As our 2008 Chrysler Town and Country minivan finally yielded to a problem that is the subject of an active recall notice (the ignition key got stuck in the "accessory" position, a defect that can occur even as the car is being driven) that many dealers make one excuse after another to avoid repairing, my available time today was spent on a totally unexpected emergency. This means that all I have to offer you now is another late-night republished reflection on the life of a saint whose feast day is almost over. My commentary on the mass shooting at the hands of a Mohammedan in a place of iniquity needs to be completed with care, and thus it is that I will not rush its completion this evening. All I can do is to apologize as there is little I can do when a problem such as the one with the minivan occurs within the Providence of God. Thank you for your understanding.

Tonight's republished article, which was written six years ago now and revised last year, any longer), attempts to draw comparisons between Saint Basil the Great's battles with the Arians and our own battles with the lords of the counterfeit church of conciliarism and their apologists. The authors of disturbance today are not those of us who point out the errors and blasphemes and sacrileges of the conciliar "popes," including Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis, but those who are silent about and/or enable these offenses, a silence that prevails these days among so many "conservative" and "traditionally-minded" priests and presbyters in the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

Spotty internet coverage and a planned excursion to permit our daughter to participate in an agricultural exhibition have made it impossible to get online much in recent days, delaying even the repubilication of my brief reflection on the life and the work of our dear Saint Anthony, the hammer of heretics. Although I would have liked to hae completed a commentary on a Mohammedan man's terrorist shooting in Orlando, Florida, at a facility that catered to those steeped in the sin of Sodom by now, I need more time than that which is available to be now to do so. It is my plan to have the commentary ready for publication by Wednesday, June 15, 2016.

Speakig of Mohammedans, we should remember that Saint Anthony desired to die a martyr's death in an effort to convert Mohammedans following his transfer from the Order of Saint Augustine to the Order of Friars Minor. It was not God's Holy Will for Saint Anthony to die a martyr's death as he became ill upon arriving in Morocco and was then led as a result of shipwreck away from his native Portugal to Sicily, and from there to Italy, where his fame as a preacher and miracle worker began.

Saint Anthony lived for only thirty-six years, teaching us that it is not the length of the years that matter. No, what matters to God is how we use the time given to us this very day, which could be our own last day on the face of this earth before our Particular Judgment, to know, love, and serve Him as He has revealed Himself to us exclusively through the Catholic Church. God is merciful to those of us who have sinned much by giving us length of years so that we might use our time well to make much reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary for our sins. Saint Anthony's work on earth was done when he was just thirty-six years old, whereupon his work for us in Heaven commenced.

Dear, dear Saint Anthony, help us to find our way to Heaven, especially by being as devoted to the Most Blessed Sacrament and to the Mother of God as you were here on earth.

As a good deal of my day yesterday was stuck in the "sudsy-dudsy" given the fact that we remain without a working dryer, my commentary on the insanity concerning Harambe, the lowland gorilla who met his just deserts after a little boy fell into his exhibit area, has been delayed another day.

For the moment, however, I offer a brief reflection on the missionary work of Saint Boniface, the Apostle to Germany, who stands as a rebuke to the conciliar "popes" and their embrace of false religions.

The tender mercies of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus are an inexhaustible treasure that our own hearts, stained by so many sins and our own disordered self-love and lack of meekness and humility, can fathom only faintly.

The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, that perfect fountain of unmatched love for us fallen creatures, was formed out of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. There is a perfect communion of love that exists for all eternity between these two Hearts, the One beating within the Body of the God-Man and the other beating within the body of His Most Blessed Mother.

We live in the midst of evil times. Yet it is that we are only at the beginning stages of the absolute descent into madness that must occur when men and their nations do not know the tender mercies of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Modernity “liberated” itself from the sweet yoke of the Cross of the Divine Redeemer in a convulsive manner.
