Abiding Biden And His "Counsel"
by Thomas A. Droleskey
TIMOTHY DOLAN: No, although I appreciate very much the Vice President.
He has been helpful and I-- I-- I have benefitted from his counsel and I
look forward to talking to him again. So I am glad he weighed in on it
but I would disagree with him. It hasn't helped us much, Bob, because--
because we still have to pay for it, because most of us are self-insured
and we are still worried not just about our institutions but also the
individuals. So we still find ourselves in a very tough spot, and we're
still going to continue to express what we believe is just not a
religious point of view but a constitutional point of view that
America's at her best when the government doesn't force a citizen or a
group of citizens in a religious creed to violate their deepest held
moral convictions. (Page Four of the Transcript from Face the Nation, Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012.)
Yes, the "happy" non-cardinal, Timothy Dolan, who has been the conciliar "archbishop" of New York since April 15, 2009, said in an interview broadcast thirty-one days ago now, that he was had "benefitted" from the "counsel" of the pro-abortion Vice President of the United States of America, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., who maintains his "good standing" in the counterfeit church of conciliarism despite his unrepentant support for chemical and surgical baby-killing under cover of the civil law. Will "Cardinal" Dolan still abide by the "counsel" of the avuncular, profane Biden (see When "Boys Will Be Boys" They Grow Up to Be Men Like Joe Biden) even after he has said two days ago, that is, on Sunday, May 6, 2012, that he is "getting absolutely comfortable" with "gay marriage":
DAVID GREGORY: You raise social policy. I'm curious. You know, the president has said that his views on gay marriage, on same-sex marriage have evolved. But he's opposed to it. You're opposed to it. Have your views-- evolved?
VICE PRESIDENT BIDEN: Look-- I just think-- that-- the good news is that as more and more Americans become to understand what this is all about is a simple proposition. Who do you love? Who do you love? And will you be loyal to the person you love? And that's what people are finding out is what-- what all marriages, at their root, are about. Whe-- whether they're-- marriages of lesbians or gay men or heterosexuals.
DAVID GREGORY: Is that what you believe now? Are you--
VICE PRESIDENT BIDEN: That's what I believe.
DAVID GREGORY: And you're comfortable with same-sex marriage now?
VICE PRESIDENT BIDEN: I-- I-- look, I am vice president of the United States of America. The president sets the policy. I am absolutely comfortable with the fact that men marrying men, women marrying women, and heterosexual men and women marrying another are entitled to the same exact rights, all the civil rights, all the civil liberties. And quite frankly, I don't see much of a distinction-- beyond that.
DAVID GREGORY: In a second term, will this administration come out behind same-sex marriage, the institution of marriage?
VICE PRESIDENT BIDEN: Well, I-- I-- I can't speak to that. I-- I-- I-- I don't know the answer to that. But I can tell you--
DAVID GREGORY: It sounds like you'd like to see it happen. If that's what the president would get--
VICE PRESIDENT BIDEN: Well, the president continues to fight, whether it's Don't Ask, Don't Tell or whether it is making sure, across the board, that you cannot discriminate. Look-- look the the executive orders he's put in place. Any hospital that gets federal funding, which is almost all of them, they can't deny a partner from being able to have access to their-- their-- their partner who's ill or making the call on whether or not they-- you know-- it's just-- this is evolving.
And by the way, my measure, David, and I take a look at when things really begin to change, is when the social culture changes. I think Will and Grace probably did more to educate the American public than almost anything anybody's ever done so far. And I think-- people fear that which is different. Now they're beginning to understand. They're beginning to understand that this as a base--
I-- I was with-- speaking to a group of gay leaders in-- in Los Angeles-- la-- two, two weeks ago. And one gentleman looked at me in the question period and said, "Let me ask you, how do you feel about us?" And I had just walked into the back door of this gay couple and they're with their two adopted children. And I turned to the man who owned the house. I said, "What did I do when I walked in?" He said, "You walked right to my children. They were seven and five, giving you flowers." And I said, "I wish every American could see the look of love those kids had in their eyes for you guys. And they wouldn't have any doubt about what this is about." (Transcript of Meet the Press, National Broadcasting Company, Sunday, May 6, 2012.)
