On the [Commemorated] Feast of Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, S.J., June 21, 2025

I believe that it is appropriate on this commemorated feast of Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, S.J.,to present this republished reflection to you.

Saint Aloysius Gonzaga was a great lover of the Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in His Real Presence in the Most Blessed Sacrament and of Our Lady. Saint Aloysius was intensely united to the sufferings that Our Lord endured in His Passion and Death, offering up his own sufferings prior to death, sufferings that he contracted as a result of helping a man with the plague in Rome, in union with that of Our Lord's own Passion and Death.

Saint Aloysius was also devoted to the angels, which makes sense as he had an angelic purity of his own. We need to invoke his holy intercession to help us to have as a pure a heart as he did as we attempt to make reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary for our own sins, especially any and all against Holy Purity.

It was at Saint Aloysius School in Great Neck, New York, where I learned the truths of the Catholic Faith as they were taught with clarity by the Reverend Sisters of Mercy (and one lay teacher, Miss Greta McCarthy, a young Irish immigrant who knew the Holy Faith very well, who became Mrs. Greta Foley after the end of the 1961-1962 school year; she died in 2012), I owe Saint Aloysius so very much. I have been devoted to him from the time that I entered Kindergarten in September of 1956.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, pray for us.

Saint Paulinus of Nola, pray for us.

Saint Alban, pray for us.

This is a follow-up commentary to Benedictus Qui Venit in Nomine Domini, part eighteen, that focuses on the fact that men in public life whose minds are not informed by First and Last Things will be inclined use visceral instincts as the basis of decision-making, which in the case of President Donald John Trump means to be boastfully announce all manner of plans and “ultimatums,” including an “ultimate ultimatum,” that are designed to demonstrate unwavering fealty to a foreign power, whose military adventures are antithetical to the legitimate national security interests of the United States of America.

This commentary was revised and expanded on the morning of June 19, 2025.

The Solemnity of Corpus Christi, June 19, 2025

Today is the great Feast of Corpus Christi. This article, written a long time ago now and slightly revised over the years, is an exhortation to the readers of this site to spend more and more time in adoration before Our Beloved before His Real Presence in the Most Blessed Sacrament if this is at all possible in your area.

Adoration is the first end of prayer, including the perfect prayer that is the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in which Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ becomes Incarnate under the appearances of bread and wine when a men man, uttering mere words over the elements of the earth, calls Him down from Heaven. We must adore God with our whole mind, soul, heart, body and strength. To spend time before the Most Blessed Sacrament in prayer is a foretaste of Heavenly glories.

Our goal in life is to behold the glory of the Beatific Vision of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost for all eternity in the company of Our Lady, Saint Joseph, our Guardian Angels (each of whom beholds the Beatific Vision as he tries to guide us home to Heaven!), our patron saints and all of the members of the Church Triumph, whose ranks we hope and pray will include our dearest and nearest relatives and friends.

We must make time for the foretaste of Heavenly glories by means of profound Eucharistic Adoration in this life is we want to enjoy the glories of Heaven itself for all eternity. There are infused graces that are flooded into the souls of those who spend time in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, those souls who are conscious of the need to make reparation for their sins as they give thanksgiving to God for all of the favors, both spiritual and temporal, they have received and who recognize the need to petition God for the favors we need, both spiritual temporal, starting with an earnest petition each day that we be given the grace to have a holy and sacramentally-provided-for death.

Our Lord stands ready to send us this infusion of graces through the loving hands of His Most Blessed Mother, who is mystically with us when we pray before her Divine Son’s Real Presence. All we need to do is to arrange our lives in such a way as to make time for prayer before Our Eucharistic King and Lord.

We must, of course, be conscious of our need to get to the Sacrament of Penance on a weekly basis in order that our reception of Our Lord’s Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in Holy Communion will be worthy and fervent. The frequent, devout and worthy reception of Our Lord in Holy Communion gives strength even to those souls who have been steeped in one sin after another, those souls who have refused to surrender to the devil’s attacks upon them over the years:

And then come, and accuse me, saith the Lord: if your sins be as scarlet, they shall be made as white as snow: and if they be red as crimson, they shall be white as wool. If you be willing, and will hearken to me, you shall eat the good things of the land. (Isaias 1: 18-19.)

