Nothing to Fear from Mohammedan Migrants, Leo?
Often, fear of Muslims in the West is "generated by people who are against immigration and are trying to keep out people who may be from another country, another religion, another race," he said. "In that sense, I would say that we all need to work together." (Prevost tells reporters dialogue is always the answer to tense situations.)
Islamophobia, Leo?
The Jerusalem Post reported that Akram is a Muslim man of Pakistani origin and had studied at Central Queensland University in Sydney. He was also previously associated with Hamdard University in Islamabad and the Al Murad Institute. Australian authorities have identified one of the gunmen involved in the deadly Bondi Beach shooting as Naveed Akram, a 24-year-old man of Pakistani origin, Australian media reported on Monday. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), citing a law enforcement source, said the gunman was identified as Naveed Akram, a resident of Sydney’s south-western suburb of Bonnyrigg. Police raided his home on Sunday evening as part of the investigation. According to the Daily Mail, Akram’s family has owned the Bonnyrigg property for about a year. However, there are unverified claims on Twitter that Akram is a former topper of Pak Army Public School. Moneycontrol could not independently verify the claims. The Jerusalem Post reported that Akram is a Muslim man of Pakistani origin and had studied at Central Queensland University in Sydney. He was also previously associated with Hamdard University in Islamabad and the Al Murad Institute. (Who is Naveed Akram? 24-year-old Pakistani-Origin Man Identified in Bondi Beach Shooting.)
Naveed Akram, 24, who allegedly opened fire on thousands of Jews celebrating Hanukkah, was tagged in a February 2022 social media post praising him for mastering “all the rules of tajweed” — the recitation of laws of the Quran — at the Al-Murad Institute outside Sydney.
“Another one of my dear students, Naveed Akram, passing the Iqra books and tajweed this morning, perfecting his all the rules of tajweed,” Adam Ismail, head of the institute, said in the since-deleted Facebook post.
The post showed the pair smiling at the camera in what appeared to be a library, as Akram proudly held up his certificate.
The ABC reported that the Australian Security Intelligence Organization (ASIO) — the country’s FBI — previously investigated Akram in 2019 for possible terror ties.
ASIO also believed that Akram and his father Sajid, 50, pledged allegiance to ISIS before the attack, and found terrorism investigators found an ISIS flag in their vehicle, the public broadcaster reported, citing sources.
Al-Murad Institute has since wiped its website and social media accounts.
Ismail said he lost contact with his former student in early 2022 and now claims the deadly shooting has triggered death treats, forcing him and his family to flee their home, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
“I am devastated by the images of the victims in Bondi,” he told the newspaper.
While running and teaching at the Al-Murad Institute, Ismail also serves as a mentor at 5 Before 5 Solutions, an Australian-based organization that provides counseling and Islamic youth development programs, according to its website.
He works in the Youth Refuge and Rehabilitation sector, his profiles says, with individuals “both young and old” experiencing trauma, mental health issues and homelessness.
5 Before 5 Solutions and Ismail could not immediately be reached for comment.
Sunday night’s attack erupted as about 1,000 people had gathered at the Chanukah by the Sea event on the famed Sydney beach.
Akram and a 50-year-old accomplice, believed to be his father, stormed the beach armed with what appeared to be shotguns and a bolt-action rifle, killing at least 15 people ranging in age from 10 to 87 years old, most of whom are believed to be Jewish, and injuring another 40 in the horrific attack.
Screams could be heard between loud gunshots, which continued for 10 terrifying minutes before a local fruit seller — 43-year-old Ahmed Al-Ahemd — snuck up on Akram and tackled him to the ground.
The other attacker was killed at the scene during a shootout with police, while Akram is in the hospital after being critically wounded by cops.
The rampage is the deadliest mass shooting in Australia since the 1996 Port Arthur attack. (Bondi Beach terror Naveed Akram suspect studied at a Sydney Islamic center. This is the first “mainstream” story identifying the Akrams as Mohammedan.)
