On the Feast of Saint John Bosco, January 31, 2025

Today, Friday, January 31, 2025, is the feast of the great Saint John Bosco, to whom we are very devoted. This is a revised reflection on an extraordinary priest who had a zeal for the salvation of souls in his youth, a zeal that would last until he died on this date in 1888, one hundred thirty-seven years ago.

Saint John Bosco stands a rebuke to the conciliar revolutionaries, who refuse to seek converts to what they think is the Catholic Church and the manner in which they reaffirm unrepentant sinners in lives that could lead them to Hell for all eternity if they do not go to Confession and amend their lives. This brief reflection, written about fifteen years ago now, is an effort to capture the spirit of this magnificent teacher of the young, mystic and zealous apostle of souls.

Much is happening within the mad world of naturalism and within the even madder world of conciliarism, and the next commentary, which is proceeding apace, focuses on the intesection these two worlds of madness that divorced from Christ the King and His true Church.

As many of you know by now, Bishop Richard Williamson has died. Please pray for the repose of his immortal soul. Requiescat in pace.

Finally, we need to pray also for the souls of the people who were killed when an United States Army Black Hawk helicopter crashed into an American Airlines plan over the Potomac River just before the plane was to land at Ronald Reagan National Airport. This a terrible tragedy and a reminder that we never know when the Divine Master is going to ask us to settle our accounts with Him at the moment of the Particular Judgment. We pray also for the consolation of the relatives of those who have died.

May God have mercy on us all!

There Are Laws and There Are Laws

This commentary concerns the fact that many who belong to the organized crime family of the naturalist "left" pride themselves on resisting the enforcement of just laws regulating the migration of foreigners into the United Statesof America while at the same time using their levers of injustice to punish political opponents to enforce unjust laws against those who engage in nonviolent acts of civil disobedience to prevent the slaughter of innocent babies under the cover of the civil law.

There will be a follow-up commentary tomorrow, the Feast of Saint John Bosco, that will focus on the enabling of illegal immgration and the protection even of the most violent among them by the lords of conciliarism, up to and including Jorge Mario Bergoglio himself.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Martina, pray for us.

On the Feast of Saint Francis de Sales

Today, Wednesday, January 29, 2025, is the Feast of Saint Francis de Sales.

I am hereby republishing a brief and woefully indequate account of the Apostle of Charity and zealous foe of Calvinism.

Another original article should be published in twenty-four hours. (Yesterday's procedures went well, but I am tired from being up for nearly two days, which is why I cannot complete my commentary about the lords of conciliarism and their affinity for violent illegal aliens.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Francis de Sales, pray for us.

Benedictus Qui Venit in Nomine Domini, Hosanna in Excelsis, part nine

As I am preparing for two medical screening procedures that require me to be at a surgery center in about five and one-half hours from the time of this article's posting, suffice it to say that this is a brief response to President Donald John Trump's desire to "clean out" the Palestinians from Gaza and to his son-in-law's suggesting that the waterfront property along the Gaza Strip would make for a great real estate investment for purposes of development.

One cannot make this stuff up.

The completion of the next commentary is contingent upon how I feel after I get home from the two screening procedures, one of them being an endoscopy, and whether I have the physical strength to continue work on it that I suspended to write the current commentary.

Our Lady of Ransom, pray for us.

Saint Peter Nolasco, pray for us.

Saint Agnes, pray for us.

Deeds Must Match Rhetoric

[Update on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 11:50 p.m.: As the article described below was posted early this morning, I do not want to stay up that late again after having worked all day on a commentary about a statement released by the so-called United States Conference of Catholic Bishops condemning the Trump administration's decision to conduct Immigration and Custom Enforcement raids in conciliar churches, schools, and other institutions.

[However, that commentary is being on hold after having learned of President Donald John Trump's desire to "clean out Gaza," meaning to get rid of the Palestinians whose homes have been reduced to rubble after fifteeen months of relentless Israeli bombing as though the Palestinians are so much "garbage" who must be "cleaned out" of a land in which many of their parents and grandparents were forced to flee after their centuries-old properties in what became Israel were seized by the Zionists in 1948 and thereafter.

[As though this monstrous proposal, which takes no account of the ongoing Israeli genocide against innocent Palestinians, was not proof in and of itself of Donald John Trump's complete submission to whatever Benjamin Netanayahu wans done, the president's son-in-law had the chutzpah to say that Gaza could be "developed" for real-estate purposes once it is "cleaned out":

Jared Kushner has praised the “very valuable” potential of Gaza’s “waterfront property” and suggested Israel should remove civilians while it “cleans up” the strip.

