Contrast The Outrage

Part One

by Thomas A. Droleskey

We live in a world of utter hypocrisy.

At the root of hypocrisy is the disordered self-love that human beings have for themselves as a result of the vestigial after-effects of Original Sin and the cumulative effects of their own Actual Sins. It is part of fallen human nature for men to consider themselves "better" than others, expressing all manner of sanctimonious outrage when the sins and failings of their fellow men, who are actually far less sinful in the eyes of God than are their human "judges," are exposed to public view.

Moreover, fallen man, who is but a contingent being who did not create himself and whose body is destined one day for the corruption of the grave until the General Resurrection of the dead on the Last Day at the time of the General Judgment of the living and the dead, is puffed up with such pride that he is prone to consider his station in life "better" than others.

To wit, there are many traditionally-minded Catholics who are as of yet still attached to the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism who look down their noses at those considered to be "outside of the Church," especially those scandalously in-fighting hooligans dismissed as "sedevacantists," people whose every word, no matter how consonant with Catholic teaching it might be, must be dismissed immediately merely because of the label, applied pejoratively, that is associated with them although they believe in everything that the Catholic Church has taught from time immemorial while at the same time recognizing that our mater and magistra here on earth can never give us any degree of error or ambiguity in her teaching, no less sacrilege in her liturgical ceremonies and rites.

One is, however, supposed to recognize that he is but dust, a sinner who is need of conversion away from his own fault and failings on a daily basis, a redeemed creature who has been the unmerited beneficiary of the graces won for him on the wood of the Holy Cross by the shedding of every single drop of the Most Precious Blood of his Divine Redeemer, Christ the King, as these graces flow into his heart and soul gratuitously through the loving hands of Our Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces.

One is supposed to recognize that he is in need of making reparation for his own sins and for those of the whole world, offering up whatever merit he might earn by so doing to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

One is supposed to understand that the little good that he does and the patient that he might exhibit in the midst of sufferings and humiliations, each of which he must be honest enough to admit that his sins richly deserve and are not as harsh as the they could be given the tender mercies of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus toward the erring who are striving for perfection despite their many falls, rejoicing in the fact that the good God has given him length of days so as to be able to correct his ways.

It is especially important in our own time of general chastisement as the forces of Modernity and Modernism combine to prepare the way for the coming of Antichrist, which may not be all that terribly far away as there are figures of Antichrist who walk amongst us, to remember that the divisions that exist among Catholics today that have caused rifts in families and longtime friends to become estranged must never be an occasion of sin for us. Never. We must accept the chastisements of the moment with joy and gratitude as our sins richly deserve them.

Yes, we deserve the chastisement being visited upon us by the conciliar revolutionaries, starting with Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI and his band of "cardinals" and "bishops" and "theologians," each of whom offends the Most Blessed Trinity daily in numerous ways, staring with the staging of the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo service.

We deserve the chastisement being visited upon us by such lords of Modernity as the Marxist-trained liar all-around empty suit named variously Barack Hussein Obama or Barry Soetoro (as likely reads on his college records, something that he did not disclose on his application for admission to the bar in the State of Illinois) and the man opposing him this year, the former Mormon missionary named Willard Mitt Romney, a man who is as much of a complete "pro-life" fraud as former United States Senator Robert Joseph Dole, Jr., and former President George Walker Bush and United States Senator John Sidney McCain IIII, put together and who changes his positions according to the dictates of electoral exigency.

Yes, we deserve this chastisement. Every single bit of it.

We live in a country that openly promotes the surgical execution of the innocent preborn under cover of the civil law.

We live in a country that openly promotes the frustration of the conception of children as the primary end of the gift given by God to used by a man and a woman in a lawful marriage for the continuation of the species on earth and to populate Heaven with new souls.

We live in a country that celebrates styles of dress that Our Lady herself warned Jacinta Marto before she died offended God greatly and would result in the ruination of many souls:

Certain fashions will be introduced that will offend Our Lord very much (see Father Louis J. Campbell on the Virtue of Modesty.)

We live in a country that gives free rein to error, one whose "Debt Clock" Began Ticking On July 4, 1776.

Yes, we deserve to be chastised, both individually and collectively in our nations.