The conciliar Secretary of State, Pietro Parolin, will probably say that Naveed Akram and his late Sajid, were not inspired by their Mohammedan religion to open fire on Bondi Beach in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on Sunday, December 14, 2025, the Third Sunday of Advent, killing at least fifteen people and injuring a number of others, most of whom are Jewish who were celebrating the false holiday of Hannukah, just as he keeps saying that the genocide being conducted against Catholics by Mohammedans in Nigeria has nothing to do with Mohammedanism. The fact that Sajid and Naveed Akram had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) would mean nothing to Robert Franics Prevost/Leo XIV or the man who thought he would be but never will be the “pope,” Pietro The Red Parolin, the Vatican’s own appeaser in the mode of James Earl Carter, Jr. (The Great Appeaser Has Died). or, if it did matter to them, would mean nothing more than a “perversion” of the “religion of peace” and not absolute orthodox adherence to what Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI once said was that “dear book,” the Koran.
Both Robert Francis Prevost and Pietro Parolin live in their own dream world, a veritable alternative universe where those complaining about the Mohammedan invasion of Western countries are the problem, not the Mohammedans who want their own laws and are not the least bit interested in assimilating as citizens of their new countries. Mohammedans today want to do what the Mohammedans of the past tried to accomplish but failed at the Battle of Tours, the Battle of Lepanto, and the Battle of Vienna, namely, to control Europe and make it bow down to the crescent, not the Holy Cross of the Divine Redeemer, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
However, Prevost and Parolin are far from alone in their fear of offending those who profess a false, blasphemous religion that denies the Most Holy Trinity and, of course, the Sacred Divinity of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The French, however, are at least implicitly admitting the problem of Mohammedan violence in France by cancelling the annual New Year’s Eve open air concert gathering along the Champs-Elysees in Paris:
The normally proud and defiant French are waving the white flag in the face of migrant terror.
Paris has shockingly decided to dim the lights on its annual New Year’s Eve fête along the iconic Champs-Élysées.
The massive midnight concert that drew a jubilant crowd of a million people last year — with the festivities having drawn throngs to the “most beautiful avenue in the world” for six decades — has been scrapped and replaced by a pre-recorded video to be viewed in the safety and comfort of French living rooms.
The fireworks will still illuminate the Arc de Triomphe when the clock strikes 12, but with officials urging revelers to watch on television rather than in person, the soirée will be a far cry from the famed French joie de vivre of years past.
The famed avenue has become a flashpoint of violence lately, with throngs of young, mostly Muslim migrants streaming in from Paris’ infamous suburbs at night looking for trouble, looting lux stores, and brawling with Parisians and police.
The Paris police, which pressed the mayor to scrap the concert, cited security concerns such as “unpredictable crowd movements” without going into details – but critics loudly blamed France’s open-door immigration policies.
“It’s obvious that this is the result of massive unvetted Muslim immigration into Europe,” said Daniel Di Martino, an immigration fellow at the Manhattan Institute.
“Western Europe has had a terrorism problem for many years now, and that has been exacerbated because of unvetted Islamic immigration as a result of the refugee crisis of over a decade ago.”
Even open-air Christmas markets are being treated as high-risk targets by France’s interior minister.
In an urgent letter to state officials, he warned of a “very high terror threat” – citing groups like al-Qaeda and ISIS – and ordered beefed up police presence at Christmas markets, and to restrict vehicle access and mobilize intelligence agencies.
“Christmas markets are popular and symbolic gathering places that are likely to be targeted by violent or politically motivated attacks,” said Laurent Nuñez.
Nuñez cited the 2018 Strasbourg Christmas market attack, where 29-year-old Cherif Chekatt, a French Moroccan “gangster-jihadist,” opened fire as he yelled “Allah Akbar,” killing five people and wounding 11. Police shot him down after a two-day manhunt.
According to the minister, six terrorist plots have been thwarted to date in 2025 in France.
“When you read the propaganda of terrorist groups, Christmas markets are targets as are law enforcement officers, as are places of worship of the Jewish community, as are a number of public institutions,” he said on French television.
“Unfortunately, in France, there is such a turn toward savagery that everything becomes a pretext for violence,” said politician Bruno Retailleau, head of Les Républicains and former interior minister, slamming the scrapped New Year’s Eve plans as capitulation.
But violence has been increasing in the City of Lights.
“Last year, we had more scares in two hours of New Year’s Eve celebrations on the Champs-Élysées than in three weeks of the Olympic Games,” a police commissioner told France Info.
That Dec. 31, nearly 984 cars were torched and 420 people arrested in what police called “senseless and endemic violence.”
“These acts of violence are the product of a descent into savagery,” the interior minister said at the time, denouncing what he called “cowards and thugs who attack the property of often modest French citizens.”
Last month, Le Monde reported that France is dealing with a new generation of younger, less experienced and more unpredictable jihadists.