The former property dealer, married to Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka, made the comments in an interview at Harvard University on 15 February. The interview was posted on the YouTube channel of the Middle East Initiative, a program of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, earlier this month.

Kushner was a senior foreign policy adviser under Trump’s presidency and was tasked with preparing a peace plan for the Middle East. Critics of the plan, which involved Israel striking normalisation deals with Gulf states, said it bypassed questions about the future for Palestinians.

His remarks at Harvard gave a hint of the kind of Middle East policy that could be pursued in the event that Trump returns to the White House, including a search for a normalisation deal between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

“Gaza’s waterfront property could be very valuable … if people would focus on building up livelihoods,” Kushner told his interviewer, the faculty chair of the Middle East Initiative, Prof Tarek Masoud. Kushner also lamented “all the money” that had gone into the territory’s tunnel network and munitions instead of education and innovation.

“It’s a little bit of an unfortunate situation there, but from Israel’s perspective I would do my best to move the people out and then clean it up,” Kushner said. “But I don’t think that Israel has stated that they don’t want the people to move back there afterwards.”

Masoud replied that there was “a lot to talk about there”.

Kushner also said he thinks Israel should move civilians from Gaza to the Negev desert in southern Israel.

He said that if he were in charge of Israel his number one priority would be getting civilians out of the southern city of Rafah, and that “with diplomacy” it could be possible to get them into Egypt.

“But in addition to that, I would just bulldoze something in the Negev, I would try to move people in there,” he said. “I think that’s a better option, so you can go in and finish the job.” (Jared Kushner says Gaza’s ‘waterfront property could be very valuable’.)

[Finish the job, Jared?

[What job? Destroying the homes of innocent human beings?

[Gee, I wonder where we have heard that before?

[Thus, my focus tomorrow, Monday, January 27, 2025, the Feast of Saint John Chrysostom (and the seventy-third anniversary of my Baptism at the hands of Father John Dushan at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Queens Village, New York), will be on this new development, which takes precedence over the other six commentaries that I am working on at this time. All will get done in due course, God willing and Our Lady interceding.]

This is a review of President Donald John Trump's pre-recorded remarks to the attendees at the March for Life on Friday, January 24, 2025, the Feast of Saint Timothy (which is nowhere to be found on the White House website, by the way), and his restoration of his presidential memorandum of January 23, 2017, which itself was but a reiteration of the Mexico City Policy issued on January 22, 2001, by George Walker Bush.

I will return to some of the new adminstration's initiatives in a few days after addressing the newly minted Freemason Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.'s., final actions before going back to his basement in Delaware to eat ice cream and then discussing Jorge Mario Bergoglio's "suggestion" Catholics and the heretical and schismatic Orthodox celebrate Easter jointly this year as the Orthodox celebrate Easter on the same day as Catholics this year, Sunday, April 20, 2025.

Finally, it is unclear whether Bishop Richard Williamson has died or is dying from a brain hemmorhage (see Former SSPX Bishop Richard Williamson Is Dying – Novus Ordo Watch). Pray to Saint Joseph so that His Excellency to have a holy death and, of course, for the repose of his immortal soul once news of his death is confirmed.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Joseph, Patron of Departing Souls, pray for us.

Saint Polycarp, pray for us.

On the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle, January 25, 2025

Today's offering is a republished reflection on the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle.

Now, I should explain that one of the reasons I have had difficulty in recent weeks completing articles on something approximating the speed with which I was able to complete them in the past is that the rheumatoid arthritis in my left hand is excruciatingly painful. It is simply difficult to type. This is superb penance and thus a great gift from the good God for me to make reparation for my sins as the consecrated slave of His Co-Equal, Co-Eternal Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,  as His consecrated slave through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Deo gratias.

However, the affliction is interfering with my work more than I thought was possibe, and I thus ask your patience as I complete new commentaries as best as I able. Thank you. Penance is better than ever in 2025.

The next commentary concerns yesterday's March for Life and the addresses given by President Donald John Trump and Vice President James David Vance.

Finally, let us continue to give thanks to Our Lord and His Most Blessed Mother for the release of the pro-life prisoners of conscience following their being pardoned by President Trump.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Paul, pray for us.

Saint Peter, pray for us.

