Figures of Antichrist Applauding Each Other

by Thomas A. Droleskey

The world of delusion and fantasy in which we live, a world whose delusions and fantasies have been created as a result of the Protestant Revolt against the Divine Plan that God Himself instituted to effect man's return to Him through the Catholic Church and further institutionalized and cemented by the rise of naturalistic philosophies associated with the ethos of Judeo-Masonry, is replete with figures of Antichrist, including those in the counterfeit church of conciliarism and in the world, who applaud each other for their sophistic "insights" into the meaning of life and the pursuit of world peace.

We see the figures of Antichrist in the counterfeit church of conciliarism applauding themselves and each other for the "springtime of the Church" in a "civilization of love" as they extol the "blessed fruit" of the "Second" Vatican Council, including that of "inter-religious dialogue," false ecumenism, religious liberty, evolutionism, environmentalism, and the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo service (see Offending God Every Day and Always Our Apostates). The figures of Antichrist in the counterfeit church of conciliarism live in a self-perpetuating world of delusion and fantasy that ignores the devastation of souls their falsehoods and apostasies and sacrileges and blasphemies have wrought, a devastation of souls that has contributed to a worsening of the state of the world as well as emptying the pews of formerly Catholic churches and turning many baptized Catholics into formal pagans or apostates of one stripe or another.

We see figures of Antichrist in a world shaped by the false, naturalistic, anti-Incarnational, religiously indifferentist and semi-Pelagian principles of Modernity applauding themselves and each other for their "contributions" to building the "better" world although they support one moral evil after another in an abject spirit of defiance of the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law as they have been entrusted by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ exclusively for their eternal safekeeping and infallible explication. These figures of Modernity give themselves awards and honors for persisting in the errors that have brought us state regimes, both of the totalitarian and "democratic" varieties, that are responsible for the murder of hundreds of millions of human beings under cover of the civil law and/or during the prosecution of one needless war after another in the past two hundred years.

Thus it is that a man who has issued executive orders that have undermined the cause of genuine peace in the world by facilitating the murder of innocent human beings in their mothers' wombs, Barack Hussein Obama, a man who is incapable of much in the way of coherent speaking unless aided by a TelePrompTer, a man whose speeches are filled with narcissistic self-references, has been awarded the 2009 Nobel Prize for Peace.

The absurdity of this award even on the merely natural level should be obvious to anyone with a modicum of common sense as Caesar Obamus has done nothing that has ended any wars. This is what he is has done on the purely natural level: He has spoken of nuclear disarmament. He has spoken of a "new era of understanding." He has made friendly noises to murderous dictators such as Hugo Chavez and the Castros. He has, much in the manner of Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, praised the ability of Mohammedanism to "contribute" to world "peace" (see Kindred Spirits of the New World Order). And, of course, as noted just above, Obama has issued executive orders that have resulted in the chemical and surgical assassination of innocent preborn children in their mothers' wombs. These are his "accomplishments," which are, to be sure, very pleasing to the devil, who is quite happy that Caesar Obamus has been an active agent of the promotion of sin in the world as sin is what causes men to conflict with one another as they war against God by violating His Commandments.

Yes, indeed, Barack Hussein Obama has done much to promote disorder in souls, thus sowing the seeds for discord among men and their nations. He is deserving of prayers for his conversion to the true Faith. That he has been given the 2009 Nobel Prize for Peace is a manifestation of the spirit of Antichrist that surrounds us at this time: men who who act contrary to the Deposit of Faith that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has revealed to us through His Catholic Church are praised for doing so.

Here is the citation awarding Caesar Obamus the Nobel Prize for Peace for 2009:

The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided that the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009 is to be awarded to President Barack Obama for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples. The Committee has attached special importance to Obama’s vision of and work for a world without nuclear weapons.

Obama has as President created a new climate in international politics. Multilateral diplomacy has regained a central position, with emphasis on the role that the United Nations and other international institutions can play. Dialogue and negotiations are preferred as instruments for resolving even the most difficult international conflicts. The vision of a world free from nuclear arms has powerfully stimulated disarmament and arms control negotiations. Thanks to Obama’s initiative, the United States is now playing a more constructive role in meeting the great climatic challenges the world is confronting. Democracy and human rights are to be strengthened. (In Surprise, Nobel Peace Prize to Obama for Diplomacy)

This is of the essence of the spirit of secular self-redemption that comes straight from Antichrist, whose agents in civil states and supranational organizations will soon be demanding that we defile our bodies with microchips so that we can have the mark of the beast in us at all times. All one needs to do to win plaudits from the lords of Modernity is to sound like a merchant of peace even though one promotes things repugnant to the peace and happiness of prosperity.

