Joseph Alois Ratzinger: Without A Word of Contrition for His Crimes of Heresy

Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI recently issued an "apology" for what he described as "faults" during the short time he was the conciliar "archbishop" of the venerable Archdiocese of Munich and Freising, Germany, from 1977 to 1982.

Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI should be apologizing for his Seventy Long Years of Priestly Apostasy. As one who prays every day for his conversion and public abjuration of his sins against the Holy Faith before he dies, this review of his antipapal record should serve as a reminder to those who want to cut this pitiable figure a "break." He has misled souls through his entirely priestly life, and he remains clueless as to how he continues to offend the true God of Divine Revelation, the Most Blessed Trinity, which is why we must pray for his conversion as we fulfill our duties to perform the Spiritual Works of Mercy and commend him to Our Lady, whose most sweet name of Holy Mary, rarely passes his lips publicly, so that he might awaken to the fact of his crimes and turn to her for the graces of admitting them publicly and issuing a full apology for them

Lest we be smug, however, we must always recognize that the moment of our own death can occur at any time, remembering that our sins have worsened the state of the world-at-large and the state of the Church Militant on earth far, far more than we know or would care to admit.

We need our Our Lady's help to go home to Heaven for we are lost for all eternity without her blessed hope, which is why we must be ever conscious of our need to make good use of our time by praying as many Rosaries each day as a our state-in-life permits.

Another conciliarism-related article will be published in several days.

Finally, I have started a GiveSendGo page to help raise funds for the medical expenses that have caught with me eight weeks, two days after the two-hour surgery to repair four fractures in might rip hip. I have chosen "GiveSendGo" to avoid any furthe contact with "GoFundMe" given its treatment of the Canadian truckers who are demanding an end to the totalitarian vaccine mandates in the People's Republic of Red Canada. A commentary on the trucker boycott will appear by the end of next week.

On the Feast of the Apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Lourdes, France

Today is the one hundred sixty-fourth anniversary of the first apparition of Our Lady to Saint Bernadette Soubirous in the Grotto of Massabielle near Lourdes, France. Our Lady explained to the fourteen year-old Bernadette that we must do penance for our sins and for those of others.

Can we do any less in our day?

Indeed, the state of the Church Militant on earth and of the world-at-large has worsened as the sins of men have grown more numerous and more daring and as most baptized Catholics have been deprived of access to Sanctifying Grace by virtue of the invalid sacraments offered in the counterfeit church of conciliarism. God is not going to permit any country that kills the innocent preborn with legal impunity and kills souls in the name of the falsehoods of "freedom of speech" and "freedom of the press" and "freedom of religion" and a general sense of legal and cultural licentiousness to know long term material prosperity. Then again, these merchants of death have been enabled by the conciliar revolutionaries, who believe that signs of "outward penance belong to a different era in the history of the Church." We must indeed take Our Lady's injunction, "Penance! Penance! Penance! Pray to God for sinners," most seriously as we pray as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permits.

A new article, focusing on Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI's recent "apology"/apologia, will be published within ten minutes of this republished reflection.

As Always, Pro-Aborts are More Perfectly Committed to Evil Than So-Called "Pro-Life" Pols are to Opposing Such Evils

Another Supreme Court nomination is in the offing, meaning that it is again time for supposedly "pro-life" Republican senators to step all over themselves to demonstrate how they want to support a "qualified" nominee.

There is one little problem with this: No one is "qualified" to serve in any office of public trust, whether elected or appointed, if he or she supports the slicing and dicing of innocent human beings under cover of the civil law under any or all circumstances.

Another commentary will follow in a few days.

Forty Days after Christmas: The Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Today is the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, always the humble handmaid of the Lord who humbled herself this day, the last day of Christmastide, which ends after Holy Mass today, by submitting to the rituals of the law although she was not in need of such a ritualistic purification because of her Perpetual Virginity.

This is the day that Our Lady presented her Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, in the same Temple where He would be found twelve years later answering questions of the rabbis, the same Temple whose curtain would be torn in two from top to bottom as He breathed His last on the wood of the Holy Cross to redeem us, thereby signifying the permanent end of the Old Covenant and the supersession of Judaism by Catholicism as the true religion. The aged Simeon, who waited patiently every day in the Temple for the fulfillment of the promise that God had made to him, that he would not die before his eyes had seen and his arms had beheld the Messiah, sent the first Sword of Sorrow plunging through Our Lady's Sorrowful and and Immaculate Heart when he prophesied that the Child he beheld would be destined for the rise and for the fall of man, a sign to be opposed, a Sign of Contradiction. We must never fear to be signs of contradiction in our own lives in imitation of the THE Sign of Contradiction, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, as He hung on the wood of the Holy Cross to redeem us as he was mocked and reviled by the very people from whose stock He had taken His Sacred Humanity.

