Although I had thought that the last installment in this series would have been the last, the continuation of the plandemic wrought by the Chinese/China/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus industry that will subside only if Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., is elected President of the United States of America on Tuesday, November 4, 2020, requires another commentary to deal with this farce of a “healthcare” crisis that continues to be exploited as the thoroughly unjustified pretext for unprecedented efforts on the parts of our statist minders to control and monitor us all in the peon caste. Unfortunately, however, many of our fellow peons are lemmings who do not realize that those in the civil government, the healthcare industry and Big Pharma who profess to “care” so very much for their physical “safety” and “health” are conditioning them to accept draconian efforts that involving curbing, if not entirely eliminating, legitimate human liberties as the “new normal” now and into the future.
An editorial that appeared in the July 15, 2020, edition of Issues and Insights summarized this matter in a merely naturalistic manner about as well as can be done without discussing actual root causes through the supernatural lens of the Holy Faith:
Before anyone accuses us of being indifferent to COVID-19 deaths, or of being conspiracy mongers, we feel the need to point out that we aren’t saying that the coronavirus isn’t a serious public health threat. It obviously is. The question is whether the risk is being exaggerated and whether public policies enacted in the wake of it are necessary or effective.
Here are five steps that the got the coronavirus panic started and why it continues to this day.
1. Wildly exaggerate the deadliness of the disease. Most perceptions of the coronavirus were formed when the World Health Organization announced that the fatality rate was above 3%. If true, there would be millions of people dead. But it wasn’t even close to accurate. Based on ever greater amounts of data, we know that that the death rate is more like a bad flu season than the plague. Then there was the report from the Imperial College of London in March that claimed that even with draconian lockdowns in place, a million people in the U.S. would die from the coronavirus. That model has since been debunked, but the combination of the two extremely dire forecasts set the public’s perception of the disease and acceptance of draconian control measures.
2. Overcount deaths and undercount cases. These perceptions have continued because of the way cases and deaths are counted. On the one hand, the number of “confirmed” cases is a fraction of the actual number of people who’ve contracted the disease. That’s because many have symptoms that are minor or nonexistent, and so they never bother to get tested. In fact, one reason for the increase in “confirmed” cases is the fact that testing is more routine, even for those who are asymptomatic.
At the same time, the number of COVID-19 deaths is almost certainly exaggerated because we aren’t counting deaths caused by COVID-19, but, per CDC guidelines, deaths among people who have tested positive for COVID-19, or are presumed to have had the disease. There’s a big difference between the two.
Colorado started tracking both numbers, and today the number of people who’ve died in the state with COVID-19 is 1,725. But the number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 8% lower at 1,586. Yet the number reported by the CDC for Colorado is 1,725. Reports from other states have found similar or higher levels of bloat in the death counts. Apply Colorado’s ratio nationwide and it means the national death count is more than 11,000 too high.
3. Ignore positive trends. Amid all the agonizing over the rise in new coronavirus cases are data that should be reassuring, but are being largely ignored. For example, while the number of new cases has been skyrocketing, the number of deaths hasn’t. This isn’t just because there’s a lag between the two. Over the past four weeks, the number of daily new cases has climbed four-fold, but the number of deaths, while up, isn’t anywhere near the mid-April peak, which occurred one month after the first surge of daily cases began.
4. Act as though any new infection is a tragedy. The news media continue to treat outbreaks of COVID-19 as a death sentence. It’s news when a prominent person tests positive, but not when they get better. Nor has the press done a good job of explaining the relative risk of the disease to different demographic groups. Instead, we keep hearing things like “COVID-19 doesn’t discriminate” when the data clearly show that it does. Targeting public health money and efforts at vulnerable populations makes sense. Universal lockdowns don’t.
5. Ignore the health consequences of lockdowns. We’ve argued in this space for months that the cure for coronavirus may very well end up being worse than the disease. That is, the panic induced by those early false reports about its lethality, and the resulting lockdowns, could end up causing more deaths than are saved by the lockdowns. Prudent measures like social distancing and mask requirements might have been all that was needed all along. For example, the CDC says that closing schools poses a great risk to children’s health than reopening them. Yet some school districts in California, for example, have already announced that schools won’t reopen this fall.
Underlying all this is the presumption — imposed by the public health community — that you can never be too careful. By this standard, there’s nothing wrong with grossly overplaying the threat of a disease. But reporting good news, or providing accurate data about risks is a public disservice because it might cause people to be “too” lax.
If we’re going to learn anything from this experience, the first lesson ought to be how to avoid a panic the next time a pandemic comes around. Because once a panic is induced, it’s hard to stop. (Covid-19 Shows How to Creat a Pandemic and Keep It Going.)
As noted just above, this editorial is about as good as can be expected from a naturalist perspective, although it is still premised on the belief that “social distancing” and the wearing of masks constitute “prudent measures” when they are nothing other than means of conditioning the lemmings to “protect” themselves whilst they walk around with almost every other part of their heavily—and sometimes grotesquely macabre—tattooed bodies exposed in the most indecent and immodest attire ever sported in human history for full, unashamed public viewing.
Before proceeding with a brief review of the additional evidence that has been amassed since part five of this series was published on June 12, 2020, it is important to provide something of a summary of what is actually happening in this country as, if the polls are to be believed, over seventy percent of American lemmings believe that wearing face coverings will retard the spread of a virus that is less deadly than the annual outbreaks of influenza.
First, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is visiting a massive chastisement upon us all. Over and above the actual China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus that has made a lot of people very sick and has been killed others, principally those with underlying conditions (co-mordibities), the major part of this chastisement consists of the planned reaction to this outbreak on the part of our statist minders to bring the face of American “liberty,” such as it ever existed, to a permanent end in exchange for “guarantees” of “physical safety” and “good health.”
This whole plandemic and the fearmongering associated have conditioned many Americans to accept illegitimate, unconstitutional and thoroughly unnecessary measures to keep them “safe” from a mysterious virus whose symptoms keep expanding as it becomes clearer that its mortality rate is negligible and that many of those who have said to have died from the disease did not have it in the first place and/or have been proactively killed by “palliative care” or the medically unnecessary use of ventilators.
Second, in this regard, therefore, we must ever keep in mind that the disproportionate fear of most otherwise healthy Americans about a virus that is not a legitimate threat to either their “good health” or physical safety stands in stark contrast with their lack of fear about offending God by means of sinning unrepentantly. Sin maketh nations miserable, and this nation, which has celebrated sins in the name of “liberty” from its very inception, based as it is on the rejection of any public obligation to the true God of Divine Revelation and a concomitant rejection of the authority of His true Church to intervene with civil leaders when the good of souls demands her to do so, that have included, among so many others:
- Constant blasphemies committed against Our Lord, Our Lady, and the saints.
- The exporting of Protestantism and Freemasonry in once proudly Catholic countries.
- The invasion and occupation of Catholic countries by armed military force.
- The liberalization of divorce laws in many states in the late Nineteenth Century.
- The establishment of public schooling as the means to indoctrinate Catholic immigrants—first from Ireland and then all throughout formerly Catholic Europe—in the ways of “democracy,” religious indifferentism, egalitarianism, materialism, majoritarianism and everything else pertaining to Americanism.
- Immodesty of dress and the rank impurity and indecency of stage plays, motion pictures, magazines, books, television programming, etc.
- The acceptance of contraception and its subsequent exportation all over the globe by means of American taxpayer dollars.
- The exportation of the perversities associated with the pestilential vice of the sin of Sodom and its related sins.
- The institutionalization of the surgical execution of the innocent preborn—and anyone else thereafter—who is deemed to suffer from a “poor quality of life,” which has “widened the killing field,” so to speak, for “medical professionals” to kill anyone they choose to kill over and beyond their manufactured myth of “brain death” that has been used to justify human vivisection for “their bodily organs.
In this last regard, good readers, it must be remembered that “palliative care,” although the principal means of choice to dispatch the “useless” in the United States of America and elsewhere in the world after birth, is accompanied by cravenly bold acts of wanton murder of those who mere human beings consider to be worthy of execution because they suffer from some kind of physical disability. Here is a recent case in point:
Last month, a disabled, 46-year-old African American man was euthanized without his consent or that of his wife. But rather than exploding amid our racial-justice moment, the story hardly yielded a peep from those who control our national discourse.
In 2017, Michael Hickson suffered a brain injury that left him paralyzed. Still, he was able to enjoy many activities: having books read to him, listening to music, answering trivia questions. He had memory problems, but he recalled his birthday and Social Security number with ease. Michael was leading the kind of life many people with disabilities do: not without difficulties but intrinsically valuable and dignified.
Then Michael contracted COVID-19 and was admitted to St. David’s Medical Center of South Austin, Texas. A disagreement over his care led to medical decision-making being taken away from his wife and given to the state and his medical team.
Michael didn’t do well and needed intensive care. His wife, Melissa, apparently did not trust his medical team and decided to (legally) record the exchange she had with her husband’s doctor.
As the recording shows, they agreed that Michael should not be intubated, but Melissa still wanted Michael to be treated aggressively. The doctor insisted aggressive treatment wouldn’t “help him improve” and “right now, his quality of life . . . he doesn’t have much of one.”
Melissa was taken aback: “What do you mean?” she asked. “Because he’s paralyzed with a brain injury, he doesn’t have quality of life?”
“Correct,” the doctor flatly replied.
Pressed further by Melissa, who admirably kept her cool, the doctor admitted he’d had three patients survive who were in Michael’s situation but claimed her husband’s case “doesn’t fit those three.”
Michael’s “quality of life is different from theirs,” she was told. The others “were walking and talking people.”
Melissa tried to respond, but the doctor had had enough. “I don’t mean to be frank or abrasive, but at this point, we are going to do what we feel is best for him along with the state, and this is what we decided.”
Melissa did get in one last shot by telling him that this was a decision to kill her husband. And she had good reason to think so: Giving her husband food, water, oxygen and medicine would have not been burdensome treatment. And Michael may have beaten the odds.
The hospital had plenty of space for him. The issue, the doctor made clear, was Michael’s disability. The state and the hospital decided that they shouldn’t try to save someone with his disabilities.
After pro-life journalists broke the story on June 26, the National Council on Disability publicly called on the federal Office of Civil Rights at the Department of Health and Human Services to investigate the hospital for violating Michael’s civil rights.
“When a medical facility makes a decision to deny medical care to a person with a disability that is based on, or influenced by, biased views about life with a disability, it runs afoul of federal civil rights laws,” the group said.
Yet when the Washington Post, a paper otherwise all in on outing structural racism, picked up the story, it framed Melissa’s claims skeptically and credulously accepted the hospital’s word that “it wasn’t possible to save” Michael and that none of its decisions was made on the basis of his disability.
Sorry, but the recording was clear: An institution with power over Michael’s very life had deemed it a life unworthy of life.
Owing to structural health disparities, many African Americans have a justified fear of being treated like “throwaway people” in a clinical setting, particularly when it comes to so-called “end-of-life” decisions.
And because doctors are often ableist in their assumptions, the vulnerability of African American patients are magnified when they are disabled. Health providers consistently rate the quality of life of their disabled patients worse than the patients themselves.
When confronted with the fact that patients generally prefer length of life to quality of life, many physicians find themselves “surprised” and admit: “We think we know what is best for a patient, but this is often wrong.” It’s appalling.
If you care about racial justice, remember Michael Hickson. Say his name. Tell his story. (Doctors Didn't Try to Save Black Covid-19 Patient Who Was Paralyzed.)
Well, this is not about “racial justice,” this is about simple justice in submission to the binding precepts of the Fifth Commandment that have been inscribed on the very flesh of our hearts and are knowable to all men, albeit imperfectly, by the use of human reason unaided by Divine Revelation: “Thou shalt not kill.”
Unfortunately, however, stories such as Michael Hickson’s happen throughout the world and, I contend, make up a substantial percentage of those who have said to have “died” from the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus when, in fact, they have been killed by the descendants of Montezuma in white coats and professional degrees. Most of these deaths/killing go entirely unnoticed because patients and/or relatives are cowed into submission by the “experts,” showing once again the Bishop Clemens von Galen of Munster, Germany, was not only accurate in his condemnation of the Nazi program of eugenics but was also prophetic of what would take place here in the United States of America and elsewhere in the so-called “civilized” world:
We must expect, therefore, that the poor defenceless patients are, sooner or later, going to be killed. Why? Not because they have committed any offence justifying their death, not because, for example, they have attacked a nurse or attendant, who would be entitled in legitimate self-defence to meet violence with violence. In such a case the use of violence leading to death is permitted and may be called for, as it is in the case of killing an armed enemy.
No: these unfortunate patients are to die, not for some such reason as this but because in the judgment of some official body, on the decision of some committee, they have become “unworthy to live,” because they are classed as “unproductive members of the national community”.
The judgment is that they can no longer produce any goods: they are like an old piece of machinery which no longer works, like an old horse which has become incurably lame, like a cow which no longer gives any milk. What happens to an old piece of machinery? It is thrown on the scrap heap. What happens to a lame horse, an unproductive cow?
I will not pursue the comparison to the end, so fearful is its appropriateness and its illuminating power.
But we are not here concerned with pieces of machinery; we are not dealing with horses and cows, whose sole function is to serve mankind, to produce goods for mankind. They may be broken up; they may be slaughtered when they no longer perform this function.
No: We are concerned with men and women, our fellow creatures, our brothers and sisters! Poor human beings, ill human beings, they are unproductive, if you will. But does that mean that they have lost the right to live? Have you, have I, the right to live only so long as we are productive, so long as we are recognised by others as productive?
If the principle that men is entitled to kill his unproductive fellow-man is established and applied, then woe betide all of us when we become aged and infirm! If it is legitimate to kill unproductive members of the community, woe betide the disabled who have sacrificed their health or their limbs in the productive process! If unproductive men and women can be disposed of by violent means, woe betide our brave soldiers who return home with major disabilities as cripples, as invalids! If it is once admitted that men have the right to kill “unproductive” fellow-men even though it is at present applied only to poor and defenceless mentally ill patients ” then the way is open for the murder of all unproductive men and women: the incurably ill, the handicapped who are unable to work, those disabled in industry or war. The way is open, indeed, for the murder of all of us when we become old and infirm and therefore unproductive. Then it will require only a secret order to be issued that the procedure which has been tried and tested with the mentally ill should be extended to other “unproductive” persons, that it should also be applied to those suffering from incurable tuberculosis, the aged and infirm, persons disabled in industry, soldiers with disabling injuries!
Then no man will be safe: some committee or other will be able to put him on the list of “unproductive” persons, who in their judgment have become “unworthy to live”. And there will be no police to protect him, no court to avenge his murder and bring his murderers to justice.
Who could then have any confidence in a doctor? He might report a patient as unproductive and then be given instructions to kill him! It does not bear thinking of, the moral depravity, the universal mistrust which will spread even in the bosom of the family, if this terrible doctrine is tolerated, accepted and put into practice. Woe betide mankind, woe betide our German people, if the divine commandment, “Thou shalt not kill”, which the Lord proclaimed on Sinai amid thunder and lightning, which God our Creator wrote into man's conscience from the beginning, if this commandment is not merely violated but the violation is tolerated and remains unpunished! (Three Sermons of Bishop Clemens von Galen.)
Anyone who thinks that the nihilism of “Black Lives Matter” and their program of actual and cultural violence against persons and destruction of property, up to and including the vandalizing of statues of the Mother of God and of Catholic church buildings because of a hatred of the Holy Faith in general, is the worst thing that is going to happen to us in the ensuing years no matter what happens on Tuesday, November 4, 2020, is in for quite a rude awakening as the Red Chinese, whose stealth agents have been in this country for decades now, are ready and poised to submit us to their Maoist designs to which most Americans will submit as readily as they have submitted to dehumanizing orders about “masks” and “social distancing” that have made us a nation, if not a world, of faceless as well as nameless “units of production” who are expendable whenever they are deemed to be “unworthy of living.”
The State of Texas, although freer than most of the United States of America, does authorize death panels to ration medical treatment and, in many instances, to deny any kind of legitimate treatment altogether, sadly making the case of Michael Hickson far more common than is widely known:
The situation was not always as dire in this rural South Texas county.
Starr County once went about three weeks without a COVID-19 case at the beginning of the pandemic. It banned large gatherings, tested hundreds of residents a day, issued stay-at-home orders and required face masks — many of the same mandates now commonplace across the U.S. The poor and mostly Latino county on the Mexico border was containing COVID-19.
“A model for the country,” Starr County Judge Eloy Vera said Tuesday — as he shared an update that now appears gloomy.
In April, its aggressive and successful approach to beating the coronavirus was spotlighted by NBC News.
“We are very proud at this point that our numbers are very low, considering we are an at-risk population and the disparity in medical services and our low socio-economic population,” Joel Villareal, mayor of county seat Rio Grande City, told NBC News. “We rank as one of the poorest counties in the nation. However, that does not deter us.”
But after Gov. Greg Abbott issued orders for the reopening of the state, overriding local control and decision-making, COVID-19 cases surged.
ow Starr County is at a dangerous “tipping point,” reporting an alarming number of new cases each day, data show. Starr County Memorial Hospital — the county’s only hospital — is overflowing with COVID-19 patients.
The county has been forced to form what is being compared to a so-called “death panel.” A county health board – which governs Starr Memorial – is set to authorize critical care guidelines Thursday that will help medical workers determine ways to allocate scarce medical resources on patients with the best chance to survive.
A committee will deem which COVID-19 patients are likely to die and send them home with family, Jose Vasquez, the county health authority, said during a news conference Tuesday.
“The situation is desperate,” Vasquez said. “We cannot continue functioning in the Starr County Memorial Hospital nor in our county in the way that things are going. The numbers are staggering.”
Starr County, with a population of about 61,000, is located in the Rio Grande Valley about 230 miles south of San Antonio. It has more than 1,700 confirmed coronavirus cases and 17 deaths as of Friday, according to the county. Vasquez told The Monitor there are more than 32 more pending confirmation by the state.
Per 100,000 people, Starr County has reported about 92 cases a day over the past week — the 11th highest rate in Texas, data compiled by Harvard Global Health Institute show.