There is, of course, a purely natural explanation to the awarding of the Nobel Prize for Peace--and its ten million dollars!--to an intellectual cipher who is in love with himself and the sound his voice and the "power" of his scripted words sent to his eyes by the TelePrompTer. The members of the nomination committee for the Nobel Prize for Peace have had an obsession to express their righteous indignation over the policies of former President George Walker Bush at almost every turn, which is why Jimmy "Ever the Appeaser" Carter got the Nobel Prize for Peace in 2002 and why former Vice President Albert Arnold "Ozone Hole" Gore, Jr., received it two years ago. Obama is seen as the anti-Bush by many of his fellow statists and globalists and Marxists in the world community. More than anything else, you see, this hatred of George Walker Bush and his policies is what is responsible, naturally speaking, for Obama's being awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace in 2009, a prize that has gone to a veritable assortment of Masons and Communists and advocates of the New World Order.

Mind you, I have been one of the most unrelenting critics of George Walker Bush in the past ten years. Far from reviling the former president, however, I pray every day for his conversion to the true Faith. For the plain truth of the matter, unseen for the rabid Bush-haters and rejected by his equally rabid supporters, is that the domestic and international policies, based in the naturalistic myth of "American exceptionalism," of George Walker Bush helped to pave the way for the election of Barack Hussein Obama, a globalist who disparages the legitimate national security interests of the United States of America, as the the failures of the naturalist of the "right" made it more possible for an open and radical naturalist of the "left" to get elected and to take his self-promoting role in the world stage. (For a collection of articles about Bush's policies, see Justice Will Lose No Matter Who Wins, 2000, We Have Learned Nothing, 2004, Y2K's Lesser Evil Has Brought Us Great Evils, Socialism, Straight From Your "Pro-Life" Conservative, We Don't Want to Learn Anything, and From Luther to Bush to Obama). The devil always uses the alleged "lesser evil" in American electoral politics to pave the way for the triumph of greater evils over the course of time. So few people want to learn that this is the case, which is why articles such as Pinning The Tail On The Next Bob Dole continue to be written for the twelve or so people who actually read the articles on this site.

The worldwide mania over the phenomenon of an intellectual cipher whose principal "contribution" to the world stage is that his unmarried father was from the country of Kenya is a sign of the naturalistic madness that is upon us. Barack Hussein Obama was a "community organizer" (read: bully) who clawed his way up through the Cook County Democratic Party machine. He is as full of cliches, although of the "leftist" variety, as was his predecessor, George Walker Bush, and he is as inarticulate and sometimes as incoherent and self-contradictory as Bush without a prepared text. Alas, many people in a world that has lost its way into the grip of the devil by means of the overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King wrought by the Protestant Revolt and the rise of Judeo-Masonry will seek a secular "messiah" upon whom they project all of their hopes that should be placed solely in Christ the King as He has revealed Himself to us through His true Church, the Catholic Church, outside of which there is no salvation and without which there can be no true social order or any chance for authentic peace among nations.

Some have commented that Barack Hussein Obama is being awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace in 2009 for his "potential" to bring "peace" to the world, although the former Prime Minister of Norway, Thorbjorn Jagland, and chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee said that the award was being given for what Obama has done already, causing one to question what could be the considerable effect of the lack of daylight in the winter to the minds of Norwegians:

Thorbjorn Jagland, the chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee and a former prime minister of Norway, said the president had already contributed enough to world diplomacy and international understanding to earn the award.

“We are not awarding the prize for what may happen in the future, but for what he has done in the previous year,” Mr. Jagland said. “We would hope this will enhance what he is trying to do.” (In Surprise, Nobel Peace Prize to Obama for Diplomacy)

Here is a newsflash for Thorbjorn Jagland: no one who promotes that--sin-- which caused the God-Man to suffer in His Sacred Humanity during His Passion and Death and which caused His Most Blessed Mother's Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart to be pierced through and through with Seven Swords of Sorrow can do anything other than to be an instrument of disorder and conflict in the world as such a person is at war with God and His Deposit of Faith. You are "enhancing" a rebellion against God, Mr. Jagland, a rebellion that is founded today in the blood of the innocent preborn and in the thoroughly naturalistic belief that there is any other path to world peace than that which runs through the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the conversion of men and their nations to the Catholic Church.

