Voting In Favor Of The Druids

Saint Patrick rescued Ireland from the superstitious and diabolical practices of the Druids. Ireland, the land of saints, has survived the ravages of the Protestant Revolution and its subsequent imprisonment by the apostate English. The ultimate corruption of Catholicism on the Emerald Isle, however, had to come from apostate Catholics themselves as the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo service and the apostasies and blasphemies of conciliarism helped to push Irish Catholics into a headlong embrace of the Modernity that they had resisted for so long. This has brought Ireland to the point of being one of the last member states of the socialist, anti-national sovereignty entity known as the European Union to approve the so-called "Treaty of Lisbon," which was concluded on December 13, 2007, that is designed to strengthen the Union as a prototype of global governance.
Voters in Ireland rejected ratification of the Treaty of Lisbon in a referendum, submitted to them as the Twenty-eighth Amendment to the Constitution of the Republic of Ireland, held on June 12, 2008, by a vote of 862,415 (53.4%) to 752,541 (46.6%). This outcome did not please the statists and globalists who run the European Union who were looking forward to exercising the increased powers that will accrue to the governmental administration of the nameless, faceless, unelected collectivists who staff the Union's bureaucracies in various parts of Europe, especially in the Union's headquarters in Strasbourg, France.
Indeed, as is the case with the naturalists of the false opposite of the "left" right here in the United States of America, leftists in Europe, which is, after all, the birthplace of the Protestant and Judeo-Masonic revolutions against the Social Reign of Christ the King, mouth slogans about "democracy." In actual point of fact, however, naturalists of the false opposite of the "left" are only "democratic" when voters dare to disagree with their "received wisdom." Just as many naturalists of the leftist variety in the United States of America must seek to disparage any and all criticism of President Barack Hussein Obama as originating in some variant of racism, whether overt or subconscious (see

Ever Anxious To Give Us His Malaise), so must the European leftists promoting the European Union as the prototype of world governance attempt to dismiss opposition to their collectivist schemes as illegitimate. Some have spoken publicly of seeking a way to shut down websites opposed to the Irish ratification of the Treaty of Lisbon:
BRUSSELS, September 5, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The European Union has issued a document recommending that some means be found to regulate and identify bloggers. The report by the Committee on Culture and Education "suggests clarifying the status, legal or otherwise" of weblogs. But bloggers have in response issued a warning that the EU's desire to "clarify the status" of bloggers is a code for finding a means of government control of expression on the internet and keeping a bureaucratic eye on who is doing the blogging.
British political blogger Iain Dale, who writes under the masthead "Iain Dale's Diary", linked to the report that complains that the identity and status of blog "authors and publishers, including their legal status, is neither determined nor made clear to the readers of the weblogs, causing uncertainties regarding impartiality, reliability, source protection, applicability of ethical codes and the assignment of liability in the event of lawsuits."
While the Committee said it only "encourages" the "voluntary labelling" of blogs to identify the authors, Dale wrote that the bureaucrats of the EU do not, to say the least, enjoy the complete trust of Europe's blogging community. Of particular interest to the EU, they warn, are those bloggers who have been successful at revealing the anti-democratic machinations of the EU itself.
Bloggers have defended the complete freedom of the bloggosphere that allows anyone with a computer to say whatever he wants about any subject of interest. Blogs, they contend, are the last bastion of completely free speech, unencumbered by Europe's sticky and stultifying mesh of bureaucratic regulations. They are also self-regulating. A blogger who is boring or whose facts are off, is quickly corrected by legions of commenters and other bloggers, a scrutiny not felt by mainstream media. The popularity of blogging, they say, is a direct result of this unregulated environment.
"They don't seem to like blogs or even understand the concept of blogging, do they?" Dale wrote about EU bureaucrats. "We all know that 'voluntary' soon becomes 'compulsory'. My label is the title of my blog. That is quite sufficient, and I don't need some faceless Eurocrat to tell me otherwise."
Daniel Hannan, a blogger and writer for the Daily Telegraph, warned that the EU has been trying to get regulatory control over bloggers for some time. "Eurocrats instinctively dislike spontaneous activity. To them, 'unregulated' is almost synonymous with 'illegal'. The bureaucratic mindset demands uniformity, licensing, order."