We deserve to be chastised by God for our own infidelities that have worsened the state of the Church Militant here on earth during this time of apostasy and betrayal.

And, yes, we deserve to be chastised by our relatives and friends and former acquaintances and our associates as they have been chosen by God from all eternity to be the instruments of our own purification so that we might have a better chance to sanctify and save our immortal souls as we accept the punishments and suffering visited upon us with true joy and gratitude, keeping those who misunderstand us, reject us, castigate us and perhaps even calumniate us in our prayers as they are actually our best friends in that they are playing the roles that God desires to pummel us down into nothing before the eyes of the our fellow men. The only thing that matters is that each of us, no matter the divisions of the present moment, keeps close to Our Lady so that we can have her blessed assistance now and, yes, at the hour of our death, beseeching her for a happy reconciliation in eternity with all of those from whom we are estranged as a result the revolutionary forces at work in the world and in the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

Chastisements are signs of God's great, ineffable love for us ungrateful, self-centered recidivist sinner. He cannot help but look with love and pity upon us and our failings. Each chastisement, no matter how truly painful is a part of His Divine Plan for our salvation. We should not be worried when we suffer chastisements and when we are brought low in the eyes of men. Perish that thought. Perish it. Banish it entirely from your Catholic minds, hearts and souls. We should be worried when we do not suffer such chastisements as this is a sign that God's favor no longer rests with us.

Thus it is that Bishop Richard Williamson, who has suffered mightily now the past forty-five months, should feel particularly loved by God following his expulsion from the Society of Saint Pius X.

There is no need to to recount yet again points many in the articles posted on this site in the immediate aftermath of his interview that aired on Swedish television on Wednesday, January 21, 2009, three days before the official announcement from the conciliar Vatican that Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI had lifted the "excommunications" that had been imposed by Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II upon each of the four priests consecrated by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and co-consecrated by Bishop Antonio de Castro Mayer in Econe, Switzerland, on June 30, 1988, including Bishop Williamson, of course. Those articles ( Those Who Deny The Holocaust, Disciples of Caiphas, Under The Bus, Nothing New Under the Conciliar Sun, Story Time in Econe, Yes, Sir, Master Scribe and No Crime Is Worse Than Deicide) speak for themselves.

Although Bishop Williamson's interview that aired on Swedish television on January 21, 2009, served as the proximate causa belli for the conciliar authorities to demand that he retract his remarks and for Bishop Bernard Fellay, the Superior General of the Society of Saint Pius X, to use an excuse to get rid of fellow prelate he had long considered to be an irritant within the Society of Saint Pius X and an impediment to "reconciliation" with the conciliar authorities, the actual reason for all of the hypocritical outrage expressed against him by conciliar officials and by Fellay himself is that Bishop Williamson has been relentless in exposing the Judaizing underbelly of the "Second" Vatican Council and the "magisterium" of the conciliar "popes." This, above and beyond his stated views concerning the nature and extent of the crimes committed by the agents of Adolf Hitler's Third Reich, cannot be tolerated by the conciliar revolutionaries, who are, of course, ever-so-tolerant of blasphemy, error and sacrilege.

Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI has told us in his own words as the conciliar "pope" that one of the chief reasons for what he calls the "hermeneutic of continuity" between Tradition and the "magisterium" of the "Second" Vatican Council was to "learn" how to develop a "new relationship" with the "faith of Israel" in light of the crimes committed by the agents of the Third Reich in Nazi Germany, linking this also with concilairism's new view of Church-State relations:

Secondly, it was necessary to give a new definition to the relationship between the Church and the modern State that would make room impartially for citizens of various religions and ideologies, merely assuming responsibility for an orderly and tolerant coexistence among them and for the freedom to practise their own religion.

Thirdly, linked more generally to this was the problem of religious tolerance - a question that required a new definition of the relationship between the Christian faith and the world religions. In particular, before the recent crimes of the Nazi regime and, in general, with a retrospective look at a long and difficult history, it was necessary to evaluate and define in a new way the relationship between the Church and the faith of Israel.

These are all subjects of great importance - they were the great themes of the second part of the Council - on which it is impossible to reflect more broadly in this context. It is clear that in all these sectors, which all together form a single problem, some kind of discontinuity might emerge. Indeed, a discontinuity had been revealed but in which, after the various distinctions between concrete historical situations and their requirements had been made, the continuity of principles proved not to have been abandoned. It is easy to miss this fact at a first glance.