Barack Hussein Obama can do nothing to promote justice at home or peace abroad until and unless he converts to the Catholic Faith and starts to make reparation for his own sins and for his promotion of sin under cover of the civil law as the consecrated slave of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. It is that simple.

Then again, why should Thorbjorn Jagland understand this simple truth when the conciliar Vatican, which has lavished a good deal of praise (see Urbanely Accepting EvilRespect Those Who Break the First Commandment? Respect Those Who Break the Fifth CommandmentL'Osservatore Del Naturalista, and A "Blessing" on a Murderer and His Work)o n Caesar Obamus, interspersed now and again with some criticism, has reacted with approval to the news of Obama's being awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace for 2009:

VATICAN CITY (CNS) -- News that U.S. President Barack Obama had been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize was met with high hopes from the Vatican spokesman.

Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi told journalists Oct. 9 that the news "was greeted with appreciation at the Vatican in light of the president's demonstrated commitment to promoting peace on an international level and, in particular, in recently promoting nuclear disarmament."

"It is hoped that this very important recognition would offer greater encouragement for such a difficult but fundamental dedication to the future of humanity so that it may bring about the desired results," he said in a written statement.

The new U.S. ambassador to the Vatican, Miguel Diaz, told Vatican Radio that the president was being recognized for his efforts in working to build understanding between people and eliminate nuclear weapons from all parts of the world.

Winning the Nobel Peace Prize is a great encouragement to keep working toward building a better world, said Diaz.

He said that when he presented his credentials as the new U.S. ambassador Oct. 2, Pope Benedict XVI "made clear to me how grateful he was" that Obama was especially committed to ridding the world of nuclear weapons.

Bishops attending the Synod of Bishops for Africa also reacted to the selection of Obama.

Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory of Atlanta said it "clearly was an unexpected honor to come to the president" and he hopes that "it leaves an invitation for greatness."

"I hope in receiving the award, the president realizes and responds to the great challenge that has been placed before him," he told Catholic News Service Oct. 9.

"The world has sent a signal, at least insofar as the Nobel Prize is concerned, that it has high expectations for him and hopes he will live up to the energy and the positive things that he has thus far set on the world stage," said Archbishop Gregory.

Another synod participant, Archbishop Charles G. Palmer-Buckle of Accra, Ghana, was ecstatic and "overwhelmed that (Obama) won the Nobel Peace Prize," he told journalists Oct. 9.

"I would like the world to look at it as an encouragement, a motivation" to recognize the talents and potential of Africans and people of African descent, he said.

"Blacks are as talented as anyone else ... and I think the world is now coming face to face with the fact that if we are appreciated, we can give still more," said Archbishop Palmer-Buckle.

The archbishop told CNS that Obama "definitely deserves" the prize and that the U.S. leader is an inspiration.

He recalled Obama's visit to Ghana in July and how much he was moved by the president's encouragement for people to take destiny into their own hands.

"He told the youths, don't look to Europe, don't look to America for solutions to your problems. You can, yes, you can. And I think we've taken it up ... and we are going to do it," he said.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee announced the U.S. president was chosen "for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples."

"Only very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world's attention and given its people hope for a better future," it said Oct. 9.

Speaking at the White House later the same day, Obama said he was "surprised and deeply humbled by the decision of the Nobel committee."

"Let me be clear: I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments, but rather as an affirmation of American leadership on behalf of aspirations held by people in all nations," he said. (Nobel Peace Prize to Obama greeted with praise, high hopes at Vatican )

These men are mad. Mad. Insane. They are beyond apostates. They are pagans, bereft of any understanding that a man such as Obama who promotes sin under cover of the civil law cannot accomplish anything pleasing to the true God of Revelation, no less serve as instruments of "peace" among men and their nations. These conciliar officials are naturalists, oblivious to the truths expressed by Silvio Cardinal Antoniano in the Sixteenth Century and by Pope Pius XI seventy-nine years ago, namely, that those who promote sin cannot pursue the common temporal good authentically and that those who promote baby-killing must face the just Judge and Avenger of the blood of the innocent upon their own deaths:

The more closely the temporal power of a nation aligns itself with the spiritual, and the more it fosters and promotes the latter, by so much the more it contributes to the conservation of the commonwealth. For it is the aim of the ecclesiastical authority by the use of spiritual means, to form good Christians in accordance with its own particular end and object; and in doing this it helps at the same time to form good citizens, and prepares them to meet their obligations as members of a civil society. This follows of necessity because in the City of God, the Holy Roman Catholic Church, a good citizen and an upright man are absolutely one and the same thing. How grave therefore is the error of those who separate things so closely united, and who think that they can produce good citizens by ways and methods other than those which make for the formation of good Christians. For, let human prudence say what it likes and reason as it pleases, it is impossible to produce true temporal peace and tranquillity by things repugnant or opposed to the peace and happiness of eternity. (Silvio Cardinal Antoniano, quoted by Pope Pius XI in Divini Illius Magistri, December 31, 1929.)

Those who hold the reins of government should not forget that it is the duty of public authority by appropriate laws and sanctions to defend the lives of the innocent, and this all the more so since those whose lives are endangered and assailed cannot defend themselves. Among whom we must mention in the first place infants hidden in the mother's womb. And if the public magistrates not only do not defend them, but by their laws and ordinances betray them to death at the hands of doctors or of others, let them remember that God is the Judge and Avenger of innocent blood which cried from earth to Heaven. (Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii, December 30, 1930.)

The conciliar officials quoted above understand none of this. Not one word of this. They are informed by naturalism, including the politics of "racial identity," thinking in pure naturalistic terms without even considering for a single moment the fact that man who supports baby-killing and statism can contribute anything other than disorder and chaos in the world. Look at the figures of Antichrist in the counterfeit church of conciliarist applaud the figure of Antichrist in the world in the person of Barack Hussein Obama. Dearest Lord, come quickly, end this madness!

It is enough for us to turn to our true popes, not one of whom ever won a Nobel Prize for Peace as they served as Vicars of the Prince of Peace, the King of Kings, Whose peace is not that of the insane merchants of spiritual death who populate the Nobel Prize Committees, for antidotes to this madness:

Everyone should avoid familiarity or friendship with anyone suspected of belonging to masonry or to affiliated groups. Know them by their fruits and avoid them. Every familiarity should be avoided, not only with those impious libertines who openly promote the character of the sect, but also with those who hide under the mask of universal tolerance, respect for all religions, and the craving to reconcile the maxims of the Gospel with those of the revolution. These men seek to reconcile Christ and Belial, the Church of God and the state without God. (Pope Leo XIII, Custodi di Quella Fede, December 8, 1892.)

This, nevertheless, is what they want to do with human society; they dream of changing its natural and traditional foundations; they dream of a Future City built on different principles, and they dare to proclaim these more fruitful and more beneficial than the principles upon which the present Christian City rests.

No, Venerable Brethren, We must repeat with the utmost energy in these times of social and intellectual anarchy when everyone takes it upon himself to teach as a teacher and lawmaker - the City cannot be built otherwise than as God has built it; society cannot be setup unless the Church lays the foundations and supervises the work; no, civilization is not something yet to be found, nor is the New City to be built on hazy notions; it has been in existence and still is: it is Christian civilization, it is the Catholic City. It has only to be set up and restored continually against the unremitting attacks of insane dreamers, rebels and miscreants. omnia instaurare in Christo. (Pope Saint Pius X, Notre Charge Apostolique, August 15, 1910.)

The lords of the Nobel Prize committee are as one with Obama and most of the lords of the counterfeit church of conciliarism in rejecting these words of Pope Pius XI in Ubi Arcano Dei Consilio, December 23, 1922:

If we stop to reflect for a moment that these ideals and doctrines of Jesus Christ, for example, his teachings on the necessity and value of the spiritual life, on the dignity and sanctity of human life, on the duty of obedience, on the divine basis of human government, on the sacramental character of matrimony and by consequence the sanctity of family life -- if we stop to reflect, let Us repeat, that these ideals and doctrines of Christ (which are in fact but a portion of the treasury of truth which He left to mankind) were confided by Him to His Church and to her alone for safekeeping, and that He has promised that His aid will never fail her at any time for she is the infallible teacher of His doctrines in every century and before all nations, there is no one who cannot clearly see what a singularly important role the Catholic Church is able to play, and is even called upon to assume, in providing a remedy for the ills which afflict the world today and in leading mankind toward a universal peace.