Apart from the absolute idiocy of Biden's remarks (does Biden traffic in anything other than cliched idiocies?), which will be dealt with in short order, I have a question for the man who has been championed by some Catholics as a candidate for man of the year, "Cardinal" Dolan. Why would you want to seek the "counsel" of a man who can utter such utter rubbish that no rightly formed member of the Catholic Church could ever dream of uttering? All right. I'll throw in a second question for "Cardinal" Dolan while I am at it. Why would you seek the "counsel" of a man whose mind is so far removed from of the Divine Redeemer, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Christ, as to be influenced about "gay marriage" by some kind of television program named Will and Grace?
Guess what? I have the answer without his writing back to me.
Here it is, one answer for two questions: Because "Cardinal" Dolan speaks idiocies all of the time. There you have it.
Just a little review. Drum roll, please, Sammy Spear, drum roll:
"Thanksgiving is a time of the year when people are open to the Lord, and
we don't think about ourselves. We're grateful to God. We're conscious
that somebody, some call him or her, whatever you want, somebody beyond
us is in charge, and we are immensely grateful. (Is 'Superman' Catholic?; see Whatever You Want.)
"I have long admired the work of the Anti-Defamation League from
afar, and now to receive your welcome and your assurances of our hope
for future cooperation, which I enthusiastically share, means very much
to me." (Press Release of the Anti-Defamtion League.)
"To have the man we call the
vicar of Christ go to a synagogue is of earthquake proportions,"
Archbishop Dolan said.
Archbishop Dolan said Pope Benedict's Oct. 27 meeting in Assisi, Italy,
with leaders of other faiths could not have happened 50 years ago. (Catholics, Jews urged to work together to promote the heresy of religious liberty; see also Extra! Extra! Read All About It! Dolan Finally Speaks The Truth.)
Mind you, the brevity of this recitation of the stupid remarks made by Timothy "Cardinal" Dolan, who wore a "cheesehead" miter in honor of the Green Bay Packers briefly at the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo liturgical service shortly a little over a week after his installation as the conciliar "archbishop" of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on September 8, 2002, the Feast of the Nativity of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, is meant to serve as a time-save for the readers of this site.
More pertinent to this commentary is how Timothy "Cardinal" Dolan approached Andrew Mark Cuomo, the Governor of the State of New York, in 2011 as the New York State Legislature as it was considering Cuomo's legislative initiative to legalize "marriage" between persons of the same gender:
Mr. Cuomo even spoke to Archbishop Dolan about the push for same-sex
marriage, emphasizing his respect and affection for the religious
leader. An adviser described the governor’s message to Archbishop Dolan
this way: “I have to do what I have to do. But your support over all is
very important to me.”
By the time a Catholic bishop from Brooklyn traveled to Albany last week
to tell undecided senators that passing same-sex marriage “is not in
keeping with the will of their people,” it was clear the church had been
outmaneuvered by the highly organized same-sex marriage coalition, with
its sprawling field team and, especially, its Wall Street donors.
“In many ways,” acknowledged Dennis Poust, of the New York State
Catholic Conference, “we were outgunned. That is a lot to overcome.” (Behind N.Y. Perverted Marriage Bill, an Unlikely Mix of Forces, page 3.)
Timothy "Cardinal" Dolan, the " happy" "archbishop" of the Archdiocese of New York, could only muster a meek "I have to do what I have to do" in "reaching out" to the pro-abort, pro-perversity publicly scandalous sinner who is the Governor of the State of New York, Andrew Mark Cuomo, a man who makes his pro-abort, pro-perversity demagogue of a father, former Governor Mario Matthew Cuomo, seem positively "conservative" by comparison. "I have to do what I have to do." What's he going to say, if anything, to Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., now that this sixty-nine year old "wunderkind" has said that he is "absolutely comfortable" with "gay marriage"?