The six thwarted attacks this year were plotted by terrorists who were between 17 and 22.
“Europe simply welcomed millions of people who were Muslim, who were not highly educated, and who bought into terrorist ideology and are willing to commit terrorist acts and have a culture that is incompatible with Christianity,” Di Martino said. “And some of them actually hate Christianity, and that’s why they target Christmas markets.
“They’re much less educated. They’re much more Islamic. The children of those immigrants are not integrated into the rest of society. They’re still living in ethnic enclaves there. They don’t have high employment rates. They’re actually much more likely to be out of a job. So, they’re much poorer.” (Paris cancels open air concert at Champs-Élysées over security threats.)
Yet it is, of course, that Robert Francis Prevost/Leo XIV says that fear of Mohammedan migrants is based on ignorance and perhaps xenophobia even though he did not say so explicitly.
Unlike France, however, the fear of offending Mohammedans in Australia and most other parts of the Western world is so bad that the heroic man, Ahmed al Ahmed, who disarmed Naveed Akram, was identified as a Mohammedan even though it turns out that he is actually a Maronite Christian according to his family. So desperate are the media to find Mohammedan heroes, and surely there are some, of course, that they were quick to identify a man with an Arabic name as a Mohammedan without even considering for a moment that he could be a Christian, a man who simply did his duty while, according to an eyewitness, the police “froze”
for twenty minutes as the shooters went about their diabolical business:
One of the survivors of the terror attack at a Bondi Beach Hanukkah celebration said four police officers just “froze” during the 20-minute rampage on Sunday that killed 11.
Eyewitness Shmulik Scuri said he was with his family when the two suspects began firing at the crowd of worshippers from a nearby bridge.
“For 20 minutes. They shoot, shoot. Change magazines. And just shoot,” the witness told reporters.
When he was asked who the gunmen were targeting, he responded, “Everyone. Jews. Men, old, kids, everyone! It doesn’t matter.”
Scuri noted that one of the gunmen from the top of the bridge was freely reloading a rifle and handgun as he was firing at the crowd uninterrupted.
Footage shows the two terrorists, at least one of whom had a shotgun, firing round after round from a bridge overlooking the family-friendly Chanukah by the Sea 2025 event.
It wasn’t until a local good Samaritan, a local fruit seller, disarmed one of the terrorists that police appeared to return fire, taking out one of the shooters, video shows.
Among the dead are a 12-year-old and British-born Rabbi Eli Schlanger, 41.
One of the suspected gunmen was killed at the scene while the other was taken into custody in critical condition, officials said. (Bondi Beach terror survivor describes how cops 'froze' during 20-minute shooting rampage.)
One Australian official urged the public not to disparage or criticize the police response, but twenty minutes is an awfully long time to respond to a mass shooting when police are already on the scene. This moral paralysis is par for the course in Australia, where the police enforced some of the draconian, Stasi-like lockdown restrictions in the world during the plandemic in 2020 and 2021 and penalized the unvaccinated with mandatory home quarantines (see COVID Policies Trigger ‘Descent Into Tyranny’ in Australia, Policy Expert Warns ‘It Can Happen Anywhere’). Yes, the police were very vigilant to “protect” from a virus that, when treated with early intervention in the cases of patients without preexisting comorbidities, was mostly non-deadly but could waited for twenty full minutes to respond to a mass shooting.
As diabolically horrific as the Bondi Beach shootings were, though, as we pray for the recovery and for the conversion of the wounded to the true Faith, the same forces from hell that inspired Sajid and Neveed Akram to conduct their deadly rampage is being used by the mass murdering Prime Minister of Israel, Benajmin Netanyahu, to urge a worldwide clampdown on expressions of what he terms to be “antisemitism,” meaning any criticism of the actions of the Israeli government and support for a Palestinian State:
In a further statement, Netanyahu criticised the Australian government, saying “history will not forgive hesitation and weakness” and will “honour action and strength”.
“That’s what Israel expects of each of your governments in the West and elsewhere. Because the disease spreads, and it will consume you as well,” he said.
“But we are worrying right now about our people, our safety, and we do not remain silent. We fight those who try to annihilate us.” (Bondi Beach shooting: Benjamin Netanyahu slams Anthony Albanese over spread of antisemitism in Australia.)
