Given all the myraid problems that have arisen in recent days, including additional ones with our minivan that were detected at an oil change facility late yesterday afternoon, my effort to complete a reflection for this Octave Day of the Solemnity of Corpus Christi is going to have to be suspended for the time being. I will, however, return to the task later today in the hope to have it posted this evening before revising several reflections for tomorrow's feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The Feast of Saint Paulinus of Nola is commmorated today. Here is but a brief quote from Saint Paulinus on why God has so arranged things as to make some dependent upon others:

"God almighty could have made all men equally rich in worldly goods from the very first day of  birth, so rich that no one would be dependent upon another.  But He did not do it in order to test the hearts of men.  He created the poor to make merciful, He created the helpless to put the powerful on trial." (Saint Paulinus of Nola.)

Check back early this evening for today's reflection.

Saint Aloysius, Please Help Us To Be As Pure and Innocent As Thee

Today's revised article is but a brief reflection on the short but extraordinary life of sanctity lived by Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, a great lover of the Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in His Real Presence in the Most Blessed Sacrament and of Our Lady. Saint Aloysius was intensely united to the sufferings that Our Lord endured in His Passion and Death, offering up his own sufferings prior to death, sufferings that he contracted as a result of helping a man with the plague in Rome, in union with that of Our Lord's own Passion and Death.

Saint Aloysius was also devoted to the angels, which makes sense as he had an angelic purity of his own. We need to invoke his holy intercession to help us to have as a pure a heart as he did as we attempt to make reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary for our own sins, especially any and all against Holy Purity. As it was at Saint Aloysius School in Great Neck, New York, where I learned the truths of the Catholic Faith as they were taught with clarity by the Reverend Sisters of Mercy (and one lay teacher, Miss Greta McCarthy, a young Irish immigrant who knew the Holy Faith very well, who became Mrs. Greta Foley after the end of the 1961-1962 school year; she died in 2012), I owe Saint Aloysius so very much. I have been devoted to him from the time that I entered Kindergarten in September of 1956.

An original article was supposed to be published today. Alas, we had plumbing problems inside of the house yesterday that were most unexpected, and those problems arose ust a few hours before our 2008 minivan's radiator decided to cause a few problems of its own. We thank Our Lord for our crosses each of which has been perfectly fashioned for us by his loving hand from all eternity for His greater honor and glory as His consecrated slaves through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

It would be helpful for those who are able to make a non-tax-deductible financial gift at this time to do so. Thank you.

Jorge and The Ba'al Bunch of Idolaters

Although there was a very good post at Novus Ordo Watch Wire about a pan-religious project known as "The Elijah Initiative," I did think it useful to provide my own brief commentary on the subject. A bit of mockery is used in this commentary to mock the mockers of the Holy Faith. (The commentary has been renamed.)

Finally, a brief request for non-tax-deductible donations was posted on Satuday. The need is urgent for such donations from those who support the work of this site and have the financial wherewithal to do so, noting that this appeal exempts those who have given this month as there is enough of a readership, albeit admittedly small, to make such appeals unnecessary if more readers would make regular non-tax-deuctible financial gifts.

Thank you.

Overthrow the Social Reign of Christ the King, Live In A World Awash In Hatred and Blood, part two

Once again, a delay in posting new articles means nothing other than the next original article is a work-in-progress. This is especially the case when a great deal of transcription is necessary,

The concluding part of this two-part series contrasts the zeal of King Saint Ferdinand III of Castile and Leon for the cause of Christ the King and His Most Blessed Mother with the zeal of naturalists for their own self-interests.

Finally, time does not permit the updating of the donations page (I can't even remember when I updated it last). However, there is a need for non-tax-deductible financial gifts at this time. Eighty percent of one such gift a few days ago went to pay bills, and there are more bills to be paid in the coming week. Thanks in advance for your generosity and support.

Overthrow the Social Reign of Christ the King, Live In A World Awash In Hatred and Blood, part one

This is a a brief commentary on the shooting of the Majority Whip of the United States House of Representatives, Steven Scalise (R-Louisiana), a Catholic, and four other people (a Congressional aide, two Capitol Police officers, a lobyist for Tyson Foods) by a "Bernie Bro" by the name of James Hodgkinson.

A world that know not is true King will be awash in hatred of Him and thus of His rational creatures for whose salvation He shed every single drop of His Most Precious Blood to redeem during His Passion and Death on the wood of the Holy Cross on Good Friay.

With prayers for the recovery of Representative Scalise and the others who were wounded, may be never cease in our efforts to make reparation for our own sins and those of the world by offering up everything all of our prayers, works and sufferings to the Throne of the Most Blessed Trinity as the consecrated slaves of Christ the King through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, making sure to pray as many Rosaries each day as our state-in-life permits.

