Francis The Liberator

by Thomas A. Droleskey

And the inscription of his cause was written over: THE KING OF THE JEWS. And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left. And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith: And with the wicked he was reputed. And they that passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads, and saying: Vah, thou that destroyest the temple of God, and in three days buildest it up again; Save thyself, coming down from the cross.

In like manner also the chief priests mocking, said with the scribes one to another: He saved others; himself he cannot save. Let Christ the king of Israel come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him. (Mark 15: 26-32)

Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is indeed being mocked by chief priests of the counterfeit church of concilairism today, starting with the conciliar "popes," including, of course, Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis and his predecessors, who have dared to offend God grievously by esteeming with their own priestly hands the symbols of false religions.

Indeed, the now retired Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI dared to enter two synagogues and two mosques. The retired "petrine minister," much in the manner of the soon-to-be "canonized" Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II before him, spat on Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ each time he did such things, which were, each and every single one of them, objectively speaking, Mortal Sins against the First Commandment. Anyone who denies that entering into and treating with respect places of false worship without seeking the unconditional conversion of those adhere the devils worshiped therein is intellectually dishonest or bereft of the sensus Catholicus (thereby lacking any knowledge of the necessity of defending the honor and glory and majesty of the Most Blessed Trinity) or is a coward who is afraid to speak to the truth of the Faith for one reason or another.

God will not be mocked. The true God of Divine Revelation does not want members of the Catholic Church, no less those who believe themselves to be bishops and priests, to give even the slightest degree of credibility to any false religion. This is, of course, what Jorge Mario Bergoglio did during his years as the conciliar "archbishop" of Buenos Aires, Argentina, as he celebrated Talmudic festivals and had himself "blessed" by Protestant layman posing as "ministers" of true God of Divine Revelation. It is what Jorge Mario Bergoglio has done as "Pope Francis" when speaking of the "unity" that is alleged to exist with the heretical and schismatic Orthodox churches and as he has met with the layman, Justin Welby, who poses as the "archbishop" of Canterbury for the schismatic and heretical Anglican sect and as he has "prayed" with a Lutheran "minister."

The God of Revelation, which consists of Sacred Scripture and Sacred (Apostolic) Tradition, hates each and every false religion. He has no respect for false religions, which have the power to save no one and are instruments of disorder in souls and thus of disorder and chaos within nations. Those who show respect for false religions by esteeming their symbols and praising their nonexistent "ability" to contribute to the "betterment" of nations and the world are themselves enemies of God as they find themselves condemned by these very words e of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Himself:

But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of scandals. For it must needs be that scandals come: but nevertheless woe to that man by whom the scandal cometh. And if thy hand, or thy foot scandalize thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee. It is better for thee to go into life maimed or lame, than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thy eye scandalize thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee. It is better for thee having one eye to enter into life, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. See that you despise not one of these little ones: for I say to you, that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 18: 6-10.)

The mockery from the conciliar "popes" and "bishops" is constant. It is unremitting. It cries out to Heaven for vengeance. Fifty years of conciliar mockery produced by false ecumenism and inter-religious "dialogue" and inter-religious "prayer" service and profane, blasphemous liturgies have robbed most Catholics of their sensus Catholicus. Most Catholics are awash in the illogic of sentimentality and emotionalism. Some might close their eyes to things that bother them in the hope that what they see are merely aberrations that do not reflect on the essence of conciliarism itself, an attitude that I know from first-hand experience leads to blaming the bad "bishops" for travesties that are indeed of the essence of conciliarism and that have the full approval and "blessing" of the conciliar "popes." It is thus difficult for the average Catholic to find fault with a "pope" who goes to a mosque or to a synagogue or who asks the non-"archbishop" of Canterbury to join him in giving a "joint blessing" to the faithful.

Thus it is that the heretical, sacrilegious and blasphemous words and actions of the conciliar "pontiffs" have been most effective in catechizing Catholics and non-Catholics alike that what is alleged to be the Catholic Church can change with the "needs of the times" in order to respond to the supposed realities of "modern man" and his multicultural circumstances.

The public face of Catholicism, you see, is not to be found in relatively little-read publications such as The Remnant or Catholic Family News or The Latin Mass: A Journal of Catholic Culture.

The public face of Catholicism is not to be found on any "conservative" or traditionally-minded website, including this one most especially.

The public face of Catholicism is not to be found even in "conservative" publications as The Wanderer.

The public face of what is presented, albeit falsely, as Catholicism to Catholics and non-Catholics alike everywhere throughout the world is what was last detailed in Mister Asteroid Is Looking Pretty Good Right About Now and has been documented in the past three months since the election of Jorge Mario Bergoglio as the universal public face of apostasy, especially as he takes us to his daily Ding Dong School Of Apostasy.

The public face of what passes for Catholicism is in the once Catholic parishes that have been seized the conciliarists.

The public face of what passes for Catholicism is to be found in supposedly "Catholic" schools, "update programs," "workshops," colleges, universities, professional schools and hospitals.

The public face of what passes for Catholicism is to be found in the papal "knighthoods" and prestigious medals and honors bestowed upon those who promote sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance (most particularly willful murder and the sin of Sodom), including those bestowed upon Talmudic rabbis such as Aaron Bisno, who was awarded the Benemerenti Medal, instituted by Pope Pius VI over two hundred twenty years ago now as a sign of papal respect for those who had demonstrated "military merit," by, guess who (no, not Woody Woodpecker), Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, in 2005. Rabbi Bisno believes that the surgical execution of the innocent preborn is a matter of "religious freedom," something that I will be elaborating upon in a day or two:

Ordained in 1996, Rabbi Bisno was a graduate of the pro-abortion Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, the oldest existing Jewish seminary in the Americas and the main seminary for training rabbis in Reform Judaism. Additional degrees were obtained from Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Pennsylvania.

Following his appointment as Executive Director of the Hillel Jewish Center at the University of Virginia from 1996-1998, Rabbi Bisno served as Associate Rabbi of Congregation Rodeph Shalom in Philadelphia until 2004.

While in Philadelphia, Bisno was one of 729 rabbis who signed a letter in support of President Clinton's veto of H. R. 1122, the "Partial-Birth Abortion Act of 1997. Most Renew America readers are acquainted with the grizzly late abortion/infanticide procedure whereby the abortionist delivers the baby's body, feet first, all but the baby's head. At this point, a sharp object is plunged into the back of the baby's head which provides an opening for the baby's brains to be sucked out with a vacuum aspirator. The skull of the baby implodes, facilitating the delivery of a dead child through the woman's cervix.

