Silence In The Face of Advancing Evils

There is little to add in this article that has was not covered yesterday in Abiding Biden And His Counsel. The only thing "new" is the hardly earthshaking news that the penultimate, quintessential relativist, Barack Hussein Obama (aka Barry Soetero), has now reached the end of the "evolution" of his views on "marriage" between persons of the same gender. The only surprise, if any, is the timing of the announcement, which was more or less forced by the interview with the pro-abortion, pro-perversity Catholic Vice President of the United States of America, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. That's the only element of "surprise" in the announcement.
We live in a country where each of the four evils that cry out to Heaven for vengeance have been or are being enshrined under cover of the civil law.
Perhaps it would be good to review how this is so.
1. Willful murder:
Over four thousand babies are killed under cover of the civil law by
means of surgical abortions each and every day. Thousands more are
killed by means of chemical abortifacients. Unknown numbers of living
human beings are dissected for their body parts under the false slogans
of "brain death" and "organ donation." (See Triumph of the Body Snatchers, Dr. Paul Byrne on Brain Death.)
Others are starved and dehydrated to death merely because they suffer
from some form of brain damage and are deemed to be "useless," if not a
"drain" n society who can be considered as good as dead, if not actually
dead.
Caesar Barackus Obamus Ignoramus, who is completely
pro-death, assembled a Cabinet and sub-Cabinet in 2009 composed of people
who are almost entirely pro-death. He has issued executive orders that
have resulted in the state-sponsored executions of innocent preborn
babies with American taxpayer dollars. ObamaCare facilitates the murder
of even more babies with American taxpayer dollars. He has the blood of
the innocent dripping on his hands. So do many members of the United
States Senate and the United States House of Representatives.
Pope Pius XI, writing in Casti Connubii,
December 30, 1930, explained that those who facilitate the murder of the
preborn have a terrible reckoning awaiting them at the moment of their
Particular Judgments:
Those who hold the reins of government should not forget that it
is the duty of public authority by appropriate laws and sanctions to
defend the lives of the innocent, and this all the more so since those
whose lives are endangered and assailed cannot defend themselves. Among
whom we must mention in the first place infants hidden in the mother's
womb. And if the public magistrates not only do not defend them, but
by their laws and ordinances betray them to death at the hands of
doctors or of others, let them remember that God is the Judge and
Avenger of innocent blood which cried from earth to Heaven.
2. The Sin of Sodom:
Perverse acts in violation of the Sixth and Ninth Commandments and the
binding precepts of the Natural Law are promoted with reckless
abandonment under cover of the civil law and in practically every
segment of "popular culture." Perversity has been "mainstreamed" as a
civil right according to various slogans, including "compassion,"
"diversity, "tolerance," and "love." Six states (Connecticut, Iowa,
Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont) permit those engaged in the
Sin of Sodom to get "married." The law permitting such "marriage" in the State of California was overturned in a voter referendum on Tuesday, November 4, 2008, but remains in the courts after the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in California overturned that referendum, Proposition 8, on February 7, 2012. A similar law in Maryland that had been passed at the behest of the pro-abortion, pro-perversity governor of the state, Martin O'Malley, will be challenged in a voter referendum on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.
Five state have "civil union" laws, that permit those who are committing perverse
sins with other, thereby demonstrating that they do not truly love each
other as they are engaged in sins that impede the salvation of their
immortal souls, to be granted "civil union" status. They are: Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, New Jersey, Oregon and Rhode Island. Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, Washington and Wisconsin). "Domestic partnership" laws are on the books in California, Colorado, Oregon and Wisconsin.
Although it is unlikely that the United States Congress as presently constituted would approve of any Constitutional amendment on the matter to be sent to the states for ratification, Caesar Barackus Obamus Ignoramus did sign a
"presidential memorandum" on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, to provide
"domestic partnership" benefits to all Federal workers:
President Barack Obama signed a memorandum on Wednesday formally extending benefits to federal employees in same-sex couples.
