As what I thought originally was a twenty-four-hour sickness is now in its sixth day, my work has been slowed considerably.

However, this new commentary has been written to discuss the so-called United States Conference of “Catholic Bishops” refusal to acknowledge the dangers posed to the protection of American citizens by violent illegal immigrants and to demonstrate once again that the USCCB is itself a mortal threat to the sanctification and salvation of the souls for whom Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ shed every single drop of His Most Precious Blood to redeem during His Passion and Death on the wood of the Holy Cross on Good Friday. It is but an instrument of a false church that has nothing to do with the Catholic Church (see Memorandum from Saint Ambrose to All Catholics: “The Catholic faith derives so much strength and support from the words of the Apostolic See, that it is criminal to entertain any doubts concerning it”).

Work continues on my farewell to Jorge Mario Bergoglio commentary, which will be published one day, if not in the next few days, weeks or months, but is nevertheless important to have the completed commentary on hand when he does die, which by a miracle of Our Lady’s graces will occur only after he has abjured his errors. Unlikely? Yes, human speaking. However, we must continue to pray for a miracle as the following passage from Sacred Scripture applies to each of us as well as to the man who goes by the stage name of “Pope Francis”:

[26] For if we sin wilfully after having the knowledge of the truth, there is now left no sacrifice for sins, [27] But a certain dreadful expectation of judgment, and the rage of a fire which shall consume the adversaries. [28] A man making void the law of Moses, dieth without any mercy under two or three witnesses: [29] How much more, do you think he deserveth worse punishments, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath esteemed the blood of the testament unclean, by which he was sanctified, and hath offered an affront to the Spirit of grace? [30] For we know him that hath said: Vengeance belongeth to me, and I will repay. And again: The Lord shall judge his people.

[31] It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10: 26-31.)

In light of the lingering of some flu-like symptoms, though, I am unable to offer you a new commentary today, the Feast of Saint Matthias, but I am republishing a commentary about the Russo-Ukrainian War that began with the Russian invasion of Ukraine three years ago today.

The commentary was written while the globalist train wreck of an administration fronted by Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. and Kamala Harris Emhoff was encouraging Volodymyr Zelensky to lower the draft age so that younger Ukrainian men could be used as cannon fodder in a war that Ukraine is clearly losing.

A report in The New York Times published eight days ago documented the unsafe, unsanitary, and unseemly conditions in many Planned Barrenhood killing centers. Obviously, The Times did this to argue for “better” conditions and more government funding for its deadly work.

However, the work of Planned Barrenhood has always been unsafe, unsanitary, unseemly, and positively deadly to the spiritual and bodily health of women, to the lives of the innocent preborn, and to pursuit of sanctity by the young as well as people all of ages, and to the stability of family life and the larger life of nations.

Work on a farewell to Jorge Mario Bergoglio will continue later today, Sexagesima Sunday (about which there are three appendices following the body of this current commentary) and the Commemoration of Saint Peter Damian. The Argentine Apostate may not die during his current hospitalization, but he is going to need a great deal of time to recover if he does not die now. My “farewell” will be thematic, not chronological, as was the case when I published Mister Asteroid Is Looking Pretty Good Right About Now on February 12, 2013, the day after Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI announced his resignation, which became effective on February 28, 2013.

I pray for Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s conversion to the Catholic Faith before he dies, whenever that shall occur.

As the latest update provided by the physicians attending Jorge Mario Bergoglio at Gemelli Hospital in Rome, Italy, listed the Argentine Apostate’s condition as “critical” and that he was in need of blood transfusions and large amounts of oxygen, I am preparing a review of this Modernist’s nearly twelve years as the universal public face of apostasy, which is a massive undertaking given the sheer body of Bergoglio’s words and deeds since he emerged on the balcony of the Basilica of Saint Peter on Wednesday evening, March 13, 2013.