The pro-abortion/infanticide letter of September 10, 1998 defending "partial birth" killing to which Bisno affixed his signature stated in part:

The debate surrounding reproductive choice speaks to one of the basic foundations upon which our country was established — the freedom of religion. It speaks to the right of individuals to be respected as moral decision makers, making choices based on their religious beliefs and traditions as well their consciences. ...

Abortion is a deeply personal issue. Women are capable of making moral decisions, often in consultation with their clergy, families and physicians, on whether or not to have an abortion. We believe that religious matters are best left to religious communities, not politicians. (As found on Randy Engel's The unborn child as a casualty of Catholic ecumenicalism. For other examples, please see Continuing to Knight Infidels.)

Rabbi Bisno has been joined by a number of other Talmudic confreres, most of the "reform" variety that supports the chemical and surgical execution of the innocent preborn and special "rights," including civil "marriage," for those engaged in unspeakably perverse actions in violation of the Sixth and Ninth Commandments. Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis's close friend and co-author, Abraham Skorka, is a pro-abortion, pro-perversity "reform" Talmudist who recently spoke at a conference that had been organized by the syncretist Focolare cult that was held in Castel Gandolfo. Francis the Illusionist embraced his good friend Skorka at his general audience of Wednesday, June 12, 2013, signifying that "differences" on such matters as the Sacred Divinity of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and and the slaughter of preborn and support for the sin of Sodom are really not that important as long as we "love another:"

Pope Francis' friends

“Dialogue means above all, learning how to step into the other person’s shoes,” said Rabbi Abraham Skorka, rector of the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary in Argentina, giving one of those inimitable lively and concrete illustrations that are typical of Jewish tradition and wisdom. Skorka is an old friend of Pope Francis’ with whom he co-authored the book Sobre el Cielo y la Tierra (On Heaven and Earth). The image of the shoes captures the meaning of the Jewish-Christian dialogue.

Dialogue as an act of putting ones self in another person’s shoes, listening, and trying to under stand and find out who the other person is, developing our ability to empathise is the key to interpreting the intense and wide-ranging interview that fills the pages of the book written by the then archbishop of Buenos Aires.  “We covered all topics: Argentina, the dictatorship, international issues, disarmament, religious issues, celibacy and Pius XII.” “We calmly examined everything, trying to understand each other and at the same time teach each other things…”

The meeting between the rabbi and the man who only a year or so later was to become Pope, left its mark on both of them: “Thanks to this dialogue I learnt about the meaning of the moment of death, for example. And in all humbleness, I think I left my mark on his heart as well,” Skorka said.

In biblical Hebrew, the verb “to know” is sometimes synonymous with the verb “to love”, to love a woman, to love God,” the Rabbi said. This is why dialogue needs to make it possible for a person to open their heart up to the other and that even when there is dissidence and disagreement between the two, they need to support each other and try to understand. The goal is for the two to be able to speak freely, to examine all issues until the point where there is silence because there is nothing left to say or because they have understood each other completely.”

The Argentinian rabbi attended the seminary on the spiritual dimension of dialogue – organised by the Focolare Movement in Castel Gandolfo – along with 11 Jewish representatives and 15 Christians.

Participants were also present at the Pope’s General Audience in St. Peter’s Square yesterday, before meeting Francis briefly. “Bergoglio was greeting someone but he saw me in the middle of the crowd, he recognised me because we had met before in Buenos Aires, and he told me how pleased he was to see me there. Then he asked me about our seminar. When we said our goodbyes he asked us to pray for him as he usually does,” said the Rabbi of Montevideo, Hodara Rafael.

The meeting in Castel Gandolfo made us realise “we are at a turning point in terms of the quality of Jewish-Christian dialogue,” Roberto Catalano of the Focolare Movement’s Centre for Interreligious Dialogue summed up at the end of the meeting. “The level of dialogue we are seeking now aims to make us better people; we want to learn from others and not just exchange ideas but have a spiritual exchange as well,” New York’s Rabbi Eric Tsvi Blanchard said. (When dialogue becomes a lifestyle.)

Yes, these acts of false ecumenism, which are hideous in the sight of God and help to convince Catholics and non-Catholics alike that the pro-abortion and pro-perversity work of non-Catholics is pleasing to God, which means that the importance of "interfaith relations" cannot stand in the way of "disagreements" over baby-killing and perversity. This is the public face of Catholicism most people see.

One of the great champions and pioneers of false ecumenism and "inter-religious" prayer services was none other than the worshiper of man known as Giovanni Montini/Paul the Sick, who, of course, was praised recently by Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis for his "service" to "mankind":

Pope Francis greeted a group of pilgrims from the Diocese of Brescia, who had just celebrated Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica to mark the 50th anniversary of the election of Pope Paul VI, who was from the area.

In his address, Pope Francis spoke of his predecessor’s love for Christ, love for the Church, and love for mankind.

Pope Francis began his tribute to Paul VI by recalling his witness, “in difficult years”, to faith in Jesus Christ. He said this “deep love” was not possessive, but compelled him to announce it, recalling his words in Manila during his apostolic journey to the Philippines: “Convinced of Christ: yes, I feel the need to proclaim him, I cannot keep silent,” Pope Paul VI had said. “He reveals the invisible God, he is the firstborn of all creation, the foundation of everything created. He is the Teacher of mankind, and its Redeemer... He is the centre of history and of the world; he is the one who knows us and who loves us; he is the companion and the friend of our life. He is the man of sorrows and of hope. It is he who will come and who one day will be our judge and - we hope -the everlasting fullness of our existence, our happiness.”

“Dear friends,” asked Pope Francis. “Do we have the same love for Christ? Is He the center of our lives? Do we witness this in our everyday actions?”Turning to Pope Paul VI’s love of the Church, Pope Francis said his predecessor had a “clear vision that the Church is a Mother who carries Christ and leads to Christ.”

He quoted the Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii nuntiandi:“After the Council and thanks to the Council, which was a time given her by God, at this turning-point of history, does the Church or does she not find herself better equipped to proclaim the Gospel and to put it into people's hearts with conviction, freedom of spirit and effectiveness?... Is she firmly established in the midst of the world and yet free and independent enough to call for the world's attention? Does she testify to solidarity with people and at the same time to the divine Absolute? Is she more ardent in contemplation and adoration and more zealous in missionary, charitable and liberating action? Is she ever more committed to the effort to search for the restoration of the complete unity of Christians, a unity that makes more effective the common witness?”

Pope Francis said these questions are also the ones which confront today’s Church.“ All of us, we are all responsible for the answers; and we should ask ourselves: Are we really a Church united to Christ, prepared to go out and announce Him to everyone, even, and especially, in what I call the ‘existential suburbs,’ or do we close in on ourselves, in our groups?” Pope Francis asked.

