Jorge Mario Bergoglio is Intent on Making the Protection of Sin Great Again

Leftists in the secular realm who speak about “protecting democracy” as they use unbridled lawfare of a most Stalinist manner to surveil, intimidate, persecute and, if necessary, prosecute to the fullest extent of law those who are deemed to be “threats to democracy,” namely, those who disagree in the very slightest with their “infallible” ideological programs that are nothing other than Marxism-Leninism disguised by means of various euphemisms (e.g. Environmental Social Guidance, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Critical Race Theory, etc.) or who even dare to believe that they can run for public office while making these criticisms.

As is well known, former President Donald John Trump, has been targeted for criminal prosecutions in no less than four different jurisdictions, two Federal and two state, and his Trump company has been prosecuted by the New York State Attorney General, Laetitia James, who ran for election on a “get Trump” policy, and has been subjected to the most evident case of unmasked judicial bias that can only be compared to those of the Stalinist era in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the “citizen trials” during the French Revolution, the mockery of believing Catholics being “tried” in Henry VIII’s and Elizabeth I’s England, and bigotry of many judges in the South who did not treat non-white defendants with anything approaching impartiality. The administration of Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., has also used show of armed force against peaceful Americans such as Mark Houck, deemed parents who complained about boys using girls’ bathrooms to be “domestic terrorists,” investigated members of the United States Congress and their staffs, has used the Department of Homeland Security to work with various social media concerns to label posts expressing criticism of the Delaware Grifter and/or expressing support for Donald John Trump as disinformation, worked overtime to suppress all facts about the harm caused by the poisoned jabs developed under "Operation Warp Speed, and has seen to it that peaceful pro-life activists who have engaged in acts of civil disobedience receive the same kind of monstrously long jail sentences that have been meted out to those who simply trespassed on the grounds of the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, without committing any acts of violence, and has engaged in endless demagogic attacks against alleged “fascists” when they, the Deep State/National Security State apparatchiks, are the ones who want to impose totalitarianism upon us all.

This use of raw statist power to suppress legitimate free speech and to intimidate and discredit the Federal government’s critics is not limited, though, to persons/groups discussed just above. No, even the thoroughly pro-abortion, pro-sodomite, Trump-hating non-stop party animal, Eric Adams, the current Mayor of the City of New York, New York, was targeted for a public shaming when he was approached by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on a street in the Borough of Manhattan before he was relieved of his electronic devices in what is said to be an investigation to Adams’s corrupt ties to the government of Turkey. The FBI’s seizure of Adams’s devices occurred in plain sight of the public in a manner that was, many believe, a desire on the part of the Biden administration to take him “down a notch or two” after he had dared to break with leftist orthodoxy on open borders that has seen the City of New York, a “sanctuary city,” flooded with illegal aliens:

The FBI seized Mayor Eric Adams’ electronic devices early this week as part of a federal probe into his campaign fundraising, The Post has learned.

The feds seized the electronics — which included at least two cellphones and an iPad — in connection to an investigation into whether Hizzoner’s 2021 campaign colluded with the Turkish government and others to direct money into his mayoral effort, sources told The Post after the news was first reported by the New York Times.

Adams’ campaign attorney Boyd Johnson said the mayor was cooperating with federal authorities and had already reported that a review found “an individual had recently acted improperly.”

“After learning of the federal investigation, it was discovered that an individual had recently acted improperly. In the spirit of transparency and cooperation, this behavior was immediately and proactively reported to investigators,” Johnson said in a statement obtained by The Post.

“On Monday night, the FBI approached the mayor after an event. The Mayor immediately complied with the FBI’s request and provided them with electronic devices. The mayor has not been accused of any wrongdoing and continues to cooperate with the investigation.”

The statement did not identify the individual or detail the improper behavior.

Adams himself added that “as a former member of law enforcement, I expect all members of my staff to follow the law and fully cooperate with any sort of investigation — and I will continue to do exactly that. I have nothing to hide.”

The agents approached Adams, 63, on the street after an event at New York University on Monday and asked his security team to step aside, a source told The Times.

The agents then got into Adams’ SUV with him and executed a court-authorized warrant to seize his devices.

The electronics were returned to the mayor within a few days, the sources said.

Sources told The Post that the FBI had notified Adams before, who was cooperative and willing to hand over the devices. However, the mayor did not know they were going to approach him in the street Monday evening.

“The manner in which he had his phones taken away in public seems targeted against the mayor in response to his stance on the immigration crisis,” another person with knowledge of the investigation told The Post.

Sources also told The Post that the mayor contacted investigators when he returned to Gracie Mansion and found more devices. He then coordinated with the FBI to turn over the additional electronics. It is unclear what these devices were.

It came a week after Adams had to abruptly and dramatically bail on a slate of White House immigration meetings to fly back to the Big Apple when FBI agents raided the home of his lead fundraiser Brianna Suggs — almost as soon as he had landed in Washington DC.

In the raid, agents seized two laptops, three cell phones and a folder labeled “Eric Adams.”

He later said the quick change of plans was out of a desire to support his team, including Suggs – a 25-year-old former intern the mayor lamented had gone through a “traumatic experience,” according to the New York Times.

The warrant obtained by the feds who burst into Suggs’ Brooklyn home sought documents related to contributions to Adams’ 2021 campaign, as well as records of travel to Turkey by campaign employees that could reveal more about any ties to the Turkish government.

The investigators were specifically looking for proof that the campaign kicked back benefits to leaders and employees at KSK Construction Group and Turkish officials as part of a “straw donors” scheme.

A straw donor is a person or company that illegally makes a donation with someone else’s money but uses their own name to hide its true source.

The search warrant – which was first obtained by the New York Times – also probed whether Adams’ campaign took advantage of New York City’s public matching program, which offers an eight-to-one match for the first $250 of a resident’s contribution.

Adams has repeatedly boasted about his ties with Turkey – even claiming last month that he is “probably the only mayor in the history of this city that has not only visited Turkey once, but I think I’m on my sixth or seventh visit to Turkey.”

But Hizzoner downplayed the seriousness of the investigation last week, stating, “where there’s smoke, there’s not always fire.”

Earlier this week, he confirmed that he hired Johnson, a former top federal prosecutor in Manhattan, as his defense attorney.