After a year of review, the president officially
extended benefits to federal employees in domestic partnerships in one
of the most high-profile moves to expand gay and lesbian rights.
"That process has now concluded, and I am proud to
announce that earlier today, I signed a Memorandum that requires
Executive agencies to take immediate action to extend to the same-sex
domestic partners of Federal employees a number of meaningful benefits,
from family assistance services to hardship transfers to relocation
expenses," Obama said late Wednesday in a statement. "It also requires
agencies that extend any new benefits to employees’ opposite-sex spouses
to make those benefits available on equal terms to employees’ same-sex
domestic partners to the extent permitted by law."
The president said, however, that existing federal
law didn't go far enough to extend rights for same-sex couples, and
renewed his call on Congress to pass the Domestic Partnership Benefits
and Obligations Act. (Obama orders extension of benefits.)
President Barack Hussein Obama will now use the "bully pulpit" of the presidency to advance his support for "gay marriage." Here was his opening salvo yesterday, Wednesday, May 9, 2012, given in an interview with Robyn Roberts of the American Broadcasting Company:
I have to tell you, as I said I've been going through an evolution of
this issue. I've always been adamant that gay and lesbian Americans
should be treated fairly and equally.
And that's why in addition to everything we've done in this
administration, rolling back 'Don't Ask Don't Tell', so that outstanding
Americans can serve our country whether it's not longer defending the
Defense Against Marriage Act which tried to federalize what is
historically been state law. I've stood on the side of broader equality
for the LGBT community and I had hesitated on gay marriage in part
because I thought civil unions would be sufficient ... that it would
give people hospital visitation rights and other elements we take for
granted. And I was sensitive to the fact that for a lot of people the
word 'marriage' was something that evokes very powerful traditions,
religions beliefs and so forth.
But I have to tell you that over the course of several years as I have
talked to friends and family and neighbors when I think about members of
my own staff who are in incredibly committed monogamous relationships,
same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together, when I think
about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there
fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained, even now that 'Don't Ask
Don't Tell' is gone, because they are not able to commit themselves in a
marriage, at a certain point I've just concluded that for me personally
it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex

Yeah, man, like, there are powerful traditions, "religious beliefs and so forth." Like wow, man. Deep. Profound. It's deep all right. Deep into the the abyss, that's how "deep" this garbage is.
The Golden Rule. Uh, consider these words of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ about the fate of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah:
[11] And into whatsoever city or town you shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and there abide till you go thence. [12] And when you come into the house, salute it, saying: Peace be to this house. [13] And if that house be worthy, your peace shall come upon it; but if it be not worthy, your peace shall return to you. [14] And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words: going forth
out of that house or city shake off the dust from your feet. [15] Amen I say to you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. [Matthew 10:15]
Hello, Mister President, perhaps you or your TelePrompTer don't realize this: It is sin that caused the God-Man to suffer and die on the wood of the Cross to redeem us sinful men, to make it it possible for us to cooperate with the graces He won for us as He shed every single drop of His Most Blessed Mother to quit our sins and to reform our lives once and for all. Accepting sin, the very thing that rupture man's relationship with God in the Garden of Eden and introduced disorder even into the elements of the natural world, as the foundation of human self-identity and protecting its exercise under cover of the civil law is itself sinful and thus injurious to the common temporal good, which must be pursued in light of man's Last End, the possession of the glory of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost for all eternity in Heaven.
How do Catholics speak to sinners? How did Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ speak to sinners whilst He walk the face of the earth?
Our Lord did not reaffirm Saint Mary
Magdalene in her sin of adultery. He did not applaud her. He did not
excuse the gravity of violating the Sixth Commandment. He did not
explain away her sin by saying that she was genetically-predisposed to
commit it or that it was "impossible" for her to keep from committing
it. Our Lord, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity made Man in His
Most Blessed Mother's Virginal and Immaculate Womb by the power of the
Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, said the
following to her:
Go, and now sin no more. (John 8: 11.)
