On the Apostolic Promartyr; The Christ-Bearer; and the Mother of the Mother of God

One of the purposes of this website is to provide readers with access to sources that they may not have in their own possession or, if they do, may not be able access particular references readily.

It is with this in mind that I present some reflections about Saint James the Greater/Moorslayer, Saint Christopher and Good Saint Anne.
Most of today will be spent trying to finalize the text for Volume 4 of “To Live in Light of Etenrity.” Upon completion of this work and its expected uploading late tomorrow, Monday, July 27, 2020, the Feast of Saint Pantaleon, that I will return to the work of the next commentary for this site.

Thank you.

Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus, part six

[Saturday morning, July 25, 2020, update on the Feast of Saint James the Greater and the Commemoration of Saint Christopher: This article was updated late Friday, July 24, 2020, the Vigil of Saint James the Greater and the Commemoration of Saint Christina (and, in some places, the Commemoration of Saint Francis Solano). It was updated to include additional support to the evidence provided five days ago when it was published  first and to provide a fuller account to those people who might read the text only after all six parts of this series are published in a book in a month or two.

[Speaking of books, most of my time this week has been spent preparing volume four of "To Live in Light of Eternity" for publication next week. Part of that work has been to write several new commentaries that have not been published on this site. Volume Four covers many,  although not all, of the feasts in the month of August, and Volume Five has been "built" but is in need of the sort of work that will require some attention before it can be published in the latter part of August.

[A reflection on today's Feast of Saint James the Greater and of tomorrow's Feast of Saint Anne will be published late this afternoon, and the commentary on the destruction of statues on the burning of Catholic church buildings in conciliar captivity will follow shortly after Volume Four of "To Live in Light of Eternity" has been uploaded for publication. Thank you.]

"Sin: More Powerful Than the Coronavirus, part six," was published about fourteen hours ago and has been updated and revised. It is long, but not as long as at least two other installments. I do hope some of the regular readers of this site will take the time to read the commentary.

A commentary on the defacing, beheading, destruction and removal of the statues of Our Lord, Our Lady and other saints will follow in a few days. Thank you.

Counterfeit Church, Counterfeit Sacraments, Counterfeit Teaching, Counterfeit Everything, part two

Although it has become very difficult to complete articles such as this one given the limited number of hours available for writing most days, I do hope that those who actually read these commentaries find them useful.

This commentary focuses principally on the way in which the conciliar agenda has been shaped in large measure by Communist infiltrators in the decades prior to the “Second” Vatican Council and by their Jacobin/Bolshevik successors in the counterfeit church of conciliarism thereafter.

The commentary itself runs around thirty pages, and has appendices totaling around twenty-five more.

Work will commence on the next commentary, which might appear a week from today, while I continue to promote “The Battle Over the Oyster Bay-Rye Bridge: Defeating Nelson Rockefeller and Preserving Long Island Sound” and format Volume Four of “To Live in Light of Eternity” for publication late this month.

Jurisprudential Social Engineering

While I am aware that the Supreme Court of the United States of America will be rendering decisions in five important cases this week, this commentary on the decision of the Court in the case of Bostock v. Clayton County, Georgia, will be the last “stand alone” commentary the Court’s decisions for a while. Commentary about these forthcoming decisions will be folded into Naturally Absurd, part two,” which I will start writing after completing part two of “Counterfeit Church, Counterfeit Sacraments, Counterfeit Teaching, Counterfeit Everything” in a few days.

Saints Peter and Paul, pray for us.

Stare Decisis Has No Standing in the Court of Christ the King

Although it had been my intention originally to include a section on the decision of the Supreme Court of the United States of America in Bostock v. Clayton County, Georgia, June 15, 2020, in this particular commentary, the hour is late and there is more than enough material in this article about the decision of the Supreme Court  of the United States of America in the case of June Medical Services v. Russo, June 29, 2020, to keep you busy for a day or two. However, I do expect that the commentary on the Bostock case should be posted on Saturday, July 4, 2020, the Commemoration of All Holy Roman Pontiffs during the Octave of the Feasts of Saints Peter and Paul.

The Laver of Redemption (2020)

[A commentary on two recent decisions of the Supreme Court of the United States of America is being written. Barring any unforeseen complications, the commentary should be published by tomorrow morning on the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Please scroll below for information on my latest book,  see The Battle Over the Oyster Bay-Rye Bridge: Defeating Nelson Rockefeller and Preserving Long Island Sound.]