It is precisely in this combination of continuity and discontinuity at different levels that the very nature of true reform consists. In this process of innovation in continuity we must learn to understand more practically than before that the Church's decisions on contingent matters - for example, certain practical forms of liberalism or a free interpretation of the Bible - should necessarily be contingent themselves, precisely because they refer to a specific reality that is changeable in itself. It was necessary to learn to recognize that in these decisions it is only the principles that express the permanent aspect, since they remain as an undercurrent, motivating decisions from within. On the other hand, not so permanent are the practical forms that depend on the historical situation and are therefore subject to change.

It is clear that this commitment to expressing a specific truth in a new way demands new thinking on this truth and a new and vital relationship with it; it is also clear that new words can only develop if they come from an informed understanding of the truth expressed, and on the other hand, that a reflection on faith also requires that this faith be lived. In this regard, the programme that Pope John XXIII proposed was extremely demanding, indeed, just as the synthesis of fidelity and dynamic is demanding.. (Christmas greetings to the Members of the Roman Curia and Prelature, December 22, 2005)

For Ratzinger/Benedict to be correct, of course, God the Holy Ghost not only hid this "knowledge" that had to be "learned" but He permitted a solemn dogmatic council, the [First] Vatican Council, to declare the whole concept of viewing dogmatic statements in light of the historical circumstances in which they written. This means that, ipso facto, the Catholic Church has no infallibility whatsoever and that God the Holy Ghost misdirected the Fathers of the [First] Vatican Council and that the true popes who reiterated the condemnation were themselves mistaken.

What this apostasy? Why this blasphemy against God the Holy Ghost?

To please the Talmudists. That is why.

And that is why there can be no room for "coexistence" with Bishop Richard Williamson in the counterfeit church of conciliarism, which has used the propaganda served up by Talmudic organizations as the pretext for abandoning the Social Reign of Christ the King once and for all as it offends the tender sensibilities of those who hated the Holy Name of Jesus and who make unremitting warfare against anyone who dares to assert His Sacred Rights as the King of all men and nations. I know. See Chopped Liver No More, To Advocate Christ The King, Nothing Else and Chopped Liver No More Update.

The "Second" Vatican Council and the magisterium of the conciliar "popes" have catered to the ancient enemies of Christ the King at every turn, a point that is made amply by Mr. Hugh Akins in Synagogue Rising and that numerous articles on this site have documented in summary form. The "Second" Vatican Council was a Judaizing event from beginning to end, something that the founder of the Society of Saint Pius X, the late Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, knew and was unafraid to speak out about even though it "offended" the conciliar authorities. That Bishop Williamson is now considered by Bishop Fellay as an "irritant" and a "rebel" for pointing out consistently this simple truth is indeed the height of hypocrisy and represents something long-desired by "Pope" Benedict XVI, the "pacification of spirits" within the Society of Saint Pius X as it undergoes what he, repeating the very words of Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II before him, calls a "purification of memory."

No longer, though, is Bishop Fellay "outraged," at least not publicly, by the apostasies, sacrileges, blasphemies and errors of the conciliar revolutionaries (see What Lines Are You Reading Between, Bishop Fellay?).  He has joined the conciliar revolutionaries in expressing "outrage" at Bishop Richard Williamson as he has, admitting his adherence to the false ecclesiology of the Society of Saint Pius X, endeavored to defend that which is immutable, the articles contained in the Sacred Deposit of Faith, concluding for the public record that Bishop Williamson had distanced himself from the "management" and the "government" of the Society of Saint Pius X (see SSPX General House Communiqué concerning Bishop Williamson). The "impediment" to "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church has been removed.

To be in "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism, however, is to be in "full communion" with the conciliar "bishops," each of whom has been responsible for a vast, almost incomprehensible slaughter of souls, which make their "outrage" over Bishop Williamson's televised remarks  in 2009 nothing than than an exercise in rank hypocrisy.

