Republished: Saint John Bosco Had Zeal for Souls Until The Moment He Died

Today is the Feast of the great Saint John Bosco, to whom we are very devoted. This is a revised reflection on an extraordinary priest who had a zeal for the salvation of souls in his youth, a zeal that would last until he died on this date in 1888, one hundred twenty-eight years ago.

Saint John Bosco stands a rebuke to everything that manner in which the conciliar revolutionaries refuse to seek converts to what they think is the Catholic Church and the manner in which they reaffirm unrepentant sinners in lives that could lead them to Hell for all eternity if they do not go to Confession and amend their lives. This brief reflection, written about four or five years ago, I believe, is an effort to capture the spirit of this magnificent teacher of the young, mystic and zealous apostle of souls.

The Names Change, The Apostasy Stays The Same

The conciliar apostates have now concluded what they call the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, which is not the same thing as the Chair of Unity Octave.

This commentary discusses the differences.

Republished: Saint Francis de Sales: Apostle of Charity and Zealous Foe of Calvinism

Today, Tuesday, January 29, 2019, is the Feast of Saint Francis de Sales.

I am hereby republishing a brief and woefully indequate account of the Apostle of Charity and zealous foe of Calvinism.

Although I worked all day on Sunday and Monday on the next original article, which is already over thirty pages in length, there is still yet more work on it to do before it can be posted. I do hope that, after seeking to raise funds privately to pay for two new rear tires, which are bald (one is flat) even though there are only 24,000 miles on them, after having had to purchase two tires for the front last week, to have the article posted within twenty-four hours of this republished article. Thank you for your patience.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Francis de Sales, pray for us.

Saint Martina, pray for us.

The Season of Septuagesima Is Upon Us Once Again

Today is Septuagesima Sunday and the Commemoration of Saint Peter Nolasco and of the second feast of Saint Agnes on the date that she appeared to her parents a week afer her martyrdom.

Lent begins in but seventeen days.

Easter is exactly nine weeks way.

It is time to start our preparations for Lent, time to start thinking about the penances we are going to undertake starting on Ash Wednesday in order to make reparation for our sins and those of the whole world as we prepare to enter deep into the mysteries of the Paschal Triduum of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's Passion, Death, and Resurrection on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. The purple vestments representing a penitential season of Holy Mother Church make their reappearance today to remind us that we must be deadly serious about the business of making the best Lent of our lives as we do not know whether this Lent will be our last one on the face of this earth--or whether we will even live to see the end of this particular Lent! Let us use this time well as the consecrated slaves of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, praying as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit. Work continues on this site's next original article, which should appear by late this evening, if not sooner. (Another injury to the exact same area of my lower back that was injured six years ago has impeded work in the past few days. Penance is indeed better than ever in 2018.)

Our Lady of Dolors, pray for us.

Saint Peter Nolasco, pray for us.

Saint Agnes, pray for us.

Republished from 2016: Still Selling the Rope After All These Years, part two

I have been writing about the counterfeit church of conciliarism’s slow but steady sellout of the suffering Catholics in Red China who have remained faithful to what they think in all good conscience is the Catholic Church for the past twenty years. At least five or six major articles have appeared on this site since the process of this cowardly sellout to the rump church created by the Chicoms was accelerated by the “restorer of tradition,” Antipope Emeritus Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, on July 30, 2007, and is being completed at an even accelerated rate at this time Jorge the Red Bergoglio and Pietro the Red Parolin.

This sellout is an epic one and is a corollary proof of the fact that the counterfeit church of conciiarism is indeed a counterfeit ape of the Catholic Church.

Pope Pius XI forbade all cooperation with Communists when he issued Divini Redemptoris on March 19, 1937, and that prohibition was reaffirmed by the Holy Office under Pope Pius XII twelve years later at the height at the Cold War. Pope Pius XII himself denounced the so-called  Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association” just four months before he died on October 9, 1958.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio is now telling an underground “bishop,” Peter Zhuang Jianjian (whose name is not to be found at Catholic Hierarchy as his See of Shantou, China, is listed as “vacant”), who has seen  many of whose brothers imprisoned, tortured and murdered, that he must resign from his see to make way for the “bishop” appointed by the Chicoms:

CHINA, January 24, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – In what appears to be a capitulation to China’s communist regime, the Vatican has allegedly asked legitimate bishops to step down from their post in order to make way for the installation of new, illegitimate bishops, hand-picked by the government.

The Vatican has asked Bishop Peter Zhuang Jianjian to retire in order to allow a state-sanctioned and excommunicated bishop to take his place while “another Vatican-appointed bishop was asked to downgrade himself as the assistant of an illicit bishop,” according to a report in AsiaNews.

