Fifty Years of Delusions Popularized by Diabolical Illusions
It was fifty years, two days ago, that is, on December 7, 1965, the Feast of Saint Ambrose and the Commemoration of the Vigil of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, that Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria/Paul VI closed the heretical work of the “Second” Vatican Council by praising the work that had been done to serve the needs of man as “he really is” in the midst of the “modern” world.
One will see from the passages below that “Blessed” Paul the Sick’s delusions about the work of the council over which he presided for its second, third and fourth sessions are identical to those that inhabit the mushy mind, such as it is, of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, although expressed more artfully and with a better effort to mask Modernist precepts with references to Catholic Church’s work to infuse the world with her teaching. Unfortunately, for Montini, who died on the Feast of the Transfiguration, August 6, 1978, as he “exploded from within,” his sick delusions have turned into a full scale celebration of nature without regard for the salvation of souls and in a spirit of religious indifferentism that flowed directly from the “Second” Vatican Council’s false ecumenism:
But we cannot pass over one important consideration in our analysis of the religious meaning of the council: it has been deeply committed to the study of the modern world. Never before perhaps, so much as on this occasion, has the Church felt the need to know, to draw near to, to understand, to penetrate, serve and evangelize the society in which she lives; and to get to grips with it, almost to run after it, in its rapid and continuous change. This attitude, a response to the distances and divisions we have witnessed over recent centuries, in the last century and in our own especially, between the Church and secular society -- this attitude has been strongly and unceasingly at work in the council; so much so that some have been inclined to suspect that an easy-going and excessive responsiveness to the outside world, to passing events, cultural fashions, temporary needs, an alien way of thinking . . ., may have swayed persons and acts of the ecumenical synod, at the expense of the fidelity which is due to tradition, and this to the detriment of the religious orientation of the council itself. We do not believe that this shortcoming should be imputed to it, to its real and deep intentions, to its authentic manifestations. (Address During The Last General Meeting Of the "Second Vatican Council.)
Behold the “authentic manifestations” of the “Second” Vatican Council which prove that those Catholics, including some of the bishops at this false council, who expressed concerns about “an easy-going and excessive responsiveness to the outside world, to passing events, cultural fashions, temporary needs, an alien way of thinking” were entirely correct:
(As found at Novus Ordo Watch Wire.)
Yes, Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria/Paul the Sick was the delusional one, not his contemporaries who saw what they believed to be the Catholic Church making terms with error and heresy. Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!
Montini praised the fact that the fathers of the “Second” Vatican Council sought to take an “optimistic” view of man and of the modern world while issuing “messages of trust” to “the present-day world”:
And what aspect of humanity has this august senate studied? What goal under divine inspiration did it set for itself? It also dwelt upon humanity's ever twofold facet, namely, man's wretchedness and his greatness, his profound weakness -- which is undeniable and cannot be cured by himself -- and the good that survives in him which is ever marked by a hidden beauty and an invincible serenity. But one must realize that this council, which exposed itself to human judgment, insisted very much more upon this pleasant side of man, rather than on his unpleasant one. Its attitude was very much and deliberately optimistic. A wave of affection and admiration flowed from the council over the modem world of humanity. Errors were condemned, indeed, because charity demanded this no less than did truth, but for the persons themselves there was only warming, respect and love. Instead of depressing diagnoses, encouraging remedies; instead of direful prognostics, messages of trust issued from the council to the present-day world. The modern world's values were not only respected but honored, its efforts approved, its aspirations purified and blessed. (Address During The Last General Meeting Of the "Second Vatican Council.)
Yes, the “pleasant side of man” has certainly manifested itself over the past fifty years.
A worldwide genocide, waged by chemical and surgical means, of innocent preborn children.
The worldwide vivisection of living human beings for their vital bodily organs in order to transplant them into those on the point of their natural deaths.
The worldwide starvation and dehydration of disabled human beings.
The worldwide use of “hospice” as a means to expedite the deaths of chronically or terminally ill patients in the name of “compassion.”
Big Pharma’s worldwide control of how human beings are to be overmedicated and used as guinea pigs to refine various formulae for “curing” problems created by Big Ag’s genetic manipulation of our food sources.
The worldwide campaign to institutionalize euthanasia for the sick and suffering and to oppose the imposition of the death penalty upon those adjudged guilty of heinous crimes after the administration of the due process of law.
The worldwide campaign to advance the sin of Sodom and its related vices as “human rights.”
The worldwide campaign to use junk science to promote the ideology of evolutionism and to promote a pantheistic protection of the environment and draconian measures to retard “global warming.”
The worldwide use of telecommunications as a means to attack and undermine the innocence of the young and to promote all manner of sins, both natural and unnatural, against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments by human beings of all ages.
The worldwide control of what is said to be “news” by master illusionists who want to condition, control, manipulate and agitate the masses into accepting uncritically whatever is said to be “reality” because it has been “reported” as such.