Our Lord told His friend from
Bethany to reform her life, to quit her sins once and for all. He tells us,
each of whom is a sinner (and I am one of the worst and most miserable,
truth be told) the same thing in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance as we
resolve to
amend our lives as we pray the Act of Contrition as a true priest
administers Absolution upon our immortal souls, thereby applying the
merits His own Most Precious Blood upon them.
Actually, Obama's "views" on "marriage" between persons of the same gender engaged in unnatural acts of vice against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments were not "evolving" as much as they were being "adjusted" from time to time in light of political needs. Consider the timeline of these "adjustments" as found on the "conservative" Red State website:
Many are reporting that this is the first time Obama has admitted his
support for gay marriage. That is incorrect. During his 1996 run for
Illinois state Senate, Obama admitted his support for gay marriage in a written response to a questionnaire from Chicago’s gay newspaper Outlines:
“I favor legalizing same-sex marriages, and would fight efforts to prohibit such marriages.”
Since then, and until today’s admission Obama has been, well, nuanced. In true John Kerry fashion:
Obama's "settled" position, announced yesterday, does carry some political risk. However, it's just a little less than six months prior to the election on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Memories fade. After all, it's the money, the money and the money that matters to most voters in our farce of an electoral system, which had to decay to this point because of its false, naturalistic, anti-Incarnational, religiously indifferentist and semi-Pelagian nature.
Looking for help from Willard Mitt Romney on this issue?
Well, Romney refused to comment "off the cuff" on a rope line about the issue, waiting until later yesterday, Wednesday, May 9, 2012, to issue a very carefully measured statement that will satisfy no one, certainly not his "conservative" base:
FORT LUPTON, Colo. – Mitt Romney’s view on same-sex marriage isn’t
evolving at all. He told a local reporter here today that domestic
partnership benefits — including hospital visitation rights– are
“appropriate, but that the others are not.”
“Well when these issues were raised in my state of Massachusetts, I
indicated my view, which is I do not favor marriage between people of
the same gender, and I do not favor civil unions if they are identical
to marriage other than by name,” Romney told a Fox News affiliate,
KDVR-TV, in an interview before a campaign event, his first in the state
since he lost the GOP state primary in February.
A bill that would have allowed civil unions for same-sex couples in Colorado died in the legislature late Tuesday night.
Romney declined to discuss his position on same-sex marriage to
traveling reporters here, who asked about the issue several times on the
rope line following an event that was focused on his energy policies.
When one reporter asked if he had any comment on the administration
and gay marriage, which during recent days has seen Vice President Vice
President Joe Biden and Education Secretary Arne Duncan endorse gay
marriage and has led the administration to defend the president’s
position as “still evolving” when it comes to gay marriage, Romney
wouldn’t answer.
“Not on the rope line,” Romney said, before grabbing a Romney for President poster to sign for a supporter. (Romney's View on Gay Marriage Not Evolving.)
No, "not on the rope line." "Domestic partnership benefits" are "appropriate," but "civil unions" and "marriage" for those engaged in unnatural acts of vice are not. What is this man doing? Auditioning to be the first Mormon who serves as a "bishop" in the counterfeit church of concilairism. That's some leadership there, isn't it?
What a farce. What a complete and total farce.
No word about the law of God, just a discussion of "views" and "perspectives," reducing the issue to one of subjectivism rather than a clear defense of what exists in the nature of things and has been entrusted by Him to His Holy Church to be preserved from all corruption until the end of time.
What happened to the cities Sodom and Gomorrah?
And he said to him: Behold also in this, I have
heard thy prayers, not to destroy the city for which thou hast spoken.
Make haste and be saved there, because I cannot do any thing till thou
go in thither. Therefore the name of that city was called Segor. The sun
was risen upon the earth, and Lot entered into Segor. And the Lord
rained upon Sodom and Gomorrha brimstone and fire from the Lord out of
heaven. And he destroyed these cities, and all the country about, all
the inhabitants of the cities, and all things that spring from the
earth.