Finally, looking at Pope Paul VI’s love of mankind, Pope Francis said this is also linked with Christ. “It is the same passion of God that compels us to meet the man, to respect him, to recognize him, to serve him,” Pope Francis said.

He then quoted extensively from his predecessor’s address at the close of the Second Vatican Council: “Secular humanism, revealing itself in its horrible anti-clerical reality has, in a certain sense, defied the council. The religion of the God who became man has met the religion (for such it is) of man who makes himself God. And what happened? Was there a clash, a battle, a condemnation? There could have been, but there was none. The old story of the Samaritan has been the model of the spirituality of the council. A feeling of boundless sympathy has permeated the whole of it. The attention of our council has been absorbed by the discovery of human needs … But we call upon those who term themselves modern humanists, and who have renounced the transcendent value of the highest realities, to give the council credit at least for one quality and to recognize our own new type of humanism: we, too, in fact, we more than any others, honor mankind.” (Francis the Talking Apostate recalls Paul the Sick.)

Giovanni Montini/Paul the Sick's vision of reality was skewed by his sympathy for Marxism and his embrace of Modernism. This is what led him to believe that no clash had occurred between secular humanism and the proceedings of the "Second" Vatican Council as the latter was simply a canonization, if you will, of the former. Paul the Sick's approach to "the world" was one of pure Judeo-Masonry, something that can be seen in the passage from his last address to the "Second" Vatican Council that followed the one quoted by Francis the Illusionist yesterday, June 22, 2013, the Feast of Saint Paulinus of Nola:

And what aspect of humanity has this august senate studied? What goal under divine inspiration did it set for itself? It also dwelt upon humanity's ever twofold facet, namely, man's wretchedness and his greatness, his profound weakness—which is undeniable and cannot be cured by himself—and the good that survives in him which is ever marked by a hidden beauty and an invincible serenity. But one must realize that this council, which exposed itself to human judgment, insisted very much more upon this pleasant side of man, rather than on his unpleasant one. Its attitude was very much and deliberately optimistic. A wave of affection and admiration flowed from the council over the modern world of humanity. Errors were condemned, indeed, because charity demanded this no less than did truth, but for the persons themselves there was only warning, respect and love. Instead of depressing diagnoses, encouraging remedies; instead of direful prognostics, messages of trust issued from the council to the present-day world. The modern world's values were not only respected but honored, its efforts approved, its aspirations purified and blessed.

You see, for example, how the countless different languages of peoples existing today were admitted for the liturgical expression of men's communication with God and God's communication with men: to man as such was recognized his fundamental claim to enjoy full possession of his rights and to his transcendental destiny. His supreme aspirations to life, to personal dignity, to his just liberty, to culture, to the renewal of the social order, to justice and peace were purified and promoted; and to all men was addressed the pastoral and missionary invitation to the light of the Gospel. (Paul the Sick's Speech at the last public session of the false "Second" Vatican Council, December 7, 1965.)

Ah, yes, "the pleasant side of man, rather than the unpleasant one."

An attitude that "was very much and deliberately optimistic."

A "wave of affection and admiration" that "flowed from the council over the modern world of humanity."

We can see very well the "fruit" of this Judeo-Masonic spirit.

Millions of Catholics have fallen into rank unbelief.

Men and their nations have embraced one moral evil after another.

A quiet, creeping Socialism has overtaken the entirety of western Europe and the Americas, including the United States of America.

Hundreds upon hundreds of millions of innocent human beings have been killed by means of contraception, surgical abortion, vital organ "transplants" based upon the medical industry's manufactured myth of "brain death," and the rank power of the civil state in the execution of political dissidents.

The innocence and purity of the young have been undermined by the rot of explicit classroom instruction in matters pertaining to the Sixth and Ninth Commandments that began in earnest in formerly Catholic schools during the false "pontificate" of Giovanni Montini/Paul the Sick that has broken down the natural psychological resistance of children to that which is indecent. This systematic reprogramming in behalf of impurity and indecency has paved the way wide open for Catholic youngsters to embrace "rock and roll," immodesty of dress, impurity of conduct, indecency of speech, mutilation of their own bodies and the worship of sensual and material pleasures as representing the ultimate end of human existence.

Conciliar officials have "liberated" Catholics from any resistance to the horror of perverse acts against nature by rejecting what is called "homophobic behaviour," something that Justin Welby attributed Bergoglio/Francis as saying when they privately at the Casa Santa Marta on Friday, June 14, 2013 (see Two figures of Antichrist find common ground in talks at the Vatican.)

Yes, yes, yes.

"The pleasant side of man, rather than the unpleasant one."

An attitude that "was very much and deliberately optimistic."

A "wave of affection and admiration" that "flowed from the council over the modern world of humanity."

Yes, Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis, there is so much to celebrate about the life and the work of Giovanni Montini/Paul VI fifty years after his election as the second head of the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

Francis the Illusionist is delusional. He is stuck in a time warp that has him trapped in those "giddy" days of "optimism" and devotion to "mankind" during which he completed his indoctrination in conciliarism as he approached the day of his installation as a presbyter in its false church on Saturday, December 13, 1969, the Feast of Saint Lucy.

Although there has been much made lately of Gerhard Ludwig Muller's (see Deft? Daft Is More Like It, part two, Daft? Deft Is More Like It, part three, Does The Defense of Catholic Truth Matter To You?, When Will The Madness End?, part one, Memo To Bishop Fellay: Ratzinger/Benedict Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Loves Gerhard Ludwig Muller and All Together Now: Go Right Ahead, Gerhard, Make Our Day) support of liberation theology, the real father of this falsehood is none other than Paul the Sick as he "liberated" what he thought was the Catholic Church from the Social Reign of Christ the King, changing the very end for which our Divine King instituted His Holy Church, the sanctification and salvation of souls, to the "service of mankind." There is no need to express outrage at Gerhard Ludwig Muller or even Jorge Mario Bergoglio as both are faithful disciples of the true "liberator" of Catholics from the Catholic Church and her immutable teaching, Giovanni Montini/Paul Sick, whose cause for "beatification" is, of course, being advanced by his disciples in the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

Catholics have been "liberated" from the Social Reign of Christ the King in the name of the "civilization of love," "religious liberty," "respect for religions and cultures," "freedom of conscience" as the conciliar "liberators" have overthrown the "bastions" provided He has provided to Holy Mother Church by means of the Immemorial Mass of Tradition and her refusing to compromise with the spirit of the world in order to gain "acceptance" from men.