Grateful for the Pardon of Pro-Life Prisoners of Conscience, Mindful of Catholic Truth as the Means to End Baby-Killing

This a commentary about President Donald John Trump's pardoning of twenty-three pro-life prisoners of conscience, including two people from years past whom I have known and for I have prayed every day for decades, John Hinshaw and Mrs. Joan Andrews Bell, and a reminder about the simple fact that baby-butchery did not start with Roe v. Wade, January 22, 1973, and that baby-killing continues even in most of the "red" states with "exceptions" included in their anti-baby-killing legislation as well as in each of the "blue" states nearly three years after Roe's overthrow in the case of Thomas E. Dobbs, Mississippi State Health Officer v. Jackson Women's Organization, June 24, 2022.

Although I have been working on a commentary about former President in Name Only Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.'s., pardon of hardened criminals, almost every member of his immediately family and of Anthony Fauci, this current commentary took precedence. Indeed, I will follow up this commentary in light of President Trump's video message to the March for Life today as well as the remarks that will be delivered at the March itself by Vice President James David Vance.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Timothy, pray for us.

Conciliar Cowardice on Full Display in the Capitol Rotunda

So much was done by former President in Name Only Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., and so much was said by President Donald John Trump on Monday, January 20, 2025, the Feast of Saints Fabian and Sebastian, to say nothing of how much President Trump has done and is doing after having begun his second term as President of the United States of America, that it is going to take several articles to cover everything in the depth that I believe is necessary to put those words and actions into a coherent Catholic perspective.

This current commentary deals with the refusal of Timothy Michael Dolan and a "Father" Frank Mann to utter the Holy Name of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in their respective orations at the inauguration of President Trump and Vice President James David Vance in the Capitol Rotunda on Monday, January 20, 2025, the Feast of Saints Fabian and Sebastian. The next commentary will discuss former President in Name Only Joseph Robinette Biden's shameful pardons issued before he left office as he closed a shameful political career being very faithful to the hyprocrisy that has been his hallmark.

Today is the fifty-second anniversary of the decisions of the Supreme Court of the United States of America in the cases of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton. Baby-killing is still taking place in the United States of America and around the world. A commentary about the current state of affairs in this country will be published either on Friday, January 24, 2025, the Feast of Saint Timothy, or on Saturday, January 25, 2025, the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle and the Commemoration of Saint Peter. Remember to ask your priests to ring church bells at noon today, local time:

“Setting off a wave for LIFE that will resonate from sea to shining sea…“

By: Randy Engel

The U.S. Coalition for Life (USCL), the nation’s oldest prolife research organization, is asking pastors of every prolife denomination throughout the United States to ring their church bells at NOON local time on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 – the 55th anniversary of Roe V. Wade – in loving memory of the millions of unborn children that have since been lost to abortion.

CHURCH BELLS FOR LIFE is a clarion call to the entire Prolife Movement to renew its commitment to securing a Constitutional Human Life Amendment, one that acknowledges and protects the life of unborn children at all stages of human development.

“Bells for Life,” explained Randy Engel, the founder of the USCL, “should ring out loudest in Washington, D.C., so that President Donald Trump, who will be inaugurated just two days earlier, may come to understand that his greatest possible legacy will come from taking the lead in protecting the lives of millions of pre-born American citizens from the barbaric practice of abortion, whether conceived in their mother’s womb or in a laboratory.”

“I think that most in the prolife community believe that God protected President Trump from an assassination attempt so that he might gain a renewed appreciation for the priceless gift of life. As President of the United States, he has a unique opportunity to express his gratitude to God by extending that same protection to countless unborn human beings. And there is no better way than backing a no-exception Constitutional Human Life Amendment,” Engel noted.

“Whatever else President Trump might accomplish in his second administration,” concluded Engel, “history will always consider it secondary in importance to his public decision to help end, not regulate, the ongoing mass extermination of our nation’s progeny.”

The U.S. Coalition for Life is asking all readers to personally contact their parish priests, pastors, or ministers to obtain their commitment to the “CHURCH BELLS FOR LIFE” project.

Church Bells will commence ringing on the east coast at Noon (EST) on January 22, 2025, setting off a wave for LIFE that will resonate from sea to shining sea.

Please direct all questions to USCL Director Randy Engel at rvte61@comcast.net

Droleskey here again: While we know full well that President Donald John Trump has taken a stand in the past two years that has excoriated “extremists” who want to ban all surgical baby-killing without exception and has said that his incoming administration will do nothing to stop the mailing of the human pesticide, miracles are possible.

