Today is the magnificent feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary to her cousin, Saint Elizabeth, and her preborn Divine Son’s preborn Precursor, Saint John the Baptist.

This date, July 2, marks the end of the period of Our Lady’s Visitation, which began on April 2, lasting until the day after the octave day of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist. Our Lady’s perfect Charity for her cousin and her Divine Son’s Precursor should prompt us to perform the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy at all times, making sure as well to proclaim the Holy Name of Mary, she whom all generations are duty bound to call blessed, as the Mother of God who made possible our salvation by her perfect fiat to the will of God the Father at the Annunciation and who is the Queen of Heaven and on earth, the very Immaculate Conception who prays for us now and at the hour of our deaths.

Work continues on the adaptation of several older commentaries concerning what may--or may not be (as ever seems to be the case)--a possible merger of the Society of Saint Pius X into the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism into which they have "partial communion" at this time. This sort of "possibility" has had fits and starts since 1998, especially in 2001, 2009, and 2012. I could just republish the older commentaries. However, I do want to extract a little from each to demonstrate that while things may be different this time, there is really very little new under the conciliar sun.

This is a revised reflection that is offered to the readers of this site today, the Feast of the Most Precious Blood Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Most Precious Blood of Jesus is our laver of redemption, as our own sins, each and every single one of them, caused It to be shed during the events of Holy Thursday and Good Friday.

It was the thought of coming into contact with the horror of our sins, the very antithesis of His Sacred Divinity, that caused Our Lord to sweat droplets of His Most Precious Blood in His Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane.

It was our sins that caused the Most Precious Blood of Jesus to be shed so terribly during His cruel scourging at the Pillar.

It was our sins that caused the Most Precious Blood of Jesus to be shed as He was crowned with thorns to mock His Sacred Kingship over men and their nations.

It was our sins that caused the Most Precious Blood of Jesus to continue to be shed from the scourging and the crowning as He walked up the steps to be judged by the Roman procurator, Pontius Pilate. Droplets of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus are still venerated by pilgrims as proceed on their knees up the Sancta Scala in Rome right across from the Basilica di San Giovanni Laterano.

It was our sins that caused the Most Precious Blood to be shed as Our Lord’s hands and knees were crucified.

It was our sins that caused the Most Precious Blood of Jesus to be shed unto Its last drop as He hung on the gibbet of the Holy Holy Cross for three hours, flowing in a torrent as Our Lord’s wounded side was pierced with the lance of Saint Longinus.

What is It that is poured out onto our souls when they are Absolved by a true priest in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance? The Most Precious Blood of Jesus.

The Most Precious Blood of Jesus strengthens us when we receive It worthily in Holy Communion.

It was the shedding of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus on the wood of the Holy Cross that ratified the New and Eternal Covenant He inaugurated at the Last Supper, thereby obliterating forever the old sacrifices of the blood of bulls and goats and lambs in Temple worship, thus superseding he Old Covenant of the Jews.

We must celebrate this great Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus, which was pumped through Our Divine Redeemer’s Sacred Body by His Most Sacred Heart, the very font of Mercy, with gratitude that we, sinners who caused It to be shed in torrents under the most unspeakably cruel conditions, are bathed unto our redemption by Its merits. May we never take the Most Precious Blood of Jesus for granted.

Continued car difficulties have interfered with the completion of the next major article, which may not appear before Monday, July 4, 2016, a date that would very appropriate for the subjects discussed in its text. I was minding my own business as I was in the final six hours or so of completing a long commentary on the Brexit vote when, much to my consternation, I discovered that the false “pontiff,” Jorge Mario Bergoglio, had given another interview. Thus it is my the Brexit commentary has to be completed late tomorrow night or Tuesday afternoon given our plans for today, the Feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

Although other aspects of Bergoglio’s interview will be covered in a separate commentary, probably to be published on the Commemoration of Saint Paul on Wednesday, June 30, 2016, this commentary is confined to yet another reiteration of his infamous “Who am I to judge?” canard that has ripped away any pretense of conciliar opposition to the agenda of those steeped in perverse sins against nature that cry out to Heaven for vengeance.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio has wrapped himself up in the rainbow flag, which is indeed an irony as the rainbow was a sign of God’s covenant of peace with Noe and his descendants after He had punished the wickedness of men with the Great Flood. Men are again wicked in the sight of God, and their wickedness is being suborned by the man most people accept as “Pope Francis.”