We must ask Our Lady on this great feast day of Corpus Christi, which, of course, is celebrated as an Octave in those chapels that use the Missal of Saint Pius V before it was “reformed” by the revolutionary efforts of Annibale Bugnini and Ferdinando Antonelli in the 1950s, to help give us more and more graces to recognize the Most Sacred Heart of her Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, beats for with great love in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

We must ask Our Lady to help us approach the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through her own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart with such fervor and devotion that we will consider it as a great loss if ever there is a day we are unable to get a true offering of Holy Mass and unable to spend at least some time with her Divine Son, Who is the Prisoner of Love in tabernacles today just as He was the Prisoner of her Virginal and Immaculate Womb from the time of His Incarnation to the day of His Nativity.

We must also thank Our Lord and His Most Blessed Mother for our true bishops and true priests who make it possible for us to have the Sacraments in this time of apostasy and betrayal, remembering to pray that more young men will have the courage to renounce the world and study to become an alter Christus so that he, acting in persona Christi in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, can make Our Lord present in the Most Blessed Sacrament and to bless us with that Most Blessed Sacrament on great feast days such as this one.

A blessed Feast of Corpus Christi to you all!

What a mystery of love.

Words fail.

Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament, pray for us.

Leo's "Coordinates" of Peace, Human Dignity, and Dialogue are Worthy of Captain Peter Peachfuzz Himself

Time flies.

It has been nine days since I last commented on Robert Leo Prevost/Leo XIV.

However, this commentary, which deals with an address the seventh in the current line of antipopes delivered earlier today to the members of the conciliar hierarchy in Italy, is an attempt to make up for lost time.

Although there is truly nothing new under the conciliar sun, I have to admit that I do not recall any of the conciliar “pontiffs” refer to the “coordinates” by which the Gospel can be incarnated today.

Among Prevost/Leo’s “coordinates” are “peace, human dignity, dialogue.” Nothing about the sanctification and salvation souls.

Leo’s “coordinates” are worthy of Captain Peter “Wrong Way” Peachfuzz himself.

It is my hope to have a follow-up to yesterday’s commentary published by this time tomorrow. Thank you.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Ephraem the Deacon, pray for us.

Saints Mark and Marcellianus, pray for us.

Benedictus Qui Venit in Nomine Domini, part eighteen

Well, as many of us knew all along, Donald John Trump is not about "America First" but "Israel First" when it comes to a public adherence to whatever Benjamin Netanyahu decides to do, including engaging in a preemptive war, something that is immoral of its nature, in yet another illusory bid to produce "peace" in the Middle East by killing innocent civilians as well as military, intelligence, and scientfic targets. All while this is being done, of course, Israeli forces continue to "finish off" the starving people of Gaza.

For us, of course, we stand for "Christ the King, first, last, and always."

There can never be any peace in the world if men are at war with Christ the King by means of their unrepentant Mortal Sins.

We pray for the triumph of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary as we exclaim always and everywhere:

Viva Cristo Rey!

Another original commentary should appear around this time tomorrow evening. Thank you.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint John Francis Regis, S.J., pray for us.

De Deo Uno, De Deo Trino, June 15, 2025

Today is Trinity Sunday and the Commemorations of the First Sunday after Pentecost, thus beginning the second half of the liturgical year that began with the First Sunday of Advent.

The mystery of the Most Holy Trinity was revealed to us by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Although there are clear references in the text of the Old Testament to a plurality of Persons in the Divine Godhead ("Let us make man in our own image"), human reason, which can come to the conclusion that God exists, is insufficient to know about the existence of the Most Blessed Trinity. Our Lord Himself, the Second Person of the Most Blessed Trinity made Man in Our Lady's Virginal and Immaculate Womb, had to reveal this to us. The doctrine of the Most Holy Trinity is rejected by all infidels and misrepresented by most Protestant sects.

To wit, many Protestants, especially in the evangelical and fundamentalist sects, are "baptized" in "the name of the Lord Jesus," not in "The Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost," which is invalid on its face. This means that many hundreds of thousands of Protestants are not even Christians despite their thinking that they are. We must defend the doctrine of the Most Blessed Trinity with our very lives if necessary, having frequent recourse to the making of the Sign of the Cross throughout the day. This is a custom that is held dear by many Spaniards and Latin Americans.

A blessed Trinity Sunday to you all.

Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, pray for us.

On the Commemorated Feast of Saint Basil the Great, June 14, 2025

Today's republished article, which was written fifteen yeaers ago now and revised again in 2018, attempts to draw comparisons between Saint Basil the Great's battles with the Arians and our own battles with the lords of the counterfeit church of conciliarism and their apologists. I had forgotten, prior to re-reading the article, just how many little nuggets from Dom Prosper Gueranger's The Liturgical Year are contained in its text.

Here is one just nugget:

"Peace is just what Basil desired as much as anybody; but the peace for which he would give his life could be only that true peace left to the Church by our Lord. What he so vigorously exacted on the grounds of faith proceeded solely from his very love of peace. And therefore, as he himself tells us, he absolutely refused to enter into communion with those narrow-minded men who dread nothing so much as a clear, precise expression of dogma; in his eyes their captious formulas and ungraspable shiftings were but the action of hypocrites, in whose company he would scorn to approach God's altar. As to those miserably misled, 'Let the faith of our fathers be proposed to them with all tenderness and charity; if they will assent thereunto, let us receive them into our midst; in other cases, let us dwell with ourselves alone, regardless of numbers; and let us keep aloof from equivocating souls, who are not possessed of that simplicity without guile, indispensably required in the early days of the Gospel from all who would approach to the the faith. The believers, so it is written, had but one heart and one soul. Let those, therefore, who would reproach us for not desiring pacification, mark well who are the real authors of the disturbance and so not point the question of reconciliation on our side any more.'"(Dom Prosper Gueranger, O.S.B., The Liturgical Year.)

The authors of disturbance today are not those of us who point out the errors and blasphemes and sacrileges of the conciliar "popes," including Jorge Mario Bergoglio, but those who are silent about and/or enable these offenses, a silence that prevails these days among so many "conservative" and "traditionally-minded" priests and presbyters in the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

A new commentary dealing what has become the Iranian-Israeli War will be published on Monday.

Also, once again, non-tax-deductible financial gifts are needed at this time.

Thank you.

May God have mercy on us all in this time of chastisement.

Our Lady of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, pray for us.

Saint Basil the Great, pray for us.

On the Commemorated Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua, June 13, 2025

Today is the commemorated feast of Saint Anthony of Padua on Ember Friday in the Octave of Pentecost.

This is but a brief, revised reflection on Saint Anthony, who is near and dear to the hearts of a preponderance of Catholics today no matter where they might fall along the vast expanse of the ecclesiastical divide in this time of apostasy and betrayal.

Perhaps I should note, however, that Saint Anthony of Padua would be hammering the heretics of the counterfeit church of conciliarism today just as he did in his own day nine hundred years ago.

As the hour is late and I much to do today, I do not think that I will have time to complete a coherent commentary on the madness of the Israeli preemptive strike on Iran last evening until Sunday or Monday. Thank you for your patience and remember pray always to be in a state of Sanctifying Grace and do not go to sleep before asking Our Lady to send you the graces to make perfect Act of Contrition after making your nightly Examination of Conscience.

Non-tax-deductible financial gifts would be very welcomed at this time.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Anthony of Padua, pray for us.

From Teilhard de Chardin to Paul Couturier to Robert Francis Prevost

Robert Francis Prevost/Leo XIV has shown himself to be enamored of the work of a direct disciple of the late Father Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, S.J., the late Abbe Paul Couturier, the father of “spiritual ecumenism,” which is a “ecumenism of love” that has no patience for “divisive dogmas.”

This relatively brief commentary thus focuses on part of an address that the latest in the line of conciliar antipopes delivered on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, and an address he delivered to representatives of Orthodox “communities” on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

Do not permit yourself to be snookered: Robert Francis Prevost/Leo XIV is a conciliar revolutionary.

The next original commentary will deal with the insurrections taking place in Los Angeles, California, and elsewhere in the United States of America as well as a few other developments within the ever-mad world wherein most people are willfully entrapped by the conflicts between the “good” and the “bad” sets of false opposites.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saints Primus and Felician (whose feast is suppressed today), pray for us.