Pope Gregory XVI warned us in Mirari Vos, August 15, 1832, of the unavoidable fate that would befall those men and nations who embraced the anti-Incarnational errors of Modernity that are so celebrated by the conciliar "pontiffs," including Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis, as they hug and kiss the modern-day descendants of Herod the Great and Herod the Tetrarch, who was opposed to his face by Saint John the Baptist:

This shameful font of indifferentism gives rise to that absurd and erroneous proposition which claims that liberty of conscience must be maintained for everyone. It spreads ruin in sacred and civil affairs, though some repeat over and over again with the greatest impudence that some advantage accrues to religion from it. "But the death of the soul is worse than freedom of error," as Augustine was wont to say. When all restraints are removed by which men are kept on the narrow path of truth, their nature, which is already inclined to evil, propels them to ruin. Then truly "the bottomless pit" is open from which John saw smoke ascending which obscured the sun, and out of which locusts flew forth to devastate the earth. Thence comes transformation of minds, corruption of youths, contempt of sacred things and holy laws -- in other words, a pestilence more deadly to the state than any other. Experience shows, even from earliest times, that cities renowned for wealth, dominion, and glory perished as a result of this single evil, namely immoderate freedom of opinion, license of free speech, and desire for novelty.

Here We must include that harmful and never sufficiently denounced freedom to publish any writings whatever and disseminate them to the people, which some dare to demand and promote with so great a clamor. We are horrified to see what monstrous doctrines and prodigious errors are disseminated far and wide in countless books, pamphlets, and other writings which, though small in weight, are very great in malice. We are in tears at the abuse which proceeds from them over the face of the earth. Some are so carried away that they contentiously assert that the flock of errors arising from them is sufficiently compensated by the publication of some book which defends religion and truth. Every law condemns deliberately doing evil simply because there is some hope that good may result. Is there any sane man who would say poison ought to be distributed, sold publicly, stored, and even drunk because some antidote is available and those who use it may be snatched from death again and again? (Pope Gregory XVI, Mirari Vos, August 15, 1832.)

Pope Pius IX used his first encyclical letter

The Syllabus of Errors, December 8, 1864, specifically rejected the errors embraced by the conciliar "liberators" while at the same time rejecting  condemnation of the Catholic Church for refusing to do what the conciliarists have done by "reconciling" themselves to the "modern world" and its lies, each of which comes from the Master of Lies and the Prince of Darkness himself, the devil

77. In the present day it is no longer expedient that the Catholic religion should be held as the only religion of the State, to the exclusion of all other forms of worship. -- Allocution "Nemo vestrum," July 26, 1855.

78. Hence it has been wisely decided by law, in some Catholic countries, that persons coming to reside therein shall enjoy the public exercise of their own peculiar worship. -- Allocution "Acerbissimum," Sept. 27, 1852.

79. Moreover, it is false that the civil liberty of every form of worship, and the full power, given to all, of overtly and publicly manifesting any opinions whatsoever and thoughts, conduce more easily to corrupt the morals and minds of the people, and to propagate the pest of indifferentism. -- Allocution "Nunquam fore," Dec. 15, 1856.

80. The Roman Pontiff can, and ought to, reconcile himself, and come to terms with progress, liberalism and modern civilization.- -Allocution "Jamdudum cernimus," March 18, 1861.  (Pope Pius IX, The Syllabus of Errors, December 8, 1864.)

Can the contrast between Catholicism and conciliarism get any clearer?

Pope Pius IX was unafraid to name the enemies of the Church who were in the Nineteenth Century the very concepts that would receive the endorsement of the "Second" Vatican Council a century later and continues to be celebrated by the likes of Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis and his fellow revolutionaries now, fifty years after the "election" of Giovanni Montini as the second in the line of false "pontiffs:"

The faith teaches us and human reason demonstrates that a double order of things exists, and that we must therefore distinguish between the two earthly powers, the one of natural origin which provides for secular affairs and the tranquillity of human society, the other of supernatural origin, which presides over the City of God, that is to say the Church of Christ, which has been divinely instituted for the sake of souls and of eternal salvation.... The duties of this twofold power are most wisely ordered in such a way that to God is given what is God's (Matt. 22:21), and because of God to Caesar what is Caesar's, who is great because he is smaller than heaven. Certainly the Church has never disobeyed this divine command, the Church which always and everywhere instructs the faithful to show the respect which they should inviolably have for the supreme authority and its secular rights....

. . . Venerable Brethren, you see clearly enough how sad and full of perils is the condition of Catholics in the regions of Europe which We have mentioned. Nor are things any better or circumstances calmer in America, where some regions are so hostile to Catholics that their governments seem to deny by their actions the Catholic faith they claim to profess. In fact, there, for the last few years, a ferocious war on the Church, its institutions and the rights of the Apostolic See has been raging.... Venerable Brothers, it is surprising that in our time such a great war is being waged against the Catholic Church. But anyone who knows the nature, desires and intentions of the sects, whether they be called masonic or bear another name, and compares them with the nature the systems and the vastness of the obstacles by which the Church has been assailed almost everywhere, cannot doubt that the present misfortune must mainly be imputed to the frauds and machinations of these sects. It is from them that the synagogue of Satan, which gathers its troops against the Church of Christ, takes its strength. In the past Our predecessors, vigilant even from the beginning in Israel, had already denounced them to the kings and the nations, and had condemned them time and time again, and even We have not failed in this duty. If those who would have been able to avert such a deadly scourge had only had more faith in the supreme Pastors of the Church! But this scourge, winding through sinuous caverns, . . . deceiving many with astute frauds, finally has arrived at the point where it comes forth impetuously from its hiding places and triumphs as a powerful master. Since the throng of its propagandists has grown enormously, these wicked groups think that they have already become masters of the world and that they have almost reached their pre-established goal. Having sometimes obtained what they desired, and that is power, in several countries, they boldly turn the help of powers and authorities which they have secured to trying to submit the Church of God to the most cruel servitude, to undermine the foundations on which it rests, to contaminate its splendid qualities; and, moreover, to strike it with frequent blows, to shake it, to overthrow it, and, if possible, to make it disappear completely from the earth. Things being thus, Venerable Brothers, make every effort to defend the faithful which are entrusted to you against the insidious contagion of these sects and to save from perdition those who unfortunately have inscribed themselves in such sects. Make known and attack those who, whether suffering from, or planning, deception, are not afraid to affirm that these shady congregations aim only at the profit of society, at progress and mutual benefit. Explain to them often and impress deeply on their souls the Papal constitutions on this subject and teach, them that the masonic associations are anathematized by them not only in Europe but also in America and wherever they may be in the whole world. (Pope Pius IX, The Syllabus of Errors, December 8, 1864.)