The worldwide campaign by national and supranational governmental agencies to institutionalize statism by the issuance of hundreds of thousands of regulations and the imposition of countless taxes, fees and fines to limit the use of private property and to seek to criminalize speech deemed “hateful” by our caesars.
The worldwide creation and nurturing of a caste of citizens who are dependent upon the state for their very daily needs, thus accustoming entire generations of human beings to become wards of the civil state.
The worldwide use of social engineering to change the demographic composition of neighborhoods and communities.
The dominance of multinational banks and corporations whose only loyalty is to the bottom line and to the promotion of a social agenda that is anti-family and anti-life as they practice usury to enslave those with average or below average incomes in exchange for their being able to finance the purchases of their homes, vehicles, clothing and major appliances.
The systematic warfare against the expression of Christianity in public as a means of protecting “diversity” and of promotion “toleration,” especially for Mohammedans, whose swollen ranks in the once Catholic states of Europe have resulted in one of Talmudism’s long-sought goals: the elimination of the Holy Name of the Divine Redeemer, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, from public view.
An endless procession of wars, many of them waged simultaneously, that have killed and wounded millions upon millions of people, and have laid waste entire lands and made refugees of untold millions of people.
Yes, yes, yes.
The “pleasant side of man.”
Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini/Paul VI was steeped in delusions, which have been fostered by the illusion that the work of the “Second” Vatican Council has been that of the Catholic Church and that the “liturgical reform” has enabled men to communicate with God more fully:
You see, for example, how the countless different languages of peoples existing today were admitted for the liturgical expression of men's communication with God and God's communication with men: to man as such was recognized his fundamental claim to enjoy full possession of his rights and to his transcendental destiny. His supreme aspirations to life, to personal dignity, to his just liberty, to culture, to the renewal of the social order, to justice and peace were purified and promoted; and to all men was addressed the pastoral and missionary invitation to the light of the Gospel.
We can now speak only too briefly on the very many and vast questions, relative to human welfare, with which the council dealt. It did not attempt to resolve all the urgent problems of modem life; some of these have been reserved for a further study which the Church intends to make of them, many of them were presented in very restricted and general terms, and for that reason are open to further investigation and various applications.
But one thing must be noted here, namely, that the teaching authority of the Church, even though not wishing to issue extraordinary dogmatic pronouncements, has made thoroughly known its authoritative teaching on a number of questions which today weigh upon man's conscience and activity, descending, so to speak, into a dialogue with him, but ever preserving its own authority and force; it has spoken with the accommodating friendly voice of pastoral charity; its desire has been to be heard and understood by everyone; it has not merely concentrated on intellectual understanding but has also sought to express itself in simple, up-to-date, conversational style, derived from actual experience and a cordial approach which make it more vital, attractive and persuasive; it has spoken to modern man as he is.
Another point we must stress is this: all this rich teaching is channeled in one direction, the service of mankind, of every condition, in every weakness and need. The Church has, so to say, declared herself the servant of humanity, at the very time when her teaching role and her pastoral government have, by reason of the council's solemnity, assumed greater splendor and vigor: the idea of service has been central. (Address During The Last General Meeting Of the "Second Vatican Council.)
The servant of humanity, not the Mystical Spouse of Christ the King to advance the work of the sanctification and salvation of souls.
Modern man as he is?”
Ah, yes, this is exactly what Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s “Jubilee Year of Mercy” is all about as he brings to global prominence a false moral theology that was popularized by many Jesuit revolutionaries in the 1950s, prompting this rejoinder from our last true pope just about thirteen months before his death on October 9, 1958:
The more serious cause, however, was the movement in high Jesuit circles to modernize the understanding of the magisterium by enlarging the freedom of Catholics, especially scholars, to dispute its claims and assertions. Jesuit scholars had already made up their minds that the Catholic creeds and moral norms needed nuance and correction. It was for this incipient dissent that the late Pius XII chastised the Jesuits’ 30th General Congregation one year before he died (1957). What concerned Pius XII most in that admonition was the doctrinal orthodoxy of Jesuits. Information had reached him that the Society’s academics (in France and Germany) were bootlegging heterodox ideas. He had long been aware of contemporary theologians who tried “to withdraw themselves from the Sacred Teaching authority and are accordingly in danger of gradually departing from revealed truth and of drawing others along with them in error” (Humani generis).
In view of what has gone on recently in Catholic higher education, Pius XII’s warnings to Jesuits have a prophetic ring to them. He spoke then of a “proud spirit of free inquiry more proper to a heterodox mentality than to a Catholic one”; he demanded that Jesuits not “tolerate complicity with people who would draw norms for action for eternal salvation from what is actually done, rather than from what should be done.” He continued, “It should be necessary to cut off as soon as possible from the body of your Society” such “unworthy and unfaithful sons.” Pius obviously was alarmed at the rise of heterodox thinking, worldly living, and just plain disobedience in Jesuit ranks, especially at attempts to place Jesuits on a par with their Superiors in those matters which pertained to Faith or Church order (The Pope Speaks, Spring 1958, pp. 447-453). (Monsignor George A. Kelly, Ph.D.,The Catholic College: Death, Judgment, Resurrection. See also the full Latin text of Pope Pius XII's address to the thirtieth general congregation of the Society of Jesus at page 806 of the Acta Apostolicae Sedis for 1957: AAS 49 [1957]. One will have to scroll down to page 806.)