To be in "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism is to be in "full communion" with "bishops" who, at least for the most part, noting a few exceptions here and there, express no outrage at all as their "priests" and members of conciliar-controlled religious communities and teachers and guest speakers go beyond even the "approved" apostasies of the counterfeit church of conciliarism to deny--quite openly and shamelessly--articles contained in the Deposit of Faith. Many of these "priests" and "religious" and teachers and guest speakers have put into question the nature of the Divine inspiration of Sacred Scripture and the historicity of the Gospels--including the miracles performed by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, including the miracle of His Bodily Resurrection on Easter Sunday, aping, of course, the conciliar "pope" himself.

To be in "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism is to be in "full communion" with men who have denied the Perpetual Virginity of Our Lady, including the man who hates the Society of Saint Pius X and will be conducting whatever "talks" on "regularization" with its representative, Gerhard Ludwig Muller, the prefect of the conciliar church's Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith.

To be in "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism is to be in "full communion" with me who have followed example set by this sect's false "pontiffs," by participating openly in syncretist liturgies and by blaspheming God by participating in inter-religious "prayer" services, some of which have involved the outright incorporation of pagan practices into what has purported to be "Catholic" liturgies.

To be in "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism is to be in "full communion" with men who have worked have worked closely with openly pro-abortion organizations (in the name of "social justice," of course), using a variety of "shell games" to funnel money from "Catholic" Charities and the "Catholic" Campaign for Human Development to fund these organizations that are committed to the pursuit of one abject evil after another (see Alinsky's Sheen.)

To be in "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism is to be in "full communion" with a sect where many in "good standing" within its ranks have endorsed the theological and ontological impossibility of "women's ordination."

To be in "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism is to be in "full communion" with "bishops," starting with Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI himself, who have opposed openly the Catholic Church's teaching concerning the admissibility of the imposition of the death penalty for capital crimes following the fulfillment of all of the requirements of due process of law.

To be in "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism is to be in "full communion" with ":bishops" who have, at least in most instances here in the United States of America, have supervised the integration of formerly Catholic hospitals with secular "health-care systems," looking the other way as babies have been killed by means of surgical abortions and as women have undergone elective sterilizations.

To be in "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism is to be in "full communion" with its "pope" and "bishops who have helped to convince Catholics and non-Catholics likes--by their doctrines and their words and their pastoral praxis--that it does not make any difference what they believe as each "religion" represents a "path" to God.

To be in "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism is to be in "full communion" with many "bishops" who have have promoted the false, naturalistic ideologies of socialism, communism, feminism, environmentalism and, among so many others, evolutionism, the "theistic" version of which is dear and near to the heart of Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI (see Listen to the Voice of God).

To be in "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism is to be in "full communion" with ":bishops" who have promoted and tolerated gross indecencies of dress and speech. Some have promoted motion pictures that promote various sins, oblivious to the simple fact that sin is what caused Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to suffer unspeakable horrors in His Sacred Humanity and caused His Blessed Mother's Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart to be pierced through and through with Seven Swords of Sorrow.

To be in "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism is to be in "full communion" with a "pope" who has placed into doubt the Catholic Church's teaching about Purgatory and the spatial realities of Heaven and Hell (see From Sharp Focus to Fuzziness).

To be in "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism is to be in "full communion" with "bishops" who, without any exception, undermine the innocence and the purity of the young by means of permitting and promoting explicit classroom instruction in matters pertaining to the Sixth and Ninth Commandments.

To be in "full communion" with the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism is to be in "full communion" with "bishops" who have participated in the systematic protection of their perverted brethren in the conciliar "hierarchy" and the conciliar "priesthood," participating in many instances in the systematic intimidation of those who dared to bring the perverted behavior to their attention in the first place.

Well, Bishop Williamson is now out of the way so that the "management" and the "government" of the Society of Saint Pius X can proceed with further "discussions" Gerhard Ludwig Muller.

Make no mistake about it, however. As noted before in this brief commentary (which has to be brief given the length of yesterday's article, Without Any Rational Foundation), over and above the comments televised on January 21, 2009, Bishop Richard Williamson's greatest "crime" is that he is unwilling to keep quiet about falsehood, blasphemy and sacrilege disguised in what is said to be Catholic doctrine and worship. This "crime" involves his refusal to be quiet about the Social Reign of Christ the King, about which Ratzinger/Benedict's Talmudic partners in "ecumenical dialogue" for the "betterment" of the world seek to eradicate from the minds of Catholics and that equate in their own patently demagogic way with "anti-Semitism.

