"A Council of the Devil is Taking Place in Rome Now"

This article is very brief. Its intriguing title comes fron a quotation of what a Brazilian bishop, Bishop Jose Mauricio de Rocha, told the priests of his diocese when he had returned from the first session of the "Second" Vatican Council before it had ended.

There are several other comnentaries in the works. As the first of two cataract removal surgeries takes place tomorrow, Novenber 28, 2023, and requires my presence at an ambulatory surgery center by six o'clock in the morning, I will need to retire from work early today, the Feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, and probably won't be able to get the next article completed until Thursday. Thank you.

In Ways That Continue to Baffle the Minds of Modern Men

The date of November 27 is the Feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, although not on the universal General Roman Calendar, can be celebrated if not otherwise impeded as was the case yesterday.

This is a republished reflection on the story of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal that was written originally in 2010 and revised substantially eight years ago. I offer today for those who would like to have a refresher course on the history of this feast, which, of course, centers on Our Lady as the Mediatrix of All Graces.

Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, pray for us.

Saint Catherine Laboure, pray for  us.

Saint Catherine of Alexandria Preferred Death Rather Adore Idols

As I have busy preparing the next original commentary, I simply forgot to republish my annual reflection about Saint Catherine of Alexandria, whose feast was yesterday, Saturday, November 25, 2023.

The new commentary should appear in about twenty-four hours in addition to my annual reflection about Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Sylvseter the Abbot, pray for us.

Saint Catherine of Alexandria, pray for us.

Saint Peter of Alexandria, pray for us.

Adherence to Masonic Principles Forms the Bedrock of Conciliar "Orthodoxy"

With apologies for the weeklong delay between the publication of original articles, I hereby present what has turned out to be a fairly lengthy commentary about the so-called Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith’s reiteration of the incompatibility between Catholic membership in Masonic lodges and the Catholic Faith. The only little problem with this is that the conciliar sect’s entire ethos is Judeo-Masonic from top to bottom.

I hope to have another original commentary to be posted in two or three days.

A republished reflection about Saint John of the Cross was posted a short while before this new commentary.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint John of the Cross, pray for us.

Saint Chrysogonus, pray for us.

On the Feast of Saint John of the Cross, Who Suffered Injustice with Patience and Gratitude

This reflection on the life of Saint John of the Cross was written for and published in To Live in Light of Eternity, Volume 6, and is being offered to readers of this site for the third time.

As today, November 24, 2023, is my seventy-second birthday, I ask prayers for the repose of the souls of my late parents, Dr. Albert Henry Martin Droleskey and Mrs. Norma Florence Red Fox Droleskey. Thank you.

Our Lady of he Rosary, pray for us.

Saint John of the Cross, pray for us.

Pope Saint Clement I: No One Can Disobey a True Pope Without Disobeying God Himself

This is a republished reflection about Pope Saint Clement that includes the following passage from Dom Prosper Gueranger's The Liturgical Year:

With only one exception, all of the documents which attest Clement's intervention in the affairs of distant churches have perished with time; but the one that remains shows us in full action the monarchical power of the bishop of Rome at that primitive epoch. The church of Corinth was disturbed with intestine quarrels caused by jealously against certain pastors. These divisions, the germ of which had appeared even in St. Paul's time, had destroyed all peace, and were causing scandal to the very pagans. The Corinthians at last felt the necessity of putting an end to a disorder which might be prejudicial to the extension of the Christian faith; and for this purpose it was requisite to seek assistance from outside. The apostle had all departed this life, except St. John, who was still the light of the Church. It was not great distance from Corinth to Ephesus where the apostle resided: yet it was not to Ephesus but to Rome that the church of Corinth turned. Clement examined the case referred to his judgment by that church, and sent to Corinth five commissaries to represent the Apostolic See. They were bearers of a letter, which St. Irenaeus calls potentissimas litteras. It was considered at the time so beautiful and so apostolic, that it was long read in many churches as a sort of continuation of the canonical Scriptures. Its tone is dignified but paternal, according to St. Peter's advice to pastors. There is nothing in it of a domineering spirit; but the grave and solemn language bespeaks the universal pastor, whom none can disobey without disobeying God Himself. These words so solemn and so firm wrought the desired effect: peace was re-established in the church of Corinth, and the messengers of the Roman Pontiff soon brought back the happy news. A century later, St. Dionysius, bishop of Corinth, expressed to Pope St. Soter the gratitude still felt by his flock towards Clement for the service he had rendered. (Dom Prosper Gueranger, O.S.B., The Liturgical Year.)