We live in truly Orwellian times as the amoral Benjamin Netanyahu, who oversaw a genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza that included the indiscriminate destruction of Gaza City and the targeting of Latin Rite Catholic and Orthodox churches and shrines, uses the tragic killings of mostly Jewish people by faithful Mohammedans in Australia as an opportunity to urge Western governments to censor all criticism of Israel and, I would suppose as well, of Judaism as a dead, superseded religion that belongs to the kingdom of satan.
As I have noted so many times in the past, it is to hate no one to seek their conversion to the true Faith nor to criticism false religions as tools of the adversary as it is the duty of all baptized and confirmed Catholics to pray and work for the conversion of all non-Catholics to the true Church, outside of which there is no salvation and without which there can be no true social order, and it is our duty on the merely natural level to denounce injustice and genocide for what it is without wishing harm to a single innocent non-Catholic, whether Jew, Mohammedan, Buddhist, Hindu, Protestant or anyone else, at any time for any reason.
The State of Israel is deadly serious about demanding censorship, especially here in the United States of America, of all criticism of Israel, which is why President Donald John Trump has appointed his own speech czar, Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, to suppress “antisemitism” in social media:
Across the American political spectrum, support for the State of Israel is steadily eroding. With the long-running, staggeringly expensive redistribution of American wealth and weapons to one of the world’s most prosperous countries under unprecedented threat, Israel’s advocates inside the United States are growing increasingly desperate to suppress the facts, opinions, questions and imagery that are causing this sea change.
Pro-Israel forces have long worked to limit and shape US discourse to Israel’s advantage. However, the intensity and novelty of what’s taking place in 2025 — from the government-coerced transfer of a social media platform to pro-Israel billionaires, to the jailing and attempted deportation of a student for writing an opinion piece, and more — deserves the attention of every American who values free expression, an enlightened electorate, and independence from foreign influence.
Many Americans know that Congress and President Biden teamed up in 2024 to force the Chinese company ByteDance to divest its US operation of the popular video-sharing app TikTok, yet few realize this unusual intervention was motivated in large part by a desire to serve the interests of Israel.
Though politicians pointed to the supposed Chinese menace lurking inside the app — while revealing their lack of sincerity by continuing to use it themselves — the catalyst for the extraordinary legislation’s passage was a sea of viral content illuminating Israel’s rampage in Gaza, casting Palestinians in empathetic light, and questioning the legitimacy of the political philosophy that is Zionism.
The idea that passage of the ban was largely about Israel is no conspiracy theory. American politicians who supported the compelled divestiture of TikTok have candidly said so themselves. Sharing a stage with Biden Secretary of State Antony Blinken in 2024, then-Senator Mitt Romney said:
“Some wonder why there was such overwhelming support for us to shut down, potentially, TikTok or other entities of that nature. You look at the postings on TikTok and the number of mentions of Palestinians relative to other social media sites — it’s overwhelmingly so among TikTok broadcasts, so I’d note that’s of real interest to the president, who will get the chance to take action in that regard.”
Similarly, Rep. Mike Lawler of New York told a webinar that pro-Palestinian student protests were “exactly why we included the TikTok bill…because you’re seeing how these kids are being manipulated by certain groups or entities or countries to foment hate on their behalf and really create a hostile environment here in the US.”
Of course, mere divestiture wouldn’t guarantee that TikTok would start suppressing anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian content in the United States. To have the desired effect, the buyer — who required White House approval — would have to be an ardent supporter of Israel. That’s just how things played out. In September, President Trump approved the sale of TikTok’s US operations to a joint venture led by Larry Ellison, the founder of tech-titan Oracle and the fourth-richest man in the world.
Ellison has expressed his “deep emotional connection to the State of Israel” and has been a major benefactor of the Israeli Defense Forces, via donations to IDF-supporting organizations. He spent at least $3 million on Marco Rubio’s failed 2016 presidential campaign, after being assured by Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations that Rubio would “be a great friend to Israel.” There are other Israel-favoring billionaires in the consortium now controlling TikTok’s American presence, among them NewsCorp head Rupert Murdoch and investment trader Jeff Yass.
Americans were propagandized into fearing Chinese control of TikTok users’ data. Now that data will be controlled by Oracle, a firm whose founder has described Israel as his own nation, said “there is no greater honor” than supporting the IDF, and invited Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to take a seat on the board. It’s also a firm with strong business ties to the Israel government, and a firm whose Israel-born executive vice chair and former CEO last year declared, “For [Oracle] employees, it’s clear: If you’re not for America or Israel, don’t work here.”