And his wife looking behind her, was turned into a
statue of salt. And Abraham got up early in the morning and in the
place where he had stood before with the Lord, He looked towards Sodom
and Gomorrha, and the whole land of that country: and he saw the ashes
rise up from the earth as the smoke of a furnace. Now when God destroyed
the cities of that country, remembering Abraham, he delivered Lot out
of the destruction of the cities wherein he had dwelt. (Genesis 19:

You think that the chastisements up until now have been bad? Just wait. Just wait. Far worse is yet to come. And you are not going to be able to vote your way out of them.
3. Defrauding the Widow (Oppressing the Poor):
Our entire economic system is built upon the exploitation of the poor
by means of what are now multinational corporations engaging in ancient
practices of deception that our wrapped up in the glittering of
contemporary advertising and internet pop-up windows and spam e-mails.
People steeped in a culture of an unbridled materialism that is but the
logical issue of naturalism are exhorted by all manner of psychological
ploys to purchase products and goods that they do not need, products and
goods that are manufactured, at least for the most part, in Red China
under unsafe working conditions by workers who are paid substandard
wages.
Many of these products and goods are defective and
contain various contaminants that can ruin the health of those who
purchase them and/or despoil the environment needlessly. Advertisers
always seek to create a "need" for products and goods and services that
consumers are not looking to purchase. Who cares if a little of the old
"snake oil" methods of the traveling salesman promising a bald man that
he can put hair back on top of his head if only he buys a worthless
bottle of liquid are being used in more sophisticated means today? Those
who sell products want to part people from their money, encouraging
them to go into debt in order to do so, at which point those trapped in a
cycle of poverty or relative material deprivation are impoverished the
more by usurious rates of interest, forcing many into bankruptcy or a
sense of total despair.
We have also been the victims of monumental fraud
practiced by all three levels of government in the United States of
America as the coercive power of the civil state continues confiscates
our wealth in order to feed Caesar's bloat,
further widening the gap between the extremely wealthy and the rest of
us as the monies that are confiscated from us by means of taxation are
used to hire workers to staff offices in bureaucracies with functions
that are in full violation of the terms of the Constitution of the
United States Constitution and are in many instances open violate the
binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law. The
average citizen has less means to exercise his legitimate freedom in
accord with those binding precepts the more that his very livelihood is
taken from him by government to fund programs (and wars) that are
needless, wasteful, duplicative and often completely immoral.
4. Withholding Wages from the Day Laborer:
So many employers, especially the multinational corporations, treat
their employees as nothing more than a means to worship at the alter of
the god of profit, a great deal of which is derived from the usurious
interest rates mentioned just above. One of the means to maximize profit
is to depress the salaries or wages paid to the employees whose
physical labor and/or intellectual labor actually produce or makes
possible the goods and services to be sold to the public while senior
executives, most of whom do nothing at all to produce what is sold, make
hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars in salaries, making
it nearly impossible to pay a true living wage to the people who
actually do the work that lines their own pockets with profit money.
Silly me. I forgot. "The market" determines all of
this, not greed or a callous concern for the immutable Catholic doctrine
of the living wage that requires employers to pay a man enough money so
that he is able to support his wife and children without forcing his
wife to go to work to help support the family. Well, the false god of
"the market," guided by that nonexistent "invisible hand" (see A Really Invisible Hand)
has prompted many employers to hire workers on a part-time basis in
order to deprive them of benefits that are provided to full-time
workers. I know about this first-hand as I had to scramble to make ends
meet teaching as an adjunct professor, sometimes at three different
institutions simultaneously, in the 1990s. There was one period from
July of 1993 through August of 1994 in which I had taught eighteen
courses as an adjunct professor, making a sum total of $30,000 in the
process. As a colleague of mine noted at the time, "Tom, that was a hard
$30,000 to make. You took every course offered to you." Yes, I
did--and not only because I love to teach; I had to take every course
offered me in order to make my rent and to pay my bills. (There is no
such work available today, although I continue to apply for both full
and part time employment in my field.)