Because the Church is by divine institution the sole depository and interpreter of the ideals and teachings of Christ, she alone possesses in any complete and true sense the power effectively to combat that materialistic philosophy which has already done and, still threatens, such tremendous harm to the home and to the state. The Church alone can introduce into society and maintain therein the prestige of a true, sound spiritualism, the spiritualism of Christianity which both from the point of view of truth and of its practical value is quite superior to any exclusively philosophical theory. The Church is the teacher and an example of world good-will, for she is able to inculcate and develop in mankind the "true spirit of brotherly love" (St. Augustine, De Moribus Ecclesiae Catholicae, i, 30) and by raising the public estimation of the value and dignity of the individual's soul help thereby to lift us even unto God.

Finally, the Church is able to set both public and private life on the road to righteousness by demanding that everything and all men become obedient to God "Who beholdeth the heart," to His commands, to His laws, to His sanctions. If the teachings of the Church could only penetrate in some such manner as We have described the inner recesses of the consciences of mankind, be they rulers or be they subjects, all eventually would be so apprised of their personal and civic duties and their mutual responsibilities that in a short time "Christ would be all, and in all." (Colossians iii, 11)

Since the Church is the safe and sure guide to conscience, for to her safe-keeping alone there has been confided the doctrines and the promise of the assistance of Christ, she is able not only to bring about at the present hour a peace that is truly the peace of Christ, but can, better than any other agency which We know of, contribute greatly to the securing of the same peace for the future, to the making impossible of war in the future. For the Church teaches (she alone has been given by God the mandate and the right to teach with authority) that not only our acts as individuals but also as groups and as nations must conform to the eternal law of God. In fact, it is much more important that the acts of a nation follow God's law, since on the nation rests a much greater responsibility for the consequences of its acts than on the individual.

Anyone who believes that the lords of Modernity in the world or of Modernism in the counterfeit church of conciliarism accept this eloquent reiteration of Catholic truth is badly deceived. As neither set of people do believe in this eloquent reiteration of Catholic truth, you see, they impede the path to peace in the world, steeped in a sad, sad rejection of the truth that the path to peace in the world runs through the Immaculate Heart of Mary and involves the unconditional conversion of everyone, including Mohammedans and adherents of Talmudic Judaism, and every nation to the Catholic Church.

This is what they do believe in, the New World Order:

We fear that worse is to come: the end result of this developing promiscuousness, the beneficiary of this cosmopolitan social action, can only be a Democracy which will be neither Catholic, nor Protestant, nor Jewish. It will be a religion (for Sillonism, so the leaders have said, is a religion) more universal than the Catholic Church, uniting all men become brothers and comrades at last in the "Kingdom of God". - "We do not work for the Church, we work for mankind."

And now, overwhelmed with the deepest sadness, We ask Ourselves, Venerable Brethren, what has become of the Catholicism of the Sillon? Alas! this organization which formerly afforded such promising expectations, this limpid and impetuous stream, has been harnessed in its course by the modern enemies of the Church, and is now no more than a miserable affluent of the great movement of apostasy being organized in every country for the establishment of a One-World Church which shall have neither dogmas, nor hierarchy, neither discipline for the mind, nor curb for the passions, and which, under the pretext of freedom and human dignity, would bring back to the world (if such a Church could overcome) the reign of legalized cunning and force, and the oppression of the weak, and of all those who toil and suffer. (Pope Saint Pius X, Notre Charge Apostolique, August 15, 1910.)

Figures of Antichrist walk amongst us as they speak in nondenominational terms to "appeal" to men of all "religions" as they offend the true God of Revelation and blaspheme Him by treating false religions as valid and as sacred in His sight. These figures of Antichrist are to be found in the counterfeit church of conciliarism and in the halls of naturalism in the realm of civil governance, and they take great delight in applauding themselves in the spirit of the Bolsheviks atop the Kremlin Wall  in Moscow on May Day and the annual celebrations of the Bolshevik Revolution in October of each year. Barack Hussein Obama's receiving the Nobel Prize for Peace in 2009 is just the latest indication that we may very well be living in end times, although I only make noninfallible observations in this regard without claiming any degree of prophetic insight whatsoever. Things are deteriorating very rapidly, due largely to the fact that there is a paucity of Sanctifying Grace in the world as a consequence of the invalid and barren sacramental rites of the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

While we must pray for these figures of Antichrist in the world and in the counterfeit church of conciliarism as we make reparation for our own sins and those of the whole world by offering our prayers and sufferings and sacrifices to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, praying as many Rosaries each day as our states in life permit, we must not enable these figures of Antichrist in the world or in the counterfeit church of conciliarism (Ratzinger/Benedict is always talking about how the "values" of false religions can "contribute" to the "building" of the better world and to the cause of "world peace") in any way or pretend in any way that they are not absolutely identical in their apostate view of how to build the "better world" by means of a Judeo-Masonic spirit of practical religious indifferentism.

