Living at a Time When Confusion and Contradiction Pass for "Progress"

Here is another commentary that will keep the “vast” readership of the site busy for a few days.

The commentary discusses President Donald John Trump’s address to the March for Life on Friday, January 24, 2020, the Feast of Saint Timothy.

Here is an outline of the article in order to assist you in digesting its long text:

  1. The Sincerity of President Trump’s Opposition to Surgical Baby-Killing
  2. An Analysis of President Trump’s January 24, 2020 Address to the March for Life
  3. The March for Life, Aided by the Conciliar “Bishops,” Seeks a “Consensus”
  4. The Potomac Flows into the Tiber—and Back Again
  5. Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s Willful Ignorance
  6. Concluding Remarks

As is usually the case with commentaries such as this one, I have tried to be thorough while making all necessary qualifications.

I am going to "disappear" for a while as I finalize Volume 2 of To Live in Light of Eternity.

A blessed Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary to you all.

On the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary (2020)

Today is the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, always the humble handmaid of the Lord who humbled herself this day, the last day of Christmastide, which ends after Holy Mass today, by submitting to the rituals of the law although she was not in need of such a ritualistic purification because of her Perpetual Virginity.

This is the day that Our Lady presented her Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, in the same Temple where He would be found twelve years later answering questions of the rabbis, the same Temple whose curtain would be torn in two from top to bottom as He breathed His last on the wood of the Holy Cross to redeem us, thereby signifying the permanent end of the Old Covenant and the supersession of Judaism by Catholicism as the true religion. The aged Simeon, who waited patiently every day in the Temple for the fulfillment of the promise that God had made to him, that he would not die before his eyes had seen and his arms had beheld the Messiah, sent the first Sword of Sorrow plunging through Our Lady's Sorrowful and and Immaculate Heart when he prophesied that the Child he beheld would be destined for the rise and for the fall of man, a sign to be opposed, a Sign of Contradiction. We must never fear to be signs of contradiction in our own lives in imitation of the THE Sign of Contradiction, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, as He hung on the wood of the Holy Cross to redeem us as he was mocked and reviled by the very people from whose stock He had taken His Sacred Humanity.

We must be willing to suffer all manner of calumny and humiliation for the many times that we have preferred human respect to fidelity to Our Lord, for the many times we have refused to call upon Our Lady's maternal intercession, for the many times we have refused to "take sides," especially in our day by refusing to reject conciliarism and its ravenous wolves once and for all.

A very long commentary will be posted shortly  after the republication of this reflection.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!

While I am nearing completion on my next article, which is now over forty pages long, I have another two to three hours of writing to do on it before I format it for posting, a process that can take about two hours in and of itself. The past two days were spent on the new commentary, which was started over the weekend, but the allergic reaction to the medical procedure that I underwent on January 15, 2020, got to be so bad by Tuesday, January 28, 2020, the Feast of Saint Peter Nolasco, that I had to go to a physician who diagnosed the reaction as allergic dermatitis. This is superb penance. Deo gratias. However, the allergic reaction did slow down my ability to write for a while.

Now, as I have noted, I am no longer republishing most of the spiritual reflections that have been published in To Live in Light of Eternity, Volume 1. I am, however, going to provide links to some of these reflections. Today is the Feast of Saint John Bosco, to whom my family has a fervent devotion, and I am thus providing you with a link to a brief and wholly inadequate reflection that was republished last year: Saint John Bosco: Ever Zealous for Souls Until the End.

By the way, has the naturalist circus ended yet? I have had too much else to do with my time.

Our Lady Help of Christians, pray for us.

Saint John Bosco, pray for us.

Saint Paul the Apostle: Converted by Our Lord Himself

It had been my intention to post a new article on January 22, 2020, as well as to revise an existing article about the dreadful decisions rendered by the Supreme Court of the United States of America in the cases of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton. Although I had gotten a good head start on the new article, the increasing severity of an allergic reaction to something used in a medical procedure ten days ago has made it difficult, if not impossible, to sleep much, and it is generally a “plus” to have one’s wits about him when he writes. This is, of course, excellent penance, which is accepted with gratitude as a very small way in which I can seek to make reparation for my many sins. Deo gratias!

As frequently is the case, however, an unexpected delay sometimes serves to the advantage of a better and more complete commentary. Such is the case with the new article, which deals with the March for Life under its post-Nellie Gray leadership, as President Donald John Trump became the first president yesterday, Friday, January 24, 2020, the Feast of Saint Timothy, to actually address the March for Life in person, noting that the spineless excuse of an ignoramus named George Walker Bush invited two hundred leaders of the establishment pro-life movement to meet with him in the White House on January 22, 2008, when it was no longer “detrimental” to his political career to do so. (Dubya avoided all contact with the March for Life on January 22, 2001, two days after his inauguration, and had United States Representative Christopher Smith, R-New Jersey, read a statement that had been prepared in his name.)