Many are the cases of today of professional employees
who, as they approach their mid-fifties, are terminated from their
employment on a full-time basis in order to hire younger, less
experienced workers for less money. Some of these older workers are
offered "contract" work as consultants after being terminated, which is a
way of having them train their replacements while being paid a fraction
of what they had been earning. And this is to say nothing of the harm
that has been done to American workers by the outsourcing of their jobs
to foreign countries, especially to Red China and other countries in
Asia, and the harm that has been done to entire communities as factories
have been shut down in favor of foreign operations. It is the teaching
of the Catholic Church that employers do indeed owe their employees and
the communities in which they work a loyalty that transcends the
"bottom line" and which, if given, would only enhance that "bottom line"
now and, of course, for all eternity when their face the moment of
their own Particular Judgments.
Mind you, the paragraphs above have sought to
summarize the promotion of the four sins that cry out to Heaven for
vengeance. Many others, of course, are the sins that are promoted on a
regular basis under the cover of civil law and throughout the various
means of mass communication, especially sins against the virtues of
purity and modesty. The false notions of "freedom of speech" and
"freedom of press" have allowed every error to pollute the souls of
Catholics and non-Catholics alike, fulfilling the famous prophecy of
Pope Gregory XVI in Mirari Vos, August 15, 1832:
This shameful font of indifferentism gives rise to
that absurd and erroneous proposition which claims that liberty of
conscience must be maintained for everyone. It spreads ruin in
sacred and civil affairs, though some repeat over and over again with
the greatest impudence that some advantage accrues to religion from it.
"But the death of the soul is worse than freedom of error," as Augustine
was wont to say. When all restraints are removed by which men are kept
on the narrow path of truth, their nature, which is already inclined to
evil, propels them to ruin. Then truly "the bottomless pit" is open from
which John saw smoke ascending which obscured the sun, and out of which
locusts flew forth to devastate the earth. Thence comes transformation
of minds, corruption of youths, contempt of sacred things and holy laws
-- in other words, a pestilence more deadly to the state than any other.
Experience shows, even from earliest times, that cities renowned for
wealth, dominion, and glory perished as a result of this single evil,
namely immoderate freedom of opinion, license of free speech, and desire
for novelty.
Here We must include that harmful and never
sufficiently denounced freedom to publish any writings whatever and
disseminate them to the people, which some dare to demand and promote
with so great a clamor. We are horrified to see what monstrous doctrines
and prodigious errors are disseminated far and wide in countless books,
pamphlets, and other writings which, though small in weight, are very
great in malice. We are in tears at the abuse which proceeds from them
over the face of the earth. Some are so carried away that they
contentiously assert that the flock of errors arising from them is
sufficiently compensated by the publication of some book which defends
religion and truth. Every law condemns deliberately doing evil simply
because there is some hope that good may result. Is there any sane man
who would say poison ought to be distributed, sold publicly, stored, and
even drunk because some antidote is available and those who use it may
be snatched from death again and again? (Pope Gregory XVI, Mirari Vos, August 15, 1832.)
Lost souls are to be found
everyone, confused by the ethos of Modernity in the world and bewildered
or reprogrammed by the those of Modernism in the counterfeit church of
conciliarism into believing that God does not care about what people
think or what how they act as long as they are "good" and "loving"
people.
This state of affairs has come to pass because there has been an almost complete loss of the sensus Catholicus among
the lion's share of Catholics who are attached to the structures of the
counterfeit church of conciliarism, most of whom accept sloganeering
and appeals to sentimentality quite willingly as worthy substitutes for a
humble and docile submission to the binding precepts of the Divine
Positive Law and the Natural Law as they have been entrusted by Our
Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to His Catholic Church for their
eternal safekeeping and infallible explication. We have millions upon
millions of little "popes" and "popessas" running around thinking that
they are "good Catholics" who have "compassion" for those who simply
have a "different lifestyle" than they do.