In July, Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg brought charges against six people – including a former police commander and a construction firm – for organizing a straw donor scheme to funnel cash to Adams’ mayoral bid. (Eric Adams had cellphones, iPad seized by FBI as part of corruption investigation.)

Seizing Mayor Adams’ phones and tablet on the street in public is the latest sign the feds aren’t simply investigating him: They’re out to inflict maximum embarrassment in a political vendetta, presumably in retribution for the noise he’s made about President Biden’s disastrous border policies.

The mayor is easy to find, 24/7/365: What reason to ambush him publicly event except to humiliate him?

And why else make sure his No. 1 press enemy, The New York Times, gets the story first?

Mind you, this follows the opening raid in this investigation — which stormed the home of his top fund-raiser while Adams was in the air en route to Washington to press Biden on his failure to help the city bear the multibillion-dollar cost of caring for the illegal migrants the prez is waving into the country.

That one leaked to the Times first, too.

And sources told The Post that timing was also intentional; the feds denied it — but of course they would.

To be clear: We have no idea whether the FBI will ever produce evidence that Adams did wrong, let alone whether he actually did.

It’s certainly beyond common for campaigns to accept donations they later learn were illegal; it definitely looks like the construction company in this case used straw donors to fraudulently conceal its giving.

But it usually takes the feds years to catch on, usually to a major pattern of violations, as in the case that sent multiple Andrew Cuomo donors and aides to prison. 

Nor need we remind readers in detail about the years it has taken to investigate Hunter Biden.

Which suggests a full-on effort to find something to hang on Adams ASAP — making the investigation a political hit whether or not he’s guilty.

And Adams’ repeated blasts at Biden over the migrant crisis are an obvious motive for that political abuse of law enforcement.

The mayor won’t appreciate us making this point, but this resembles the multiple prosecutions of ex-President Donald Trump: Even where Trump has crossed lines (e.g., in holding on to classified documents), the feds’ zealousness is all out of proportion in his case vs. other notorious violators of the same statutes, such as Hillary Clinton and Biden himself.

Weaponizing the FBI and Justice Department for political purposes is a major threat to democracy, no matter the victim. Congress needs to start asking tough questions about the Adams case. (Are the feds targeting Eric Adams because he criticized Joe Biden?.)

Eric Adams may very well be guilty of engaging in the same sort of shady deals with a foreign country for which Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., and his consiglieres (Hunter Biden, James Biden, Frank Biden) stand accused credibly of making and profiting therefrom for years upon years. However, where there is smoke there is usually fire, and the fire in this case is not necessarily any corrupt acts Adams may have committed but the fast and furious manner in which Merrick Garland’s Ministry of Injustice sought to embarrass him publicly after he had repeatedly criticized the Biden administration for the migrant crisis that has caused massive financial, social, and security problems within the City of New York.

Well, similarly, the unabashed leftist named Jorge Mario Bergoglio has made it a point to target, isolate, and remove his high-profile critics within the counterfeit church of conciliarism that he has headed since Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Staring with the “apostolic visitation” he order of the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate, the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate in 2013, and the Rogelio Livieres of Ciudad del Este in Paraguay in 2014, the Argentine Apostate, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, has engaged in a veritable reign of terror against “conservative” or “traditionally-minded” “bishops” that completely parallels his compatriots in the secular realm and, moreover, has become more nakedly bold and undisguised in recent years ever since he revoked Summorum Pontificum with Traditiones Custodes on July 16, 2021, the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The very man who waxes about “collegiality,” “synodality,” “participation,” and upon “listening to the “voice of the people” is the very same man who condemns as “ideological,” “closed-minded,” “self-referential,” and “hard-hearted” those who adhere to as much of the Catholic Faith as a corrupted (by the “Second” Vatican Council, attacks upon the nature of dogmatic truth, false ecumenism/inter-religious “prayer” services, the so-called Catechism of the Catholic Chiurch, and the 1983 conciliar code of canon law) sensus Catholicus informs them, and he is ever ready to act against these recusant Catholics, whether clerical or lay, at a moment’s notice without so much as consulting them personally in the manner he consults with practicing sodomites, mutants, and other practitioners of indecency, scurrility, blasphemy, heresy, apostasy, and outright sacrilege.

Thus, like the Joseph Robinette Bidens of the world, Jorge Mario Bergoglio is a consummate hypocrite who panders to hardened sinners without any desires at all to exhort them to quit their lives of perdition. This is eminently reasonable when one considers the fact that his own heart is hardened against authentic Catholic Faith, Worship, and Morals. He has indemnified Talmudists, Buddhists, Hindus, Protestants of all stripes (Anglicans, Lutherans, Methodists, Presbyterians, Evangelicals, “Mega Church” and “Gospel of Prosperity” adherents, freelancing Protestants of one sort or another), atheists, rationalists, pro-aborts, pro-sodomites, Communists, especially the Red Chinese, and globalist organizations such the Soros Foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the World Economic Forum, and the World Health Organization. He has spared nothing in his endless criticism of “conservatives” in public life and has denigrated his gratuitous rhetoric about abortion by personally indemnifying the likes of Nancy Patricia D’Alesandro Pelosi immediately the putative archbishop of San Francisco, Salvatore Cordileone, barred her from the reception of what purports to be Holy Communion in the Protestant and Judeo-Masonic liturgical service.

Once again, despite crying crocodile tears about clerical abusers, Jorge Mario Bergoglio has provided protection time and time again to his fellow Jacobin/Bolshevik conciliar revolutionaries who have been guilty of grave moral crimes involving rank perversity even what are acts of attempted sacrilege in the context of what purports to be true offerings of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, perhaps none so notorious as “Father” Marko Ivan Rupnik, S.J., whose notorious behavior with deeply satanic overtones was documented in an article on LifeSite News to which I choose not to link as it contained graphically disturbing details of sick and behavior from a man who believes himself to be a priest. It is only because of outcries of how Marko Ivan Rupnik got himself incardinated in a Slovenian diocese after being expelled by the Society of Jesus that “Pope Francis” decided to waive a statute of limitations that had been used as the pretext for not proceeding with ecclesiastic charges against him (see The Rupnik Case: How is this still happening?).

Unless the incredulous author at The Catholic Thing, however, we know that Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s impulse is to indemnify sodomite clerics and to make it a point to endorse sodomite-friendly clerics such as “Father” James Martin, S.J, the leaders of New Ways Ministry and Dignity USA, and to authorize his hand-picked prefect of the recently renamed “Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith,” Victor Manuel Fernandez, to permit mutants (“transgendered”) to serve as Baptismal Godparents and to be baptized themselves (see Trans persons can be baptized as Catholics, serve as godparents).

