Forever Prowling the World Seeking the Ruin of Souls, part 1

This article, which was posted after Midnight this morning, Eastern Daylight Saving Time, has been significantly expanded in several parts. It is about men who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Who are these men? Read for yourselves. Part two of this commentary should appear tomorrow. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Augustine of Canterbury, pray for us.

Good Catholic Common Sense Must Prevail, part 2

Here is part two of my commentary on immigration. I want to stress once again that this commentary carries with it no "authority" of any kind. It is merely a personal reflection and is an attempt, admittedly a poor one, to try to apply Catholic common sense to an issue fraught with emotionalism and demagoguery. Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us.

There should be another new article posted by tomorrow morning.

Good Catholic Common Sense Must Prevail, part 1

Well, here it is. Part one of my commentary on the issue of illegal immigration. I have no idea how long this article is. I do know that it took a long time to write. This commentary--and the set of recommendations that will be offered in part two tomorrow--is not received from the hand of God. It has no "authority" to it at all. It is an effort, perhaps a poor one, to discuss this issue in a reasoned manner by means of applying the principles of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law to these concrete circumstances.

Although there is a good deal of history in this commentary, this is by no means any sort of "comprehensive" review of the history of migration to the United States of America. Far from it. This article is merely an effort to provide something of a review of past events to help readers better understand the present. It is one of those reflections, such as those that I offered on voting in 2008, that is simply food for thought. And it is absolutely nothing other than that.

Prayers are requested for the soul of the late +Mr. Noel Dube, who died on Friday, May 21, 2010, in Pepperell, Massachusetts, at the age of ninety. I had met Mr. Dube and his wife of sixty-four years, Antoinette (Toni), at the Catholic Rendezvous at the Ragamont Inn in Salisbury, Connecticut, in 1986. He was very devoted to Our Lady, having created a very large shrine in honor of her on his property (where I was invited to speak to a gathering on the Feast of Our Lady's Assumption in the year 2000). We offer our condolences to Mrs. Dube and and their children and grandchildren, assuring them of our prayers for Mr. Dube's immortal soul and for them at this time. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all of the souls of faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Prayers are also requested for Mrs. Denise Trias, who was given the Sacrament of Extreme Unction and the Apostolic Blessing by Father Joseph Collins on Pentecost Sunday. She is suffering from cancer, and I have been told that her prognosis for survival is not good. Please pray to Saint Joseph for Mrs. Trias and her five young children.

Finally, two appendices have been added to Anti-Apostles All.

Back to work on part two of today's article.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Late Pentecost Sunday Update

Work on my next article, on the much discussed Arizona law dealing with illegal immigration, proceeds. It may not be finished for posting until Whit Tuesday, May 25, 2010. As very few people access articles on Saturdays and Sundays, permit me, therefore, to "move up" today's original article, Anti-Apostles All, for your convenience. The article was revised slightly this afternoon.

Finally, I do want to thank those of you who have made non-tax-deductible gifts to us lately. Although the post office box has been pretty empty, apart from gift from a reader in Missouri and another from one in Ireland, we have gotten some very welcome gifts via PayPal in the past week. We thank each and every one of you have made such gifts. This work is totally dependent upon the support of those who read this site. Thank you.

A continued blessed Pentecost to you all.

Pentecost Sunday Articles

Revised: From the Beginning: A Mission to Convert All Men Everywhere

Today is Pentecost Sunday, the birthday of Holy Mother Church, the upon which the first pope, Saint Peter, who was vivified as the Vivifier Himself, God the Holy Ghost, descended upon him and Our Lady and the other Apostles (and the rest of the disciples) gathered in the Upper Room in Jerusalem as they completed their Novena to God the Holy Ghost ten days after Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's glorious Ascension to His Father's right hand on Ascension Thursday.

Saint Peter wasted no time in doing something that is forbidden, at least in a de facto sense (see Wonder No More from last year), in the counterfeit church of conciliarism: he preached to the Jews about the necessity of their converting to the true Faith.

The missionary work of the Church to seek with urgency the unconditional conversion of all men and all nations to the her maternal bosom, outside of which there is no salvation and without which there is no true social order, brought us glorious missionaries who were willing to embrace many sacrifices, including martyrdom itself, to spread the Faith of the Divine Redeemer, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, so that men and all nations would be able to order themselves rightly according to the Deposit of Faith that He has entrusted exclusively to Holy Mother Church for Its eternal safekeeping and infallible explication and by means of a fervent cooperation with the graces won for us by the shedding of Our Lord's Most Precious Blood and that flow into our hearts and souls through the loving hands of Our Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of all Graces.

The work of conversion does not end when one is Baptized or Confirmed. The work of conversion away from our sinful selves to become more conformed to the Cross of the Divine Redeemer and the merciful designs of His Most Sacred Heart for us is one that is constant. Every beat of our hearts, consecrated as they must be to that same Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, must burn with fire for the love of God as He has revealed Himself to us through His true Church and as we seek to grow in holiness and to make reparation for our sins and those of the whole world. It is useless for us to be converted in the Baptismal font unless we are willing to let God the Holy Ghost help to convert us every day to cooperate more fully with His Seven Gifts and Twelve Fruits.

Saint Paul the Apostle explained that the spiritual man, the one who is filled with Sanctifying Grace, cannot be understood by the sensual or worldly man:

For what man knoweth the things of a man, but the spirit of a man that is in him? So the things also that are of God no man knoweth, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of this world, but the Spirit that is of God; that we may know the things that are given us from God. Which things also we speak, not in the learned words of human wisdom; but in the doctrine of the Spirit, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the sensual man perceiveth not these things that are of the Spirit of God; for it is foolishness to him, and he cannot understand, because it is spiritually examined. But the spiritual man judgeth all things; and he himself is judged of no man. (2 Cor. 2: 11-15)

We must keep this in mind when our relatives and friends and associates do not understand how we can refuse to keep our silence when a putative "pontiff" calls a mosque as a "jewel" or as a "sacred" place or as he prays as a Jew without mentioning the Holy Name of the Divine Redeemer (doing voluntarily what the leaders of Sanhedrin tried to force the Apostles to do, that is, to mention the "name of that man no more") and has he praises the nonexistent ability of false religions to help build the "better world." We cannot care about what others think of us. We must say and do only those things that are pleasing God, never fearing to raise our voices to defend His greater honor and glory and majesty when these are offended by one claiming to speak for the Catholic Church on earth.

The Mystical Bride of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Holy Mother Church, is as spotless and as immaculate as Our Blessed Mother herself. The Catholic Church did not give us "hootenanny" liturgies before the aftermath of the "Second" Vatican Council.

She did not give us "inter-religious dialogue" and "inter-religious" prayer services.

She gave us liturgies that came from God the Holy Ghost, not travesties that reaffirm people in the spirit of he world.

She gave us clarity of doctrine, not ambiguity and complexity that took one "clarification" after another to attempt to make "clear."

And Holy Mother Church has always mirrored Our Blessed Mother's hatred of heresy and error, which was part of the meditation written by the late Father Frederick Faber on the Sixth Dolor of Our Lady:

In the judgment of the world, and of worldly Christians, this hatred of heresy is exaggerated, bitter, contrary to moderation, indiscreet, unreasonable, aiming at too much, bigoted, intolerant, narrow, stupid, and immoral. What can we say to defend it? Nothing which they can understand. We had, therefore, better hold our peace. If we understand God, and He understands us, it is not so very hard to go through life suspected, misunderstood and unpopular. The mild self-opinionatedness of the gentle, undiscerning good will also take the world's view and condemn us; for there is a meek-loving positiveness about timid goodness which is far from God, and the instincts of whose charity is more toward those who are less for God, while its timidity is searing enough for harsh judgment. There are conversions where three-quarters of the heart stop outside the Church and only a quarter enters, and heresy can only be hated by an undivided heart. But if it is hard, it has to be borne. A man can hardly have the full use of his senses who is bent on proving to the world, God's enemy, that a thorough-going Catholic hatred of heresy is a right frame of mind. We might as well force a blind man to judge a question of color. Divine love inspheres in us a different circle of life, motive, and principle, which is not only not that of the world, but in direct enmity with it. From a worldly point of view, the craters in the moon are more explicable things than we Christians with our supernatural instinct.

We must therefore permit God the Holy Ghost to come into our souls with His bright burning flames at every moment of our lives so that we will filled with love of God and hatred of our own sins as we seek to cooperate with the graces He sends us through the loving hands of His Spouse, Our Lady, making sure to honor His Spouse as we pray as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit.

May this be our prayer this day and every day our own lives:

Come, Holy Ghost, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love.

V. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created.

R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray. O God, Who didst instruct the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Ghost, grant us in the same Spirit to be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Anti-Apostles All

Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict believes that Russian music can help bridge the differences between his conciliarists and the Orthodox as they seek "communion from the heart." This is all the work of anti-apostles, men who are denying the work begun by the Apostles this very day, Pentecost Sunday, by refusing to seek with urgency the unconditional of all non-Catholics to the Catholic Church, outside of which there is no salvation and without which there can be no true social order. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Happy birthday, Holy Mother Church.

A blessed Pentecost Sunday to you all.

Today is the Vigil of Pentecost, a day of fast and partial abstinence. We must use our time well today, starting at the the Mass for the Vigil of Pentecost, to prepare for our annual celebration of the birthday of Holy Mother Church, she who is as spotless as Our Blessed Mother and who can never give us any error or ambiguity  whatsoever. Come, Holy Ghost, fill the hearts of thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy Spirit!

As I am still working on my article on the Arizona immigration law, the next original article on this site, which will be published tomorrow, Pentecost Sunday, will deal with a different subject: the possible sell out of Catholics in th Ukraine in order to forge "closer ties" with the Russian Orthodox Church and thus for there to be an "all important" meeting between Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI and Archbishop Krill, the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church.

I am heading off to sleep, something that has been in short supply the last five days or so. All to thee, Blessed Mother. All to thy Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we love you. Save souls! Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

There will be republished articles on each of the next two days, including Pentecost Sunday.

Truth or Consequences

No, this is not about the old television game show that was hosted originally by Ralph Edwards and then by Bob Barker. This is about the consequences that we face in our world where the very nature of truth, both supernatural and natural, is under attack by the lords of Modernity in the world and by the lord of Modernism in the counterfeit church of conciliarism. There should be another article tomorrow at some point, maybe two if I can get some sleep right now. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Bernardine of Siena, pray for us.

They're Screaming At Us: We're Not Catholic

Another year. Another "Happy Vesakh" message from the conciliar Vatican to those "peace-loving," planet-caring Buddhists. The conciliarists are screaming at us: "We're not Catholic! Can't you see?" Sadly, most Catholics do not see this. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Peter Celestine, pray for us. Saint Pudentiana, pray for us.

Although I was going to write a new article dealing with the defeat of the thoroughly pro-abortion United States Senator Arlen Specter, an adherent of the Talmud, by the thoroughly pro-abortion United States Representative Joseph Sestak, a Catholic in perfectly good standing in the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism, to be posted for today, I will have that article posted for you by tomorrow morning. In the meantime, however, you can re-read the article, Blame George Walker Bush, that I wrote nearly thirteen months ago after Specter left the Republican Party to return to the Democratic Party of his youth. Arlen Specter was given a lease on his political life by Karl Rove six years ago. It is he, George Walker Bush's "The Brain," who is to blame for Specter's not having been retired by Republican Party primary voters in 2004. Ah, yes, the games that the naturalists play.

Just Following Their "Pope's" Call for Cohesion

The headmaster of a formerly Catholic high school in England that is, of course, in the control of the counterfeit church of conciliarism is requiring students to make a field trip to a Mohammedan mosque. The girls are going to have to wear headscarves. Some parents have the good Catholic sense to object to this. Alas, as correct as their Catholic senses are, of course, their "pope" has just used the same phrase--cohesion-- that that English headmaster as the rationale for the "field trip" in violation of the First Commandment. He is just following the "pope's" call for "cohesion." Madness. A very, very, very short article. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. Saint Ubaldus, pray for us.