Jorge Mario Bergoglio was trained by the very sort of revolutionaries whose false moral theology was condemned by Pope Pius XII in 1957, and it is this false moral theology, which is nothing other than Judeo-Masonic moral relativism, which itself is the product of the Protestant Revolution’s theological relativism. Modernism is, of course, the synthesis of all heresies, as one can see by examining the final passage from Jorge’s “homily” on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary that opened his festival of sin and sentimentality that is being advertised as a “Jubilee Year of Mercy”:
Today, as we pass through the Holy Door, we also want to remember another door, which fifty years ago the Fathers of the Second Vatican Council opened to the world. This anniversary cannot be remembered only for the legacy of the Council’s documents, which testify to a great advance in faith. Before all else, the Council was an encounter. A genuine encounter between the Church and the men and women of our time. An encounter marked by the power of the Spirit, who impelled the Church to emerge from the shoals which for years had kept her self-enclosed so as to set out once again, with enthusiasm, on her missionary journey. It was the resumption of a journey of encountering people where they live: in their cities and homes, in their workplaces. Wherever there are people, the Church is called to reach out to them and to bring the joy of the Gospel. After these decades, we again take up this missionary drive with the same power and enthusiasm. The Jubilee challenges us to this openness, and demands that we not neglect the spirit which emerged from Vatican II, the spirit of the Samaritan, as Blessed Paul VI expressed it at the conclusion of the Council. May our passing through the Holy Door today commit us to making our own the mercy of the Good Samaritan. (Jorge's Blather for the Inauguration of the Jubilee of Unrepentant Sinners.)
This is almost exactly what Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini/Paul VI said fifty years ago, and it is exactly the sort of falsehood that had been condemned time and time again by our true popes right up to the time of the death of Pope Pius XII himself fifty-seven years ago now.
Jorge Mario Bergoglio has thrown open the Holy Doors of the Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican to make it possible for unrepentant sinners to “feel good” about themselves as they find a “welcoming, nonjudgmental” home in the false religious sect that masquerades itself as the Catholic Church with various illusions and sleights of hand, especially the illusions produced by its invalid and sacramentally barren liturgical rites.
At the same time, of course, the Argentine Apostate is working nearly round-the-clock, it would appear, to “save the planet.” The pantheistic “future world” smoke and mirrors display that profaned the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary and made a mockery of the Catholic Faith and of the sanctity of the very seat of our Holy Faith was all about the preservation of the “world” and dumb beasts, not about the preservation of souls from eternal damnation. Jorge Mario Bergoglio really believes that, apart from us “rigid Pharisees,” no one goes to Hell, which is why he spends his time working in cahoots with pro-abortion, pro-sodomite, statist agencies, both public and private in nature, to “save the planet.”
Indeed, this madman of a lay Jesuit revolutionary is ready to intervene, albeit in a “gentle manner” as befits a “humble” “Petrine Minister,” if the “climate change” talks now taking place in Paris, France, become stalemated:
LE BOURGET, France (AP) — If international climate talks really stall, don't be surprised if there might be an ever-so-slight intervention by Pope Francis.
Cardinal Peter Turkson, president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace who helped draft the pope's June encyclical on global warming, said the pontiff has "deep trust" that negotiators in Paris will get the job done. But just in case they don't, the pope might possibly send a gentle message, he said.
"If it gets to a stalemate or whatever, he may utter a statement or make a comment or whatever, but he will refrain from exercising any coercive power on the things over here, because that would not belong to his style," Turkson told The Associated Press after a press conference by Vatican officials Tuesday at the Paris climate talks.
If the pope did intervene with a gentle statement if negotiations bog down, it would "show the gravity of the situation and highlight what's at stake," said Jennifer Morgan, global climate program director for the World Resources Institute.
Joe Ware, a protestant spokesman for Christian Aid, welcomed the remark, saying such action "would just give that final nudge to the negotiations."
There appeared to be no need for that just yet at the talks, where government ministers wrapped up Tuesday's session with no signs of the animosity that have plagued negotiations in the past. French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said a new draft agreement would be prepared by 1 p.m. (1200 GMT) Wednesday, reflecting the progress made so far. That would leave two days for ministers to work out the most difficult issues, like how to spell out who should do what.
Turkson said the Vatican has great interest in seeing the negotiations succeed, particularly getting the world to stop using carbon power by mid-century to save the Earth, especially for the world's poorest people.
"We cannot profess love of God when we cannot love what God has made," Turkson said.
However, Turkson weighed in on a temperature goal, which could be a sticking point.