When it comes to those nasty “conservatives” who want to “cage” what Bergoglio calls “the spirit” (there are all kinds of spirits; not all of them are holy), however, Jorge Mario Bergoglio is ever eager to lower the boom, which is what he did when personally removing “Bishop” Joseph Strickland as the conciliar “bishop” of Tyler, Texas, on Saturday, November 11, 2023, after Strickland, who was subject to one of those infamous “apostolic visitations” headed by Jacobin/Bolshevik conciliar revolutionaries, one of whom, Gerald Kicanas, the retired “bishop” of Tucson, Arizona, protected sodomite clerical abusers. The backstory about the cast of clerical thugs involved in the Strickland investigation was chronicled very concisely in the following article found on a sedeplenist website:

On Saturday, November 11, Bishop Joseph Strickland was formally removed from the pastoral governance of the diocese of Tyler, Texas. The lawless process employed to remove him from office resembled a script from a gangster film.

The Players

The story began with an apostolic visitation ordered by the new prefect of the Dicastery of Bishops, Archbishop Robert Prevost. Prevost, a Chicago native, served as a missionary in Peru. On September 26, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him bishop of Chiclayo (Northern Peru.) On November 21, 2020, Francis appointed Prevost as a member of the Congregation for the Bishops upon the recommendation of Cardinal Blase Cupich of Chicago.

The visitation was conducted by Bishop Dennis Sullivan of Camden and Bishop Gerald Kicanas of Tucson in June of this year.

Bishop Sullivan gained national attention in 2014 when his diocese purchased a The New Jersey diocese purchased a 7,000 square foot mansion with eight bedrooms and six bathrooms. In 2020, Sullivan’s diocese filed for bankruptcy protection as a result of sexual abuse claims and later agreed to an $87 million payout in 2022.

Bishop Kicanas of Tuscon was formerly an appointed an auxiliary bishop in Chicago under Cardinal Joseph Bernardin. Kicanas was head of Catholic Relief Services in 2012 when they were funding pro-abortion pro-abortion groups. In 2010, Kicanas lost his bid to become president of the USCCB due to his radical position on several issues.

US Papal Nuncio Archbishops Christophe Pierre and Robert Prevost,head of the Dicastery for Bishops, met with Pope Francis in September to discuss the removal of Bishop Strickland. Both men were promoted to be cardinals later that month by Pope Francis.

Christophe Pierre is a French prelate who was named as Apostolic Nuncio to the United States in 2016. Pierre reportedly threatened Bishop Strickland at the USCCB fall meeting in 2021, “wagged his finger” at Strickland while saying “Bishop Strickland, we’re watching you — stop talking about the deposit of faith.” Pierre has also recently come under fire for disparaging comments regarding cassocks and the Traditional Latin Mass.

Pope Francis dropped the hammer on Bishop Strickland on Saturday, November 11, issuing a terse statement on the Vatican’s website announcing Strickland’s removal and the appointment of an apostolic administrator. The Vatican announcement did not provide a reason for the bishop’s removal. Strickland reportedly was not inform of his removal until he read the statement on Saturday morning.

Galveston-Houston Archbishop Cardinal Daniel DiNardo issued a statement later the same day stating that “continuation in office of Bishop Strickland was not feasible.” DiNardo serves as the metropolitan bishop responsible for dealing with governance matters in several Texas dioceses, including Tyler. Leaving aside this article’s acceptance of the nonexistent legitimacy of the conciliar church’s orders and the fact that the conciliar sect is not the Catholic Church, the information provided above is a fairly accurate summary of how “Bishop” Strickland came to be removed, it overlooks the fact that the results of the “apostolic visitation” were as predetermined as were the results of the 2014 and 2015 “synods” that produced Amoris Laetitia, March 19, 2016, and as the results of the 2023 “synod,” which will be continued in 2024, has already resulted in calls for “changes” at odds with what Christophe Pierre warned Strickland not to discuss, the Sacred Deposit of Faith. No investigation of any religious community or conservative/traditional “bishop” within the conciliar structures is intellectually honest. Each has a predetermined result: the removal and demonization of men who are opposed to Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s agenda to bring conciliarism to his logical conclusion: its “evolution” into being but a quasi-religious subsidiary of the Judeo-Masonic New World Order, which is why Senor Jorge enforced lockdowns upon the Catholic churches in conciliar captivity in Italy, endorsed and required anyone traveling with him on the antipapal plane to be fully vaccinated with the killer poisons, and has served as the waterboy for Klaus Schwab and George Soros, especially by means of supporting the 2030 “sustainable development goals” and serving as a clerical cheerleader for the transhumanist pantheism that is part and parcel of the “climate change” junk science (see Otto von Bergoglio’s Kulturkampf (or Jorge Mario Zedong’s Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution), part one, Otto von Bergoglio's Kulturkampf (or Jorge Mario Zedong's Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, part two, Otto von Bergoglio’s Kulturkampf (or Jorge Mario Zedong’s Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution), part three, and Otto von Bergoglio's Kulturkampf (or Jorge Mario Zedong's Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution), part four).

One of the “apostolic visitators, Gerald Kicanas, protected a known homosexual clerical predator, “Father” Daniel McCormack, when he, Kicanas, was an auxiliary “bishop” under the sodomite named Joseph Bernardin:

The documents name several Catholic leaders who were aware of the allegations against accused priests, and chose to not report it to authorities.

Among many others, Tucson Diocese Bishop Gerald Kicanas was one of the leaders in the Chicago Diocese at the time of these allegations.

The new information comes to light after the archdiocese handed the documents over to victims' attorneys, who said they wanted to show how the archdiocese concealed abuse for decades, including moving priests to new parishes where they molested again.

The records date back to the 1980's and 1990's, a time when Kicanas was a leader in a Chicago seminary that was home to some of the accused priests.

Tucson News Now attempted to talk to Bishop Kicanas at the diocese office, but we were told that unless we kept the case of convicted priest Daniel McCormack out of our story, the Bishop would not grant our request for an interview.

A diocese spokeswoman said the Bishop was under court order not to discuss specifics in that case.  We agreed not to ask questions about that particular case, but were told the Bishop would not interview with us unless we kept that case completely out of our story tonight.

