A "Blessing" On A Murderer and His "Work"

by Thomas A. Droleskey

Pope Benedict XVI welcomed American President Barack Obama to the Vatican today, and the two discussed world issues addressed at the Group of Eight summit.

As they met, Mr Obama told the Pope: "It's a great honor; thank you so much."

The two sat down at a desk in the papal library and began discussing the G8 summit which concluded that morning in L'Aquila, Italy. The summit focused on the economic crisis, climate change and global tensions.

Pope Benedict told the president: "You must be tired after all these discussions."

The president replied that the meetings marked "great progress" and "something concrete". The private meeting lasted more than 30 minutes.

At the end of the meeting, Pope Benedict told the president: "A blessing on all your work and also for you." (Benedict XVI meets Obama - Catholic Herald Online)

A "blessing on all your work and also for you." This is what the false "pontiff" said to the de facto President of the United States of America yesterday, July 10, 2009, at the Apostolic Palace in the State of Vatican City. "A blessing on all your work and also for you."

Yes, sure, the false "pontiff," Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, discussed the inviolability of innocent human life with the putative President of the United States of America. Ratzinger/Benedict gave Caesar Obamus a document, Dignitatis Personae, produced by the conciliar Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith. Here is the official communique issued by the Vatican press office:

This afternoon, Friday 10 July 2009, His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI received in audience the president of the United States of America, His Excellency Mr. Barack H. Obama. Prior to the audience, the president met His Eminence Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, secretary of state, and also His Excellency Archbishop Dominique Mamberti, secretary for relations with states.

In the course of their cordial exchanges, the conversation turned first of all to questions which are in the interests of all and which constitute a great challenge for the future of every nation and for the true progress of peoples, such as the defense and promotion of life and the right to abide by one’s conscience.

Reference was also made to immigration with particular attention to the matter of reuniting families.

The meeting focused as well upon matters of international politics, especially in light of the outcome of the G8 Summit. The conversation also dealt with the peace process in the Middle East, on which there was general agreement, and with other regional situations. Certain current issues were then considered, such as dialogue between cultures and religions, the global economic crisis and its ethical implications, food security, development aid especially for Africa and Latin America, and the problem of drug trafficking. Finally, the importance of educating young people everywhere in the value of tolerance was highlighted.” (Benedict Focuses on Life Issues)

It is nevertheless the case that officials in the conciliar Vatican, including Ratzinger/Benedict himself, believe that they can work to advance "peace in the Middle East and to realize some of the far-reaching, utopian, globalist goals expressed by Ratzinger/Benedict in Caritas in Veritate (see Give Me Two Bayers, Please and Two More Bayers, Please). Ratzinger/Benedict, who does not believe that Catholicism is the one and only foundation and personal and social order and who rejects the immutable doctrine of the Catholic Church concerning the Social Reign of Christ the King, believes that a man who has issued executive orders to use Federal taxpayer dollars to fund the surgical and chemical assassination of children internationally has a "work" that is entitled to a "blessing."

This is simply more madness from the mad hatter from Germany who is posing as a Successor of Saint Peter at this time, madness from a man who has offended the honor and majesty and glory of God by entering into places of false worship and esteeming the nonexistent "ability" of the "values" of false religions to "contribute" to the building of a "better" world and to the cause of world "peace," madness from a man who has called mosques as "jewels" that stand out on the face of the earth and as "sacred" places, madness from a man who has personally esteemed the symbols of false religions with his own priestly hands. "A blessing on all of your work and on you."

How can a man who is committed to the destruction of innocent preborn human life as a matter of principle and who believes that pregnancy in and of itself places a woman in the midst of an "agonizing" choice be an instrument of pursing the common temporal good undertaken with respect to man's Last End. He cannot. It is that simple. No one who promotes grievous sin under cover of the civil law can be an instrument in the pursuit of the common temporal good. It is that simple.

Sin is what caused Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to suffer once in time in His Sacred Humanity during His Passion and Death. Sin is what caused His Most Blessed Mother's Immaculate Heart to be pierced through and through with Seven Swords of Sorrow. Sin is what wounds His Mystical Body, the Church Militant, here on earth in this passing, mortal value of tears. No one who is an agent in the promotion of grievous sin, no less sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance, is a fit holder of the public weal. While such a person is an object of our prayers and while his actions must prompt us to make much reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, he is not deserving of a "blessing" from a putative "pontiff" for his "work" of evil, a "work that retards the common temporal good and places into jeopardy the sanctification and salvation of immortal souls upon which the whole of social order must be premised.