President Trump is to be commended for going to the March for Life. However, he believes that one can be “pro-life” while supporting the execution of the innocent preborn in the so-called “hard” cases (rape, incest and alleged threats to the life of the mother) as a matter of principle, not one of political expediency. He does not see that his position is a contradiction of his statements that “every child” should be welcomed in life as it is illogical say this yet support the destruction of innocent children in their mothers’ wombs as a matter of principle.

Now, readers of this site know that I am critical of President Donald John Trump for many reasons, some of which were discussed last in The Civil State Must Exercise a Reign of Terror When the Social Reign of Christ the King Does Not Prevail six days ago, I always give credit where credit is due, and the president deserves credit for going to the March for Life despite the fact that it does not hurt his political cause with a segment “base” to do so at a time when insane people aflame with hatred for anyone who dares to take exception, no matter how inchoately, to the prevailing uniparty system of false opposite, are trying to remove him from office.

The fact that the president supports “exceptions” to the binding precepts of the Fifth Commandment is not his fault. While he is wrong and such rhetoric is deleterious to a proper understanding of right principles, the real fault lies with establishment “pro-life” leaders who have made at least the “life of the mother exception” ever since Roe v. Wade was handed down forty-seven years ago and actually scoff, not oppose outright, those very, very few candidates for public life who are actually opposed to all surgical baby-killing without exception.

The new commentary, therefore, will be measured. However, it will be unstinting in defense of the truth as the only foundation of a social order premised upon the pursuit of the common temporal good in light of man’s Last End.

Today, Saturday, January 25, 2020, is the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle and the Commemoration of Saint Peter. Although I am not republishing most of the articles contained in To Live in Light of Eternity, Volume 1, I will do so on some feast days. This is one of those days.

Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ personally intervened to effect the conversion of the fire-breathing hater and persecutor of Catholics, Saul of Tarsus. By so doing, of course, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity made Man in His Most Blessed Mother's Virginal and Immaculate Womb by the power of the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, violated the counterfeit church of conciliarism's prohibition of proselytism. Saul of Tarsus did not seek out Our Lord, but was sought out by Him so that he would become Saint Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles one of twin pillars of the Church of Rome along with the first pope himself, Saint Peter the Apostle.

The next original article on this site, which will deal in part with the persecution of the students of Covington High who were confronted by a professional Native American agitator after the March for Life a week ago today, January 18, 2019, the Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter in Rome and the Commemorations of Saint Paul and of Saint Prisca, and in part with two other subjeccts, should be posted no later than Sunday, January 27, 2019, the Third Sunday after the Epiphany and the Commemoration of Saint John Chyrsostom (as well as the sixty-seventh anniversary of my own baptism at the hands of Father John Dushan at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Queens Village, New York, after spending the first two months, three days of my life after birth as a pagan baby). Thank you for your patience.

Finally, there is little that I can say to those displeased with my last two orginal articles on this site. No matter the agitations of the moment and the "good intentions" of those steeped in one naturalist myth after another, Catholicism is the only means of human salvation and of genuine social order founded in the pursuit of the common temporal good in light of man's Last End. Agitation will always be the lot of pluralist, religiously indifferentist states. The only way out of the mess that the world is in runs through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, and I will keep repeating this until I die or am unable to continue my writing before death.

Our Lady, Queen of the Apostles, pray for us.

Saint Paul, pray for us.

Saint Peter, pray for us.

The Civil State Must Exercise a Reign of Terror When the Social Reign of Christ the King Does Not Prevail

Well, it takes me a lot longer for me to complete commentaries such as this one than in those thrilling days of yesteryear.

This having been noted, however, this commentary, which deals with the impeachment farce that is unfolding before our eyes and many other related subjected, is thorough, and while it repeats many points made repeatedly on this site, its sixty plus pages (the commentary was tweaked in a very places after initial posting) is a new composition to put place familiar themes in the context of what is happening at present.

Also included in the appendices at the end of this long commentary is the Chair of Unity Octave and reflections on the wedding feast at Cana and on Saints Marius, Martha, Audifax and Abucham.

I hope to have another original commentary posted by Wednesday, January 22, 2020, as well as a republished commentary on the tragic decisions of the Supreme Court of the United States of America in the cases of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, January 22, 1973.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saints Marius, Martha, Audifax and Abucham, pray for us.

Saint Wulstan, pray for us.

Saints Fabian and Sebastian, pray for us.

Saint Agnes, pray for us.

On the Feast of the Holy Family (2020)

[A new article, Jorge and His Global Humanists are the Most Hateful Men Alive Today, was published yesterday, Saturday, January 11, 2020, the Sixth Day within the Octave of the Epiphany and the Commemoration of Pope Saint Hyginus I. Another original article is being written at this time before I return to Volume 2 of To Live in the Light of Eternity and another book project related to my doctoral dissertation from forty-three years ago.]