"Eurocrats are especially upset," he continued, "because many bloggers, being of an anarchic disposition, are anti-Brussels. In the French, Dutch and Irish referendums, the MSM were uniformly pro-treaty, whereas internet activity was overwhelmingly sceptical."
When Hannan first saw, in June, a report on the efforts of the EU to "clarify the status" of blogs, he dismissed it. Hannan says, "Not even the European Parliament, I thought, would actually try to censor the internet. I was wrong."
In June, the principal drafter of the Committee's report, Estonian Socialist Marianne Mikko, said that bloggers "are in position...to considerably pollute cyberspace." She said that there is a growing amount of "misinformation and malicious intent in cyberspace" and that it is in the public's interest to have "a quality mark, a disclosure of who is really writing and why."
European bloggers make up the vanguard of public discussion on pressing political issues, many of which are ignored or politely glossed over in more traditional media. Of particular note are the large number of "Eurosceptic" 'blogs that investigate and question, and frequently expose to public view, the inner machinations of the European Union.
Foremost among these is the blog, EU Referendum, one of the leading engines of the popular movement to force governments to grant citizens a plebiscite on the various manifestations of the European Constitution. EU Referendum has short words for attempts of the EU to gain some political control over their fiercest critics.
Marianne Mikko made her comments as the European Parliament debated whether there should be controls on bloggers with "malicious intent" or "hidden agenda." Dr. Helen Szamuely, one of EU Referendum's editors, wrote, "Our agenda is not hidden. We are full of malicious intent towards the European Union and all its many minions. I wonder if they mean us. Surely not."
In a secret report, leaked to the Irish Times this week, the European Commission is blaming the recent stalling of the Lisbon Treaty by the Irish referendum, on the influence of Eurosceptic bloggers. The Daily Telegraph's Bruno Waterfield wrote earlier this week that the Commission's report on the Irish referendum, the "strongest language and darkest fears are reserved for the realm of the internet with its message boards, blogs and independence."
The Commission's report complains of the power of blogs to disrupt their plans for Europe, saying, "Blog activity remains overwhelmingly negative."
"Blogging is also seen as an anti-establishment activity. Few Yes campaigners [in favour of Lisbon] came out with forceful counter arguments or were inspired to do so. Because of the many different sources of No campaigners on the internet, classic rebuttals is [sic] made impossible."
Waterfield comments, "The web, you see, is not yet dominated by the conformist consensus that permeates the traditional media and political establishment. This is why the EU does badly there and also why it does badly in popular votes where the demographic of younger, often working class, voters untouched by old politics is becoming more important." The European Union is, of course, staffed by fascists who desire complete and unquestioning submission to each of their policies and regulations without any dissent whatsoever. They are Communists and other types of socialists. They are feminists. They are perverts and those who support the agenda of perversion. They are radical environmentalists and evolutionists. They are opposed to homeschooling and believe that the state can subvert the Natural Law right of parents to be the principal educators of their children. They are opposed to the legitimate rights of private property. They desire to erode and, over the course of time, to eclipse the national sovereignty of member states. They are in favor of the most monstrous forms of social engineering, including contraception, abortion and euthanasia. They are in favor of large central banks and of a central judiciary that renders decisions based on pure legal positivism without any acknowledgement whatsoever of the fact that jurisprudence in most parts of Europe was shaped for the better part of a millennium by a Catholic understanding of the Natural Law. They are, of course, enemies of Christ the King and of Mary our Immaculate Queen.
A wide variety of groups in Ireland and elsewhere in Europe are attempting to oppose final ratification of the Treaty of Lisbon (see the website of one such group for a variety of naturalistic arguments against the Treaty of Lisbon, Open Europe; a comprehensive listing of arguments against the Treaty of Lisbon can also be found in a download of the Sovereign Independent newspaper). These groups are not being helped by the conciliar "bishops" of Ireland, who are every bit a a bunch of statists as many of their American confreres in the counterfeit church of conciliarism who are eager to find some way to support the nationalization of the American health-care industry represented by ObamaCare. Untrue to both the Catholic Faith and the long struggle for the freedom of Ireland from the United Kingdom, these conciliar "bishops" are willing to surrender Ireland into the hands of the pro-abort Druids, if you will, in the European Union:
DUBLIN, September 22, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Irish Catholic Bishops' Conference has issued a statement supporting the Lisbon Treaty and throwing in their lot with the "European project" for international unification. This project, however, has been blasted by pro-life and pro-democracy leaders as little less than an effort to establish a new totalitarian European superstate, and one that could easily lead to the demise of Ireland's pro-life laws.