The more closely the temporal power of a nation aligns itself with the spiritual, and the more it fosters and promotes the latter, by so much the more it contributes to the conservation of the commonwealth. For it is the aim of the ecclesiastical authority by the use of spiritual means, to form good Christians in accordance with its own particular end and object; and in doing this it helps at the same time to form good citizens, and prepares them to meet their obligations as members of a civil society. This follows of necessity because in the City of God, the Holy Roman Catholic Church, a good citizen and an upright man are absolutely one and the same thing. How grave therefore is the error of those who separate things so closely united, and who think that they can produce good citizens by ways and methods other than those which make for the formation of good Christians. For, let human prudence say what it likes and reason as it pleases, it is impossible to produce true temporal peace and tranquillity by things repugnant or opposed to the peace and happiness of eternity. (Silvio Cardinal Antoniano, quoted by Pope Pius XI in Divini Illius Magistri, December 31, 1929.)

Has something changed? Is it now possible to "produce true temporal peace and tranquility by things repugnant or opposed to the peace and happiness of eternity"?

"A blessing on all your work and also for you"?

Supporting, promoting and funding surgical and chemical baby-killing is part of Caesar Obamus's "work."

"A blessing on all your work and also for you"?

Supporting and promoting the sin of Sodom, another of the four sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance?

WASHINGTON, D.C., June 29, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - President Barack Obama reassured homosexual advocates gathered at the White House yesterday that he was not dragging his heels on implementing their agenda, but merely patiently biding his time in order to ensure success in the long run.

Obama hosted hundreds of homosexual activists at the White House on Monday in the East Room, in order to celebrate LGBT Pride Month as well as the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots that are regarded as the inception of the homosexual rights movement.

The President specifically recognized several special guests, including New Hampshire Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson and Frank Kameny, whom the President paid special attention to, hailing him a "civil rights pioneer."

Kameny is credited with successfully lobbying the American Psychiatric Association into declassifying homosexuality as a mental disorder, and the octogenarian has recently devoted himself to promoting hard-core pornography and the acceptance of bestiality as part of what he calls "Americanism in action."

Obama stated that Kameny had been fired as an astronomer for the federal government for his homosexuality, and asserted that his public protest in 1965 was "both an act of conscience but also an act of extraordinary courage." The President then added, "And so we are proud of you, Frank, and we are grateful to you for your leadership."

The celebration has been widely perceived as an attempt to mollify the anger of homosexual groups that have accused Obama of failing to fulfill campaign promises to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (DADT) policy, which prohibits homosexuals from serving in the armed forces.

The President acknowledged that many of the homosexualist leaders in the room were unhappy with his administration's current pace of progress, but urged them instead to suspend their present discontent for promise of the coming social transformation.

"I know that many in this room don't believe that progress has come fast enough, and I understand that," Obama said. "It's not for me to tell you to be patient anymore than it was for others to counsel patience to African-Americans who were petitioning for equal rights a half-century ago."

"But I say this: We have made progress," the president continued. "And we will make more."We have made progress and we will make more. And I want you to know that I expect and hope to be judged not by words, not by promises I've made, but by the promises that my administration keeps."

"We've been in office six months now.  I suspect that by the time this administration is over, I think you guys will have pretty good feelings about the Obama administration."

The President then recommitted himself to pledges to overturn DOMA, the military ban on homosexuals serving in the military (DADT), passing the employment non-discrimination act (ENDA), new federal hate crimes legislation, and rescinding a travel ban to the United States for HIV-infected persons, which Obama called "discriminatory."

The President also stated that sexually transmitted HIV/AIDS, which continues to ravage and spread in the homosexual community through the practice of multiple sex partners, "continues to be a public health threat in many communities," including the District of Columbia.

"That's why this past Saturday, on National HIV Testing Day, I was proud once again to encourage all Americans to know their status and get tested the way Michelle and I know our status and got tested," Obama stated.

However, Obama made clear that the ultimate victory for the homosexual movement would not come merely by legislative fiat from Washington, but through persistent persuasion on all levels.