Today is the Feast of the Holy Family of Nazareth and the Commemoration of the First Sunday after the Epiphany within the Octave of the Epiphany.

Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ chose to become Man in His Most Blessed Mother's Virginal and Immaculate Womb by the power of the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, and place Himself, the Co-Equal and Co-Eternal Son of God the Father, under subjection to mere creatures His Most Blessed Mother, the fairest flower of our race, and to Good Saint Joseph, his foster-father.

The subjection of the God-Man to the authority of His Most Blessed Mother and his foster-father, whom He had chosen from all eternity to provide Him with the earthly love and care and stewardship of a father seeking only to please God with his every thought, word and deed, teaches us that we, who came from families and who, in many instances, are raising families of our own, must be subject to all legitimate authority, duly constituted, in all things that do not pertain to sinful commands. Children are supposed to learn this subjection in the household from their tenderest days, seeing in their fathers the image of Saint Joseph and in their mothers the image of Our Lady.

Children are supposed to realize that God in the very Flesh obeyed His creatures in the Holy Family of Nazareth. So must they.

Parents must, for their part, foster an atmosphere within the family of selflessness, charity, forgiveness and joy, centering the family's life on daily assistance at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass (if at all possible), regular time spent in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, the daily recitation of Our Lady's Most Holy Rosary, supplications to Our Lady's Most Chaste Spouse, Saint Joseph, home enthronement to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Total Consecration to Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through the same Immaculate Heart of Mary, Scriptural reading and family reading time, especially about the lives of the saints, and a refusal to participate in the rot of popular culture.

This requires sacrifice and the willingness to be misunderstood, calumniated and rejected even by one's own family members as we protect our children from those cultural currents that come from the devil and are designed to lead each of us to Hell for all eternity. To eschew worldliness one must be ready to embrace the Holy Poverty of the Holy Family of Nazareth, detaching oneself from the material acquisitiveness of our consumer society, shaped by Judeo-Calvinist materialism, and to live in light of First Things and Last Things as we week to acquire the only thing that matters: Sanctifying Grace in this life and eternal life in the glory of the Beatific Vision of Father, Son and Holy Ghost in Heaven. Finally, yes, the next article is nearly completion. Thanks for your patience.

The next original article for this has "turned a corner," so to speak, and will be published this evening. It is a long commentary. I thank you for your patience.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, we love you, save souls!

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, pray for us now and in death's agony.

A blessed Feast of the Holy Family of Nazareth to you all.

Jorge and His Global Humanists are the Most Hateful Men Alive Today

Although there is little “new” to write about Jorge Mario Bergoglio and his fellow conciliar revolutionaries, wo are truly the most hateful men on the face of this earth, there are times when it is necessary to repeat the obvious, especially in light the Argentine Apostate’s announced plans to hold a conference in four months to develop a global educational plan as a means of advancing a “new humanism.”

Readers of this site should know that nothing that Bergoglio has no authority from God to govern nor to teach in the name of Holy Mother Church. However, Bergoglio keeps reminding of this fact almost every time he opens his vile mouth and/or permits a document to be issued in his name.

Remember, my new availalbe in a Kindle edition at To Live in the Light of Eternity, Volume 1, and in an Amazon print-on-demand at To Live in Light of Eternity, Volume 1.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, bless us now and in death’s holy agony.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saints Caspar, Melchior and Balthazar, pray for us.

Pope Saint Hyginus, pray for us.

Ever Enabling Montezuma’s Army of Body Snatchers

The conciliar revolutionaries provide with a never-ending stream of proofs that they belong to a counterfeit ape of the Catholic Church, she who is the spotless, virginal mystical spouse of her Divine Founder, Invisible Head and Mystical Bridegroom, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

One of the many ways the apostates in the conciliar church prove that they are not officials of the Catholic Church is how they almost invariably support efforts to enforce the decisions of hospital death panels to impose death sentences on living human beings who are guilty of nothing other than needing care to help them to be treated and/or cured of a specific condition that the ghouls of Montezuma’s Army of Body Snatchers contend would never assure a patient of an acceptable “quality of life.”

This is happening in the Lone Star State of Texas as the conciliar “bishops’” conference there filed an amicus curiae (friend of the court) brief in support of the decision made by the death panel at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, to force Tinslee Lewis, a young girl who suffers from Ebstein’s Anomaly, to be “transitioned” to the grave.

Our Lady of Mercy, pray for us all.

Saints Caspar, Melchior and Balthazar, pray for us.