March of The Tooth Fairies

Although now the afternoon of the Feast of Saint John Baptist de la Salle, I am posting this article, which deals with former First Lady's recent reiteration of her support for baby-killing and perversity. This is really nothing new. She gave an interview on January 20, 2001, in which she expressed her belief that Roe v. Wade should not be overturned, something that was explored in a commentary in the printed pages of Christ or Chaos at the time. Don't wax nostalgic for the former residents of the White House because the current ones are so bad. The most recent occupants were just as imbued with the anti-Incarnational errors of Modernity as those who plot their socialistic schemes of governmental control over vast sectors of the national economy and of our own daily lives. Who cares about the Social Reign of Christ the King and Mary our Immaculate Queen? Who cares about the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law? Not these naturalistic clowns, that's for sure. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. Saint John Baptist de la Salle, pray for us.

On Full Display: The Modernist Mind

Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI has been in Portugal since Tuesday, May 11, 2010. He leaves today. Maybe I can get some rest over the weekend as he has been using his time there to appear as an actual believer of Our Lady's Fatima Message when the truth is that he does not believe that Jacinta and Francisco Marto and Lucia dos Santos actually saw Our Lady with the physical eyes of their bodies in the Cova da Iria near Fatima, Portugal. How can I make such a claim? Read the article. He has provided the proof himself in what he wrote ten years ago and in how he spoke yesterday, the ninety-third anniversary of Our Lady's first apparition to the three shepherd children of Fatima. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.

May 13 Republished Article

Republished: Baptize All Men, Teach All Nations

Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's forty days' of teaching the Apostles after his glorious Resurrection from the dead on Easter Sunday culminated this very day, Ascension Thursday, as He instructed the Eleven as follows before going up into Heaven from Mount Olivet at whose foot He had suffered His Agony in the Garden six weeks before as Saints Peter, James and John slumbered:

And the eleven disciples went into Galilee, unto the mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And seeing him they adored: but some doubted. And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world. (Matthew 28: 16-20.)

There is no "expiration" date on this command. Indeed, the commentary in the Bishop Richard Challoner version of the Douay-Rheims Bible explains that the command is in force until Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ comes in glory on the Last Day to judge the living and the dead and that His Church could never go astray, meaning, of course, that it is impossible for the Catholic Church to give any impression at all that God is pleased with false religions such as Mohammedanism and Talmudic Judaism, which is what Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI did consistently throughout his pilgrimage to Jordan and Israel that ended six days ago now:

18 "All power"... See here the warrant and commission of the apostles and their successors, the bishops and pastors of Christ's church. He received from his Father all power in heaven and in earth: and in virtue of this power, he sends them (even as his Father sent him, St. John 20. 21) to teach and disciple, not one, but all nations; and instruct them in all truths: and that he may assist them effectually in the execution of this commission, he promises to be with them, not for three or four hundred years only, but all days, even to the consummation of the world. How then could the Catholic Church ever go astray; having always with her pastors, as is here promised, Christ himself, who is the way, the truth, and the life. St. John 14.

The Catholic Church can never go astray. She is infallible. She does not give us any "new ecclesiology" or "hermeneutic of continuity and discontinuity" to deconstruct the meaning of dogmatic truth, thus attacking the essence of the nature of God Himself, or false ecumenism. Her pastors do not esteem the symbols and values and places of false religions and they do not engage in "inter-religious" "prayer" services. Her pastors do not teach that false religions have a "right" from God to propagate their false beliefs publicly and they do not praise those false beliefs for being "able" to "contribute" to the building of a "better" world. Pastors of the Catholic Church insist always and at all times that Catholicism is the one and only foundation of personal and social order with no equivocation, uncertainty, ambiguity or obscurity of any kind.

As Pope Pius XI noted in Mortalium Animos, January 6, 1928, there is need to "strain" to "find" Catholicism in the pronouncements made by Holy Mother Church:

For the teaching authority of the Church, which in the divine wisdom was constituted on earth in order that revealed doctrines might remain intact for ever, and that they might be brought with ease and security to the knowledge of men, and which is daily exercised through the Roman Pontiff and the Bishops who are in communion with him, has also the office of defining, when it sees fit, any truth with solemn rites and decrees, whenever this is necessary either to oppose the errors or the attacks of heretics, or more clearly and in greater detail to stamp the minds of the faithful with the articles of sacred doctrine which have been explained. (Pope Pius XI, Mortalium Animos, January 6, 1928.)

How has the integrity of the doctrine of the First commandment been stamped on "minds of the faithful" by the words and deeds of Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI? By scenes such as this one?

Benedict enters Dome of the Rock

Benedict denying Catholic doctrine and history at the Dome of the Rock

Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Ascended into Heaven this day. We must ascend with Him in our thoughts and prayers at all times as we refuse to have our minds and hearts poisoned by the words and the deeds of the false shepherds of the counterfeit church of conciliarism who dare to blaspheme God so regularly and so openly and/or who refuse to open their mouths in defense of the honor and majesty and glory of God when He is so blasphemed and offended.

As the angel made clear to the Eleven as they looked into the sky as Our Lord disappeared from their sight on this day, there is work for us to do:

They therefore who were come together, asked him, saying: Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? But he said to them: It is not for you to know the times or moments, which the Father hath put in his own power: But you shall receive the power of the Holy Ghost coming upon you, and you shall be witnesses unto me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had said these things, while they looked on, he was raised up: and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they were beholding him going up to heaven, behold two men stood by them in white garments.

Who also said: Ye men of Galilee, why stand you looking up to heaven? This Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come, as you have seen him going into heaven. Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount that is called Olivet, which is nigh Jerusalem, within a sabbath day's journey. And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode Peter and John, James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James of Alpheus, and Simon Zelotes, and Jude the brother of James. All these were persevering with one mind in prayer with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. (Acts 1: 6-14.)

Yes, we can't stand around all day long looking into the sky. There is work for us to do before Our Lord comes for us at the moment of our own Particular Judgments, which can come at any hour and on any day, and at the end of the world to judge the living and the dead.

The work that we have to do is to sanctify and to save our immortal souls as members of the Catholic Church, work that requires us to be attentive to the graces that were won for us on the wood of the Holy Cross by the shedding of every single drop of Our Blessed Lord Saviour Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood and the flow into our hearts and souls through the loving hands of Our Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces. And to cooperate with the graces that Our Lady sends we must be fortified in prayer, which is one of the reasons that we must keep most assiduously the first Novena in the history of the Church, the Novena to God the Holy Ghost.

Our Lady was separated from her Divine Son when He Ascended to Heaven. She was united to Him, however, by means of her reception of His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in Holy Communion. She was united to the Apostles and the others who prayed in the same Upper Room where He had instituted the Holy Priesthood and the Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday. She is united to us. She is our Blessed Mother. We need to ask her for all the graces that we need to save and to sanctify our souls as we eschew worldliness, which is the theme of today's slightly revised article, and as we refuse to participate in the fraud of a false religion, conciliarism, that is replete with daily outrages given to her Divine Son, starting with the outrage that is the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo service, and as we make much reparation for our sins and those of the whole world as the consecrated slaves of her Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, especially on this ninety-third anniversary of Our Lady's first apparition to Jacinta and Francisco Marto and Lucia dos Santos in the Cova da Iria near Fatima, Portugal.

Speaking of Fatima, the false "pontiff" is still there, working in a reference to the "luminous mysteries" yesterday in yet another subtle, insidious effort to make it appears though such conciliar novelties are pleasing to God. He also spoke yet again about how the Catholic Church, she is the repository of the Deposit of Faith, is always "seeking" truth. I will have another commentary on Ratzinger/Benedict's pilgrimage to Portugal by tomorrow morning, Friday, May 14, 2010, by which time the false "pontiff" most likely will have said more things that are efforts to recast the Faith according to the "truth" of conciliarism. Kyrie eleison!

A blessed Feast of the Ascension of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to you all.

(In some places in the conciliar world today, of course, it is not Ascension Thursday. See Motu Madness Merry-Go-Round from two years ago for an explanation.)

Not Going Down With the Conciliar Ship

A very brief article about the continued Vatican spin-doctoring concerning Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI's alleged lack of knowledge concerning the worldwide cover-up of moral crimes involving perverted members of the conciliar hierarchy and clergy. One who has been thrown under the bus twice by Ratzinger/Benedict, Dario "Cardinal" Castrillon Hoyos, is refusing to be thrown under a second time. This article has been expanded slightly in light of comments made by Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI while flying from Rome to Portugal. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

My article about President Barack Hussein Obama's selection of Solicitor General Elena Kagan to replace retiring Associate Justice John Paul Stevens on the Supreme Court of the United States will appear tomorrow as it is taking longer to complete than I expected.

A final word on the telescope fiasco: I have had an interesting exchange today with Mr. Greg Anthony Szymanski, whose "reporting" on the telescope named for the adversary is what prompted me to include what I have now admitted was the erroneous representation that the name was chosen jointly by the University of Arizona and the Jesuits and the Vatican.

Although completely unfamiliar with Mr. Szymanski's current anti-Catholic work, I was familiar with his name from the years that he spent as a correspondent covering the Vatican, which is why I thought that the report was credible. As I admitted last evening, my fact-checking was bad, and the responsibility for the error is, of course, mine alone. I should not have relied on that one source. (Here is the link to the original article: University of Arizona, Vatican and Jesuits Name New Telescope.)

I wrote to Mr. Szymanski to explain that his report was erroneous, taking, of course, full responsibility for my own failure to do adequate fact-checking. This is what he wrote back to me for the written record after he explained that we should not be "bickering" about "trivial" names given to a telescope:

I believe the Jesuit Order should be kicked out of America for political meddling in both foreign and domestic affairs. Mt. Graham should also be given back to the Native Americans and the profits from the sale of the equipment at Mt. Graham used to help poverty on Native American Reservations.

This is my response to Mr. Szymanski:

I will indeed quote you, although it is important to note that getting a single fact wrong is never a trivial matter with God, Who will examine each of our words and deeds with exactitude at the Particular Judgment. We do not have the luxury of making errors of fact, and if such are made inadvertently we need to admit them openly as a matter of simple justice once we realize that we are in error.

Protestantism assures men that they are forgiven without any mediation at the hands of an alter Christus in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance. Behold the wreckage wrought in the world in the past nearly half-millennium  as a result of that sin of Presumption against God the Holy Ghost.

With prayers in Christ the King and Mary our Immaculate Queen,

Thomas A. Droleskey

Thus ends the saga of the telescope fiasco--or so I thought. Mr. Szymanski responded to my note as follows, subsequently giving me permission to quote it in toto:

The fact was not wrong and if so, sue me for defaming the pretty little boys in the so-called Society of Jesus.

And Mary may be your Immaculate Queen, but she is not mine, thank you...nothing further said on the subject.

What God has in store for you and I, only the Creator knows. So take your false preaching to the unholy RCC altar as there are over 1 billion you can talk to. Ask the Pope to save you and if that ain't the "pot callin' the kettle black, " nothin is...

Good day, Sir, and here are a few suggestions to make your day a happier one...

Don't eat meat on Friday

Enjoy Isis worship

Say ten times out loud: The vicar of Christ is Pope Rat and only through Pope Rat do we get to heaven.

I can only apologize once again for the mistake that I made. Readers can judge for themselves whether Mr. Szymanski's "reporting" is credible.

May 10 Article and Evening Update/Apology

To A Dead End on the Wrong Path

Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI has specialized in reaffirming adherents of false religions in their false beliefs, never seeking with urgency the unconditional conversion of non-Catholics to the true Faith. No, not even the "conservative" or "traditional" Anglicans who are shifting en masse from one deck of the S. S. One World Ecumenical Church to another are asked to "convert" to the conciliar structures unconditionally, no less to make any abjuration of error, as they are being permitted to retain their liturgical books that were deemed heretical by Pope Saint Pius V in Regnans in Excelsis, March 5, 1570. And Ratzinger/Benedict did not seek out the "conversion" of these Anglicans. They went to him. Indeed, Walter "Cardinal" Kasper, the President of the "Pontifical" Council for Promoting Christian Unity, has told the Anglicans several times that the conciliar Vatican wants to see the "worldwide Anglican Communion" remain intact. They have their "traditions," after all.