Bishop Zhuang was secretly ordained with Vatican approval in 2006.  The Chinese government wants to replace Zhuang with excommunicated Bishop Huang Bingzhang, who is a member of the National People’s Congress.  Huang was previously excommunicated because he was ordained without Vatican approval.

“A letter dated 26 October demanded the 88-year-old bishop to resign to give way to the excommunicated bishop, whom the Holy See is going to recognize,” the AsiaNews report continued.  “Bishop Zhuang at that time refused to obey and rather ‘carry His Cross’ for being disobedience [sic].”

The news comes six months after Cardinal Joseph Zen, the first Cardinal from China and a key adviser to Pope Benedict XVI regarding China-Vatican relations, denounced a Vatican agreement with the Chinese atheistic Communist government. The Cardinal indirectly accused Pope Francis of backing a “fake” church in China.

But the whole thing is fake. They [the Vatican] are giving decisive power to the government … how can the initiative of choosing bishops be given to an atheistic government? Incredible. Incredible,” he said at that time.

Regarding the surprising demands of the Vatican as it acquiesces to the communist Chinese government, one underground priest told AsiaNews, “We of course feel hard to accept but do we have the rights to oppose the Vatican?” He added that if things actually go this way, “I may consider to quit and leave my priesthood.” (Conciliar Vatican Asks Undergound "Bishop" to Step Down In Favor of Chicom "Bishop".)

As I just received notification of this a short time before Midnight this morning after having been out of the house most of the day running errands for the family, I do not have the time or the physical strength to write a new article.

However, I am hereby highlight an article from 2016, which is being republished today, the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle and the Commemoration of Saint Peter, and also want to bring to your attention a long commentary from several years ago: Red China: Still A Workshop For The New Ecclesiology. Other useful articles dealing with Bergoglio's sympathy for Marxism-Leninist and for Communist regimes include " and .

Finally, permit me to provide the following link, which is to my reflection on today’s feast day: Saint Paul the Apostle: Converted by Our Blessed Lord Himself, which serves as a counterpoint to Kurt Koch’s recent exhortation for “Christians” to “convert” to become ecumenaniacs. A specific article on this heretical exhortation will be written on Friday after brief attention is given late today to Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s latest interview.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Paul the Apostle, pray for us.

Saint Peter, pray for us.

Forty-Five Years of Endless Compromise and Indifference

Today’s article has been adapated and revised to place yesterday's forty-fifth anniversary of the decisions of the Supreme Court in the cases of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, January 22, 1973, in an historical context.

This commentary contains an excerpt from an allocution, which was included also in yesterday's commentary, given by Pope Pius XII that reminded Catholics they are never to support a single, solitary exception to the inviolability of innocent human life. Within the allocution is a moving story about a mother who sacrificed her own life in 1905 rather than to kill the child in her womb. The mother’s prayers from eternity won the daughter to whom she gave life shortly before she, the mother, died to the religious life. This is the sort of sacrifice that is foreign to the mind of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, and it unknown to almost all "pro-life" naturalists, including President Donald John Trump, whose Mexico City Policy last year contained "exceptions" that both offensive to truth and actually needless from a medical standpoint.

We pray in reparation today for the ongoing chemical and surgical slaughter of the preborn in the United States of America and around the world. We pray for the restoration of the Social Reign of Christ the King and of Our Lady, Immaculate Queen, as the fruit of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Several other articles are in the proces of being written. "Stay tuned."

Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us.

Saint Raymond of Pennafort, pray for us.

Saint Emmerentiana, pray for us.

Keeping Baby-Killing "Safe and Legal" for the Survival of Congressional Republicans

Although there is much more to say about the lawless men of the counterfeit church of conciliarism, this commentary deals with the fraudulent nature of the so-called “National Right to Life Committee,” which, of course, makes believes that innocent preborn babies may be killed intentionally to “save” the life of a mother.

A slightly revised version of my annual commentary on the anniversary of the dreadful decisions of the Supreme Court of the United States of America in the cases of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton forty-five years ago this very will be published by the middle of this afternoon.

Pray for the conversion of the United States of America.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saints Vincent and Anastasius, pray for us.

Lawless Men At Large In An Illegal Church, part three

Although not the principal subject of this commentary, I do think that it is appropriate to spend just a bit of time following up on what appeared to have been a “spontaneous” “papal” initiative to marry a couple who had been living in sin for the last eight years, if not longer. As has been the case so many times in the past, the “spontaneity” of Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s initiative may not have been “spontaneous” after all:

Lawless Men At Large In An Illegal Church, part two

The intended “star” of this commentary was none other than the late Bernard “Cardinal” Law. However, as often happens these days, the Argentine Apostate, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who is Peru (one shudders to think what he will make of the work of Saint Rose of Lima, T.O.P, Saint Francis of Solano, Saint Turibius and Blessed Martin de Porres), has stolen the attention from the late, disgraced former conciliar “archbishop” of Boston.