Bishop Richard Williamson is not "anti-Semitic." He is anti-Jewish. So is the Catholic Church.

The Catholic Church is and must be opposed to all false religions, including Judaism. It is specifically for love of the immortal souls of those who adhere to the Talmud that the Catholic Church must pray for the conversion of the Jews as her children seek to use whatever contacts they make in their daily lives with Jewish people to ask God the Holy Ghost to guide them to accept the true Faith and thus save their immortal souls.

To contend that those who desire to seek the conversion of the Jews and who oppose the promotion of Talmudism as pleasing to God are "anti-Semitic" is to engage in a despicable, base appeal to ignorance and emotions that have nothing to do with the very words of the Divine Redeemer Himself and the example set by Saint Peter himself when he preached to the Biblical Jews (as opposed to the modern Talmudists) on Pentecost Sunday to seek and to win the conversion of over three thousand of them who had gathered in Jerusalem from many different parts of the Mediterranean.

Is it "anti-Semitic" a, to seek with urgency the unconditional conversion of those who adhere to the Talmud to the Catholic Faith?

Is it "anti-Semitic" to reiterate the perennial Catholic doctrine that the Old Covenant has been superseded by the New and Eternal Covenant that was instituted by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at the Last Supper on Holy Thursday and ratified by the shedding of every single drop of His Most Precious Blood on the wood of the Holy Cross on Good Friday?

Was Pope Pius XII guilty of "anti-Semitism" when he wrote the following right during the midst of World War II?

28.That He completed His work on the gibbet of the Cross is the unanimous teaching of the holy Fathers who assert that the Church was born from the side of our Savior on the Cross like a new Eve, mother of all the living. [28] "And it is now," says the great St. Ambrose, speaking of the pierced side of Christ, "that it is built, it is now that it is formed, it is now that is .... molded, it is now that it is created . . . Now it is that arises a spiritual house, a holy priesthood." [29] One who reverently examines this venerable teaching will easily discover the reasons on which it is based.

29.And first of all, by the death of our Redeemer, the New Testament took the place of the Old Law which had been abolished; then the Law of Christ together with its mysteries, enactments, institutions, and sacred rites was ratified for the whole world in the blood of Jesus Christ. For, while our Divine Savior was preaching in a restricted area -- He was not sent but to the sheep that were lost of the house of Israel [30] -the Law and the Gospel were together in force; [31] but on the gibbet of his death Jesus made void the Law with its decrees, [32] fastened the handwriting of the Old Testament to the Cross, [33] establishing the New Testament in His blood shed for the whole human race. [34] "To such an extent, then," says St. Leo the Great, speaking of the Cross of our Lord, "was there effected a transfer from the Law to the Gospel, from the Synagogue to the Church, from many sacrifices to one Victim, that, as our Lord expired, that mystical veil which shut off the innermost part of the temple and its sacred secret was rent violently from top to bottom." [35]

30. On the Cross then the Old Law died, soon to be buried and to be a bearer of death, [36] in order to give way to the New Testament of which Christ had chosen the Apostles as qualified ministers; [37] and although He had been constituted the Head of the whole human family in the womb of the Blessed Virgin, it is by the power of the Cross that our Savior exercises fully the office itself of Head in His Church. "For it was through His triumph on the Cross," according to the teaching of the Angelic and Common Doctor, "that He won power and dominion over the gentiles"; [38] by that same victory He increased the immense treasure of graces, which, as He reigns in glory in heaven, He lavishes continually on His mortal members it was by His blood shed on the Cross that God's anger was averted and that all the heavenly gifts, especially the spiritual graces of the New and Eternal Testament, could then flow from the fountains of our Savior for the salvation of men, of the faithful above all; it was on the tree of the Cross, finally, that He entered into possession of His Church, that is, of all the members of His Mystical Body; for they would not have been united to this Mystical Body. (Pope Pius XII, Mystici Corporis, June 29, 1943.)

Were Pope Eugene IV and the Fathers of the Council of Florence guilty of "anti-Semitism" when they issued Cantate Domino on February 4, 1442?