It should thus come as no surprise whatsoever that Ratzinger/Benedict has not sought the conversion of any of the adherents of the Talmud when he has addressed them in synagogues in Cologne, Germany, the City of New York, New York, or Rome, Italy. He did not seek the conversion of the former chief rabbi of Rome, Elio Toaff, who turned ninety-five years of age recently. It hasn't occurred to Ratzinger/Benedict that God has kept Elio Toaff alive so that someone can invite him as his true friend into the true Church, the Catholic Church, outside of which there is no salvation and without which there can be no true social order. Late-evening update: It's now time for an apology. I try to be very thorough in the research for the articles that I place on this site. There are sometimes, however, when I make mistakes. I made a major one in the first posting of Pope Saint Pius X and the Conversion of the Conciliarists three days ago, falling for an e-mail dispatch that had been sent to me by a reader that turned out to be contradicted by the very Popular Science article that I pasted in my commentary. Shame on me for such carelessness in fact-checking. The new telescope at the University of Arizona is located next to one run by the the Vatican on Mount Graham. It has nothing to do with the Vatican. I apologize profusely for this inexcusable, irresponsible error. I have only myself to blame. Please accept my apologies. I should have known that not even the adversary is bold enough to put his name on a Vatican telescope. Shame on me. Mea culpa!

Pope Saint Pius X and the Conversion of the Conciliarists

This article was going to be posted last night. It was done, ready to be posted. At the time of its attempted posting, however, the hosting company was moving my files to another server on a different computer. I thought that I would be able to post this article prior to Holy Mass this morning. The server was still "down" and "not accepting connections." The problem was not resolved until mid-morning, at which time new problems presented themselves. These problems continue to prevent the Articles page from being edited. I thank the competent gentleman from the hosting company who continue to provide help to me on these issues. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us

The article? Read it for yourselves. . . .

Back from running errands, now in the evening of the Feast of Saint Stanislaus, I neglected to mention when this page was posted finally early this afternoon that I am not linking to the interview that I gave yesterday on the Social Reign of Christ the King as I was unaware that the link to the interview would appear on a generic website that features immodest and indecent advertising. That's a non-starter for me. Those who desire to listen to any program on this rather eclectic website have to register and provide all types of personal information. Not good. I will try to find some way to download the interview and upload to this site.

All to thee, Blessed Mother. All to thy Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we love you. Save souls!

Pope Saint Pius V and the Conversion of the Muslims

Events (duties of state, computer problems) conspired to delay completion this relatively brief article until late on the evening of the Feast of Pope Saint Pius V. As I have a radio interview tomorrow that might last for two hours, it is possible that the next article, which will be a lengthy one, may not be published until Friday, May 7, 2010, the Feast of Saint Stanislaus. It will be entitled, "Pope Saint Pius V and the Conversion of the Conciliarists." Thank you for your patience.

May 4 Article and Late Evening Update

Caesars Ignoramus

Caesar Barackus Obamus Ignoramus gave a commencement address at the University of Michigan there days ago that was a defense of "big government." This is a little instruction to remind you that "big government" is but the logical result of the overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King wrought by the Protestant Revolt and the rise of forces of naturalism represented by Judeo-Masonry. This is a pretty comprehensive treatment of the issue of the Social Reign of Christ the King in the context of our present circumstances. Do give it a read when you have a chance. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. Saint Monica, pray for us.

Late evening update: Although I had hoped to have another article posted today, that will have to wait until tomorrow afternoon. It is entitled, "Saint Pius V and the Conversion of the Muslims."

Peep

That's how meekly Bishop Bernard Fellay and other bishops and priests in the Society of Saint Pius X are surrendering to the authorities of the counterfeit church of conciliarism. They are serving their conciliar master, Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI as the false "pope" continues to blaspheme God by his words and actions that no true pope of the Catholic Church has ever spoken or done. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Athanasius, pray for us. Saint Helena, pray for us.

To Be More Effective Witnesses of Conciliarism

Well, well, well. The "apostolic visitators" have made their report about the Legionaries of Christ. A few of the recommendations were foreseen in an article last year and in the one published two days ago, Unimaginable Deceit and Duplicity. It is ultimately the goal of Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI to make the order founded the corrupt, disgraced, unrepentant-to-the-point-of-his death Father Marcial Maciel Degollado a more effective and credible witness in behalf of the apostasies of concilairism. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Athanasius, pray for us.

This article took precedence over another one I was working on for publication tomorrow. It is my hope to have that other article published by tomorrow morning, the Feast of the Finding of the Holy Cross.

Total Marian Consecration

On this first day of the month of May, the month of Our Lady, which is also the First Saturday of Our Lady's month, I have dusted off and revised quite substantially a reflection on Total Consecration to the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary that was first published in the printed pages of Christ or Chaos nine years ago this month. Actually, this reflection was first written ten years ago for use for a priest in the conciliar structures to be distributed to his parishioners. Although there is absolutely nothing profound contained in this reflection, I do hope that it helps to serve as a modest introduction to the topic of total consecration to Our Lady for those who are unfamiliar with the benefits that accrue to those who enslave themselves to her Divine Son through her own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. Saints Philip and James, pray for us.

Unimaginable Deceit and Duplicity

This article is a reworking of one published last year about the Legionaries of Christ. A lot of the older material has been reworked en toto into this article so that readers will not have to flip back and forth. The issue of the deceit and corruption of the Legionaries of Christ and its disgraced founder, the late Father Marcial Maciel Degollado, is being revisited at this time because of a two-part article written by Jason Berry in National Catholic Reporter. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Catherine of Siena, T.O.P., pray for us.

Triumph of the Body Snatchers

This article was posted around 3:15 p.m., Eastern time, this afternoon as we were going out to pick up our daughter from school. There was no time to write even a brief introduction.

This article is a review of the industry of body-snatching that masquerades itself under the euphemism of "organ donation." A piece of legislation has been introduced by New York State Assemblyman Richard Brodsky that would make all New Yorkers "organ donors" unless they choose to "opt out," a process that might require them to appear before a government review board as is the case in some states when one wants to get a waiver--for religious reasons--of immunization from having one's child's body polluted with vaccinations. Assemblyman Brodsky thus wants New Yorkers to sign their own death warrants. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Peter of Verona, pray for us.

There should be a new article (the one hundredth of calendar year 2010) and a revised article published tomorrow, the Feat of Saint Catherine of Siena, T.O.P.

More Wallpaper That Glows in the Dark on Wall Street

This article, which was posted after Midnight this morning and which contains recycled material from sixteen months ago, is a brief examination of the amorality exhibited by the executives of Goldman Sachs who testified yesterday before the United States Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Joseph, who worked in and was a lover of holy poverty, pray for  us.

As the Feast of Saint Louis Grignion de Montfort is commemorated today, it would be fitting for those who are totally consecrated to Our Lord through Our Lady's Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart to renew their consecrations today.

Look for another article to be posted tomorrow, the Feast of Saint Peter of Verona, O.P., at some point.

Hoisted on the Petard of Healthy Secularity

The conciliarists keep telling us how our "modern" world is need of "dialogue" and not condemnation, that a civil state that is officially "neutral" to religion is the best arrangement that can exist in a pluralistic society. By what standard, therefore, can the conciliarists object to the "free speech" "rights" of that anti-Catholic juvenile in the British Foreign Office who wrote a vile memorandum mocking the teaching of the Catholic Church? Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Peter Canisius, pray for us.

There should be yet another original article on this site at some point tomorrow, the Octave Day of the Solemnity of Saint Joseph.

When Devils Are Two Of A Kind

Officials in a southern province of Red China are busily engaging in a program of over ten thousand forced sterilizations at this time. There has been not a word of condemnation about this program from anyone in the administration of Barack Hussein Obama. Interestingly, of course, there has not been a word of condemnation about this program, at least not thus far, from anyone in the conciliar Vatican, which is headed by man, Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, who has sold out the underground Catholics in Red China to the schismatic and heretical rump church created by the Chicoms, the Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association. This is what one can expect when devils are two of a kind. Our Lady of Good Counsel, pray for us.

There will be another original article tomorrow, Tuesday, April 27, 2010, the Feast of Saint Peter Canisius.

The post office box continues to be empty. We received one non-tax-deductible gift on Saturday, April 17, 2010, that made possible the payment of two bills. Another gift was received on Monday, April 19, 2010, from a reader in Louisiana. There has been nothing in the post office box since that time. All I can do is to remind those readers who do support the work of this site and have the financial means to make a non-tax-deductible financial gift to do so as all it would take to keep such paragraphs as this one from being posted is for a tenth of the readership of this site to make a two to five dollar gift once a month. That's all it would take. We need your help, entrusting this request to Our Lady of Good Counsel on her feast day and to her Most Chaste Spouse, Saint Joseph.

April 25 Late Evening Update

The next article on this site will appear at some point tomorrow, Monday, April 26, 2010. I am sorry for the delay. Apologizing to Everyone Save For God Himself should have kept you pretty busy in the interim! It certainly kept me pretty busy while writing it!

Apologizing to Everyone Save For God Himself

Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI issued an apology while on Malta last weekend to the victims of clerical abuse. He owes God an apology for the offenses he has committed against Him (and/or suborned passively or actively in others) in the five years of his false "pontificate." Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint George, pray for us--and help to slay the dragons of conciliarism once and for all!

As this article took a very long time to complete, look for the next original article to appear on this site on Sunday, April 25, 2010, the Feast of Saint Mark the Evangelist and the Commemoration of the Third Sunday after Easter.

In the meantime, therefore, if you have read through the new article above, you can take a look at my revised tribute to Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen, Another Contrast With Conciliarism: Saint Fidelis. Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen, pray for us.

Late April 22 Update

Although I had hoped to have my next article completed and posted by now, prudence dictates that I cease work on it in order to get something that has eluded me much in the past week or so, what the ancients would have called "sleep." The article, which was begun yesterday afternoon, should be finished by tomorrow afternoon. I ask you (tongue planted firmly in cheek--I am a sarcastic New Yorker, after all) to have the same patience for the next article that I have to have when checking our ever-so-lonely post office box for your non-tax-deductible financial gifts. Look for that article tomorrow, Friday, April 23, 2010, by around 3:00 p.m.

Finally, I ask your prayers for a very urgent special intention.

Revised: Why Live in Fear With Saint Joseph So Near Now As Ever Before

Today is the Solemnity of Saint Joseph in Paschaltide. "Fall Guys" Aren't Usually "Stand-Up Guys"

The hour is late. I am still under the weather physically, something that, of course, is meant to strengthen me spiritually as I attempt to make reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary for my sins.

This article deals with the revelation that Monsignor Gerhard Gruber, who was pressured into taking the "fall" for Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI's approval of a clerical abuser's assignment to parish work in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising, Germany, in 1980. Monsignor Gruber has, it appears, suffered pangs of conscience about signing a statement that he has told theologian friends is not accurate. Chancery officials in Munich had to do something to exculpate the cowardly "pope," Ratzinger/Benedict, and they chose Monsignor Gruber to be their fall guy. May God have mercy on us all. Wake Up and Smell The Sulphur Dioxide

Although commercial airline flights are going to resume in many parts of northern Europe that have been covered with the cloud of volcanic ash that has spewed out from beneath the Eyjafjallajokull glacier in Iceland, sporadic disruptions in travel and commerce may continue for another few months, if not longer. The last eruption of the volcano beneath the Eyjafjallajokull glacier lasted off and on for two years, between 1821 and 1823. The captains of European industry and commerce, men and women who are inheritors of the perverse theological legacy of John Calvin, are concerned principally about economic well-being as the ultimate end of all human existence, are angry about the inconveniences they are suffering at the present time, incapable of seeing the volcanic ash cloud as symbolic of the cloud of sin that covers once proudly Catholic Europe. Wake up and smell the sulphur dioxide. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!

Dario Castrillon Hoyos, Meet Pope Saint Pius V

A very short article detailing just a slight difference between the approach of a conciliar "cardinal" and a conciliar "bishop" when faced with instances of clerical abuse and that of the late Pope Saint Pius V. The difference is, of course, between the counterfeit ape of Catholicism, conciliarism, and Catholicism itself. It is that simple.

Although I am still on the mend from the first sickness that I have had in many months, I will try to have a new article for you tomorrow.