Starr Memorial quickly filled up its eight-bed COVID-19 unit after the state began reopening and expanded to 17 beds, Vasquez said. It expanded again to 29 beds when state officials sent medical workers to the county.
On Sunday, Gov. Abbott announced U.S. Navy teams will go to South Texas to provide medical assistance, including the hospital in Starr County.
Still, the new committee will be necessary, officials say. The hospital transfers COVID-19 patients daily to other counties and even out-of-state, but those hospital beds are filling up, Vasquez said.
“For all of those patients that most certainly do not have any hope of improving, they are going to be better taken care of within their own family in the love of their own home rather than thousands of miles away dying alone in a hospital room,” he said.
As the situation has gone from promising at beginning of the pandemic to desperate, the county judge reinstated a stay-at-home order and curfew on Friday. Another order will delay in-class school instruction until Sept. 27.
“Unfortunately, Starr County Memorial Hospital has limited resources and our doctors are going to have to decide who receives treatment, and who is sent home to die by their loved ones,” Vera said when announcing the orders this week. “This is what we did not want our community to experience.” (Patients with Covid-19 Deemed Too Sick to Treat Will be Sent Home to to Die.)
Although it remains unclear whether the protocol for patients deemed by Star County, Texas, medical personnel to be "too sick to treat" will simply be sent home to die includes recommending giving them "comfort care" to expedite their deaths as a means to fulfill their "diagnoses," the likelihood is, of course, that this is the case as "palliative" care is embeded into every fabric of the global heathcare industry (see Chronicling the Adversary's Global Takeover of the Healthcare Industry). Utilitarianism, not the authentic care and compassion exhibited by Catholic saints and those who followed their examples when looking after the sick and plague-stricken, is the law of the land in the deathcare industry throughout the world.
Third, speaking of the Red Chinese, as I had just above, the Issues and Insights editorial quoted above omitted any mention of the now very established fact that the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus is a weakened version of a biological weapon that leaked out of a BSL-4 laboratory in Wuhan late last year and was then exported to the rest of the world by Xi Jinping’s decision to send as many Chinese nationals as possible from Wuhan to other countries, especially the United States of America, to wreak a maximum amount of havoc, thus creating the “perfect storm” by which the plans discussed at “Event 201” nine months ago could be implemented to instill fear in the American populace, destroy the American economy and to take down the presidency of Donald John Trump. This is a plandemic, not a pandemic.
A whistleblowing virologist from Red China explained that Xi Jinping’s band of murderous thugs knew about the virus and deliberately covered up its own responsibility, although she does not see the totality of what her country’s oligarchical tyrants sought to accomplish by doing so:
Hours before she boarded an April 28 Cathay Pacific flight to the United States, the respected doctor who specialized in virology and immunology at the Hong Kong School of Public Health had plotted her escape, packing her bag and sneaking past the censors and video cameras on campus.
She had her passport and her purse and was about to leave all of her loved ones behind. If she was caught, she knew she could be thrown in jail -- or, worse, rendered one of the "disappeared."
Yan told Fox News in an exclusive interview that she believes the Chinese government knew about the novel coronavirus well before it claimed it did. She says her supervisors, renowned as some of the top experts in the field, also ignored research she was doing at the onset of the pandemic that she believes could have saved lives.
She adds that they likely had an obligation to tell the world, given their status as a World Health Organization reference laboratory specializing in influenza viruses and pandemics, especially as the virus began spreading in the early days of 2020.
Yan, now in hiding, claims the government in the country where she was born is trying to shred her reputation and accuses government goons of choreographing a cyber-attack against her in hopes of keeping her quiet.
Yan believes her life is in danger. She fears she can never go back to her home and lives with the hard truth that she’ll likely never see her friends or family there again.
Still, she says, the risk is worth it.
"The reason I came to the U.S. is because I deliver the message of the truth of COVID," she told Fox News from an undisclosed location.
She added that if she tried to tell her story in China, she "will be disappeared and killed."
Yan's story weaves an extraordinary claim about cover-ups at the highest levels of government and seemingly exposes the obsessive compulsion of President Xi Jinping and his Communist Party to control the coronavirus narrative: what China knew, when it knew it and what edited information it peddled to the rest of the world.
Yan, who says she was one of the first scientists in the world to study the novel coronavirus, was allegedly asked by her supervisor at the University/WHO reference lab, Dr. Leo Poon, in 2019 to look into the odd cluster of SARS-like cases coming out of mainland China at the end of December 2019.
"The China government refused to let overseas experts, including ones in Hong Kong, do research in China," she said. "So I turned to my friends to get more information."
Yan had an extensive network of professional contacts in various medical facilities in mainland China, having grown up and completed much of her studies there. She says that is the precise reason she was asked to conduct this kind of research, especially at a time when she says her team knew they weren’t getting the whole truth from the government.
One friend, a scientist at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in China, had first-hand knowledge of the cases and purportedly told Yan on Dec. 31 about human-to-human transmission well before China or the WHO admitted such spread was possible.
She reported some of these early findings back to her boss, Yan said.
"He just nodded," she recalled, and told her to keep working.
A few days later, on Jan. 9, 2020, the WHO put out a statement: "According to Chinese authorities, the virus in question can cause severe illness in some patients and does not transmit readily between people... There is limited information to determine the overall risk of this reported cluster.”
Yan said she and her colleagues across China discussed the peculiar virus but that she soon noted a sharp shift in tone.
Doctors and researchers who had been openly discussing the virus suddenly clammed up. Those from the city of Wuhan--which later would become the hub of the outbreak--went silent and others were warned not to ask them details.
The doctors said, ominously, "We can't talk about it, but we need to wear masks,'" Yan said.
Then the numbers of human-to-human transmission began to grow exponentially, according to her sources, and Yan started digging for answers.
"There are many, many patients who don't get treatment on time and diagnosis on time," Yan said. "Hospital doctors are scared, but they cannot talk. CDC staff are scared."
She said she reported her findings to her supervisor again on Jan. 16 but that's when he allegedly told her "to keep silent, and be careful."
"As he warned me before, 'Don't touch the red line,'" Yan said referring to the government. "We will get in trouble and we'll be disappeared."
She also claims the co-director of a WHO-affiliated lab, Professor Malik Peiris, knew but didn't do anything about it.
Peiris also did not respond to requests for comment. The WHO website lists Peiris as an "adviser" on the WHO International Health Regulations Emergency Committee for Pneumonia due to the Novel Coronavirus 2019-nCoV.
Yan was frustrated, but not surprised.
The WHO and China have vehemently denied claims of a coronavirus cover-up.
The WHO has also denied that Yan, Poon or Peiris ever worked directly for the organization.
"Professor Malik Peiris is an infectious disease expert who has been on WHO missions and expert groups - as are many people eminent in their fields," WHO spokeswoman Margaret Ann Harris said in an email. "That does not make him a WHO staff member, nor does he represent WHO
Yan says despite any pushback, she has been emboldened by a sense of right and wrong and says she had to speak up despite the personal and professional consequences.
"I know how they treat whistleblowers," she said.
Like so many before her, once Yan decided to speak out against China, she discovered her life was apparently in jeopardy, as well as that of those closest to her.
It was a fear directly relayed to her and seemingly confirmed by U.S.-based Hong Kong blogger Lu Deh, she says.
After she shared some of her theories and suspicions with him, he told her she would need to relocate, perhaps to the United States, where she wouldn't have to constantly look over her shoulder. Only then would she be safe and have a platform to speak, he said.
Yan made the decision to leave, but things got complicated when her husband of six years, who also worked at her lab, discovered the telephone call between his wife and the blogger.
Shocked and hurt, Yan made the decision to leave without him.
She got her ticket to the U.S. on April 27. She was on a flight the next day.
When she landed at Los Angeles International Airport after her 13-hour journey, she was stopped by customs officials.
Fear gripped her and Yan didn't know if she would end up in jail or be sent back to China.
"I had to tell them the truth," she said. "I'm doing the right thing. So I tell them that 'don't let me go back to China. I'm the one who came to tell the truth here of COVID-19... And please protect me. If not, the China government will kill me." (Chinese Virologist Who Exposed Coronavirus Cover-Up Flees Hong Kong.)
Although Dr. Yan is wrong about the wearing of masks, she has first-hand knowledge of how the Chicoms covered up the origins of their China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus and the complicity of the Chicoms’ wholly controlled subsidiary, the World Health Organization, in their campaign of disinformation aimed at destroying killing Western lives and destroying Western economies while seeking to shift the problem for this on President Trump.
United States Secretary of State Michael Pompeo stated again two days ago, on Thursday, July 16, 2020, the Commemoration of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, that the Red Chinese government and their stooges in the World Health Organization worked as one to manipulate information thus deceive Western leaders and their citizens:
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told "Bill Hemmer Reports" Thursday that the Chinese government "was aware of human-to-human transmission" of the coronavirus "before they shared this with the world."
Hemmer had asked Pompeo to comment on claims by Hong Kong-based virologist Dr. Yan Li-Meng, who recently fled to the United States, that Beijing knew that the virus could spread between humans three weeks before that knowledge was made public.
Pompeo added Thursday that "the World Health Organization itself was co-opted into the same effort to deny the world the knowledge it needed to respond to this threat, to this threat from the virus that emanated from Wuhan, China."
"I can see nations who are doing business in China who are rethinking about how to do that," he told Hemmer Thursday. "If you are buying products that are a result of the slave labor that's happening in the western part of China, if you're a country that's bent the knee to China because they tried to come fish in your waters that are rightly yours ... I can see nations all around the world that are reasserting their claims, their sovereignty.
"And of course President Trump's done that here too," Pompeo added. "For 40 years -- this isn't partisan, Bill -- for 40 years, we've had administrations that have just looked the other way and allowed China to trample on us. President Trump said, 'No more'."
"Countries, not only in Southeast Asia, but in Asia more broadly ... have come to understand the threat that the Chinese Communist Party presents. The United States slept on this for too long. I think they all did too and I think they're coming to a joint conclusion that it's time for the world to make sure that we get this right. For democracies and freedom-loving people around the world, it is an imperative that we push back against the challenge that the Chinese Communist Party presents to us all." (Secretary Pompeo on the Red Chinese Knowledge of the Human Transmissionof the Coronavirus.)
Readers of this site will remember that Dr. Francis Boyle of the University of Illinois, Urban, Illinois, was among the first to provide his expert analysis of Red China’s role in developing biological weapons and how the weakened China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus spread from Red China to the rest of the world:
FB: Well, that’s a lot of questions. I guess we can take them one at a time. But if you just do a very simple Google search on “Does China have a BSL-4 laboratory?”, Wuhan comes up right away. It’s at the top of the list. At the moment this type of thing happened I began to do that. So a BSL-4 is the most serious type. And basically, BSL-4 labs, we have many of them here in the United States, are used to develop offensive biological warfare weapons with DNA genetic engineering.
So it does seem to me that the Wuhan BSL-4 is the source of the coronavirus. my guess is that they were researching SARS, and they weaponised it further by giving it gain of function properties, which means it could be more lethal. And indeed, the latest report now is [that] it’s 15% fatality rate, which is more than SARS at 83% infection rate. So, typical gain of function. It travels in the air, so it could reach out maybe six feet or more from someone emitting a sneeze or a cough. Likewise, this is a specially designated WHO research lab. So the WHO is in on it and they knew full well what was going on there.
Yes, it’s also been reported that Chinese scientists stole coronavirus materials from the Canadian lab at Winnipeg. Winnipeg is Canada’s foremost centre for research, developing, testing, biological warfare weapons. It’s along the lines of Fort Detrick here in the United States of America. I have three degrees from Harvard. It would not surprise me if something was being stolen out of Harvard to turn over to China. I read that report. I don’t know what was in those vials one way or the other.
But the bottom line is — and I drafted the US domestic implementing legislation for the Biological Weapons Convention that was approved unanimously by both Houses of the United States Congress, signed into law by President Bush Sr. — that it appears the coronavirus that we’re dealing with here is an offensive biological warfare weapon that leaked out of that Wuhan BSL-4. I’m not saying it was done deliberately. But there have been previous reports of problems with that lab and things leaking out of it. And I’m afraid, that is what we are dealing with today. (The Coronavirus Cover-up, published in Christian Order, March 2020, issue. For ordering information, please see Christian Order.)
Dr. Boyle’s studied conclusions after years of expertise in this field are slowly being reached by others, although most of those who now admit that the evidence about the Chinese/China/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus is pointing toward BSL-4, although most in the mainslime media do not want to admit that the laboratory exists for one reason: to manufactured biological weapons. Almost everyone in the employ of the mainslime media is an apologist for Xi Jinping and his Chicom policies of censorship of criticism, kidnapping, imprisonment, torture and, in all likelihood, the execution of outspoken political critics, especially scientists in Red China who have attempted to speak out about the criminal activities of Xi Jinping and his band of Maoist thugs in covering up the origins of the Wuhan/China/Chinese/Covid-19/Coronavirus as they were using their stooges at the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) and amongst the ranks of Congressional Democrats and the intelligentsia/commentariat class in the United States of America to place the blame on President Donald John Trump and his administration for the spread of the virus.
Red China is waging high-scale biological, scientific and technological warfare against the United States of America, and the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus is just part of a larger policy of undermining American security from within the borders of this country and with the willing help of universities, colleges, public schools, the mainslime media, the entertainment industry, the medical/pharmaceutical industries and many—as in many—American politicians of both major organized crime families of the United States of America, especially within the ranks of the false opposite of the naturalist “left.”
The Red Chinese effort to subvert the United States of America from within is vast and well-coordinated, something that United States Attorney General William Barr explained in an address at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Wednesday, July 16, 2020, the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel:
Several weeks ago, National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien spoke about the CCP’s ideology and global ambitions. He declared, and I agree, that “[t]he days of American passivity and naivety regarding the People’s Republic of China are over.”[1] Last week, FBI Director Chris Wray described how the CCP pursues its ambitions through nefarious and even illegal conduct, including industrial espionage, theft, extortion, cyberattacks, and malign influence activities.[2] In the coming days, you will hear from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who will sum up what is at stake for the United States and the free world. I hope these speeches will inspire the American people to reevaluate their relationship with China, so long as it continues to be ruled by the Communist Party.
It is fitting that we are here today at the Ford Presidential Museum. Gerald Ford served at the highest echelons of our government at the dawn of America’s reengagement with the People’s Republic of China, which began with President Nixon’s historic visit in 1972. Three years later, in 1975, President Ford visited China for a summit with PRC leaders, including Mao Zedong.
At the time, it was unthinkable that China would emerge after the Cold War as a near-peer competitor of the United States. Yet even then, there were signs of China’s immense latent power. In the joint report of their visit to China in 1972, House Majority Leader Hale Boggs and then-Minority Leader Ford wrote: “If she manages to achieve as she aspires, China in the next half century can emerge a self-sufficient power of a billion people …. This last impression—of the reality of China’s colossal potential—is perhaps the most vivid of our journey. As our small party traveled through that boundless land, this sense of a giant stirring, a dragon waking, gave us much to ponder.”[3] It is now nearly fifty years later, and the prescient ponderings of these two congressmen have come to pass.
Deng Xiaoping, whose economic reforms launched China’s remarkable rise, had a famous motto: “hide your strength and bide your time.”[4] That is precisely what China has done. China’s economy has quietly grown from about 2 percent of the world’s GDP in 1980 to nearly 20 percent today. By some estimates, based on purchasing power parity, the Chinese economy is already larger than ours. The General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, Xi Jinping, who has centralized power to a degree not seen since the dictatorship of Mao Zedong, now speaks openly of China moving “closer to center stage,” “building a socialism that is superior to capitalism,” and replacing the American Dream with the “Chinese solution.”[5] China is no longer hiding its strength, nor biding its time. From the perspective of its communist rulers, China’s time has arrived.
The People’s Republic of China is now engaged in an economic blitzkrieg—an aggressive, orchestrated, whole-of-government (indeed, whole-of-society) campaign to seize the commanding heights of the global economy and to surpass the United States as the world’s preeminent superpower. A centerpiece of this effort is the Communist Party’s “Made in China 2025” initiative, a plan for PRC domination of high-tech industries like robotics, advanced information technology, aviation, and electric vehicles. Backed by hundreds of billions of dollars in subsidies, this initiative poses a real threat to U.S. technological leadership. Despite World Trade Organization rules prohibiting quotas for domestic output, “Made in China 2025” sets targets for domestic market share (sometimes as high as 70 percent) in core components and basic materials for industries such as robotics and telecommunications. It is clear that the PRC seeks not merely to join the ranks of other advanced industrial economies, but to replace them altogether.
“Made in China 2025” is the latest iteration of the PRC’s state-led, mercantilist economic model. For American companies in the global marketplace, free and fair competition with China has long been a fantasy. To tilt the playing field to its advantage, China’s communist government has perfected a wide array of predatory and often unlawful tactics: currency manipulation, tariffs, quotas, state-led strategic investment and acquisitions, theft and forced transfer of intellectual property, state subsidies, dumping, cyberattacks, and espionage. About 80% of all federal economic espionage prosecutions have alleged conduct that would benefit the Chinese state, and about 60% of all trade secret theft cases have had a nexus to China.
The PRC also seeks to dominate key trade routes and infrastructure in Eurasia, Africa, and the Pacific. In the South China Sea, for example, through which about one-third of the world’s maritime trade passes, the PRC has asserted expansive and historically dubious claims to nearly the entire waterway, flouted the rulings of international courts, built artificial islands and placed military outposts on them, and harassed its neighbors’ ships and fishing boats.
Another ambitious project to spread its power and influence is the PRC’s “Belt and Road” infrastructure initiative. Although billed as “foreign aid,” in fact these investments appear designed to serve the PRC’s strategic interests and domestic economic needs. For example, the PRC has been criticized for loading poor countries up with debt, refusing to renegotiate terms, and then taking control of the infrastructure itself, as it did with the Sri Lankan port of Hambantota in 2017. This is little more than a form of modern-day colonialism. (Remarks of United States Attorney Genearl William Barr at Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum. This speech can be found in its entirety in Appendix B below.)