This is not exactly the stuff of Saint John the Baptist, whose remonstration of Herod the Tetrarch is recorded in the Gospel According to Saint Luke:
[11] And he answering, said to them: He that hath two coats, let him give to
him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do in like manner. [12] And the publicans also came to be baptized, and said to him: Master, what shall we do? [13] But he said to them: Do nothing more than that which is appointed you. [14] And the soldiers also asked him, saying: And what shall we do? And he
said to them: Do violence to no man; neither calumniate any man; and be
content with your pay. [15] And as the people were of opinion, and all were thinking in their hearts of John, that perhaps he might be the Christ;
[16] John answered, saying unto all: I indeed baptize you with water; but
there shall come one mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am
not worthy to loose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with
fire: [17] Whose fan is in his hand, and he will purge his floor, and will gather
the wheat into his barn; but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable
fire. [18] And many other things exhorting, did he preach to the people. [19] But Herod the tetrarch, when he was reproved by him for Herodias, his
brother's wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done; [20] He added this also above all, and shut up John in prison. (Luke 3: 11-20.)
Timothy Dolan, the man who made light of how one can refer to God by saying that we could call Him whatever you want, is far, far from the spirit of Pope Saint Gregory the Great:
The Lord reproaches them through the prophet: They are dumb dogs that cannot bark. On another occasion he complains: You
did not advance against the foe or set up a wall in front of the house
of Israel, so that you might stand fast in battle on the day of the
Lord. To advance against the foe involves a bold resistance
to the powers of this world in defense of the flock. To stand fast in
battle on the day of the Lord means to oppose the wicked enemy out of
love for what is right.
When a pastor has been afraid to assert what is right, has
he not turned his back and fled by remaining silent? Whereas if he
intervenes on behalf of the flock, he sets up a wall against the enemy
in front of the house of Israel. Therefore, the Lord again says to his unfaithful people: Your prophets saw false and foolish visions and did not point out your wickedness, that you might repent of your sins. The name of the prophet is sometimes given in the sacred writings to
teachers who both declare the present to be fleeting and reveal what is
to come. The word of God accuses them of seeing false visions because
they are afraid to reproach men for their faults and thereby lull the
evildoer with an empty promise of safety. Because they fear reproach,
they keep silent and fail to point out the sinner’s wrongdoing.
The word of reproach is a key that unlocks a door, because
reproach reveals a fault of which the evildoer is himself often unaware.
That is why Paul says of the bishop: He must be able to encourage men in sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it. For the same reason God tells us through Malachi: The
lips of the priest are to preserve knowledge, and men shall look to him
for the law, for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts. Finally, that is also the reason why the Lord warns us through Isaiah: Cry out and be not still; raise your voice in a trumpet call.
Anyone ordained a priest undertakes the task of preaching, so that
with a loud cry he may go on ahead of the terrible judge who follows.
If, then, a priest does not know how to preach, what kind of cry can
such a dumb herald utter? It was to bring this home that the Holy Ghost
descended in the form of tongues on the first pastors, for he causes
those whom he has filled, to speak out spontaneously. (For two different
translations, see: The Book of Pastoral Rule and That the ruler should be discreet in keeping silence, profitable in speech .)
"I have to do what I have to do."
Timothy Dolan, who is the President of the misnamed United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, might say something along the lines of "Well, Joe, I disagree with ya on this one" as he pointed the number of statements he and his brother non-bishops in the counterfeit church of conciliarism had made in defense of the simple truth that marriage can take place only between a man and a woman. However, even when the conciliar "bishops" have opposed "gay marriage," they have done so principally on secular grounds.
This is what his brother "non-bishop" across the East River from him, Nicholas Anthony
DiMarzio, the conciliar "bishop" of Brooklyn, who wrote the following that appeared in the online edition of
the New York Daily News on Sunday, June 26, 2011, the Sunday
within the Octave of Corpus Christi (and the External Solemnity of the
Feast of Corpus Christi here in the United States of America where this
great feast has, most tragically, never been a Holy Day of Obligation):
The children of our state deserve the best. We put in place public
policies to ensure that children have the proper nutrition, the best
education available and are safe from harms way.