The Bishop said it was unfair of us to mention the details, when he could not comment.  Former priest Daniel McCormack was charged and convicted of child abuse involving several young boys.  He was sentenced to five years in prison, all to be served concurrently.

In the 6,000 pages of investigative reports and court documents, Bishop Kicanas is mentioned in at least two cases: They involved Father Daniel McCormack and Father Russ Romano.

Lawyers say Bishop Kicanas was one of many Catholic Church leaders involved in a massive cover-up related to the priest sex-abuse cases.

In the Father McCormack case, court documents state Bishop Kicanas was aware of the allegations against McCormack but still supported his ordination to become a priest.  In an interview with the Sun-Times in 2007, Kicanas is quoted as saying, "It would have been grossly unfair not to have ordained him. There was a sense that his activity was part of the developmental process and that he had learned from his experience.  I was more concerned about his drinking.  We sent him to counseling for that." “Bishop” Joseph Strickland’s most grievous “crime” in Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s eyes is that he was adamantly opposed to the admission of homosexuals and the effeminate into the conciliar clergy and was opposed to the ever-evolving and ceaselessly mutating agenda of the alphabet soup collected of people who are not only to content to practice sodomy and its related vices but who demand that everyone accept and celebrate their “lifestyle” lest they singe their tender feelings and cause them even a moment of something approaching a qualm of conscience, thus replicating what Saint Paul the Apostle saw and condemned in pagan Rome and described as follows in his Epistle to the Romans:

For this cause God delivered them up to shameful affections. For their women have changed the natural use into that use which is against nature. And, in like manner, the men also, leaving the natural use of the women, have burned in their lusts one towards another, men with men working that which is filthy, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was due to their error. And as they liked not to have God in their knowledge, God delivered them up to a reprobate sense, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all iniquity, malice, fornication, avarice, wickedness, full of envy, murder, contention, deceit, malignity, whisperers, Detractors, hateful to God, contumelious, proud, haughty, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, foolish, dissolute, without affection, without fidelity, without mercy. Who, having known the justice of God, did not understand that they who do such things, are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them. (Romans 1: 18-32.)

Many there are within the “hierarchy” of the counterfeit church of conciliarism who are “filled with all iniquity, malice, fornication, wickedness, full of envy, murder, contention, deceit, malignity, and whisperers who are truly hateful of God, “proud, haughty, inventors of evil inventions” and completely without mercy.” Jorge Mario Bergoglio boasts of being so very “tolerant” and “merciful,” but he seethes with livid anger against men such as Joseph Strickland who think that they are defending the Catholic Faith even though they themselves have endorsed dogmatic evolutionism wrapped up and relabeled in the late Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI’s “hermeneutic of continuity,” are full-throated supporters of “religious liberty,” believe that Protestant “ministers” have a “mission” from Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Christ to serve and to sanctity souls, have practiced false ecumenism, and have helped to propagate explicit classroom instruction in matters pertaining to the Sixth and Ninth Commandments in violation of Pope Pius XI’s explicit prohibition of such instruction as contained in Divine Illius Magistri, December 31, 1929, while seeking to hold as “orthodox” the conciliar church’s inversion of the ends proper to Holy Matrimony.

No matter all this, though, Jorge Mario Bergoglio wants every one of his “bishops” to support what he supports, namely, welcoming unrepentant sinners who are steeped in lives of an unapologetic perversity and proving them with access to what purports to be Holy Communion without going to confession and to “bless” that “stable, loving” relationships if the occasion arises for them to do so. The real reason why “Pope Francis” sacked “Bishop Strickland” is the latter’s outspokenness against sodomy, including his trip to Los Angeles, California, to denounce the Los Angeles Dodgers’ presentation of a “community service” award to the blasphemous “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence."

Related to this is Non-Papa Jorge's hatred of even the modernized version of the Immemorial Mass of Tradition that was in place universally for precisely four years before it was supplanted by Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini/Paul VI's Ordo Missae, which went into effect on the First Sunday of Advent, November 29, 1964, because the Mass of all ages contains references to God's Divine Judgment on sinners, the need to make reparation for our sins, and the posibility of eternal damnation. Such references in the "Eucharistic celebration" are considered to be too "judgmental" and contrary to the "spirit of times," which is reflected in Paragraph Fifteen of the 2002 English translation of the conciliar sect's General Instruction to the Roman Missal:

The same awareness of the present state of the world also influenced the use of texts from very ancient tradition. It seemed that this cherished treasure would not be harmed if some phrases were changed so that the style of language would be more in accord with the language of modern theology and would faithfully reflect the actual state of the Church's discipline. Thus there have been changes of some expressions bearing on the evaluation and use of the good things of the earth and of allusions to a particular form of outward penance belonging to another age in the history of the Church. Now that the preliminaries are out of the way, it is important to emphasize once again that a man who believes himself to be a true bishop has a solemn obligation to obey a man he accepts as a true and legitimate Successor of Saint Peter. A man who believes himself to be a true bishop who concludes that he is duty bound to open criticize a true pope and to call his agenda opposed to the Sacred Deposit Faith has to have the intellectual honesty to conclude that such a “pope” is not pope at all and that the religious sect of which he heads is not now, has not been, nor can ever be the Catholic Church.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio talks about “collegiality” when it serves his purposes to browbeat the revanchists among his hierarchy and clergy to fall into life within by “smelling the scent of the sheep,” meaning never to call sinners stepped in sins of impurity, whether natural or unnatural, to correction and, failing that, to use his full plenipotentiary powers as a putative Supreme Pontiff to reshape the hierarchy so that they speak una voce dicentes as his vice-regents and emissaries. This is what a true pope should always want to do and the fact that the conciliar “popes,” including Jorge Mario Bergoglio, have sought to advance teachings that have been condemned by Holy Mother Church’s general councils and/or her true and legitimate Successors of Saint Peter should convince men who desire to defend the Faith such as “Bishop” Joseph Strickland, whom we saw once when we lived in Tyler, Texas, ten years ago as he was dining with an elderly couple at Oliveto Restaurant on the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (no, I did not introduce myself as I did not want to interfere as was having his meal with his parishioners), that, despite their best intentions and the apostolic courage that prompts them to act upon those intentions, that none of what has been happening in the past sixty five years, sixteen days has anything to do with the Catholic Faith and everything to do with the rise of a counter church that is Holy Mother Church’s corrupt ape.