Attorney General Barr’s analysis of the CCP’s plans for world domination, which include the destabilization of the United States by means of a biological weapon that was developed first here before being developed further by the BSL-4 in Wuhan, Red China, are quite accurate, but fail to mention the brutal suppression of the underground Catholics whose have been sold out to the Chicoms by Jorge Mario Bergoglio under his stage name of “Pope Francis.” Barr’s analysis does not even include the Chicoms’ forced population control policies upon the Uyghur and Kazakh minorities in the Western part of Red China that are meant to supplant them with ethnic Chinese once enough of them have been eliminated over time. (See Appendix C for an article by Mr. Steven Mosher, the founder of the Population Research Institute about this travesty.)
Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Chicoms
It is thus irresponsible for anyone to overlook the thoroughly treacherous role played by the Red Chinese in the development of a biological weapon that is said to have “leaked” out of a “Biosafety” Laboratory in Wuhan, Red China, late last year. It is also irresponsible for anyone overlook the treacherous role that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Director of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, played in working with the BSL-4 in Wuhan in development a novel coronavirus biological weapon in violation of a directive that had been issued by then President (and current coup coordinator) Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro in 2013. Let me, therefore, reprise the proof about Fauci’s treachery as provided in part three of this series:
Following recent biosafety incidents at Federal research facilities, the U.S. Government has taken a number of steps to promote and enhance the Nation’s biosafety and biosecurity, including immediate and longer term measures to review activities specifically related to the storage and handling of infectious agents.
As part of this review, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and Department of Health and Human Services today announced that the U.S. Government is launching a deliberative process to assess the potential risks and benefits associated with a subset of life sciences research known as “gain-of-function” studies. With an ultimate goal of better understanding disease pathways, gain-of-function studies aim to increase the ability of infectious agents to cause disease by enhancing its pathogenicity or by increasing its transmissibility.
Because the deliberative process launching today will aim to address key questions about the risks and benefits of gain-of-function studies, during the period of deliberation, the U.S. Government will institute a pause on funding for any new studies that include certain gain-of-function experiments involving influenza, SARS, and MERS viruses. Specifically, the funding pause will apply to gain-of-function research projects that may be reasonably anticipated to confer attributes to influenza, MERS, or SARS viruses such that the virus would have enhanced pathogenicity and/or transmissibility in mammals via the respiratory route.
During this pause, the U.S. Government will not fund any new projects involving these experiments and encourages those currently conducting this type of work – whether federally funded or not – to voluntarily pause their research while risks and benefits are being reassessed. The funding pause will not apply to the characterization or testing of naturally occurring influenza, MERS, and SARS viruses unless there is a reasonable expectation that these tests would increase transmissibility or pathogenicity. (Obama White House Archives: Doing Dilgence to Assess Risks and Life Sciences Gain of Function Resarch.)
Well, guess who arranged for the transfer of $3.7 billion from the National Institutes of Health to Wuhan BSL-4?
That’s right, Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Dr., Rashid Buttar is featured in the Bollingers’ video as saying the following about Fauci’s actions:
“[The] Government passed a moratorium on coronavirus research in 2014. Fauci approved monies and budgets to be sectioned for this type of research. So basically, and every time I think about this it gets me really flustered, I’m so angry. He [Fauci] basically broke the law. He more than broke the law. He created [the entire scenario back in 2015] that caused the world shutdown. He broke the law. He went against government moratoriums, he took taxpayer money and funded research that has now led to the Covid-19.
“In 2017, he [Fauci] was documented at Georgetown University saying that there will be a pandemic that this presidency will face, that this term will face. How did he know in 2017 that something was going to happen in 2018, 2019, or 2020? You can’t predict the market three days from today. How did he know that there was going to be a pandemic? He stated that this president will face a pandemic.” (W.H.O’s Not Telling the Truth.)
Here is a report on what Fauci said at Georgetown University in 2017:
‘If there’s one message that I want to leave with you today that is based on my experience… there is no question that there will be a challenge [for] the coming administration in the arena of infectious diseases.
‘But also there will be a surprise outbreak…there is no doubt in anyone’s mind [the administration] will be faced with challenges their predecessors were faced with.’
Dr. Fauci, who served under five presidential administrations, later added that he cautioned former President George W. Bush to be more concerned with a potential ‘influenza pandemic’ than bioterrorism.
‘I worry more about the natural occurrence of an influenza pandemic and the ongoing plague of HIV than I do about a bio-terror attack,’ he said, adding that people should pay attention to natural causes.
In regards to the Trump administration, Fauci mentioned possible challenges that included a resurgence in the Zika Virus or a new flu pandemic.
He said: ‘What is for sure…history has told us definitively that it will happen because infectious diseases [are] a perpetual challenge.’ (Fauci Revealed His Fears of a "Surprise Outbreak" Three Years Before the Pandemic.)
Anthony Fauci has worked with the Wuhan BSL-4 for the past several years on the coronavirus.
A new flu pandemic?
The consummate performance art “expert,” Dr. Anthony Fauci, who will probably be campaigning with Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., if he decides to leave his position given the criticism he has received from White House officials, took his self-fulfilling fear-mongering to new heights when he compared the current “pandemic” with the 1918 Spanish influenza pandemic at the same venue he gave his remarks in 2017, Georgetown University, on Monday, July 14, 2020. This hyperbolic overreach drew a rebuke from White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, who was also upset with Peter Navarro’s blanket criticism of the “trust your medical experts” Fauci:
White House chief of staff Mark Meadows said on Thursday that Anthony Fauci was wrong to liken the coronavirus to the 1918 flu pandemic, calling his remarks “false” and “irresponsible.”
Meadows made the comments on Fox News after rebuking White House trade adviser Peter Navarro’s decision to pen an op-ed criticizing Fauci, the top U.S. infectious disease expert, which the chief of staff said was “not appropriate.”
Meadows went on to argue that not everything that Fauci says is correct.
He was at Georgetown the other day and he suggested that this virus was worse or as bad as the 1918 flu epidemic. And I can tell you that not only is that false, it is irresponsible to suggest so,” Meadows told Fox News’s Martha MacCallum. “Listen, we all say things and do things that we wish that we hadn’t done.”
“My understanding is Dr. Fauci is walking that back and telling the American people that that was not accurate and not based on science,” Meadows continued. A spokesperson for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which Fauci directs, did not immediately return a request for comment.
Meadows was referring to remarks Fauci made Tuesday during a Georgetown University Global Health Initiative webinar during which he described the coronavirus as a “pandemic of historic proportions” and suggested it was possible the coronavirus could approach the “seriousness” of the 1918 pandemic.
“Right now if you look at the magnitude of the 1918 pandemic where anywhere from 50 to 75 to 100 million people died, I mean that was the mother of all pandemics and truly historic. I hope we don't even approach that with this, but it does have the makings of the possibility of … approaching that in seriousness, though I hope that the kinds of interventions that we're going to be, and are implementing would not allow that to happen,” Fauci said.
Fauci said the two pandemics are also similar because they were caused by new viruses that jumped from animals to humans and that were also highly transmissible between people.
here have been more than 13.7 million cases of the coronavirus recorded globally and more than 588,000 deaths, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
Fauci, a key member of the White House coronavirus task force, has faced criticism from White House aides in recent days, including Navarro and White House deputy chief of staff and social media director Dan Scavino, who posted a cartoon mocking the top health official to his Facebook page.
A White House official also circulated a list of “mistakes” Fauci has made to news outlets over the weekend, including his March statement there was no need for people to wear face coverings. Fauci and other public health experts have shifted their opinions on masks since evidence showed that asymptomatic individuals could spread the virus. Fauci described the criticism as “bizarre” in an interview with The Atlantic.
Fauci has been a key public health voice amid the coronavirus pandemic, offering unvarnished assessments of the threat presented by COVID-19 that have cut against more rosy pronouncements from President Trump and the White House. Fauci at times has contradicted Trump’s public statements without directly criticizing the president.
Navarro’s extraordinary op-ed published in USA Today on Tuesday explained his disagreements with Fauci’s opinions and suggested his advice should be taken with “skepticism and caution.”
The White House communications operation sought to distance itself from the piece, saying it did not undergo normal clearance processes. Both Trump and Meadows have publicly criticized Navarro for the move.
"He made a statement representing himself,” Trump told reporters of Navarro at the White House prior to leaving for a trip to Georgia on Wednesday. “He shouldn't be doing that. No, I have a very good relationship with Anthony.”
Meadows on Thursday said that the White House has “a lot of people that have a lot of different opinions” and expressed hope that they would find a way to work together to “make the priority the American people going forward.”
Trump at times has expressed disagreement with Fauci. That includes last week, when Trump said in an interview he disagreed with Fauci’s assessment the United States is still “knee deep in the first wave” of the coronavirus.
States like Arizona, Texas, California and Florida have experienced a worrying surge in cases in recent weeks, causing states to roll back plans to reopen businesses. (Mark Meadows: Fauci Wrong to Compare Coronavirus to the 1918 Influenza Pandemic.)
Dr. Anthony Fauci is a self-promoting fearmonger. Contrary to the distance that Mark Meadows placed between himself and at White House Director of Trade and Manufacturing Policy Peter Navarro’s op-ed column in USA Today, all criticism of Fauci the Fearmonger is fully justified, including the following comments written by Dr. Peter Navarro:
Dr. Anthony Fauci has a good bedside manner with the public, but he has been wrong about everything I have interacted with him on.
In late January, when I was making the case on behalf of the president to take down the flights from China, Fauci fought against the president’s courageous decision — which might well have saved hundreds of thousands of American lives.
When I warned in late January in a memo of a possibly deadly pandemic, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases was telling the news media not to worry.
When I was working feverishly on behalf of the president in February to help engineer the fastest industrial mobilization of the health care sector in our history, Fauci was still telling the public the China virus was low risk.
When we were building new mask capacity in record time, Fauci was flip-flopping on the use of masks.
And when Fauci was telling the White House Coronavirus Task Force that there was only anecdotal evidence in support of hydroxychloroquine to fight the virus, I confronted him with scientific studies providing evidence of safety and efficacy. A recent Detroit hospital study showed a 50% reduction in the mortality rate when the medicine is used in early treatment.
Now Fauci says a falling mortality rate doesn’t matter when it is the single most important statistic to help guide the pace of our economic reopening. The lower the mortality rate, the faster and more we can open.
So when you ask me whether I listen to Dr. Fauci’s advice, my answer is: only with skepticism and caution. (Dr. Peter Navarro on Anthony Fauci's Mistaken Prediction.)
Dr. Anthony Fauci is an ideologue, a man beholden to Bill Gates, an enemy of mankind’s, and who will stop at nothing to promote himself by fanning the flames of a plandemic whose seeds he helped to plant and from which his ally, Gates, stands to profit handsomely once a vaccination and mandated. Dr. Peter Navarro was quite correct in his criticism of Fauci, who, it should be remembered, was responsible for the jailing of a scientist, Dr. Judy Mikovits who discovered that a vaccine he, Fauci, had guaranteed as being safe was actually quite dangerous:
The Bollingers’ video also featured the nefarious activities of the ubiquitous Dr. Anthony Fauci, who, as noted earlier in this commentary, is on the leadership council of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and who silenced Dr. Judy Mikovits at the Whittemore Peterson Institute in 2011 when she discovered that the a mouse retrovirus, XXMRV, had contaminated the MMR [measles, mumps, rubella), polio and encephalitis vaccines that are given to children and soldiers, thus causing a national health crisis.
Dr. Mikovits’s studies and her research were confiscated, and she was eventually sent to jail, briefly, before dismisses against her were dismissed by the district attorney of Washoe County, Nevada, for refusing to sign a document in which she disowned her findings. These are her own words as contained in the Bollingers’ video:
What Tony Fauci, Iam Lipkin and Harold Varmus did was pressure me to withdraw our manuscript. I refused again.” (W.H.O’s Not Telling the Truth.)
The Bollingers noted that Anthony Fauci gave his own career vaccine program priority above the safety and health of Americans.
Dr. Mikovits went on to say:
“When I refused to be silent, Dr. Fauci stepped in and ordered that my computer and notebooks be confiscated and orchestrated the retraction of our science paper [that had been published in Science magazine, which is published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science]. He then removed all my funding and prevented me from getting a job in government research from 2012 forward.” (W.H.O’s Not Telling the Truth.)
I highly recommend readers of this site to learn more about what Dr. Anthony Fauci did to Dr. Deborah Mikovits, who has much to say also about how Fauci is spreading propaganda now, by watching: Plandemic Movie Trailer Restored. (The original link no longer works because the Google/You Tube censors have taken it down. A friend who reads this site occasionally provided me a link to the restored video, although the man on whose site the link exists currently misspelled Dr. Mikovits's name as "Michovitz." Dr. Mikovits has also co-authored a book on her experiences: Plague: One Scientist's Intrepid Search for Truth About Human Retroviruses and Chronic Fatigue Syndrom (ME/CFS) Autism, and Other Diseases.)
It is clear, the Bollingers noted, that Dr. Fauci abused his power and misused his office.
Dr. Anthony Fauci is a dangerous deep state operative and, to make matters worse than they are, he is positioning himself to become the next head of either the Centers for Disease Control or the next secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services under a “President” Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.
David Stockman, who was the Director of the Office of Management and the Budget under President Ronald Wilson Reagan from January 21, 1981, to August 1, 1985, wrote the following about Anthony Fauci’s program for social control:
The key point, however, is that this whole unspeakable Lockdown Folly does not remotely stem from the “science”, as the MSM supporters of Fauci claim.
It’s just a hair-brained experiment in social control that happened because the Donald was too weak, ill-informed, distracted and enumerate to send Fauci and his camarilla of doctors and vaccine-peddlers packing when the mid-March guidelines were first issued by the CDC.
Yes, the Donald’s political enemies in the ranks of big city mayors and Blue State governors have feasted upon the chum Fauci & Co have persistently tossed into the fetid waters of national politics, but that doesn’t let Trump off the hook.
If the truth be told, this is the Trump Lockdown Folly and ranks among the greatest blunders ever committed by a US President. That’s because even at this late date nearly four months into the resulting economic disaster:
- there is no evidence that asymptomatic persons are transmitters of the virus,
- there is powerful statistical evidence that 95% of the population can cope with the disease and recover if they do become infected.
Yet, the twin pillars of Fauci’s hair-brained social regimentation scheme assumes they very opposite: Namely, that healthy Americans must be put under house arrest because they are silent spreaders and killers of their fellow citizens; and that the disease is so virulent that its #1 enemy – the powerful immune system of every healthy American – cannot be trusted to do its job if the virus is permitted to follow its natural course of contagion and eventual herd immunity.
As to the silent spreaders trope, here is how the very head of WHO’s COVID-19 Task Force, Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, recently explained that transmission of the virus from asymptomatic patients appears to be very rare:
It still seems to be rare that an asymptomatic person actually transmits onward to a secondary individual.”
For crying out loud. That knocks the very rationale for stay-at-home orders to hundreds of millions of healthy citizens into a cocked hat.
In a constitutional democracy, where the liberties and properties of citizens are protected by law, you need overwhelming proof of an existential threat to society before ordering mass house arrests. But in this instance, the head of the WHO task force–the agency that fomented the whole coronavirus hysteria in the first place–has said quite unequivocally: No cigar!
In a word, Dr. Fauci is peddling dangerous humbug under the banner of pseudo-science, and should have been shut-up and forced into retirement long ago. The unfortunate truth, however, is that the Donald is too chicken to use the Fake “your fired” tool that made him a short-lived TV star, if not a successful businessman.

His defenders, of course, mumble that his hands are tied because Fauci is a member of the legally protected Senior Executive Service (SES). That’s Jimmy Carter’s gift to insubordinate bureaucracy, which your editor happily voted against back in the day – but the excuse is poppycock.
Under Federal law, Fauci can be fired if he is found to have engaged in –
“misconduct, neglect of duty, malfeasance, or failure to accept a direct reassignment or to accompany a position in a transfer of function”, is or to be “less than successful [in his] executive performance.”
If not “malfeasance”, what would you call the absolute savaging of the livelihoods and life’s work of tens of millions of American workers and small businessmen for no good reason of state, which have resulted from Fauci’s idiotic pronouncements and guidelines?
The thing is, after four months Fauci’s blatherings and instructions to state and local authorities have fomented an outright public Hysteria of biblical proportions.
It is not just that officialdom has closed restaurants and gyms via unconstitutional “takings” of their owners’ properties. By now, Fauci’s Virus Patrol and its megaphones and misanthropes in the MSM have rendered large portions of the American public fearful about leaving their own homes.
And, needless to say, they have also given the Donald’s legions of rabid political enemies license to stage malign theatrics in the name of Covid-fighting that would be unthinkable under any other circumstances. (David Stockman: The Clown Cars are Fully Loaded and Dr. Fauci is Leading the Parade. Although Stockman’s commentary is very good, readers should remember that he is a rabid pro-abort and supporter of the homosexual collective. In other words, he is a libertarian who believes in the autonomy of mere vessels of clay, something that leaves no room for the true God of Divine Revelation, the Most Blessed Trinity, nor anything to do with the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law or the Natural Law.)
Dr. Anthony Fauci wants this plandemic to continue indefinitely as it elevates his “profile” and empowers him to talk openly about using “comfort care” (i.e., the killing of human beings by means of a variety of pharmaceutical products, otherwise known as “palliative care”) and to rely upon inflated numbers of those who are diagnosed with and/or presumed to continue to pedal fear by means of issuing draconian predictions that never come true. And for this, you see, he gets paid by the taxpayers of the United States of America.
The Numbers Continue to be Inflated
With the fearmongering of Dr. Anthony Fauci and his colleagues continuing unabated during what is claimed to be a “new surge” in the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid19/Coronavirus, it is useful to provide documentation that the “medical professionals” are continuing to inflate the numbers of those who are said to infected with the novel coronavirus and leaving almost entirely unreported the number of false positives and actually negative test results while ignoring entirely the fact that medical facilities have a monetary incentive to list patients as infected with the virus. This is a national phenomenon:
Orlando, Florida—After FOX 35 News noticed errors in the state's report on positivity rates, the Florida Department of Health said that some laboratories have not been reporting negative test result data to the state.