There is no
question that our society genuinely values the young. Yet, despite these
efforts, the number of young people suffering from emotional disorders
is disconcerting and our teen suicide rate is alarming.
Sociologists
and psychologists agree that stable families where a mother and father
live together in a loving union are a key predicator of a child's future
health, well-being and success.
In other words, this is the best
or ideal circumstances for our children for which we should all strive.
This arrangement just seems to be built into our DNA.
Tragically,
we no longer understand the primary purpose of marriage as the
institution by which a man and woman bring new life into the world and
teach the child to become a productive citizen.
In striving for
that end, the man and woman discover their own mutual consolation.
Tragically, we somehow have come to view marriage as legitimizing our
individual need for love and affection.
As a consequence we have
all witnessed the surge in numbers of divorce, single parenthood and
cohabitation outside of marriage. Not even thirty years ago this would
have been almost unthinkable and certainly scandalous.
I believe the passage of same sex marriage is another "nail in the coffin" of marriage.
It
is destructive because we fail to view marriage in the context of a
vocation: a calling to participate in the great enterprise of forming
the next generation.
Marriage is reduced to an empty honor.
We
who opposes Same-sex Marriage are not callous to the very real human
longings for friendship, affection and belonging that proponents of this
legislation espouse as the rational "Marriage Equality".
Indeed,
we like other New Yorker discuss these issues with our friends, family,
co-workers and loved ones who have same-sex attractions. We have in part
failed as the proponents of the historical understanding of marriage as
that between a man and a woman precisely because we have sought to be
sensitive to those who have same-sex attractions. Perhaps we must now
speak more forcefully and clearly.
As the chief shepherd of the Catholics in our City's two most populous boroughs, Brooklyn and Queens, the decision of our Catholic Governor and State Legislature
to overturn the common understanding of marriage that, despite many
developments over thousands of years, has always been understood between
a man and woman. That there was virtually no public debate on the issue
and that the entire matter was concluded in just over thirty-minutes
late on a Friday evening is disgraceful.
As a protest, I have
asked my collaborators not to bestow or accept honors, nor to extend a
platform of any kind to any state elected official, in all our parishes
and churches for the foreseeable future.
Our children in NY State deserve the best and unfortunately there seem to be very few if any "Profiles in Courage." (Brooklyn Bishop calls gay marriage law sinful; the title of this article is inaccurate as there was no reference whatsoever made to sin in its text.)
Stable families? Keeping children safe? What about pleasing God? What about His justice? What about His holy wrath?
While "Bishop" DiMarzio was correct in stating that
the primary end of marriage is to bring new life into the world, he is
quite wrong in stating parents do so in order to teach their children to
become "productive citizens." Parents are called to welcome children
generously to prepare them to be citizens of Heaven by living as saints
here on the saint of this earth as members of His Catholic Church. And
it is the consciousness of our membership in the Catholic Church that
impels us to live as good citizens here on earth as seek admission as
citizens of Heaven for all eternity.
No talk of this, though, from "Bishop" DiMarzio or "Cardinal" Dolan or most of the other conciliar "bishops."
"Bishop" DiMarzio was also as incorrect in accepting
the propaganda of "same-sex attractions" as his provincial superior
across the Brooklyn Bridge, Timothy Dolan. Those are inclined to commit
perverse sins against nature acquire this inclination, which is why
there must be such propagandizing in its behalf in the concentration
camps known as public schools, propagandizing that is also to be found
throughout the so-called "religious education" programs within the
counterfeit church of conciliarism, especially in its high schools and
universities and colleges and many, if not the lion's share, of its
seminaries and religious communities.
"Bishop" DiMarzio seems to be ignorant or dismissive
of the good work that has been done by the Catholic Medical Association
debunking the propaganda of the allegedly "innate" nature of
"same-sex attractions" (HOMOSEXUALITY AND HOPE: Statement Of The Catholic Medical Association). The contention that perverse inclinations are something that people are "born with" is asserted in the Catechism of the Conciliar Church,
to be sure. However, this assertion is without scientific foundation.