The loss of the sensus Catholicus, a phenomenon that was treated briefly two years ago now in Distracting Us With More Side Shows, part three,
has been hastened also by the fact that a culture friendly to
unrepentant acts of perversion and an entirely phony category of human
self-identification based upon an attraction to and/or persistence in
such perverted acts has been fostered by many, although far from all,
clergy in the "hierarchy" and the presbyterate of the counterfeit church
of conciliarism. It is this "homophile" culture that makes it so difficult for Catholics to think clearly, if at all, on matters that are only "on the table" for discussion because of the the Protestant Revolution against the Divine Plan that God Himself instituted to effect man's return to Him through the Catholic Church and the subsequent rise of all of the varied naturalist philosophies and ideologies that can be referred to as Judeo-Masonry (for a brief explanation of what this term means, please see the appendix below). And this "homophile" culture has been fostered by the whole ambiance of the liturgy, art, architecture and music found throughout the conciliar structures.
It is no wonder, therefore, that there is utter silence from the conciliar "archbishop" of Washington, District of Columbia, Donald "Cardinal" Wuerl, one of the most lavender-friendly of a lavender-friendly conciliar "hierarchy" that even employs the terms "gay" and "LGBT" to permit people to identify themselves proudly as "dignified" participants in the sin of Sodom, in the wake of Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.'s, support for "marriage" even though he, Biden, goes to the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo liturgical service within his archdiocese.
Silence is all we hear from the conciliar "bishops," who might issue one of their typical "defense of marriage" statements that was discussed in yesterday's commentary.
Conciliar officials and their affiliated organizations are not silent, however, when it comes to praising the promotion of abnormality and indecency under cover of the civil law and in the midst of popular culture, especially in television and motion pictures that capture the minds of viewers as they passively surrender themselves under the new class of "high priests and priestesses" who communicate their "magisterial truths" about what to "think" about ":evolving" moral issues:

- A sitcom featuring a gay couple and their adopted daughter was
honored last week by Catholics in Media (CIMA), a group which purports
to recognize movies and television shows that “[make] clearer the Word
of God” and “help us better understand what it is to be part of the
human family.”
The organization presented its annual Television Award to Paul
Corrigan and Brad Walsh, executive producers of the popular ABC show
“Modern Family,” at an Awards Brunch held April 29th at the Beverly
Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.
Corrigan and Walsh’s comedy show about divorced and remarried Jay
Pritchett and the families of his two adult children has won 11 Emmy
awards.
The gay couple on the show, Mitchell Pritchett and his partner
Cameron, are the “fathers” of an adopted Chinese girl named Lily. In one
controversial episode, two-year-old Lily, played by child actress
Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, appears to use the “F” word. Although another
actor on the show later revealed that she had actually said “fudge,” a
“bleep” sound as she spoke deliberately made it appear as if she had
used profanity.
According to the script from the CIMA awards program, which was
e-mailed to LifeSiteNews, the show reflects “all the shapes, sizes and
variations in today’s non-traditional families,” and demonstrates that
“the cookie cutter mold of man + wife + 2.5 kids is a thing of the
past.” (ABC’s homosexual sitcom ‘Modern Family’ received Catholic media award.)
The conciliar "archbishop" of Los Angeles, California, Jose Horacio Gomez, has been and will continue to be silent about this as there's just too much money and human respect in Tineseltown to lose, you understand. By the way, paying attention, Bishop Fellay?
