The Trojan Horse of an indecent, venal, corrupt moral reprobate who has served as a figurehead President of the United States of America in Name Only, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., is doing everything he can to reward others for the evils they have promoted in public life after he himself has spent a lifetime doing so, especially during the past four, interminably long years since his puppeteers took control of the White House.

Apart from commuting the Federal death sentences of all but three of the thirty-seven murderers, some of whose crimes are too grisly to detail here, the pro-abortion, pro-sodomite octogenarian statist who has retired to the private quarters of the White House at 4:00 p.m. most workdays after starting his work day six hours earlier, gave the Presidential Medal of Freedom Award to seventeen honorees on Saturday, January 4, 2025, the Octave of the Holy Innocents, including none other than Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton and George Soros, which was too much even for former South Carolina Governor and former United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley:

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley blasted President Joe Biden on Saturday for giving Democratic megadonor George Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor.

Haley called the move to give the award to Soros "another slap in the face of America" after Biden shockingly pardoned his son Hunter and commuted the death sentences of 37 federal inmates in the last two months of his time in office.

"Giving George Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom is another slap in the face of America after reducing the sentences of murderers and pardoning his son. 16 days is a long time until the Inauguration. What is he capable of sliding in next? January 20th can’t come soon enough," Haley said, referencing President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration.

Soros, 94, founded Open Society Foundations, which disburses over $1 billion to left-wing causes and organizations like the pro-defund-the-police movement and Black Lives Matter. It has also funneled money into anti-Israel groups, a hard drug decriminalization think tank, and progressive-left district attorneys, some of whom have lost reelection bids due to their soft-on-crime policies.

His son, Alex Soros, 39, who was at the White House to receive the award for his father, has succeeded him as chairman of the board of directors for the Open Society Foundations. Notably, he has shifted money in their Democracy PAC, the political arm of the family, away from criminal justice initiatives and groups to race-focused organizations.

George Soros, along with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, were among 19 politicians, athletes, artists, and humanitarians who received the prestigious award on Saturday.

In a statement from the White House announcing the recipients, Soros was described as "focused on global initiatives that strengthen democracy, human rights, education, and social justice."

Haley was not the only Republican to slam the move from Biden, with Sen. Tim Sheehy (R-MT), who unseated former Sen. Jon Tester in November, calling it a "national disgrace."

"George Soros spent millions electing soft-on-crime politicians that let criminals wreak havoc in our major cities," he added. (Haley slams Biden for giving George Soros Presidential Medal of Freedom.)

A professor at the University of Saint Thomas in Houston, Texas, explained that there were other honorees who were made to look “good” in comparison to the fact that Madame Defarge and the promoter of practically every evil known to man (surgical baby-killing, sodomy, palliative care/hospice/quality of life standards in “healthcare,” rioting and looting, cashless bail programs, etc.), George Soros:

But what’s disturbing are some of the American recipients. Bill Nye “The Science Guy” not only has rolled over for unscientific gender theory but also was one of the most annoying and unscientific scolds the Covid Panic brought us. Anna Wintour, the longtime editor of Vogue, is mostly famous for being tyrannical enough to have had a movie made about her tyranny (The Devil Wears Prada). The White House website lists her philanthropic work and credits her as the “architect” behind the Met Gala. Given the usual offenses against taste and civilization reported at that yearly event, it hardly seems to weigh in favor of a Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Jane Goodall has been lionized by many elites for her work with chimpanzees. But, like many of the elites, she is also for depopulation of the planet—to less than a billion. Her defenders always point out that she does not, like the Marvel movie villain Thanos, propose to do this from the top down, but to propose “voluntary” depopulation in our age is folly that deserves no award.

But the choices that are most grating are the directly political figures. Tech mogul and activist Tim Gill has funded the LGBTQ+ movement all along, including unseating politicians who have tried to limit men in women’s restrooms. He is also one of the movers and shakers who turned Colorado deep blue and helped create the problems many see there.

Jose Andrés, the Spanish-born naturalized American chef who founded the World Central Kitchen, is a particularly galling choice. World Central Kitchen, an aid organization, was discovered last month to have 62 employees connected to Islamic terrorist groups, including some who took part in Hamas’s infamous October 7 attacks. Weirdly, he has also taken pictures with would-be Trump assassin Ryan Routh. It’s likely he was awarded only because of his open hatred of Donald Trump and his announcement last month that he would challenge Freedom Caucus chair Andy Harris in the 2026 congressional election.

Hillary Clinton is, surprisingly, only the second worst choice on this list. True, she funded the Steele Dossier that helped get rolling the deep state persecution of Donald Trump. True, she violated the Federal Records Act by doing official business on her personal email server and got away with it. True, her role in the Benghazi attack was atrocious. And the reception of money by foreign governments during her time as Secretary of State was….