The conciliar "bishop" of Brooklyn proved himself to be just as much of
a naturalist as Timothy Dolan in speaking of our "common understanding
of marriage" as though any reference to the binding precepts of the
Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law as Our Lord entrusted them to
His Catholic Church for their eternal safekeeping and infallible
explication did not matter in public discourse.
"Bishop" DiMarzio, please consider these words of our true popes:
The chief elements of this duty consist in
professing openly and unflinchingly the Catholic doctrine, and in
propagating it to the utmost of our power. For, as is often
said, with the greatest truth, there is nothing so hurtful to Christian
wisdom as that it should not be known, since it possesses, when loyally
received, inherent power to drive away error. So soon as Catholic truth
is apprehended by a simple and unprejudiced soul, reason yields assent. (Pope Leo XIII, Sapientiae Christianae, January 10, 1890.)
As with individuals, so with nations.
These, too, must necessarily tend to ruin if they go astray from "The
Way." The Son of God, the Creator and Redeemer of mankind, is King and
Lord of the earth, and holds supreme dominion over men, both
individually and collectively. "And He gave Him power, and
glory, and a kingdom: and all peoples, tribes, and tongues shall serve
Him" (Daniel vii., 14). "I am appointed King by Him . . . I will give
Thee the Gentiles for Thy inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the
earth for Thy possession" (Psalm ii., 6, 8). Therefore the law of Christ
ought to prevail in human society and be the guide and teacher of
public as well as of private life. Since this is so by divine decree,
and no man may with impunity contravene it, it is an evil thing for the
common weal wherever Christianity does not hold the place that belongs
to it. When Jesus Christ is absent, human reason fails, being bereft of
its chief protection and light, and the very end is lost sight of, for
which, under God's providence, human society has been built up. This
end is the obtaining by the members of society of natural good through
the aid of civil unity, though always in harmony with the perfect and
eternal good which is above nature. But when men's minds are clouded,
both rulers and ruled go astray, for they have no safe line to follow
nor end to aim at. (Pope Leo XIII, Tametsi Futura Prospicientibus, November 1, 1900.)
No conciliar "bishop" anywhere
on the face of this earth speaks in such terms. Such is the extent of
the state of apostasy to be found within the counterfeit church of
conciliarism. Such words are anathema to men who dare to speak in ways
that have been anathematized by the Catholic Church.
Common understanding? What about the Order of
Creation (Nature) and the Order of Grace (Redemption)? Did not God
Himself ordain the male and the female to be complementary to each
other as man and wife?
The Brooklyn "bishop's" public musing that he has
been "too sensitive" to the concerns of those who have
"same-sex attractions" is laughable. Forceful? Is he serious? Look at
how the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost,
inspired Moses to refer to the effects of this contemptible sin on the
cities of Sodom and Gomorrha in the Book of Genesis:
And when the men rose up from thence, they turned
their eyes towards Sodom: and Abraham walked with them, bringing them on
the way. And the Lord said: Can I hide from Abraham what I am about to
do: Seeing he shall become a great and mighty nation, and in him all the
nations of the earth shall be blessed? For I know that he will command
his children, and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord,
and do judgment and justice: that for Abraham's sake the Lord may bring
to effect all the things he hath spoken unto him. And the Lord said: The cry of Sodom and Gomorrha is multiplied, and their sin is become exceedingly grievous.
I will go down and see whether they have done
according to the cry that is come to me: or whether it be not so, that I
may know. And they turned themselves from thence, and went their way to
Sodom: but Abraham as yet stood before the Lord. And drawing nigh he
said: Wilt thou destroy the just with the wicked? If there be fifty just
men in the city, shall they perish withal? and wilt thou not spare that
place for the sake of the fifty just, if they be therein? Far be it
from thee to do this thing, and to slay the just with the wicked, and
for the just to be in like case as the wicked, this is not beseeming
thee: thou who judgest all the earth, wilt not make this judgment.