Pope Saint Pius X also minced no words when it came to condemning the very ethos of Sillonism that was in and of itself a "reconciliation" of the Judeo-Masonic principles of the French Revolution that has received the "imprimatur" of the conciliar "popes" and their underlings:

This, nevertheless, is what they want to do with human society; they dream of changing its natural and traditional foundations; they dream of a Future City built on different principles, and they dare to proclaim these more fruitful and more beneficial than the principles upon which the present Christian City rests.

No, Venerable Brethren, We must repeat with the utmost energy in these times of social and intellectual anarchy when everyone takes it upon himself to teach as a teacher and lawmaker - the City cannot be built otherwise than as God has built it; society cannot be setup unless the Church lays the foundations and supervises the work; no, civilization is not something yet to be found, nor is the New City to be built on hazy notions; it has been in existence and still is: it is Christian civilization, it is the Catholic City. It has only to be set up and restored continually against the unremitting attacks of insane dreamers, rebels and miscreants. omnia instaurare in Christo. (Pope Saint Pius X, Notre Charge Apostolique, August 15, 1910.)

Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis, who has described his formation in liturgical studies as having been an "emancipated" one, rejects this entirely. Indeed, his "vision" of the Faith is expressed in totally Modernist terms, which is why the "stage" being prepared for his upcoming travesty of a liturgy at the syncretist festival of the horror of "rock" "music" and immodesty known as World Youth Day looks as though it was taken, replete with horns on either side of the Cranmer table, from the "Fortress of Solitude" that was featured in the Superman I and Superman II motion pictures with Christopher Reeve:

This travesty makes one want to find a "fortress solitude" to escape from the daily horrors that are being visited upon us by the conciliar "liberators."

What we must do, however, is to flee from the conciliar "liberators," recognizing that they have expelled themselves from the bosom of Holy Mother Church and have no authority to speak in the name of the Catholic Church, she who is the spotless, virginal spouse of her Divine Bridegroom and Invisible Head, Christ the King, and can thus never give us any taint of error or any kind of liturgy that is an incentive to impiety:

These firings, therefore, with all diligence and care having been formulated by us, we define that it be permitted to no one to bring forward, or to write, or to compose, or to think, or to teach a different faith. Whosoever shall presume to compose a different faith, or to propose, or teach, or hand to those wishing to be converted to the knowledge of the truth, from the Gentiles or Jews, or from any heresy, any different Creed; or to introduce a new voice or invention of speech to subvert these things which now have been determined by us, all these, if they be Bishops or clerics let them be deposed, the Bishops from the Episcopate, the clerics from the clergy; but if they be monks or laymen: let them be anathematized. (Constantinople III).

These and many other serious things, which at present would take too long to list, but which you know well, cause Our intense grief. It is not enough for Us to deplore these innumerable evils unless We strive to uproot them. We take refuge in your faith and call upon your concern for the salvation of the Catholic flock. Your singular prudence and diligent spirit give Us courage and console Us, afflicted as We are with so many trials. We must raise Our voice and attempt all things lest a wild boar from the woods should destroy the vineyard or wolves kill the flock. It is Our duty to lead the flock only to the food which is healthful. In these evil and dangerous times, the shepherds must never neglect their duty; they must never be so overcome by fear that they abandon the sheep. Let them never neglect the flock and become sluggish from idleness and apathy. Therefore, united in spirit, let us promote our common cause, or more truly the cause of God; let our vigilance be one and our effort united against the common enemies.

Indeed you will accomplish this perfectly if, as the duty of your office demands, you attend to yourselves and to doctrine and meditate on these words: "the universal Church is affected by any and every novelty" and the admonition of Pope Agatho: "nothing of the things appointed ought to be diminished; nothing changed; nothing added; but they must be preserved both as regards expression and meaning." Therefore may the unity which is built upon the See of Peter as on a sure foundation stand firm. May it be for all a wall and a security, a safe port, and a treasury of countless blessings. To check the audacity of those who attempt to infringe upon the rights of this Holy See or to sever the union of the churches with the See of Peter, instill in your people a zealous confidence in the papacy and sincere veneration for it. As St. Cyprian wrote: "He who abandons the See of Peter on which the Church was founded, falsely believes himself to be a part of the Church . . . .

But for the other painful causes We are concerned about, you should recall that certain societies and assemblages seem to draw up a battle line together with the followers of every false religion and cult. They feign piety for religion; but they are driven by a passion for promoting novelties and sedition everywhere. They preach liberty of every sort; they stir up disturbances in sacred and civil affairs, and pluck authority to pieces.(Pope Gregory XVI, Mirari Vos, August 15, 1832.)

Pope Pius IX used his first encyclical letter, Qui Pluribus, November 8, 1846, to mock (yes, mock) those who "extol progress the skies":

7. It is with no less deceit, venerable brothers, that other enemies of divine revelation, with reckless and sacrilegious effrontery, want to import the doctrine of human progress into the Catholic religion. They extol it with the highest praise, as if religion itself were not of God but the work of men, or a philosophical discovery which can be perfected by human means. The charge which Tertullian justly made against the philosophers of his own time "who brought forward a Stoic and a Platonic and a Dialectical Christianity" can very aptly apply to those men who rave so pitiably. Our holy religion was not invented by human reason, but was most mercifully revealed by God; therefore, one can quite easily understand that religion itself acquires all its power from the authority of God who made the revelation, and that it can never be arrived at or perfected by human reason. In order not to be deceived and go astray in a matter of such great importance, human reason should indeed carefully investigate the fact of divine revelation. Having done this, one would be definitely convinced that God has spoken and therefore would show Him rational obedience, as the Apostle very wisely teaches. For who can possibly not know that all faith should be given to the words of God and that it is in the fullest agreement with reason itself to accept and strongly support doctrines which it has determined to have been revealed by God, who can neither deceive nor be deceived? (Pope Pius IX, Qui Pluribus, November 9, 1846.)

Yes, God can nether deceive nor be deceived, which is why Francis the Liberator's comments yesterday, Sunday, June 23, 2013, the Fifth Sunday after Pentecost, during his Angelus address prove him yet again to believe that God the Holy Ghost had indeed deceived us at the Council of Florence when Pope Eugene IV promulgated Cantate Domino with his full authority as the infallible Successor of Saint Peter.

Here is a report on Francis the Liberator's Angelus remarks, which blaspheme both God the Holy Ghost and those who died for the Catholic Faith, the one and only true Faith, by saying that non-Catholics who "lose their life for the "truth" have done so for Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, followed by a passage from Cantate Domino:

The Pope then spoke of the Christians and non-Christians who "lose their life" for the truth, adding “those who serve the truth serve Christ.” (Those who serve the truth serve Christ.)