It [the Holy Roman Catholic Church] firmly believes, professes, and proclaims that those not living within the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics cannot become participants in eternal life, but will depart "into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels" [Matt. 25:41], unless before the end of life the same have been added to the flock; and that the unity of the ecclesiastical body is so strong that only to those remaining in it are the sacraments of the Church of benefit for salvation, and do fastings, almsgiving, and other functions of piety and exercises of Christian service produce eternal reward, and that no one, whatever almsgiving he has practiced, even if he has shed blood for the name of Christ, can be saved, unless he has remained in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church. (Cantate Domino, February 4, 1442.)

Was Pope Pius XI guilty of anti-Semitism when he instituted the very Feast of Christ the King that we celebrate this Sunday, October 28, 2012, by exhorting us to combat in behalf of the King of all men and all nations?

hat these blessings may be abundant and lasting in Christian society, it is necessary that the kingship of our Savior should be as widely as possible recognized and understood, and to the end nothing would serve better than the institution of a special feast in honor of the Kingship of Christ. For people are instructed in the truths of faith, and brought to appreciate the inner joys of religion far more effectually by the annual celebration of our sacred mysteries than by any official pronouncement of the teaching of the Church. Such pronouncements usually reach only a few and the more learned among the faithful; feasts reach them all; the former speak but once, the latter speak every year -- in fact, forever. The church's teaching affects the mind primarily; her feasts affect both mind and heart, and have a salutary effect upon the whole of man's nature. Man is composed of body and soul, and he needs these external festivities so that the sacred rites, in all their beauty and variety, may stimulate him to drink more deeply of the fountain of God's teaching, that he may make it a part of himself, and use it with profit for his spiritual life.

History, in fact, tells us that in the course of ages these festivals have been instituted one after another according as the needs or the advantage of the people of Christ seemed to demand: as when they needed strength to face a common danger, when they were attacked by insidious heresies, when they needed to be urged to the pious consideration of some mystery of faith or of some divine blessing. Thus in the earliest days of the Christian era, when the people of Christ were suffering cruel persecution, the cult of the martyrs was begun in order, says St. Augustine, "that the feasts of the martyrs might incite men to martyrdom." The liturgical honors paid to confessors, virgins and widows produced wonderful results in an increased zest for virtue, necessary even in times of peace. But more fruitful still were the feasts instituted in honor of the Blessed Virgin. As a result of these men grew not only in their devotion to the Mother of God as an ever-present advocate, but also in their love of her as a mother bequeathed to them by their Redeemer. Not least among the blessings which have resulted from the public and legitimate honor paid to the Blessed Virgin and the saints is the perfect and perpetual immunity of the Church from error and heresy. We may well admire in this the admirable wisdom of the Providence of God, who, ever bringing good out of evil, has from time to time suffered the faith and piety of men to grow weak, and allowed Catholic truth to be attacked by false doctrines, but always with the result that truth has afterwards shone out with greater splendor, and that men's faith, aroused from its lethargy, has shown itself more vigorous than before.

The festivals that have been introduced into the liturgy in more recent years have had a similar origin, and have been attended with similar results. When reverence and devotion to the Blessed Sacrament had grown cold, the feast of Corpus Christi was instituted, so that by means of solemn processions and prayer of eight days' duration, men might be brought once more to render public homage to Christ. So, too, the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus was instituted at a time when men were oppressed by the sad and gloomy severity of Jansenism, which had made their hearts grow cold, and shut them out from the love of God and the hope of salvation.