Countless labs have reported a 100 percent positivity rate, which means every single person tested was positive. Other labs had very high positivity rates. FOX 35 News found that testing sites like one local Centra Care reported that 83 people were tested and all tested positive. Then, NCF Diagnostics in Alachua reported 88 percent of tests were positive.
How could that be? FOX 35 News investigated these astronomical numbers, contacting every local location mentioned in the report.
The report showed that Orlando Health had a 98 percent positivity rate. However, when FOX 35 News contacted the hospital, they confirmed errors in the report. Orlando Health's positivity rate is only 9.4 percent, not 98 percent as in the report.
The report also showed that the Orlando Veteran’s Medical Center had a positivity rate of 76 percent. A spokesperson for the VA told FOX 35 News on Tuesday that this does not reflect their numbers and that the positivity rate for the center is actually 6 percent.
FOX 35 News went on to speak with the Florida Department of Health on Tuesday. They confirmed that although private and public laboratories are required to report positive and negative results to the state immediately, some have not. Specifically, they said that some smaller, private labs were not reporting negative test result data to the state.
"The Department immediately began working with those labs to ensure that all results were being reported in order to provide comprehensive and transparent data," a spokesperson for the Florida Department of Health said. "As the state continues to receive results from various labs, the Department will continue educating these labs on proper protocol for reporting COVID-19 test results."
Florida is currently experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases, reporting the state's daily reported cases have gone from about 2,000 a day a month ago to over 12,000. Then, on Tuesday, state health officials reported the largest single-day increase in deaths yet, as 132 more were announced.
Doctors had been predicting that a surge in deaths would follow Florida’s jump in daily reported cases. The growing caseload is partly driven by increased testing, but a larger percentage of tests are coming back positive, jumping from 6 percent a month ago to more than 18 percent.
Almost all people infected with coronavirus survive, but those who do succumb usually die two or more weeks after they are first diagnosed.
While Florida has broken national records for jumps in cases, the state's death toll is nowhere near the national record. When COVID-19 was ravaging New York three months ago, it recorded 799 deaths on April 9 and had a top seven-day average of 763 deaths on April 14. New York now has one of the nation’s lowest death rates per capita, recording 10 per day over the last week.
The latest report from the Florida Department of Health can be viewed below. It includes the positivity rates per lab statewide. (Florida Department of Public Health Says Some Laboratories are Not Reporting Negative Covid-10 Results.)
Another report indicates that Floridians who have never even been tested for the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus are being told that they have "positive" results from tests they never took:
Florida residents are reporting that they have received a positive COVID-19 diagnosis despite never being tested for the virus.
“I got a call asking for me, and they told me that I had tested positive. I was like, ‘Positive for what?” Then, the lady said for COVID, and I said, ‘That’s impossible. I never got tested, Ma’am,’” Mindy Clark said.
Clark entered a line at Manatee County Rural Health Services in Bradenton, FL but left the line after she realized it was for individuals with symptoms only. She received the positive diagnosis although she was never tested.
“I told them they needed to take this off my record, and they said I had to prove it to them that I wasn’t positive,” Clark continued.
Eventually Clark was tested and she tested negative for COVID-19 and antibodies, however, her situation is far from an isolated incident. There are many other people reporting false positives as well.
“It’s such a bad time. These last five months have been so bad. People don’t need these added mistakes. Everyone is already so nervous and trying so hard, and these mistakes are really causing more anxiety in people,” Clark said.
Dr. Jay Wolfson, Public Health & Medicine Professor for the University of South Florida, has a hypothesis for why this may be happening.
“This is part of the testing mechanism problem. People are sitting in their cars, sometimes for hours, or standing in line, six feet apart sometimes for hours. You’re registered though, you’re number 15 in line, and you are Jay Wolfson. If Jay Wolfson says he can’t wait any longer and he leaves, it will get number 15 and now get Rebecca Fernandez, who was standing behind him, and she tests positive, and then everyone from then on gets the wrong results. There has to be a better way to do this,” he explained.
“The trust is real, but the disease is more real. Trust the fact that the disease is real. The data may be confusing, the state has to clean up their act, but the disease is real and very concerning. Protect yourself. Be safe out there. Be safe and be well,” Wolfson added.
Big League Politics has reported on other recent discrepancies that have emerged in Florida regarding COVID-19 cases:
The Florida Department of Health is scrambling after fraud was discovered in how COVID-19 testing rates were being reported across the state.
After the health department released a report showing a stunning statewide positivity rate of 11 percent, analysis of the numbers revealed severe irregularities. Many labs reported 100 percent positivity, meaning that every test came back positive.
In addition to the labs reporting 100 percent positivity, there were other testing facilities that reported abnormal levels of positive tests. FOX 35 found that Centra Care reported that 83 people who submitted tests were all counted as positive. The Orlando Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center reported a 76 percent positivity rate, NCF Diagnostics reported tests at a 88 percent positivity rate, and Orlando Health reported a 98 percent positivity rate.
Orlando Health has admitted that the results from the health department’s report are dubious. They said that their positivity rate was only 9.4 percent, not 98 percent as it was shown in the report. This casts major doubt regarding the accuracy of the total cases that have been reported in Florida.
The fake news has used Florida as an example to bolster their COVID-19 mass hysteria due to all of the supposed cases that were popping up throughout the state.
It may not be a coincidence that all of these COVID-19 reporting mistakes are occurring shortly before the Republican National Convention is set to take place in Jacksonville. (Scamdemic: Floridians Receiving Positive Covid-19 Results Despite Never Being Tested.)
This is all so very fraudulent, and it is one way to continue to stoke the flames of fear that exaggerate the number of actual cases of the hard-to-define China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus that has so many alleged symptoms at this time as to lead a lay observer to conclude that one can be diagnosed with having the disease simply by waking up in the morning as some diagnostician might consider that alone to be an “asymptomatic” indication of a “positive” or “presumed” case. The "experts" are also inflating the numbers by counting as "positive" results the tests of people who have antibodies to the virus, meaning that that had the virus at some point but do not have it currently and thus should not be counted among then numbers of a supposed "dramatic increase" of "new" cases.
This not an exaggeration, something that a commentary dated Monday, July 20, 2020, explained:
Here’s just some of the outrageous tidbits from just the last three days of this week:
“These New Outbreaks Doom Us.” – It is one of the more prevailing messaging points currently. “These spikes are as bad as the original wave.” This is the rationale that they use to reverse the restarts. Gavin Newsom is literally toying with his own residents in California as though they are game pieces. Shutting down most other eateries while specifically allowing his personal favorite to stay open. Allowing counties to already declare that they need to return to at-home learning for the entire 2020-2021 school year. Yet if these outbreaks are evidence of a mass problem why do our numbers not even qualify as technically “epidemic” status any longer? And for those who are being diagnosed doesn’t the fact that we have Hydroxychloroquine, Remdesvir, blood plasma and anti-cholesterols being prescribed with great effectiveness mean something?
“The Outbreak in Texas Is Like New York’s.” – Seemingly every source you turn to the worry expressed about the COVID spike in Texas is discussed in somber tones as though nothing like it has ever been seen. After all 10 to 15 percent of their testing is coming back positive. In almost every story there’s a mention of a hospital somewhere that may soon run out of “capacity.” They also make mention that the death rate has eclipsed its own “high” at least twice in the last couple of weeks at some point. This week they hit the number of 130 dead in a single day. I’m not sure if we are losing track of the fact that people die every day in this nation from all sorts of causes but when you dig deeper you discover that Texas has roughly 542 people die every day from all kinds of causes. Given the fact that 130 died and had COVID-19 in their system (which is still the standard by which the number is counted), this should not strike us as panic-worthy.
The Scandal of Wrongful Attribution Worsens – I started getting word from sources on complete opposite ends of the spectrum late Friday night. In possibly as many as a dozen states, positive antibody tests are being included in said state’s new COVID case numbers. And as one NYC-based physician posted “this is the medical equivalent of double-dipping.” Yes, the positive antibody result indicates the person had COVID-19 at some point. But they also can immediately be counted as fully recovered, and should not be considered a presently confirmed case.
Fear Being Amplified Off of Known Falsehoods – In my bride’s circle on social media, a group of concerned moms have been discussing the worries of whether or not schools should open this fall. There is zero reason why they shouldn’t yet some counties in states have already pulled the plug. In the thread one woman kept referring to cases that “concerned” her. One dealt with a mother who penned a lengthy blog post about how her son had suffered horrific symptoms for 108 days. (None of the symptoms as described had been commonly associated with the known symptoms of COVID-19). Turns out that in the piece the author herself admits that her son tested negative for COVID, and that the physicians treating her son have moved on to other possibilities. Yet the woman referring the article to the group persisted to hold up the woman’s tragic situation with her son as a rationale for not returning society to normal school for the fall.
Dr. Fauci: “New York Did It Right.” – The doublespeak from this one continues to defy credulity. He’s had an amazing ability to reverse course completely on everything from diagnosis, to treatments and now “analysis,” yet without accountability. Ever. He was for Hydroxychloroquine a decade previous, then he was against it, then under cross-examination, he admitted it would be the first treatment he would prescribe. Now to exclaim that New York handled the COVID-19 crisis properly is beyond the pale. Andrew Cuomo personally authorized the worst solution possible for thousands of senior citizens—many of whom were extraordinarily vulnerable to the virus. His final solution impregnated nursing and long-term care facilities with death on a mass scale. So did four other governors and they all should be held accountable, especially since nursing home deaths are presently accounting for 42 to 48 percent of the COVID mortality numbers.
Not ONE Child! – In dealing with all these twisted manipulations I ran across a statistic that stunned me. And I’m not easily stunned. My good buddy Mark called me midweek. He had been listening to two medical assistants (nurses) at his doctor’s office discuss the school openings for the fall. Both appeared scared witless. He began to search on his own for child mortality rates as related to COVID. When he couldn’t find what he was looking for he called me. I since have also searched and had my team on the lookout as well. Yet as of the writing of this editorial we have been unable to find even one child that the CDC has claimed died as a result of COVID-19 being the sole, primary, or even underlying cause of death. Not one. According to their records, three have died indicating a positive COVID test, but in none of the three instances was the CDC willing to state COVID-19 as the cause.
Combine the hysteria being pumped out in mass quantity with these kinds of manipulations. Add the fact that the more tests we run every day (far and away the most on planet earth) and our mortality rate due to the virus plummets lower by the minute. Consider the greed factor in hyping a vaccine that someone will get wealthy from, and mix in a bit of election-year politicking. It all adds up to We The People being treated as pawns in a bigger game. (Kevin McCullough, It Is Time to Shame the Covid-19 Liars.)
Leaving aside the simple truth that “we, the people” is how we got into our mess, the author, Kevin McCullough, is entirely correct, although he does not realize the extent to which the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus has been but a piece in the plandemicists plan to engage in “transformative” policy-making that would accustom us to sacrifice legitimate liberties in order to be “safe” from something that is not a mortal threat to the lives of most people.
Moreover, there are some in the scientific community are questioning the very presuppositions associated with how to diagnoses viruses. One of these scientists is Dr. Andrew Kaufman, who has been interviewd by Del Bigtree, the producer of the Vaxxed motion picture. Dr. Kaufman’s arguments about the slippery, ever-changing criteria for diagnosing someone with the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus are very compelling, based as they are in sound reasoning and thorough research. The use of sound reasoning and authentic research is anathema to the plandemicists’ fearmongering tactics as the “experts” are demanding that we in the peon class of ignoramuses are to trust them and to consider all contrary evidence to be produced by “crackpots.”
The situation is so farcical that Dr. Anthony Fauci is praising the way in which New York’s baby-killing chief executive, Governor Andrew Mark Cuomo handled the “pandemic” in the Empire State while forgetting to mention the nursing home scandals that caused, both by negligence and by design, the deaths of many of those who are reported to have died from the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus. Cuomo ordered that elderly patients diagnosed with the virus be sent to nursing homes, thus causing infections among the residents of those homes and resulting in many cases in the use of "comfort care," thereby inflating the numbers and securing more Federal dollars per patient death in the process.
Here is a brief commentary on Deep State Fauci's praise of how the State of New York under Andrew Mark Cuomo handled the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus plandemic:
According to Dr. Anthony Fauci, New York handled the coronavirus “correctly.” Yes, the state with by far the most COVID-19 cases and deaths is being vaunted by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director as having most properly handled the pandemic. It doesn’t take mental gymnastics for him to come to this conclusion. It just requires a nefarious agenda and a willingness to tell bald-faced lies in hopes that we’re all just too simple-minded to look at the facts ourselves.
Sadly, he may be correct. Too many Americans rely on mainstream media promoting Fauci’s agenda through their propaganda. When he makes statements like he made yesterday, alarm bells should be going off ubiquitously. Instead, the vast majority of people are taking him at his word and dismissing critical analysis.
“We know that, when you do it properly, you bring down those cases. We have done it. We have done it in New York,” Fauci said in an interview on “PBS NewsHour.”
This flies in the face of what we already know about New York and the coronavirus. Fauci is banking on our short memories. Three months ago, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo declared 25% of residents in his state already had COVID-19 antibodies. We also know in some areas, nearly 70% of residents had already contracted COVID-19 at some point. The reason that New York is seeing a reduction in the number of daily cases is NOT because they did it right. It’s because their actions unambiguously did not work as intended. Their draconian lockdowns did very little to slow the spread at all. The reason cases are going down is because fewer New Yorkers are capable of being infected again. Fauci knows this, but the agenda he’s pushing requires lockdowns to continue, so he’s telling this bald-faced lie.
This is a fact. There’s nothing debatable about any of this. As JD discussed on the latest episode of NOQ Report, the reason Fauci can get away with this is because mainstream media isn’t going to fight the narrative and not enough people are willing to seek the truth. (Dr. Fauci's Latest Lie is Easily Debunked.)
United States Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) noted that Andrew Mark Cuomo's mishandlng of the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus has been even more egregious than most people realize as a way of refuting Dr. Anthony Fauci's praise of the baby-killing, "pride" marching Cuomo:
Sen. Rand Paul called for the impeachment of Gov. Andrew Cuomo over the number of deaths among New York nursing home patients during the coronavirus outbreak this spring.
“I think Gov. Cuomo should be impeached for what he did, for the disastrous decision he made to send patients with coronavirus back to nursing homes,” Paul (R-Ky.) said on Fox News’ “Rundown” podcast on Wednesday.
“And virtually half his people who died were in nursing homes.”
Paul was criticizing the lockdowns and other measures that were taken to stem the spread of the virus when he made the comments about Cuomo, a Democrat.
He said the precautions did not work and shuttering businesses only harmed the economy.
“The people we are lauding are actually making catastrophic decisions,” he said.
“Terrible public health policy decisions were made and I think in the end none of these policies have probably been good for the economy or actually good in containing the virus,” he said.
A report by the state Health Department released earlier this month said Cuomo’s decision on March 25 requiring nursing homes to accept coronavirus patients discharged from hospitals was not responsible for spreading the virus among patients.
It said nursing home staffers and visitors spread COVID-19 inside the nursing homes.
More than 6,400 residents of nursing homes or long-term care facilities in the state have died.
Cuomo earlier this week admitted the state made “a lot of mistakes” in its fight against the outbreak.
“It is hard. We made a lot of mistakes, but if we learn from half of the mistakes we made in doing it, we are the wiser for it,” the governor told reporters during a visit to Savannah, Ga., where state officials helped the city set up testing sites. (Senator Rand Paul Says Governor Cuomo Should be Impeached for How He Handled Covid-19 in New York.)
Anthony Fauci makes Joseph Goebbels seem like an amateur in the dissemination of state-sponsored propaganda. The man who had once signed himself “your doctor admirer” in a letter to Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton is, it would appear, planning a dramatic "resignation" whereby he can openly criticize President Donald John Trump, who had the poor judgment to give him widespread exposure that elevated Fauci from relative obscurity to the status of a “trusted” and “universally admired” “expert,” and thus openly support the organized crime family of the false opposite of the naturalist “right.”
In truth, however, the country of Sweden and the State of South Dakota handled the plandemic correctly, not the self-righteously sanctimonious camera-mugger named Andrew Mark Cuomo:
Coronavirus deaths have slowed to a crawl in Sweden. With the exception of a single death on July 13, no deaths in this nation of 10 million have been reported since July 10.
But the debate over Sweden’s approach to the COVID-19 pandemic, which relied on individual responsibility instead of government coercion to maintain social distancing, is far from over.
Last week, The New York Times labeled Sweden’s approach to the pandemic a “cautionary tale” for the rest of the world, claiming it “yielded a surge of deaths without sparing its economy from damage.”
To be accurate, Sweden has outperformed many nations around the world with its “lighter touch” approach and was one of the few nations in Europe to see its economy grow in the first quarter of 2020.
Meanwhile, Anders Tegnell, Sweden’s top infectious disease expert, continues to defend his nation’s approach to the pandemic.
“I’m looking forward to a more serious evaluation of our work than has been made so far,” Tegnell said in a recent podcast published by Swedish public radio before taking a scheduled vacation. “There is no way of knowing how this ends.”
Sweden’s Actual Pandemic Performance
Sweden has become a global lightning rod, but this has less to do with the results of its policies than the nature of its policies.
While Sweden’s death toll is indeed substantially higher than neighbors such as Finland, Norway, and Denmark, it’s also much lower than several other European neighbors such as Belgium, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Spain.
Indeed, a simple comparison between Belgium and Sweden—nations with rather similar populations—reveals that Belgium suffered far worse than Sweden from the coronavirus.
The reason Sweden is a “cautionary tale” and Belgium is not is because Belgium followed the script. Early in the pandemic, Belgian officials closed all non-essential business and enforced strict social distancing rules.
All non-emergency workers were told to stay home. Shopping was limited to a single family member. Individuals could leave for medical reasons or to walk a pet or get a brief bit of exercise—so long as social distancing was maintained.