We must be willing to suffer all manner of calumny and humiliation for the many times that we have preferred human respect to fidelity to Our Lord, for the many times we have refused to call upon Our Lady's maternal intercession, for the many times we have refused to "take sides," especially in our day by refusing to reject conciliarism and its ravenous wolves once and for all.

Revised and Expanded: Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus, part sixteen

As there were numerous formatting problems that I noticed after posting the orignal version of this commentary, which is not as long as some of the previous parts of this series have been, I have done what I could remove the problems I noticed and have also added one link and one additional news story to provide further documentation of the facts presented herein.

Although I would like to say that this sixteenth part of the "Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus" exhausts the subject, I know that I have said this in the past only to realize that it was important to continue the commentaries.

We must realize the prophetic moment in which we are living. Amoral monsters are using a virus, which can make people very sick and cause them to die if proper medical treatments are denied to those infected it, as the means to accustom the masses to a Red Chinese-style system of social control, including censorship, the punishment of dissenters, internal "passports" based upon vaccination status, and and thorough campaign to divide entire nations by pitting the "vaxxed" against the "unvaxxed."

What passed for "normalcy" in this anti-Incarnational world of Modernity will never return, but we must for the return of the true normalcy of a world rightly oriented to Christ the King and His true Church wherein those in civil government seek to pursue the common temporal good in light of man's Last End, namely, the possession of the Beatific Vision of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost for all eternity.

The final triumph belongs to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Every Rosary we pray helps to plant seeds for this triumph, which will see a return to a Christocentric world in which people fear to die in a state of Mortal Sin rather than fearing any virus, disease or medical condition.

Saint John Bosco, Father and Teacher of the Young and Devoted Client of Our Lady, Help of Christians

Today, Monday, January 31, 2022, is the feast of the great Saint John Bosco, to whom we are very devoted. This is a revised reflection on an extraordinary priest who had a zeal for the salvation of souls in his youth, a zeal that would last until he died on this date in 1888, one hundred twenty-eight years ago.

Saint John Bosco stands a rebuke to everything that manner in which the conciliar revolutionaries refuse to seek converts to what they think is the Catholic Church and the manner in which they reaffirm unrepentant sinners in lives that could lead them to Hell for all eternity if they do not go to Confession and amend their lives. This brief reflection, written about nine years ago now, is an effort to capture the spirit of this magnificent teacher of the young, mystic and zealous apostle of souls.

Although it has taken a while, "Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus, part sixteen," was published a few minutes before the posting of this revised reflection.

Saint Francis de Sales: As Gentle and as Firm as the Divine Master Himself

Today, Saturday, January 29, 2022, is the Feast of Saint Francis de Sales.

I am hereby republishing a brief and woefully indequate account of the Apostle of Charity and zealous foe of Calvinism.

Part sixteen of "Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus" is progressing nicely. It is my hope to finish it in time for posting on Sunday, January 30, 2022, but it is more likely that the protracted commentary will be published on the Feast of Saint John Bosco, Monday, January 31, 2022.

To Defend the Preborn We Must Defend Catholic Truth in Its Entirety

Although the forty-ninth anniversary of the decisions of the Supreme Court of the United States of America in the cases of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton was on Saturday, January 22, 2022, the Feast of Saints Vincent and Anastasius, this revised and much expanded commentary is designed to remind the readers of this site that abortion-on-demand did not start with Roe v. Wade and that it will end if this unjust decision is reversed in five months.

The slow but steady march to the surgical execution of children under the cover of the civil law has antecedent roots dating back to certain elements of the Renaissance that set the stage for the Protestant Revolution and the susbequent rise of the welter of Judeo-Masonic political ideologies that have produced the triumph of religious indifferentism and thus of practical atheism as the lowest common denominators in social life.

Part sixteen of "Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus" is being written but may not appear until Sunday, January 30, 2022, the Fourth Sunday after the Epiphany. Thank you for your patience.

On the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle

Today's offering a republished reflection on the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle.

My annual commentary on the anniversary of the decisions of the Supreme Court of the United States of America in the cases of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, January 22, 1973, has undergone an enlargement with substantial revisions. It should be published sometime by Thursday, January 26, 2023, the Feast of Saint Polycarp.

Work on part six of "Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus" has been consuming my time as well. I imagine that it will not be until this weekend before the article is ready to be published. Thank you.