If We ordain that the whole Catholic world shall revere Christ as King, We shall minister to the need of the present day, and at the same time provide an excellent remedy for the plague which now infects society. We refer to the plague of anti-clericalism, its errors and impious activities. This evil spirit, as you are well aware, Venerable Brethren, has not come into being in one day; it has long lurked beneath the surface. The empire of Christ over all nations was rejected. The right which the Church has from Christ himself, to teach mankind, to make laws, to govern peoples in all that pertains to their eternal salvation, that right was denied. Then gradually the religion of Christ came to be likened to false religions and to be placed ignominiously on the same level with them. It was then put under the power of the state and tolerated more or less at the whim of princes and rulers. Some men went even further, and wished to set up in the place of God's religion a natural religion consisting in some instinctive affection of the heart. There were even some nations who thought they could dispense with God, and that their religion should consist in impiety and the neglect of God. The rebellion of individuals and states against the authority of Christ has produced deplorable consequences. We lamented these in the Encyclical Ubi arcano; we lament them today: the seeds of discord sown far and wide; those bitter enmities and rivalries between nations, which still hinder so much the cause of peace; that insatiable greed which is so often hidden under a pretense of public spirit and patriotism, and gives rise to so many private quarrels; a blind and immoderate selfishness, making men seek nothing but their own comfort and advantage, and measure everything by these; no peace in the home, because men have forgotten or neglect their duty; the unity and stability of the family undermined; society in a word, shaken to its foundations and on the way to ruin. We firmly hope, however, that the feast of the Kingship of Christ, which in future will be yearly observed, may hasten the return of society to our loving Savior. It would be the duty of Catholics to do all they can to bring about this happy result. Many of these, however, have neither the station in society nor the authority which should belong to those who bear the torch of truth. This state of things may perhaps be attributed to a certain slowness and timidity in good people, who are reluctant to engage in conflict or oppose but a weak resistance; thus the enemies of the Church become bolder in their attacks. But if the faithful were generally to understand that it behooves them ever to fight courageously under the banner of Christ their King, then, fired with apostolic zeal, they would strive to win over to their Lord those hearts that are bitter and estranged from him, and would valiantly defend his rights.

Moreover, the annual and universal celebration of the feast of the Kingship of Christ will draw attention to the evils which anticlericalism has brought upon society in drawing men away from Christ, and will also do much to remedy them. While nations insult the beloved name of our Redeemer by suppressing all mention of it in their conferences and parliaments, we must all the more loudly proclaim his kingly dignity and power, all the more universally affirm his rights. (Pope Pius XI, Quas Primas, December 11, 1925.)

Pope Pius XI, the great apostle of the Social Reign of Christ King, the Sovereign Pontiff whose very motto was "The Peace of Christ in the Kingdom of Christ," instituted the Feast of Christ the King and placed it on the last Sunday of October, the very Sunday that Protestants commemorate "World Protestant Day" to observe the hideous Luther's posting of his ninety-five theses on the door of Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, on October 31, 1517, nearly four hundred ninety-five years ago now. Pope Pius XI wanted to remind everyone, Catholics and non-Catholics alike, that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is indeed the King of both men and their nations.

The lords of the counterfeit church of conciliarism, rejecting as they do the Social Reign of Christ the King, have removed the Feast of Christ the King from last Sunday of October, placing it on the last Sunday of its liturgical year, which is called the "thirty-third Sunday of Ordinary Time." This is no accident as the conciliarists, having rejected the Social Reign of Christ the King, emphasize His eschatological Kingship at the end of time, not over men and their nations in time before then.

Pope Pius XI placed this great Feast on the last Sunday of October as there are four weeks left in the Church's liturgical calendar prior to the beginning of a new liturgical year on the First Sunday of Advent. This signifies the simple fact that just as there is time left in the liturgical calendar so is there time left before the Second Coming of Christ the King at the end of time to judge the living and the dead. Our King, Christ the King is meant to reign now--in this life before His Second Coming in glory--as the King of men and their nations without any exception whatsoever.

Michael Davies, the great apostle of the Social Reign of Christ the King, noted how the conciliarists removed a number of readings derived from Quas Primas in their "revised" "Office of Readings." The late Mr. Davies also explained how Archbishop Annibale Bugnini changed the texts of the Mass of Christ the King as found in the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo liturgical service to signify the eschatological, not the social, Kingship of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (see The Reign of Christ the King).

Bishop Richard Williamson does not fit in with the counterfeit church of conciliarism's "reconciliation" with the Protestant Revolution's overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King that has been used by Talmudists to spread one anti-Incarnational lie of naturalism after another through the Masonic lodges with which they are so greatly affiliated and in which not a few of them exercise great influence as "lodge brothers." He disturbs the "good order" of conciliarism's new "relationship" with the "faith of Israel." In other words, Bishop Williamson, a strong disciple of Christ the King and a firm opponent of all naturalistic heresies, including Americanism (see Americanism and Vatican II), is a faithful son of the Catholic Church, which is one can hope that "Gregorius," if he is reading this article, will send a hard copy of The Chair is Still Empty to His Excellency in England.