These lockdown protocols, the BBC reported, were strictly enforced by Belgian police using “drones in parks and fines for anyone breaking social distancing rules.”
A More Suitable ‘Cautionary Tale’
Sweden clearly endured the pandemic better than Belgium, which had nearly twice as many COVID-19 deaths despite its economic lockdown.
Yet the Times chose Sweden as its “cautionary tale” because Sweden chose not to institute an economic lockdown. Sweden took such an approach for two reasons. First, as Tegnell has publicly stated, there is little to no scientific evidence that lockdowns work. Second, as evidence today shows, lockdowns come with widespread unintended consequences: mass unemployment, recession, social unrest, psychological deterioration, suicides, and drug overdoses.
Even if Sweden has seen its death toll rise more sharply than Scandinavian neighbors such as Finland and Norway, it’s strange that the Times would go thousands of miles across an ocean and continent to find a “cautionary tale.” A far better cautionary tale can be found right under the Grey Lady’s nose.
A simple comparison between New York and Sweden shows the Empire State has suffered far worse from COVID-19 than the Swedes. Yinon Weiss, an entrepreneur and founder of Rally Point, recently compared Sweden and New York using data from the COVID Tracking Project.
The first thing one notices about the comparison is that Sweden was able to “flatten the curve,” so to speak. Though the phrase is largely forgotten today, flattening the curve was originally the entire purpose of the lockdowns. To the extent that there was a scientific basis for lockdowns, it was in the idea that they were a temporary measure designed to help hospitals avoid being overwhelmed by sick patients.
Dr Robert Katz, founding director of the Yale‐Griffin Prevention Research Center, observed that by flattening the curve “you don't prevent deaths, you just change the dates.” But a temporary lockdown could at least prevent everyone from getting sick at once, which would be catastrophic.
If flattening the curve was the primary goal of policymakers, Sweden was largely a success. New York, on the other hand, was not, despite widespread closures and strict enforcement of social distancing policies.
The reason New York failed and Sweden succeeded probably has relatively little to do with the fact that bars and restaurants were open in Sweden. Or that New York’s schools were closed while Sweden’s were open. As Weiss explains, the difference probably isn’t related to lockdowns at all. It probably has much more to do with the fact that New York failed to protect the most at-risk populations: the elderly and infirm.
“Here’s the good news: You can shut down businesses or keep them open. Close schools or stay in session. Wear masks or not,” says Weiss, a graduate of Harvard Business School. “The virus will make its way through in either case, and if we protect the elderly then deaths will be spared.”
This is precisely the prescription Dr. John Ioannidis, a Stanford University epidemiologist and one of the most cited scientists in the world, has advocated since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Like Tegnell, Ioannidis early on expressed doubts about the effectiveness of lockdowns and warned they could produce wide-ranging unintended outcomes.
“One of the bottom lines is that we don’t know how long social distancing measures and lockdowns can be maintained without major consequences to the economy, society, and mental health,” Ioannidis wrote in a STAT article in March. "Unpredictable evolutions may ensue, including financial crisis, unrest, civil strife, war, and a meltdown of the social fabric.”
Sadly, many of the adverse consequences Ioannidis predicted have since come to pass, as he has acknowledged. . . .
Without Sweden and a few similar outliers, it would be far easier for central planners to say, Sure, lockdowns were harsh and destructive. But we had no choice.
In the wake of the most destructive pandemic in a century, there will be considerable discussion as to whether the lockdowns, which stand to trigger a global depression in addition to other psychological and social costs, were truly necessary.
In a sense, the disagreement over the pandemic largely resembles a much larger friction in society: should individuals be left free to pursue their own interests and weigh risks themselves or should they be guided, coerced, and protected by planners who want to do all this for them. (Why Sweden Succeeded in Flattening the Curve and New York Failed. The reader should note that is article was written by a disciple of the founder of the Austrian School of Economics, the late Ludwig von Mises, who believed that Christianity could not in a Capitalist world unless Christians kept their “opinions” to themselves, which explains the anarcho-libertarian opposition to the Social Reign of Christ the King on the part of the Ludwig von Mises Institute headed by Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr. For a sedeplenist’s excellent critique of Von Mises’s belief in salvation through capitalism and libertarianism, see The One Salvation of Ludwig von Mises, an excerpt from which is to be found in Appendix C. The Austrian School of Economics is not the foundation of a just society. Catholicism is. Nothing else.)
Similarly, Governor Kristi Noem of the State of South Dakota recognized a red herring when she saw one, and refused to lock down her state and deprive the state’s residents of their legitimate liberties that have been taken away so arbitrarily almost everywhere else:
U.S. governors should put their faith in the residents of their states and forgo stringent coronavirus mandates, South Dakota Republican Gov. Kristi Noem said Friday.
In an interview on "Fox & Friends," Noem told host Steve Doocy that her state is "doing really good" following President Trump's Fourth of July visit, noting that cases "continue to decline."
"I think what we did here in South Dakota is really remarkable because we gave people their freedom," she said. "We let the businesses stay open, we let people go to work, we told them to be smart, and we also asked them to be personally responsible. And, we're seeing benefits of that each and every day in South Dakota."
"On Thursday, the South Dakota Department of Health reported four new COVID-19 deaths, bringing the death toll up to 115. There were also 42 new cases confirmed -- raising the state’s total to 7,694 -- and hospitalizations are now at 757.
According to data from the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, there are now over 3.5 million confirmed COVID-19 cases in the United States and more than 138,000 deaths.
However, whereas pandemic-ravaged states like Texas and California are home to millions, the U.S. Census Bureau shows Noem's state at just over 884,000 residents.
"We did, in fact, we according to the national experts, did everything wrong," she said. " We did what the people on the ground saw. We aggressively addressed those situations, and came out better for it.
smart, and we also asked them to be personally responsible. And, we're seeing benefits of that each and every day in South Dakota."
"So, I really think the people of South Dakota stepped up. They did the right thing and they trusted me. I trusted them and they made the right decision," Noem stated.
If you had advice to other governors real quickly what would you say?" asked Doocy.
"Trust your people. Don't lay down mandates that are going to hinder the ability that they need to really get through this difficult time," she replied.
"Trust them, give them the facts, let them make decisions that are right for their families," Noem concluded. (Kristi Noem: Governors Should Let People Make Their Own Decisions, Not Lay Down Mandates. For a secular commentary about the "expertise" of the so-called scientific experts, please see How Have Our Scientific Experts Gotten So Much So Wrong.)
Although a few people have asked me whether they should move to South Dakota, the winter temperatures there can be quite forbidding. Then again, this is the vale of tears. Everything about nature has been disrupted by Original Sin and is worsened further by the Actual Sins of men, including our own. We can do our penance in the heat, such as here in Texas, or we can do it in the cold. There is no utopia on the face of this earth. (For an excellent series of books about the effects of Original Sin upon the earth, I recommend the series of thirty books written by the late Professor Fernand Crombette, Essay on Divine Geography.)
This whole plandemic will end only after the “race” to develop a vaccination provides our statist minders with our “salvation” from an ill-defined disease that is mostly non-fatal and has been no reason to dehumanize citizens by means of “social distancing” and mask mandates, to say nothing of the wrecking of small businesses and of family budgets in order to make everyone receptive to the “end” of the present planned crisis at the end of a needle attached to syringe containing genetically modifying poisons that will also sterilize many kill off others. All this with our own taxpayer dollars as the sheepies bay “baa, baa, baa.”
The Plandemicists’ End Game: Vaccinations for All
Although most Americans seem quite content to go along with the program out of fear of contracting a disease whose symptoms can increase at the arbitrary whims of the plademicists when there appears to be a lull in “new” cases, there are some, including a few world leaders, who see through the program’s agenda of mandatory vaccinations for all.
One of these is the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, who recently prepared a speech summarizing the nefarious nature of plandemic hatched American “medical professionals,” Bill Gates and the Rockefeller Foundation. Akufo-Addo explained that the plandemicists’ ultimate goal is to depopulate the world, especially Africa by means of diseases and then the “vaccinations” that are said to “immunize” the public.
Akufo-Addo is some kind of “born again” Protestant, it would appear, but his analysis of the situation, which was followed by comments offered by someone associated with Human Life International, is very sound, and I recommend it to this site’s readers: Nan Akufo-Addo on American Plans to Depopulate Africa.)
Additionally, the aforementioned Dr. Andrew Kaufman explained in an interview on a different internet program, one hosted by a man named Spiro Skouras that proposed vaccination for the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus will modify the genetic code of those who obey the vaccination mandates, which will be issued by the administration of whichever candidate is elected to the presidency on Tuesday, November 4, 2020: Dr. Andrew Kaufman interviwed by Spiro Skourast. Forewarned is forearmed.
The vaccination industry, however, is proceeding a “warp speed” to rush out vaccinations that will do nothing to stop the spread of the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19 Coronavirus, harm many and result in the deaths of many others and modify the genetic codes of those who receive it. There is big money riding on these legal injections of poison into human bodies even as Bill Gates and Dr. Anthony Fauci himself back down on their previous contentions that the much-vaunted vaccine will do anything to prevent the spread of the disease they claim is responsible for the deaths of over a half million people worldwide.
Here is a recent on the Children Health Defense organization's website about the transparent treachery and those who talk big and then “walk back” their promises” as the only thing they care about is flex their “scientific” muscle and make a lot of bucks in the process:
Bill Gates and the World Health Organization (see video) say they have confidence in the two leading COVID vaccines: the AstraZeneca (Oxford) vaccine and Moderna’s. Gates is invested in both. Their endorsement of these two lemons should worry anyone hoping that Operation Warp Speed, its billionaire patron and global regulators are capable of yielding a safe or effective shot.
Since February, Gates, Fauci, and WHO have been promising a jab that will induce immunity in 7 billion people, prevent transmission, and impose minimal side effects (see video.) Their current race to lower expectations cannot keep pace with the poor performances of their troubled products. Gates is now hinting that the vaccine may not prevent transmission. Fauci will now settle for 70% immunity (see video.)
Despite animal trials proving the Oxford vaccine ineffective against COVID-19, Astra-Zeneca nevertheless launched human trials. While vaccine developers have never dared to conduct testing against a true inert placebo as such tests would likely reveal safety problems, lead Oxford developer Andrew Pollard will now give trial participants a notoriously reactogenic meningitis vaccine as a “control”– a common ploy to mask injuries from experimental vaccines. Among the 50 listed side effects from meningitis vaccines are: Guillain-Barré; convulsions; Kawasaki’s Disease; acute disseminated encephalomyelitis; appendicitis; pneumonia; staphylococcal infection; vitello-intestinal duct remnant; Cushing’s syndrome; viral hepatitis; seizure; palsy; suicidal depression; sepsis and death.
Moderna passed over animal trials altogether, and then saw 20% of the high-dose group and 6% of low-dose group experience serious adverse events in its Phase 1 human trial. Following these dismal results, Moderna CEO Steve Bancel and four other executives in the company dumped more than $89 million in stock.
Both pathetic vaccines share a sole hope: They are both too big to fail. The Oxford jab got £111 million from the British government, and is already manufacturing billions of doses. Moderna got $500 million from Fauci and has 2 billion doses in production. Poor us! (Gates and Fauci Back Down on Vaccine Promises. An article on the scientific problems with the vaccines in development now ca be found at An MNRA Vaccine Against SARS-COV-2: A Preliminary Report by a Researcher.)
Yes, the social engineering that has been used during the “plandemic” to curb a disease whose symptoms get redefined whenever it suits the purposes of those who stand to profit handsomely, both in terms of power, influence and money, from its perpetuation has been designed to create such fear in the hearts of men to convince them to overlook any and all real scientific studies that poke holes in the nature of the disease we are supposed to fear and to consider any and all evidence that explains the evil effects of most modern vaccinations in general and the one being developed at this time to combat the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19 Coronavirus as the “bogus” work of those terrible people called “anti-vaxxers.”
A guest column of Robert Francis Kennedy, Jr.’s, Children’s Health Defense Center website explained this strategy:
International vaccination policy is being manipulated to develop massive vaccine markets. It’s time to throw a spotlight on conflicts of interest, and identify who is behind the demonising and censoring of people who question vaccination policy.
The mainstream media has been shown to be unreliable, biased, and often conflicted, and is failing to critically analyse and report on international vaccination policy for the global community.
In regards to biased media, see for example this article in The Guardian which includes references to Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Children’s Health Defense, and Stop Mandatory Vaccination. The piece points out to readers that “Anti-vaxxers’ influence and power could affect Americans’ willingness to take a Covid-19 vaccine, experts warn.” Note that The Guardian receives funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which is driving “the race” for coronavirus vaccines.
This is yet another propaganda piece attempting to discredit and marginalise people who legitimately question international vaccination policy and the burgeoning number of vaccines being added to international vaccination schedules. People with valid concerns about vaccinations are labelled “anti-vaxxers” and are described as being in the “anti-vaxxer movement” in a manner that seeks to marginalise them in broader society and to alienate them as “untouchables”.
It’s been going on for years, starting with the demonising of Andrew Wakefield, (via the Murdoch Sunday Times newspaper and The BMJ), central to the narrative, and has since widened to encompass others. For those who follow such things, it’s obvious this is being orchestrated, but by whom?
We know The Vaccine Confidence Project headed by Heidi Larson is a key entity in monitoring global dissent on vaccination, and that this organisation has been funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in the past. But there are others in the network of monitoring dissent including academics such as Julie Leask and Katie Attwell in Australia.
The lobbying of coercive vaccination groups such as SAVN and Friends of Science in Medicine in
Australia, and similar lobbying internationally, must be investigated to understand the big picture.
We’ve seen the deliberate hindrance of discussion on vaccination going on for years, but it’s reaching a crescendo now, with censorship on social media interfering with citizens’ rights to discuss vaccination. It remains to be seen what will be the outcome of Donald Trump’s Executive Order on Preventing Online Censorship.
Biased international media is cranking up yet again, with the current coronavirus crisis being used to demonise people questioning vaccination, and information is being twisted and ignored to suit the purposes of vested interests, see for example:
See also Tracking the Anti-Vaccination Movement, an article published by the National Press Foundation (US), which reports on “a new digital tool called Project VCTR that can track anti-vax messengers and messages across Twitter, Facebook, popular websites and other platforms”. And who is behind the official sounding “National Press Foundation”? Have a look at the list of funders which includes vaccine manufacturer GSK and a host of others who may have significant conflicts of interest.
Questionable agendas/questionable vaccines
Citizens questioning vaccination policy must be heard, and governments, vaccine manufacturers, and academics with conflicts of interest, must be stopped from executing Bill Gates mission to take away the fundamental human right of informed consent.
The ante has been upped considerably with the arrival of COVID-19, and Bill Gates’ insistence that a coronavirus vaccine be made “available to almost every person on the planet”. In the space of a few months, we’ve seen another disease pop up as a global threat as the result of SARS-CoV-2, a virus of still undetermined origin.
There are many unknowns about SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19, and yet it’s reported that over a hundred groups are involved in the “race for the vaccine” with highly questionable vaccine trials underway. Even with all of these unknowns, already there are calls for mandatory vaccines when they become available. It’s shocking to see how this is being fast-tracked, without any real consideration of data from the current crisis. In this regard, see Dr. Malcolm Kendrick’s blog post: COVID deaths – how accurate are the statistics?
The driver of the current race for coronavirus vaccine products is Bill Gates, who has been manipulating international vaccination policy for years. His Foundation is now the top financial donor to the World Health Organisation after the recent withdrawal of the US by President Donald Trump.
Gates is an unelected individual who is wielding his enormous wealth and political influence to impose his will on the global community. See for example Bill and Melinda Gates personal phone call with Boris Johnson, Bill Gates Seeks EU Help on Vaccine Aid, EU-led telethon raises 7.4 billion for vaccine financing – without US, and Australia pledges $350 million to EU coronavirus vaccine research fund.
James Corbett’s recent series of documentaries on Gates provides valuable history and analysis: Meet Bill Gates; Bill Gates’ Plan to Vaccinate the World; How Bill Gates Monopolized Global Health and Bill Gates and the Population Control Grid. Corbett’s documentaries also include references to Gates buying the media including The Guardian, NPR and the BBC.
There must be an investigation into how international vaccination policy is being manipulated to develop massive vaccine markets. We must throw the spotlight on conflicts of interest and those who are behind the demonising and censoring of people who question vaccination policy.
The mainstream media has been corrupted and is failing the global community; it’s worse than useless. It’s time for citizens around the world to forge a new way ahead if we are to retain our basic human rights. (Who is Coordinating Anti-Vax Labeling?)
Although the author’s information is very accurate, there is no “new way ahead” absent a return of men and their nations to the Catholic Church, outside of which there is no salvation and without which there can be no true social order, and such order will be impossible to establish as long as men blaspheme the Holy Name of Jesus, defame the Mother of God, dress indecently, speak profanely, sin against Holy Purity, waste their time on an endless variety of pleasures, vanities and other leisure activities, and to sin wantonly by overturning the Sovereignty of God over the sanctity and fecundity of marriage, killing the innocent preborn, whether by chemical or surgical means, execute anyone after birth under the myth of “brain death” and/or for an “insufficient” “quality of life.” There can never be any kind of justice in a world where men are personally unjust and promote sin, up to and including the sin of Sodom and all its related vices, under the cover of the civil law and celebrating it widely in every aspect of what passes for “popular culture.”
For all the hysteria caused by the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus, we must remember that over 477,600 preborn babies have been slaughtered by surgical means in the United States of America alone since January 1, 2020, and that another 22,420,000 have butchered worldwide since then (see Abortion Clock). By contrast, the number of deaths attributed, whether accurately or not, to the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus stands at 611,000 worldwide and at 143,603 in the United States of America (see Worldometer). The hysteria over the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus is irrational. The continued silence about the daily slaughter of the innocent prebon, both by chemical and surgical means, is inexcusable. We must see the hand of God in this plandemic to chastise us all for our indifference and self-satisfaction as numberless sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance continue to be perpertrated and supported by the same people who have used "lockdowns" and other dehumanizing mandates to make us all wards of the civil state subject to the whims of those who are said to "know better."