Audio Presentation: Scandal in a Church of Apostasy

As promised, this is my follow-up to the brief interview that I had with Jan Mickelson on WHO Radio two days ago. Many of the same points have been made in this presentation, which is really nothing new for those who have listened to (or watched) my presentations on this subject in the past. It is fairly comprehensive, lasting a total of ninety minutes, which is about six hours, thirty minutes shorter than my two video presentations on the subject at Christ or Chaos Store. (For a point-by-by comparison of the beliefs of Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict and those of the Catholic Church, please see A Reference Resource: Ratzinger's War Against Catholicism. It might be wise as well to review the story (Embracing The Faith No Matter the Consequences) of a former conciliar presbyter, Michael Oswalt, who is now studying for his conditional ordination to the priesthood under Father Casimir Puskorius, CMRI, at Mount Saint Michael's Church in Spokane, Washington. The story of the late Father Vincent Bowes, O.C.D., who died a year ago this Monday, April 19, is also worth another reading: Bookended From Birth to Birth

There should be another written article posted on this site on Monday, at the latest. I am bit under the weather, having caught our daughter's cold and sore throat. All to thee, Blessed Mother. All to thy Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, we love you, save souls!

Ecce! Novus Homo

Caesar Obamus is at it again, issuing a largely symbolic "presidential memoranda" to make those who base their human self-identity on the persistence in unrepentant sins of perversity against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments feel better about their "civil" rights. Behold the modern man of Modernity and Modernity. Behold a society in ruins as a result of the overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King. Our Lad of Fatima, pray for us.

I will try to record that audio presentation to elaborate on my interview with Jan Mickelson yesterday at some point tomorrow. The interview, which is found at the end of Jan's show, can be accessed at: Jan Mickelson's podcast home page.

Good Intentions Still Do Not Redeem Moral Flaws

This a re-working of an older article dealing with "pro-life" legislative initiatives that aren't truly pro-life.

For those of you who are accessing this site for the first time as a result of my very short interview this morning on WHO Radio with Jan Mickelson, I will be recording a audio presentation on the subject covered in the interview to go over things in slightly more detail. I will say that Jan Mickelson got the gist of what I was attempting in my rapid-fire, New York manner to convey. "You're saying that non-Catholics taken over the Church." He wasn't saying that he agreed with me, only that he understood what I was trying to convey. I thank Jan for having me on his program.

Obama in Disneyland

The hour is late. This article deals with Caesar Obamus's latest venture in the world of fantasy worthy of the naturalists at Disneyland: his "nuclear non-proliferation" conference that was held in the heart of our own national Disneyland, Washington, District of Columbia, the land of the surreal. No less surreal, of course, is the belief of the conciliarists, starting with Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, that it is not necessary for men and their nations to be subordinate to the Social Reign of Christ the King at all times, that "peace" consists in the "coexistence" of "religions." Madness. Just utter and complete madness. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. Saint Justin Martyr, pray for us. Saints Tiburtius and Companions, pray for us.

"Traditions" That Come From Hell

Time is short. The quotes in this article are familiar to longtime readers of this site. More Than A Matter of Legality

Yet another article dealing with the mess in the counterfeit church of conciliarism caused by the systematic recruitment of men inclined to commit acts of moral perversity into the conciliar presbyterate and "hierarchy." As the article contains several quotations dealing with explicit charges against the late Giovanni Montini/Paul VI, it should not be shown to children or read by those who want to avoid such material, which was included to demonstrate that the problem of moral perversity in the conciliar church can trace much of its proximate root cause to the real probability that one so inclined was at the very head of that false church from June 21, 1963, to August 6, 1978. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

A blessed Low Sunday to you all.

Please pray for the repose of the souls of the late President of Poland, Lech Kaczynski, and his wife and over eighty members of the Polish government who were killed in a plane crash near Katyn, Russia, the site of the famous Soviet massacre of 20,000 Polish military offices in the Katyn Forest in 1940. Although I am not a conspiracy theorist and admit full well that the presidential plane, which was manufactured in the old Soviet Union, might have malfunctioned, it sure does sure the purposes of Russian Prime Minister Vladmir Putin and the leaders of the European Union to be rid of these Catholics who were opposed to abortion and perversity under cover of the civil law. I will wait until reading more before commenting on the matter.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and all of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

April 8 Article and Late Evening Update

Awash In A Flood of Errors and Lies

What's this article about? I wish I could tell you. Unfortunately, I have not slept much in days. You'll have to find out for yourselves by doing what the ancients would call reading it.

As many of you are aware, Brother Pio-Francis, T.O.S.F., known in the secular world as Dario Protomanni, has issued a statement renouncing his year-long belief that the canonical doctrine of the Church teaching that those who defect from the Faith cannot hold the Church's ecclesiastical offices legitimately. He had composed a website, Sede Vacante, to provide a very cogent set of arguments in support the application of sedevacantism in these times of apostasy and betrayal, featuring also an interview with a priest who left the Society of Saint Pius X to become a sedevacantist.

Mr. Protomanni's decision, which was his to make, of course, was not undertaken as a result of any consultation whatsoever with the spiritual director of his own Franciscan Third Order Chapter, Father Francis Miller, O.F.M., the pastor of Christ the King Church in Lafayette, Louisiana, who knew nothing about Mr. Protomanni's decision until he received an e-mail from him. Mr. Protomanni's e-mail included a request that no one reply to him. Father Francis has affirmed to me that Mr. Protomanni has not been in touch with him as of last evening, Easter Wednesday, April 7, 2010, and he is profoundly saddened by this fact as well as by Mr. Protomanni's decision.

We need to pray for the grace of perseverance in these times of apostasy and betrayal. The far easier course in life is to go along with the crowd when only a tiny handful of people, who are usually at war with each other, understand that the conciliar "popes" have been, to quote the words that the late Father Vincent Bowes attributed to Our Lord Himself, "antipopes but Antichrists." We must pray to Our Lady to persevere as it is only by her graces that any of us can see the truth for what it is and to persevere in it. Believe me, the temptation is strong, particularly in the midst of the internecine warfare, to surrender to the devil. Surrendering to blasphemers and apostates, however, is not an option no matter how easy it would make our lives from a human point of view. It is just not an option.

Pray for Mr. Protomanni and his family. Commend him to Our Lady and Saint Joseph and Saint Francis himself as we continue to make reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary for our many sins that are so responsible for the worsening of the state of the Church Militant on earth and thus of the world-at-large.

Finally, the financial cupboard is pretty bare. We would be completely bereft of the means of this world if not for the loyal support of a few "heavy lifters" who make it possible us to pray our bills at the beginning of each month. Those bills are paid. There is almost next to nothing left over. The post office box has been relatively empty the last few weeks. We do need more of you who support the work of this site and who have the means to be of assistance to us to make even modest non-tax-deductible financial gifts on a regular basis. Thank you.

Late evening update: A new article will appear on this site by around 1:00 p.m., Eastern Daylight Saving Time, tomorrow, Easter Friday. Thank you for your patience.

"Canonizing" A Man Who Protected Moral Derelicts

It's a madhouse. A madhouse. We're living in madhouse. Some in the conciliar Vatican have gone so far as to claim that Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI and his "bishops" are suffering at the present time in the manner of the Christian martyrs of the first centuries of the Catholic Church. It's a madhouse. Thousands of souls have been victimized by the moral crimes of "bishops" and priests and presbyters in the conciliar structures and those who enabled them over and over are to be compared with the thirteen million Catholics who were killed by the Romans and other pagan and barbaric authorities in the first centuries of the Church? It's a madhouse. A madhouse. Another example of the insanity is looking at articles quoting defenders of Ratzinger/Benedict throwing Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II "under the bus" while John Paul II's successor, Ratzinger/Benedict still sings the praises of his "sanctity." I need a strait-jacket. It's a madhouse, a madhouse. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

A continued blessed Easter to you all.

Surely He Jests and Conciliar Confusion, Catholic Zeal For Souls

As the "universal serial bus" doodad that connects my computer to the internet broke last night, I have had to spend this morning getting a replacement, thus the delay in posting these two articles that I wanted to post last night. All in God's Holy Providence. All is given back to Him with joy and gratitude through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

These two articles deal with different aspects of efforts on the part of conciliarists to defend Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI in particular and the conciliar church in general in light of the criticism that have been leveled in the secular media lately over the handling of clerical abuse cases. The first of these articles, Surely He Jests, contains newspaper reports of egregious behavior that was covered-up by William "Cardinal" Levada. It is not to be accessed by the young or by those who are easily scandalized.

Although I am not one to sign up for conspiracy theories, I have long stated that the ultimate conspiracy theorist is the devil, who is using the conciliar church's systematic recruitment of men inclined to commit perverse acts against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments into its clerical and episcopal ranks as a means of making Ratzinger/Benedict, who has blasphemed God repeatedly and who has appointed one reprobate "bishop" after another in his nearly five year reign, a sympathetic figure to Catholics in the conciliar structures worldwide This is a brilliant strategy. Who wants to oppose the "suffering 'pope'" who has entered into synagogues and mosques and called them "sacred" places? Don't we just have to rally around our "pope"? Antichrist cannot be far away.  Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Vincent Ferrer, pray for us.

Easter Sunday Revised Article

Revised: Resurrexi et Adhuc Tecum Sum, Alleluia

Alleluia! He is Risen! Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has made manifest His Easter Victory over sin and eternal death. "O death, where is Thy victory. O death, where is thy sting?"

We shall all indeed rise again: but we shall not all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall rise again incorruptible: and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption; and this mortal must put on immortality. And when this mortal hath put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?

Now the sting of death is sin: and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who hath given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast and unmoveable; always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Cor. 15: 51-58)

Our Lord made His Easter Victory over sin and eternal death manifest first to His Most Blessed Mother, who stood so valiantly at the foot of His Most Holy Cross as she cooperated completely in His Redemptive Act, bringing us forth as the spiritual sons and daughters of the living God in great pain by means of adoption. W need to rely on the help of Our Lady as the consecrated slaves of Her Divine Son through her own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart so that we may persevere in a state of Sanctifying Grace with perfect contrition for our sins until the moments of our deaths so that our bodies and souls will be resurrected on the Last Day at the General Judgment of the Living and the Dead and counted among those destined for the enjoyment of an unending Easter Sunday of glory in Paradise.

Nothing else matters if we save our souls by cooperating with the graces won for us by the shedding of every single drop of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood on the wood of the Holy Cross and that flow into our hearts and souls through the loving hands of Our Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces. Nothing else matters if we fail to soul our souls.

This glorious day of Easter rejoicing is meant to be but a foretaste of Heaven. Let us live as redeemed creatures as we reject the naturalism of Modernity and the Modernism of the soul-killing agents of the counterfeit church of conciliarism. This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad!

A blessed Easter Sunday to you all!

Holy Saturday Revised Article

Revised: A Day of Anticipation After A Night of Waiting

Silence filled the earth in the forty hours between the death of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on the wood of the Holy Cross yesterday, Good Friday, and His glorious Resurrection at dawn on Easter Sunday. Silence filled the earth as the God-Man went down into Limbo to announce the news of His Redemptive Act to the souls of the just who had awaited His Coming and His Sacrifice in atonement for the sins of all men from the beginning until the end of time.

Given the state of the Church Militant on earth during this time of papal vacancy, some Catholics, including ourselves, will be anticipating Our Lord's Resurrection this morning during the Easter Vigil at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel in Monroe, Connecticut, where the traditional Dominican Rite, which was not touched the Annibale Bugnini-inspired Holy Week changes that went into effect in 1956, is followed. . No matter when the Easter Vigil is offered, however, we spend the first hours of this day (from Midnight until the Easter Vigil) continuing our prayers of gratitude as we mourn the death of Our Divine Redeemer by means of our sins.

Christ the King is the Light of the World. It is His light that is symbolized by the Easter fire that is lit at the beginning of the Easter Vigil. The Light of Christ breaks through the darkness of sin and eternal death, leading us by the fire of His bright, burning love as we continue our desert journey of life to the Promised Land of the New and Eternal Canaan made possible by His immolation on the wood of the Holy Cross yesterday, Good Friday. We must follow the Light of Christ  as He, the New Moses, leads us as the first Moses led the Hebrew people as he followed a column of cloud during the day and a column of fire during the night, as we reminded once again during the Prophecies that are read during the Easter Vigil.

The Light of Christ, Our Crucified and Resurrected Saviour, will penetrate the souls of those who are baptized today and of those who are confirmed. It will penetrate the souls of those of us who were unable to receive Him in Holy Communion yesterday at the Mass of the Presanctified. It will penetrate the souls of those who are regenerated once again in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance. The Light of Christ that is symbolized by the Paschal Candle is meant to permeate every aspect of our lives without any exception at any time for any reason.