Bishop Richard Williamson is simply following the learned, courageous example of Father Denis Fahey, who, other than our true popes and the late Louis Edouard Cardinal Pie, the Bishop of Poitiers, France, from May 23, 1849, to May 18, 1880, is the greatest explicator of the Social Reign of Christ the King who has ever lived, who explained in two simple sentences why Bishop Williamson had to be expelled from the Society of Saint Pius X in order to appease those in the counterfeit church of conciliarism, who themselves must always seek to appease the ancient enemies of Christ the King:

The term “anti-semitism,” with all its war connotation of Nazi cruelty, is now having its comprehension widened to include every form of opposition to the Jewish nation’s naturalistic programme. Forgetfulness of the disorder of Jewish naturalism is keeping Catholics blind to the consequences of accepting the term with its Jewish comprehension. According to the leaders of the Jewish nation, to stand for the rights of Christ the King is to be an anti-Semite. (Father Denis Fahey, The Kingship of Christ and the Conversion of the Jewish Nation.)

We should be outraged over the treatment accorded God by the conciliar revolutionaries, and we should be outraged that those such as Bishop Richard Williamson who continue to stand fast against those revolutionaries' unremitting warfare on the Catholic doctrine, including the Social Reign of Christ, are treated with contempt and consigned to ignominy.

Yes, as noted at the beginning of this brief commentary, it is good to be ground into the dirt and pummeled. Very good. Still and all, though, every defender of the Social Reign of Christ the King should stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Bishop Williamson at this time as false outrage is expressed against by those who refuse to express outrage at that which offends the honor, majesty and the glory of the Most Blessed Trinity and is thus harmful to souls and to the right ordering of the world under Its rightful King.

We must be firm in our resolve to pray most fervently for the conversion of those who are steeped in the falsehoods and the errors of false religions, including those trapped in the sect of One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism s we make reparation for our many sins, which are so responsible for the state of the Church Militant on earth and that of the world-at-large, as the consecrated slaves of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of His Most Blessed Mother, Mary our Immaculate Queen, especially by praying as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit.

We must be as calm as the seas that were calmed by Our Lord Himself in the episode related in yesterday's Gospel. We are in Our Lady's hands. We must pray that more and more Catholics will come to reject conciliarism refuse to make any concessions to the demands of those who deny His Sacred Divinity as they promote all manner of evils under cover of the civil law and in every aspect of popular culture. We must also make whatever sacrifices that are necessary so that we can avail ourselves of daily Mass offered at the hands of our true shepherds in the Catholic catacombs, remember these words that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ spoke to Saint Gertrude the Great and to Saint Teresa of Avila:

For each Mass we hear with devotion, Our Lord sends an additional saint to comfort us at death. (Revelation of Christ to St. Gertrude the Great.). . . .

Once, St. Teresa of Avila was overwhelmed with God's Goodness and asked Our Lord, "How can I thank you?" Our Lord replied, "ATTEND ONE MASS." (Divine Mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary, p. 285.)

Each of us is called be a "sign of contradiction" in imitation of the One who was prophesied to by the aged Simeon to His Most Blessed Mother to be THE Sign of Contradiction, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, being willing to run the risk of ridicule and ostracism and humiliation and all manner of calumny for willingness to stand fast with the true shepherds as reject any notion at all that the Catholic Church could be responsible in any manner whatsoever for the apostasies, blasphemies, sacrileges and other outrages promoted by the counterfeit church of conciliarism. The hour is very late. Figures of Antichrist walk amongst us. We must never project Catholicism into the Modernist minds and hearts of men who have long ago defected from the Faith and who are the living embodiments of these very words spoken by Our Lord Himself:

For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. Behold I have told it to you, beforehand. (Matthew 24: 24.)

False "popes" and false "bishops" cater to the enemies of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. True bishops and true priests submit themselves to Him as He has revealed Himself to us through His true Church without a shadow of change. We must reject the false outrage of those who commit outrages against Christ the King as we pray to Our Lady that will rejoice and give thanks to God through her Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart for choosing us unworthy souls to live in times that demand of us white martyrdom at the hands of our very relatives and friends and may one day, perhaps sooner than later, demand actual bloody martyrdom from us.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon!