Surprisingly, Turkson said the Vatican supports the more lenient goal of limiting global warming to "2 degrees (Celsius) and below if it can be pushed down." That goal is 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) from pre-industrial times or about 1 degree Celsius from now, while some island nations are pushing for a tighter 1.5 degree Celsius overall goal.
The Vatican is also seriously considering joining the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change, eventually signing an agreement out of Paris and then coming up with a plan to reduce emissions for the Vatican City itself, said Archbishop Bernadito Auzo, the acting head of the Vatican delegation observing climate talks.
If the Vatican went from an outside observer to a member state that "could bring some sense of the moral side of the story, which often gets lost in the talk," Morgan said. (If climate talks stall, the Green Jorge may gently intervene.)
This is truly remarkable as Jorge Mario Bergoglio has repeatedly shown that he is utterly uninterested in confronting any world leader, whether publicly or privately, about the daily slaughter of the innocent preborn or to inveigh against the advances made by what Mrs. Randy Engel has long called the Homosexual Collective.
Indeed, rather than criticizing public officials who support the daily slaughter of the innocent preborn, whether by chemical or surgical means or both, and perversity and the entire panoply of statist measures designed to restrict legitimate human liberties and to aggrandize the power of the caesars, both elected and appointed, Jorge Mario Bergoglio has gone out of his way to praise such evil-doers, including Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro and by telling the pro-abortion, pro-perversity Governor of the State of New York, the demagogic bully named Andrew Mark Cuomo, on Thursday, September 24, 2015, the Feast of Our Lady of Ransom, that his late father, former Governor of the State of New York Mario Matthew Cuomo, was a “great man” despite his own support of baby-killing and perversity, which including marching in the annual “Gay Pride Parade” on Fifth Avenue in the Borough of Manhattan, City of New York, New York, right in front of the Cathedral of Saint Patrick.
As should be clear by now, Jorge Mario Bergoglio is not concerned about moral corruption in the world or that each of the problems of the world, bar none, are caused by Original Sin and the Actual Sins of men, He believes that he has no duties whatsoever to condemn the chemical and surgical execution of the innocent preborn, the passage of laws permitting “gay marriage” and, in Belgium and, among other things, the execution of “disabled” children up to the age of eighteen years of age in some circumstances.
Remember, Brazil "legalized" a "back door" to the surgical killing of babies only days after Bergoglio had been in the country for World Youth Day from July 21, 2013, to July 28, 2013, and after he had received Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, a Catholic, so lovingly without uttering a word to her publicly about the pending legislation there. So many other like examples can be given of such selective silence on the part of a man who places the alleged “rights of man” and of the “planet” over the immutable precepts contained in the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law.
Far from the false spirit of Jorge Mario Bergoglio are the words of our true popes concerning moral evils in the souls of men that later become enshrined in law and celebrated in what passes for popular culture:
But in this same matter, touching Christian faith, there are other duties whose exact and religious observance, necessary at all times in the interests of eternal salvation, become more especially so in these our days. Amid such reckless and widespread folly of opinion, it is, as We have said, the office of the Church to undertake the defense of truth and uproot errors from the mind, and this charge has to be at all times sacredly observed by her, seeing that the honor of God and the salvation of men are confided to her keeping. But, when necessity compels, not those only who are invested with power of rule are bound to safeguard the integrity of faith, but, as St. Thomas maintains: "Each one is under obligation to show forth his faith, either to instruct and encourage others of the faithful, or to repel the attacks of unbelievers." To recoil before an enemy, or to keep silence when from all sides such clamors are raised against truth, is the part of a man either devoid of character or who entertains doubt as to the truth of what he professes to believe. In both cases such mode of behaving is base and is insulting to God, and both are incompatible with the salvation of mankind. This kind of conduct is profitable only to the enemies of the faith, for nothing emboldens the wicked so greatly as the lack of courage on the part of the good. Moreover, want of vigor on the part of Christians is so much the more blameworthy, as not seldom little would be needed on their part to bring to naught false charges and refute erroneous opinions, and by always exerting themselves more strenuously they might reckon upon being successful. After all, no one can be prevented from putting forth that strength of soul which is the characteristic of true Christians, and very frequently by such display of courage our enemies lose heart and their designs are thwarted. Christians are, moreover, born for combat, whereof the greater the vehemence, the more assured, God aiding, the triumph: "Have confidence; I have overcome the world." Nor is there any ground for alleging that Jesus Christ, the Guardian and Champion of the Church, needs not in any manner the help of men. Power certainly is not wanting to Him, but in His loving kindness He would assign to us a share in obtaining and applying the fruits of salvation procured through His grace.
The chief elements of this duty consist in professing openly and unflinchingly the Catholic doctrine, and in propagating it to the utmost of our power. For, as is often said, with the greatest truth, there is nothing so hurtful to Christian wisdom as that it should not be known, since it possesses, when loyally received, inherent power to drive away error. (Pope Leo XIII, Sapientiae Christianae, January 10, 1890.)