The Light of Christ has indeed broken through the darkness of sin and eternal death. Our Lord is making manifest His Easter Victory over the power of sin and eternal death. A fifty day period of glorious celebration is about to break upon us. Although the Easter Vigil is a long ceremony, eternity is forever. We can certainly spend five hours basking in the glories of the Sacred Liturgy that are, after all, a foretaste of eternal glories, can we not? The rewards are truly Heavenly, rewards that we could not have unless the Co-Eternal and Co-Equal Son obeyed His Heavenly Father out of love for him and out of love for us so that we could have access to the treasures of His Most Sacred Heart here through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

It is still too early to use the forbidden "A------a" word that we have not heard since Septuagesima Sunday. However, it is not too early to look forward to its use prior to the proclamation of the Gospel during the Easter Vigil Mass.

A blessed Holy Saturday to you.

An original article dealing with William "Cardinal" Levada's statement in defense of Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI's handling of clergy abuse cases and dealing as well with the absurd comments made yesterday by Father Raniero Cantalamessa, O.F.M., Cap., in the Basilica of Saint Peter has been written. It will be published on Easter Monday.

Good Friday Articles

Republished: The Most Solemn Day of the Year

This is the day that our sins transcended time and played their significant parts in putting God to death. The greatest crime in the history of the world was committed this day, Deicide, and we were among the guilty parties putting God on trial and then subjecting Him to horrible and painful humiliations and scourgings before we nailed Him to the wood of the Holy Cross, upon which He paid back to His Co-Equal and Co-Eternal Father the debt of our sins.

Yes, there is no greater crime than Deicide. There is also no greater act of love in all of human history as Love Incarnate took upon Himself the guilt of our sins though He was guilty of nothing. It was out of love for His Co-Equal and Co-Eternal Father's Holy Will and His matchless love for us that He, Who had instituted the Priesthood and the Eucharist last evening at the Last Supper, that He subjected Himself to the hands of us sinful men, even going so far as to make excuses for us, His executioners, as He hung on the gibbet of the Holy Cross.

This great act of sacrificial, redemptive love of the God-Man, Who had become Incarnate in His Most Blessed Mother's Virginal and Immaculate Womb by the power of God the Holy Ghost, is re-presented in an unbloody manner on altars of Sacrifice by true bishops and true priests every day of the year except for today, Good Friday. Our focus today is on mourning for our sins and expressing our gratitude that we have been redeemed by the shedding of every single drop of the Most Precious Blood of Our Divine Redeemer, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as we ask Our Lady to help us to grow in a greater fervor for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as we grow more and more detached from even our Venial Sins and come to despise them as much as we despise any Mortal Sins that, God forbid, we may have committed.

This is a day of solemnity and sobriety, a day of total withdrawal from the world and its madness. We spend our time in church today as we keep Our Lord company at the Altar of Repose prior to noon and as we participate in the Mass of the Presanctified. Our sins put God to death. We helped to murder God in the very Flesh.

How does God repay us ungrateful and frequently lukewarm sinners? He gives us the true Church, born out of the Blood and Water that flowed forth from His wounded side when It was pierced by Saint Longinus's lance, making possible our regeneration in the Baptismal font and in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance, making it possible for us therefore to receive His very Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Most Blessed Sacrament in Holy Communion. And he give us His Blessed Mother, she who is our Co-Redemptrix, our Mediatrix and our Advocate, to be our Blessed Mother as He entrusts her to Saint John the Evangelist, whose fidelity to Our Lord on this day is meant to foreshadow our own fidelity by means of assisting at daily Mass frequently and of persevering until the point of our dying breaths in states of Sanctifying Grace by remaining a as close to Our Lady as he was.

Will we repay Our Divine Redeemer Who was nailed to the Cross this day with a true effort to amend our lives? Will we repay Our Divine Redeemer Who shed every single drop of His Most Precious Blood this day with a greater effort to take seriously our consecration to His Most Sacred Heart through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary? Will we seek to live at all times in light of First and Last Things as we bear our own crosses with love and joy and gratitude?

Our Lady stands ready to help us to bring us to Calvary every day. Sure, we must make the same kind of effort as Saint Helena made to find the site of the True Cross in the Fourth Century as the Mass has indeed been taken away by spiritual robber barons. However, Our Lady does indeed stand ready to help us to make whatever sacrifices we need to make to assist exclusively at Masses offered by true bishops and true priests who make no concessions to conciliarism or to the nonexistent legitimacy of its false shepherds who cater to the ancient enemies of the Faith and who promote one falsehood after another.

Will we let Our Lady lead us to these true offerings of Holy Mass so that we can be ready to die at any time and thus to enjoy an unending Easter Sunday of glory in Heaven?

May we give thanks and praise to Our Lord through His Blessed Mother's Immaculate Heart this day for the wondrous mystery of His love that has made possible our eternal salvation.

Opposing the Cross With False Toleration

Yes, another unexpected original article. This one deals with an affront to the Cross of the Divine Redeemer given by Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, who is promoting the utter madness of "toleration" and "mutual respect" among "believers" as his prayer intention for the month of April. There is material from the Venerable Mary of Agreda's The Mystical City of God that speaks very directly to this sort of madness. Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

Maundy Thursday Articles

Revised: Novi et Aeterni Testamenti

Today is Maundy Thursday, the day on which Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ instituted the Holy Priesthood and the Eucharist at the Last Supper for our sanctification and salvation. Although Our Lord would enter deep into His Passion immediately after the completion of the Last Supper as He suffered His Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, He wonderfully gave us the Holy Priesthood of the New Dispensation as He instituted the New and Eternal Covenant that He would ratify by the shedding of every single drop of His Most Precious Blood on the wood of the Holy Cross tomorrow, Good Friday. We must express our gratitude to Him at all times for giving us the Priesthood so that we can have access on a daily basis to His own Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in Holy Communion, made present for us on altars of Sacrifice by true bishops and true priests in this time of apostasy and betrayal

This is a day to keep watch with Our Lord in His Real Presence at the Altar of Repose, remembering most importantly to beg Our Lady to make more and more voluntary sacrifices to make reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of her Divine Son through her own Immaculate Heart for our sins and those of the whole world.

"My Heart is Ready, O Lord"

Keep writing, keep writing. That's what several readers wrote to me in the past few days. Thus it is that while I will be doing some writing in coming days that won't be posted on this site until after Easter that I decided to compose another brief reflection on the love of the Cross that should characterize every moment of our lives. Are our hearts ready to enter into the Sacred Mysteries of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's Passion, Death, and Resurrection? Are our hearts ready? Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

Republished: Enter the Passion

This is an article written two years ago, to provide a bit of reflection on the sufferings of Our Lord as He entered into His Passion after having instituted the Holy Priesthood and the Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper.

Five Years Later

This is, as promised, a retrospective on the court-ordered execution of Mrs. Theresa Marie Schindler-Schiavo, a brain-damaged human being who was no closer to death than anyone of us, by the cruel process of starvation and dehydration. As one who wrote extensively on the killing of this innocent human being and who spoke at a rally directly across from the hospice where her death sentence would be carried out six days later, it is saddening--so very saddening--to have review the facts of Mrs. Schiavo's case. It is also very sad to have that Catholics have to be reminded of the simple moral truth that no one may undertake any action that has as its only direct end the death of an innocent human being. The removal of the provision of food and water from a living human being can result in only one possible end, the death of that person, something that can never be willed for one who is innocent. Why is it so difficult to recognize that the two of the Corporal Works of Mercy are to "feed the hungry" and to "give drink to the thirsty"? Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Eternal rest grant unto the soul of Terri Schiavo, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

An alert reader has caught an important typographical error in this new article. I typed in the word "intended" when I meant to write the word "unintended." I apologize for this error. Here is the corrected passage, which has been included in a revised version of the article:

4.2) As I have written on many occasions, one may not be required to use ventilator to sustain his body's involuntary function of breathing. Decisions to use or to continue extraordinary means, which are to be outlined in durable power of attorney forms and not in the death warrants that are called, most euphemistically, as "living wills" (see an article by Miss Mary Therese Helmueller, on the danger of living wills, Are You Being Targeted For Euthanasia?), depend upon a variety of circumstances. Such decisions involve what is known as the principle of the "double-fold effect," that is, that a morally licit action is undertaken that might result in a foreseen but unintended consequence that is not directly willed as the first end of the morally licit action.

I am very sorry for this typographical error, and I thank the alert reader for his pointing this out to me!

This will be the last original article on this site until Easter Monday. I will have home page updates each day during the Paschal Triduum and revised articles for Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. There should be, God willing and Our Lady interceding, another full slate of articles next week.

May we keep Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ company in these days of His betrayal, Passion, Death and Resurrection by keeping close to His Most Blessed Mother, Who will make sure that will be on the "right" side of the Cross this Paschal Triduum so that we can remain there for the rest of our lives as we give Our Lord thanks for the love He showed to us by doing the will of His Heavenly Father in redeeming us and as we make reparation for what we caused Him to suffer in these days of grace nearly two millennia go now.

Mocking Christ the King Anew in Holy Week

Just another article to defend the Social Kingship of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to refute an apologist for Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict's endorsement of the "separation of Church and State" as expressing the teaching of Our Lord Himself. Go tell that to our true popes who condemned the separation of Church and State and reiterated the simple truth that the civil state has a positive obligation to recognize the Catholic Church and to accord her the favor and the protection of the law as the common temporal good is pursued in light of man's Last End, the possession of the glory of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost for all eternity in Heaven. Our Lad of the Rosary, pray for us.

There should be one or two new articles posted by tomorrow morning, including one on the fifth anniversary of the cruel death by dehydration and starvation of Mrs. Theresa Marie Schindler-Schiavo. Over thirty articles were published on this site about her case in early-2005, each of which was then printed in Restoring Christ as the King of All Nations. While I know now that I was wrong to cite conciliar sources to condemn the categorization of food and water as medical "treatment" when they are, no matter how administered, ordinary care given to a living human being, I stand by the simple moral truth that it is never permissible to undertake any action that has at its only direct end the death of a living human being. A fifth anniversary retrospective will thus be published by tomorrow morning, Spy Wednesday, March 31, 2010.

There will be a hiatus from new articles after tomorrow until Easter Monday, April 5, 2010. Holy Week reflections were republished on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Reflections on Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday will be republished on those respective days.

Hubris All Over the Map

Very few people are reading these articles. This is not a complaint. Just a statement of fact, accepted as coming from the loving hand of God for His greater honor and glory and my own humiliation, which is much needed. The question remains, however: will you read this new article? What's it about? You'll have to find out for yourselves. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

When Boys Will Be Boys They Grow Up to Be Men Like Joe Biden

Today is Palm Sunday, the first full day of Holy Week, which began with First Vespers last evening, Saturday, March 27, 2010. The crowd welcomed Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ with great joy on this day in the year 33 A.D. Most of those who were in that crowd reviled him just five days later, a simile for how long one can expect to have the approval of the crowd.

Our Lord, of course, did not come to seek the approval of the crowd. He accepted it on Palm Sunday as His Public Ministry was coming to an end, knowing that He would suffer the insults and the blows and the spittle of many of those same people during His fearful Passion and Death. Christ the King was hailed and reviled within the space of but five days. Our Lord entered Jerusalem this day to begin this week of weeks that would see Him institute the Holy Priesthood and the Holy Eucharist for our sanctification and salvation, to suffer His Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, to be abandoned by all but one of His Apostles as He hung on the gibbet of the Holy Cross to shed every single drop of His Most Precious Blood to redeem us. Through it all, of course, Our Lady was close to Him, suffering in a perfect compassion of heart and soul as He underwent the events for which He became Incarnate in her Virginal and Immaculate Womb by the power of God the Holy Ghost at the Annunciation.

We need to keep close to Our Lord this Holy Week by keeping close to His Most Blessed Mother's Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, praying as many Rosaries each day as our state-in-life permits. We grieve over our sins and we give thanks for the great love shown to us by Our Lord to pay back the debt of our own sins on the wood of the Holy Cross, the great love shown to us by Our Lady as she brought birth us spiritually in great suffering as she saw our sins kill her Divine Son right before her very eyes.

Unlike Vice President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., who is so cavalier in his use of profane language, we want only to issue out of our mouths that which is pleasing to God, making reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary for any times that we might have been as profane as a sixty-eight year old Catholic pro-abort who knows nothing about how to follow Our Divine Redeemer in public life. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint John of Capistrano, pray for us.

A blessed Palm Sunday to you all.