It [the Holy Roman Church] firmly believes, professes, and teaches that the matter pertaining to the law of the Old Testament, of the Mosaic law, which are divided into ceremonies, sacred rites, sacrifices, and sacraments, because they were established to signify something in the future, although they were suited to the divine worship at that time, after our Lord's coming had been signified by them, ceased, and the sacraments of the New Testament began; and that whoever, even after the passion, placed hope in these matters of the law and submitted himself to them as necessary for salvation, as if faith in Christ could not save without them, sinned mortally. Yet it does not deny that after the passion of Christ up to the promulgation of the Gospel they could have been observed until they were believed to be in no way necessary for salvation; but after the promulgation of the Gospel it asserts that they cannot be observed without the loss of eternal salvation. All, therefore, who after that time observe circumcision and the Sabbath and the other requirements of the law, it declares alien to the Christian faith and not in the least fit to participate in eternal salvation, unless someday they recover from these errors. Therefore, it commands all who glory in the name of Christian, at whatever time, before or after baptism, to cease entirely from circumcision, since, whether or not one places hope in it, it cannot be observed at all without the loss of eternal salvation. Regarding children, indeed, because of danger of death, which can often take place, when no help can be brought to them by another remedy than through the sacrament of baptism, through which they are snatched from the domination of the Devil and adopted among the sons of God, it advises that holy baptism ought not to be deferred for forty or eighty days, or any time according to the observance of certain people, but it should be conferred as soon as it can be done conveniently, but so ,that, when danger of death is imminent, they be baptized in the form of the Church, early without delay, even by a layman or woman, if a priest should be lacking, just as is contained more fully in the decree of the Armenians. . . .

It firmly believes, professes, and proclaims that those not living within the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics cannot become participants in eternal life, but will depart "into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels" [Matt. 25:41], unless before the end of life the same have been added to the flock; and that the unity of the ecclesiastical body is so strong that only to those remaining in it are the sacraments of the Church of benefit for salvation, and do fastings, almsgiving, and other functions of piety and exercises of Christian service produce eternal reward, and that no one, whatever almsgiving he has practiced, even if he has shed blood for the name of Christ, can be saved, unless he has remained in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church. (Pope Eugene IV, Cantate Domino, Council of Florence, February 4, 1442.)

Francis the Liberator preaches heresy.

Let me repeat myself: Francis the Liberator preaches heresy.

Pope Saint Pius X, writing in Pascendi Dominici Gregis, September 8, 1907, explained that Modernists seek to delude men's minds, which is precisely what Francis the Liberator is doing and what his predecessors as the universal public face of apostasy have done since October 28, 1958:

Would that they had but displayed less zeal and energy in propagating it! But such is their activity and such their unwearying labor on behalf of their cause, that one cannot but be pained to see them waste such energy in endeavoring to ruin the Church when they might have been of such service to her had their efforts been better directed. Their artifices to delude men's minds are of two kinds, the first to remove obstacles from their path, the second to devise and apply actively and patiently every resource that can serve their purpose. They recognize that the three chief difficulties which stand in their way are the scholastic method of philosophy, the authority and tradition of the Fathers, and the magisterium of the Church, and on these they wage unrelenting war. Against scholastic philosophy and theology they use the weapons of ridicule and contempt. Whether it is ignorance or fear, or both, that inspires this conduct in them, certain it is that the passion for novelty is always united in them with hatred of scholasticism, and there is no surer sign that a man is tending to Modernism than when he begins to show his dislike for the scholastic method. Let the Modernists and their admirers remember the proposition condemned by Pius IX: "The method and principles which have served the ancient doctors of scholasticism when treating of theology no longer correspond with the exigencies of our time or the progress of science." They exercise all their ingenuity in an effort to weaken the force and falsify the character of tradition, so as to rob it of all its weight and authority. But for Catholics nothing will remove the authority of the second Council of Nicea, where it condemns those "who dare, after the impious fashion of heretics, to deride the ecclesiastical traditions, to invent novelties of some kind...or endeavor by malice or craft to overthrow any one of the legitimate traditions of the Catholic Church"; nor that of the declaration of the fourth Council of Constantinople: "We therefore profess to preserve and guard the rules bequeathed to the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, by the Holy and most illustrious Apostles, by the orthodox Councils, both general and local, and by everyone of those divine interpreters, the Fathers and Doctors of the Church." Wherefore the Roman Pontiffs, Pius IV and Pius IX, ordered the insertion in the profession of faith of the following declaration: "I most firmly admit and embrace the apostolic and ecclesiastical traditions and other observances and constitutions of the Church.'' (Pope Saint Pius X, Pascendi Dominici Gregis, September 8, 1907.)

Those who have yet to come to the acceptance of the fact that sedevacantism is a canonical doctrine of the Catholic Church, not the "invention" of a small number of Catholics who fall outside of the "approval" of the self-appointed gatekeepers in the "resist but recognize" movement must face the facts as outlined in a detailed but nevertheless concise way in the Novus Ordo Watch Wire's systematic evisceration of the anti-sedevacantist opinionism that is on display very frequently on the Tradition in Action website to which Mr. Michael Creighton wrote a response, appended below yet again, following a shallow effort by an article on that site five years ago to "prove" that sedevacantism is false.

If sedevacantism is false in se, then why did the now deceased Mario Francesco "Cardinal" Pompedda, then the head of the conciliar church's Apostolic Signatura, admit in February of 2005 that it was part of the canonical doctrine of the Catholic Church?

It is true that the canonical doctrine states that the see would be vacant in the case of heresy. ... But in regard to all else, I think what is applicable is what judgment regulates human acts. And the act of will, namely a resignation or capacity to govern or not govern, is a human act. (Cardinal Says Pope Could Govern Even If Unable to Speak, Zenit, February 8, 2005; see also see also Gregorius's The Chair is Still Empty.)

Obviously, "Cardinal" Pompedda was not saying that the canonical doctrine of sedevacantism applied in these times. However, he did admit that it was part of the patrimony of the Holy Faith, something that "resist while recognize" Catholics refuse to admit lest their next great project or scheme to "restore" Tradition what is, whether or not they accept it, a false church that is but the counterfeit ape of the Catholic Church, and that it does indeed apply in these times of apostasy and betrayal.

No, this is not the path to popularity or to material success, and the the absence of the principle of unity represented by a true and legitimate Successor of Saint Peter has indeed given rise to all manner of problems within fully traditional Catholic venues and among the clergy of various camps.

However, truth is what it is, and we must follow the truth no matter what it costs us in terms of human respect and financial security.

