Republished: Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Suffered at the Hands of Her Own Family

This is a republished reflection on the suffering endured by the very first member of the Third Order of Saint Francis of Assisi, Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, who suffered much at the hands of her family members and even at the hands of the poor whose welfare she provided so generously when her husband, Louis, was the Landgrieve of Thuringia.

Yesterday's original commentary, , has been revised to include an urgent statement, distributed via email, by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the Chairman and Chief Legal Counsel of Children's Health Defense, about the inherent dangers of the vaccines that been developed at "warp speed" by Big Pharma that change the recipients' genetic structure irreversibily. Kennedy's statement is concise and very readable. Please make sure to read it within yesterday's commentary and to distribute his urgent statement as widely as possible.

I am working on the next commentary, although, reasonably speaking, it might be until Monday, November 23, 2020, the Feast of Pope Saint Clement, before it can be completed and posed.

As noted yesterday, any and all non tax-deductible financial gifts would be very helpful at this time. Thank you.

Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus, part seven

The title is self-explanatory as the hour is as late as this commentary is long.

A commentary about the always continuing follies of conciliarism will appear in a few days.

In the meantime, however, the need for non-tax-deductible financial gifts continues to be crucial right now. Please consider making such a gift today! (Also see: Donations).

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saints Peter and Paul, pray for us.

Republished: Saint Josaphat Kuncewicz Did What Conciliarism Forbids

This is a republished reflection on the life and martrydom of Saint Josaphat Kuncewicz, whose feast is celebrated today.

Saint Jospahat Kuncewicz did what conciliarism forbids, namely, seeking the conversion of the heretical and schismatic Orthodox to the Catholic Church, she who is the one and only true Church founded by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ upon the Rock of Peter, the Pope.

The current pretender in Rome has carried on the conciliar "tradition" of claiming that the Orthodox churches are simply a branch of "Christianity." This brief reflection refutes that false contention. Indeed, the very life of Saint Jospahat Kuncewicz is a refutation of that false contention.

Although I have been busy writing election-themed commentaries, have started initial work on “Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus, part seven,” and will return to a book project that will comprise perhaps as many as sixteen volumes of selected commentaries about conciliarism from 2006 to 2020, I am not unaware of some of the news in the world of the fake, phony, fraud entity that has been referred to as the counterfeit church of conciliarism dating back to 2006, I am aware of several important developments in the never-never land of conciliarism, starting with the starting with the McCarrick Report.

While I will not be writing about the McCarrick Report for another three weeks or so, I do want to provide the few people who access this site regularly with a link to an article by Mrs. Randy Engel on what was omitted from the McCarrick Report. Please see The “Uncle Teddy” McCarrick Case. An article of my own from around twenty-seven months ago, "Uncle Teddy" McCarrick and the Conciliar Cesspool of Corruption, and one from ten and one-half years ago,  "Canonizing" A Man Who Protected Moral Derelicts, might also be timely for those interested to re-read and review.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Josaphat Kuncewicz, pray for us.

Be Inspired by Exemplars of Christ the King, Not Agitated by the Side Shows of Naturalism

This is my last election-themed commentary for a while, although I will have plenty to say about Joseph Robinette Biden's plans to lock us down and to mask us up if he does prevail in the quadrennial farce whose results this year were "baked" into the software so as to prevent a repeat of the "accident" that happened on November 8, 2016, in "Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus, part seven," in about five days.

This commentary was published without pressing the "Full HTML" button, thus resulting in garbled gibberish until a few hours ago as it was published most inadvertently in a "Filtered HTML" format. I apologize for the error and resulting confusion! Mea culpa.

"Admirable" Men? Willard Mitt Romney and Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.

I will have another election-themed commentary in a few days about the spectacle of the same mainslime media outlets that held back from placing the States of Michigan and Wisconsin in the “win” column for President Donald John Trump four years ago falling all over themselves now to do the precise opposite to make it impossible in political terms for anyone, including a majority of justices on the Supreme Court of the United States of America, to demand a full accounting of vote count “irregularities” and actual vote count fraud. The coup d’etat is being finished by means of a fait accompli.

Anyhow, as Willard Mitt Romney has now called the pro-abortion, pro-perversity Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., and his equally rabid pro-abortion, pro-perversity wife, Dr. Jill Biden, people of “admirable” character, I thought that it would appropriate to review some of the media’s anointed “president-elect’s” admirable" record, which compares very favorably to that of Romney’s itself.

Christ the King Is Still Sovereign Over Men and Their Nations No Matter Who Wins Elections

[This commentary was updated and slightly revised on Friday, November 6, 2020. Thank you.]