There should be another original article tomorrow, Monday in Holy Week, March 29, 2010.

Republished: Images to Last For An Eternity

Many of the conciliar revolutionaries have smashed statues of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and Our Lady and Saint Joseph and other saints with an iconoclastic abandon. The great saint we celebrate today, Saint John Damascene, fought the iconoclasts in his day. And while many, although far from all, of our Catholic churches are now in the hands of the conciliar iconoclasts, we can festoon our homes with images of Our Lord and Our Lady and Saint Joseph and other saints as we use these images to remind us of we are united to the saints represented in these images by means of the Communion of Saints and that we hope to share Heaven with them for all eternity in the glory of the Beatific Vision.

Today is, of course, our daughter Lucy's eighth birthday and the second anniversary of her First Holy Communion. Please pray for her. Thank you.

Yesterday's original article, Swinging Clubs To Protect The Club, has been revised in two places.

Holy Week Reflections:

From Eden to the Empty Tomb, written for the printed pages of Christ or Chaos in 1997 and revised a bit over the years, is a review of salvation history from Special Creation to Palm Sunday (I've broken up the reflections on the Paschal Triduum and elaborated on these over the years):

Novi et Aeterni Testamenti, a reflection for Maundy Thursday.

Enter the Passion, a reflection written last year for the night of Holy Thursday and the early morning hours of Good Friday.

The Most Solemn Day of the Year, a revised version of a Good Friday reflection that I wrote in 2004.

Revised: Our Mother of Sorrows, 2010

Unfathomable. Just unfathomable

Only a handful of genuine mystics and truly gifted spiritual masters have been able to comprehend the unfathomable mysteries of grief that overwhelmed the fairest creature of our race, Our Lady, as those Seven Swords of Sorrow were plunged through and through her Immaculate Heart.

We sin so casually, so thoughtlessly, so repeatedly, rarely giving a moment's worth of a meditation to how our least Venial Sins caused Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to suffer unspeakable horrors during His Passion and Death, horrors that penetrated the Immaculate Heart of His Most Blessed Mother as she, conceived without any stain of Original or Actual Sin, suffered in a perfect communion of Hearts with Him.

It cannot be that way with us from this day forward. We are on the cusp of Holy Week, ending now the first week in Passiontide, Passion Week. We must enter deep into the mysteries of our salvation, which was wrought for us by the perfect obedience of the Word made Flesh in Our Lady's Virginal and Immaculate Womb to the Will of His Co-Equal and Co-Eternal Father. We must quit our sins once and for all, recognizing how they caused the God-Man and His Most Blessed Mother to suffer, how they wound our own souls, which have been purchased by the shedding of every single drop of the Divine Redeemer's Most Precious Blood, and how they have brought great sorrow into the Heart out of which was formed Our Redeemer's Most Sacred Heart. No more sin. No more joking about sin. No more dismissiveness about the gravity of sin. We must repent and amend our lives as the consecrated slaves of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Our Lady brought forth her Divine Son painlessly and miraculously. She brought us forth in great pain as the adopted children of the Living God as she stood so valiantly by the foot of the Cross on Good Friday. She stands by the foot of her Divine Son's Most Holy Cross in every true offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass by a true bishop or a true priest. We must stand by her each day at Holy Mass as we make reparation for our sins and those of the whole world with every beat of our hearts, making sure as well to pray as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit.

Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

Swinging Clubs To Protect The Club

Another article dealing with how the "bishops" of the counterfeit church of conciliarism have used clubs to beat away the sheep to protect their own clerical club in light of the scandals have arisen as a result of the promotion of perversity within their own ranks. May God have mercy on us all. Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

Republished: Et Verbum Caro Factum Est

This is a brief reflection on the feast we celebrate today, the feast which signifies the moment when the Second Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, the very Word through Whom all things were made, personally entered into human history as He was made Incarnate in the Virginal and Immaculate Womb of His Most Blessed Mother by the power of the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, Who overshadowed Our Lady after she had given her perfect Fiat to the Will of the First Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Father, as that Will was made known to her by Saint Gabriel the Archangel. The whole of human history is changed today--and no one can remain neutral about what happened on this day.

If the Second Person of the Most Blessed Trinity really did become Man this day in Our Lady's Virginal and Immaculate Womb so as to redeem us on the wood of the Holy Cross thirty-three years later, as we know is indeed the case, then every person and every nation on the face of this earth must acknowledge this fact and subordinate everything to the Deposit of Faith that He has entrusted exclusively to His Catholic Church for Its eternal safekeeping and infallible explication. We must pray to Our Lady every day so that we will never lose sight of the centrality of the Incarnation in our own lives and in the lives of our nations, never lose sight of the fact that Holy Mass itself is Incarnational as the Word Who was made Incarnate in her Virginal and Immaculate Womb is made Incarnate on altars of sacrifice under the appearances of bread and wine by true bishops and true priests.

Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ spent nine months in the tabernacle of Our Lady's Virginal and Immaculate Womb, thereby sanctifying the wombs of al mothers. He is in solidarity with every child in every mother's womb. Every abortion, whether by chemical or surgical means, is an indirect attack on the Incarnation that took place this very day.

A blessed Feast of the Annunciation of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to His Most Blessed Mother by Saint Gabriel the Archangel to you all.

Today is also the first anniversary of the death of Mrs. Rosemary Dolan, the mother of His Excellency Bishop Daniel Dolan. We pray for Mrs. Dolan's immortal soul every day in the Memento for the Dead in the Canon of the Mass. Please join us in remembering her immortal soul on this first anniversary of her death, praying also, of course, for Bishop Dolan and the rest of the Dolan family on this day of her entrance into eternity. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

You Think We've Got Problems Now...

This is just a very brief reflection to remind readers on this feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary that Our Lord took Flesh in His Most Blessed Mother's Virginal and Immaculate Womb this day to make it possible for us to get home to Heaven as members of His true Church, the Catholic Church. And the path to get home to Heaven by patiently enduring the crosses that are sent our way for God's greater honor and glory and our sanctification through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Everyone in Heaven suffered to get there. It can be no different for us! Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Never Give In To Compromise

The late Father Paul Marx, O.S.B., did not see that conciliarism was itself a compromise and corruption of the Catholic Faith. He did nevertheless understand that there could be no compromise whatsoever in taking a firm stand in defense of the inviolability of all innocent human life. It is conciliarism's corruption of the Faith that has made the "decriminalization" of abortion that much more possible and that much more accepted by ordinary Catholics who are as of yet attached to the structures of its false church and its leaders who so readily commit sacrileges against the honor and glory and majesty of the Most Blessed Trinity. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Gabriel the Archangel, pray for us.

A reader sent me the following files, 2010-03-22_List of Appearances and 2010-03-22_Summary with Sentence, concerning the sentencing of Bishop Dennis McCormack following a guilty plea that he entered in December for engaging in the same kind of crime that has made so many "bishops" and priests and presbyters in the conciliar structures so infamous. It is always tragic when one commits such a public crime no matter whether the perpetrator is a member of the Novus Ordo structures or is in the Catholic catacombs.

We can only pray that Bishop McCormack's humility in pleading guilty to his crime, which was video recorded, will be followed by a decision after he has served his sentence to retire to a monastery to pray for the rest of his life as it would be as wrong of him to resume any kind of "public ministry" (or internet commentaries) as it is for a priest or presbyter in the Novus Ordo structures to do so. Our Lady of Good Counsel, pray for us.

Finally, Sharon remarked yesterday after we had checked our empty post office box, which has been really empty in the past few weeks, "People must have given us up for Lent!" I responded, "No, I think that some people have given us up for good!" If you haven't given us up for Lent or for good, it would sure be helpful  to drop check for anywhere from two to five dollars (which are non-tax-deductible financial gifts) , if not a little more, in the mail to us if you have the means to do so. Thank you.

Front Men For The New World Order

ObamaCare was approved last night, Passion Sunday, of all things, by the United States House of Representatives by  vote of 219-212. I have written on this subject in the past. I will probably do so again. May God have mercy on us as figures of Antichrist, both in the world and in the counterfeit church of conciliarism, serve as front men for the New World Order. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. Saint Isidore the Farmer, pray for us.

Passion Sunday Republished Article and Brief Reflection on the Life and Work of the late +Father Paul Marx, O.S.B.

Revised: To Forgive As We Are Forgiven, 2010

One of the recurring themes in my writing is the obligation each of us has as a Catholic to forgive others as we have been forgiven so freely and so readily by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ acting through an alter Christus in the Sacred Tribunal Penance. There is nothing that anyone can do to us, say about us or cause us to suffer, whether emotionally or physically, that is the equal of what one of our least Venial Sins caused the God-Man to suffer in His Sacred Humanity during His Passion and Death as the Fourth through Seven Swords of Sorrow pierced the Immaculate Heart of His Most Blessed Mother. If He forgives us recidivist sinners, steeped in the spiritual mediocrity of lukewarmness, so readily and so frequently, who are we to hesitate for a moment to forgive others anything and everything, whether real or imagined or exaggerated, that they have have said about us or done to us?

Our Lord entered His Passion so as to redeem us and thus to make it possible for us to know His forgiveness, first in the Baptismal font and then in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance (and, for our Venial Sins, every time a priest administers Absolution following the recitation of the Confiteor in the offering of Holy Mass). We must make good use of this Passiontide to be more forgiving.

As a sinner who has been forgive much in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance, I have no energy at all (Deo gratias!) for nursing petty grudges and stewing in my juices about the judgments of others. Our sins imposed an unjust judgment on God in the very Flesh. It is good for us to suffer humiliation and rejection and calumny and scorn and derision. Very good for us. The more we suffer with love and gratitude is the more that we can unite ourselves to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. And even if we are the victims of real injustices and calumnies, so what? So what? Everything gets revealed on the Last Day at the General Judgment of the Living and the Dead. Each of the just will be reconciled one to the other at that time. That happy reconciliation then can only take place, however, if we forgive others from our hearts in the here and now of this passing, mortal vale of tears!

Let's make this the best Passiontide of our lives, grateful to Almighty God that He has brought us to the beginning of yet another Passiontide, uncertain though we may be as to we will live to see Easter Sunday in this passing, mortal vale of tears just two weeks from now.

News reached me early last evening of the death of Father Paul Marx, O.S.B., the long-suffering founder of Human Life International who suffered much at the hands of his own Benedictines and even more terribly from some of those whose he had appointed to his own board of directors. Although Father Marx remained in the conciliar structures, he was a zealous foe of the American "bishops" and denounced their efforts to undermine the purity and innocence of the young by means of explicit instruction in matters pertaining to the Sixth and Ninth Commandments. (My earlier posting that Father Marx had died in Washington, D.C., was erroneous, based on a misreading of a forward e-mail, which has been sent from a longtime associate of Father Marx's who was at the anti-ObamaCare rally. My apologies for the confusion and misinformation.)

Father Marx was an indefatigable opponent of abortion who did much to save the lives of many innocent babies. He also opposed contraception, stressing the fact that "most contraceptives abort, and most contraceptives abort most of the time." He was hated by pro-abortion groups. Hated. He was able to pierce through their lies and sophisms with razor-sharp logic and with a laundry list of indisputable facts that made the devil's minions cringe in horror.

As a sociologist, Father Marx saw that the trends caused by the use of contraception and abortion in Europe would result in the triumph of Mohammedanism there by the middle of this current century, saying at the Christian Law Conference in El Paso, Texas, on November 20, 1993, that there would be no more indigenous Germans by the year 2050 if current population trends continued unabated. "I am of German descent," he noted. "You may or may think that the elimination of the German population in sixty years is a good thing."

Father Marx, who first came to my attention in 1980 when The Wanderer ran a series of articles about his being denied access to his own files by the Benedictine monastery in Collegeville, Minnesota, had a magnificent sense of humor, providing facts from memory in a rapid-fire manner that held his audiences absolutely spell-bound. I was privileged to have been featured as a speaker with him on several occasions in the 1990s. He also saw fit now and again to drop me a line in response to one of my articles in The Wanderer, and I made sure to provide him with a complimentary copy of Christ or Chaos when the printed journal made its initial appearance in September of 1996.

