Passiontide, 2016

One of the recurring themes in my writing is the obligation each of us has as a Catholic to forgive others as we have been forgiven so freely and so readily by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ acting through an alter Christus in the Sacred Tribunal Penance. There is nothing that anyone can do to us, say about us or cause us to suffer, whether emotionally or physically, that is the equal of what one of our least Venial Sins caused the God-Man to suffer in His Sacred Humanity during His Passion and Death as the Fourth through Seven Swords of Sorrow pierced the Immaculate Heart of His Most Blessed Mother. If He forgives us recidivist sinners, steeped in the spiritual mediocrity of lukewarmness, so readily and so frequently, who are we to hesitate for a moment to forgive others anything and everything, whether real or imagined or exaggerated, that they have have said about us or done to us?

Our Lord entered His Passion so as to redeem us and thus to make it possible for us to know His forgiveness, first in the Baptismal font and then in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance (and, for our Venial Sins, every time a priest administers Absolution following the recitation of the Confiteor in the offering of Holy Mass). We must make good use of this Passiontide to be more forgiving as we seek out the mercy of the Divine Redeemer through the ministrations of a true priest acting in persona Christi in the confesional.

As a sinner who has been forgiven much in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance, I have no energy at all (Deo gratias!) for nursing petty grudges and stewing in my juices about the judgments of others. Our sins imposed an unjust judgment on God in the very Flesh. It is good for us to suffer humiliation and rejection and calumny and scorn and derision. Very good for us. The more we suffer with love and gratitude is the more that we can unite ourselves to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. And even if we are the victims of real injustices and calumnies, so what? So what? Everything gets revealed on the Last Day at the General Judgment of the Living and the Dead. Each of the just will be reconciled one to the other at that time. That happy reconciliation then can only take place, however, if we forgive others from our hearts in the here and now of this passing, mortal vale of tears!

Let’s make this the best Passiontide of our lives, grateful to Almighty God that He has brought us to the beginning of yet another Passiontide, uncertain though we may be as to we will live to see Easter Sunday in this passing, mortal vale of tears just thirteen days from now on Sunday, March 27, 2016.

There will be a new entry on this site tomorrow. It was simply impossible after the emergency room visit late Saturday evening that stretched into early yesterday morning to complete my next article. Suffice it for the moment to note that it is interesting to see all of the understandable anger about political and corporate elites that many of those supporting the presidential candidacy of Donald J. Trump are expressing, an anger on the natural level about problems that are the direct result of the overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King. How sad it is that very few people are in the lest bit upset about the overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King, perhaps even fewer yet who are in the least bit upset about the heresies, apostasies, blasphemies, sacrileges, and various and sundry pastoral celebrations of paganism and still by the conciliar "popes" and their "bishops" in the past fifty-seven years, four and one-half months.

A new Donations page was created yesterday afternoon. Please do respond if your means permit you to do so. Thank you.

Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

Revised: Advice to Shepherds, Advice to Us All

Today is the Feast of Pope Saint Gregory the Great and the Commemoration of Saturday in the Fourth Week of Lent.

A slightly revised version of a reflection on Pope Saint Gregory the Great that was written six years ago is offered to the readership today. May we pray to the illustrious Pope Saint Gregory the Great for the restoration of a true pope on the Throne of Saint Peter.

The hour is too late for me to write a protracted commentary on the cancellation of the rally for Donald Trump that was to be held at the campus of University of Illinois-Chicago in Chicago, Illinois.

Suffice it for the moment, however, to note that we are witnessing what must happen in a world awash with error and steeped in the sin and its celebration. Error must lead to division and conflict, which will erupt into open violence over the course of time.

We are simply getting a “sneak preview” of what the world is going to look like in a post-Obama presidency regardless of who succeeds him on January 20, 2017. Anything not to the liking of “community organizers” will be deemed as “racist” or “bigoted” or “hateful.” Groups that the financial backing of billionaire agitators such as George Soros as others will make sure that any and all opposition to what is deemed to be “good” by those steeped in error and evil is delegitimized while tactics of rank intimidation are employed to shut down all such opposition once and for all.