The Most Precious Blood of Jesus is our laver of redemption, as our own sins, each and every single one of them, caused It to be shed during the events of Holy Thursday and Good Friday.

It was the thought of coming into contact with the horror of our sins, the very antithesis of His Sacred Divinity, that caused Our Lord to sweat droplets of His Most Precious Blood in His Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane.

It was our sins that caused the Most Precious Blood of Jesus to be shed so terribly during His cruel scourging at the Pillar.

It was our sins that caused the Most Precious Blood of Jesus to be shed as He was crowned with thorns to mock His Sacred Kingship over men and their nations.

It was our sins that caused the Most Precious Blood of Jesus to continue to be shed from the scourging and the crowning as He walked up the steps to be judged by the Roman procurator, Pontius Pilate. Droplets of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus are still venerated by pilgrims as proceed on their knees up the Sancta Scala in Rome right across from the Basilica di San Giovanni Laterano.

It was our sins that caused the Most Precious Blood to be shed as Our Lord’s hands and knees were crucified. It was our sins that caused the Most Precious Blood of Jesus to be shed unto Its last drop as He hung on the gibbet of the Holy Holy Cross for three hours, flowing in a torrent as Our Lord’s wounded side was pierced with the lance of Saint Longinus.

What is It that is poured out onto our souls when they are Absolved by a true priest in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance?

The Most Precious Blood of Jesus.

The Most Precious Blood of Jesus strengthens us when we receive It worthily in Holy Communion.

It was the shedding of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus on the wood of the Holy Cross that ratified the New and Eternal Covenant He inaugurated at the Last Supper, thereby obliterating forever the old sacrifices of the blood of bulls and goats and lambs in Temple worship, thus superseding he Old Covenant of the Jews.

We must celebrate this great Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus, which was pumped through Our Divine Redeemer’s Sacred Body by His Most Sacred Heart, the very font of Mercy, with gratitude that we, sinners who caused It to be shed in torrents under the most unspeakably cruel conditions, are bathed unto our redemption by Its merits.

May we never take the Most Precious Blood of Jesus for granted.

A blessed Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ to you all!

Counterfeit Church, Counterfeit Sacraments, Counterfeit Teaching, Counterfeit Everything, part one

A conciliar apologist named Sergio Centofani has endeavored to write a shallow response to “refute,” albeit indirectly and without naming him, Father Carlos Maria Vigano’s recent statement about the rise of “parallel church” since the “Second” Vatican Council. Centofani’s article, which appeared on the Vatican News website, is replete with sophisms and straw man arguments. This article is an effort to deal with Centofani’s inanities.

Finally, commendations must be offered publicly to my former colleague, Christopher A. Ferrara, acting in his capacity as a special counsel for the Thomas More Society, for securing a temporary injunction from United States Judge Gary Sharpe to order the statist trio of Andrew Mark Cuomo, Letitia James and Warren Wilhelm/Warren deBlasio Wilhem/Bill deBlasio to permit the opening of churches in the State of New York after they had permitted protestors and rioters to gather together in massive numbers following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. Ferrara, who understands the nature of the plandemic taking place at this time, did a superb job, and he is to be commended by all Catholics of good will. Saint John the Baptist: The Antithesis of Jorge Mario Bergoglio

[Update on the Octave Day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Commemoration of Saints John and Paul within the Octave of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist: Work on my next original article is nearly complete. The hour, however, is late, and I need at least four or five more hours to write the conclusion and then to format it for publication on this platform.

[In the meantime, however, in addition to the completion of my newest book and the commencement of the promotional work in its behalf, I want to inform the readers of this site that an article dealing with many of the developments in the absurd world of naturalism will be forthcoming in about two weeks after part two of the new commentary is completed by the middle of next week. Given all that is happening witih the Plandemic right now, though, it appears that part six of "Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus" may have to be written next month as time permits. An anthology on matters pertaining to the medical industry and the proper care of the sick is also being prepared at this time.

[Finally, an article by Dr. Joseph Mercola has caught my attention, and I hereby call it to the attention of this site's readers: Why Social Distancing Should Not Be the New Normal ]

This very brief reflection demonstrates the contrast between the purity and zeal for the conversion of sinners exhibited by the last of the Old Testament Prophets, Saint John the Baptist, with the impurity of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who is content to "accompany" unrepentant sinners in the name of a false "mercy" that can lead both him and those he indemnifies to eternal perdition. A longer reflection, , is archived on this site and was included in the text of To Live in Light of Eternity, Volume 3, which, of course, is still available for purchase in paperback or Kindle formats.

