Terminal Infantalism

The next commentary to be published on this site is going to focus on the celebration that will take place today (several hours after this brief reflection is published) inside the walls of the Occupied Vatican on the West Bank of the Tiber River as Rabbi Bergoglio meets his virtual co-religionists from the World Jewish Congress on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the promulgation of Nostra Aetate y Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini/Paul the Sick and the fathers of the “Second” Vatican Council.

As the next commentary, part of which has been written as it is very easy to predict what Bergoglio will say to his Talmudic friends, most of whom are completely pro-abortion and pro-perversity, will be very hard hitting, I thought it useful to spend just a bit of time swatting away at one can be called “terminal infantilism.”

What do I mean?

Well, I am so happy that you asked that particular question. I will be delighted to take just a few moments of your time on this Feast of Saints Simon and Jude to attempt a very brief answer.

One of the many consequences of lack of a superabundance of Sanctifying and Actual Graces flowing out into the world involves the false, infantile belief that to criticize someone for anything is to “hate” him.

Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro and many of his supporters are quick to denounce any and all criticize of him and his lawless policies as racists who are filled with resentment against a black president (who happens to half Caucasian as well, of course).

To oppose the chemical and surgical slaughter of the innocent preborn is said to engage in a “war against women.”

Those who oppose the promotion of the sin of Sodom under the cover of civil law and all throughout what passes for popular culture are said to “hate” homosexuals, lesbians, mutants and other practitioners of perverse sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance. “Homophobia” has even been denounced by officials of the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

To support the legitimate enforcement of the immigration laws to secure the integrity of the borders and the public health and safety of the citizens of the United States of America is said to be
“anti-immigrant.”

To point out that Mohammedans who commit acts of terror around the world are being completely faithful to the blasphemous Koran is said to be “Islamophobia.”

Any number of like examples could be given.

Each example, however, is nothing other than infantilism, that is, the emotional reaction of a child steeped in disordered self-love who wants to use every manipulative emotional trick in the book to get his way.

As I used to explain to my students during the thirty some years of my college teaching career that had a brief reprise last year before ending suddenly (in part, although only in part, because I refused to be “neutral” on matters of moral right and wrong and was vocal about the demand that had been made for me to maintain such “neutrality”), the precepts of the Natural Law require those who serve in the civil government to exercise statesmanship, that is, to do what is correct, not what is expedient for their retention of popular support and thus of their hold on power. This requires a civil office-holder to go against the grain of “public opinion” even to the point of forfeiting popularity, human respect and career success.

We must please God, not men. Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ really meant it when He said:

[26] For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul? (Matthew 16:27.)

Human nature being what it is, however, those amongst the citizenry who do not want to hear hard truths recoil into a form of infantile behavior as though to say to some civil potentate who, for example, might be opposed to the slaughter of the innocent preborn and to the perverse, indecent absurdity that is “gay marriage, “You’re mean! You’re nasty. You’re a hater. Well, I hate you, too!”

I would look around a classroom after explaining this, smiling as I did so before saying: “Now, I am sure that none of you ever said to your parents, ‘You’re mean! You’re nasty! You hate me. You just don’t want me to be happy, do you? Well, I hate you, too’ when you did not get your way.” Most students would laugh. Indeed, some of their eyes lit up as though to say, “I get it!”

Unfortunately, however, most people in the world today, including most Catholics, sad to say, don’t “get it,” believing that to criticize the Argentine Apostate is to “hate” him even though he is the one guilty of hating God as He has revealed Himself to us through His Sacred Deposit Faith. It is to hate no one to criticize him for doing or saying something that is wrong.

Does a physician “hate” a diabetic when he tells him to change his diet?

Does a physician “hate” a patient who is overweight when telling him to lose weight?

Does a teacher “hate” a student when telling him that his answer is wrong on an examination, that there are not, for example, fifty-nine states in the United States of America, or that two plus two does not equal seventeen?

We make mistakes. We must be corrected if we do not recognize our mistakes and correct them on our own in cooperation with the graces sent to us by Our Lady.

Although there are times that we will be criticized unjustly, each of which is an opportunity to reparation to Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for what our sins, having transcended time, accused Him during His Passion and Death of being “guilty,” there are others when criticism is perfectly valid. To reject justifiable criticism as a sign of “hatred” on the part of a critic is to emote in an infantile manner.

Those with whom Jorge Mario Bergoglio are meeting today on the fiftieth anniversary of Nostra Aetate are past masters of emotional manipulation. Indeed, they have exploited the crimes of the Third Reich against Jews by all kinds of factual misrepresentation in order to make any and all criticism of Judaism to be redolent of Nazism itself.