Welcome to the brave new world. Welcome to what must happen when men and their nations do not yoke themselves to the standard of Christ the King’s Holy Cross, which is the only true standard of human liberty, as It must be held high by Holy Mother Church.

We are eyewitnesses to a reversion of the world to the conditions that existed during the first centuries of Holy Mother Church when eleven million Catholics were martyred at the commands of various Roman emperors and their minions. There are some differences between the situation of the Church in her infancy and now as she is in her mystical burial, the chief of which is the fact that what appears to be the Catholic Church (but is in fact her counterfeit ape) is in the control of agents of One World Governance, naturalists who use all manner of intimidation to silence believing Catholics from speaking out in opposition to the embrace of sin in the name of “mercy” and error in the name of “encounter.”

Let us pray to Pope Saint Gregory the Great for an end to the papal vacancy and that a true pope will indeed fulfill Our Lady’s Fatima Message for the collegial consecration to her Immaculate Heart, thereby ceasing the spread of the errors of Russia that are metastasizing open before our very eyes right here in the “free” United States of America.

Remember this and remember well: you cannot fight naturalism and its attendant evils with any kind of naturalism. You can fight naturalism and its attendant evils only with Catholicism, which is the one and only true foundation of order within the souls of men and thus in their nations. Accept and believe in no substitutes. There are no shortcuts. It really is Christ or Chaos in the world. Behold the chaos that reigns at present in the absence of Our Divine King as the ruler of men and their nations.

Viva Cristo Rey!

Viva La Virgen de Guadalupe!

Pope Saint Gregory the Great, pray for us.

Still Selling The Rope After All These Years, part two

Part one of this commentary was published about a month ago. Intervening events have delayed its publication.

The concluding part of “Still Selling the Rope After All These Years” focuses on Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s desire to visit Red China, the price of which will be to complete Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI’s sellout of the Catholics in Red China who have suffered in the underground for the attempts to be faithful to what have thought to be true popes.

Now, as the need is urgent, I will spend a bit of time later today creating a “Donations” page, wanting also at this juncture to express publicly my gratitude to the five people who have responded thus far to the brief note that appeared a few days ago.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Women Priests Are No Longer Just the Stuff of Fantasies

As noted in the text of today’s commentary, “women priests” in the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism are just a matter of time. It is “when,” not “if.”

As our wireless internet connection has been spotty last night and early this morning, suffice it to say that this commentary deals with two news items, one from January and the other from this month that indicate “women priests” in the counterfeit church of conciliarism are no longer the stuff of fantasies. It is just a matter of when, not if.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Joseph, pray for us.

Saint Frances of Rome, pray for us.

Republished: Understood by God Alone

This article in honor of Saint John of God, whose feast is celebrated today, was written six years ago now. A lot of hard work went into its completion. I believe it to be one a piece that will give great consolation to those who have not as of yet read it.

Saint John of God was little understood during his life. It was the case that even his longtime spiritual director, Saint John of Avila, who knew him fairly well, did not understand his decisions. Saint John of God suffered from all manner of slanders and even beatings in his life. He suffered slanders even up to the point of his own death. It was enough for him to be understood by God. It should be enough for us as well, especially during this time of apostasy and betrayal when so many of us are misunderstood and castigated by relatives and friends and acquaintances as being "outside of the Church" for our refusal to make any concessions to conciliarism or its false shepherds. We should be grateful that we are as misunderstood and hated and calumniated as was Saint John of God!

Although the entirety of yesterday, noting the exceptions caused by a few phone calls, was spent trying to complete the next original article, it is now well past midnight on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, and the need to get a bit of rest so as not to worsen the phlebitis from which I am suffering at the moment requires me to continue work on it later today. The article, which covers some developments in the fantasy world of conciliarism, is turning out to be very long. I hope that it makes a contribution to the readres of this site.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint John of God, pray for us.

Revised: Angelic Pillar and Champion of Catholic Truth

This revised article, which is a wholly inadequate reflection on the life and the work of Saint Thomas Aquinas, was about to be published around 1:00 a.m. this morning when the software platform, Drupal, on which this site has existed for the past eight months now decided to kick me out of the system. Many of the revisions had to be re-done this morning.