Despite continued warnings from pro-life groups in Ireland and in Europe, a statement issued today by the bishops said the Treaty "does not undermine existing legal protections in Ireland for unborn children." The bishops further said, "Any material which misinforms voters is an interference with the exercise of a fundamental right and has no place in church buildings or grounds."
"The Lisbon Treaty is of the greatest importance, not only for us here in Ireland but also for the future shape of the European project."
Leading No campaign group Coir said that a Yes vote on the European Union's Lisbon Treaty, the replacement for the European Constitution that was defeated in 2005, could mean that "the Irish people will lose the right to decide on abortion and a whole range of social issues."
Coir and other pro-life groups have repeatedly warned that under the Lisbon Treaty Ireland and the few other remaining countries in the EU with legal protections for the unborn will be subject to the rulings of the European Court of Justice that could interpret the EU's Charter of Fundamental Rights to uphold a "right to abortion."
Coir spokeswoman Niamh Ui Bhriain said that current legal protections were not at issue, but that the Treaty will give the EU Courts the powers to decide on abortion "and a great many other social issues in the future."
Ui Bhriain said, "A reading of the treaty makes that very clear. A new and legally different EU is created in Articles 1 and 49, we all become citizens of that superstate in Article 9, and Article 6 then gives us, as citizens, a legally binding Charter of Rights. That's what gives the EU Court the right to decide our human rights law - including our laws on issues like abortion and euthanasia - in the future."
This position is held also by European pro-life groups who have pleaded with the Irish public, whose country is the last to still allow a public vote, to defeat the Lisbon treaty in next month's referendum. In a media release earlier this month, the Pro-life Movement of the Czech Republic made exactly the same warning about the powers of the European Court of Justice and the biases of the EU in favour of abortion.
This position is also held by the Society for the Protection of the Unborn Child (SPUC). Pat Buckley, SPUC's representative at the European Parliament and Council of Europe said today that the EU's Committee of Ministers are "being encouraged" to develop a European Convention "to achieve universal access to sexual and reproductive health and rights by 2015." He called it another step in the "creeping agenda" at the EU to establish the notion of abortion as a "universal human right" that would be protected under the Charter of Fundamental Rights.
Buckley rubbished the "guarantees" obtained by the Irish government, saying they "are not binding in EU law, and they don't change one jot of the Treaty of Lisbon. It's the same Treaty that was rejected by the Irish people last year, and virtually the same document as the Constitution for Europe that was rejected by the French and Dutch people in 2005."
Declaration 17 of the Lisbon Treaty says that the EU would have primacy over the laws of member states: "The Conference recalls that, in accordance with well settled case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union, the Treaties and the law adopted by the Union on the basis of the Treaties have primacy over the law of Member States, under the conditions laid down by the said case law."
The No campaign on Lisbon, despite a huge outpouring of public funding in favor of the opposing Yes campaign, is beginning to pick up speed.
A Gael Poll on voting intentions for the Irish referendum suggests there has been a massive surge in support for the "no" campaign, with 59 per cent against the treaty and only 41 per cent prepared to vote "yes." Last year, the Gael Poll predicted a 54-46 percent margin for the No campaign, with the actual result of the vote being 53.4 percent No and 46.6 percent Yes.
The result of the latest Gael poll has gone largely unreported in the Irish or British mainstream media. The EU Referendum website notes that in general the coverage for this second Irish Referendum on the Lisbon treaty has been significantly played down since last year "by a media that is wholly in favour of the EU treaty." EU Referendum also notes that the date of the referendum, a few days before the Conservative party convention in October, "will set the EU issue on fire in the UK" and likely renew demands for a referendum in Britain.
Meanwhile, pro-democracy voices in Europe continue to warn of the danger of a "unified" Europe. In a speech last Sunday in Aix-en Provence, France, Vaclav Klaus, president of the Czech Republic, warned against the rise of a new form of tyranny in Europe. Brussels Journal news and commentary website quoted President Klaus wondering if some former Soviet countries such as his own were not risking falling into "another blind alley of regulated society, of unproductive welfare state, of brave new world of European social democratism and of empty and artificial Europeanism."