A few months before the TikTok divestiture was finalized, the company installed former IDF soldier and self-described “passionate” Zionist Erica Mindel as TikTok’s hate speech manager in July. Weeks later, and just days before the transfer of TikTok’s US operation was approved, the platform posted new guidelines on Sept 13 about what’s allowed on the platform.
Soon after the change, users and content creators began sharing examples of content being deleted by TikTok, with the platform exploiting its vague new rules about “conspiracy theories” and “protected groups” to reject negative content about Israel — wielding the threat of demonetization of repeat offenders. In a recent appearance on the Breaking Points podcast, Guy Christensen, who has 3.4 million TikTok followers, shared his experience:
“What all these videos have in common that have been removed since Sept 13 are that I am talking about Israel, I’m talking about AIPAC’s influence, I’m talking about Larry Ellison and the attempt to put TikTok under Zionist control — I’m criticizing Israel in some way. It’s the same thing I’ve heard from my audience, my friends who are creators. Ever since Sept 13, they’ve had the same exact experience. Videos that are more informational and critical of Israel get removed.”
In a late-September meeting with pro-Israel social media “influencers,” Netanyahu hailed the transfer of TikTok’s US ownership. “We have to fight with the weapons that apply to the battlefield with which we’re engaged, and the most important ones are in social media. And the most important purchase that is going on right now is TikTok. Number one.” Expressing hope that, by “talking” with Elon Musk, his X platform could be reshaped to be more Israel-protective too, Netanyahu added, “If we can get those two things, we can get a lot.”
Ellison’s TikTok takeover is troubling enough, but that wasn’t his only media move this year. He also financed his son David’s takeover of Paramount Skydance, the media company that controls many movie and television properties, including CBS. David Ellison quickly installed as head of CBS News Bari Weiss — a self-described “Zionist fanatic” who took a gap year before college to live on an Israeli kibbutz.
Weiss’s history of wrangling over the bounds of acceptable speech vis-a-vis Israel goes back to her sophomore year at Columbia University, when she was part of a group of students who claimed they were subjected to intimidation by Middle East Studies professors over the students’ Zionist views. A university panel found only one of the supposed incidents represented unacceptable conduct.
Both outside observers and network insiders are braced for Weiss to nudge the outlet’s reporting to Israel’s benefit, and there are early indications validating worries about her bias. Citing executive sources inside CBS, the Wall Street Journal reported that foreign correspondent Chris Livesay, who was set to be laid off as part of a downsizing move that preceded Weiss’s arrival, sent Weiss an email expressing his affinity for Israel and claiming he was “bullied” for his beliefs. Weiss intervened and saved Livesay from the layoff. Other correspondents told the Journal that Livesay’s claim about bullying was bogus.
Compounding the expectations that CBS News is about to become a de facto Israel PR outlet, the network’s new ombudsman — the arbiter of editorial concerns — also has strong Zionist credentials. The New York Times describes Kenneth Weinstein as a “firm and vocal champion of Israel.” On X, Grayzone editor-in-chief Max Blumenthal noted that, “during a 2021…event with Mike Pence, Weinstein touted his Israel lobbyist creds, describing how he’d been groomed by the Tikvah Fund, the Likudnik training network which will award Bari Weiss its Herzl Award this November.” (The Likud Party is the Israeli party led by Netanyahu.)
Summing up the TikTok and CBS moves, Glenn Greenwald wrote, “The minute the American public starts turning against Israel and the US financing of that country, the world’s richest and most fanatical pro-Israel billionaires start buying up large media outlets and TikTok, then install Bari Weiss and an ex-IDF soldier to control content.”
The transfer of TikTok into Israel-friendly hands isn’t the only example of intensified US government intervention in America’s public square on behalf of the tiny Middle Eastern country.
Much of the Trump administration’s war against anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian speech has focused on college campuses. In the most alarming such move in 2025, the Trump administration has arrested, jailed and attempted to deport foreign students for merely voicing their support for Palestinians or opposition to the Israeli government.
The most atrocious example — which Stark Realities examined in depth earlier this year — centers on a 30-year-old, Turkish Tufts University PhD candidate who was arrested on a Boston street and whisked away to a dismal Louisiana prison, just for co-authoring a calmly-written Tufts Daily op-ed urging the university to formally characterize Israel’s conduct in Gaza as genocide, and to sell the school’s Israel-associated investments.