And the Lord said to him: If I find in Sodom fifty
just within the city, I will spare the whole place for their sake. And
Abraham answered, and said: Seeing I have once begun, I will speak to my
Lord, whereas I am dust and ashes. What if there be five less than
fifty just persons? wilt thou for five and forty destroy the whole city?
And he said: I will not destroy it, if I find five and forty. And again
he said to him: But if forty be found there, what wilt thou do? He
said: I will not destroy it for the sake of forty. Lord, saith he, be
not angry, I beseech thee, if I speak: What if thirty shall be found
there? He answered: I will not do it, if I find thirty there.
Seeing, saith he, I have once begun, I will speak
to my Lord. What if twenty be found there? He said: I will not destroy
it for the sake of twenty. I beseech thee, saith he, be not angry, Lord,
if I speak yet once more: What if ten should be found there? And he
said: I will not destroy it for the sake of ten. And the Lord departed,
after he had left speaking to Abraham: and Abraham returned to his
place. (Genesis 16: 16-33)
And he said to him: Behold also in this, I have
heard thy prayers, not to destroy the city for which thou hast spoken.
Make haste and be saved there, because I cannot do any thing till thou
go in thither. Therefore the name of that city was called Segor. The sun
was risen upon the earth, and Lot entered into Segor. And the
Lord rained upon Sodom and Gomorrha brimstone and fire from the Lord out
of heaven. And he destroyed these cities, and all the country about,
all the inhabitants of the cities, and all things that spring from the
earth.
And his wife looking behind her, was turned into a
statue of salt. And Abraham got up early in the morning and in the
place where he had stood before with the Lord, He looked towards Sodom
and Gomorrha, and the whole land of that country: and he saw the ashes
rise up from the earth as the smoke of a furnace. (Genesis 19: 21-28.)
Forceful? "Bishop" DiMarzio should familiarize
himself with these words of Pope Saint Pius V concerning how this sin
was dealt with by the authorities of the Catholic civil state during the
era of Christendom:
That horrible crime, on account of which
corrupt and obscene cities were destroyed by fire through divine
condemnation, causes us most bitter sorrow and shocks our mind,
impelling us to repress such a crime with the greatest possible zeal.
Quite opportunely the Fifth Lateran Council [1512-1517] issued this
decree: "Let any member of the clergy caught in that vice against nature
. . . be removed from the clerical order or forced to do penance in a monastery"
(chap. 4, X, V, 31). So that the contagion of such a grave offense may
not advance with greater audacity by taking advantage of impunity, which
is the greatest incitement to sin, and so as to more severely punish
the clerics who are guilty of this nefarious crime and who are not
frightened by the death of their souls, we determine that they should be
handed over to the severity of the secular authority, which enforces
civil law.
Therefore, wishing to pursue with the greatest rigor that which we have
decreed since the beginning of our pontificate, we establish that any
priest or member of the clergy, either secular or regular, who commits
such an execrable crime, by force of the present law be deprived of
every clerical privilege, of every post, dignity and ecclesiastical
benefit, and having been degraded by an ecclesiastical judge,
let him be immediately delivered to the secular authority to be put to
death, as mandated by law as the fitting punishment for laymen who have
sunk into this abyss. (Pope Saint Pius V, Horrendum illud scelus, August 30, 1568)
Mind you,
I am not suggesting the revival of this penalty in a world where it
would not be understood and where the offender would be made a "martyr"
for the cause of perversity, only pointing out the fact that the Catholic Church teaches that clerics and others in ecclesiastical authority who
are guilty of serious moral crimes are deserving of punishment, not
protection, by their bishops, and should, like any member of the laity,
be put to death. Such is the difference yet again between Catholicism
and conciliarism.
In this vein, therefore, "Bishop" DiMarzio's order to
his diocesan institutions and parishes last year not to bestow or to accept
awards or honors from elected officials in the State of New York is
ludicrous. If you believe yourself to be the actual, honest-to-goodness
Bishop of Brooklyn and that you are a Successor of the Apostles in the
Catholic Church, why not simply excommunicate anyone and everyone in
your diocese who voted for the bill in the New York State Senate and the
New York State Assembly?