Pope Pius XI exhorted us in Quas Primas, December 11,1925, to be about the business of restoring the Social Reign of Christ the King:

If We ordain that the whole Catholic world shall revere Christ as King, We shall minister to the need of the present day, and at the same time provide an excellent remedy for the plague which now infects society. We refer to the plague of anti-clericalism, its errors and impious activities. This evil spirit, as you are well aware, Venerable Brethren, has not come into being in one day; it has long lurked beneath the surface. The empire of Christ over all nations was rejected. The right which the Church has from Christ himself, to teach mankind, to make laws, to govern peoples in all that pertains to their eternal salvation, that right was denied. Then gradually the religion of Christ came to be likened to false religions and to be placed ignominiously on the same level with them. It was then put under the power of the state and tolerated more or less at the whim of princes and rulers. Some men went even further, and wished to set up in the place of God's religion a natural religion consisting in some instinctive affection of the heart. There were even some nations who thought they could dispense with God, and that their religion should consist in impiety and the neglect of God. The rebellion of individuals and states against the authority of Christ has produced deplorable consequences. We lamented these in the Encyclical Ubi arcano; we lament them today: the seeds of discord sown far and wide; those bitter enmities and rivalries between nations, which still hinder so much the cause of peace; that insatiable greed which is so often hidden under a pretense of public spirit and patriotism, and gives rise to so many private quarrels; a blind and immoderate selfishness, making men seek nothing but their own comfort and advantage, and measure everything by these; no peace in the home, because men have forgotten or neglect their duty; the unity and stability of the family undermined; society in a word, shaken to its foundations and on the way to ruin. We firmly hope, however, that the feast of the Kingship of Christ, which in future will be yearly observed, may hasten the return of society to our loving Savior. It would be the duty of Catholics to do all they can to bring about this happy result. Many of these, however, have neither the station in society nor the authority which should belong to those who bear the torch of truth. This state of things may perhaps be attributed to a certain slowness and timidity in good people, who are reluctant to engage in conflict or oppose but a weak resistance; thus the enemies of the Church become bolder in their attacks. But if the faithful were generally to understand that it behooves them ever to fight courageously under the banner of Christ their King, then, fired with apostolic zeal, they would strive to win over to their Lord those hearts that are bitter and estranged from him, and would valiantly defend his rights.

Moreover, the annual and universal celebration of the feast of the Kingship of Christ will draw attention to the evils which anticlericalism has brought upon society in drawing men away from Christ, and will also do much to remedy them. While nations insult the beloved name of our Redeemer by suppressing all mention of it in their conferences and parliaments, we must all the more loudly proclaim his kingly dignity and power, all the more universally affirm his rights.

The way has been happily and providentially prepared for the celebration of this feast ever since the end of the last century. It is well known that this cult has been the subject of learned disquisitions in many books published in every part of the world, written in many different languages. The kingship and empire of Christ have been recognized in the pious custom, practiced by many families, of dedicating themselves to the Sacred Heart of Jesus; not only families have performed this act of dedication, but nations, too, and kingdoms. In fact, the whole of the human race was at the instance of Pope Leo XIII, in the Holy Year 1900, consecrated to the Divine Heart. It should be remarked also that much has been done for the recognition of Christ's authority over society by the frequent Eucharistic Congresses which are held in our age. These give an opportunity to the people of each diocese, district or nation, and to the whole world of coming together to venerate and adore Christ the King hidden under the Sacramental species. Thus by sermons preached at meetings and in churches, by public adoration of the Blessed Sacrament exposed and by solemn processions, men unite in paying homage to Christ, whom God has given them for their King. It is by a divine inspiration that the people of Christ bring forth Jesus from his silent hiding-place in the church, and carry him in triumph through the streets of the city, so that he whom men refused to receive when he came unto his own, may now receive in full his kingly rights.

May we believe in this exhortation with all of our hearts as we give unto the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary all of our efforts to plant a few seeds when all men everywhere will exclaim as the fruit of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary when the only peace plan that matters, Heaven's Peace Plan, Our Lady's Fatima Peace Plan, is fulfilled.