Donald John Trump has issued another executive order. Unlike most of the others he has signed recently, the latest executive order is meant to lower the “cost” of the immoral, baby-killing practice known as in vitro fertilization.

The true cost of in vitro fertilization, though, has nothing to do with money. It has everything to do with mocking God and His laws and the killing of millions of embryonic human beings.

Make America “great again”?

I interrupted work on my commentary about Vice President James David Vance’s speech at the Munich Security Conference last week to discuss the president’s latest executive order. Work on the Vance matter will continue later today.

However, I am also mindful that the time may be nearing to give the Argentine Apostate a farewell commentary. While I pray daily for Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s conversion, the fact that he is trying to cement his wretched “legacy” while suffering from double pneumonia means that he is fully prepared to die as an unrepentant heretic and blasphemer. May we beg Our Lady for Bergoglio’s eyes to be opened to the truth before they will be opened for him when dies.

There is much understandable attention being given to the efforts to expose and eliminate wasteful spending, much of used to fund Marxist and anti-family nongovernmental organizations in the name of “saving democracy,” being undertaken by Elon Musk and his associates at the Department of Government Efficiency.

This commentary is to remind readers that, despite the current well-intentioned efforts, the only real way to effect a truly limited government is for men to have a due submission to Christ the King and His Catholic Church as they seek to pursue the common temporal good in light of man’s Last End, the possession of the glory of the Beatific Vision of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost for all eternity in Heaven.

This website went live on February 20, 2004, as a continuation of the work of printed journal of the same time that was published from September 1996 to February 2004. Although I came to understand and accept the true state of the Church Militant in this time of apostasy and betrayal two years, two months, ten days after this site’s debut, my commentaries on politics and governance have been consistent in their discussion of root causes, and I will never wave in my absolute insistence that it is, quite indeed, Christ or chaos.

The next commentary on this site will deal with Vice President James David Vance’s remarkable take down of the globalist tyrants at the European Security Conference in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, on Friday, February 14, 2025, the Feast of Saint Valentine. It was a bold accusation of how the “victors” of the Cold War have institutionalized a Soviet-style system of thought control in their own countries.

There was only one problem with the vice president’s address: “democracy” is not the “solution.” Judeo-Masonic “democracy” must lead to totalitarianism over time.

Today is Septuagesima Sunday. 

Lent begins in but seventeen days.

Easter is exactly nine weeks way.

It is time to start our preparations for Lent, time to start thinking about the penances we are going to undertake starting on Ash Wednesday in order to make reparation for our sins and those of the whole world as we prepare to enter deep into the mysteries of the Paschal Triduum of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's Passion, Death, and Resurrection on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. The purple vestments representing a penitential season of Holy Mother Church make their reappearance today to remind us that we must be deadly serious about the business of making the best Lent of our lives as we do not know whether this Lent will be our last one on the face of this earth--or whether we will even live to see the end of this particular Lent! Let us use this time well as the consecrated slaves of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, praying as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit.

I was preparing to put the final touches on a detailed commentary about the current efforts to smash the bureaucratic power within the deep state by providing some historical context to the subject when the text, which represented about twelve hours worth of work, disappeared into cyberspace just before I was going to press the "publish" button. Oh well, penance is better than ever in 2025, and I will have to get back to work later today in an attempt to rewrite the written material, not a bit of which had been saved even though I thought it had been.

Given that President Donald John Trump continues to insist the United States of America is going to make Gaza “ours,” I think that it is useful to provide readers of this site with a review of how the Israeli government played in helping to build up Hamas as a wedge against the Palestine Liberation Organization, a move that backfired just as much as that the American support for the Mujahideen against the Soviets in Afghanistan forty years ago.

Also reviewed in this commentary is a reminder that the current conflict in the Holy Land was the work of British globalists and international Zionists, who worked in tandem against the Palestinians, whose families had lived in peace thereon for centuries. The Palestinians were displaced, dispossessed, and imprisoned. Many of them were tortured and killed.