Why? Because Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI
wouldn't like that. That's why. And that's why Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., who has supported the chemical and surgical assassination of innocent preborn children with aplomb for thirty-nine years now, will remain in perfectly good standing as a "Catholic" in the counterfeit church of conciliarism. Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI doesn't want to excommunicate Catholics in public life. That's why. It's that simple.
Defenders of all things conciliar would say that excommunicating men such as Biden would make them "martyrs" in the eyes of many Catholics and non-Catholics alike. This objection can be answered firmly as follows: So what? So what?
The "bishops" in the counterfeit church of conciliarism claim to be Successors of the Apostles. As such, they should have a desire to protect the integrity of what they believe is the Blessed Sacrament. Perhaps without realizing it, however, their refusal to protect the integrity of what they believe to be Our Lord in His Real Presence is but God's way of teaching those who have blessed with the graces from Our Lady to see things clearly Our Lord is not truly present in Novus Ordo churches and that the conciliar "bishops" are not true Successors of the Apostles.
True Successors of the Apostles also understand that their use of the rod of correction, employed after all efforts to effect an abjuration of their errors have failed, is an essential means to teach Catholics and non-Catholics alike that one cannot promote sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance with utter impurity and without imperiling their immortal souls by doing so, thus teaching by their sins of omission that everyone can do these things and stay within the conciliar structures without being disciplined. Welcome aboard the One World Ecumenical Church of conciliarism, Bishop Fellay. Welcome aboard!
Please see the appendix for what true Successors of the Apostles would say to those steeped in sins of perversity (and to those who serve as their enablers). Catholic truth must be taught clearly and without apology and without the slightest concession to the "acceptability" of sin, the very thing that caused Our Lord, Christ the King, to suffer and die during His fearful Passion and Death and that plunged those Seven Swords of Sorrow through and through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of His Most Blessed Mother.
Oh, you say that "the people" won't listen to Catholic truth?
Go tell that to the Apostles, who preferred death rather than to be silent about the Holy Name of the Divine Redeemer, Christ the King.
"The people" won't listen to Catholic truth?
Go tell to that to the million of martyrs who, following the footsteps of the Apostles, were willing to be impoverished, imprisoned, beaten, tortured and executed in the most some of the most cruel ways ever conceived rather than be silent about the truths of the Catholic Faith.
"Things have changed," you say?
Says who?
Apostates and cowards, that's who.
How many times do I have to repeat myself? The pluralist state of Modernity is a trap of the devil from the beginning to the end, and it is a trap into which the apostates of conciliarism live--and live "absolutely comfortably."
Here are our marching orders, my good and very few readers (and fewer donors still--a really big hint, you know as we are "up against it" and end of the month bills coming due), given us by Pope Saint Pius X himself:
This, nevertheless, is what they want to do with
human society; they dream of changing its natural and traditional
foundations; they dream of a Future City built on different principles,
and they dare to proclaim these more fruitful and more beneficial than
the principles upon which the present Christian City rests
No, Venerable Brethren, We must repeat with the
utmost energy in these times of social and intellectual anarchy when
everyone takes it upon himself to teach as a teacher and lawmaker - the
City cannot be built otherwise than as God has built it; society cannot
be setup unless the Church lays the foundations and supervises the
work; no, civilization is not something yet to be found, nor is the New
City to be built on hazy notions; it has been in existence and still is:
it is Christian civilization, it is the Catholic City. It has only to
be set up and restored continually against the unremitting attacks of
insane dreamers, rebels and miscreants. omnia instaurare in Christo. (Pope Saint Pius X, Notre Charge Apostolique, August 15, 1910.)
All must fall apart absent Christ the King and His true Church.
All must fall apart in the souls of men and thus in the lives of their nations if they do not have a deep, abiding and tender love for and reliance upon the Mother of God, she who made possible our salvation by her perfect Fiat to the will of God the Father at the Annunciation and who is the Mediatrix of All Graces. Men and their nations need Our Lady. They need her Most Holy Rosary. They need to be faithful to her Fatima Message as they protect themselves with the Brown Scapular and the Miraculous Medal and pass out truly blessed Green Scapulars to those whose God's Holy Providence places in their paths each day.