As courageous a disciple of Christ the King as was the late Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, the founder of the Society of Saint Pius X, without whom there would not have been any kind of traditional "movement" whatsoever, he was not endowed with the personal charism of infallibility. This why those who knew the Archbishop personally and refuse to look objectively and dispassionately at the fact that the Archbishop was in error concerning how one could "resist while recognizing" a true and legitimate Roman Pontiff must take to heart Mr. Timothy Duff's brief essay on how many of them use Epithets to dismiss those who have come to recognize that the See of Peter is vacant and thus, yes, the Archbishop was in error on this point.

Catholics are not called to be "loyal" or "faithful" to Archbishop Lefebvre. They are called to be faithful to every article contained in the Sacred Deposit of Faith, including their acceptance of the fact that the Catholic Church never makes any terms with error of any kind:

As for the rest, We greatly deplore the fact that, where the ravings of human reason extend, there is somebody who studies new things and strives to know more than is necessary, against the advice of the apostle. There you will find someone who is overconfident in seeking the truth outside the Catholic Church, in which it can be found without even a light tarnish of error. Therefore, the Church is called, and is indeed, a pillar and foundation of truth. You correctly understand, venerable brothers, that We speak here also of that erroneous philosophical system which was recently brought in and is clearly to be condemned. This system, which comes from the contemptible and unrestrained desire for innovation, does not seek truth where it stands in the received and holy apostolic inheritance. Rather, other empty doctrines, futile and uncertain doctrines not approved by the Church, are adopted. Only the most conceited men wrongly think that these teachings can sustain and support that truth. (Pope Gregory XVI, Singulari Nos, May 25, 1834.)

In the Catholic Church Christianity is Incarnate. It identifies Itself with that perfect, spiritual, and, in its own order, sovereign society, which is the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ and which has for Its visible head the Roman Pontiff, successor of the Prince of the Apostles. It is the continuation of the mission of the Savior, the daughter and the heiress of His Redemption. It has preached the Gospel, and has defended it at the price of Its blood, and strong in the Divine assistance and of that immortality which has been promised it, It makes no terms with error but remains faithful to the commands which  it has received, to carry the doctrine of Jesus Christ to the uttermost limits of the world and to the end of time, and to protect it in its inviolable integrity. (Pope Leo XIII, A Review of His Pontificate, March 19, 1902.)

For the teaching authority of the Church, which in the divine wisdom was constituted on earth in order that revealed doctrines might remain intact for ever, and that they might be brought with ease and security to the knowledge of men, and which is daily exercised through the Roman Pontiff and the Bishops who are in communion with him, has also the office of defining, when it sees fit, any truth with solemn rites and decrees, whenever this is necessary either to oppose the errors or the attacks of heretics, or more clearly and in greater detail to stamp the minds of the faithful with the articles of sacred doctrine which have been explained. (Pope Pius XI, Mortalium Animos, January 6, 1928.)

Let, therefore, the separated children draw nigh to the Apostolic See, set up in the City which Peter and Paul, the Princes of the Apostles, consecrated by their blood; to that See, We repeat, which is 'the root and womb whence the Church of God springs,' not with the intention and the hope that 'the Church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth' will cast aside the integrity of the faith and tolerate their errors, but, on the contrary, that they themselves submit to its teaching and government. (Pope Pius XI, Mortalium Animos, January 6, 1928.)

Yes, The Chair is Still Empty, something that even the conciliar authorities themselves demonstrate on some occasions without meaning to do so:

Paul the Sick Audience Hall, Sunday, June 23, 2013, the Fifth Sunday after Pentecost

Here's the background on the empty chair (not throne, of course, given the egalitarian proclivities of the conciliarists) pictured just above:

Organizers say Pope Francis didn't show up for a concert in the Vatican due to other commitments.

The pontiff was expected at a Beethoven concert, but Monsignor Rino Fisichella told the audience just before the concert was to start that Francis couldn't make it due to "commitments that could not be postponed." He did not elaborate.

The pope was smiling with no signs of tiredness when he greeted worshippers at a Mass in St. Peter's earlier Saturday. Unlike his predecessor Benedict, who was well-known as a music lover, Francis has shown scant interest in music, liturgical or otherwise.

Papal spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi said he had nothing to add to Fisichella's statement, and that the pope has confirmed his Sunday commitments. (Francis the Liberator misses Vatican concert due to other commitments.)

Never mind the fact that Ludwig von Beethoven, a baptized Catholic who fell away from the practice of the Faith and said once that he wrote for himself and not for God, was a musical revolutionary in his own right whose "Ode to Joy," played frequently in the Protestant and Novus Ordo liturgical service throughout the world, was a celebration of the Judeo-Masonic belief in the "brotherhood of humanity" that is identical to that of conciliarism itself, Francis the Liberator is simply "too busy" liberating what he thinks is the Catholic Church from any trace of the big, bad "no church" of yesterday so that one and all can it in terms of "service to the poor" and not as the Divinely founded and infallibly guided immutable Mystical Bride of Christ the King to sanctify and save the souls of all men on earth.

Yes, we must liberate ourselves from the likes of Francis the Liberator and his compatriots.

The conciliarists have aided and abetted the creation of a world where Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ does not reign as King and where His Most Blessed Mother is not honored as its Immaculate Queen.

Such a world is one where most every man will live and think and act and speak naturalistically, not supernaturally according to the Mind of the Divine Redeemer as He has discharged It exclusively in the Catholic Church.

The Faith must be shunted aside in favor or the pursuit of wealth or popularity or career success or in favor of this or than naturalistic"system" of economic, social and political "order" to which which must be rendered an assent of faith and a due submission of will at all times. And while there were other forces that have been at work in the world for nearly seven centuries that are certainly responsible for this situation, it is also true that the "reconciliation" by the likes of Angelo Roncalli/John XXIII and Montini and Luciani and Wojtyla and Ratzinger and Bergoglio with the false principles of Modernity have made it possible for the last "bastions" of Catholicism against the world to be torn down. Only one who is willfully blind can ignore this truth.

We must grow in love more and more with God as He has revealed Himself through His true Church. We will come to hate our sins the more. We will seek to do voluntary penances for our sins and those of the whole world. We will be more attentive to the needs of the members of the Church Suffering in Purgatory. We will have more apostolic zeal for the salvation of souls, seeking to distribute Green Scapulars to those whom God's Holy Providence places in our paths each day. We will live for the Faith, not for the passing things of this world.