This silence is yet again another indication that the conciliar "bishops" are simply not members of the Catholic Church as it is the whole body of them, not just a few here and there, who display an almost pathological inability to speak against evil in the terms required by a Successor of the Apostles, whose characteristics were discussed by Pope Pius VI in his first encyclical letter, Inscrutabile, December 25, 1775:
The affair is of the greatest importance since it
concerns the Catholic faith, the purity of the Church, the teaching of
the saints, the peace of the empire, and the safety of nations. Since it
concerns the entire body of the Church, it is a special concern of
yours because you are called to share in Our pastoral concern, and the
purity of the faith is particularly entrusted to your watchfulness. "Now
therefore, Brothers, since you are overseers among God's people and
their soul depends on you, raise their hearts to your utterance," that
they may stand fast in faith and achieve the rest which is prepared for
believers only. Beseech, accuse, correct, rebuke and fear not:
for ill-judged silence leaves in their error those who could be taught,
and this is most harmful both to them and to you who should have
dispelled the error. The holy Church is powerfully refreshed in
the truth as it struggles zealously for the truth. In this divine work
you should not fear either the force or favor of your enemies. The
bishop should not fear since the anointing of the Holy Spirit has
strengthened him: the shepherd should not be afraid since the prince of
pastors has taught him by his own example to despise life itself for the
safety of his flock: the cowardice and depression of the hireling
should not dwell in a bishop's heart. Our great predecessor Gregory, in
instructing the heads of the churches, said with his usual excellence: "Often
imprudent guides in their fear of losing human favor are afraid to
speak the right freely. As the word of truth has it, they guard their
flock not with a shepherd's zeal but as hirelings do, since they flee
when the wolf approaches by hiding themselves in silence....
A shepherd fearing to speak the right is simply a man retreating by keeping silent."
But if the wicked enemy of the human race, the better to frustrate your
efforts, ever brings it about that a plague of epidemic proportions is
hidden from the religious powers of the world, please do not be
terrified but walk in God's house in harmony, with prayer, and in truth,

Silence governs the day in the One World Ecumenical Church, Bishop Fellay. Silence. Then again, you did not say one blessed word in defense of the honor and glory and majesty God when Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI personally esteemed the symbols of five false religions at the John Paul II Cultural Center in Washington, District of Columbia, on Thursday, April 17, 2008. Why should your forthcoming "reception" into the conciliar church make you any less silent than you have become since meeting with Ratzinger/Benedict on August 29, 2005, the Feast of the Beheading of Saint John the Baptist, who just happened to denounce a civil ruler, Herod the Tetrarch, who was involved a bigamous and adulterous "marriage" with his brother's wife.
We must redouble our own efforts in prayer and sacrifice and penance and fasting and mortification to plant the seeds as the consecrated slaves of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary for the restoration of Christendom, praying as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit in reparation for our many sins, each of which has wounded Our Lord once in time and wounds His Church Militant on earth today, and those of the whole world:
We are just three days away from the ninety-fifth anniversary of the first apparition of Our Lady to Francisco and Jacinta Marto and their cousin Lucia dos Santos in the Cova da Iria near Fatima, Portugal.
Francisco Marto spent long hours in church to console the "good God." So must we:
With his sister Jacinta and his cousin Lucia, he had been blessed with three appearances by an Angel, and six by Our Lady.
At his third appearance, the Angel said to these three young shepherd children: "Console your God". These words impressed Francisco very deeply, and guided his whole life. He wanted to be the "Consoler of Jesus". He felt most hurt when he saw Jesus offended, and his ideal was to give Him consolation. He wanted to avoid sin, and others to avoid it, to save his Saviour sadness. He made very sacrifice he could to give consolation to Jesus. To do this he would stay along for long hours in church, or hide himself in some lonely place. Shortly before he died, he said "In haven I'm going to console Our Lord and Our Lady very much." Anyone who thinks that he is "consoling" Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ while he remains "neutral" about or supportive of any of the four sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance is deceiving himself quite possibly to the point of his own eternal perdition, Such a person is in need of our prayers, to be sure. However, such a person is a proximate source of social chaos, not an instrument of justice founded in the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law. Sloganeering and sentimentality do not secure one's salvation. Indeed, they are instruments of the devil to lead sloganeers and sentimentalists into Hell as they take many others with them.