Included in this reflection is the late Father Peter Gallwey's description of selective Scripture citation and individual interpretation that applies perfectly to the conciliar revolutionaries, including Jorge Mario Bergoglio. I think that most readers of this site will agree.

Yes, there's much going on in the world and in the world of conciliarism, and some of it will be the subject of the next commentary to appear on this site, which is about fifty percent of its way to completion.

Alas, a wonderful Lenten penance in the form of phlebitis has manifested itself in my right leg, which means that it is more imprudent than it has been recently to endeavor to work into the overnight hours. This cross has been fashioned for me from all eternity by the loving hand of God, and it is accepted with joy and gratitude. My sins deserve far, far worse than the burning pain of phlebitis, but I am grateful for the opportunity to seek to make even partial reparation for my sins as the consecrated slave of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Deo gratias!

While I am taking a number of homeopathic supplements to deal with the problem (in addition to aspirin), an ultrasound test will have to be done to determine the severity of the condition. This means that I must do something that I have avoided doing on this site since it underwent a revamping in July of 2014: create a "donations" page. This is a time, most unfortunately, when such a page is necessary to create. In the meantime, of course, there are prompts to make a non-tax-deductible financial gift that can be found on this home page and at the end of every article. We are in need of your help at this time. Thank you.

A blessed Feast of Saint Thomas Aquinas to you all on this Monday in the Fourth Week of Lent.

Too Bad for the Babies, Too Bad for Christ the King, Good News for Barabbas

As I have written about the ongoing farce of naturalism a lot in the past two months or so, this article will be the last one of its nature to appear for a while as I see no point whatsoever in trying to hammer home points that have been made repeatedly on this site. This is a commentary that will make very few readers of this site in the least bit happy.

I will set about completely two other articles that have been delayed before attempting to put my book defending the honor of Our Lady from Bergoglio’s blasphemies against her into a print-on-demand format, another project that has been delayed for far too long now.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Casimir, pray for us.

Pope Saint Lucius I, pray for us.

Textbook Antichrist

This article was posted originally at 1:15 a.m. this morning, although much of its text disappeared during the drafting process. There is a reason for this problem

Although the supposedly “top the line” virus detection software should provide my low-end notebook computer with protection from “infections,” my Firefox program keeps shutting down every thirty minutes or so even when I am not connected to the internet. That wonderful little “blue wheel” that indicates a malfunctioning program comes on without going away, meaning that it is time to restart the computer. This happened numerous times last evening and even before I tried to publish the article, which is reasonably short. I have tried to reconstruct a few of the missing passages.

All I can do at the present time is to work under the limitations of the computer’s impaired functionality until enough non-tax-deductible financial gifts are received to make possible its repair or, barring that, a new computer. It seems as though these notebook computers last for about eighteen to twenty months. The one I am using at this time, a Hewlett-Packard notebook computer with a Windows 7 operating system came with built-in penances such as a cursor that moves on its own, thus deleting text and closing programs without warning, and the tendency to enlarge or decrease the size of a page for no apparent reason.

My late father, Dr. Albert Henry Martin Droleskey, used to say, “You get what you pay for.” Quite true. When resources are limited, of course, what one can afford to purchase becomes far more expensive over time. Such is the case with this computer.

This article deals with Jorge Mario Bergoglio using the “hypocrite” slogan once again to belittle those who believes that God uses disasters and tragedies to punish sinners. In Bergoglio’s warped mind, it is the “hypocrites” who warn unrepentant sinners to amend their lives are the ones who get punished, not those steeped in lives of unrepentant sin.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Jorge's Wall of Unbelief

Jorge has written a book for children, which I will not purchase.

One excerpt about this insidious little pest’s hatred for the Immemorial Mass of Tradition, though, has given rise to this relatively brief commentary.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Jorge's Most Outrageous Interview to Date, part three

This is the concluding part of my series on the interview that the Argentine Apostate gave while flying back from Mexico to Rome ten days ago.

As enough time has been spent on Jorge’s most outrageous interview, the next article will turn again to the farce of naturalism that is occupying the attention of many Americans during Lent. “Still Selling the Rope After All These Years, part two,” will be completed thereafter.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.