On the Feast of the Epiphany of Our Lord (2020)

Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was made manifest on Christmas Day to the handful of Jewish people, including the shepherds in the field who were sent to adore Him by the angels who had announced the following:

And there were in the same country shepherds watching, and keeping the night watches over their flock. And behold an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the brightness of God shone round about them; and they feared with a great fear. And the angel said to them: Fear not; for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, that shall be to all the people: For, this day, is born to you a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord, in the city of David. And this shall be a sign unto you. You shall find the infant wrapped in swaddling clothes, and laid in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army, praising God, and saying: Glory to God in the highest; and on earth peace to men of good will. And it came to pass, after the angels departed from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another: Let us go over to Bethlehem, and let us see this word that is come to pass, which the Lord hath shewed to us. And they came with haste; and they found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger. And seeing, they understood of the word that had been spoken to them concerning this child. And all that heard, wondered; and at those things that were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these words, pondering them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God, for all the things they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. (Luke 2: 6-20.)

Today's feast, the Feast of the Epiphany of Our Lord, known colloquially in Ireland as "Little Christmas" and in many other places as Three Kings' Day, celebrates Our Lord's manifestation to the whole world through the Gentiles.

Indeed, the Offertory for today's Mass explains that all kings shall adore Christ King and that all nations shall serve Him:

"The kings of Tharsis and the islands shall offer presents: the kings of the Arabians and of Saba shall bring gifts: and all kings of the earth shall adore Him: all nations shall serve Him."

The United States of America is no exception to this. We must pray for the day when the leaders of this country, founded on the falsehoods of Protestantism and Judeo-Masonry that are so hateful to Our King, will adore Him as their King and the day when this nation will serve Him as it acknowledges His Social Kingship over it by submitting in all that pertains to the good of souls to the authority of the Catholic Church that He Himself founded upon the Rock of Peter, the Pope.

We are suffering at the hands of statists today because the men of Modernity who believed that they had no obligation to offer public worship to Christ the King through His true Church set us on a course that can result only in the triumph of the civil state over the King of Kings Who was made manifest to Saints Caspar, Melchior, and Balthazar on this day.

We must make Him manifest in our own lives at at all times, never fearing to suffer in behalf of the truths of the Holy Faith or to suffer in the cause of justice when souls are placed into jeopardy needlessly even by some of our own true shepherds.

An original article will be posted in a few moments.

A blessed Feast of the Epiphany of Our Lord to you all!

On the Feast of the Circumcision of Our Lord (2020)

Update on the Feast  of the Holy Name of Jesus: A reflection on the Most Holy Name of Jesus should be published by tomorrow, the Feast of the Epiphany of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. At present, however, I am working on an commentary about another death panel case in the State of Texas. As could be expected, the conciliar conference of "bishops" in Texas is on the side of the death panels. It is my hope to complete this article early this evening, January 5, 2020.

A blessed Feast of the Holy Name of Jesus to you all!

January 1, 2020 posting:

A blessed New Year 2020 of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to you! (By the way, the new decade starts on January 1, 2021, not January 1, 2020. Then again, who pays any attention to me?)

This is a republished reflection for today's feast, the Feast of the Circumcision of Our Lord Jesus Christ, which begins the the month of January, the month of Holy Name of Jesus.

Now, I have been busy the past few days dealing with the superb penance imposed by my recent concussion by praying to overcome the bugs and the glitches that prevented me from uploading my new book, To Live in Light of Eternity, Volume 1, to Amazon print-on-demand. I was finally successful in meeting all the necessary technical specifications only yesterday, the Feast of Pope Saint Sylvester I, but have to wait for seventy-two hours for the "review" of the submitted manuscript before it will appear online. I still have twenty-eight copies from the original run that can be ordered as indicated on the page linked above.

The book is NOW available in a Kindle edition at To Live in the Light of Eternity, Volume 1, and in an Amazon print-on-demand To Live in Light of Eternity, Volume 1.

Thank you for your consideration.

The effort to complete the Amazon process was made as I am running out of the initial run of the one hundred copies that I had printed, and I simply can't make the out of pocket expense to pay for another run at the printer's.

Additionally, there has been popular demand* for the book to made avilable as an "e-book" and to be marketed in such a way that the identity of purchasers will not be known to me. As I am willing to take into consideration the concerns of the reading public, of course, the new book will appear, if approved, in a print-on-demand and as a Kindle veersion on Amazon.

(*--"Popular demand" means the following in the context of this website: Precisely one (1) inquirer wrote to ask if I had any plans to make the book available in an electronic format. One inquiry constitutes "popular demand" when one considers the ranking of this website! I have someone out there has a sense of humor.)

Although I am proceeding to work on volume two of To Live in the Light of Eternity and on another book project, I am also trying to complete three original articles for this site. I thank you for your patience.

Once again, a blessed New Year of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ 2020 to you all.

Our Lady, Mother of God, pray for us.

Saint Joseph, pray for us.