"We are all witnesses to monumental changes in this country.  That should give us hope, but we cannot rest.  We must continue to do our part to make progress - step by step, law by law, mind by changing mind," asserted Obama.

"And I want you to know that in this task I will not only be your friend, I will continue to be an ally and a champion and a President who fights with you and for you." (Obama Assures Homosexualist Leaders He's a "Champion" of Their Cause.)

An "ally" and a "champion" and a "President who fights with and for" men and women steeped in unrepentant perverse acts committed against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments? A man who praises a promoter of pornography as a "civil rights pioneer"?

"A blessing on all you work and also for you"?

Pope Pius XI did not express a "blessing" on the "work" of those public officials supported the evils being promoted and exalted by Barack Hussein Obama:

"Those who hold the reins of government should not forget that it is the duty of public authority by appropriate laws and sanctions to defend the lives of the innocent, and this all the more so since those whose lives are endangered and assailed cannot defend themselves. Among whom we must mention in the first place infants hidden in the mother's womb. And if the public magistrates not only do not defend them, but by their laws and ordinances betray them to death at the hands of doctors or of others, let them remember that God is the Judge and Avenger of innocent blood which cried from earth to Heaven." (Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii, December 31, 1930.)

"A blessing on all your work and also for you"?

Saint Paul the Apostle did not wish a "blessing" on those steeped in works of evil:

Let no man deceive you with vain words. For because of these things cometh the anger of God upon the children of unbelief. Be ye not therefore partakers with them. For you were heretofore darkness, but now light in the Lord. Walk then as children of the light. For the fruit of the light is in all goodness, and justice, and truth; Proving what is well pleasing to God:

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (Eph. 6-11.)

Bear not the yoke with unbelievers. For what participation hath justice with injustice? Or what fellowship hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath the faithful with the unbeliever?

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God; as God saith: I will dwell in them, and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore, Go out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing: And I will receive you; and I will be a Father to you; and you shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Cor. 6: 14-18.)

Saint John the Evangelist, the Apostle of the love of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, did not believe that a "blessing" should be bestowed on those committed to the promotion of false ideas and evil works:

Whosoever revolteth, and continueth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that continueth in the doctrine, the same hath both the Father and the Son. He that continueth in the doctrine, the same hath both the Father and the Son. If any man come to you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into the house nor say to him, God speed you. For he that saith unto him, God speed you, communicateth with his wicked works. (2 John 1: 9-11.)

What does Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI believe? "A blessing on all your work also for you?"

Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, a man who lives in world of contradiction and paradox that makes soon-to-be former Governor of Alaska Sarah Heath Palin seem coherent by comparison, does not see any contradiction between having chided Barack Hussein Obama for his support of surgical baby-killing and his wishing a "blessing on all" his work. One who supports grievous evil is deserving of our prayers, but not of a "blessing."

When all is said and done, however, there is indeed much "common ground" between the conciliar Vatican and the Obama administration, as I explained two days ago in Give Me Two Bayers, Please. Consider this report from The New York Times:

The meeting came just days after Benedict released his latest encyclical, “Caritas in Veritate,” which calls for more ethics in business and represents the church’s latest thinking about the economy in a globalized world.

Mr. Obama met separately with the Vatican secretary of State, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone. “They talked about the encyclical and how some of the issues raised in it are in keeping with some of the priorities of the Obama administration,” said a person who was present but requested anonymity to discuss a private meeting. (Unveiling Food Plan, Obama Presses Africa on Corruption.)

What was I saying a few days ago, something along the line that Caritas in Veritate would be used by statists and globalists such as Obama for their own nefarious purposes? And who is Ratzinger/Benedict to be lecturing anyone about economic and financial "responsibility" when he, as the prefect of the counterfeit church's Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, presided over a systematic cover-up of priests and presbyters guilty of heinous crimes against the moral law that have cost Catholics attached to the conciliar structures over a billion dollars in their hard-earned donations?

"A blessing on all your work and also for you"?