Ok, maybe she is the worst awardee.

Well, she would have been had the Biden Administration not decided to give George Soros this award. Soros, after all, is the man who funded “social justice” DA candidates across the country over the last decade, including Larry Krasner of Philadelphia, Alvin Bragg of New York, Kim Foxx (Chicago), George Gascon (Los Angeles), and Chesa Boudin (San Francisco). True, the last three on this list have all been removed, but the damage done has been incalculable in terms of life, property, and security. A 2023 report showed that 40% of homicides in America take place where Soros-funded prosecutors are in office.

So, too, we could talk about Soros’s advocacy for open borders (including philanthropic money helping illegal immigrants avoid deportation), his advocacy for Obama’s Iran deal, and his funneling of money to pro-Hamas groups. . This is not a man who has contributed to the “prosperity, values or security of the United States” or the world. He is openly against America’s position in the world and he has blood on his hands in this country.

He is, however, the Democratic Party’s biggest funder, practically funding the 2022 midterms himself. Republicans ought to make his award a major issue in the 2026 midterms.

My maternal grandmother used to say of many situations that you have to laugh or else all you would be able to do is cry. This is one of those situations. Thankfully, Americans have risen to the occasion. Federalist writer Rich Cromwell observed that we can savor the fact that, though Obama gave Joe Biden this award, there is no return of the favor. Senator Mike Lee joked that Biden’s next awardees would be Disney villains “Scar from the Lion King and Jafar from Aladdin.” Perhaps the best suggestions were from Vice President-elect J. D. Vance. “Looking forward,” he tweeted, “to Biden giving the Presidential Medal of Freedom (posthumously) to Pol Pot and Count Dracula.” It was that “posthumously” that delighted many readers.

Some might say that these awards are pointless exercises that are best discarded. Many of us are likely open to that position. They are yet another expense only slightly older than the Department of Education, the demise of which many devoutly desire. And if they are only opportunities for a laugh, who needs them?

But we might consider whether our problems in America don’t have a great deal to do with having honor rolls that do not reflect honor deserved. The problem is not a want of candidates but public recognition of truly outstanding individuals. From our education system that rewards mediocrity to our entertainment and journalism awards, our nation suffers from honor rolls that include people who are D performers at best. The outgoing numbskull from Delaware also honored at one man who is no hero at all despite what the author of the above commentary believes: Earvin “Magic” Johnson. My very first column in The Wanderer in October of 1992 (I forget the exact date) was entitled, “Magic, You’re No Hero,” which was in response to then Arkansas Governor William Jefferson Blythe’s calling Johnson a “hero” a year after Johnson acknowledged that he had contracted the human autoimmune virus following a “proud” lifetime of impurity that will not otherwise be discussed. No, Earvin “Magic” Johnson is undeserving of any award in this life as his role “model” as a serial and most unrepentant practitioner of impurity can never be undone by whatever acts of philanthropy he has performed as no one’s can be absolved except by a true Catholic priest in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance.

Now, as to the most pernicious honorees, suffice it for present purposes to note that, after over thirty-two years of writing, starting in the aforementioned Wanderer and continuing on with the printed pages of Christ or Chaos and this website, I am done documenting her amoral lack of ethics personally and her promotion of abject moral evils publicly. While it is certainly obscene for this pathological liar and chief conspirator in the Russian Collusion hoax to be given any kind of award, especially a “presidential of freedom,” one should expect no less than an obscene octogenarian who is more of a pathological liar that she is, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. I am done writing about Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton. One of the Greatest and Most Divisive Demagogues of Them All: Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton, published on this site four months ago, is the last time I will ever bother to waste my time repeating what should be well known by now.

Ah, but George Soros is deserving of some careful attention here as his billions of dollars have been spent infecting priests/presbyters, conciliar “charitable” organizations, population control organizations, educational institutions, cultural institutions, the systematic embedding of the pro-death “quality of life” standard in all forms of medical and nursing miseducation and then the actual administration and provision of healthcare, community “organizing” (riots/looting), elections (turn out the vote projects, mail-in ballots), and, very significantly, the funding of the political campaigns of pro-abortion, pro-perversity statists and globalists running for Federal offices and the funding of anti-law enforcement district attorneys throughout the United States of America, to say nothing of his support for open borders even after all the horrible crimes that have been committed by illegal immigrant gang members who know that cashless bail programs such as those that exist in Illinois and New York will get them back on the streets in no time if they happened to be apprehended for their crimes.