Dom Prosper Gueranger, O.S.B,, understood that there was and can never be such thing as "resistance" to a true and legitimate Successor of Saint Peter.

Saint Cecilia: Valiant Model of Holy Purity and Unwavering Catholic Fidelity

This is a very brief, republished reflection on the heroic virtues of Saint Ceclia, whose feast is celebrated today, November 22, 2024.

Work is progressing on my next original commentary, which I expect to have published on Friday, November 24, 2023, the Feast of Saint John of theCross and the Commemoraion of Saint Chrysogonus.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Cecilia, pray for us.

On the Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (2023)

Today Tuesday November 21, 2023, js the Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary is made secondarily. This is a short reflection on the feast day, which is followed by an appendix including the description of the Presentation of Our Lady as found in The New English Edition of The Mystical City of God.

Finally, please pray for a former student of mine who turns fifty-six years of age today and for a friend of ours on Long Island who turns seventy-five of age today. Thank you. (Yesterday, November 20, 2023, the Feast of Saint Felix of Valois, was the thirteenth anniversary of the death of a classmate from Saint Aloysius School, Great Neck, New York, Miss Elizabeth Loretta Ehrbar, about whom I wrote in 2012 after I found out that she had died two years before:"Why Not Me?".)

I continue to suffer from the penitential afflictions caused by severe rotary scoliosis. I am working on the next original commentary. However, there are limts to how I can sit, thus interrupting work more than would be the case otherwise. Thank you for your patience. I will post the next original commentary as soon as I complete it.

Our Lady, Ark of the New Covenant, pray for us.

Saints Joachim and Anne, pray for us.

On the [Commemorated] Feast of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, A Royal Woman Who Embraced Suffering at the Hands of Her Own Family

This is a republished reflection on the suffering endured by the very first member of the Third Order of Saint Francis of Assisi, Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, who suffered much at the hands of her family members and even at the hands of the poor whose welfare she provided so generously when her husband, Louis, was the Landgrieve of Thuringia.

Work on the next original article is being impeded by excruciating pain in my lower lumbar spine caused by severe rotary scoliosis, meaning my spine curves sideways at more than a forty degree angle on the Cobb scale of measuring spinal curvature. This is superb and very richly deserved penance, which I accept with joy and gratitude as means to glorify the Most Holy Trinity and to make a bit of small reparation for my sins by offering up this penance to the throne of the Most Holy Trinity as the consecrated slave of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Bear with me, good readers. I will try to work some more on the next original article today and will post it as soon as I can. I have another one to complete thereafter. Prayers would be appreciated at this time.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, pray for us.

Pope Saint Pontianus I, pray for us.

Updated: Jorge Mario Bergoglio and Christopher Pierre: Certified Agents of Antichrist's Operation of Error

My discussion of the Freemasonic ethos that is suffused within the counterfeit church of conciliarism must wait for another day or so as the news that Christophe Pierre told the since deposed "Bishop" Joseph Strickland three years ago that he had to stop talking about the Deposit of Faith as there is no such deposit requires a bit of attention in what is, at least by my standards, a rather brief and to the point commentary.

The assertion that Christophe Pierre told "Bishop" Strickland that there is no "deposit of faith" was made by Mr. Terry Barber, whom I met twenty-eight years ago when on one of my national speaking tours for The Wanderer, who has said that the former conciliar "bishop" of Tyler, Texas, had made this sttatement to him three years ago alnost immediately after Pierre had spoken to Strickland. Now, however, the ecclesiologically confused Joseph Strickland is claiming that Pierre did not say exactly that, only that he, Strickland, had to "get with the program."

As documented in a very effective timeline of Joseph Strickland's inconsistent and sometimes contradictory posts about "Pope Francis" and his thoroughly confused ecclesiology found at The Traditional Evolution of Bishop Strickland, the recently sacked Strickland is still a prisoner of conciliarism. As I have pointed out so many times recently, one cannot claim to be a defender of the Holy Faith when one accepts the conciliar inversion of the ends proper to Holy Matrimony and the enitre panoply of falsehoods concerning the "right to resist" heretical "popes."

Finally, I have added material from an commentary of mine eight years ago discussing Jorge Mario Bergoglio's deconstruction of the Deposit of Faith's meaning to amplify the credibility of the remarks attributed to Christophe Pierre three years ago by Terry Barber after he spoken to "Bishop" Strickland.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.