We must be champions of Christ the King as His consecrated slaves through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, never fearing the onslaughts of the figures of Antichrist that walk amongst us as long as we pray the Holy Rosary every day as well as to wear and to fulfill the conditions associated with the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, making sure to make reparation for our own sins which are so responsible for worsening the state of the world and the state of the Church Militant in this time of apostasy and betrayal.

Appendix

A Compendium of the Errors of the Society of Saint Pius X, compiled in 2009 by Mr. Michael Creighton (and reprinted with his permission, granted in 2009)

To briefly enumerate some of the problems in the SSPX, they are:

1  A rejection of the of the ordinary magisterium (Vatican I; Session III - Dz1792) which must be divinely revealed. For instance Paul VI claimed that the new mass and Vatican II were his “Supreme Ordinary Magisterium” and John Paul II promulgated his catechism which contains heresies and errors in Fide Depositum by his “apostolic authority” as “the sure norm of faith and doctrine” and bound everyone by saying who believes what was contained therein is in “ecclesial communion”, that is in the Church.

2  A rejection of the divinely revealed teaching expressed in Vatican I , Session IV, that the faith of Peter [the Pope] cannot fail. Three ancient councils are quoted to support this claim. (2nd Lyons, 4th Constantinople & Florence). Pope Paul IV’s bull Cum Ex Apostolatus Officio teaches the same in the negative sense of this definition.

3  A distortion of canon law opposed to virtually all the canonists of the Church prior to Vatican II which tell us a heretical pope ipso facto loses his office by the operation of the law itself and without any declaration. This is expressed in Canon 188.4 which deals with the divine law and footnotes Pope Paul IV’s bull, Cum ex Apostolatus Officio. The SSPX pretends that sections of the code on penalties somehow apply to the pope which flatly contradicted by the law itself. The SSPX pretends that jurisdiction remains in force when the code clearly says jurisdiction is lost and only ‘acts’ of jurisdiction are declared valid until the person is found out (canons 2264-2265). This is simply to protect the faithful from invalid sacraments, not to help heretics retain office and destroy the Church. Charisms of the office, unlike indelible sacraments, require real jurisdiction. The SSPX pretends that penalties of the censure of ipso facto excommunication cannot apply to cardinals since it reserved to Holy See (canon 2227). This is another fabrication since the law does not refer to automatic (latae sententiae) penalties but only to penalties in which a competent judge is needed to inflict or declare penalties on offenders. Therefore it only refers to condemnatory and declaratory sentences but not automatic sentences. To say that ipso facto does not mean what it says is also condemned by Pope Pius VI in Auctorem Fidei.

4  The SSPX holds a form of the Gallican heresy that falsely proposes a council can depose a true pope. This was already tried by the Council of Basle and just as history condemned those schismatics, so it will condemn your Lordship. This belief also denies canon 1556 “The First See is Judged by no one.” This of course means in a juridical sense of judgment, not remaining blind to apostasy, heresy and crime which automatically takes effect.

5  The SSPX denies the visible Church must manifest the Catholic faith. They claim that somehow these men who teach heresy can’t know truth. This is notion has been condemned by Vatican I, Session III, Chapter 2. It is also condemned by canon 16 of the 1917 code of canon law. Clearly LaSalette has been fulfilled. Rome is the seat of anti-Christ & the Church is eclipsed. Clearly, our Lords words to Sr. Lucy at Rianjo in 1931 have come to pass. His “Ministers [Popes] have followed the kings of France into misfortune”.

6  The SSPX reject every doctor of the Church and every Church father who are unanimous in stating a heretic ipso facto is outside the Church and therefore cannot possess jurisdiction & pretends that is only their opinion when St. Robert states “... it is proven, with arguments from authority and from reason, that the manifest heretic is ipso facto deposed.” The authority he refers to is the magisterium of the Church, not his own opinion.

7  Pope Pius XII’s Vacantis Apostolicae Sedis is misinterpreted by the SSPX to validly elect a heretic to office against the divine law. A public heretic cannot be a cardinal because he automatically loses his office. This decree only refers to cardinals and hence it does not apply to ex-cardinals who automatically lost their offices because they had publicly defected from the Catholic faith. The cardinals mentioned in this decree who have been excommunicated are still Catholic and still cardinals; hence their excommunication does not cause them to become non-Catholics and lose their offices, as does excommunication for heresy and public defection from the Catholic faith. This is what the Church used to call a minor excommunication. All post 1945 canonists concur that Vacantis Apostolicae Sedis does not remove ipso facto excommunication: Eduardus F. Regatillo (1956), Matthaeus Conte a Coronata (1950), Serapius Iragui (1959), A. Vermeersch - I. Creusen (1949), Udalricus Beste (1946) teach that a pope or cardinal or bishop who becomes a public heretic automatically loses his office and a public heretic cannot legally or validly obtain an office. Even supposing this papal statement could apply to non-Catholics (heretics), Pope Pius XII goes on to say “at other times they [the censures] are to remain in vigor.” Does this mean the Pope intends that a notorious heretic will take office and then immediately lose his office? It is an absurd conclusion, hence we must respect the interpretation of the Church in her canonists.

Errors/Heresies typical of an SSPX chapel attendees & priests:

1)  We are free to reject rites promulgated by the Church. [Condemned by Trent Session VII, Canon XIII/Vatican I, Session II]

2)  The Pope can’t be trusted to make judgments on faith and morals. We have to sift what is Catholic. [Condemned by Vatican I, Session IV, Chapter III.]

3) We are free to reject or accept ordinary magisterial teachings from a pope since they can be in error. This rejection may include either the conciliar ‘popes’ when teach heresy or the pre-conciliar popes in order to justify the validity of the conciliar popes jurisdiction, sacraments, etc [Condemned by Vatican I (Dz1792)/Satis Cognitum #15 of Leo XIII]

4)  The Kantian doctrine of unknowability of reality. We can’t know what is heresy, therefore we can’t judge. [Condemned by Vatican I, Session III, Chapter 2: On Revelation, Jn7:24].

5)  The faith of the Pope can fail. Frequently this is expressed as “we work for” or “we pray for the Popes conversion to the Catholic faith”. [condemned by Vatican I and at least 3 earlier councils mentioned above].

6)  Universal salvation, ecumenism, religious liberty, validity of the Old Covenant, etc. can be interpreted in a Catholic sense. [Condemned by every saint, every doctor of the Church and every Pope who comments on such issues; for instance Pope Eugene IV (Cantate Domino – Council of Florence)

7)  Contraries can be true. [Hegelian doctrine against Thomistic Philosophy]. If these positions appear to be contradictory, they are.

When I [Michael Creighton] point out these positions are against the Faith, frequently the Hegelian doctrine is employed by those in attendance at the SSPX chapel.