Thus it is that the Talmudists and their conciliar enabler must denounce anyone who criticizes Talmudism and its efforts to suppress all mention of the Holy Name of Jesus in public are said to be “anti-Semitic,” veritable “haters” of Jews who are analogous to modern-day versions of Adolph Hitler and the members of the Third Reich.

Indeed, the conciliar officials themselves are very quick to label as “anti-Semitic” those who dare to reaffirm the simple fact that the Mosaic Covenant was superseded by the New and Eternal Covenant instituted by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at the Last Supper and ratified by the shedding of every single drop of His Most Precious Blood on the wood of the Holy Cross on Good Friday as the curtain in the Temple was down in two from top to bottom.

Most of the conciliar officials, including Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who certainly does like to demonize those who oppose any part of his own revolutionary schemes against the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law, believe that efforts to convert the Jews are both unnecessary and a sign of hostility to Jewish people and a sign of disrespect for their false religion that is opposed to the false spirit of “interreligious dialogue” and “cooperation.”

Cooperation in what?

The works of hell, that’s what.

To criticize Judaism as a dead, superseded religion that is loathsome in the sight of the true God of Divine Revelation, the Most Blessed Trinity, is not to hate Jews, whether observant of some type of Talmudism or secular. This is a point that I tried to make back in 2012 when the Southern Poverty Law Center placed me, at a long last, on their list of “radical Catholic traditionalist” “hate groups.”

As a good deal of criticism of Judaism is going to go into the next commentary, which should be published by tomorrow morning, Thursday, October 29, 2015, I want reprise what I wrote in 2012 so that those who monitor this site will, no matter what they protest for the sake of manipulating public opinion and perception, see once again what they know all too well: to be faithful to the mission of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to will the good of all men, the ultimate expression of which is the sanctification and salvation of their immortal souls as members of the Catholic Church, is to hate no one. If it is, of course, Our Lord Himself, Our Lord Himself must have been guilty of “hating” Saul of Tarsus when seeking his conversion as he was the road to Damascus to persecute more Christians after having presided over the stoning of Saint Stephen the Protomartyr.

This is a bit of what I wrote in 2012 after Fox News 19, Cincinnati, Ohio, simply took at face value a press release issued by the Southern Poverty Law Center that listed me as the head of a “hate group” in order to use rationality in the midst of the terminal infantilism used by those who deny the Sacred Divinity of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and who seek to out all mention of His Holy Name from oral utterance and written reference

July 8, 2012: It was nearly three months ago that I wrote Chopped Liver No More after I had discovered that had been smeared by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a "hate" group. Group? The number of people who support the work of this website can fit into minivan. Group? The Christophobes at the Southern Poverty Law Center cannot even count, it appears. Group?

Not unsurprisingly, I never received a response from the man, one Mr. Richard Todd, at Fox 19 News in Cincinnati, Ohio, who posted on the Fox 19 News website what appeared to be a press release from the Southern Poverty Law Center on March 9, 2012, after I sent him the following e-mail on Easter Saturday, April 14, 2012, the day that I discovered the posting:

Dear Mr. Todd:

I have, by sheer happenstance, come upon a news story with your byline dated March 9, 2012.

As one who is a trained academic and has a great deal of experience in investigative journalism, I find it very interesting that you printed (and perhaps broadcast) a story carrying a gratuitous assertion about my writing made by the notoriously anti-Catholic Southern Poverty Law Center without even bothering to contact me. Are the assertions of the Southern Poverty Law Center infallible and beyond criticism? Are their supposed "haters" to be denied any opportunity to refute these baseless accusations?

First of all, my website is not a "group." It is the continuation of the work that began with a printed journal of the same name in 1996. Although there are about five hundred "unique" visitors to my site each day, only about three hundred people, at the very most, bother to read my articles.

Second, for the Southern Poverty Law Center to be correct, Mr. Todd, then Saint Peter himself would have been guilty of "hate" when he exhorted the Jews who heard his discourse on Pentecost Sunday to convert to the Catholic Faith. Three thousand did so. This is not "hate." This is the fulfillment of the mission that the Divine Redeemer had given the Eleven before He Ascended to the Father's right hand in glory on Ascension Thursday, forty days after His Easter victory over sin and death by means of His Resurrection.

Third, you seem to be misinformed about the Immemorial Mass of Tradition as it is in se a refutation of the the "Second" Vatican Council, which is why it had to be eradicated and why those groups that are "permitted" to offer a modernized version of it must remain silent about apostasies that many within the structures of the conciliar structure recognize are offensive to God and harmful to souls.