Thus, I strongly encourage every traditional Catholic bishop and priest no matter where they fall on the vast expanse of the ecclesiastical divide in this time of apostasy and betrayal to join in the ringing of their church bells for life at noon today, Wednesday, January 22, 2025. This is something that should unite all Catholic clergy as it would be a very powerful message to send to the new administration and to members of Congress that no country can be made great either “again” or for the first time while the shedding of the blood of innocent babies continues under cover of civil law.

Finally, I would ask all those who access this website to pray Our Lady’s Holy Rosary at noon today to pray fervently for restoration of legal protection for all innocent human life without exception from the moment of conception until death.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saints Vincent and Anastasius, pray for us.

Plus Ca Change, Plus C'est la Même Chose, partie deux (The More Things Change, the More They Stay the Same, part two)

[Update on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 11:45 p.m.: As much has happened today, starting with Bitter Biden the Demonic Demagogue’s pardoning of his entire family, and then continuing with the lecture given by United States Senator Amy Klobuchar Bessler (D-Peoples Republic of Minnesota and then with the “opening prayers” delivered by Timothy Michael Dolan, who did not mention the name of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ once, and William Franklin “Son of  the Fuller Brush Man” Graham IV, who did mention Our Lord’s Holy Name, President Donald John Trump’s inaugural address, the “benedictions” given by a Talmudic rabbi, a Baptist preacher, and a presbyter from the Diocese of Brooklyn who put Fred and Mary Trump in Heaven and did not mention Our Lord’s Holy Name in this month of the Holy Name, and everything that followed thereafter, including various executive actions and pardons—although for only one jailed pro-life rescuer so far, I am unable to provide you with a commentary on today’s proceedings now.

[However, I will be at my battle station tomorrow and will try to provide a Catholic perspective on all that was said and done for publication as soon as possible.

[For the moment, though, suffice it to say the Pelagian lie of human self-redemption still reigns supreme (“Americans can do whatever they put their minds to doing,” etc.) and that no country can be made great, either again or for the first time, without a due submission to Christ the King and His true Church in all that pertains to the good of souls.

[A remarkable day?

[To be sure. Of course.

[Glad to be rid of Biden and Harris? Absolutely.

[Was it “business as usual” with diplomatic niceties today? No, and that was a good thing, naturally speaking.

[Still and all then, men need to belong to the true Faith and seek to cooperate with Our Lady’s graces to persist in a state of Sanctifying Grace, which is the necessary precondition for their nations to have a just order within their borders and a genuine peace with other nations.

[It is still Christ or Chaos, and I will never tire of reminding the readers of this site about this simple truth.

[Pray for conversion of the new president and his vice president. Pray for the conversion of the United States of America and entrust everything we do to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary as we pray as many Rosaries each day as our state-in-life permits.

[Viva Cristo Rey!]

The computer on which these articles are written is making an awfully strange sound now.

Thus, this introduction must be brief enough to inform you that this is the long-delayed commentary on the continued harm being caused by the Wuhan Virus poisoned jabs developed under the warped Operation Warp Speed continues to be covered up and that in spite of this harm--or perhaps because of it--that William Henry Gates III is looking foward to another such operation to develop a "vaccine" for the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) with the "blessing," he claims of the incoming President of the United States of America, Donald John Trump, who still believes that the "warp speed" jabs saved millions of lives.

Pray your Rosaries.

There is no salvation to the left or to the right.

Trust in Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Chrsit and rely upon the maternal intecession and protection of His Most Blessed Mother.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saints Marius, Martha, Audifax and Abucham, pray for us.

Sant Canute, King of Denmark, pray for us.

Bitter Biden the Demonic Demagogue Goes Mumbling and Stumbling Into the Distance

Given the fact, though, that Bitter Biden the Demonic Demagogue gave his farewell address on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, the Feast of Saint Paul the First Hermit and the Commemoration (in parts of the United States of America) of Our Lady of Prompt Succour, I have decided to devote this original commentary to reviewing just two of the many hypocritical passages in the outgoing naturalist’s mumbled address.

There are also reflections on the Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter in Rome and of Saints Prisca and of the saints that follow on January 19 and 20 found in the appendices after the text of this commentary.

Finally, the Chair of Unity Octave begins today and runs through Saturday, January 25, 2025, the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle. Here is a link to the official Prayers for the Chair of Unity Octave as prepared by Friars Press, Lafayette, Louisiana.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saints Peter and Paul, pray for us.

Saint Prisca, pray for us.
