[Thursday, November 5, 2020, Update at Midnight. It was not possible to complete the commentary about the election, whose results are being manufactured and manipulated as this is written. Suffice it to say for the moment, that the election, though as close as it was in 2016, is being stolen by the same cadre of elitists who cooked up the "Russian collusion" narrative. It's all pretty brazen. Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley had the good sense to manufacture votes for John Fitzgerald Kennedy sixty years ago from dead voters out of sight of public view as Lyndon Baines Johnson did the same in Texas. Vice President Richard Milhous Nixon was robbed then and it is President Donald John Trump's turn to be robbed now. Then again, the Judeo-Masonic farce of elections is based upon the sovereignty of the "people" and not Christ the King, paving the way wide open what Pope Pius XI described as follows in Ubi Arcano Dei Consilio, December 23, 1922:
To these evils we must add the contests between political parties, many of which struggles do not originate in a real difference of opinion concerning the public good or in a laudable and disinterested search for what would best promote the common welfare, but in the desire for power and for the protection of some private interest which inevitably result in injury to the citizens as a whole. From this course there often arise robberies of what belongs rightly to the people, and even conspiracies against and attacks on the supreme authority of the state, as well as on its representatives. These political struggles also beget threats of popular action and, at times, eventuate in open rebellion and other disorders which are all the more deplorable and harmful since they come from a public to whom it has been given, in our modern democratic states, to participate in very large measure in public life and in the affairs of government. Now, these different forms of government are not of themselves contrary to the principles of the Catholic Faith, which can easily be reconciled with any reasonable and just system of government. Such governments, however, are the most exposed to the danger of being overthrown by one faction or another. (Pope Pius XI, Ubi Arcano Dei Consilio, December 23, 1922.)
[To overlook—or to be entirely ignorant—of First and Last Things is to make oneself a prisoner of the conflicts of the moment without understanding that all human problems, bar none, are the result of Original Sin and our own Actual Sins, and that the only way to ameliorate these problems for men to rely upon the teaching authority of Holy Mother Church by cooperating with Sanctifying and Actual Graces. Those who think that there can be some other way to accomplish social order and/or to retard various social evils are not thinking very clearly.]
[Tuesday, November 3, 2020, Update at 11:15 p.m.: As the "flipping" of Arizon by the decrepit Catholic apostate and his rabidly anti-Catholic and fire-breathing pro-baby-killing running mate pretty tells the "tale of the tape," shall we say, I, for one, am shutting down my computer as President Donald John Trump's path to victory at this point, especially when one considers all the "mail-in" votes that are waiting to be manufactured in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan, which Trump must win to defeat the basement dweller from Delaware, is exceedingly narrow. Although I am already working on a commentary that has anticipated the results, I will resume work on it tomorrow, Wednesday, afternoon for posting whenever it is done. An election stalemate, though, is still possible, but Biden only needs thirty-three more electoral votes to the president's need for sixty more.
[In the meantime, just remember that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is still the King of men and their nations even if they do not realize that this is so. Our King has known from all eternity that we would be living in the midst of the circumstances in which we find ourselves, and it thus good to remember that the only "election" that really matters is that which took in the Baptismal font when we were incorporated into the Mystical Body of Christ that is Holy Mother Church and whose results will be made known to us upon the moment of our Particular Judgment. May we, aided by Our Lady's graces and her powerful motherly intecession and protection, hear her Divine Son, Our King, utter these words to us: "Well done, good and faithful servant, because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." (Matthew 25: 21.)

As we intend to visit some cemeteries today, the Commemoration of All Souls, I decided to stay up and complete this commentary in time for reading for anyone who desires to tear themselves away from what is probably wall-to-wall pre-election coverage replete with naturalist babbling that goes on ad infinitum, ad nauseam. We do not have television and I do not listen to “talk radio” when driving as I consider our automobile to be a sort of mobile hermitage wherein I can pray my prayers for the living and deceased.
There will be another commentary in a few days.
There have been several new (and republished) commentaries in the past week. Please scroll below for those.

Second, the Donations page has been updated for the first time in forty-three months as there is a need for non-tax-deductible financial gifts of any amount.
Third, the Articles Archive page has been updated for the first time since March of 2017.
Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.