Accordingly, We first of all declare that all Catholics have a sacred and inviolable duty, both in private and public life, to obey and firmly adhere to and fearlessly profess the principles of Christian truth enunciated by the teaching office of the Catholic Church. In particular We mean those principles which Our Predecessor has most wisely laid down in the encyclical letter "Rerum Novarum." We know that the Bishops of Prussia followed these most faithfully in their deliberations at the Fulda Congress of 1900. You yourselves have summarized the fundamental ideas of these principles in your communications regarding this question.
These are fundamental principles: No matter what the Christian does, even in the realm of temporal goods, he cannot ignore the supernatural good. Rather, according to the dictates of Christian philosophy, he must order all things to the ultimate end, namely, the Highest Good. All his actions, insofar as they are morally either good or bad (that is to say, whether they agree or disagree with the natural and divine law), are subject to the judgment and judicial office of the Church. All who glory in the name of Christian, either individually or collectively, if they wish to remain true to their vocation, may not foster enmities and dissensions between the classes of civil society. On the contrary, they must promote mutual concord and charity. The social question and its associated controversies, such as the nature and duration of labor, the wages to be paid, and workingmen's strikes, are not simply economic in character. Therefore they cannot be numbered among those which can be settled apart from ecclesiastical authority. "The precise opposite is the truth. It is first of all moral and religious, and for that reason its solution is to be expected mainly from the moral law and the pronouncements of religion." (Pope Saint Pius X, Singulari Quadam, September 24, 1912.)
How grievously all these err and how shamelessly they leave the ways of honesty is already evident from what we have set forth here regarding the origin and nature of wedlock, its purposes and the good inherent in it. The evil of this teaching is plainly seen from the consequences which its advocates deduce from it, namely, that the laws, institutions and customs by which wedlock is governed, since they take their origin solely from the will of man, are subject entirely to him, hence can and must be founded, changed and abrogated according to human caprice and the shifting circumstances of human affairs; that the generative power which is grounded in nature itself is more sacred and has wider range than matrimony -- hence it may be exercised both outside as well as within the confines of wedlock, and though the purpose of matrimony be set aside, as though to suggest that the license of a base fornicating woman should enjoy the same rights as the chaste motherhood of a lawfully wedded wife.
Armed with these principles, some men go so far as to concoct new species of unions, suited, as they say, to the present temper of men and the times, which various new forms of matrimony they presume to label "temporary," "experimental," and "companionate." These offer all the indulgence of matrimony and its rights without, however, the indissoluble bond, and without offspring, unless later the parties alter their cohabitation into a matrimony in the full sense of the law.
Indeed there are some who desire and insist that these practices be legitimatized by the law or, at least, excused by their general acceptance among the people. They do not seem even to suspect that these proposals partake of nothing of the modern "culture" in which they glory so much, but are simply hateful abominations which beyond all question reduce our truly cultured nations to the barbarous standards of savage peoples. (Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii, December 31, 1930.)
Those who hold the reins of government should not forget that it is the duty of public authority by appropriate laws and sanctions to defend the lives of the innocent, and this all the more so since those whose lives are endangered and assailed cannot defend themselves. Among whom we must mention in the first place infants hidden in the mother's womb. And if the public magistrates not only do not defend them, but by their laws and ordinances betray them to death at the hands of doctors or of others, let them remember that God is the Judge and Avenger of innocent blood which cried from earth to Heaven. (Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii, December 31, 1930.)
Such words are foreign to a rebel who eschews “theology” and “doctrine” as somehow being “obstacles” to the “realization” of what is said to be the mercy of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, meaning, of course, that His mercy was not truly available until he, the man who boasts of having been formed in a “liberated” liturgical style, unlocked the key to let this mercy flow anew. What hubristic blasphemy.
The profane, sacrilegious display that modern-day “Wizards of Oz” created to be shown on the face of the Basilica of Saint Peter on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary contained absolutely no references to the Holy Faith or to the very fairest flower of the human race, Our Lady herself, she who was preserved from all stain of Original and Actual Sin and who enjoyed a perfect integrity of body and soul as a consequence thereof. Then again, how could the Jews, atheists, agnostics, evolutionists, population controllers and earth-worshipers who designed this hideous pantheistic display even think of honoring the woman whose very Immaculate Conception crushed the head of Satan in whose employ they have long been and continue to be?
The only thing that is real and lasting, however, is the Holy Faith. Nothing else. It is the beauties of the Holy Faith that we must contemplate upon in our daily meditations, and while a Catholic sees in nature and created things the glory of the good God’s creative work, he does not consider “saving” finite matter as the first and defining cause of his existence. A Catholic honors God, not created things, and he does this by living as befits a redeemed creature in light of First and Last Things, giving thanks every day for the gift of the Catholic Faith and meditating every night upon the stark realities of Death, Judgment, Heaven and Hell that no illusionist can wipe away with light shows and other such diabolical sleights of hand.