Father William Heidt, O.S.B., a true priest who died on March 28, 2000, once explained in a class on the Sacred Liturgy forty years ago at Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell, Connecticut, that the “Modernists have learned the lessons of Martin Luther. Luther was blunt. They are cunning, and they know that they accomplish more to destroy Catholicism by claiming to be Catholic and controlling structures than by breaking away as Luther did. They want to destroy the Faith from within, which is what is happening now.”

Perhaps it is useful at this juncture to summarize what Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini/Paul VI sought to accomplish as one of the architects of the “new liturgy” that was meant to convey the “new mentality” of the new conciliar religion:

We must all modify the mental habits we have formed concerning the sacred ceremony and religious practices, especially if we have believed that ceremony to be a performance of outward rites and that in practice no more was required than a passive and distracted attendance.

One must make oneself aware that a new spiritual pedagogy has been born of the Council. That is what is novel about it, and we must not hesitate to make ourselves, first of all, disciples and then upholders of the school of prayer that has begun.

We may not relish this, but we must be docile and trust. The religious and spiritual plan unfolded before us by the new liturgical constitution is a stupendous one for depth and authenticity of doctrine, for rationality of Christian logic, for purity and riches of culture and art. It corresponds to the interior being and needs of modern man. . . . [the liturgical reform] affects habits that are dear to us, habits respectable enough maybe. . . . [and it might also be true that the reform] requires of us some effort.

It is well that this should be so, as one of the goals of the reform was the sharing of the faithful in the rites the priest directs and personifies. And it is good that it is actually the authority of the Church that wills, promotes and kindles the desire for this new manner of praying, thus giving greater increase to her spiritual mission.

It was and is, the Church's first care to safeguard the orthodoxy of prayer. Her subsequent care is to make the expression of worship stable and uniform, a great work from which the spiritual life of the Church has derived immense benefits. Now this care of hers is still further extended, modifying aspects of ancient rituals which are inadequate today.

The Church is aiming with courage and thoughtfulness to deepen th essential significance of community needs and the supernatural value of ecclesiastical worship. Above all, she is making more evident the part played by the word of God, whether of Sacred Scripture or that taught through the Church in the catechism and the homily, thus giving to the celebration its pure and, at the same time, its heart and center. See the appendix below for a rough translation from the Italian language original of the general audience remarks, which were divided into parts, the latter part of which reflects the Religious News Service wire report that was published in The Catholic Courier of the Diocese of Rochester. The then universal public face of apostasy, Paul VI, addressed the theme of false ecumenism on January 20, 1965, just in case you'd like to know what this egregious little man did for an encore seven days later.)

Well, ladies and gentlemen, to quote a former colleague of mine, "There you have it."

Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini/Paul VI provided a perfect description of the spirit of the counterfeit church of conciliarism's liturgical revolution that touched almost every theme that has been repeated by its apologists for the past sixty-three years now. Some of us have heard these themes over and over again, whether from the lecterns at which priests or presbyters gave their "homilies" or, in the case of those who us who spent time in seminary, in formal classroom settings.

Every revolutionary prescription imaginable is to be found in this gold mine of propaganda that has been preserved in the archives of the Diocese of Rochester, New York, which itself is a bastion of apostasy and of the lavender collective.

First, Paul The Sick noted that it was necessary to "modify mental habits," meaning that Catholics had to be "open" to accept a revolutionary program of liturgical change.

Second, Paul The Sick disparaged the Immemorial Mass of Tradition as something that required no more than a "passive and distracted" attendance on the part of the lay faithful. Paul The Sick had to do this as the very ordinary and collects of the Immemorial Mass of Tradition were reproaches to his own immersion in the "mentality" of the mythical entity known as "modern man" and because they contained references to a God Who judges and the necessity of reforming one's life that made his own conscience quite uncomfortable as a result of his proclivities (see "Blessed" Paul The Sick and In Death As In Life: The Antithesis Of Christ The King).

Third, Paul The Sick demanded complete adherence to the revolutionary liturgical agenda that had begun to unfold and which, quite indeed, had made its "transitional" appearance on Sunday, November 29, 1964, the First Sunday of Advent, as his Ordo Missae of 1965 went into effect, replacing the 1961/1962 Missal of Angelo Roncalli/John XXIII that had been in effect for all of three years at that point and, once "revived" to satisfy the poor Catholics "who feel attached to some previous liturgical and disciplinary forms of the Latin tradition" (Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II's  Ecclesia Dei adflicta, July 2, 1988) has become a means to incorporate various aspects of the Protestant and Judeo-Masonic Novus Ordo liturgical service into its staging.

Fourth, Paul The Sick, having emphasized that the liturgical revolution had to be adapted to the "needs" of "modern man, further disparaged the Immemorial Mass of Tradition by claiming that its ceremonies and rites were "respectable enough maybe," thus helping to inaugurate a global campaign in the counterfeit church of conciliarism to create a false memory of the past as "bad," something that is being continued to this present day by the current universal public face of apostasy, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who believes and has practiced a “liberated” liturgy.

Fifth, Paul The Sick appealed to the "people" and the role envisioned for them in the new liturgical rites that conform to their needs and emphasized "community needs," paving the way for the "inculturation of the Gospel" that one of Annibale Bugnini's acolytes, "Monsignor" Piero Marini, who served as liturgical master of ceremonies from 1987 to 2007, used to plan the "papal" extravaganza liturgical services, which were billed as "Masses," during the false "pontificate" of Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II, as the means to provide "papal" precedents for us at the local diocesan level. Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis has taken full advantage of this "inculturation of the Gospel" as envisioned by Montini and Bugnini and later prescribed in Paragraph 395 of the General Instruction to the Roman Missal:

395. Finally, if the participation of the faithful and their spiritual welfare requires variations and more thoroughgoing adaptations in order that the sacred celebration respond to the culture and traditions of the different peoples, then Bishops' Conferences may propose such to the Apostolic See in accordance with article 40 of the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy for introduction with the latter's consent, especially in the case of peoples to whom the Gospel has been more recently proclaimed. The special norms given in the Instruction On the Roman Liturgy and Inculturation should be carefully observed.

