Having posted yesterday's original commentary, Jorge Starts to "Clarify" (Undermine) Dignitatis Infinita, at 3:18 a.m. and having arisen just a few hours later to attend to a busy day of duties on the home front, I could not complete the commentary on the paid and well-organized nihilism taking place on college and university campuses in the United States of America and elsewhere in the world. There is more to this nihilism than meets the eye, which is why I must take my time to develop various points and make the required distinctions and qualifications. Thank you.

Although the hour is very late/early and duties beckon me in but a few hours, I have taken the time to prepare this commentary about how the insidous, pestitlential lay Jesuit revolutionary from Argentina is beginning to "clarify" (undermine) Dignitatis Infinita's section on "gender ideology" and "transgenderism," someting that is driving the "having a pope and eating him too" (resist while recognize) movement into stereotypical frenzy.

It is my hope to have a commentary about the "protests" that have been taking place on university and college campuses across of the United States of America completed by tomorrow, the Fifth Sunday after Easter and the Commemoration of Pope Saint Pius V, and to return to the mad, mad, mad, mad world of naturalism thereafter.

It was my hope to have my next original article published today. However, I only got to the computer a short while ago another having another follow-up examination with my ophthamologist five months after my cataract surgeries, which took longer than expected and delayed other things that had to be done. All is within the Providence of God. I will, though, be back at work tomorrow and hope to finish the article posthaste.

For the moment, though, I am offering a brief reflection on Saint Athanasius of Alexandria, whose feast is celebrated today, May 2, 2024.

Today’s article is a slight revision and republication of a very brief and wholly inadequate reflection on the life of the great mystic, stigmatist and spiritual directress of souls, Saint Catherine of Siena, T.O.P., whose feast day is the day after that of the Protomartyr of the Order of Preachers, Saint Peter of Verona (Saint Peter Martyr).

Saint Catherine was calumniated during her life, and she was blamed for having precipitated the Great Western Schism by convincing Pope Gregory XI to return to return to Rome in 1378. She suffered all such calumny with joy.

What’s our excuse for grumbling and/or murmuring about our crosses and the state of chaos in which we live in this time of apostasy and betrayal?

Remember, everything thing that happens to us has been ordained by the hand of God Himself with exquisite perfection. Saint Catherine of Siena never lost an opportunity to suffer well. Indeed, she begged to suffer more and more for love of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. So should we.

As I have a long drive ahead of me today, Tuesday, April 30, 2024, for my annual cardiac examination with Dr. Peter A McCullough, my next original article may not appear until Thursday, May 2, 2024.

Today is the feast of the protomartyr of the Order of Preachers, Saint Peter of Verona, who is known more commonly as Saint Peter Martyr. Time has been spent to revise this brief reflection of the life and holy martyrdom of this great Dominican, who hated error in his childhood as a result of being brought up by parents who were Manicheans. Saint Peter Martyr loved the Holy Faith, and it was this love that prompted him to accept his martyrdom with serenity as he wrote "Credo in Unum Deum" in his very own blood as he fell to the ground after a heretic had stabbed him.

An original article, Victor Manuel Fernandez's Anthropocentric Decree on Human Dignity, part six, was published early yesterday morning, the Fourth Sunday after Easter, and the Commemorations of of Saint Paul of the Cross, Saint Vitalis, and [in some places] of Saint Louis Grignion de Montfort and of Saint Peter Chanel.

I am offering a republished reflection on the life and martyrdom of Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen, O.F.M., Cap., the Protomartyr of the Capuchin Franciscans and the patron saint of the Society for the Propagation of the faith, today, Wednesday, April 24, 2024, which is also the Octave Day of the Solmenity of Saint Joseph in those venues observing the General Roman Calendar of 1954.

Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen, O.F.M., Cap. opposed false ecumenism with his very life. Unlike the conciliar "popes" and their "episcopal" henchmen, Saint Fidelis came to "extirpate heresy, not to embrace it."