Permit me to send you a link to an article of mine written over five years ago now that referred to an earlier Christophobic effort on the part of the Southern Poverty Law Center to smear traditional Catholic groups that adhere to nothing other than the immutable teaching of the God-Man that formed the very foundation of civilization for over a thousand years as various barbaric tribes and pagan peoples were converted to Catholicism in Europe and elsewhere: Hating Without Distinction. It is a long article. You may not have the time or the inclination to read it. In the interest of the slogan "fair and balanced," Mr. Todd, I think that the least you can do is to include a link to this article as it is my definitive refutation of the attempts by the Southern Poverty Law Center to intimidate Catholics who adhere to the immutable Catholic Faith into silence about what they know to be true.

The fact that Mr. Todd could take seriously the gratuitous assertions of the Southern Poverty Law Center, which is notorious for seeking to make money off of its "special alerts" and "intelligence reports" as it seeks to intimidate "radical traditional Catholics" from even expressing themselves in defense of the immutable teaching of the Catholic Church, without even sending an e-mail by way of asking me to comment simply makes the point that I have made repeatedly on this site: that those who reject the Sacred Divinity of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and hate the very mention of His Name, no less of the doctrine of His Social Kingship over men and their nations, control the "mainstream media" to such an extent that their assertions about various "hate groups" are taken at face value without even doing those accused the simple benefit, if even perfunctory, of a request for comment.

Ah, yes, Fox News, "fair and balanced."

I think not.

I waited eighteen days before drafting a letter on May 2, 2012, to the General Manager of Fox 19 News, Bill Lanesey, which I sent first a longtime friend of mine, attorney Thomas W. Condit of Norwood, Ohio, to have him vet it for me before forwarding it to Mr. Lanesey with an excellent cover letter of his own. Here is the text of the letter, which Mr. Condit  mailed to Mr. Lanesey on June 2, 2012:

Dear Mr. Lanesey:

I am sending this letter to you through the good offices of attorney Thomas W. Condit as my reputation has been very gravely damaged by a story that was posted by one Richard Todd on the Fox 19 website on March 9, 2012. I do not know whether the posted news story was broadcast as we do not have television. Indeed, I only found out about the posting by complete happenstance, being very shocked to discover what appears to be a press release of some kind issued by the Southern Poverty Law Center was taken at face value without any effort to interview me and ascertain my reaction to the accusation made against me.

I wrote to Mr. Todd on Saturday, April 14, 2012. To this date, Mr. Lanesey, I have received no response. The report in and of itself is completely irresponsible. The fact that Mr. Todd has not seen fit even respond to my e-mail further compounds this assault on my reputation as it would appear that I am supposed to be guilty as charged without any chance of explanation.

It is a very serious matter in today’s highly charged environment of political correctness to be charged with running a “hate group,” especially since (a) I have no “group” and (b) it is not to preach any kind of hatred to adhere to the immutable teaching of the Catholic Church to seek the conversion of all people, including Jews, to her maternal bosom just as the first Pope, Saint Peter, did on Pentecost Sunday. Disputes about ecumenism’s fidelity to the mission that the Divine Redeemer, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, gave to the Apostles before He Ascended to the Father’s right hand in glory on Ascension Thursday, are not resolved by those who do not belong to the Catholic Church, people who are not the arbiters of what is or is not orthodox Catholic doctrine.

Appended below is my letter to Mr. Richard Todd.

It is my hope that I will be given an opportunity by Fox 19 News to present my convictions, realizing that I am subject to criticism by others while at the same time rejecting the false characterization made of my work by a group known to vilify and castigate members of a religion of which they are not members and whose doctrines, therefore, they have no qualifications to comment.

Well, again unsurprisingly, I did not hear back from Mr. Lanesey for over a month, at which point I contacted Mr. Condit once more to ask him how to proceed. He told me that he would simply call Mr. Lanesey's office to try to secure a response. This is the response that I received from a Miss Rachel Folz on Tuesday, July 3, 2012:

Good afternoon Dr. Droleskey,

I am sorry for our delayed response to your originally query.

After reviewing your attorney’s letter and the article in question, we are going to stand by the post. The entire article is attributed to SPLC. However, if you’d like a comment to be place in the body of the story, I would be happy to do so; just email it to me.

After drafting a response and checking with Mr. Condit about it, I sent Miss Folz the following e-mail on Thursday, July 5, 2012:

"According to the prejudices of the Southern Poverty Law Center, Saint Peter himself, the first pope, would be consider the leader of a 'hate' group and and an anti-Semite for seeking the conversion of his own people to the Catholic Faith on Pentecost Sunday and thereafter. Saint Stephen the Protomartyr was stoned to death while seeking the conversion of his fellow Jews, a stoning presided over by Saul, who was converted by Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself while on the road to Damascus. Is Christ the King Himself an anti-Semite for seeking the conversion of Saul to the Catholic Faith?