He said the path of the Czech Republic toward democracy began with the catchwords "deregulate, liberalize, privatize" but these were "gradually transformed" into "regulate, adjust to all kinds of standards of the most developed and richest countries, listen to the partial interests of the NGOs and follow them, get rid of your sovereignty and put it into the hands of international institutions and organizations."
"Europeism is - for me - an inconsistent, evidently heterogeneous, but in principle neosocialist doctrine, which characterizes the current thinking in Europe. It believes neither in freedom, nor in spontaneous evolution of human society," Klaus said.
Labour MP and former Minister Gisela Stuart blasted the Lisbon Treaty at Open Europe's Dublin meeting last week saying it has serious implications for democracy.
Stuart was a member of the European Convention which drafted the Treaty, and warned that "the nature of democracy is really at stake." She said the Irish second referendum is the last chance and there would be "no more treaties, no more referendums anywhere" on EU integration.
The official position statement of the Irish bishops follows another statement last week by Bishop Noel Treanor, who said that the "guarantees" obtained by the Irish government from EU leaders would safeguard Irish constitutional protections for the right to life. The Irish "bishops" have, of course, much in common with the likes of Roger Mahony (Apostasy Is His Field) and Sean O'Malley (Sean O'Malley: Coward and Hypocrite) and Michael Sheehan (Unfortunate Enough to Be A Baby) and Robert Morlino (More Rationalizations and Distortions), each of whom sees abortion as just "one" issue among many as they praise statists and statist policies as contributing to the common temporal good in the United States of America. The Irish "bishops" also have much in common with John Jenkins, the President of the University of Notre Dame du Lac, who has praised the pro-abort Obama for the "audacious hope" that he is alleged to have brought to the United States of America and the world (see Official Text of Obama's Honorary Doctorate and
No "Common Ground" Between Truth and Error.) The Irish "bishops" also have much in common with Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, who has praised the statist, anti-family United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (see
Kindred Spirit of the New World Order) despite provisions that clearly violate the Natural Law rights of parents. Alas, of course, it is the same Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI who has support the utopian concept of a global form of governance that could, quite miraculously, respect Natural Law and the rights of the sovereignty of nations (see
Give Me Two Bayers, Please and Two More Bayers, Please). The Irish "bishops" are simply doing what comes quite naturally to conciliarists: endorse the plans of "naturalists" to "improve" the world by means of global governance organizations.
That the Irish "bishops" can urge a "yes" vote for the Treaty of Lisbon in the repeat referendum (statists never take "no" for an answer from the voters, seeking to wear them down time and time again) to be held in the Republic of Ireland six day from now, that is, on Friday, October 2, 2009, the Feast of our Holy Guardian Angels, is scandalous on its face. It is even more scandalous in light of the clear evidence anti-family, anti-life agenda of the European Parliament, which is but a mere shadow of the anti-family, anti-life commitment of the nameless, faceless, unelected apparatchiks who staff the various nooks and crannies of the bureaucracies and committees of the European Union:
NEW YORK, NY, September 17, 2009 (C-FAM) - The European Parliament voted 349 to 218 today to condemn Lithuania for its "law on the protection of minors" which prohibits promotion of "homosexual, bisexual or polygamous relations" among children under 18 in the Baltic nation. Conservative critics contend that the measure, crafted in reaction to the domestic legislation of a sovereign member state pertaining to the family, oversteps the Parliament's authority.
The resolution directs the Agency for Fundamental Rights to opine on whether the law contravenes European anti-discrimination standards. Any such opinion would be non-binding, though activists would likely use it to press for greater recognition of rights based on "sexual orientation."
An earlier proposal by the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE), the "liberal" parliamentary faction, would have initiated proceedings to suspend Lithuania pursuant to article 7 of the Treaty on European Union, the 1992 pact that created the European Union (EU). Parliamentarians principally affiliated with the Christian Democratic grouping, the European People's Party (EPP), worked behind the scenes to soften the resolution and remove the Article 7 reference.
While "progressive" parliamentarians lined up to charge Lithuania with promoting "homophobia," several EPP and conservative members spoke in opposition to the measure and in support of the country's sovereign right to pass laws protecting families and children, including Lithuania's first post-Soviet head of state Vytautas Landsbergis and Slovakian parliamentarian Anna Záborksá.