Caritas in Veritate is indeed a continuation of the work of the Communist-sympathizer Giovanni Montini/Paul VI, a man who sold out Catholic priests behind the Iron Curtain and the man who sold out Joseph Cardinal Mindszenty in order to advance his Ostpolitik. Birds of a leftist feather do indeed flock together, as a very perceptive reader from England noted in an incisive commentary he has sent to me and has given me permission to use I choose. I choose to use it now:

I was alerted to the release of Professor Ratzinger’s lecture "Caritas in veritate", and decided to investigate its contents on the Vatican website. I found the document to read like a language lesson aimed at demonstrating the many different ways of composing a sentence containing the words "love" and "truth". It was a struggle to deal with the high-flown tediousness of it all, and, not surprisingly, I did truly fall asleep before I got to the end of the Introduction.

When I woke up I thought to find out what you had to say on the subject, and was glad to see that you have more stamina than I. I would like to thank you for your digest of this futile missive, and for saving me further trouble.

It happens that I was recently loaned a copy of "The Undermining of the Catholic Church" by the journalist Mary Ball Martinez (1991). The main thesis of the book is that the revolution that has overtaken the Church since Vatican II started well before that council—a point of view which you would probably subscribe to quite readily. Although some of the details presented in support of this thesis may be questionable (eg: doubt seems to be cast on the orthodoxy of the encyclical "Mystici Corporis"), nevertheless, the book is spot-on where the ideas of Jacques Maritain are brought into the discussion:-

"In 1926,… [Jacques Maritain] went to Rome where, thanks to his prestige as a Thomist scholar, he was able to talk privately both with the Pope [Pius XI] and the Secretary of State [Piero Cardinal Gasparri—a protégé of the nearly-pope Cardinal Rampolla]. … He left Rome with an assignment whether from the Pope or, as is more likely, from Secretary Gasparri, to gather his theories on what he called ‘integral humanism’ into a book. Ten years later the Church-shaking Maritain work appeared. Nearly simultaneously with the first French edition, an Italian version came out with the glowing introduction by its translator, Giovanni Battist[a] Montini." [p.65]

"Integral Humanism, not unlike the theories of Teilhard de Chardin, envisions religions of every kind converging towards a single human ideal in a world civilization where all men will be reconciled in justice, love and peace. Friendship among men will guide all life toward a mysterious accomplishment of the Gospel. As the French theologian Henry Le Caron explains: ‘Integral Humanism is a universal fraternity among men of good will belonging to different religions or none, even those who reject the idea of a creator. It is within this framework that the Church should exercise a leavening influence without demanding that it be recognized as the one, true Church. The cement of this fratenity is twofold, the virtue of doing good and an understanding grounded in respect for human dignity.

"‘This idea of universal fraternity’, continues Le Caron ‘is neither new nor original. It was already advanced by the philosophers of the eighteenth century and by the French revolutionaries of 1789. It is also the fraternity beloved of Freemasons and Marxists. What distinguishes Maritain’s humanism is the role it allocates to the Church. Within the universal fraternity the Church is to be the inspiration and the Big Sister and it goes without saying that if she is to win the sympathy of her little brothers she must neither be intrasigent nor authoritarian. She must learn how to make religion acceptable. She must be practicable rather than dogmatic.’" [p.66]

"That Fr Montini’s early enthusiasm for Maritain stayed with him throughout his life is described by the novelist and onetime Jesuit, Malachi Martin, ‘The Integral Humanism of Paul VI permeated the policy of his entire pontificate. What the philosophy has to say is that all men are naturally good, that they will respond to the good and reject the evil if they are shown the difference. The function of the Church is merely to bear witness by service to men in today’s world where a new society is being born.’" [p.67]

"Implementation of the Maritain doctrine can be recognised in document after document emerging from the Second Vatican Council and in most of the official exhortations and encyclicals that followed…" [p.67]

Various attempts have been made by Traditionalist Catholics to identify a single common theme underlying the teachings of Vatican II (eg: ecumenism, indifferentism, etc.), but "Integral Humanism" as it is described above, seems to me to accommodate them all, and to explain fairly succinctly the so-many things that, in the NO Church, run counter to the Sacred Tradition of the Catholic Church.

What has prompted me to put these thoughts down in writing is the appearance in "Caritas in veritate" of the neologism that runs like a pinstripe through a bale of cloth, viz: "integral human development". This term occurs in the title and is repeated in the text a score or more times. Is this not Maritain’s and Montini’s "integral humanism" under a slightly different name? Yes, it is, for the latter term is reverted to in the conclusion. (See n.78)

I suggest that this encyclical is warmed up Montiniism served for the umpteenth time!