All Adoration, Praise and Thanksgiving Be Given to Our Eucharistic King

Today is the great Feast of Corpus Christi. This article, written a long time ago now and slightly revised over the years, is an exhortation to the readers of this site to spend more and more time in adoration before Our Beloved before His Real Presence in the Most Blessed Sacrament if this is at all possible in your area.

Adoration is the first end of prayer, including the perfect prayer that is the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in which Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ becomes Incarnate under the appearances of bread and wine when a men man, uttering mere words over the elements of the earth, calls Him down from Heaven. We must adore God with our whole mind, soul, heart, body and strength. To spend time before the Most Blessed Sacrament in prayer is a foretaste of Heavenly glories. Our goal in life is to behold the glory of the Beatific Vision of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost for all eternity in the company of Our Lady, Saint Joseph, our Guardian Angels (each of whom beholds the Beatific Vision as he tries to guide us home to Heaven!), our patron saints and all of the members of the Church Triumph, whose ranks we hope and pray will include our dearest and nearest relatives and friends. We must make time for the foretaste of Heavenly glories by means of profound Eucharistic Adoration in this life is we want to enjoy the glories of Heaven itself for all eternity.

There are infused graces that are flooded into the souls of those who spend time in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, those souls who are conscious of the need to make reparation for their sins as they give thanksgiving to God for all of the favors, both spiritual and temporal, they have received and who recognize the need to petition God for the favors we need, both spiritual temporal, starting with an earnest petition each day that we be given the grace to have a holy and sacramentally-provided-for death. Our Lord stands ready to send us this infusion of graces through the loving hands of His Most Blessed Mother, who is mystically with us when we pray before her Divine Son’s Real Presence. All we need to do is to arrange our lives in such a way as to make time for prayer before Our Eucharistic King and Lord.

We must, of course, be conscious of our need to get to the Sacrament of Penance on a weekly basis, if possible, of course,in order that our reception of Our Lord’s Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in Holy Communion will be worthy and fervent. The frequent, devout and worthy reception of Our Lord in Holy Communion gives strength even to those souls who have been steeped in one sin after another, those souls who have perhaps surrendered all too readily to the devil’s attacks upon them over the years:

And then come, and accuse me, saith the Lord: if your sins be as scarlet, they shall be made as white as snow: and if they be red as crimson, they shall be white as wool. If you be willing, and will hearken to me, you shall eat the good things of the land. (Isaias 1: 18-19.)

We must ask Our Lady on this great feast day of Corpus Christi, which, of course, is celebrated as an Octave in those chapels that use the Missal of Saint Pius V before it was “reformed” by the revolutionary efforts of Annibale Bugnini and Ferdinando Antonelli in the 1950s, to help give us more and more graces to recognize the Most Sacred Heart of her Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, beats for with great love in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

We must ask Our Lady to help us approach the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through her own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart with such fervor and devotion that we will consider it as a great loss if ever there is a day we are unable to get a true offering of Holy Mass and unable to spend at least some time with her Divine Son, Who is the Prisoner of Love in tabernacles today just as He was the Prisoner of her Virginal and Immaculate Womb from the time of His Incarnation to the day of His Nativity.

Today should be devoted entirely to gratitude to Eucharistic King for the great gift of Himself in Holy Communion and our ability worship Him in His Real Presence even though He sitteth at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven. What a mystery of love. Words fail.

A blessed Feast of Corpus Christi to you all!

Saint Basil the Great: "Perhaps You Have Not Met A Catholic Bishop Before"

Today's republished article, which was written seven years ago now and revised last in 2015, attempts to draw comparisons between Saint Basil the Great's battles with the Arians and our own battles with the lords of the counterfeit church of conciliarism and their apologists. I had forgotten, prior to re-reading the article, just how many little nuggets from Dom Prosper Gueranger's The Liturgical Year are contained in its text. Here is one just nugget:

"Peace is just what Basil desired as much as anybody; but the peace for which he would give his life could be only that true peace left to the Church by our Lord. What he so vigorously exacted on the grounds of faith proceeded solely from his very love of peace. And therefore, as he himself tells us, he absolutely refused to enter into communion with those narrow-minded men who dread nothing so much as a clear, precise expression of dogma; in his eyes their captious formulas and ungraspable shiftings were but the action of hypocrites, in whose company he would scorn to approach God's altar. As to those miserably misled, 'Let the faith of our fathers be proposed to them with all tenderness and charity; if they will assent thereunto, let us receive them into our midst; in other cases, let us dwell with ourselves alone, regardless of numbers; and let us keep aloof from equivocating souls, who are not possessed of that simplicity without guile, indispensably required in the early days of the Gospel from all who would approach to the the faith. The believers, so it is written, had but one heart and one soul. Let those, therefore, who would reproach us for not desiring pacification, mark well who are the real authors of the disturbance and so not point the question of reconciliation on our side any more.'"(Dom Prosper Gueranger, O.S.B., The Liturgical Year.)