Regarding procedures to be followed in this matter, the following should be followed:

In the first place, a detailed preliminary proposal should be set before the Apostolic See, so that, after the necessary faculty has been granted, the detailed working out of the individual points of adaptation may proceed.

Once these proposals have been duly approved by the Apostolic See, experiments should be carried out for specified periods and at specified places. If need be, once the period of experimentation is concluded, the Bishops' Conference shall decide upon pursuing the adaptations and shall propose a mature formulation of the matter to the Apostolic See for its decision. (Paragraph 395, General Instruction to the Roman Missal.) 

"Cardinal" Bergoglio presided over all manner of liturgical travesties during his time as the conciliar "archbishop" of Buenos Aires, Argentina, from February 28, 1998, to March 13, 2013. He was doing so in perfect compliance with the sentiments expressed on January 13, 1965, by Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini/Paul The Sick.

Sixth, Paul The Sick's belief that his liturgical revolution would usher in a period of stability and doctrinal orthodoxy was the product of the sort of self-delusion that inspires both social and theological revolutionaries to march forward with their schemes that can do only one thing: produce instability as the means to accustom the faithful a steady regime of doctrinal deviations and a ceaseless wave of liturgical changes.

The progenitor of the Protestant Revolution, Martin Luther, decried the degeneration produced by his "reforms" but was powerless to stop it as he did not realize that those very "reforms" were the brainchild of the devils himself that of their very nature had to produce instability, novelty and ceaseless change to the point today where many "mainline" Protestants, particularly Anglicans, Presbyterians and Methodists, no longer believe in the Sacred Divinity of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Similarly, even though Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini/Paul The Sick at times in the 1970s decried certain aspects of his vaunted "renewal" of the Church that, according to the translation of his January 13, 1965, general audience address, was supposed to produce what he called "the vision of the new spiritual springtime," he was powerless to stop what he had put into motion as it was a revolution against the very integrity of the Sacred Liturgy that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ had taught the Apostles between the time of His Resurrection on Easter Sunday and that of his Ascension forty days thereafter. As noted above, “Bishop” Strickland must come to recognize that the papacy is the guarantor of the Holy Faith's orthodoxy, not its enemy, something that Pope Leo the Great himself noted in a selection from his works contained in the Divine Office for his feast day, which falls annually on April 10, which is suppressed this year because of Easter Monday:

When the Lord, as we read in the Evangelist, asked His disciples Who did men, amid their divers speculations, believe that He, the Son of Man, was; blessed Peter answered and said Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father, Which is in heaven and I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it; and I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Thus therefore standeth the ordinance of the Truth, and blessed Peter, abiding still that firm rock which God hath made him, hath never lost that right to rule in the Church which God hath given unto him.

In the universal Church it is Peter that doth still say every day, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God, and every tongue which confesseth that Jesus is Lord is taught that confession by the teaching of Peter. This is the faith that overcometh the devil and looseth the bands of his prisoners. This is the faith which maketh men free of the world and bringeth them to heaven, and the gates of hell are impotent to prevail against it. With such ramparts of salvation hath God fortified this rock, that the contagion of heresy will never be able to infect it, nor idolatry and unbelief to overcome it. This teaching it is, my dearly beloved brethren, which maketh the keeping of this Feast to-day to be our reasonable service, even the teaching which maketh you to know and honour in myself, lowly though I be, that Peter who is still entrusted with the care of all other shepherds and of all the flocks to them committed, and whose authority I have, albeit unworthy to be his heir.

When, therefore, we address our exhortations to your godly ears, believe ye that ye are hearing him speak whose office we are discharging. Yea, it is with his love for you that we warn you, and we preach unto you no other thing than that which he taught, entreating you that ye would gird up the loins of your mind and lead pure and sober lives in the fear of God. My disciples dearly beloved, ye are to me, as the disciples of the Apostle Paul were to him, (Phil. iv. 1,) a crown and a joy, if your faith, which, in the first times of the Gospel, was spoken of throughout the whole world, Rom. i. 8, abide still lovely and holy. For, albeit it behoveth the whole Church which is spread throughout all the world, to be strong in righteousness, you it chiefly becometh above all other peoples to excel in worth and godliness, whose house is built upon the very crown of the Rock of the Apostle, and whom not only hath our Lord Jesus Christ, as He hath redeemed all men, but whom also His blessed Apostle Peter hath made the foremost object of his teaching. Well, it is all there, isn’t it?

One must engage in all kinds of intellectual gymnastics to believe that the contagion of heresy is not rife within the counterfeit church of conciliarism, which is why all those who are not yet convinced of the truth of our ecclesiastical situation in this time of apostasy and betrayal should re-read these words:

This is the faith which maketh men free of the world and bringeth them to heaven, and the gates of hell are impotent to prevail against it. With such ramparts of salvation hath God fortified this rock, that the contagion of heresy will never be able to infect it, nor idolatry and unbelief to overcome it. (Pope Saint Leo the Great, as found in Matins, The Divine Office, Feast of Pope Saint Leo the Great.)

Jorge Mario Bergoglio has esteemed the symbols of idolaters. So have Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI and “Saint John Paul II” before his own election as the head of the false conciliar sect on March 13, 2013, and Bergoglio has shown repeatedly that he has no belief in the integrity of the Catholic Faith. So have his predecessors in the past sixty-five years, sixteen days.

Dom Prosper Gueranger praised Pope Saint Leo the Great as follows in The Liturgical Year:

One of the grandest Saints in the Church’s Calendar is brought before us today. Leo, the Pontiff and Doctor, rises on the Paschal horizon, and calls for our admiration and love. As his name implies, he is the Lion of holy Church; thus representing, in his own person, one of the most glorious of our Lord’s titles. There have been twelve Popes who have had this name, and five of the number are enrolled in the catalogue of Saints; but not one of them has so honored the name as he whose feast we keep today: hence, he is called “Leo the Great.”