The votes are still being counted/manufactured/manipulated/invented.

However, I want to remind the few readers of this site that Christ the King is still the sovereign of men and their nations no matter who wins elections and no matter if they do not understand this truth until they meet Him face to face at the Particular Judgment.

There is a great deal of history in this commentary about the fabled place of election fraud in American history and a discussion of what is known now about the current mess of naturalism.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

All the Saints, pray for us.

Naturally Absurd, part four

[Thursday, November 5, 2020, Update at Midnight. It was not possible to complete the commentary about the election, whose results are being manufactured and manipulated as this is written. Suffice it to say for the moment, that the election, though as close as it was in 2016, is being stolen by the same cadre of elitists who cooked up the "Russian collusion" narrative. It's all pretty brazen. Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley had the good sense to manufacture votes for John Fitzgerald Kennedy sixty years ago from dead voters out of sight of public view as Lyndon Baines Johnson did the same in Texas. Vice President Richard Milhous Nixon was robbed then and it is President Donald John Trump's turn to be robbed now. Then again, the Judeo-Masonic farce of elections is based upon the sovereignty of the "people" and not Christ the King, paving the way wide open what Pope Pius XI described as follows in Ubi Arcano Dei Consilio, December 23, 1922:

To these evils we must add the contests between political parties, many of which struggles do not originate in a real difference of opinion concerning the public good or in a laudable and disinterested search for what would best promote the common welfare, but in the desire for power and for the protection of some private interest which inevitably result in injury to the citizens as a whole. From this course there often arise robberies of what belongs rightly to the people, and even conspiracies against and attacks on the supreme authority of the state, as well as on its representatives. These political struggles also beget threats of popular action and, at times, eventuate in open rebellion and other disorders which are all the more deplorable and harmful since they come from a public to whom it has been given, in our modern democratic states, to participate in very large measure in public life and in the affairs of government. Now, these different forms of government are not of themselves contrary to the principles of the Catholic Faith, which can easily be reconciled with any reasonable and just system of government. Such governments, however, are the most exposed to the danger of being overthrown by one faction or another. (Pope Pius XI, Ubi Arcano Dei Consilio, December 23, 1922.)

[To overlook—or to be entirely ignorant—of First and Last Things is to make oneself a prisoner of the conflicts of the moment without understanding that all human problems, bar none, are the result of Original Sin and our own Actual Sins, and that the only way to ameliorate these problems for men to rely upon the teaching authority of Holy Mother Church by cooperating with Sanctifying and Actual Graces. Those who think that there can be some other way to accomplish social order and/or to retard various social evils are not thinking very clearly.]

[Tuesday, November 3, 2020, Update at 11:15 p.m.: As the "flipping" of Arizon by the decrepit Catholic apostate and his rabidly anti-Catholic and fire-breathing pro-baby-killing running mate pretty tells the "tale of the tape," shall we say, I, for one, am shutting down my computer as President Donald John Trump's path to victory at this point, especially when one considers all the "mail-in" votes that are waiting to be manufactured in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan, which Trump must win to defeat the basement dweller from Delaware, is exceedingly narrow. Although I am already working on a commentary that has anticipated the results, I will resume work on it tomorrow, Wednesday, afternoon for posting whenever it is done. An election stalemate, though, is still possible, but Biden only needs thirty-three more electoral votes to the president's need for sixty more.

[In the meantime, just remember that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is still the King of men and their nations even if they do not realize that this is so. Our King has known from all eternity that we would be living in the midst of the circumstances in which we find ourselves, and it thus good to remember that the only "election" that really matters is that which took in the Baptismal font when we were incorporated into the Mystical Body of Christ that is Holy Mother Church and whose results will be made known to us upon the moment of our Particular Judgment. May we, aided by Our Lady's graces and her powerful motherly intecession and protection, hear her Divine Son, Our King, utter these words to us: "Well done, good and faithful servant, because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." (Matthew 25: 21.)

[Viva Cristo Rey!

[Viva La Virgen de Guadalupe!]

As we intend to visit some cemeteries today, the Commemoration of All Souls, I decided to stay up and complete this commentary in time for reading for anyone who desires to tear themselves away from what is probably wall-to-wall pre-election coverage replete with naturalist babbling that goes on ad infinitum, ad nauseam. We do not have television and I do not listen to “talk radio” when driving as I consider our automobile to be a sort of mobile hermitage wherein I can pray my prayers for the living and deceased.

There will be another commentary in a few days.

There have been several new (and republished) commentaries in the past week. Please scroll below for those.