George Soros has been an insidious force for evil in the world since he was a young man by pretending to be a Christian, of all things, in Nazi-occupied Hungary as his fellow Jews were being rounded up by the National Socialists:

Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., have been in the vanguard of doing whatever George Soros and his son, Alexander Soros, have waned him to do, starting with the open borders policy that has claimed numerous victims of violent attacks by illegal immigrants:

Communities nationwide have been left on edge by illegal immigrants who have taken advantage of a lax southern border under the Biden-Harris administration and victimized innocent Americans.

Through the efforts of police and prosecutors, an example was set with the arrests or convictions of these migrants for their violent crimes in 2024.

1. Guatemalan immigrant accused of setting woman on fire in NYC subway

Sebastian Zapeta, a previously deported immigrant from Guatemala, was indicted on one count of first-degree murder, three counts of second-degree murder and one count of arson after a woman was lit on fire and burned to death on a subway train Dec. 22 in Brooklyn, New York.

Surveillance video showed the suspect, believed to be Zapeta, approaching the woman, who was sitting motionless and may have been sleeping aboard a stationary F train at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue subway station.

Then, she was set on fire.

"As the train pulled into the station, the suspect calmly walked up to the victim," New York Police Depar2tment Commissioner Jessica Tisch said during a press conference, adding the female victim was in a seated position. "The suspect used what we believe to be a lighter to ignite the victim’s clothing, which became fully engulfed in a matter of seconds."

Zapeta was apprehended by Border Patrol and deported by the Trump administration June 7, 2018, after he crossed illegally into Sonoita, Arizona, a week before that, Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesperson Jeff Carter told Fox News. Zapeta later reentered the U.S. illegally at an unknown date and location, Carter said.

2. Venezuelan migrant Jose Ibarra sentenced in Laken Riley's murder

In November, a Georgia judge convicted and sentenced Jose Ibarra, the suspect accused of murdering Augusta University student Laken Riley on the University of Georgia campus in February.

Athens-Clarke County Superior Court Judge Patrick Haggard found Ibarra guilty of 10 counts, including one count of malice murder, three counts of felony murder, one count of kidnapping, one count of aggravated assault with intent to rape, one count of aggravated battery, one count of hindering a 911 call, one count of tampering with evidence and one count of being a "peeping Tom."

Ibarra pleaded not guilty to all counts.

Prosecutors said Ibarra, a 26-year-old illegal immigrant from Venezuela, attacked and killed Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student, while she was jogging along trails near Lake Herrick on the University of Georgia campus in Athens the morning of Feb. 22.

3. Mexican citizen arrested for girlfriend's murder after removal from US

Brandon Ortiz-Vite, who was deported to his home country of Mexico in 2020, was arrested on murder charges in March for the killing of a Michigan woman after he allegedly reentered the United States illegally.

Ortiz-Vite, who is being held at the Kent County, Michigan, jail, faces charges of felony murder, open murder, carjacking, carrying a concealed weapon and felony use of a firearm after the body of 25-year-old Ruby Garcia was discovered on U.S. 131 in downtown Grand Rapids.

The pair had been in a romantic relationship at the time of the killing, police said.

Ortiz-Vite, 25, "was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Detroit on Aug. 31, 2020, and served a notice to appear. He was ordered removed by an immigration judge with the Justice Department’s Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) Sept. 24, 2020, and was removed to Mexico Sept. 29, 2020," a spokesperson for ICE told Fox News Digital.

"At an unknown date and location, Ortiz-Vite reentered the United States without inspection by an immigration official.

"On Mar. 24, 2024, ERO Detroit encountered Ortiz-Vite pursuant to him being arrested by the Michigan State Police and charged him with murder and other crimes," the spokesperson added. "ERO Detroit lodged a detainer with the Kent County Jail for Ortiz-Vite."

4. Honduran national accused of attempted hiking trail rape, sexual assaults

During a press conference in November, Virginia's Herndon Police Department announced that Denis Humberto Naverette Romero, 31, was charged with abduction with intent to defile and rape a stranger he grabbed off a trail.

On Nov. 24, officers responded to the W&OD Trail for a call about a woman who approached a passerby and asked for help after she said she had been raped.

The victim told police Romero grabbed her, forced her to the ground and raped her.

The woman was able to fight off the attacker and run away to get help. Police located Romero shortly afterward.

Romero, a Honduran national, has a documented history of sexual assaults and indecent exposures in the region dating back to 2022, according to Herndon Police Chief Maggie DeBoard.

A source close to the matter told Fox News Digital Romero is homeless and has been in and out of jail but never served any significant time. He has also had multiple charges dropped to less serious offenses by prosecutors, the source explained.

5. Migrant wanted for murder in Dominican Republic accused of killing New York family

Julio Cesar Pimentel-Soriano, originally from the Dominican Republic, was arrested in September for allegedly murdering a New York family of four in their home.

On Aug. 31, Fraime Ubaldo, 30; Marangely Moreno-Santiago, 26; Evangeline Ubaldo-Moreno, 4; and Sebastian Ubaldo-Moreno, 2, were murdered in their home, the Irondequoit Police Department wrote in a post on X.

"This was a horrific scene," Irondequoit Police Chief Scott Peters said at a press conference. "In almost 32 years of doing this job, I haven't seen anything like it."

Police arrested Pimentel-Soriano Sept. 7.

"It appears Mr. Soriano entered the island of Puerto Rico illegally and obtained fraudulent New York identification," Irondequoit Police said. "With that identification, he was free to travel from Puerto Rico to the United States mainland."

Pimentel-Soriano was wanted for a 2019 murder in his own country at the time of his arrest, according to the department. (Illegal immigrants accused of preying on innocent Americans in 2024.)

This list of victims means nothing to the soulless Biden and even less to George Soros. Those who are bereft of compassion for anyone other than the perpetrators of crimes or those who advance baby-killing and sodomy can have no genuine compassion for the harm their policies have caused, which is why Biden, for one, was so heartless when forcing the relatives of the thirteen American service personnel killed in Afghanistan in 2021 after Biden left them without protection following his personal decision to withdraw without providing for the safety of those on the ground there.

As noted just above, Soros has funded many efforts to institutionalize baby-killing and the evangelization thereof in educational institutions, including in what is said to be public education but is actually the taxpayer-funded indoctrination of children and teenagers in impurity and a slavish adherence to false history, false civics, false science and false morals all while robbing them of the ability to reason and to even be able to write or speak the mother tongue intelligibly or to compute simple arithmetic in their own mind in all to many cases. The result of this madness is a society of decreed barbarians who live only for the moment and who have utterly no sense of right and wrong, and that is exactly that George Soros wants things. This is nihilism even though even most secular commentators do not realize that this is so.

To be sure, the latter-day barbarism that is upon us has many proximate causes, noting full well that the remote root cause of all problems is Original Sin and, more proximately, our own Actual Sins. Men who do not live with a conscious recognition of the Four Last Things (Death, Judgment, Heaven, and Hell) and who are ignorant about or have no belief in the necessity of Sanctifying Grace to do the good and avoid all that which is evil will by necessity fall into barbarism over the course of time, and George Soros has taken full advantage of this barbarism by helping to elect those district attorneys who share his own belief that lawbreakers must not suffer any consequences for their actions because all crimes are the result of supposedly “systemic” injustices and have to be rectified even if those who consider themselves innocent bystanders must get killed in the process.

Too harsh?

Consider what a Soros bought-and-paid for district attorney in Wisconsin said eighteen years ago:

From Sunday night’s knifing in an L station to Thursday morning’s stabbing of an off-duty MTA worker on a Bronx platform, the violence follows on the horrific pre-Christmas arson-murder of Debrina Kawam and includes Tuesday’s miraculously-not-fatal shoving onto tracks in Manhattan.

And the hell-ification of the underground is a predictable consequence of “social justice” policies.

Take Kamel Hawkins, 23 and charged with second-degree assault and attempted murder for after shoving that unsuspecting stranger in front of an incoming 1 train.

No surprise: His long rap sheet includes a 2019 attack on a cop police officer, plus an assault, harassment and weapons possession charge from October and a 2020 case where the judge released him without bail despite prosecutors asking for remand.

Keep letting violent perps walk free, and the violence grows — but progs insist going easy on criminals matters more than preventing innocent people from being killed or maimed.

They’ve told us this.

Way back in 2007, Milwaukee District Attorney John Chisholm, one of the first wave of radical “reform” prosecutors, laid it out: “Is there going to be an individual I divert, or I put into a treatment program, who’s going to go out and kill somebody? You bet. Guaranteed. It’s guaranteed to happen. It does not invalidate the overall approach.”

Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg and the state legislators behind New York’s “criminal justice reforms” might not be as frank about it, but they make the same calculation.

As do those who proclaim the moral urgency of letting the dangerously mental ill roam free and untreated, or allowing millions of unvetted illegal migrants — rapists, murders and gangbangers among them — to cross the border.

“Enforcing the law” is an inherently evil, white-supremist project that must be eradicated; the people who get robbed, raped or murdered along the way are collateral damage.

Debrina Kawam at 57 was reportedly homeless and struggling with mental illness — just the kind of vulnerable soul progressives claim to care about even though “caring” somehow means they’re left out on the streets.

And her alleged killer was another official “victim”: An illegal migrant benefiting from the Biden open border and Gotham’s de Blasio-inflated sanctuary rules.

And the whole sad wave of underground violence is a predictable — indeed, predicted — result of the progressive refusal to fight farebeating, the “gateway drug” of subway crime.

The needless, bloody chaos won’t stop until this poisonous ideology is rejected at every level of government. (Leftists know their policies will result in more victims, and they don't care.)

Here are just a few stories of the mindless violence that has taken place in the City of New York and elsewhere across the United States of America in a “free” country that has been used by George Soros to exploit the natural degeneration of men when their countries do not submit themselves to the sweet yoke of Christ the King and His Catholic Church and thus live as beasts for food, drink, material possessions, and the fulfillment of every base desire:

A mob of gleeful onlookers laughed at and mocked a cop lying unconscious on the ground after he was hurled from a speeding car while trying to arrest a woman in Texas early Friday, disturbing video shows.

The video from Beaumont first shows a woman running across a parking lot and hopping into an open convertible, chased by a police officer.

When the officer tries to leap into the car’s back seat to stop her, the woman hits the gas, sending the cop flying head-first into the pavement.

As the officer — who suffered a serious head injury, authorities said — lay unconscious on the ground, a throng of young bystanders laughed and cheered.

“Yo, yo! Police! Step on my man!” a person jeered as the convertible sped out of the parking lot.

Police later arrested the car’s suspected driver, 28-year-old Jamaysha Butler, who faces charges of Intoxication Assault and Evading Detention, both resulting in serious bodily injury to a peace officer, the Beaumont Police Department said in a Facebook post.

The unnamed injured officer was rushed to a nearby hospital and treated for a brain bleed, although he is in stable condition, KDFM reported.

As the video made the rounds on social media, commenters joined in on the sick mockery.

“Beaumont police plays dead after woman smoothly escapes,” wrote the account @dallasglobaltv, which has more than 70,000 followers on Instagram.

A commenter said, “Dude thought he was Paul Blart,” referring to the bumbling security guard played by Kevin James in the comedy flick “Mall Cop.”

Another person wrote, “He said I’ma just lay here and pretend that didn’t happen.”

Cops also nabbed another woman involved in the ruckus: Melissa Bell, 22, who allegedly kicked and kneed the arresting officer while he was trying to bring her to a patrol car at one point, according to KDFM.

Both Butler and Bell had prior arrests. Bell was busted in her latest alleged antics for public intoxication, resisting arrest, interference with public duties, assault on a peace officer and outstanding warrants, police said. A woman is in custody for the fatal stabbing of a postal worker following a dispute over sandwiches at a Manhattan deli on Thursday, law enforcement sources told the Daily News.

The 36-year-old mailman was on duty for the U.S. Postal Service when he stopped at Joe’s Grocery on Lenox Road near W. 118th St. to order a sandwich around 2:30 p.m., cops said.

When the postal worker placed his order, a woman there became enraged, claiming he had cut her in line and the two began shouting at each other, a witness told The News.

“It was over a sandwich,” said Janet Rich, who was in the deli buying coffee when the fight broke out. “It was, ‘I was next. No, I was next.’ It was for nothing.”

Rich said that she and another woman inside the store attempted to intervene, but that neither party appeared willing to stand down.

“I got in between them — twice,” said Rich. There was another woman with dreadlocks [who] said, ‘Don’t do this, you have a good job. Let this go.'”

The postal worker “took off his coat and said, ‘You want to stab me? I picked up his coat and put it back on. I was trying to prevent the fight.”

Rich described the woman as “huge” at about 6’ 5″ tall and said she appeared to be on high on drugs, as she was literally “foaming at the mouth.”

The argument ended when the woman drew a small steak knife and stabbed the postal worker at least three times, Rich said.

“She started stabbing him and the next thing you know blood was everywhere,” Rich said.

Cellphone footage recorded by Rich shows the wounded postal worker lying on the deli floor in a pool of blood as a man attempts to help him.

Medics rushed the victim to Harlem Hospital, where he died.

The suspect fled to her apartment located on W. 118th St. just a few doors down from the deli, sources said.

A knife could be seen lying next to a pool of blood beyond police tape on Thursday.

Rich said she witnessed cops cuffing the woman and taking her into custody Thursday evening.

Charges were still pending Thursday night, cops said.

In a bizarre coincidence, Rich, who works as a hoist operator, was working at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Manhattan Thursday when another worker fell 40 feet to his death, and said she rode the elevator with medics to a third-floor ballroom where they would pronounce the man dead at the scene.

Jamar Banks — a 52-year-old with a long rap sheet and history of mental illness — was nabbed by the NYPD Warrant Squad around midnight at the 219th Street station in The Bronx and brought to the NYPD’s Transit Bureau District 2, police sources said.

He was carrying what had been described by police as a “large knife,” which he allegedly used in last week’s attacks, sources said.

Banks was last busted in November — twice for petty theft — and released with summonses to later appear in court, sources said.

He is being held on charges of first-degree assault and third-degree weapons possession in last week’s straphanger stabbings, cops said.

Banks was wanted for allegedly stabbing a 31-year-old man on a No. 2 train at 14th Street and Seventh Avenue in Manhattan on Wednesday after arguing with his victim, cops said.

He is also suspected of starting another argument with an off-duty MTA cleaner about 6 a.m. Thursday, then knifing his victim in the back and armpit on the northbound No. 6 train platform at Pelham Bay station in The Bronx, police said.

The attacker fled after both stabbings. Both victims were taken to hospitals in stable condition.

A Big Apple straphanger was shoved onto Manhattan subway tracks and struck by an incoming 1 train in a cowardly attack Tuesday — miraculously surviving the horrifying, caught-on-video ordeal.

In what cops are calling a random attack, an unidentified 45-year-old man was at the 18th Street station shortly after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday when a hooded thug pushed him onto the tracks.

Incredibly, the victim survived the harrowing assault with just a head injury — while cops are grilling a person of interest in the cowardly afternoon attack.

“By God’s own hand, he fell perfectly in the trench,” one law enforcement source said of the victim.

He was listed in stable condition at Bellevue Hospital on Tuesday night.

Chilling video footage obtained by The Post shows the cowardly brute roaming the edge of the platform while the victim appears to be looking at his phone as the train pulls into the station.

Without warning, the suspect pushes the man onto the tracks, with the unsuspecting straphanger disappearing under the train.

Two others are seen jumping the turnstile seconds before the attack — then rushing out of the station and off camera after they witness the nightmare scenario on New Year’s Eve.

It does not appear the victim knew his attacker, cops said.

“The subway stopped abruptly, then we waited for 10 minutes, confused,” said Violet Paley, who was on the train.

“Then the conductor said over the intercom that we were going to have to evacuate because there was a man under the train,” Paley said. “We walked off the subway, there were a bunch of cops and paramedics and they climbed down to get him.

“When they got him out, I was shocked to see him blinking his eyes and moving his fingers. He was bloody.”

Dramatic video footage from the scene shows firefighters working to pull the injured man from between subway cars as bystanders gawk at the scene on the station platform. One relieved bystander is heard shouting, “He’s alive! He’s alive!”

The suspect, 23, fled the station but was busted above ground near Columbus Circle hours later, cops said.

A group of travelers and one employee threw punches, grabbed hair and whacked each other with “Wet Floor” signs in a wild, caught-on-camera brawl reminiscent of a WWE match inside Chicago O’Hare International Airport last week.

Insane video shared on social media of the Dec. 12 melee shows three men — including an employee in a blue shirt — seemingly teaming up against one man in a white T-shirt inside American Airlines Terminal Three.

The men punch each other and use the yellow floor signs as weapons, smacking each other in the head and body as the sound of the plastic slapping echoed through the terminal, the footage shows.

As the three gang up on the man in the white shirt, he knocks one to the floor and yanks several dreadlocks off another’s head, according to two videos taken from different angles.

Two of the men armed with the “Wet Floor” signs follow the man in white as he steps back — still holding the dreads he ripped out, one clip shows.

The man on his own lifts a metal stanchion behind him and threatens the others — finally ending the violent encounter as the others back off, the video shows.

Chicago police responded to the disturbance but made no arrests and no report was generated, a spokesperson for the department said.

It’s unclear what prompted the scuffle and whether the employee involved was a staffer for the airport, an airline or a vendor inside the transit hub.

These things never happened seventy years ago, and a very large part of the reason why they never happened, apart from parents who taught right from wrong and law enforcement officials who enforced the law, was that there was a superabundance of Sanctifying and Actual Grace in the world flowing out of every Holy Mass.

All has devolved into chaos in the past sixty years, fulfilling the prophecy of Pope Leo XIII about the tragic consequences of socialism and nihilism in the world:

Hence, by a new species of impiety, unheard of even among the heathen nations, states have been constituted without any count at all of God or of the order established by him; it has been given out that public authority neither derives its principles, nor its majesty, nor its power of governing from God, but rather from the multitude, which, thinking itself absolved from all divine sanction, bows only to such laws as it shall have made at its own will. The supernatural truths of faith having been assailed and cast out as though hostile to reason, the very Author and Redeemer of the human race has been slowly and little by little banished from the universities, the Iyceums and gymnasia — in a word, from every public institution. In fine, the rewards and punishments of a future and eternal life having been handed over to oblivion, the ardent desire of happiness has been limited to the bounds of the present. Such doctrines as these having been scattered far and wide, so great a license of thought and action having sprung up on all sides, it is no matter for surprise that men of the lowest class, weary of their wretched home or workshop, are eager to attack the homes and fortunes of the rich; it is no matter for surprise that already there exists no sense of security either in public or private life, and that the human race should have advanced to the very verge of final dissolution. 6. Assuredly, the Church wisely inculcates the apostolic precept on the mass of men: “There is no power but from God; and those that are, are ordained of God. Therefore he that resisteth the power resisteth the ordinance of God. And they that resist purchase to themselves damnation.” And again she admonishes those “subject by necessity” to be so “not only for wrath but also for conscience’ sake,” and to render “to all men their dues; tribute to whom tribute is due, custom to whom custom, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.”[9] For, He who created and governs all things has, in His wise providence, appointed that the things which are lowest should attain their ends by those which are intermediate, and these again by the highest. Thus, as even in the kingdom of heaven He hath willed that the choirs of angels be distinct and some subject to others, and also in the Church has instituted various orders and a diversity of offices, so that all are not apostles or doctors or pastors,[10] so also has He appointed that there should be various orders in civil society, differing in dignity, rights, and power, whereby the State, like the Church, should be one body, consisting of many members, some nobler than others, but all necessary to each other and solicitous for the common good.

7. But that rulers may use the power conceded to them to save and not to destroy, the Church of Christ seasonably warns even princes that the sentence of the Supreme Judge overhangs them, and, adopting the words of divine wisdom, calls upon all in the name of God: “Give ear, you that rule the people, and that please yourselves in multitudes of nations; for power is given you by the Lord, and strength by the Most High, who will examine your works, and search out your thoughts…. For a most severe judgment shall be for them that bear rule…. For God will not except any man’s person, neither will he stand in awe of any man’s greatness, for he hath made the little and the great; and he hath equally care of all. But a greater punishment is ready for the more mighty.”[11] And if at any time it happen that the power of the State is rashly and tyrannically wielded by princes, the teaching of the Catholic church does not allow an insurrection on private authority against them, lest public order be only the more disturbed, and lest society take greater hurt therefrom. And when affairs come to such a pass that there is no other hope of safety, she teaches that relief may be hastened by the merits of Christian patience and by earnest prayers to God. But, if the will of legislators and princes shall have sanctioned or commanded anything repugnant to the divine or natural law, the dignity and duty of the Christian name, as well as the judgment of the Apostle, urge that “God is to be obeyed rather than man.”[12]

8. Even family life itself, which is the cornerstone of all society and government, necessarily feels and experiences the salutary power of the Church, which redounds to the right ordering and preservation of every State and kingdom. For you know, venerable brethren, that the foundation of this society rests first of all in the indissoluble union of man and wife according to the necessity of natural law, and is completed in the mutual rights and duties of parents and children, masters and servants. You know also that the doctrines of socialism strive almost completely to dissolve this union; since, that stability which is imparted to it by religious wedlock being lost, it follows that the power of the father over his own children, and the duties of the children toward their parents, must be greatly weakened. But the Church, on the contrary, teaches that “marriage, honorable in all,”[13] which God himself instituted in the very beginning of the world, and made indissoluble for the propagation and preservation of the human species, has become still more binding and more holy through Christ, who raised it to the dignity of a sacrament, and chose to use it as the figure of His own union with the Church.

Wherefore, as the Apostle has it,[14] as Christ is the head of the Church, so is the man the head of the woman; and as the Church is subject to Christ, who embraces her with a most chaste and undying love, so also should wives be subject to their husbands, and be loved by them in turn with a faithful and constant affection. In like manner does the Church temper the use of parental and domestic authority, that it may tend to hold children and servants to their duty, without going beyond bounds. For, according to Catholic teaching, the authority of our heavenly Father and Lord is imparted to parents and masters, whose authority, therefore, not only takes its origin and force from Him, but also borrows its nature and character. Hence, the Apostle exhorts children to “obey their parents in the Lord, and honor their father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise”;[15] and he admonishes parents: “And you, fathers, provoke not your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and correction of the Lord.”[16] Again, the apostle enjoins the divine precept on servants and masters, exhorting the former to be “obedient to their lords according to the flesh of Christ . . . with a good will serving, as to the Lord”; and the latter, to “forbear threatenings, knowing that the Lord of all is in heaven, and there is no respect of persons with God.”[17] If only all these matters were faithfully observed according to the divine will by all on whom they are enjoined, most assuredly every family would be a figure of the heavenly home, and the wonderful blessings there begotten would not confine themselves to the households alone, but would scatter their riches abroad through the nations.

9. But Catholic wisdom, sustained by the precepts of natural and divine law, provides with especial care for public and private tranquillity in its doctrines and teachings regarding the duty of government and the distribution of the goods which are necessary for life and use. For, while the socialists would destroy the “right” of property, alleging it to be a human invention altogether opposed to the inborn equality of man, and, claiming a community of goods, argue that poverty should not be peaceably endured, and that the property and privileges of the rich may be rightly invaded, the Church, with much greater wisdom and good sense, recognizes the inequality among men, who are born with different powers of body and mind, inequality in actual possession, also, and holds that the right of property and of ownership, which springs from nature itself, must not be touched and stands inviolate. For she knows that stealing and robbery were forbidden in so special a manner by God, the Author and Defender of right, that He would not allow man even to desire what belonged to another, and that thieves and despoilers, no less than adulterers and idolaters, are shut out from the Kingdom of Heaven. But not the less on this account does our holy Mother not neglect the care of the poor or omit to provide for their necessities; but, rather, drawing them to her with a mother’s embrace, and knowing that they bear the person of Christ Himself, who regards the smallest gift to the poor as a benefit conferred on Himself, holds them in great honor. She does all she can to help them; she provides homes and hospitals where they may be received, nourished, and cared for all the world over and watches over these. She is constantly pressing on the rich that most grave precept to give what remains to the poor; and she holds over their heads the divine sentence that unless they succor the needy they will be repaid by eternal torments. In fine, she does all she can to relieve and comfort the poor, either by holding up to them the example of Christ, “who being rich became poor for our sake,[18] or by reminding them of his own words, wherein he pronounced the poor blessed and bade them hope for the reward of eternal bliss. But who does not see that this is the best method of arranging the old struggle between the rich and poor? For, as the very evidence of facts and events shows, if this method is rejected or disregarded, one of two things must occur: either the greater portion of the human race will fall back into the vile condition of slavery which so long prevailed among the pagan nations, or human society must continue to be disturbed by constant eruptions, to be disgraced by rapine and strife, as we have had sad witness even in recent times. One passage above bears repeating as it is a perfect description of Senor Jorge, who is very much allied with George Soros and who, as noted earlier, give some kind of “papal” award or medal to Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., within the next fourteen days, and the Big Guy himself:

One of the corollary proofs of the apostasies facing us at this time is the man who claims to be “Pope Francis” is entirely supportive of socialism and its goals. His kinship with world leaders who embrace socialist policies and with George Soros, the world’s leading financier of all things wicked (contraception, abortion, “palliative care,” sodomy and all its related perverse vices, “open borders,” violence against opponents of the “enlightened” Soros agenda, socialism, statism, globalism, feminism, environmentalism, evolutionism, etc.) and his words of praise for them speak loudly about the fact that he is a fellow traveler who has as much contempt for papal condemnations of socialism and communism as his predecessors have had for the very immutable nature of dogmatic truth, noting that belief in biological evolutionism would lead to social and theological evolutionism. Jorge Mario Bergoglio is one of those hypocritical egalitarians who believe that the “enlightened” are more “equal” than all the rest.

Bergoglio can readily indemnify the likes of Biden and Nancy Patricia D’Alesandro Pelosi while working quite collegially with George Soros because, despite all of his occasional about abortion being similar to hiring a hit man, he really does not see any connection between attacks upon the innocent preborn by chemical or surgical means and the state-sponsored violence and socially institutionalized violence that are but the logical consequence of denying the humanity of a little child who is guilty of nothing.

During this Octave of the Epiphany of Our Lord, therefore, we must turn to Our Lady to help us always to keep focused on First and Last Things and that the antidote to naturalism of any kind (liberalism, socialism, communism, conservatism, populism, materialism, nationalism, Zionism, fascism, environmentalism, feminism, etc.) is to be found in her Most Holy Rosary and in our devotion to her Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart as we seek to plant the seeds for the restoration of her Divine Son made manifest to the Gentiles, Christ the King, as the King of all men and all nations.

To turn to Pope Pius XI’s Quas Primas, December 11, 1925, which was quoted just two days ago in my reflection on the Feast of the Holy Name of Jesus:

Moreover, the annual and universal celebration of the feast of the Kingship of Christ will draw attention to the evils which anticlericalism has brought upon society in drawing men away from Christ, and will also do much to remedy them. While nations insult the beloved name of our Redeemer by suppressing all mention of it in their conferences and parliaments, we must all the more loudly proclaim his kingly dignity and power, all the more universally affirm his rights. (Pope Pius XI, Quas Primas, December 11, 1925.)

We utter the Holy Name of Jesus fifty-three times when we pray one set of mysteries of Our Lady’s Most Holy Rosary, bowing our heads as we do so. May this daily utterance of the sweet and Holy Name of Jesus during the praying of the Most Holy Rosary help us to have fortitude to invoke the Holy Name of Jesus without hesitation and to have the courage to suffer both the white martyrdom of persecution, ridicule and ostracism and actual blood martyrdom if such a golden opportunity to save one’s soul should be within the Providence of God to give us.