He deserved the appellation by what he did for maintaining the faith regarding the sublime mystery of the Incarnation. The Church had triumphed over the heresies that had attacked the dogma of the Trinity, when the gates of hell sought to prevail against the dogma of God having been made Man. Nestorius, a Bishop of Constantinople, impiously taught that there were two distinct Persons in Christ—the Person of the Divine Word, and the Person of Man. The Council of Ephesus condemned this doctrine, which, by denying the unity of Person in Christ, destroyed the true notion of the Redemption. A new heresy, the very opposite of that of Nestorianism, but equally subversive of Christianity, soon followed. The monk Eutyches maintained that, in the Incarnation, the Human Nature was absorbed by the Divine. The error was propagated with frightful rapidity. There was needed a clear and authoritative exposition of the great dogma, which is the foundation of all our hopes. Leo arose, and, from the Apostolic Chair, on which the Holy Ghost had placed him, proclaimed with matchless eloquence and precision the formula of the ancient faith—ancient, indeed, and ever the same, yet ever acquiring greater and fresher brightness. A cry of admiration was raised at the General Council of Chalcedon, which had been convened for the purpose of condemning the errors of Eutyches. “Peter,” exclaimed the Fathers, “Peter has spoken by the mouth of Leo!” As we shall see further on, the Eastern Church has kept up the enthusiasm thus excited by the magnificent teachings given by Leo to the whole world.

The Barbarian hordes were invading the West; the Empire was little more than a ruin: and Attila, “the Scourge of God,“ was marching on towards Rome. Leo’s majestic bearing repelled the invasion, as his word had checked the ravages of heresy. The haughty king of the Huns, before whose armies the strongest citadels had fallen, granted an audience to the Pontiff on the banks of the Mincio, and promised to spare Rome. The calm and dignity of Leo—who thus unarmed confronted the most formidable enemy of the Empire and exposed his life for his flock—awed the barbarian, who afterwards told his people that, during the interview, he saw a venerable person standing, in an attitude of defense, by the side of Rome’s intercessor: it was the Apostle St. Peter. Attila not only admired, he feared the Pontiff. It was truly a sublime spectacle, and one that was full of meaning;—a Priest, with no arms save those of his character and virtues, forcing a king such as Attila was, to do homage to a devotedness which he could ill understand, and recognize, by submission, the influence of a power which had heaven on its side. Leo, single-handed and at once, did what it took the whole of Europe several ages to accomplish later on.

That the aureola of Leo’s glory might be complete, the Holy Ghost gifted him with an eloquence which, on account of its majesty and richness, might deservedly be called Papal. The Latin language had, at that time, lost its ancient vigor; but we frequently come across passages in the writings of our Saint which remind us of the golden age.

In exposing the dogmas of our holy Faith, he uses a style so dignified and so impregnated with the savor of sacred antiquity, that it seems made for the subject. He has several admirable Sermons on the Resurrection; and speaking of the present Season of the Liturgical Year, he says: “The days that intervened between our Lord’s Resurrection and Ascension, were not days on which nothing was done: on the contrary, great were the Sacraments then confirmed, and great were the mysteries that were revealed.” (Dom Prosper Gueranger, O.S.B., The Liturgical Year, April 11, Feast of Pope Saint Leo the Great.)

“Peter has spoken by the mouth of Leo.”

Yes, it is always Saint Peter who speaks through the mouth of a true and legitimate Successor of Saint Peter.

Have the conciliar “popes” spoken truth or have they, quite instead, propagated falsehoods with ready abandon and made it appear as though their invocation of a “living tradition” and/or a “hermeneutic of continuity” can disguise their belief in the philosophically absurd and dogmatically condemned Modernist precept of dogmatic evolutionism. Indeed, the conciliar revolution has degenerated to the point where some of Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s “theologians” speak openly in support of dogmatic evolutionism without making any advertence whatsoever to the euphemisms used by Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini/Paul VI, Karol Josef Wojtyla/John Paul II, or Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI.

The devil, not Saint Peter, has spoken and continues to speak through the mouths of the current line of antipopes.

Dom Prosper Gueranger’s prayer to Pope Saint Leo the Great reminds us of what the constituent elements of a true pope, including integrity of doctrine, a hatred of error, and a pastoral zeal for the good of souls without flinching when approached by the mighty of this world such as Attila the Hun:

Glory be to thee, O Jesus, Lion of the Tribe of Juda! that hast raised up in thy Church a Lion to defend her in those dark times when holy Faith was most exposed to danger. Thou chargedst peter to confirm his Brethren; and we have seen Leo, in whom Peter lived, fulfill this office with sovereign authority. We have heard the acclamation of the holy Council which, in admiration at the heavenly teachings of Leo, proclaimed the signal favor thou conferredst on thy Flock, when thou badest Peter feed both Sheep and Lambs.

O holy Pontiff Leo! thou worthily didst represent Peter in his Chair, whence thy apostolic teaching ceased not to flow, ever beautiful in its truth and majesty. The Church of thine own day honoured thee as the great Teacher of Faith; and the Church of every succeeding age has recognised thee as one of the most learned Doctors and preachers of the divine Word. From thy throne in heaven, where now thou reignest, pour forth upon us the understanding of the great Mystery which thou wast called on to defend. Under thy inspired pen, this mystery grows clear; we see how sublimely it harmonizes with all other mysteries; and faith delights at gaining so close a view of the divine object of its belief. Oh! strengthen this faith within us. The Incarnate Word is blasphemed in these our own times; avenge his glory, by sending us men of thy zeal and learning.

Thou triumphedst over barbarian invaders: Attila acknowledged the influence of thy sanctity and eloquence by withdrawing his troops from the Christian land they infested. In these our days, there have risen up new barbarians—civilized barbarians, who would persuade us that religion should be eliminated from Education, and that the State, in its laws and institutions, should simply ignore our Lord Jesus Christ, the King to whom all power has been given, not only in heaven but on earth also. Oh! help us by thy powerful intercession, for our danger is extreme. Many are seduced, and are apostates while flattering themselves that they are still Christians. Pray that the light that is left within us may not be extinguished, and that the public scandals which now exist may be brought to an end. Attila was but a pagan; our modern statesmen and Governments are, or at least call themselves, Christians: have pity on them, and gain for them light to see the precipice to which they are hurrying society.