Nevertheless, the EPP remained divided on the measure, with virtually every EPP member from France voting to censure Lithuania. Surprisingly, Malta's delegation, including its two EPP representatives, voted as a bloc against Lithuania.
Lithuania's Parliament, or Seimas, passed the child protection legislation in June. The President vetoed it, in apparent reaction to criticism from Western European politicians and homosexual advocacy organizations. In July, Lithuania's parliament overrode the veto. The law is scheduled to take effect in March 2010.
David Quinn, Director of Ireland's Iona Institute and a family rights advocate, called the resolution "a completely unwarranted intrusion in the domestic affairs of a member state." Critics such as Quinn see the non-discrimination principle, particularly with respect to sexual orientation, being used to trump long-enshrined values such as religious liberty and parental rights. Quinn called anti-discrimination "the skeleton key that opens every room of the house."
Some observers expect the Parliamentary action to have repercussions in Ireland, where the nation will vote in a second referendum on the Lisbon Treaty next month.
While the EU has "guaranteed" that Ireland's constitutional protection of unborn life would be unaffected by a "yes" vote on Lisbon, the European Parliament's action on Lithuania has fueled concerns among Irish euroskeptics that European institutions would seek to override the Republic's domestic laws. Among other changes, the Lisbon Treaty would make the Charter of Fundamental Rights binding upon members. While silent on abortion, critics fear an activist European Court of Justice reading such a right into the charter.
Forty-six parliamentarians abstained on the Lithuanian resolution, including three Irish EPP members. The four Irish ALDE members broke with their party and voted against the resolution, a move insiders see as tactical and intended to forestall criticism in advance of the Lisbon referendum. A true Catholic son of Ireland, Father Denis Fahey of the Holy Ghost Fathers, understood full well the threats to the sovereignty of nations, including his beloved Ireland, the land of saints and scholars (see
Saint Patrick and the "C" Word), warned us over sixty years ago of the coming surrender of national sovereignty and thus a further erosion of the Social Reign of Christ the King in once proudly and thoroughly Catholic countries such as Ireland. He taught us that the efforts to subvert the Social Reign of Christ the King, which respects the legitimate sovereignty of kingdoms and nations, were being directed by the ancient enemies of the Faith in order to create a super-government that would, in essence, ape and thus replace the supranationality of Holy Mother Church. Yes, what statists and globalists desire to make the Catholic Church "obsolete" by creating the true "secular church" from which no one can dissent and from which there is no secular escape from its "dogmatic" pronouncements.
This is, of course, the essence of Judeo-Masonry, a subject that many conciliarists recoil from even considering when they attempt to oppose naturalistic schemes such as the Treaty of Lisbon by using the devil's methods, that is, naturalistic means. It is never possible to retard naturalism with naturalism. Father Fahey pointed this out very clearly:
There is unorganised opposition to the supernatural life of grace in each one of us, owing to the fall. This unorganised opposition of individuals leads to the formation of little anti-supernatural groups here and there, even without the concerted action of vast organised forces. The existence of united anti-supernatural action on the part of organised bodies is so far removed from the mind of the average Catholic that it needs to be stressed particularly and its aims made clear. The Christian framework of society is destined not only to aid us in attaining union with Christ but to serve as a bulwark against the assaults of the forces organised against our supernatural life. These forces are three in number, one being invisible, the other two visible. The invisible host is that of Satan and the other fallen angels, while the visible forces are those of the Jewish nation and Freemasonry. The Jewish nation is not only a visible organisation, but its naturalistic or anti-supernatural character is openly proclaimed by its refusal to accept the supernatural Messias and by its looking forward to a naturalistic messianic era. The Masonic society or group of societies is a visible organisation, but its naturalistic or anti-supernatural character is secret or camouflaged. The naturalism or anti-supernaturalism of its aims, as well as of its ritual and symbolism, is clearly grasped by only relatively few of the initiated. The pantheistic deification of man, which is the consequence of this naturalism, is the supreme secret of Freemasonry. Both of these visible societies, however, make use of subterfuge and secrecy in their modes of action against the supernatural life of the nations of the world. Accordingly, the most vitally real struggle in the world is that waged by those naturalistic or anti-supernatural armies, under the leadership of Satan, against those who accept the supernatural life of grace, participation of the life of the Blessed Trinity, under the leadership of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In the work of elimination of the supernatural life from society, the Jewish nation has been powerfully aided by Freemasonry. Freemasonry is a naturalistic society, that is to say, a society which claims to make men good and true independently of the supernatural life which comes to us through membership of our Lord. Masonry thus, in fact and in deed, puts itself above the Mystical Body of Christ, and its action has powerfully contributed to the elimination of the Catholic tradition, based on the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the advent of the anti-supernatural or naturalistic mentality and outlook.