As noted yesterday, the  Ordering Dr. Droleskey’s Books page now includes links to each of the eight books of mine that have published within the last eleven months.

Second, the Donations page has been updated for the first time in forty-three months as there is a need for non-tax-deductible financial gifts of any amount.

Third, the Articles Archive page has been updated for the first time since March of 2017.

Continue to Make Friends of the Poor Souls

Our one and only goal in this life is to get home to Heaven by dying in a state of Sanctifying Grace as a member of the Catholic Church. Absolutely nothing else matters. The path to Heaven runs through the Cross of our Divine Redeemer, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, as we consecrate ourselves to Him totally through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of His Most Blessed Mother. We must embrace suffering and humiliation and hardship with equanimity, joy and gratitude, mindful of the fact that Our Lady desires use whatever merits we earn from our embrace of our sufferings for the honor and glory of the Most Blessed Trinity and for the good of souls, especially the Poor Souls in the Church Suffering in Purgatory, whose intentions we must remember every day and especially during this month of November. There is no other path to the triumph of the empty tomb other than the suffering of the Cross.

We must also forgive right readily those who have offended us in any way and to ask forgiveness from those whom we have offended, whether advertently or inadvertently. Nothing anyone does to us or says about us is the equal of what one of our least Venial Sins caused Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to suffer in His Sacred Humanity during his Passion and Death and that caused His Most Blessed Mother's Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart to be pierced through and through with Seven Swords of Sorrow. The good, the bad and the ugly of ever person's life is revealed only on the Last Day at the General Judgment of the living and the dead. Let us be content to bear with suffering, humiliation, ostracism and mockery now as a means of so dying to self that we will consider it to be a great honor to be crushed and brought low in the sight of men. Suffering is indeed the path to triumph!

We must continue to pray for each other on a daily basis, praying especially that the disagreements of the present moment in this time of apostasy and betrayal will be washed away by the merits of the Most Precious Blood of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and by the maternal intercession of His Most Blessed Mother. If we want to be in Heaven for all eternity, you see, in the presence of the Most Blessed Trinity, Our Lady, Saint Joseph and all of the angels of the saints, then it is a pretty good idea to pray for everyone whom God's Providence has placed in our paths, hoping that those from whom we might be estranged at the present time, especially because of the divisions among Catholics created by conciliarism and its apostasies, will be united with us for all eternity in the glories of Heaven, please God that each of us dies in a state of Sanctifying Grace.

One of ways in which we can practice true Charity is to remember the Poor Souls every day in our prayers. Terrible, terrible sinner that I am, one of my devotions has long been to the Poor Souls. To help the Poor Souls repay the debt that they can no longer pay for themselves is to acquire friends for eternity who will help us at the moment of our own deaths. Charity to the Poor Souls can help to undo our own uncharity to others in this passing, mortal vale of tears. This is indeed the month of the Poor Souls. Let us show them our due attention each and every day of the year, especially in this month of November.

Remember, of course, that from noon yesterday, Sunday, November 1, 2020,  through midnight today, November 2, 2020, the Commemoration of All Souls, the Catholic faithful, as often as they visit a church or to pray for the dead, reciting six times during each visit the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be for the intentions of Holy Mother Church may gain a plenary indulgence applicable only to the souls in Purgatory, under the usual conditions of making a good Confession within a week before or after, worthily receiving Holy Communion within the week and having the right intention of heart. This is called the Toties Quoties Indulgence.

Also, courtesy of the Daily Catholic website, are the Thirty-Day De Profundis Prayers for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Finally, I am trying to finish up work on "Naturally Absurd, part four," but may be unable to do so given the late hour. Please also note the request for donations made with yesterday's posting and that an update to the Donations was made yesterday. Thank you.

Modernity's Ship of Fools, Including Emmanuel Macron

This commentary is about the recent terrorist attacks in France that have been committed by believing, faithful Mohammedans to “avenge” their false “prophet” and to kill “infidels,” namely Catholics who were attending what they thought was Holy Mass in the Basilica of Notre Dame in Nice, France.

“Naturally Absurd,” part four, should appear by election day, November 3, 2020.

Now, there are three housekeeping matters about which to inform you.

First, the  Ordering Dr. Droleskey’s Books page now includes links to each of the eight books of mine that have published within the last eleven months.

An original article will be published within ninety mintues of this posting.

Finally, the next original article for this site is nearing completion. Although I am working on getting out a series of anthologies of my spiritual/liturgical reflections, I will continue to write as time and my own physical ability, which on some days is limited because of the chronically deteriorated state of my lower spine, permit. Thank you.

A blessed All Saints Day to you all!