As mentioned just above, Our Lady is indeed the fairest flower of the human race. Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has entrusted to her own Immaculate Heart the cause of world peace and an end to the spread of the errors of Russia that Bergoglio and his band of pantheistic Jacobins celebrate and promote with evangelical fervor. This gives us all the more reasons to contemplate on the glories of Our Lady, which is why I am including some extended passages about Our Lady for this Advent season from Father Maurice Meschler’s The Life of Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Son of God, in Meditations in the appendix below.
Sacrilegious and profane acts such as took place on the façade of the Basilica of Saint Peter two days ago require acts of reparation from us for love of Our Lord as His consecrated slaves through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, starting with praying as many Rosaries each day as our state-in-life permits.
The following prayers, taken from The Raccolta, also provide us with a means to honor Our Lady, whose feast was profaned and mocked both by a “jubilee year” that “welcomes” unrepentant sinners just “as they are” and for the sacrilegious illusions created by assorted enemies of her Divine Son, Christ the King, as we seek to make reparation for our own sins and those of the whole world:
O Virgin Immacuculate, who wast pleasing in the Lord’s sight and didst become His Mother, look graciously upon the wret hed who implore thy mighty patronage. The wicked serpent, against whom the primal curse was hurled, continues none the less to wage war and to lay snares for the unhappy children of Eve. Ah, do thou, our blessed Mother, our Queen and Advocate, who from the first instant of thy conception didst crush the head of our enemy, receive the prayers that we unite single-heartedly to thine and conjure thee to offer at the throne of God, that we may all come to the haven of salvation; and in the midst of so many dangers may holy Church and the fellowship of Christians everywhere sing once more the hymn of deliverance, victory and peace. Amen. (The Raccolta: A Manual of Indulgences, Prayers and Devotions Enriched with Indulgences, approved by Pope Pius XII, May 30, 1951, and published in English by Benziger Brothers, New York, 1957, no. 368, pp. 262-263.)
O Mary, Mother of God and Mother of us, thou who by a singular privilege, in virtue of the foreseen death of our Redeemer, was redeemed from the first moment of thy conception and preserved immune from every spot of original sin, we firmy believe in this thy privilege and we proclaim it aloud, saying: “Thou art all fair, O Mary, and in thee there is no stain”; thou art the Immaculate; they raiment is white as snow; thy face shines like the sun; in thee we marvel at the brightness of eternal light and the spotless mirror of divine beauty. Like the divine Redeemer, thou art wholly and utterly fair, for to Him can be no stain and thou art His most perfect reflection,
We all rejoice in the Lord, as we celebrate the feast that recalls this singular privilege of thine, O Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, and we unite ourselves to thee in magnifying and thanking Our Lord, who through thee hath done such wondrous deeds, and hath given us in thee good cause for rejoicing.
We would be ever worthy to love thee and to sing thy glories, O Mary, our Immaculate Mother, but we are by nature sons of wrath and only by grace can we become thy children and acceptable unto thee. From thee we hope for the assistance of obtaining the pardon of our sins, the strength to overcome our wicked passions, and to escape the snares laid for by the world and the devil. Wherefore, O Immaculate Mother, Mary, inspire in us an intense hatred of sin, perfect contrition for the sins we have committed, and a lively fear of falling again into sin; make our hearts and our bodies immaculate, lest we be confounded forever; and so, being cleansed of sin, with our passions under control, and the enemies of our salvation have overcome, with pure hearts burning with love of thee, may we be able to sing to thee with unfaltering words: “Thou art all fair, O Mary, and in there is no original stain; thou are our glory, and our joy.” (The Raccolta: A Manual of Indulgences, Prayers and Devotions Enriched with Indulgences, approved by Pope Pius XII, May 30, 1951, and published in English by Benziger Brothers, New York, 1957, no. 374, pp. 268-269.)
We must contemplate on the glories of Our Lady as he is really our heavenly Mother, given to us by her Divine Son, Christ the King, as He redeemed us, not on the illusions created by delusional men who do not realize that everything they believe and have committed their lives to promoting will be swept away when a true pope is restored to the Throne of Saint Peter and thus fulfils Our Lady’s Fatima Message by consecrating Russia with all of the world’s true bishops to her own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart.

1.THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER OF JESUS IN ETERNITY.
Mary's life in eternity consists in her eternal predestination in the thoughts and counsels of God. Predestination in general is shared with Mary by all creatures, but not in the same manner. She was after Christ, the first chosen by God; not according to time, but according to dignity and elevation. For God chose her from eternity, not only for grace and glory, but also for the dignity of Mother of God; yes, if one may so speak, rather for the dignity of Mother of God than for grace and glory, because the measure of her grace and glory was strictly proportioned to the sublimity of this dignity. Thus the theologians who are of opinion that Christ was foreseen and predestinated before all creatures and before sin, use similar terms of His Mother. However this may be, she is at all events the first in rank after Christ. She and her Divine Son are the principal and most sublime beings of the whole creation in the divine thoughts and counsels; indeed they are always together in God's thoughts. They form, as it were, a distinct order united in the closest intimacy, and thence also bear the greatest similarity to each other in nature, grace, glory, duties in life and destiny. And this relation extends to their predestination. That is the reason why the Church applies to Mary those passages of Holy Scripture which depict the life and activity of the God-Man before the creation, as the Son of God and Eternal Wisdom. “The Lord possessed me in the beginning of His ways, before He made anything, from the beginning. I was set up from eternity, and of old before the earth was made . . . . When He prepared the heavens, I was there . . . forming all things and was delighted every day, playing before Him at all times” (Prov. Viii, 22 seq.). “I came out of the mouth of the Most High, the first-born before all creatures . . . I dwelt in the highest places, and my throne is in a pillar of a cloud: (Eccli. Xxiv. 5 seq.).