The authors of disturbance today are not those of us who point out the errors, blasphemies and sacrileges of the conciliar "popes," including Jorge Mario Bergoglio, but those who are silent about and/or enable these offenses, a silence that prevails these days among so many "conservative" and "traditionally-minded" priests and presbyters in the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

The next article should appear tomorrow, and it will provide rather extensive commentary on the effort of “deep state” operatives to overthrow last year’s election as demonstrated by the remarkable turn of events represented by Attorney General Jefferson Sessions’ testimony yesterday. This does not mean that I have changed my mind about President Donald John Trump. Of course not. However, there is an effort to throw him out of office based on false accusations. This is the sort of madness that must occur when men do not fear the judgment that Christ the King will render upon their immortal souls after they die and who thus rule according to their false “lights” rather than as vice-regents of the King of Kings Himself.

Bernie Sanders Makes America Safer For Atheism

The title is self-explanatory.

Actually, Bernard John Sanders is but the product of Americanism, which has been used by the adversary as the means to make the United States of America safe for Talmudism and for all other false religions while making it manifestly unsafe for believing Catholics.

Saint Anthony of Padua, Hammer of Heretics, Help Us To Find Our Way Home to Heaven

Today is the Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua, the Hammer of Heretics, who desired to die a martyr's death in an effort to convert Mohammedans following his transfer from the Order of Saint Augustine to the Order of Friars Minor. It was not God's Holy Will for Saint Anthony to die a martyr's death as he became ill upon arriving in Morocco and was then led as a result of shipwreck away from his native Portugal to Sicily, and from there to Italy, where his fame as a preacher and miracle worker began. (Saint Anthony’s desire to convert Mohammedans, of course, is not the spirit of the blaspheming heretics who constitute the hierarchy of the counterfeit church of conciliarism.)

Saint Anthony lived for only thirty-six years, teaching us that it is not the length of the years that matter. No, what matters to God is how we use the time given to us this very day, which could be our own last day on the face of this earth before our Particular Judgment, to know, love, and serve Him as He has revealed Himself to us exclusively through the Catholic Church. God is merciful to those of us who have sinned much by giving us length of years so that we might use our time well to make much reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary for our sins.

Saint Anthony's work on earth was done when he was just thirty-six years old, whereupon his work for us in Heaven commenced. Dear, dear Saint Anthony, help us to find our way to Heaven, especially by being as devoted to the Most Blessed Sacrament and to the Mother of God as you were here on earth.

The next original article will be published about ten mintues after this posting. Thank you.

A blessed feast of Saint Anthony to you all!

Trinity Sunday: We Adore the Only True God, The Most Blessed Trinity

Today is Trinity Sunday and the Commemoration of Saint John of San Facundo and of the First Sunday after Pentecost, thus beginning the second half of the liturgical year that began with the First Sunday of Advent.

The mystery of the Most Holy Trinity was revealed to us by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Although there are clear references in the text of the Old Testament to a plurality of Persons in the Divine Godhead ("Let us make man in our own image"), human reason, which can come to the conclusion that God exists, is insufficient to know about the existence of the Most Blessed Trinity. Our Lord Himself, the Second Person of the Most Blessed Trinity made Man in Our Lady's Virginal and Immaculate Womb, had to reveal this to us. The doctrine of the Most Holy Trinity is rejected by all infidels and misrepresented by most Protestant sects.

To wit, many Protestants, especially in the evangelical and fundamentalist sects, are "baptized" in "the name of the Lord Jesus," not in "The Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost," which is invalid on its face. This means that many hundreds of thousands of Protestants are not even Christians despite their thinking that they are. We must defend the doctrine of the Most Blessed Trinity with our very lives if necessary, having frequent recourse to the making of the Sign of the Cross throughout the day. This is a custom that is held dear by many Spaniards and Latin Americans.

Indeed, the jockey who rode Nyquist to victory in last year’s Kentucky Derby, which was held on Saturday, May 7, 2016, the Feast of Saint Stanislaus, did so, something that was shown in slow motion as a replay of the post-race "cooling off" of the horse’s trot was broadcast. This should put many Catholics in this country to shame for fearing to make invoke the very sign of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost when in public.

Remember, Jorge Mario Bergoglio did not want to give a "blessing," not that he is capable of giving one as a lay Jesuit revolutionary, that is, when address the crowd on the Capitol Mall in Washington, District of Columbia, on Thursday, September 24, 2015, the Feast of Our Lady of Ransom, for fear of offending "unbelievers."

Work on the next article, which will deal with Senator Bernard Sanders’s Christophobic bigotry, may take until tomorrow evening to complete. It will be a thorough commentary. Please send it to him once it is completed. (The long-delayed reflection on King Saint Ferdinand and Saint Joan of Arc will be published thereafter.)

Finally, I wish to call to your attention several important posts at Call Me Jorge that provide superb research and analysis about the symbolism of Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s immersion in all things Talmudic and Kabbalistic:

A blessed Trinity Sunday to you all.