Father Marx suffered also at the ends of the conciliar "bishops." The now retired conciliar "archbishop" of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Harry Flynn, had a factotum denounce Father Marx at the Basilica of Saint Paul in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in April of 1997 for remarks in his autobiography deemed to be offensive to adherents of the Talmud, whom Father Marx rightly identified as the chief purveyors of surgical abortion in the United States of America and the world. And although Father Marx remained an enthusiast of the conciliar "popes" (so was I, well, at least insofar as Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II was concerned, having had little enthusiasm for John XXIII or Paul VI), he did try to defend the Faith as best he knew how and was thoroughly hated for doing so my many of the American 'bishops," some of whom called him a "bishop-basher."

I did not always agree with Father Marx, especially on matters of practical politics. We agreed to disagree on that and other issues, always doing so amiably. I am very grateful, however, to Our Lord and Our Lady for having known him and profited by his expertise in so many areas, grateful also that when I was speaking in August of 2003 at the truly underground chapel where the late Father Lawrence Brey offered Mass in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, that he had taken the time to ask a person who goes that chapel to be remembered to me.

Please pray for the repose of the immortal soul of Father Paul Marx, O.S.B., who was eighty-nine at the time of his death and would have turned ninety years of age later this year.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Prayers are also requested for the repose of the soul of Mr. Kenneth "Coach" Strain, a parishioner of Mary Immaculate Queen Church in Rathdrum, Idaho, who was the paternal grandfather of a reader of this site, Mr. Kevin Strain, whose mother is the sister of Fathers Benedict and Brendan Hughes, CMRI. We hereby express our condolences to the family of Mr. Kenneth "Coach" Strain, assuring them of our prayers for his soul and for their own needs at this time. Mr. Kenneth Strain's grandson, Kevin Strain, was able to serve his Requiem Mass, which was offered by Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, yesterday morning, Saturday, March 20, 2010.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

I had hoped to have another original article posted today. Alas, I am just too tired. I will have a postscript on ObamaCare, which will be passed today at some point. Imagine this: holding a legislative vote to kill babies and to start the process of socialized medicine in the United States of America on a Sunday, no less Passion Sunday. I also intend to write a reflection on Saint Benedict, who is, of course, commemorated today in the Sacred Liturgy.

Do not fear, my good and few readers. Christ the King will triumph in the end as the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is made manifest as the fruit of the fulfillment of her Fatima Message. The devil's victories now are fleeting. Go to Our Lady. Go to Saint Joseph. Keep praying those Rosaries.

Finally, yesterday's second article, Always Evading Root Causes, has been tweaked in several places, incorporating the suggestion made by a reader.

March 20 Articles, including afternoon posting on Ratzinger/Benedict's pastoral letter to the Catholics of Ireland

Always Evading Root Causes

This is a brief commentary dealing with the pastoral letter sent by Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI to the Catholics of Ireland who are attached to the structures of his counterfeit church of concilairism. Once again, of course, the false "pontiff" focuses on the symptoms of the problem, refusing to admit that the very ethos of concilairism itself has fostered an atmosphere wherein men who are sympathetic to, if not active in, the worldwide agenda of those steeped in perversity is at the root of the scandals that are causing so many people, Catholics and non-Catholics alike, to turn away from what they think is the Catholic Church. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.

Longer Than World War II

This is yet another article reviewing the moral, geopolitical, military, economic and social catastrophe representation by the unjust, immoral, unconstitutional invasion and occupation of Iraq that began seven years ago this very day, that is, on March 20, 2003. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!

The next article on this site will review Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI's letter to the conciliar "bishops" of Ireland that will be released by the Press Office of the Holy See at noon, Rome time. The article after that will discuss the consequences of what appears will be the passage of ObamaCare. I would like to ask, yes again, an intrepid reader or two to consider sending Kill Truth, Kill Babies and Salvation Or Votes? to members of the United States House of Representatives prior to the vote tomorrow. What do we have to lose? Perhaps a soul or two might be helped. Remember, we are living through a chastisement the likes of which we have not even seen the beginning of the beginning, which is why we need to pray as many Rosaries each day as our state-in-life permits.

Republished: Our Friend and Protector: Saint Joseph

Today, of course, is the great Feast of Saint Joseph, the Spouse of Our Lady, the just and silent man of the House of David.

Saint Joseph denied himself his biological fatherhood in order to serve as the ever-virginal spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the most loving foster-father to Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. In him, Saint Joseph, is to be found every virtue for a husband and father to imitate: patience, charity, forbearance in all difficulties, fortitude, perseverance, temperance, and total self-abnegation. Those of us who are husbands and fathers must learn to be more silent, to learn to be more loving, to learn to be more patient, to learn to be more meek, to learn to be ever-ready to worker harder and harder at our life's work so as to help our wives and our children to live as redeemed creatures here below in order to know eternal happiness hereafter.

Saint Joseph is the model of home life and the patron of artisans, the protector of widows and orphans, the patron of those who are in danger of death. May we invoke his patronage each day after we invoke that of his Most Chaste Spouse, Our Lady, and never be slow to turn to him in our spiritual and temporal needs:

O Saint Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in thee all my interests and desires. O thou Saint Joseph, do assist me by thy powerful intercession, and obtain for me from thy divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; so that, having engaged here below thy heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of fathers. O Saint Joseph, I never weary contemplating thee, and Jesus asleep in thy arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near thy heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. Saint Joseph, Patron of departing souls, pray for me. Amen!

The new article for today, Losing Everything to Gain God, also focuses on our Good Saint Joseph.

A blessed Feast of Saint Joseph to you all!

Of Worldwide Scope

Another brief reflection on the imbroglio that Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI and his brother German "bishops" in the counterfeit church of conciliarism find themselves in at the present time. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Joseph, pray for us.

Today, March 18, 2010, is the twenty-eighth anniversary of my mother's death. Norma Florence Red Fox Droleskey (born as Maxine Coomer in Kansas City, Missouri, on March 6, 1921, and then adopted with her twin brother, who died in infancy, by a vaudevillian Sioux Indian chieftain, William Red Fox) died of stomach and esophageal cancer, which had been diagnosed just forty-one days before, at the then named Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, at 9:20 p.m., Central Standard Time, on March 18, 1982. Please pray for the repose of my late mother's immortal soul. Where has the time gone? Twenty-eight years?

Today is also the third anniversary of the deaths of the late Father Daniel Johnson, that intrepid lover of souls who brought 554 people into the Church during the twenty-five years of his pastorate at St. Mary's by the Sea Church in Huntington Beach, California. Today is also the second anniversary of the death of Mrs. Theresa Colgan, the mother of our friend (and my former student at Saint Francis College in Brooklyn, New York, during the 1985-1986 academic year) former Lieutenant Spencer Colgan, NYPD (retired). Please pray for their souls as well.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and all of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

There should be an original article for tomorrow, the Feast of Saint Joseph, in addition to a republished article on the Chaste Spouse of Our Lady and the foster-father of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ upon whom we must rely so tenderly every day of our lives.

March 17 Articles

Republished: Saint Patrick and the "C" Word

Today is the feast of Saint Patrick, the Apostle of Ireland. A blessed Saint Patrick's Day to you all, especially those of you who are of Irish descent (as are my wife and, on her mother's side, our daughter).

Saint Patrick was sent to convert the pagans of the Emerald Isle by Pope Saint Celestine I. Saint Patrick did not engage in "inter-religious dialogue." He sought to convert the Druid chieftains so as to effect the conversion of their followers. The land of pagan debauchery became the Island of Saints.

Alas, the Island of Saints has returned in large measure to its pagan roots. The counterfeit church of conciliarism, which rejects "proselytism" in most instances, has deprived the people of Ireland of Sanctifying Grace. We must pray to Saint Patrick each day for our own conversion as well as for the conversion of the conciliar revolutionaries who are so responsible for the corruption of the Holy Faith and for leading a Catholic land such as Ireland back into the debauchery from whence he, Saint Patrick, converted it. Saint Patrick, pray for us, pray for Ireland, pray for all of those of Irish descent. Our Lady of Knock, pray for us.

Salvation Or Votes?

Just another article on ObamaCare. Although some of the quotations in this article were used two days ago in Kill Truth, Kill Babies, this article has been undertaken with a view to reaching perhaps one of the wavering "pro-life" Democrats in the United States House of Representatives to convince that one legislator to stand firm in opposition to ObamaCare. I am counting on the few readers of this site to send this article to a few of those wavering House Democrats as they are the only ones who can, humanly speaking, stop ObamaCare from being becoming law. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Finally, I ask for prayers for various intentions, staring with Sharon's Uncle Ben Collins, who in in a nursing home in Florida and was given the Sacrament of Extreme Unction yesterday by Father James Thielen. Sharon's uncle is two years younger than his late brother, John Griffith Collins III, Sharon's father. We thank Father Thielen for his going down to Florida to attend to Sharon's uncle's immortal soul and ask your prayers for him at this time.

I ask you also the remember the birthdays of several people who have been in my acquaintance over the years who a are celebrating their birthdays this week and next. One of these is a schoolmate of mine from parochial school on Long Island who turned fifty-nine  years of age yesterday. Another is one of those many people who think us daft for having embraced sedevacantism, a man in the conciliar structures who turned fifty years of age yesterday. A high school classmate from Oyster Bay High School turns fifty-nine on March 21, a young man for whom I served as his sponsor at what I thought was his Confirmation in 1991 turns thirty-two on March 22, and the eldest daughter of my eldest first cousin, who turned sixty-six on March 4, turns thirty-seven on March 23. Got all of that? I would appreciate your prayers for each of these people, especially that those who are not Catholic will convert to the Faith before they die. Thank you.

March 15 Articles, including late afternoon entry

Kill Truth, Kill Babies

Another brief article on ObamaCare.

Some have queried me as to why two articles "popped" up on Saturday and Sunday after I wrote three days ago to expect the next article today? Well, I thought I could get what the ancients would call by the name "rest." Events intervened. Thus the articles. No mystery. As a former priest-friend of ours now in the Society of Saint Pius X used to say to us, "It's rest in peace, not before."

Unity Among Lutherans

Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI visited the Lutheran church in Rome yesterday, Laetare Sunday. Just par of the apostate course of conciliarism, which is why we don't need bogus information about conciliar travesties was included erroneously in the first posting of Pressing the Mute Button nearly two months ago, and for which I hereby apologize. We don't need bogus information when the false "pontiff" does things like he did yesterday so openly, so repeatedly, so unaware as to how he offends God and deceives souls. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Please do read the update below on the fund-raising drive for the possible new home of the Confraternity of Saint Albert the Great.

March 14 Article and Update on the Future Home of the Confraternity of Saint Albert the Great

Without Precedent

Well, it's Laetare Sunday in Europe and Asia and Australia. It will be Laetare Sunday here in the Untied States of America in a few hours (make sure to set your clocks ahead one hour if you don't live in Arizona or Hawaii or Puerto Rico, Guam, or the Virgin Islands). Lent is half over. Easter Sunday is but three weeks away, bringing with it a glorious fifty days of celebration after our forty days' journey in the desert of Lent. One day, of course, our Lenten journey of life itself will be over. And perhaps it will be the case that we will, solely by the graces won for us by Our Lord on the wood of the Holy Cross and that are sent to us through the loving hands of His Most Blessed Mother, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces, we will have planted a few seeds for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of that same Blessed Mother, thus signifying the defeat of the forces responsible for the blasphemous outrage chronicled in this new article.

A New Home for the Confraternity of Saint Albert the Great: Although it most evident from the small numbers of people who respond to appeals to support the work of this site that I am a terrible fund-raiser, one of the worst ever, I do hope that some of you, especially those of who with considerable means at your disposal, will go to the St. Albert the Great website and click on A New Home For St. Albert's? for information as to how to support the purchase of what would serve as an excellent home for the Confraternity of Saint Albert the Great. There is a Pledge Form for those interested in supporting this purchase with their financial gifts to do so. Although, yes, we are always in need of your assistance, I do urge those who have the means to support the purchase of this excellent facility in Fairfield, Ohio, for the Confraternity of Saint Albert the Great. Thank you for any consideration that you can give to this request. Pledges need to be made by Palm Sunday, March 28, 2010.

A blessed Laetare Sunday to you all!

Waterloo For Benedict?