These days of Paschal Time must remind thee, holy Pontiff! of the Easters thou didst once spend, here on earth, when, surrounded by the Neophytes, thou gavest them the nourishment of thy magnificent Discourses: pray for the Faithful, who have this Easter, risen to a new life with Christ. What they most stand in need of is, a fuller and better knowledge of this their Saviour, in order that they may cling more closely to him, and persevere in his holy service. Thy prayers must get them this knowledge; by thy prayers, thou must teach them what he is both in his Divine and Human Nature: that, as God, he is their Last End, and their Judge after death; as Man, their Brother, their Redeemer, their Model. Bless, O Leo! and help the Pontiff who is now thy successor on the Chair of Peter. Show now thy love for that Rome, whose sacred and eternal destinies were so frequently the subject of thy glowing and heavenly eloquence. Unfortunately for those who believe that they can resist, recognize, mock and disparage a man they believe to be a true and legitimate Successor of Saint Peter, the One responsible for the formulation of dogma is the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, under Whose infallible protection popes teach the truths of the Catholic at all times, yes, even when not proclaiming something solemnly ex cathedra. Catholics are bound to obey everything proposed by a true and legitimate Successor of Saint Peter without any degree of dissent, reservation or qualification. Monsignor Joseph Clifford Fenton proved that this is so in his scholarly treatises cited above.

As noted in Nota Bene: "Bishop" Joseph Strickland: "Whoever is Holy Does Not Dissent from the Pope" (Pope Saint Pius X), and A Perpetual Truth in the Midst of the Perpetual Reiteration of Error: A True Pope Is Never in Need of Correction, “Bishop” Joseph Strickland persists in the false ecclesiology that, to call to mind the words of the late Bishop Robert Fidelis McKenna, O.P., when describing the false ecclesiology of the Society of Saint Pius X, leads well-meaning Catholics to “have their pope and eat him, too.”

The fact that Jorge Mario Bergoglio has now sandbagged Strickland by personally declaring the See of Tyler to be “sede vacante” does not make him, Strickland, a martyr for Catholic orthodoxy as orthodoxy requires one to obey a true pope without any qualifications or reservations, something I will point out once again Pope Saint Pius X summarized as follows in 1912:

And how must the Pope be loved? Non verbo neque lingua, sed opere et veritate. [Not in word, nor in tongue, but in deed, and in truth - 1 Jn iii, 18] When one loves a person, one tries to adhere in everything to his thoughts, to fulfill his will, to perform his wishes. And if Our Lord Jesus Christ said of Himself, “si quis diligit me, sermonem meum servabit,” [if any one love me, he will keep my word - Jn xiv, 23] therefore, in order to demonstrate our love for the Pope, it is necessary to obey him.

Therefore, when we love the Pope, there are no discussions regarding what he orders or demands, or up to what point obedience must go, and in what things he is to be obeyed; when we love the Pope, we do not say that he has not spoken clearly enough, almost as if he were forced to repeat to the ear of each one the will clearly expressed so many times not only in person, but with letters and other public documents; we do not place his orders in doubt, adding the facile pretext of those unwilling to obey – that it is not the Pope who commands, but those who surround him; we do not limit the field in which he might and must exercise his authority; we do not set above the authority of the Pope that of other persons, however learned, who dissent from the Pope, who, even though learned, are not holy, because whoever is holy cannot dissent from the Pope.

This is the cry of a heart filled with pain, that with deep sadness I express, not for your sake, dear brothers, but to deplore, with you, the conduct of so many priests, who not only allow themselves to debate and criticize the wishes of the Pope, but are not embarrassed to reach shameless and blatant disobedience, with so much scandal for the good and with so great damage to souls. Whoever is holy cannot dissent from the pope.

This means that those who dissent from “Pope Francis” in the belief that he is a true and legitimate Successor of Saint Peter are not holy or that “Pope Francis” is no pope at all as it would never be necessary to oppose him and to dissent from his false teachings if he were such.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio makes a mockery of all that is true, all that is just, all that is holy. He is the epitome of an antipope in every way imaginable, not that his five immediate predecessors in the current line of antipopes were not figures of Antichrist in their own individual ways. Bergoglio does not reverence the position he thinks he holds because he does not reverence the Holy Faith and delights in reaffirming irreverent dissenters such as Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., and Nancy Patricia D’Alesandro Pelosi (see Jorge's Expendables, Not Exactly from the Excommunication Scene in Becket, Jorge "Claps Back" at Salvatore Cordileone and Stands Up for Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro Pelosi, and   Georgie "The Chin" Bergoglio Strikes Again on Behalf of the Pro-Aborts) while entrusting the likes of Blase Cupich, Joseph Tobin, James Martin, and Victor Emanuel Fernandez to advise him theologically and pastorally.

Do not be concerned about who sees the truth about the state of the Church Militant in this time of apostasy and betrayal. Family members may not see the truth. Former friends and acquaintances may not see the truth. We cannot ask why such people insist that the counterfeit church of conciliarism is the Catholic Church when it is in fact Antichrist’s Church of Lies and Sin. We must simply be grateful to Our Lady for sending us the graces that we need to see the true state of the Church Militant. We must beseech her daily, especially through Most Holy Rosary, entrusting all the crosses of the present moment as the consecrated slaves of her Divine Son, Christ the King, through her own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, which will triumph in the end.

Seeing the truth does not make us one whit better than anyone else who does not. It is more than possible to see the truth and to lose one’s soul by being arrogantly self-righteous about having done so. We must be meek and humble of heart if we seek to take refuge in the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary and to pray her Most Holy Rosary assiduously every day. 

We must rely upon Our Lady to help us to be ready for the call from her Divine Son whenever it comes, and we must rely upon the graces she sends to us to persevere in the truth no matter what it may cost us in human terms as we continue to pray for the restoration of a true pope on the Throne of Saint Peter and an end to the nefarious religious sect that dares to call itself the Catholic Church.

Father Francis X. Weninger, S.J., on the Nature of the Papacy and Papal Infallibility

The writing of the late Monsignor Joseph Clifford Fenton about the necessity of assenting to everything that a pope causes to be inserted into his Acta Apostolicae Sedis was cited earlier in this commentary.

For purposes of this commentary, however, I would like to once again call upon the writing of Father Francis X. Weninger, S.J., a legendary giant of a German missionary to the United States of America in the Nineteenth Century who preached throughout the Midwest and who wrote many books in defense of the Holy Faith, including one entitled Protestantism and Infidelity.

Father Weninger wrote a book entitled On The Apostolical and Infallible Authority of the Pope When Teaching the Faithful, and On His Relation to a General Council after the doctrine of Papal Infallibility had been solemnly proclaimed by Pope Pius IX and the Fathers of the [First] Vatican Council that document how the doctrine was always believed and taught prior to its proclamation while also explaining the meaning of the doctrine in that no one can dissent from any teaching on a true pope on Faith and Morals even when not solemnly defined:
