Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal: In Ways That Baffle The Minds of "Modern Men"

Yesterday, Sunday, November 27, 2016, was the First Sunday of Advent and the Commemoration of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Although this feast is not observed on the General Roman Calendar of the Catholic Church, it is nevertheless an important one to commemorate as this powerful sacramental is yet another sign of the love that pours out from the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the hands of Our Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces, despite our own ingratitude and infidelities.

This reflection was written in 2010 and published in two parts. It was a year ago now that it was combined into one part and revised slightly in a few places.

Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, pray for us.

Saint Catherine Laboure, pray fo rus.

Republished: John Calvin Could Not Be Happier

One of the saddest spectacles here in a land suffused with the ethos of Judeo-Calvinist-Masonic naturalism is how the secular celebration of thanksgiving day has eclipsed Christmas Day in the homes of many Americans. This is quite by design as it was the intention of the thirty-third degree Freemason named Franklin Delano Roosevelt to promote shopping during a time when our attention must be on withdrawing from the world.

As there are a few new readers to this site, including some from Protestant and even Jewish backgrounds who have expressed an interesting in converting to the true Faith, it is my hope that this republished reflection might of assistance in demonstrating the extent to which the warfare against Christ the King that entered its overt phase with the Protestant Revolution in 1517 has shaped what passes for American "culture" to the detriment of souls and thus to all of social order.

An Advent reflection is found below, and my new article for the day, "Jorge Can't Keep Track of His Own Heresies!", is to be found below that reflection (and is listed on the Articles page, which is now editable again thanks to the efforts of the Catholic gentleman who does the updates required to maintain this site).

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Sylvester the Abbot, pray for us.

Saint Peter of Alexandria, pray for us.

As Advent Begins In 2016

An original commentary, "Jorge Can't Keep Track of His Own Heresies!", was posted shortly after Midnight this morning.

This is a revised Advent reflection. Another such reflection will follow shortly, and it will then be time to write my commentary on two Latin American revolutionaries, Fidel and Jorge, which is turning out to be very long and detailed.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Sylvester the Abbot, pray for us.

Saint Peter of Alexandria, pray for us.

Jorge Can't Even Keep Track of His Own Heresies!

I made the mistake at looking at the conciliar Vatican website’s last night, whereupon I discovered that Jorge Mario Bergoglio had spoken about “eternal damnation” at the Casa Santa Marta yesterday morning, Friday, November 25, 2016, the Feast of Saint Catharine of Alexandria. Don’t worry, Bergoglio hasn’t embraced the Catholic Faith. Not even close. This article explains why. Given the fact that I had have written about Bergoglio’s blathering at a late hour, “Sober Up, part four,” not that too many of you are interested in reading it, that is, will be delayed by a few more days, and the death of the mass murdering Marxist named Fidel Castro, who will likely receive warm words of praise from the “pope of the poor,” requires a bit of attention, of course. There will be three revised reflections that will be posted by the middle part of the afternoon, and I want to inform readers that I am unable to update the Articles page at this time as there is some kind of technical glitch that prevents me from doing so. I hope to have this resolved soon, but I am entirely dependent upon the expertise of the Catholic gentleman who redesigned the site in July of 2014 and performs updates on the software as needed. Finally, non-tax-deductible financial gifts are always welcomed. Now is a particularly good time for them. Thank you! Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Sylvester the Abbot, pray for us. Saint Peter of Alexandria, pray for us.

Jorge Further Dethrones Christ the King to Deify Man

It is now the evening of November 24, 2016, the Feast of Saint John of the Cross and the Commemoration of Saint Chysogonus.

This new commentary, work upon which continued most of the day yesterday and today, focuses on only two passages of Jorge Mario Bergoglio's Misercordia et Misera, November 20, 2016, dealing with "pastoral conversion" and his announcement to institute a "World Day for the Poor" that will eclipse the Novus Ordo feast of Christ the King that had been attacked by the liturgical revolutionaries on the Consilium fifty years ago.

Part four of "Sober Up" continues to be a work in progress, but should appear by Sunday, November 27, 2016, the First Sunday of Advent.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint John of the Cross, pray for us.

Saint Chrysogonus, pray for us.

Pope Saint Clement I: Model of "Rigidity"

Well, I am still working on my commentary on Misercodria et Misera. As the work is going to require another five or six solid hours of writing, I cannot complete it as Midnight on the Feast of Pope Saint Clement I and the Commemoration of Saint Felicity approaches.

A very brief commentary on the work of Pope Saint Clement is thus being posted for your consideration.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Pope Saint Clement I, pray for us.

Saint Felicity, pray for us.

On The Feast of Saint Cecilia

Although there was simply not enough time to do justice to the Argentine Apostate's new anti-apostolic letter, Misercordia et Misera, I have reworked and revised material from an earlier reflection about the saint whose feast is celebrated today, Saint Cecilia. It is only just to give her some small bit of attention today as she is important enough in the history of the Church for her name to be included in the Canon of the Mass.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Cecilia, pray for us.

Sober Up, part three

This is a continuation of my commentary on the election. Part four, which will focus on the election results themselves, will follow in a few days as Jorge Mario Bergoglio's latest missive issued in his name, Misercordia et Misera, requires more attention than can be given it late on today's feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. I promise you, however, to provide a commentary on this for posting on the Feast of Pope Saint Clement I, Wednesday, November 23, 2016.

A blessed Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary to you all.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saints Joachim and Anne, pray for us.

No Black and White for Jorge Mario Bergoglio

Bergoglio keeps getting in the way of "Sober Up."

No one is sorrier than I am.

This commentary was expanded in several places about sixteen hours after it was posted.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Felix of Valois, pray for us.

Saint Elizabeth of Hungary: Suffering At The Hands of Her Own Family

This is a revised and expanded reflection on the suffering enduring by the very first member of the Third Order of Saint Francis of Assisi, Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, who suffered much at the hands of her family members and even at the hands of the poor whose welfare she provided so generously when her husband, Louis, was the Landgrieve of Thuringia.

Work on part three of "Sober Up" continues. Once again, I am trying to be methodical and thorough, but I do expect the commentary to be posted by Monday morning. Thank you for your patience.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, pray for us.

Pope Saint Pontianus, pray for us.