Life as we have known it up until now is over, and there is no getting the “toothpaste” of the face that has been the American concept of “freedom” back in the tube as American “freedom” has “liberated” men from the necessity of worshipping Christ the King and honoring Him publicly as faithful sons and daughters of His Holy Church.
One of the supreme ironies of the plandemic is that men are so concerned with avoiding the “near occasion” of the China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus that so few commentators even in Catholic circles have cared to note that there most men alive today do not have any concern for avoiding the near occasions of sin and, worse yet, merrily plunge themselves into such occasions every day of their lives without a moment’s hesitation.
Yet it is that sin will always be more deadly than the coronavirus, and anyone who doubts that this so is not thinking supernaturally.
We Must Convert and Repent
Men must quit their sins and they must repent of having committed them. As important as this information is—and it is very important, the chastisements being visited upon us at this time will increase exponentially if men do not come to realize the truth of the following words contained in Saint Paul’s Epistle to the Hebrews:
For where there is a testament, the death of the testator must of necessity come in. For a testament is of force, after men are dead: otherwise it is as yet of no strength, whilst the testator liveth. Whereupon neither was the first indeed dedicated without blood. For when every commandment of the law had been read by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, Saying: This is the blood of the testament, which God hath enjoined unto you.
The tabernacle also and all the vessels of the ministry, in like manner, he sprinkled with blood. And almost all things, according to the law, are cleansed with blood: and without shedding of blood there is no remission. It is necessary therefore that the patterns of heavenly things should be cleansed with these: but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Jesus is not entered into the holies made with hands, the patterns of the true: but into heaven itself, that he may appear now in the presence of God for us. Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holies, every year with the blood of others:
For then he ought to have suffered often from the beginning of the world: but now once at the end of ages, he hath appeared for the destruction of sin, by the sacrifice of himself. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgment: So also Christ was offered once to exhaust the sins of many; the second time he shall appear without sin to them that expect him unto salvation. (Hebrews 9: 21-28.)
We must follow after the example of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Whose Social Kingship has been overthrown and replaced with the reign of the adversary masquerading under the guise of the “sovereignty of the people.” It is far, far past time for anyone who knows better to think that a system based on such a diabolical falsehood and under the reign of the devil himself will ever do anything but increase division, chaos, mindless violence, bloodshed and, eventually, the reign of Antichrist himself.
There will never be peace at home nor abroad when men are at war with God by means of their unrepented, un-confessed and un-absolved sins. Why is it so difficult to understand and to accept the Catholic truth offered us by Silvio Cardinal Antoniano over four hundred forty years ago?
The more closely the temporal power of a nation aligns itself with the spiritual, and the more it fosters and promotes the latter, by so much the more it contributes to the conservation of the commonwealth. For it is the aim of the ecclesiastical authority by the use of spiritual means, to form good Christians in accordance with its own particular end and object; and in doing this it helps at the same time to form good citizens, and prepares them to meet their obligations as members of a civil society. This follows of necessity because in the City of God, the Holy Roman Catholic Church, a good citizen and an upright man are absolutely one and the same thing. How grave therefore is the error of those who separate things so closely united, and who think that they can produce good citizens by ways and methods other than those which make for the formation of good Christians. For, let human prudence say what it likes and reason as it pleases, it is impossible to produce true temporal peace and tranquillity by things repugnant or opposed to the peace and happiness of eternity. (Silvio Cardinal Antoniano, quoted by Pope Pius XI in Divini Illius Magistri, December 31, 1929.)
No person, certainly not Donald John Trump, who knows nothing of First and Last Things as he personalizes almost every crisis and is incapable of speaking about any issue without praising himself and his intelligence, who supports things repugnant and/or opposed to the peace and happiness of eternity can stop or even retard the advance of a chastisement
This chastisement is for us all as none of us innocent of the guilt of our sins. We need to make reparation for our sins. We must accept this chastisement with joy and gratitude, recognizing that Catholics are called to embrace whatever crosses God in His ineffable Providence sees fit to give unto them for His own greater honor and glory and for the sanctification and salvation of our own souls as the consecrated slaves of His Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. We should fear only about offending God by means of sins of omission and commission, by our tepidity, by our worldliness, by the ready ease to which we subject ourselves to the daily bombardment of agitation that, to quote Pope Pius XI in Ubi Arcano Dei Consilio, December 22, 1922, leads to the mania of seeking out, if not believing in, the ability of “sterile solutions” to save “what little remains of the existing ruin”:
These words of the Holy Bible have been fulfilled and are now at this very moment being fulfilled before our very eyes. Because men have forsaken God and Jesus Christ, they have sunk to the depths of evil. They waste their energies and consume their time and efforts in vain sterile attempts to find a remedy for these ills, but without even being successful in saving what little remains from the existing ruin. It was a quite general desire that both our laws and our governments should exist without recognizing God or Jesus Christ, on the theory that all authority comes from men, not from God. Because of such an assumption, these theorists fell very short of being able to bestow upon law not only those sanctions which it must possess but also that secure basis for the supreme criterion of justice which even a pagan philosopher like Cicero saw clearly could not be derived except from the divine law.
Authority itself lost its hold upon mankind, for it had lost that sound and unquestionable justification for its right to command on the one hand and to be obeyed on the other. Society, quite logically and inevitably, was shaken to its very depths and even threatened with destruction, since there was left to it no longer a stable foundation, everything having been reduced to a series of conflicts, to the domination of the majority, or to the supremacy of special interests.
Again, legislation was passed which did not recognize that either God or Jesus Christ had any rights over marriage -- an erroneous view which debased matrimony to the level of a mere civil contract, despite the fact that Jesus Himself had called it a "great sacrament" (Ephesians v, 32) and had made it the holy and sanctifying symbol of that indissoluble union which binds Him to His Church. The high ideals and pure sentiments with which the Church has always surrounded the idea of the family, the germ of all social life, these were lowered, were unappreciated, or became confused in the minds of many. As a consequence, the correct ideals of family government, and with them those of family peace, were destroyed; the stability and unity of the family itself were menaced and undermined, and, worst of all, the very sanctuary of the home was more and more frequently profaned by acts of sinful lust and soul-destroying egotism -- all of which could not but result in poisoning and drying up the very sources of domestic and social life.
Added to all this, God and Jesus Christ, as well as His doctrines, were banished from the school. As a sad but inevitable consequence, the school became not only secular and non-religious but openly atheistical and anti-religious. In such circumstances it was easy to persuade poor ignorant children that neither God nor religion are of any importance as far as their daily lives are concerned. God's name, moreover, was scarcely ever mentioned in such schools unless it were perchance to blaspheme Him or to ridicule His Church. Thus, the school forcibly deprived of the right to teach anything about God or His law could not but fail in its efforts to really educate, that is, to lead children to the practice of virtue, for the school lacked the fundamental principles which underlie the possession of a knowledge of God and the means necessary to strengthen the will in its efforts toward good and in its avoidance of sin. Gone, too, was all possibility of ever laying a solid groundwork for peace, order, and prosperity, either in the family or in social relations. Thus the principles based on the spiritualistic philosophy of Christianity having been obscured or destroyed in the minds of many, a triumphant materialism served to prepare mankind for the propaganda of anarchy and of social hatred which was let loose on such a great scale.
Is it to be wondered at then that, with the widespread refusal to accept the principles of true Christian wisdom, the seeds of discord sown everywhere should find a kindly soil in which to grow and should come to fruit in that most tremendous struggle, the Great War, which unfortunately did not serve to lessen but increased, by its acts of violence and of bloodshed, the international and social animosities which already existed? (Pope Pius XI, Ubi Arcano Dei Concilio, December 23, 1922.)
Any questions?
The China/Chinese/Wuhan/Covid-19/Coronavirus and the plandemic which brought it about and has sustained it to condition us to submit ourselves voluntarily to a Marxist coup is based upon atheistic principles that consider individual human beings to be “cogs” in the machinery of production, not as creatures endowed with immortal souls that have been redeemed by the shedding of every single drop of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ’s Most Precious Blood during His Passion and Death on the wood of the Holy Cross on Good Friday. This coup, however, is but the consequence of our own sins and those of the whole world, and we must keep this ever in mind and to understand that there is nothing that we are called to suffer in this passing, mortal vale of tears that is the equal of what one of our least Venial Sins caused by Our Lord to suffer during His fearful Passion and Death and that caused His Most Blessed Mother to suffer in perfect communion with Him as her Immaculate Heart was pierced through and through with Swords of Sorrow.
Self-pity and fear have no place in the heart of a believing Catholic. Each of us must have the holy fortitude, zeal and true charity for souls that characterized the life and missionary work of Saint Vincent de Paul, whose feast was commemorated yesterday, Sunday, July 19, 2020, the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost.
Saint Vincent de Paul, who had been captured and made a slave of the Moors shortly after his priestly ordination, never shirked in the midst of danger, yes, even the dangers of plagues and pestilential sicknesses of one sort or another, and he trained the members of the Congregation of the Mission and the Sisters of Charity to be formed in the crucible of self-immolation to perform both the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy with humility and unflaggingly courageous perseverance.
Consider how Saint Vincent sent missionaries to Poland at the behest of the Queen just as a plague had overtaken Warsaw:
When Saint Vincent de Paul, like the general of an army, was sending his best followers to confront the horrors of Algiers and Tunis, and the dangers in Ireland and Scotland, he was asked by Marie Louise de Gonazagua, the new Queen of Poland, to establish some of his priests in her kingdom. The princess had been a member of the Ladies’ Association of Charity, and also under the direction of our saint. Hence, at the same time that she was introducing French art, literature, fashion and taste into her court, she also wished Saint Vincent to send her his priests of the Mission, the Sisters of Charity and the Huns of the Visitation. Our saint, who had a paternal tenderness for the young Queen, chose as the leader of a band of missioners Father Lambert, his assistant, and a man of tried virtue, of exceptional humility, prudence and heroic self-sacrifice. Thought he saint, now in his seventy-fifth year, deeply regretted being separated from a man upon whom he felt confident in relying, yet he did not hesitate to give him to the Queen of Poland. With Father Lambert he joined some other priests of great virtue, and they set out at once for Poland (1651). After experiencing, of which it is useless to speak here, they arrived in Poland while a plague was at its height. The Queen was anxious that the missioners should remain away from the affected districts, but Father Lambert, feeling that his post was among the plague-stricken, at once set out for Warsaw, where the pestilence was raging. Her Majesty wrote immediately to Saint Vincent: “The noble-hearted Father Lambert seeing the distress our people were in, insisted on going to Warsaw to aid the poor. I have given orders that he should be lodged in the King’s apartments. I receive news from him every day, and I am urging him not to expose his life. He has everything necessary, and I am pressuring him to come here as soon as possible. Were it not for the plague, our designs should have been accomplished by this time. The Sister of Charity, I am glad to say, arrived two days ago.” These sisters began with an act of virtue which might have wounded the Queen, but only served to edify her. After a few days’ rest she said to them: “It is now time to begin our work. I see you are three, so I intend to retain Sister Margaret, and allow the other two to go to Cracow for the service of the poor.—“Ah, madam,” replied Sister Margaret, “what is this you are saying? The three of us must serve the poor; you have plenty who can attend on your Majesty. Permit us, madam, to act as God demands of us, and as we do elsewhere.” The Queen persisted in her arrangement; but seeing the sister beginning to cry, she said, “What! sister, do you refuse to serve me?”—“Pardon me, madam, but we have given ourselves to God to serve the poor.” Moved to tears, the Queen then allowed the three to set out to help the plague-stricken. (Bishop Emile Bougaud, History of St. Vincent De Paul: Founder of The Congregation of the Mission and of The Sisters of Charity; Volume 1, Bishop of Laval, Longmans, Green, and Co., 39 Paternoster Row, London New York, and Bombay, 1899, pp. 99-100.)
Father Lambert had been formed by Saint Vincent de Paul to forget about dangers to the body so as to be of service to those in need, especially the poor. This is quite a contrast with the way in which Jorge Mario Bergoglio and his henchmen, especially the notorious Blase Cupich, the conciliar “archbishop” of Chicago, Pritzker Revolutionary Stronghold of Illinois, to obey the civil state and to shut down the Catholic churches that are in their control until the restoration that is to come. Bergoglio doth indeed fear him who can kill the body as he doth not believe that there is one who kill both the soul and the body and throw both into Gehenna for all eternity.
A further contrast is to be noted by the way in which Saint Vincent de Paul, an Apostle of Charity, lamented the rise of the pestilence of heresy that had swept over formerly Catholic Europe a century earlier and was mutating into other kinds of errors on a daily basis:
But soon the pestilence was the least of their dangers, for now war broke out. And what a war! Russia, with her immense army of Cossacks, on the one side, and Protestant Sweden, with the veteran troops of the great Gustavus Adophus, on the other. On the one side Greek schism, on the other heresy, and between them Poland. The Queen boldly set out with the King, but she wished that Father Lambert, in whom she had every confidence, should accompany them. He did so, though worn out by fatigue in the midst of the plague, and soon, notwithstanding the anxious care of the Queen, he died the death of a saint on Jan. 31, 1653. Saint Vincent at once wrote to all the houses: “The good Father Lambert died on Jan. 31, having been only three days ill, but so grievous was his malady that it would be impossible for him to hold out any length of time. He received all the sacraments from Father Desdames. The Queen''s confessor has informed me that the sorrow is universal, and it is the opinion of all that it would be difficult to find a more worthy ecclesiastic. It might be truly said of him, that he was, 'Dilectus Deo et hominibus, cujus momoria in benedictione est.' He sought God alone, and nobody so short a time won such esteem and favour with their Majesties. He was a universal favorite, for everywhere he passed he left the odour of his great virtues. These are the sentiments of this great doctor; and the Queen herself has written me a long letter extolling our confrere's virtue, and concluding with these words: 'In fine, if you do not send me another Father Lambert I shall no longer be able to do anything.' Such words show the esteem she had for him.”
To replace Father Lambert Saint Vincent chose Father Ozenne, a missioner of exalted virtue, and desired him to start at once. He arrived in Poland just at the moment that the political situation was become more and more grave. Protestantism, already supreme in England, Denmark, Sweden and Holland favoured by Richelieu and Mazarin, was now on the point of taking possession of Poland, and thus of dominating Europe. In the midst of these misfortunes we may hear the sighs of Saint Vincent de Paul: “O Gentlemen ! Does it not seem to you that God wishes to transfer his Church into other countries? Yes, if we do not change, it is to be feared that He will take her away, for we are witnessing these powerful enemies of the Church forcing their entrance. We ought to fear that God has raised up for our punishment this tyrant King of Sweden, who in less than four months has invaded a good part of this great kingdom. God made use of these our enemies before for the same end. The Goths, Visigoths and Vandals came from these regions, and God made use of them twelve hundred years ago to chastise His Church. From what we see at present we ought to be on our guard. A kingdom of such extent invaded within a space of four months! O Lord ! Who knows what is in store for us?” Every day our saint received letters which told of the sickness, fatigue and exhaustion of the sisters amid the ravages of the plague, and of the robbery and violence used against the Priest of the Mission. Fathers Ozenne, Desdames and Duperroy were subjected to frightful indignities, being despoiled of their very clothes. The saint made use of these examples to stimulate the virtue and self-sacrifice of those who remained in Paris. “Behold, gentlemen,” he said, “how indifferent these priests are to life or death, but humbly resigned to the will of God. They show no sign of impatience or complaint; on the contrary, they seem ready to suffer still more. Are we in the like sentiments? Are we prepared to endure the trials which God shall send us, to stifle the promptings of nature, and to live no longer but for Jesus Christ? Are we ready to go to Poland, Barbary, or the Indies, to sacrifice our ease and our lives? If we are, let us thank God; but if not – if there are some who fear to abandon their comforts, who are so tender as to complain when they want for the least thing, so careful about themselves that they wish to change their houses and employments because the air does not suit them, the food is too poor, or that they have not sufficient liberty to go here and go there; in a word gentlemen, if there are some still slaves of nature, fettered by the pleasures of sense, like this miserable wretch now speaking, who at the age of seventy, is still worldly – if there are any such, let them be convinced that they are unworthy labourers in the vineyard of our Lord.
“But, gentlemen, what have they suffered in Poland? Famine, pestilence even twice, and war. God is proving them by every trial. And we are to be here like cowards without courage or zeal, to see others expose themselves to danger in the service of God, and we remain weak and cowardly ! Oh, what misery, what wretchedness! Let us take a resolution, then, of consuming our strength in God's service. Do you not desire it, my dear seminarists, brothers and students? I shall not ask the priests, for, of course, they are all so disposed. Yes, my God, we wish to correspond to the designs you have upon us. I know not, gentlemen, how I have said all this to you; I did not intend it; but I was so moved by what has been said, and, at the same time, so consoled at the graces which God has bestowed on our priests in Poland, that I wished your hearts should share the sentiments which fill my own.”
Another day he said: “Happy, indeed, are our confrere's in Poland, who have suffered so much during the recent wars and the pestilence, and who are suffering still, in order to bring comfort and consolation to the poor! Happy missioners, whom neither shot nor shell, bayonet nor plague, has been able to drive our of Warsaw, where the sufferings of others detain them. The have persevered, and are doing so still, amid so many dangers and sufferings, and all that through the spirit of mercy and charity. Oh, how happy they are to employ so usefully this moment of life! Yes, this moment for life is but a moment that passes like smoke. Alas! Near eighty years have I lived, and those years seem now as a moment, as a cream, and nothing remains but remorse for lost time.” If that is not eloquence, where would it be? If that is not humility, forgetfulness and contempt of self, zeal and self-sacrifice, where shall we find them?