Conscious of making reparation for our own sins, which, although forgiven and thus no longer exist, are in need of our making satisfaction here in this passing, mortal vale of tears before we die, may our Rosaries each day help lift the scales from the likes of the confused Catholics and non-Catholics in public life, thereby hastening their return or conversion to the Catholic Church, outside of which there is no salvation and without which there can be no true or lasting social order.

Father Denis Fahey's Explanation of the Phrase Judeo-Masonry
"There is unorganized opposition to the supernatural life of grace in
each one of us, owing to the fall. This unorganized opposition of
individuals leads to the formation of little anti-supernatural groups
here and there, even without the concerted action of vast organized
forces. The existence of united anti-supernatural action on the part of
organized bodies is so far removed from the mind of the average Catholic
that it needs to be stressed particularly and its aims made clear. The
Christian framework of society is destined not only to aid us in
attaining union with Christ but to serve as a bulwark against the
assaults of the forces organized against our supernatural life. These
forces are three in number, one being invisible, the other two visible.
The invisible host is that of Satan and the other fallen angels, while
the visible forces are those of the Jewish nation and Freemasonry."
The Jewish Nation is not only a visible organization, but its naturalistic or antisupernatural character is openly proclaimed by its refusal to accept the Supernatural Messias and by its looking forward
to a naturalistic Messianic era. The Masonic Society or group of Societies is a visible organization, but its naturalistic or anti-supernatural character is secret or camouflaged. The Naturalism or Anti-Supernaturalism of its aims, as well as of its ritual and symbolism, is clearly grasped by only relatively few of the initiated. The pantheistic deification of man, which is the consequence of this Naturalism, is the supreme secret of Freemasonry. Both of these visible societies, however, make use of subterfuge and secrecy in their modes of action against the supernatural life of the nations of the world.
Accordingly, the most vitally real struggle in the world is that waged by those naturalistic or anti-supernatural armies, under the leadership of Satan, against those who accept the Supernatural Life of Grace, participation of the Life of the Blessed Trinity, under the leadership of Our Lord Jesus Christ. In the work of elimination of the Supernatural Life from society, the Jewish nation has been powerfully aided by Freemasonry.
Freemasonry is a naturalistic society, that is to
say, a society which claims to make men good and true independently of the Supernatural Life which comes to us through membership of Our Lord. Masonry thus, in fact and in deed, puts itself above the Mystical Body of Christ, and its
action has powerfully contributed to the elimination of the Catholic tradition, based on the Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the advent of the anti-supernatural or naturalistic mentality and outlook.
Masonic propaganda has so blinded the nations, even those that did not revolt against the Mystical Body in the sixteenth century, to the significance of Naturalism, that it is difficult"to rouse them to the full perception of the real issues at stake. The warnings of the Sovereign Pontiffs and the Judaeo-Masonic attack on the supernatural life in Spain have succeeded, it is true, in getting them to stir uneasily in their slumbers, but they cannot be said to be as yet awake. The Masonic Declaration of the Rights of Man of 1789 has contributed also to bewilder people with regard to the significance of the Communistic attack
on private property.1 The real meaning of the equality of the French Revolution, the one behind which is all the driving force of Masonry, is that all men are equally God. Accordingly, in a properly constituted State, an absolute social equality should counterbalance natural inequalities. The right of private property as the greatest cause of social inequality must be abolished. We need not be surprised then at the lukewarm opposition to Communism wherever the virus of the French Revolution has penetrated. In this way the poorer members of Society, who have had such sad experiences in the so-called Christian countries, since the sixteenth century, are easily drawn to listen to Marx's cajoling words. The proletariat, according to the Jewish siren, is a Messianic class destined by its rule to bring about a new era in the world. People are slow to grasp that both the proletariat in general and the Russian proletariat in particular are only means for the Messianic dreams of Marx's own nation.