Men need to be totally consecrated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. To be so consecrated is to offer up all of the sufferings and calumnies and persecutions and injustices, whether real or imagined, that we might suffer now and into the future to Our Lady to be given unto the
throne of the Most Blessed Trinity. We must belong to the twin, matchless hearts of love that are the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, consoling them, if at all possible in this time of apostasy and betrayal when the Real Presence of Our Lord has been taken away from once proudly Catholic churches that are not in the control of the conciliar revolutionaries, by spending time in fervent prayer before Christ the King's Real Presence in the Most Blessed Sacrament, wherein His Most Sacred Heart beats with love for us and by which His Most Blessed Mother awaits us to join her in adoring the Father through the Son in Spirit and in Truth.
Without this, you see, we are doomed to a continued and most rapid descent into barbarism. God will not hold the hand of His wrath for long. Indeed, the very fact that so many people "accept" this kind of perversion of "law" under a variety of naturalistic slogans is itself a chastisement of untold proportions.
In the meantime, of course, keep praying your Rosaries and offering up your sacrifices and sufferings in reparation for your own sins and those of the whole world, including those of the lords of Modernity and Modernism giving everything with joy and gratitude to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary for we care not about the law of God, not the "will of the people."

What True Catholic Bishops (or any baptized Catholic) Should Say To Those Steeped in Sins of Perversity
1) God's love for us is an act of His divine will, the ultimate expression of which is the salvation of our immortal souls.
2) Our love for others
must be premised on willing for them what God wills for us: their
salvation as members of the Catholic Church.
3) We love no one
authentically if we do or say anything, either by omission or
commission, which reaffirms him in a life of unrepentant sin.
4) Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ hates
sin. He wills the sinner to repent of his sins by cooperating with the
graces He won for them on the wood of the Holy Cross and that flow into
his heart and soul through the loving hands of Our Lady, she who is the
Mediatrix of All Graces.
5) One of the Spiritual Works of Mercy is to
admonish the sinner. We have an obligation to admonish those who are in
lives on unrepentant sin to turn away from their lives of sin and to
strive to pursue the heights of sanctity.
6) God has compassion on all erring sinners,
meaning each one of us. He understands our weakness. He exhorts us, as
He exhorted the woman caught in adultery, to "Go, and commit this sin no
more."
7) It is not an act of "love" for people to persist in unrepentant sins with others.
8) It is not an act of "judgmentalness" or
"intolerance" to exhort people who are living lives of unrepentant sin
to reform their lives lest their souls wind up in Hell for eternity.
9) Mortal Sins cast out Sanctifying Grace from the
soul. Those steeped in unrepentant mortal sin are the captives of the
devil until they make a good and sincere Confession to a true priest.
9) Certain sins cry out to Heaven for vengeance. Sodomy is one of the four sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance.
10) Those engaged in natural or unnatural acts
against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments do not "love" the individuals
with whom they are sinning. Authentic love cannot exist in a soul
committed to a life against the Commandments of God and the eternal
welfare of one's own soul, no less the souls of others.
11) Those engaged in natural or unnatural acts against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments are not fit to adopt children.
12) Those engaged in natural or unnatural acts
against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments are not fit to adopt children
because their very sinful lives put into jeopardy the eternal of the
souls of the children they seek to adopt. It is not possible for people
who are sinning unrepentantly to teach children to hate sin as God hates
sin. They are immersed in sin. Pope Pius XI put it this way in Casti
Connubii, December 31, 1930:
But Christian parents must also understand that
they are destined not only to propagate and preserve the human race on
earth, indeed not only to educate any kind of worshippers of the true
God, but children who are to become members of the Church of Christ, to
raise up fellow-citizens of the Saints, and members of God's household,
that the worshippers of God and Our Savior may daily increase. (Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii, December 31, 1930.)