The political aspect of the time was turning Saint Vincent's thoughts to the subject which was then occupying the minds of all great men – a fear that the Catholic faith was being lost to Europe. “No doubt, gentlemen,” Saint Vincent would say, “the Son of God promised that He would be with His Church till the end of time. But He has undoubtedly said that He would not abandon His Church, and that she should remain till the consummation of the world, in some place or other, but He does not says where. If there was one country more that another which might seem to have a prior claim, it was the Holy Land, where He was born, began, His Church, and worked so many miracles. Notwithstanding, it was from this chosen land that He took His Church to give it to the Gentiles. Oh! What joy it should be to God if, amid the ruin of His Church by the upheaval of heretics, and the licentiousness of concupiscence, some persons should be found offering themselves to plant elsewhere, if we must so speak, the remnant of His Church, and others to defend and guard the little that remains. O Saviour! What a joy to you to see such faithful servants and guardians of what remains to you still! O gentlemen! What a reason to rejoice! Conquerors leave a part of their troops behind to guard what they have, and send others forward to extend their empire. So ought it to be with us. We ought here to bravely hold and preserve the interests of Jesus Christ and His Church, and at the same time to constantly labour to make known His name and His Church in far distant lands.”
Sustained by such a man and such a saint, nothing was able to daunt the Priests of the Mission in this hour of Poland's trial. They founded seminaries, missions, parishes, hospitals, and thus aided this afflicted nation to traverse the most frightful persecution any people could know and to preserve the faith.
The entrance of the Priests of the Mission into Italy was not accompanied by such trials' for now in a Catholic country, like all who came to work for religion, they were greeted with joy. They soon settled at Rome, Turin, Genoa, and Viterbo, giving missions with extraordinary success, establishing the Tuesday conferences, and directing spiritual retreats. The Pope wished that they should prepare the students for ordination. In fine, everywhere they spread an odour of sanctity, so much so that the Pope many times publicly expressed his satisfaction.
But extensive as were these missions, embracing Europe and a part of Africa, they were not enough to satiate the zeal of Saint Vincent de Paul. He yearned to evangelize the world. According as he saw the West losing the faith, he desired to propagate it in the East. “I assure you,” he wrote to Father d'Horgny at Rome, “that I feel a great longing to spread the Church in infidel countries, for it seems to me that God is by degrees withdrawing it from here, and that in a hundred years or so the Church shall barely exist in these countries. Our depraved morals and those ever-increasing new doctrines are the cause of this. By such heresies the Church has lost within the last hundred years most of the kingdoms of Sweden, Denmark, Norway, England, Scotland, Bohemia and Hungary. Italy, France, Spain Ireland, and Poland are all that remain, and even of them France and Poland are tainted with the heresy of other countries. Now, if the Church has lost so much in a hundred years, there is reason to fear that in another hundred all Europe shall have been lost, and hence I esteem those happy who are enabled to extend the kingdom of Christ elsewhere.” Again he writes: “Have we not reason to fear that God will deliver Europe into the hands of the heretics, who are attacking the Church and doing such damage that only a small portion of her remains intact. To add to the misfortune, what remains seems likely to be divided in consequence of these new opinions that are springing up every day. What shall become of us if God should transfer His church to the infidels, who perhaps live more morally that the majority of Christians, who have nothing less at heart than the mysteries of our holy religion? For myself, I must say those have been my sentiments for time past.” (Bishop Emile Bougaud, History of St. Vincent De Paul: Founder of The Congregation of the Mission and of The Sisters of Charity; Volume 1, Bishop of Laval, Longmans, Green, and Co., 39 Paternoster Row, London New York, and Bombay, 1899, pp. 100-106.)
Most of those who read this site understand that what appears to be the Catholic Church is in the hands of heretics who have surpassed all others in the past with their temerity, blasphemies, outrages, sacrileges, apostasies and abominations.
Nonetheless, however, Our Lord has raised up powerful enemies in the anti-Incarnational world of Modernity and in the realm of Modernism’s counterfeit church of conciliarism to chastise us and to call us—yes, each one of us!—to repentance and conversion. We must fear falling into sin and heresy, not dying from any kind of disease, no less a “disease” that has been made out to be one of “fatal” devastation but which is based on numerous lies and misrepresentations fact to scare us all into submission just as surely as Jorge Mario Bergoglio is a puppet to the masters of the civil state of Modernity.
With our prayers offered up to Saint Vincent de Paul, an Apostle to the Poor who cared for bodies and souls, and to Saint Jerome Emiliani, whose work as a catechist with poor orphan boy and whose death in 1537 was caused by exposing himself to pestilence in the service of the sick (so much for Jorge’s endorsement of “lockdowns”), to help us to preserve in our prayers for the restoration of a true pope on the Throne of Saint Peter and of the Social Reign of Christ the King and of His Most Blessed Mother, she who is our Immaculate Queen.
Remaining steadfast in our use of Our Lady’s weapon, the Most Holy Rosary, and using the shield of her Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel to ward off the pestilence of sin and heresy as well as wearing her Miraculous Medal of Grace that is a specific protection against pestilences, may we be ready at all times to lay down our lives, both figuratively and literally, for the cause of Christ the King and His Catholic Church, which alone has the means to help people to remember that no disease is more deadly than sin and that she alone has the supernatural helps to treat the disease of sin and help us grow in sanctity unto the salvation of our immortal souls.

The State of Texas’s Death Panels Law to Exterminate the “Worthless”
(As taken from “Ever Enabling Montezuma’s Army of Body Snatchers
The authorizing statute (TEX HS. CODE ANN. § 166.046) was passed by the Texas State Legislature in 1999 and signed into law by the supposedly “pro-life” governor at the time, a chap who would later place American personnel needlessly into harm’s way in Iraq to overthrow one regime and destabilize that country to the extent that the Islamic Republic of Iran is now able to target the remaining Americans who should not have been put there to begin with, George Walker Bush, authorizing hospital administrators to override a patient’s directives to his physicians concerning healthcare decisions:
(a) If an attending physician refuses to honor a patient's advance directive or a health care or treatment decision made by or on behalf of a patient, the physician's refusal shall be reviewed by an ethics or medical committee. The attending physician may not be a member of that committee. The patient shall be given life-sustaining treatment during the review.
(b) The patient or the person responsible for the health care decisions of the individual who has made the decision regarding the directive or treatment decision:
(1) may be given a written description of the ethics or medical committee review process and any other policies and procedures related to this section adopted by the health care facility;
(2) shall be informed of the committee review process not less than 48 hours before the meeting called to discuss the patient's directive, unless the time period is waived by mutual agreement;
(3) at the time of being so informed, shall be provided:
(A) a copy of the appropriate statement set forth in Section 166.052; and
(B) a copy of the registry list of health care providers and referral groups that have volunteered their readiness to consider accepting transfer or to assist in locating a provider willing to accept transfer that is posted on the website maintained by the Texas Health Care Information Council under Section 166.053; and
(4) is entitled to:
(A) attend the meeting; and
(B) receive a written explanation of the decision reached during the review process.
(c) The written explanation required by Subsection (b)(2)(B) must be included in the patient's medical record.
(d) If the attending physician, the patient, or the person responsible for the health care decisions of the individual does not agree with the decision reached during the review process under Subsection (b), the physician shall make a reasonable effort to transfer the patient to a physician who is willing to comply with the directive. If the patient is a patient in a health care facility, the facility's personnel shall assist the physician in arranging the patient's transfer to:
(1) another physician;
(2) an alternative care setting within that facility; or
(3) another facility.
(e) If the patient or the person responsible for the health care decisions of the patient is requesting life-sustaining treatment that the attending physician has decided and the review process has affirmed is inappropriate treatment, the patient shall be given available life-sustaining treatment pending transfer under Subsection (d). The patient is responsible for any costs incurred in transferring the patient to another facility. The physician and the health care facility are not obligated to provide life-sustaining treatment after the 10th day after the written decision required under Subsection (b) is provided to the patient or the person responsible for the health care decisions of the patient unless ordered to do so under Subsection (g).
(e-1) If during a previous admission to a facility a patient's attending physician and the review process under Subsection (b) have determined that life-sustaining treatment is inappropriate, and the patient is readmitted to the same facility within six months from the date of the decision reached during the review process conducted upon the previous admission, Subsections (b) through (e) need not be followed if the patient's attending physician and a consulting physician who is a member of the ethics or medical committee of the facility document on the patient's readmission that the patient's condition either has not improved or has deteriorated since the review process was conducted.
(f) Life-sustaining treatment under this section may not be entered in the patient's medical record as medically unnecessary treatment until the time period provided under Subsection (e) has expired.
(g) At the request of the patient or the person responsible for the health care decisions of the patient, the appropriate district or county court shall extend the time period provided under Subsection (e) only if the court finds, by a preponderance of the evidence, that there is a reasonable expectation that a physician or health care facility that will honor the patient's directive will be found if the time extension is granted.
(h) This section may not be construed to impose an obligation on a facility or a home and community support services agency licensed under Chapter 142 or similar organization that is beyond the scope of the services or resources of the facility or agency. This section does not apply to hospice services provided by a home and community support services agency licensed under Chapter 142. (As found at Advanced Directives Act.)
In other words, you see, it is up to a patient or his surrogate to find another facility that is willing to following his directives within ten days of a review board’s decision to uphold his physician’s refusal to honor those directives. A sick or injured human being then must play a contemporary version of Beat the Clock to save his life. A world governed by Catholic principles would feature physicians who strove to heal their patients. Our own Protestant and Judeo-Masonic world features devils masquerading as physicians who strive to find every pretext imaginable to avoid giving ordinary care to patients they deem worthy of death.

United States Attorney General William Barr’s Remarks on Red China, July 16, 2020
Just as consequential, however, are the PRC’s plans to dominate the world’s digital infrastructure through its “Digital Silk Road” initiative. I have previously spoken at length about the grave risks of allowing the world’s most powerful dictatorship to build the next generation of global telecommunications networks, known as 5G. Perhaps less widely known are the PRC’s efforts to surpass the United States in other cutting-edge fields like artificial intelligence. Through innovations such as machine learning and big data, artificial intelligence allows machines to mimic human functions, such as recognizing faces, interpreting spoken words, driving vehicles, and playing games of skill such as chess or the even more complex Chinese strategy game Go. AI long ago outmatched the world’s chess grandmasters. But the PRC’s interest in AI accelerated in 2016, when AlphaGo, a program developed by a subsidiary of Google, beat the world champion Go player at a match in South Korea. The following year, Beijing unveiled its “Next Generation Artificial Intelligence Plan,” a blueprint for leading the world in AI by 2030. Whichever nation emerges as the global leader in AI will be best positioned to unlock not only its considerable economic potential, but a range of military applications, such as the use of computer vision to gather intelligence.
The PRC’s drive for technological supremacy is complemented by its plan to monopolize rare earth materials, which play a vital role in industries such as consumer electronics, electric vehicles, medical devices, and military hardware. According to the Congressional Research Service, from the 1960s to the 1980s, the United States led the world in rare earth production.[6] “Since then, production has shifted almost entirely to China,” in large part due to lower labor costs and lighter environmental regulation.[7]
The United States is now dangerously dependent on the PRC for these materials. Overall, China is America’s top supplier, accounting for about 80 percent of our imports. The risks of dependence are real. In 2010, for example, Beijing cut exports of rare earth materials to Japan after an incident involving disputed islands in the East China Sea. The PRC could do the same to us.
As China’s progress in these critical sectors illustrates, the PRC’s predatory economic policies are succeeding. For a hundred years, America was the world’s largest manufacturer — allowing us to serve as the world’s “arsenal of democracy.” China overtook the United States in manufacturing output in 2010. The PRC is now the world’s “arsenal of dictatorship.”
How did China accomplish all this? No one should underestimate the ingenuity and industry of the Chinese people. At the same time, no one should doubt that America made China’s meteoric rise possible. China has reaped enormous benefits from the free flow of American aid and trade. In 1980, Congress granted the PRC most-favored-nation trading status. In the 1990s, American companies strongly supported the PRC’s accession to the World Trade Organization and the permanent normalization of trade relations. Today, U.S.-China trade totals about $700 billion.
Last year, Newsweek ran a cover story titled “How America’s Biggest Companies Made China Great Again.”[8] The article details how China’s communist leaders lured American business with the promise of market access, and then, having profited from American investment and know-how, turned increasingly hostile. The PRC used tariffs and quotas to pressure American companies to give up their technology and form joint ventures with Chinese companies. Regulators then discriminated against American firms, using tactics like holding up permits. Yet few companies, even Fortune 500 giants, have been willing to bring a formal trade complaint for fear of angering Beijing.
Just as American companies have become dependent on the Chinese market, the United States as a whole now relies on the PRC for many vital goods and services. The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown a spotlight on that dependency. For example, China is the world’s largest producer of certain protective equipment, such as face masks and medical gowns. In March, as the pandemic spread around the world, the PRC hoarded the masks for itself, blocking producers — including American companies — from exporting them to countries in need. It then attempted to exploit the shortage for propaganda purposes, shipping limited quantities of often defective equipment and requiring foreign leaders to publicly thank Beijing.
China’s dominance of the world market for medical goods goes beyond masks and gowns. It has become the United States’ largest supplier of medical devices, while at the same time discriminating against American medical companies in China. China’s government has targeted foreign firms for greater regulatory scrutiny, instructed Chinese hospitals to buy products made in China, and pressured American firms to build factories in China, where their intellectual property is more vulnerable to theft. As one expert has observed, American medical device manufacturers are effectively “creating their own competitors.”[9]
America also depends on Chinese supply chains in other vital sectors, especially pharmaceuticals. America remains the global leader in drug discovery, but China is now the world’s largest producer of active pharmaceutical ingredients, known as “APIs.” As one Defense Health Agency official noted, “[s]hould China decide to limit or restrict the delivery of APIs to the [United States],” it “could result in severe shortages of pharmaceuticals for both domestic and military uses.”[10]
To achieve dominance in pharmaceuticals, China’s rulers went to the same playbook they used to gut other American industries. In 2008, the PRC designated pharmaceutical production as a “high-value-added-industry” and boosted Chinese companies with subsidies and export tax rebates.[11] Meanwhile, the PRC has systematically preyed on American companies. American firms face well-known obstacles in China’s health market, including drug approval delays, unfair pricing limitations, IP theft, and counterfeiting. Chinese nationals working as employees at pharma companies have been caught stealing trade secrets both in America and in China. And the CCP has long engaged in cyber-espionage and hacking of U.S. academic medical centers and healthcare companies.
In fact, PRC-linked hackers have targeted American universities and firms in a bid to steal IP related to coronavirus treatments and vaccines, sometimes disrupting the work of our researchers. Having been caught covering up the coronavirus outbreak, Beijing is desperate for a public relations coup, and may hope that it will be able to claim credit for any medical breakthroughs.
As all of these examples should make clear, the ultimate ambition of China’s rulers isn’t to trade with the United States. It is to raid the United States. If you are an American business leader, appeasing the PRC may bring short-term rewards. But in the end, the PRC’s goal is to replace you. As a U.S. Chamber of Commerce report put it, “[t]he belief by foreign companies that large financial investments, the sharing of expertise and significant technology transfers would lead to an ever opening China market is being replaced by boardroom banter that win-win in China means China wins twice.”[12]
Although Americans hoped that trade and investment would liberalize China’s political system, the fundamental character of the regime has never changed. As its ruthless crackdown of Hong Kong demonstrates once again, China is no closer to democracy today than it was in 1989 when tanks confronted pro-democracy protesters in Tiananmen Square. It remains an authoritarian, one-party state in which the Communist Party wields absolute power, unchecked by popular elections, the rule of law, or an independent judiciary. The CCP surveils its own people and assigns them social credit scores, employs an army of government censors, tortures dissidents, and persecutes religious and ethnic minorities, including a million Uighurs detained in indoctrination and labor camps.
If what happened in China stayed in China, that would all be bad enough. But instead of America changing China, China is leveraging its economic power to change America. As this Administration’s China Strategy recognizes, “the CCP’s campaign to compel ideological conformity does not stop at China’s borders.”[13] Rather, the CCP seeks to extend its influence around the world, including on American soil.
All too often, for the sake of short-term profits, American companies have succumbed to that influence—even at the expense of freedom and openness in the United States. Sadly, examples of American business bowing to Beijing are legion.
Take Hollywood. Hollywood actors, producers, and directors pride themselves on celebrating freedom and the human spirit. And every year at the Academy Awards, Americans are lectured about how this country falls short of Hollywood’s ideals of social justice. But Hollywood now regularly censors its own movies to appease the Chinese Communist Party, the world’s most powerful violator of human rights. This censorship infects not only versions of movies that are released in China, but also many that are shown in American theaters to American audiences.
For example, the hit movie World War Z depicts a zombie apocalypse caused by a virus. The original version of the film reportedly contained a scene with characters speculating that the virus may have originated in China. (In the novel, Patient Zero is a boy from Chongqing.) But the studio, Paramount Pictures, reportedly told producers to delete the reference to China in the hope of landing a Chinese distribution deal. The deal never materialized.
In the Marvel Studios blockbuster Dr. Strange, filmmakers changed the nationality of a major character known as the “Ancient One,” a Tibetan monk in the comic books, from Tibetan to Celtic. When challenged about this, a screenwriter explained that “if you acknowledge that Tibet is a place and that he’s Tibetan, you risk alienating one billion people.”[14] Or, he continued, the Chinese government might say “[w]e’re not going to show your movie because you decided to get political.”[15]
These are just two examples of the many Hollywood films that have been altered, one way or another, to conform to CCP propaganda. National Security Advisor O’Brien offered even more examples in his remarks. But many more scripts likely never see the light of day, because writers and producers know not to even test the limits. Chinese government censors don’t need to say a word, because Hollywood is doing their work for them. This is a massive propaganda coup for the Chinese Communist Party.
The story of the film industry’s submission to the CCP is a familiar one. In the past two decades, China has emerged as the world’s largest box office. The CCP has long tightly controlled access to that lucrative market—both through quotas on American films, imposed in violation of China’s WTO obligations, and a strict censorship regime. Increasingly, Hollywood also relies on Chinese money for financing. In 2018, films with Chinese investors accounted for 20 percent of U.S. box-office ticket sales, compared to only 3.8 percent five years earlier.