This cruelly despotic tactic is the brainchild of the Heritage Foundation. In a policy paper, the think tank urged pro-Israel groups and the US government to characterize pro-Palestinian activists as “effectively members of a terrorist support network,” and then use that characterization to target activists for deportations, expulsions from colleges, lawsuits, terminations by employers, and exclusion from “open society.” (Pro-Israel Forces Intensify Effort To Control American Discourse.)
Yehuda Kaploun, Trump's Israeli-born Chabadnik nominee for US Anti-Semitism Czar, told Jewish Insider this week that he plans to work with social media platforms on their algorithms to suppress "hatred," and have them label "misinformation" using so-called "AI."
From Jewish Insider, "Antisemitism envoy nominee Yehuda Kaploun backs labeling misinformation on social media":
Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, President Donald Trump’s nominee to serve as U.S. antisemitism special envoy, warned in an interview with Jewish Insider that inaccurate, inflammatory content is being allowed to spread on social media, and pledged to work with social networks to curb the spread of antisemitic falsehoods online.
“The ideal outcome is, I want to continue America’s tradition of free speech and allowing free speech anywhere and everywhere, freedom of expression,” Kaploun said. “But I would like the platforms — because of the advent of AI and those technologies, you have the ability to recognize when something is not factually correct and it should be labeled as such. I think that’s something that we’d like to target.”
"AI" chatbots don't "know" anything, but thanks for letting us know you don't either.
Kaploun spoke to JI on Wednesday, with his Senate confirmation vote for the State Department role expected this month before the holiday recess. His comments about working with social media platforms to label misinformation contradict the approach of the Trump administration, which has urged the major platforms not to “censor” information. Earlier this year, after Trump took office, Meta announced the end of its fact-checking program, and YouTube eased many of its content moderation policies.
“There’s many other areas of working with the companies — the algorithms and things that have been now proven, that bots are busy promoting antisemitic rhetoric on the internet, how we get to some of that and preventing some of that. These are very tall tasks. These are not things that occur overnight,” said Kaploun, a Chabad-trained rabbi and businessman from Miami. “But I truly believe there is a true willingness of many people within the administration to tackle these problems and confront them head on, globally.”
That sounds like a global censorship regime to prevent "anti-Semitic rhetoric."
As an example of the kind of content he would seek to flag as false, Kaploun referred to a July New York Times article about the hunger that many civilians in Gaza were experiencing during Israel’s war against Hamas. The Times published a correction regarding the article several days after it was published, once it was revealed that a child who was featured prominently in the article as an example of malnutrition had preexisting health conditions.
The misrepresentation in the photo could contribute to antisemitism, according to Kaploun, who suggested that the article had been viewed hundreds of times more than the correction.
“I’m not exactly 100% sure of the actual number, but in that realm, a total disbalance and disproportionate view of people saw something that could be creating antisemitic behavior,” said Kaploun. “All those people that saw it have incorrect information.”
The report was not "false," it lacked context.
The context, that Israel is starving to death and/or denying medical aid to the sickly and infirm, actually makes the story worse.
[Kaploun] declined to say whether he believes social networks should have removed posts that included that article.
“I’m not going to get into the specifics or the semantics of what that’s going to look like. We are going to work collectively and together with these companies and try and come up with productive solutions that will lower the disinformation and lower the hatred,” Kaploun said. “That’s what I’d like to work with these social media platforms to do a better job with, recognizing that and making sure that we can do a better job of getting accurate facts out.”
This is what Kaploun views as "accurate facts":
Discussing strategy, Kaploun laid out a vision for his tenure as special envoy to monitor and combat antisemitism, stating that his first priority would be to fight antisemitism with “pro-Semitism” — teaching about Jewish history and culture, and convincing countries and groups that are experiencing antisemitism that Jews are productive members of society and contribute a great deal to the countries in which they live.
“What I mean by pro-Semitism is to explain to countries the benefits of what it is the Jewish nation provides, and our historical perspective of what the Jewish communities have always done for communities, in terms of growth in countries,” said Kaploun. “The countries that have literally attacked the Jews and expelled the Jews don’t always have success, and there’s a reason for that. And when countries are welcoming and when Jews are in countries, usually the benefits far exceed any type of whatever detriments [there] are. There really aren’t detriments.”
Rabbi Kaploun said during his hearing last month that criticism of Israel must abide by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's ever-evolving definition of "anti-Semitism."