This is revised and enlarged reflection about today's feast, the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist. Work continues on the next original commentary, which will need more than an entire day's worth of work to complete, somewhat similar to what it took to complete "Sin: The Forgotten Terrorism" last week. Given the amount of work that needs to be done, I would say that Sunday appears to be the earliest that the new article which touches on many subjects, including the results of the referendum in the United Kingdom to leave the anti-national sovereignty monster called the European Union, can appear. Today's revised article is but a brief reflection on the short but extraordinary life of sanctity lived by Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, a great lover of the Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in His Real Presence in the Most Blessed Sacrament and of Our Lady. Saint Aloysius was intensely united to the sufferings that Our Lord endured in His Passion and Death, offering up his own sufferings prior to death, sufferings that he contracted as a result of helping a man with the plague in Rome, in union with that of Our Lord's own Passion and Death. Saint Aloysius was also devoted to the angels, which makes sense as he had an angelic purity of his own. We need to invoke his holy intercession to help us to have as a pure a heart as he did as we attempt to make reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary for our own sins, especially any and all against Holy Purity.

As it was at Saint Aloysius School in Great Neck, New York, where I learned the truths of the Catholic Faith as they were taught with clarity by the Reverend Sisters of Mercy (and one lay teacher, Miss Greta McCarthy, a young Irish immigrant who knew the Holy Faith very well, who became Mrs. Greta Foley after the end of the 1961-1962 school year), I owe Saint Aloysius so very much. I have been devoted to him from the time that I entered Kindergarten in September of 1956.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio is, of course, a figure of Antichrist.

Although it had been my hope to have this commentary published by this morning, I simply fell asleep about thirty minutes after midnight in the middle of typing. I awoke within a minute or so to find that I had typed several lines consisting of the numeral “1”, and realized that it was time to shut down the computer after working on it for about twelve hours or so. I apologize for the delay.

This commentary on the Orlando massacre is not for those steeped in sentimentality. It is a pretty hard-hitting look at the reality of sin and of its effects in our world of Modernity, which came into being as a result of the Protestant Revolution and the subsequent rise of Judeo-Masonry, and Modernism. As it was my desire to complete this commentary at a reasonable hour before running errands for the family, I have paid no attention to the memorial that took place in Orlando, Florida, today. I will, though, comment on that memorial as time permits in the next few days.

As our 2008 Chrysler Town and Country minivan finally yielded to a problem that is the subject of an active recall notice (the ignition key got stuck in the "accessory" position, a defect that can occur even as the car is being driven) that many dealers make one excuse after another to avoid repairing, my available time today was spent on a totally unexpected emergency. This means that all I have to offer you now is another late-night republished reflection on the life of a saint whose feast day is almost over. My commentary on the mass shooting at the hands of a Mohammedan in a place of iniquity needs to be completed with care, and thus it is that I will not rush its completion this evening. All I can do is to apologize as there is little I can do when a problem such as the one with the minivan occurs within the Providence of God. Thank you for your understanding.

Tonight's republished article, which was written six years ago now and revised last year, any longer), attempts to draw comparisons between Saint Basil the Great's battles with the Arians and our own battles with the lords of the counterfeit church of conciliarism and their apologists. I had forgotten, prior to re-reading the article, just how many little nuggets from Dom Prosper Gueranger's The Liturgical Year are contained in its text. Here is one just nugget:

"Peace is just what Basil desired as much as anybody; but the peace for which he would give his life could be only that true peace left to the Church by our Lord. What he so vigorously exacted on the grounds of faith proceeded solely from his very love of peace. And therefore, as he himself tells us, he absolutely refused to enter into communion with those narrow-minded men who dread nothing so much as a clear, precise expression of dogma; in his eyes their captious formulas and ungraspable shiftings were but the action of hypocrites, in whose company he would scorn to approach God's altar. As to those miserably misled, 'Let the faith of our fathers be proposed to them with all tenderness and charity; if they will assent thereunto, let us receive them into our midst; in other cases, let us dwell with ourselves alone, regardless of numbers; and let us keep aloof from equivocating souls, who are not possessed of that simplicity without guile, indispensably required in the early days of the Gospel from all who would approach to the the faith. The believers, so it is written, had but one heart and one soul. Let those, therefore, who would reproach us for not desiring pacification, mark well who are the real authors of the disturbance and so not point the question of reconciliation on our side any more.'"(Dom Prosper Gueranger, O.S.B., The Liturgical Year.)

The authors of disturbance today are not those of us who point out the errors and blasphemes and sacrileges of the conciliar "popes," including Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis, but those who are silent about and/or enable these offenses, a silence that prevails these days among so many "conservative" and "traditionally-minded" priests and presbyters in the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism.