But in the long run, as with other American industries, the PRC may be less interested in cooperating with Hollywood than co-opting Hollywood—and eventually replacing it with its own homegrown productions. To accomplish this, the CCP has been following its usual modus operandi. By imposing a quota on American films, the CCP pressures Hollywood studios to form joint ventures with Chinese companies, who then gain access to U.S. technology and know-how. As one Chinese film executive recently put it, “[e]verything we learned, we learned from Hollywood.”[16] Notably, in 2019, eight of the 10 top-grossing films in China were produced in China.
Hollywood is far from alone in kowtowing to the PRC. America’s big tech companies have also allowed themselves to become pawns of Chinese influence.
In the year 2000, when the United States normalized trade relations with China, President Clinton hailed the new century as one in which “liberty will be spread by cell phone and cable modem.”[17] Instead, over the course of the next decade, American companies such as Cisco helped the Communist Party build the Great Firewall of China—the world’s most sophisticated system for Internet surveillance and censorship.
Over the years, corporations such as Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, and Apple have shown themselves all too willing to collaborate with the CCP. For example, Apple recently removed the news app Quartz from its app store in China, after the Chinese government complained about coverage of the Hong Kong democracy protests. Apple also removed apps for virtual private networks, which had allowed users to circumvent the Great Firewall, and eliminated pro-democracy songs from its Chinese music store. Meanwhile, the company announced that it would be transferring some of its iCloud data to servers in China, despite concerns that the move would give the CCP easier access to e-mails, text messages, and other user information stored in the cloud.
The CCP has long used public threats of retaliation and barred market access to exert influence. More recently, however, the CCP has also stepped up behind-the-scenes efforts to cultivate and coerce American business executives to further its political objectives — efforts that are all the more pernicious because they are largely hidden from public view.
As China’s government loses credibility around the world, the Department of Justice has seen more and more PRC officials and their proxies reaching out to corporate leaders and inveighing them to favor policies and actions favored by the Chinese Communist Party. Their objective varies, but their pitch is generally the same: the businessperson has economic interests in China, and there is a suggestion that things will go better (or worse) for them depending on their response to the PRC’s request. Privately pressuring or courting American corporate leaders to promote policies (or politicians) presents a significant threat, because hiding behind American voices allows the Chinese government to elevate its influence and put a “friendly face” on pro-regime policies. The legislator or policymaker who hears from a fellow American is properly more sympathetic to that constituent than to a foreigner. And by masking its participation in our political process, the PRC avoids accountability for its influence efforts and the public outcry that might result, if its lobbying were exposed.
America’s corporate leaders might not think of themselves as lobbyists. You might think, for example, that cultivating a mutually beneficial relationship is just part of the “guanxi” — or system of influential social networks—necessary to do business with the PRC. But you should be alert to how you might be used, and how your efforts on behalf of a foreign company or government could implicate the Foreign Agents Registration Act. FARA does not prohibit any speech or conduct. But it does require those who are acting as the “agents” of foreign principals to publicly disclose that relationship and their political or other similar activities by registering with the Justice Department, allowing the audience to take into account the origin of the speech when evaluating its credibility.[18]
These requirements are designed not to stifle your rights to free expression, which are protected by the First Amendment, but rather to ensure that the American public and their legislators can discern what or who is the true source of speech on matters of public concern.
By focusing on American business leaders, of course, I don’t mean to suggest that they are the only targets of Chinese influence operations. The Chinese Communist Party also seeks to infiltrate, censor, or co-opt American academic and research institutions. For example, dozens of American universities host Chinese government-funded “Confucius Institutes,” which have been accused of pressuring host universities to silence discussion or cancel events on topics considered controversial by Beijing. Universities must stand up for each other; refuse to let the CCP dictate research efforts or suppress diverse voices; support colleagues and students who wish to speak their minds; and consider whether any sacrifice of academic integrity or freedom is worth the price of appeasing the CCP’s demands.
In a globalized world, American corporations and universities alike may view themselves as global citizens, rather than American institutions. But they should remember that what allowed them to succeed in the first place was the American free enterprise system, the rule of law, and the security afforded by America’s economic, technological, and military strength.
Globalization does not always point in the direction of greater freedom. A world marching to the beat of Communist China’s drums will not be a hospitable one for institutions that depend on free markets, free trade, or the free exchange of ideas.
There was a time American companies understood that. They saw themselves as American and proudly defended American values . . . .
o too today. The American people are more attuned than ever to the threat that the Chinese Communist Party poses not only to our way of life, but to our very lives and livelihoods. And they will increasingly call out corporate appeasement.
If individual companies are afraid to make a stand, there is strength in numbers. As Justice Powell wrote: “Strength lies in organization, in careful long-range planning and implementation, in consistency of action over an indefinite period of years, in the scale of financing available only through joint effort, and in the political power available only through united action and national organizations.”[21] Despite years of acquiescence to communist authorities in China, American tech companies may finally be finding their courage through collective action. Following the recent imposition of the PRC’s draconian national security law in Hong Kong, many big tech companies, including Facebook, Google, Twitter, Zoom, and LinkedIn, reportedly announced that they would temporarily suspend compliance with governmental requests for user data. True to form, communist officials have threatened imprisonment for noncompliant company employees. We will see if these companies hold firm. I hope they do. If they stand together, they will provide a worthy example for other American companies in resisting the Chinese Communist Party’s corrupt and dictatorial rule.
The CCP has launched an orchestrated campaign, across all of its many tentacles in Chinese government and society, to exploit the openness of our institutions in order to destroy them. To secure a world of freedom and prosperity for our children and grandchildren, the free world will need its own version of the whole-of-society approach, in which the public and private sectors maintain their essential separation but work together collaboratively to resist domination and to win the contest for the commanding heights of the global economy. America has done that before. If we rekindle our love and devotion for our country and each other, I am confident that we—the American people, American government, and American business together—can do it again. Our freedom depends on it. (United States Attorney General William Barr's Remarks on Red China.)
Appendix C
Excerpts from a Sedeplenist Critique of Ludwig von Mises
Mises recognized that Austrian order and Catholic order would always be at odds. “A living Christianity,” said Mises, “cannot exist side by side with, and within, Capitalism” (Quoted in Jorg Guido Hulsmann, Mises, the Last Knight of Liberalism, p. 982). Later in his career, Mises would allow that Christianity could exist within capitalism, but only if the Christians kept their opinions to themselves, only if they were marginalized and kept apart from the political and economic orders. As Murry Rothbard admits, Mises considered himself a “man of 1789, an heir of the Enlightenment, (http://www.lewrockwell.com/rothbard/rothbard169.html),” that is, a man of the French Revolution. And the great advantage of the French Revolution, from the standpoint of liberalism, was that it destroyed the older social order in general and the social authority of the Church in particular. As Mises himself put it, “for us and for humanity there is only one salvation: return to the rationalistic liberalism of the ideas of 1789” (Mises, Nation, State and Economy, p. 239.)
Mises’s antipathy towards Christianity begins with his disdain for its founder.
[Jesus] rejects everything that exists without offering anything to replace it. He arrives at dissolving all existing social ties…. The motive force behind the purity and power of this complete negation is ecstatic inspiration and enthusiastic hope of a new world. Hence his passionate attack upon everything that exists. Everything may be destroyed because God in His omnipotence will rebuild the future order…. The clearest modern parallel to the attitude of complete negation of primitive Christianity is Bolshevism. (Socialism, p. 413)
Another thing about Jesus that rankles Mises is his attitude towards the Rich:
Jesus’s words are full of resentment against the rich, and the Apostles are no meeker in this respect. The Rich Man is condemned because he is rich, the Beggar praised because he is poor…. In God’s Kingdom the poor shall be rich, but the rich shall be made to suffer. Later revisers have tried to soften the words of Christ against the rich … but there is quite enough left to support those who incite the world to hatred of the rich, revenge, murder and arson…. This is a case in which the Redeemer’s words bore evil seed. More harm has been done, and more blood shed, on account of them than by the persecution of heretics and the burning of witches. They have always rendered the Church defenceless against all movements which aim at destroying human society. The church as an organization has certainly always stood on the side of those who tried to ward off communistic attack. But it … was continually disarmed by the words: “Blessed be ye poor; for yours is the Kingdom of God.” (Socialism, p. 420)
This rejection of Christ is hardly surprising, since Mises rejects the whole idea of an omnipotent God (Human Action, p. 70). An all-perfect, acting being is self-contradictory for Mises, since action itself is, quite literally, the sign of a disease, or rather a dis-ease; action can only arise from unhappiness. Mises rejects Christian love as the basis of social order, and reduces it to self-interest and the fear of violence:
Social cooperation has nothing to do with personal love or with a general commandment to love one another… [People] cooperate because this best serves their own interests. Neither love nor charity nor any other sympathetic sentiment but rightly understood selfishness is what originally impelled man to adjust himself to the requirements of society…and to substitute peaceful collaboration to enmity and conflict. (Human Action, p. 168-9)
This is about as far from Christian anthropology as it is possible to get. In rejecting caritas and the other forms of love as the basis of action, Mises deprives even “self-interest” of any rational basis, that is, of any possible basis of determining whether an action actually is in one’s own interest. “Self-interest” means no more than “what one wants” at some particular moment.
Now, one may agree or disagree with Mises in all of this, but in either case it simply cannot be reconciled with Catholic Social Teaching. It is not even, as Murray Rothbard notes, conservative in any possible meaning of that term. It is, rather, the quintessence of Enlightenment Liberalism, the French Revolution continued in our day. So why should we even be concerned with any of this? After all, there are any number of nutty liberals and by and large they certainly don’t get the attention from the right that Mises does.
The surrender to the Enlightenment among certain Catholic intellectuals on the right is more or less complete. For example, Michael Novak, a nominal Catholic, notes that an attempt “to try to run an economy by the highest Christian principles is certain to destroy both the economy and the reputation of Christianity” (The Spirit of Democratic Capitalism, p. 70).
For Novak, there is no sacred canopy that covers society, but only an “empty altar” in which each man places the idols of his own choosing. Religion in this case is not really the repository of truth, but merely a consumer product giving the purchases whatever satisfactions can be purchased. This requires, Novak tells us, “not only a new theology but a new type of religion” (Novak, p. 69). Not that Christianity would be done away with; it would be allowed to modify itself to conform to the new ideology:
Yet if Jewish and Christian conceptions of human life are sound, and if they fit the new social order of pluralism, the widespread nostalgia for a traditional form of social order may be resisted…For the full exercise of their humanity, being both finite and sinful, free persons require pluralist institutions (Novak, p. 69-70).
For this “new theology” and “new religion,” Novak finds it necessary to drain Christian dogmas of their original meaning and convert them into mere supports for corporate capitalism. The Trinity, for example, is only a “symbol,” since “no one has ever seen God” (Novak, p. 337). The point of this symbolic Trinity is to teach us about pluralism. The Incarnation is the sign of religious futility: it is no longer the salvific act of a loving God but the ultimate demonstration of the futility of good intentions.
The point of the Incarnation is to respect the world as it is, to acknowledge its limits… and to disbelieve any promises that the world is now or ever will be transformed into the City of God. If Jesus could not effect that, how shall we? …The world is not going to become—ever—a kingdom of justice and love (Novak, p. 341).
I think it is clear that many conservatives have simply forgotten what it is we should be conserving. If our popular pundits have come to resemble more and more a Marat or a Robespierre, it is because they are conserving the values of the French Revolution under the tutelage of Ludwig von Mises. Increasingly, there is more of Danton than of Burke in American conservatism. They have, implicitly and often explicitly, accepted his these that the “one salvation” of mankind lies in the French Revolution. The “empty altar” of Novak is not really empty; or rather, its very emptiness is the point: nihilism as an idol. (The One Salvation of Ludwig von Mises.)

Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal one-child policy, I applauded when it finally ended in 2016.
But what the CCP is now doing to slash birth rates among its Uyghur and Kazakh minority in China’s Far West is arguably worse. While it involves the same horrific practices of forced abortion and sterilization that I first documented in 1980—practices that the Nuremberg Tribunal declared to be crimes against humanity—there is one stark difference: It is only being imposed on ethnic minorities, namely the Turkish speaking Uyghurs of the region known as Xinjiang.
That’s right. For the past few years, while Communist China’s leaders have been encouraging Han Chinese women to have more children, they have been ordering Uyghur women to have fewer. Hundreds of thousands of Uyghur women have been forced to have abortions, undergo sterilization, or wear IUDs to reduce the Uyghur birth rate. Those who resist are sentenced to concentration camps, where they are sterilized anyway.
The CCP’s new policy is genocide, albeit in slow motion. The Party is not killing off the Uyghur people in quick-time by, say, herding them into gas chambers. But by eliminating the majority of the next generation they will achieve the same end over time—a greatly reduced number of this ancient people, who will then be more easily dispersed and assimilated.
Until recently, we had only anecdotal accounts of this new population control campaign. An Uyghur woman named Mihrigul Tursun testified in 2018 that she and other women in a Chinese concentration camp were chemically sterilized by injection. Another former inmate, Rakhima Senbay, reported having an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUD) involuntarily inserted (Washington Post, October 5, 2019). A third, Zumrat Dawut, had to pay a hefty fine and undergo sterilization after having a third child (Washington Post, November 17, 2019).
What we didn’t know, with any certainty, was how widespread the campaign was, and the extent to which it was driven by the central government. Thanks to a just-published investigation by researcher Adrian Zenz, we now have the answers to such questions.
e now know, for example, that the population control campaign underway in Xinjiang is even more coercive than that imposed for decades on the majority of the Han Chinese population. Chinese government documents obtained by Zenz state that the punishment for violating the Planned Birth regulations is internment in Xinjiang’s sprawling network of concentration camps. As severe as the earlier campaign was, violators were not subjected to long prison terms. Uyghur women are.
From the very beginning of Communist China’s Planned Birth campaign, targets and quotas set by senior officials have been used to goad local officials into action. They are being used again in Xinjiang to great effect. Zenz reports that county-level documents from 2019 reveal plans to sterilize up to one-third of all the women of childbearing age in a single year. Uyghur women with more than one child were to be targeted.
Those Uyghur women who were not surgically sterilized—which is to say those with only one child--were forced to accept an IUD, Zenz found. In 2018, four out of every five IUDs implanted in all of China were done on Uyghur and Kazakh women, even though these two minorities constitute less than 1 percent of China’s population.
These severe measures have had, for the Chinese Communist Party, the intended result. Population growth in Xinjiang has dramatically declined to a fraction of its former level. But the CCP authorities continue to drive down the birth rate even further. As Zenz writes, “For 2020, one Uyghur region set an unprecedented near-zero population growth target … intended to be achieved through “family planning work”.
The overall goal of the population control regime imposed by the ruling Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in Xinjiang is, Zenz concludes, to reduce the Uyghur population in Xinjiang relative to the numbers of ethnic Han Chinese—and thereby to promote more rapid Uyghur assimilation into the “Chinese Nation-Race” (中华民族, Zhonghua Minzu).
I believe that the goal of CCP General Secretary Xi Jinping, however, may be even more ambitious. The Draconian nature of the population control program he has unleashed upon Uyghur women—along with the incarceration of between one to three million Uyghur men—suggests to me that he is not merely trying to ensure Han Chinese ethno-racial domination. There is no question that he has done that already given that Han Chinese account for 94 percent of China’s population. Rather, Xi is intent upon committing genocide, which is to say the elimination of the Uyghurs as a separate people from the face of the earth.
Whether that will be the long-term consequence of the brutal population campaign that the CCP has embarked upon remains to be seen. But it is already safe to conclude that what is happening in China violates the U.N. Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (United Nations, December 9, 1948).
As Dr. Zenz points out, his findings “provide the strongest evidence yet that Beijing’s policies in Xinjiang meet one of the genocide criteria, namely, ‘imposing measures intended to prevent births within the [targeted] group’ ”
The new report comes on the heels of the passage of the Uyghur Human Rights Act, which President Donald Trump on June 17th signed into law. The Act, passed on a rare bipartisan basis, authorizes sanctions against Chinese officials who participate in “human rights violations and abuses such as the systematic use of indoctrination camps, forced labor and intrusive surveillance to eradicate the ethnic identity and religious beliefs of Uyghurs and other minorities.”
The U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo followed up on July 9th by announcing that "The United States will not stand idly by as the CCP carries out human rights abuses targeting Uyghurs, ethnic Kazakhs and members of other minority groups in Xinjiang to include force labor, arbitrary mass detention and forced population control and attempts to erase their culture and Muslim faith."
Not only did Pompeo condemn what he called the “horrific practice” of “forced population control”, he went on to sanction four Chinese individuals, including Chen Quangguo, the Party Secretary of Xinjiang, who as a member of the 25-man Politburo, is one of the CCP’s top leaders.
The leaders of the CCP, predictably, reacted with fury. The spokesman for China’s Foreign Ministry first derided stories of population control atrocities as “fabricated” and “fake news,” claiming that the CCP Party-State treats all ethnicities equally and protects the legal rights of minorities. Not long thereafter, it announced it would retaliate by sanctioning four U.S. officials in turn.
Those who received this back-handed “badge of honor” from the CCP are well known to those in pro-life circles. They are Congressman Christopher (R, N.J.), Senator Ted Cruz (R, TX), Senator Marco Rubio (R, FL), and the U.S. Ambassador at Large for Religious Freedom Sam Brownback. (Note that not a single member of the Democrat Party is being sanctioned.)
By “sanctioning” U.S. officials, however, the leaders of the CCP have perhaps admitted more than they intended. Perhaps they have "admitted" that they, not local Xinjiang officials, are behind the Uyghur genocide. I believe that the decision to commit genocide was made in the Politburo itself, which of course is headed by its General Secretary, Xi Jinping.
It is time to move from sanctioning local officials Xinjiang to sanctioning those who are in fact responsible: The leaders of the criminal enterprise that is the Chinese Communist Party.
Our allies should do the same. As I mentioned above, the CCP genocide of Uyghurs is a violation of the "Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide". And under the convention, nations have a duty "to prevent and to punish" any instance where genocide is committed.
The Trump administration has acted. Other nations must follow. (Are Chinese Communists Using Forced Abortion and Sterilizaion to Wipe Out Minority Population?)