Waterloo for Benedict? No, probably not. However, it is very interesting to watch the conciliar wagons circle around the false "pontiff" to seek to hold him harmless for the transfer of a perverted priest in Germany from the Diocese of Essen when he was the conciliar "archbishop" of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising between 1977 and 1982--and to claim that he knew nothing about the transfers of other such clergy elsewhere in Germany. It's all the fault of the anti-Catholic reporters in the secular media, something that Tarcisio "Cardinal" Bertone claimed about the scandals in the United States of American when he visited here in 2007 (see Enemies of Souls Universally). It can't be that many of the lords of the counterfeit church of conciliarism have actually fostered a liturgical and pastoral environment that promotes and protects the agenda of perversity? Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

As I noted yesterday, there was the possibility of a new article popping up today. One might pop up tomorrow or Monday presuming that it is God's Holy Will to live until then. One never knows. One must be prepared at all times.

Advice To Shepherds, Advice To Us All

This is a brief commentary in honor of Pope Saint Gregory the Great. The textual material posted last evening from Pope Saint Gregory the Great's Book of Pastoral Rule has been incorporated into this article with some commentary on it. This is a very brief article. May we pray to Pope Saint Gregory the Great for the restoration fo a true pope on the Throne of Saint Peter. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Pope Saint Gregory the Great, pray for us.

The next original article to appear on this site may not be posted until Monday, March 15, 2010. Keep checking, though. One might pop up in the meantime.

Blind to Truth, Blind to the Horror of Personal Sin

The Brothers Ratzinger are much in the news these days. It is amazing how tone-deaf both of these men are in light of reports of the serious physical and moral abuse of children. Want to read more? Here's the article.

There is a new mission that has been started for the Catholics in Milwaukee who have been expelled from Saint Hugh of Lincoln Church and for others who no longer wish to be associated with cultist activities. The St. Martin of Tours Mission contains an excellent synopsis of the attitude prevalent among some bishops and priests that had to be discussed in eight articles on this site in the past four months. Please pray for the Catholics of St. Martin of Tours Mission.

March 10 Article

Short And To The Catholic Point

In the midst of writing another article, one about the follies of the Brothers Ratzinger, men who are incapable of acting against evils that are right under their very noses as they promote the evils of conciliarism, it came to my attention that William "Cardinal" Levada, fresh off of his visit to Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary in Denton, Nebraska, that was the subject of yesterday's commentary, gave a lecture at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, last Saturday, March 6, 2010, that deserves a bit of attention. The article is relatively short and to the Catholic point. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

The St. Martin of Tours Mission contains an excellent synopsis of the attitude prevalent among some bishops and priests that had to be discussed in eight articles on this site in the past four months. Please pray for the Catholics of St. Martin of Tours Mission. (I do not link indiscriminately to other sites. I have had to reject efforts by many people who I do not know to link to their sites. As I am going to be held accountable to God when I die for my actions, I have been very cautious in linking only to those sites I trust. My decisions in this regard are mine and mine alone. I really don't want to heap any more coals on top of my head than I deserve already for my sins.)

Look for that Brothers Ratzinger article at some point tomorrow, Thursday, March 11, 2010.

Words Really Do Matter

Ho-hum. Yawn. William "Cardinal" Levada, the prefect of the conciliar Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, has visited the United States of America to preside at the dedication of a revamped chapel at Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary in Denton, Nebraska.

The red carpet was indeed rolled out for a Modernist, whose words on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, have caused shocked waves among some traditionally-minded Catholics who are attached to the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism. These waves of shock are entirely self-made. "Cardinal" Levada said nothing last week that Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI has not said in the past, including in his Explanatory Letter that accompanied Summorum Pontificum, July 7, 2007. Words really do matter. The failure of many to take seriously the false "pontiff's" words nearly three years ago is coming back to haunt them rather badly at this time, unless, of course, the whole fight for "tradition" in the indult/Motu world has been about incorporating more and more elements of the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo worship service in the modernized version of the Immemorial Mass of Tradition that was promulgated by Angelo Roncalli/John XXIII in 1961 and 1962. Is that what the fights have been about over the past four decades? To simply get to the point of a more sober and "reverent" offering of the Novus Ordo? Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. Saint Frances of Rome, pray for us.

Understood By God Alone

This article is in honor of Saint John of God, whose feast is celebrated today. Saint John of God was little understood during his life. It was the case that even his longtime spiritual director, Saint John of Avila, who knew him fairly well, did not understand his decisions. Saint John of God suffered from all manner of slanders and even beatings in his life. He suffered slanders even up to the point of his own death. It was enough for him to be understood by God. It should be enough for us as well. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint John of God, pray for us.

Please continue to pray for the repose of the soul of Mrs. Jennie Fama, whose Solemn High Requiem Mass will be offered by His Excellency Bishop Robert F. McKenna, O.P., in but a few hours at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel in Monroe, Connecticut. Please pray also for the needs of her late husband, Mr. Salvatore Fama, and their children and grandchildren and other relatives. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

This will be a busy week for articles. Much is going on at the conciliar Vatican. ObamaCare is back upon us again. Stay tuned.

Pillar and Champion of Catholic Truth

Today is the Third Sunday of Lent. It is also the Commemoration of Saint Thomas Aquinas, the Angelic Doctor whose Scholastic method is so despised by Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI. As the true popes themselves have taught us, no one who rejects the teaching and method of Saint Thomas Aquinas can ever be free from the suspicion of error. May this ardent lover of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's Real Presence in the Most Blessed Sacrament and such a devoted client of the Mother of God, especially by means of her Most Holy Rosary, help us to reject the ways of Modernism fostered by the false "pontiff" at the present time, helping us by so doing to save our souls as we cling only to what the Catholic Church teaches and nothing else. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., pray for us.

There should be an article in honor of Saint John of God, whose feast we observe tomorrow, Monday, March 8, 2010.

March 6 Article

Do Tell

Father Gabriel Amorth, a noted exorcist in Rome, has written a memoir that speaks of actual satanism in the Vatican. As my brother was wont to say in his youth when we were growing up together in Great Neck and Oyster Bay Cove, New York, "Do tell." Why wouldn't the devil be worshiped by men who offer an abomination to God every day by means of a false liturgical rite (the Novus Ordo) and who propagate false doctrines and condemned propositions that have their origin with him alone? Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. Saints Perpetua and Felicity, pray for us.

Finally, please do pray for the soul of my late mother, who was born on this date in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1921. She died twelve days after her sixty-first birthday twenty-nine years ago. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Becoming What They Once Opposed

The fall of the powerful Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee of the United States House of Representatives, Charles Bernard Rangel, a Catholic who has maintained his "good standing" in the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism despite his support for baby-killing under cover of the civil law and despite his being a thirty-third degree Freemason, contains some very stark parallels with the legacy left by the man he defeated in a Democratic Party primary forty years ago this year, the late United States Representative Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Rangel has become almost exactly what he opposed in Powell, whose power went to his head over the course of time. We must pray to Our Lady to make sure that we accept humiliation and criticisms in this life so that we do not fall into the same trap as those who are prominent in public life. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Joseph, pray for us.

There should be new articles on each of the next three days.

Refusing To Champion Christ the King

It was about a week ago that Francis "Cardinal" George, the conciliar "archbishop" of Chicago, Illinois, went to make nice-nice with the sect known popularly as the Mormons. It was just three days ago now that "Archbishop" Charles H. Chaput, O.F.M., Cap., of Denver, Colorado, spoke at Houston Baptist University. So much Americanism. So little time. It is Lent, after all, a time of special penance in reparation for our sins. Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us. Saint Casimir, pray for us. Saint Simeon, pray for us.

Finally, I ask your prayers for the repose of the immortal soul of Mrs. Jennie Fama, a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel in Monroe, Connecticut. Her son-in-law, Mr. Ronald Kusterer, informed me this afternoon that she had suffered for some time from cancer. She was a valiant Catholic woman who was always unfailingly pleasant whenever we encountered her. We express our deepest condolences to her family and ask you to keep the needs of her husband, Salvatore Fama, and children and grandchildren, several of whom are Lucy's schoolmates (with whom so has been so happy to be reunited in the past two months), in your prayers as we pray for the repose of this prayerful woman's immortal soul. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Revised: No Rush Hour at Calvary

Although a new article might be poster later today, a recent report in the Belfast Telegraph in Northern Ireland discussed a conciliar presbyter's offering of the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo service in fifteen minutes. This is not news. I attended a Novus Ordo travesty once that was completed in thirteen minutes. Sadly, however, there are even true priests who rush the offering of the Immemorial Mass of Tradition, the one and only true Mass of the Roman Rite of the Catholic Church.

Prefaced by a new set of remarks, this article, published on September 21, 2007, is a reminder that there can never be any "rush hour" at Calvary. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

I want to thank those who have made non-tax-deductible financial gifts to us in the past few days. We very much appreciate the generosity of those who support the work of this site and have the financial wherewithal to be of assistance to us.

March 2 Article and Update

King Juan Carlos, Meet Pope Leo XIII

This very brief article (it happens every once in a while) is a commentary on the absurdity of the Catholic king in Spain, King Juan Carlos, being held harmless by that country's conciliar "bishops" as he will soon have to do his "duty" and sign a bill passed by The Cortes, the Spanish Parliament, that "liberalizes" existing baby-killing laws in the land of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella. The English won more than a naval battle when the forces of the Spanish Armada were defeated on August 8, 1588. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Please do make not of the fact that I have the The Miraculous Novena of Grace in honor of the 388th anniversary of the canonization of Saint Francis Xavier on the Feast of Pope Saint Gregory the Great, March 12, 1622. (Also canonized on that same date were: Saint Ignatius of Loyola, Saint Philip Neri, Saint Teresa of Avila, and Saint Isidore the Farmer, each of whom is a favorite of ours.) This is a very powerful and efficacious novena. I am going to pray it for the needs of Holy Mother Church in this time of apostasy and betrayal. Will you join me? It is prayed between Thursday, March 4 and Friday, March 12

Also, I note to those who send us non-tax-deductible financial gifts, for which we are always so very grateful, that we remember them in our A Novena to Saint John Bosco. I posted this novena nearly four years ago now. I re-highlight it again as we have a great devotion to Saint John Bosco, the father and the teacher of the young. He has helped us quite a lot. I am sure that he will help those of you who choose to pray this novena.

Imagine What A Lost Soul Looks Like To God

The loss of life and the physical devastation that has occurred as a result of the catastrophic earthquake in Peru two days ago are beyond true comprehension. We must be united in our prayers with those who have survived this terrible disaster, praying also for the souls who have perished and those who might be buried under rubble in at this time as they face the possibility of imminent death.

The scenes of devastation are certainly horrific. Taking nothing away from the suffering of those who have been affected by this tragedy, what struck me about the scenes of devastation was what a single lost soul looks like to God. What do our souls look like to God right now, at this very moment?

Let us continue to pray for the the victims of the earthquakes in Chile and in Haiti as we pray to Our Lady so that our souls will never look ugly to God. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

May God have mercy on us in this time of apostasy and betrayal.

Thoughts to Ponder...

"America, it is said, is suffering from intolerance. It is not. It is suffering from tolerance of right and wrong, truth and error, virtue and evil, Christ and chaos. Our country is not nearly so much overrun with the bigoted as it is overrun with the broadminded....

"...In the face of this broadmindedness, what the world needs is intolerance."

(Fulton Sheen's "A Plea for Intolerance," 1931)

Memo to President Obama from Pope Pius XI:

"Those who hold the reins of government should not forget that it is the duty of public authority by appropriate laws and sanctions to defend the lives of the innocent, and this all the more so since those whose lives are endangered and assailed cannot defend themselves. Among whom we must mention in the first place infants hidden in the mother's womb. And if the public magistrates not only do not defend them, but by their laws and ordinances betray them to death at the hands of doctors or of others, let them remember that God is the Judge and Avenger of innocent blood which cried from earth to Heaven." (Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii, December 30, 1930.)

"The whole world is dividing itself into progressives and conservatives. The job of the progressives is to go on making mistakes. The job of the conservatives is to prevent those mistakes from being corrected." Gilbert Keith Chesterton, April 19, 1924

"Know this: it is by very little breaches of regularity that the devil succeeds in introducing the greatest abuses. May you never end up saying: 'This is nothing, this is an exaggeration.'" (Saint Teresa of Avila, Foundations, Chapter Twenty-nine)

"I would give up my life a thousand times, not only for each of the truths of Sacred Scripture, but even more for the least of the ceremonies of the Catholic Church."  (Saint Teresa of Avila, Life, Thirty-three, 3.)