"You have a right to criticize a country, but if you are only going to criticize Israel—and that's every statement that you're making—but you're not going to be consistent across the board, in the IHRA definition it's very, very clear that you need to condemn everything across the board and not just single out Israel," Kaploun told Sen. Chris Van Hollen.
aploun "initially got connected to Trump through Miriam and Sheldon Adelson," according to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
As a reminder, Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said earlier this year that they're working with the Trump administration to implement the Biden administration and the ADL's U.S. National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism. (Trump's Israeli-Born Pick for U.S. Anti-Semitism Czar Plans to Work With Social Media to Suppress 'Hatred'.)
The adversary never misses an opportunity to turn one evil act committed by members of one of his false religions as the pretext for members of another false religion to claim that opposition to its policies must be suppressed.
There is no naturalistic, secularistic, interdenominational, nondenominational, political, or constitutional way to get out of this mess, as the path to doing so runs exclusively through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, who is our Immaculate Queen of Heaven and Earth.
Writing in his reflection for the Octave of the Immaculate Conception, which is celebrated today, Monday, December 15, 2025, Dom Prosper Gueranger quoted Saint Leonard of Port Maurice, who had said that there would a long period of peace once the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary was defined solemnly:
This, the eighth day from that on which we kept the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, is the Octave properly so called; whereas the other days were simply called days within the Octave. The custom of keeping up the principal Feasts for a whole week is one of those which the Christian Church adopted from the Synagogue. God had thus spoken in the Book of Leviticus: “The first day shall be called most solemn and most holy: you shall do no servile work therein … The eighth day also shall be most solemn and most holy, and you shall offer holocausts to the Lord, for it is the day of assembly and congregation: you shall do no servile work therein.” (Leviticus 25:35-36) We also read in the Book of Kings that Solomon, having called all Israel to Jerusalem for the dedication of the Temple, suffered not the temple to return home until the eighth day. (1 Kings 8:65-66)
We learn from the Books of the New Testament that this customer was observed in our Savior’s time, and we find him authorizing, by his own example, this solemnity of the Octave. Thus, we read in Saint John that Jesus once took part in one of the Jewish Festivals about the midst of the Feast; and the same Evangelist relating how our Lord cried out to the people: If any man thirst, let him come to me, and drink: observes that it was on the last and great day of the festivity. (John 7:37)
In the Christian Church, there are two kinds of Octaves: Privileged Octaves and Non-privileged Octaves. The first are so solemn that no feast of a Saint, occurring during them, can be kept, but must be transferred to some other time out of the Octave. Neither, during these Octaves, can a Mass De Requiem be said unless the corpse be present for burial. Non-privileged Octaves admit the Feasts of Saints, which occur during them, provided they are semi-doubles or of higher class; but a commemoration of the Octave must be made both in the Office and the Mass of the Feast, which thus takes precedence of the Octave, unless this Feast be itself one of a first or second Class.
The Octave of the Immaculate Conception, the first that occurs in the Liturgical Year, is not privileged. It gives place not only to the Sunday, but also to the feasts of St. Damasus and St. Lucy, and to the various local feasts which are of a double or semi-double rite.
Let us once more devoutly reverence the Mystery of Mary’s Immaculate Conception: our Emmanuel loves to see his Mother honored. After all, is it not for him and for his sake that this Bright Star was prepared from all eternity, and created when the happy time fixed by the divine decree came? When we honor the Immaculate Conception of Mary, it is really to the divine Mystery of the Incarnation that we are paying our just homage. Jesus and Mary cannot be separated, for Isaias tell us that She is the Branch, and He the Flower. (Isaiah 11:1)
We give thee thanks, O Jesus our Emmanuel because thou hast granted us to live during the time that the privilege of thy Blessed Mother was proclaimed on this earth; the glorious privilege wherewith thou didst enrich the first instant of the life of the happy creature from whom thou didst take upon thyself our human nature! This Definition of thy Church has given us a clearer knowledge of thine infinite holiness. It has taught us to see more distinctly the harmony there is in all thy divine mysteries. But it also has impressed upon us the great truth that we ourselves, being destined to the most intimate union with thee here, and to the face-to-face vision of thy infinite Majesty hereafter, must labor without ceasing to purify ourselves from the smallest stains of sin. Thou hast said: Blessed are the clean of heart for they shall see God; (Matthew 5:8) and thou showest us, by the dogma of thy Blessed Mother’s Immaculate Conception, what is the purity which thy sovereign sanctity demands of us. Ah! by the love which led thee to preserve her from every stain of sin, have mercy on us who are her devoted children. Thou art so soon to be among us! Before many days are past, we shall have yielded to thy invitations, and have presumed to approach thy sacred Crib. We are not yet ready, dear Jesus! The effects of original sin are still so plainly upon us, and , what is worse, there are so many of our own sins, which we have added to this of our first parent: Oh! prepare our hearts and our senses, for we will not approach to Bethlehem unworthily. The sinless purity of thy Mother is not for us; we ask not for that; but we ask for forgiveness of our countless sins, for conversion, for hatred of the world and the world’s maxims, and for perseverance in thy holy love.
O Mary! created Mirror of divine Justice, and purer than the Cherubim and Seraphim, in return for the homage paid thee by this our generation, on that blissful day when the glory of thy Immaculate Conception was proclaimed throughout the world, give us that abundant richness of thy protecting love, which thou didst reserve till now. The world is shaken to its very foundations: thy hand can help it to rest again. Hell has let loose upon mankind the most terrible of its spirits of wickedness, who breathe but blasphemy and destruction; but at the same time, the Church of thy Jesus feels that her youth has been renewed within her, and that the seed of the divine word is broadcast and healthy in a thousand fresh portions of the earth. Never was the battle more fierce on both sides: so that we need all our hope to make us feel that hell will not prevail. Is this the great struggle which is to be followed by the day of judgment?
O Blessed Mother of Jesus! O Queen of the universe! can it be that the Star of thy Immaculate Conception has shone in the heavens only to light up the ruin and wreck of this earth? The sign foretold by the Beloved Disciple St. John (Revelation 12:1) of the woman that appeared in the heavens clad with the Sun, bearing on her head a crown of twelve stars, and crushing the Crescent beneath her feet—has it not more brightness and power than that other, which appeared in the heavens telling men that God’s anger was appeased, and that the deluge was over? The light which shines upon us is from a Mother. It is our Mother that comes to console and heal us is from a Mother. It is our Mother that comes to console and heal us. It is heaven that smiles upon poor guilty earth. We have deserved the chastisement we have received, and more than we have received: but the anger of God will give way, and he will spare us.
The graces which God poured out upon the world on that great Day of the Church’s Definition of Mary’s Immaculate Conception were not to be without their effect; a new period then commenced. Mary, on whom heresy had heaped its blasphemies for three hundred years, will again reign in the love of those whom her Son redeemed; countries will abandon those errors which have made them slaves and dupes of men’s doctrines; the old serpent will again writhe under that crushing pressure which God set up from the beginning; and the divine Sun of Justice will pour out on the regenerated world the floods of a light, more than ever dazzling and resplendent. We may not live to see that time; but we have signs of its near approach.
It was two centuries ago that thy devout servant whom the Church has placed upon her altars, Leonard of Porto-Manrizio, predicted that when this dogma of thy Immaculate Conception should be defined, the world would enjoy a long period of peace. The troubles of the present time in which we are living are, we doubt not, a prelude to that happy peace, during which the divine word will traverse the whole world unimpeded, and the Church militant will reap her harvest for the Church in heaven. Sweet Mother of our Jesus! the world was also in agitation in those times which preceded the Birth of thy divine Son; but peace reigned throughout the whole earth when thou didst give it its Savior in Bethlehem. Until that grand time come when thou wilt show to the world the magnificence of the power which God has given to thee, assist us, each year, to prepare for the glorious solemnity of Christ: oh! pray for us, that we may be cleansed from all our sins when that splendid Night comes, during which will be born of thee Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Light eternal. (Dom Prosper Gueranger, O.S.B., The Liturgical Year, Octave of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, December 15.)
Even though that period of peace has not occurred and will not occur until a true pope faithfully consecrates Russia collegially with all of the world’s true bishops to her Immaculate Heart in fulfillment of Our Lady’s Fatima Message, no earthly tragedy must ever rob us of the joys of being Catholics in general and, in particular in ten days hence, of the joys of the Nativity of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the Light Who has shone through the darkness and made it possible for us fallen men to have eternal life by His Easter Victory on the wood of the Holy Cross, a victory in which His Most Blessed Mother participated fully as our Co-Redemptrix, Mediatrix of All Graces, and Advocate.