"The contention made by the Southern Poverty Law Center is, therefore, gratuitous, slanderous and without any foundation in fact. It is to 'hate' no one to seek with urgency his unconditional conversion to the Catholic Faith. Furthermore, I am the leader of no 'group.' I have a website that seeks to defend the traditional Catholic teaching that has been under assault by alleged Catholics who have proved themselves to be unfaithful to the mission given by Christ the King to the Apostles before He Ascended into Heaven to convert all men and all nations.

"The Southern Poverty Law Center is incompetent to judge theological disputes among Catholics. There are some rabbis I know who take issue with the Southern Poverty Law Center's support for abortion and other social evils. Are they anti-Semitic as well?

"Fox 19 News would do well to check with those accused before printing such baseless assertions as those made by the Southern Poverty Law Center against me."

Yes, yes, yes. The infallibility of corporate America. My response to Miss Folz was direct and pointed in an e-mail sent on Friday, July 6, 2012:

Yes, Miss Folz, I see that an edited version of my statement has been posted.

It would have been my preference that the statement be run with the concluding observation about Fox 19 News as it has been my practice as an academic researcher/professor and journalist to seek comment from those being criticized. This used to be standard practice in journalism even when I was writing for a local newspaper in Oyster Bay, New York, when in high school in the 1960s. We seem to live in an age when no corporation can admit to being wrong about anything at any time

To be tarred unjustly with the accusation of anti-Semitism can damage a person greatly, especially one in the public domain who is trying to support his family with other work. Fairness and accuracy should, therefore, direct a journalist to check with those accused before any press release or "finding" from a lobbying organization is taken at face value.

This is a "losing" effort on my part. I realize that. However, I have to be faithful to what I know is true, both supernaturally and naturally.

Thus it is that Fox 19 News's refusal to admit error in not contacting me prior to the posting of the Southern Poverty Law Center press release that targets me as a "radical traditionalist" when I am simply a Catholic who, despite his many sins and failings, is seeking to defend the immutable truths of the Catholic Church that have been under attack by the conciliar revolutionaries precisely to please the likes of those who run the Southern Poverty Center an the Anti-Defamation League of B'Nai Brith and not Christ the King was just par for the course in the world today.

Although the days for “free expression” in the United States of America are numbered, we must always defend the truths of the Faith at all times, especially when a false “pontiff” shows himself to be the world’s greatest anti-Semite alive today by refusing to do what Our Lord Himself did and what the Apostles themselves when they discharged the duties that had been given them before He Ascended to His Co-Equal and Co-Eternal God the Father’s right hand in Heaven on Ascension Thursday: to seek the conversion of all men, yes, even the Jews.

Today is the feast of two of those apostles, Saints Simon and Jude, both of whom shed their blood to defend the truths of the Holy Faith.

Saint Jude’s Epistle, written, of course, under the direct inspiration of the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, speaks directly of this time of apostasy and betrayal that God has given unto us to be the moment to serve Him the consecrated slaves of His Co-Equal and Co-Eternal Divine Son, Christ the King, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary:

[1] Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James: to them that are beloved in God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called. [2] Mercy unto you, and peace, and charity be fulfilled. [3] Dearly beloved, taking all care to write unto you concerning your common salvation, I was under a necessity to write unto you: to beseech you to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints. [4] For certain men are secretly entered in, (who were written of long ago unto this judgment,) ungodly men, turning the grace of our Lord God into riotousness, and denying the only sovereign Ruler, and our Lord Jesus Christ. [5] I will therefore admonish you, though ye once knew all things, that Jesus, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, did afterwards destroy them that believed not:

[17] But you, my dearly beloved, be mindful of the words which have been spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, [18] Who told you, that in the last time there should come mockers, walking according to their own desires in ungodlinesses. [19] These are they, who separate themselves, sensual men, having not the Spirit. [20] But you, my beloved, building yourselves upon your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

[21] Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, unto life everlasting. [22] And some indeed reprove, being judged: [23] But others save, pulling them out of the fire. And on others have mercy, in fear, hating also the spotted garment which is carnal. [24] Now to him who is able to preserve you without sin, and to present you spotless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, [25] To the only God our Saviour through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory and magnificence, empire and power, before all ages, and now, and for all ages of ages. Yes, there are blasphemers and mockers amongst.

Two sets of these will have met each other by the time many of you even read these words as they feast together with the carnal garments and condemn those who criticize them as “haters” when they are blasphemers of Christ the King’s personal Kingship over men and His Social Kingship over nations.

It is no accident that Saint Jude the Apostle is pictured with an image of the Holy Face of Jesus that was marred beyond recognition by our own sins. Our Lord was using Saint Jude even in the Apostolic Era to be an apostle and patron of devotion and reparation to His Holy Face. We must invoke the protection of the saint of hopeless cases to help us in these times, keeping close to Our Lady, his own kinswoman, especially through her Most Holy Rosary this month, the month of the Holy Rosary, and every day of our lives.