Speaking of books, the revised version of my doctoral dissertation, The Battle Over the Oyster Bay-Rye Bridge: Defeating Nelson Rockefeller and Preserving Long Island Sound, is now available for purchase in both ebook and paperback formats. The book, which is an examination of how two ad hoc, single-purpose political interest groups gradually built what they called "picket fences" from 1964 to 1973 to isolate Governor Nelson Aldrich Rockefeller in his quest to build a bridge over Long Island Sound, contains an author's afterword of interest to Catholics and has a foreword written by a former academic colleague. Obviously, the book will not be of interest to many readers of this site. However, a few may find the narrative of the intrigue, which was documented by the researching of primary sources and first-hand interviews of seventy-six people involved in the controversy in one form or another, interesting to read.

Finally, yes, work continues on the next conciliarism-related article.

Father Francis X. Weninger's Third Sermon for the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

As John Glover Roberts had a busy week doing his best imitation of the late Earl Warren, who as the Chief Positivist and Deconstructionist of the United States of America from October 5, 1953, to June 23, 1969 (a wonderful day-after high school graduation gift for me), I can going to hold off on publishing any commentary about Bostock v. Clayton County, Georgia, and the other decisions rendered by the Supreme Court of the United States of America last week until the decision in the case of June Medical Services v. Russo has been rendered. There is no sense writing two needlessly repetitious commentaries in such a short span of time.

After all, although I will do soon again after the decision in the June Medical Services v. Russo case, how many times can I remind readers that the Constitution of the United States of America, which admits of no higher authority than its own text for judicial interpretation and application, is as defenseless in the hands of legal positivists as Holy Writ is in the hands of Protestants and Modernist Catholics? Men who do not recognize the binding precepts of the Divine Law and the Natural Law and submit to Holy Mother Church’s infallible teaching about their interpretation will wind up descending to the depths of the abyss. Naturalism leads to only one result over the course of time: tyranny, which arises from the chaos engendered by refusing to recognize Christ the King as He has revealed Himself exclusively through His Catholic Church and, concomitantly, refusing to cooperate with the supernatural helps she alone has to provide men for their sanctification and salvation, upon which the entirety of social order depends.

As the work uploading “The Battle over the Oyster Bay-Bridge Controversy: Defeating Nelson Rockefeller and Preserving Long Island Sound” is almost complete—and as I commence work on a long commentary dealing with Father Carlo Maria Vigano’s statement admitting the existence of a “parallel church” that has been referred to on this site since 2006 as the “counterfeit church of conciliarism that will take several days to complete, I offer this website’s few remaining readers Father Francis X. Weninger’s “Third Sermon for the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.” The concluding section of the commentary on Father Vigano will contain an explication of this sermon.

On the Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

Today's feast, which was extended to the universal church by Pope Pius IX, is the result of at least six centuries of devotion to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus that culminated with the apparitions of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque at the height of Jansenism in the late-Seventeenth Century.

None of us deserves the mercies of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Yet it is that Our Divine Redeemer does indeed shower us with those mercies if we approach Him with a contrite heart, especially by making regular use of the Sacred Tribunal Penance to make good, integral confessions of our sins to a true priest as we promise to amend our lives, to do penance and to sin no more. We are loved by Love Himself. We are loved particularly by Love Incarnate, Who died for us on the wood of the Holy Cross to redeem us.

Our Lord's love for us is an act of His Divine Will, the ultimate expression of which is the salvation of our immortal souls as members of His Catholic Church. What an obligation we have to return love unto Love Himself as we seek to serve Him as His consecrated slaves through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

What happened to my promised commentary on Bostock v. Clayton County, Georgia?

Good question.

I have been busy preparing an updated and revised version of my doctoral dissertation for publication, a project that has required whatever attention I could give to it on any particular day. As it has turned out, John Glover Roberts has had a busy week protecting the work of the District of Columbia swampland, a reality that will expand the scope of the commentary that I had hoped to have published yesterday, the Octave Day of Corpus Christi and the Commememoration of Saint Ephrem the Deacon and the Commemoration of Saints Mark and Marcillianus. It is now my hope to have the next commentary published by Sunday within the Octave of the Sacred Heart and the Commemoration of Saint Aloysius Gonazaga, S. J.

A blessed Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to you all.

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, pray for us.