It is charming to contemplate the Mother of God in the divine ideas, enveloped in the splendour of the predestination of Jesus. Just as the Child of Bethlehem is one of God's first ideas, and was ever present to Him at the origin of the whole creation, so also was His Virgin Mother; and as the God-Man was the first and most glorious of all ideas, so after Him comes Mary; and as she was the sweetest, the purest and holiest creature that ever gladdened this earthly life, so also was the thought and imagination of the future Mother of God the joy of the divine creative goodness. Her beautiful life on earth and the glory of her life in heaven are but the actual reflection of her glory in the creative thoughts of God.
2.THE MOTHER OF GOD IN THE OLD CONVENANT
As the Saviour had been prepared for and typified in the Old Covenant, so too was His Mother.
Mary belonged, in the first place, to the faith of the Old Testament, in consequence of the prophecies. She was already promised to our first parents, as the woman whose son should overcome the serpent (Gen iii. 15). Especially and expressly, however, was the virginal birth of the Emmanual promised to Achaz and the whole people, as a sign of deliverance from the danger which was impending upon the House of David and upon Jerusalem, through the alliance of the king of Israel with the king of Assyria. “Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanual” (Isa. vii. 14). Almost the same promise is given by Jeremias, though in more obscure terms: “The Lord hath created a new thing upon the earth; a woman shall compass a man” (Jer. xxxi. 22) The prophet Micheas also points to the delivery of the “woman that travaileth” as as the end of oppression and the fulness of salvation (Mich. v. 3). Thus she was received into the revelation of the Old Covenant, as the Virgin Mother of the Messias.
She was also interwoven with its history, by the numerous types which, partly in inanimate things, partly in persons, foretold her virtues, privileges, graces, her position and office towards the new people of God. Thus the burning bush (Ex. Iii. 2), Gedeon's fleece (Judg. vi. 37), Aaron's blossoming rod (Num. xvii. 8) were types of her Immaculate Conception; the seven-branched candlestick and the Tabernacle, of the rich treasures of her graces; and the Ark of the Covenant, of her priestly vocation as the medium of God's real presence among His people. Not less brilliantly are her types unfolded in the array of the great women of Israel – in Eve, Sara, Rachel, Judith, Esther – who reveal the virtues of the Mother of God and her position towards Christ's kingdom.
Finally, she also belonged to the family of David, and was thus united by a new bond with the most glorious period of the Israelite nation. That she was a descendant of the family of David is the testimony of several of the holy Fathers, e.g. St. Ignatius of Antioch (Ad Eph. xviii), the holy martyr St. Justin (Contra Tryph. c.) St. Paul says that the Son of God “was made to him of the seed of David according to the flesh” (Rom. I. 3.), and “made of a woman” (Gal. iv. 4); and St. Peter, that “God had sworn to him (David) with an oath that of the fruit of his loins one should sit upon his throne: (Act. ii. 30. Ps. cxxx. 11). Besides this, the holy Fathers say that Mary was the heiress-daughter of a line of David, and was expected, according to the law (Num. xxxvi. 6), to marry one of her own kindred. And this is very probable, considering that on account of her vow of virginity Mary would otherwise never have consented to a betrothal. Thus the pedigree of St. Joseph was in great part identical with that of Mary; and she was a true daughter of David, and heiress not only of the glory of his family, but also of his race, and of the whole nation and the whole Covenant. As as aloe sprouts forth its leaves and sheds them again, season after season, for a hundred years, until at last the flower appears, so also the Old Covenant sprouted and flourished and bore leaves of royal, priestly and prophetic honours. They were all on Mary's account, in whom the varied splendours of the preparation reached their culminating point and perfection. For this reason the Church applies to Mary the words: “Then the Creator of all things commanded, and said to me. . . . Let thy dwelling be in Jacob, and thy inheritance in Israel, and take root in My elect . . . . And so was I established in Sion, and in the holy city likewise I rested, and my power was in Jerusalem. And I took root in an honourable people and in the portion of my God His inheritance, and my abode is in the full assembly of saints” (Eddli. Xxiv. 12-16). So “has God”, says St. Bernard (Hom. 2 Miss.), “not taken to Himself a mother of to-day or at random, but a mother chosen from the beginning, foreseen by the Most High, guarded by the angels, foretold by the prophets and typified by the patriachs; in a word, a mother of whom God Himself appears to have foretold:
'I will put enmity between thee and the woman”.”