I thank the reader for this bright, cogent and very incisive remarks.

It could furthermore be asked who is Ratzinger/Benedict to be lecturing anyone about economic and financial "responsibility" when he, as the prefect of the counterfeit church's Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, presided over a systematic cover-up of priests and presbyters guilty of heinous crimes against the moral law that have cost Catholics attached to the conciliar structures over a billion dollars in their hard-earned donations?

Despite, therefore, a "disagreement" over "bioethical" issues and a pledge from Caesar Obamus to seek to "reduce" the number of babies being killed by means of surgical abortion and a pledge to have a "robust" conscience clause to protect health care workers from participating acts contrary to their religious beliefs or moral convictions, there is much "common ground" between the Obama administration and the conciliar Vatican, starting with the belief that it possible to create the "better" world and to forge "peace" among nations without a due subordination of all men and all nations to the Deposit of Faith that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has entrusted exclusively to the Catholic Church for Its eternal safekeeping and infallible explication. that is it not necessary for nations to recognize and to advance the cause of the Social Reign of Christ the King and of Mary our Immaculate Queen as the only true foundation of personal and social order.

Yes, indeed, there is much "common ground" between the conciliar Vatican and the Obama administration, enough for Ratzinger/Benedict to wish a "blessing" on the murderer, Barack Hussein Obama, and "all his work." This is the "pontiff" that the bishops of the Society of Saint Pius X believe can be "converted" to the Faith? Since when does a true "pope" have to be "converted" to the Catholic Faith? Alas, I will reserve more commentary on this insanity for my next article.

Suffice it to say for the moment that those who are bereft of the Faith, those who do not fear to offend the honor and majesty and glory of God by esteeming the symbols of false religions and praising the "values" thereof, will be more than willing to accommodate like-minded statists and globalists even as they disagree with those statists and globalists on "bioethical" issues. It is, after all, pretty easy to respect those who Break the Fifth Commandment when one is accustomed to breaking the First Commandment.

All the more reason, good readers, for us to make many acts of reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, especially, today, the third Saturday of His Excellency Bishop Robert Fidelis McKenna's Rosary Crusade, all the more reason to pray for the restoration of a true pontiff, a believing Catholic would be good for starters, on the Throne of Saint Peter, a true pontiff who will fulfill Our Lady's Fatima Message and consecrate Russia collegially with all of the world's true bishops to her Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. The spirit of the errors of Russia, which include those of Orthodoxy and of Marxism-Leninism, are intertwined with the errors of Modernity and Modernism that have shaped Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict and Barack Hussein Obama, which is one of the reasons that they share so much in common and can be so cordial to each other, and why Ratzinger/Benedict can extend a "blessing" on Obama and all his "work."

We must, of course, pray for the conversion of the false "pontiff" and of the putative President of the United States of America to the true Faith. We must will their good, which is their salvation as members of the Catholic Church. Men may do much evil in their evils. Many of us have done so in our own lives, have we not? What matters to God is how we end up, whether die in a state of true and sincere penitence for our sins as we have persevered to the point of our dying breaths in states of Sanctifying Grace. We must pray very fervently that Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI and Barack Hussein Obama will "end up" as true penitents and as men who have publicly abjured their support for errors and falsehoods contrary to the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law contained in the Deposit of Faith.

As I noted four days ago, we can never accept evil as urbanely as do so many of the officials in the counterfeit church of conciliarism. Indeed, speaking as a sinner who has so very much for which to make reparation, we must be conscious at all times of our need to pray and to fast and to make many, many sacrifices to more perfectly conformed to the mercies of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. We must always remember that our sins have contributed mightily to the worsening of the state of the Church Militant on earth and the state of the world, which is why we need to pray many Rosaries of reparation for our own sins as well as those of the whole world.

The final victory belongs to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. May it be our privilege to plant a few seeds for this great triumph and the ushering in of the Reign of Mary and the restoration of the Social Reign of Christ the King.

Vivat Christus Rex! Viva Cristo Rey!

Isn't it time to pray a Rosary now?

Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon!

Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death.

Saint Joseph, pray for us.

Saints Peter and Paul, pray for us.

Saint John the Baptist, pray for us.

Saint John the Evangelist, pray for us.

Saint Michael the Archangel, pray for us.