3.THE EARTHLY LIFE OF MARY
At last Mary, the blessed child of St. Joachim and St. Anne, appeared on earth. Her earthly life was the proximate preparation for Christ, and similar to His. The way was prepared for Christ in her, first, with regard to her natural qualities. Mary had a body noble in form, perfect in its strength and the grace of its proportions, so pure that Christ might share her blood, so beautiful that He might bear in His own features the stamp of her grace and comeliness. If God made the bodies of Adam and Eve so perfect, because He thought of Christ, who was to be their image (Tertull. Ce carn. Chr. vi). How much more perfect and beautiful must Mary's body have been, from which He was actually to be born! – He intellect and her heart alike were incomparable. After Christ's there has probably never been a more splendid intellect or a better and more harmonious disposition that Mary's; for it was necessary that she should resemble our Saviour and be a fitting companion for Him. Mary was a daughter of kings and even in the natural order the masterpiece of God's creation.
But what of the order of grace! As Christ was always sinless, because He was never touched by a breath of evil concupiscence; as He always possessed grace, and that in an all-surpassing measure: so also Mary, with this difference only, that all this belonged to Christ by right, whilst it was only granted to Mary on account of Him and His merits, and always in a subordinate degree. The beginning and foundation of this holiness was laid in her Immaculate Conception, by which she not only remained free from original sin, but also received the plentitude of sanctifying grace and all the gifts of grace, to such a degree as has never fallen to the lot of any other created being, together with the gift of perseverance and freedom from all concupiscence. This Immaculate Conception is the most glorious fruit of the redemption by Christ and its most splendid victory, the first complete victory of Satan. In this Conception his head was already crushed. Mary was thus the first and most magnificent creation of the new order, worthily endowed for the office of Mother of God, to fit her for which she received these wonderful prerogatives.
Her subsequent life also, until the Conception of our Lord, was a worthy preparation for Christ. According to tradition she spent her youth in the Temple among other virgins in work for the divine service, in prayer, and in the practice of all virtues. This life was a true school of the Holy Ghost. He was her Master and Teacher; her heart was His most pure temple, and He worked His way therein in a marvellous manner, and prepared her for the Divine Motherhood with masterly skill. Thus these words of the Book of Wisdom may be applied to her: “I was exalted like a cedar in Libanus, and as a cypress-tree on Mount Sion; I was exalted like a palm-tree in Cades, and as a rose-plant in Jericho; as water in the streets was I exalted. I gave a sweet smell like cinnamon and aromatical balm; I yeilded a sweet odour like the best myrrh; and I perfumed my dwelling . . . . as the frankincense . . . . As the vine I have brought forth a pleasant odour; and my flowers are the fruit of honour and riches” (Eccli. xxiv. 17-23).
The final preparation of Mary for Christ was her betrothal to St. Joseph, before the Annunciation of the angel and the Incarnation (Luke i. 27). 0 It may well be assumed that Mary who would know nothing of any man (Luke i. 34). was not induced to enter upon a betrothal by her own natural inclination, but only by the Will of God. This Will of God was probable revealed to her by the priests and by the law, according to which she, as the heiress-daughter (in all probability) of a line of David, must enter upon an alliance of God, and in so doing acted under Divine Providence, which made of this betrothal the final preparation for the advent of the Son of God.
Nazareth in Galilee was the place where Mary, this noble scion, of the root of David, bloomed and grew up in preparation for her high and important vocation for Israel and for the whole world (Luke i. 26). The little town lies, quiet and peaceful, as though hidden in the hollow of a shell, in the midst of a circle of hills, between the heights which form the northern boundary of the plain of Esdrelon. From the depth of the oblong valley rise, row upon row, the white houses of the little town, reaching half-way up the mountain, whence the eye roams over the beautiful view across Galilee to the sea, and over the Lake of Genesareth. Olive, pomegranate, and fig-trees, tall green cactus-plants and a few scattered date-palms give to Nazareth and the whole landscape a certain grace and charm of appearance. Nazareth is called for this reason the “white town” and the “flower of Galilee.”
Such was Mary's life up to the time of the Incarnation. How beautiful, how sublime and sweet it is! In very truth the life a future Mother of God, full of purity and virtue. Theologians say also that, though she could not merit that dignity of Mother of God, she was nevertheless worthily prepared for it, and that she merited this preparation by her co-operation with grace and by her virtues. So Christ and His kingdom are already founded and prepared in her. What the dawn is to the sun, that is Mary to Christ. Christ shares everything with her: His life before the creation, in the bosom of the Father, by her eternal predestination; His existence in the Old Covenant, and His privileges of nature and grace. What a fitting subject is Mary for our thoughts and aspirations during the holy season of Advent! We too, in our degree must prepare ourselves and the world for Christ.