Masonic propaganda has so blinded the nations, even those that did not revolt against the Mystical Body in the sixteenth century, to the significance of naturalism, that it is difficult to rouse them to the full perception of the real issues at stake. The warnings of the sovereign pontiffs and the Judaeo-Masonic attack on the supernatural life in Spain have succeeded, it is true, in getting them to stir uneasily in their slumbers, but they cannot be said to be as yet awake. The Masonic Declaration of the Rights of Man of 1789 has contributed also to bewilder people with regard to the significance of the Communistic attack on private property. The real meaning of the equality of the French Revolution, the one behind which is all the driving force of Masonry, is that all men are equally God. Accordingly, in a properly constituted state, an absolute social equality should counterbalance natural inequalities. The right of private property as the greatest cause of social inequality must be abolished. We need not be surprised then at the lukewarm opposition to Communism wherever the virus of the French Revolution has penetrated. In this way the poorer members of society, who have had such sad experiences in the so-called Christian countries since the sixteenth century, are easily drawn to listen to Marx’s cajoling words. The proletariat, according to the Jewish siren, is a messianic class destined by its rule to bring about a new era in the world. People are slow to grasp that both the proletariat in general and the Russian proletariat in particular are only means for the messianic dreams of Marx’s own nation. . . .
On the one hand, we have to stand valiantly for the divine personality of Our Lord and for the transcendent claims of His Mystical Body, the Catholic Church, in which He continues to live and into which all must enter in order to be one with Him. The personality of our Lord, true God as well as true man, is not merely the subsistence of a created soul; it is the personality of the second Person of the Most Holy Trinity. The Jews as a nation have always rejected that divine personality and their efforts are directed to combating the influence of the supernatural life which He seeks to diffuse through the Catholic Church. We have to stand, therefore, unequivocally for the rights of Christ the King. Jewish efforts to eliminate the supernatural life of grace and faith in Jesus tend inevitably to drag life down to an infra-human level. We have, therefore, to resist and defeat Jewish efforts to dominate our society and mould it along naturalistic lines. In particular, the creation of money and the regulation of the volume of exchange-medium used by Christian peoples must be taken out of their hands. I have seen a saying of Meyer Amschel Rothschild quoted as follows: “Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation, and I care not who makes its laws.”
On the other hand, our Lord, true man as well as true God is a Jew of the House of David, born of the Virgin Mary, the Lily of Israel. Our Lord’s individuality, that by which as a man He is distinct from other members of the human race and belongs to a certain environment and a certain descent, is Jewish. The Blood that was poured out on the Cross at the hands of the official leaders of His own nation for the restoration of the divine life of the world was Jewish blood. Our Lord’s Sacred Heart is a human heart and He loves His own nation with a special love. We must never forget that or allow ourselves to fall victims to an attitude of hatred for the Jews as a nation. We must always bear in mind that He is seeking to draw them on to that supernatural union with Himself which they reject.
The Jewish nation has gradually become the most strongly organised non-secret visible force working for the elimination of the supernatural outlook in society and for the installation of naturalism. The supernatural outlook insists that we are a race whose highest life, the divine life of grace, by which the Blessed Trinity dwells in our souls, was lost by the fall of Adam, but restored by our Lord Jesus Christ. Naturalism denies the existence of any life higher than natural life and maintains that social relations must be organised on that basis. As members of Christ we are bound to work for the return of society to our loving Saviour, so that social organisation may be permeated with the reality of the supernatural life of grace. Pope Pius XI insists on this in the encyclical on the Kingship of Christ. Let us now take two examples of how our efforts to combat naturalism will bring us into conflict with the Jews in their preparations for the naturalistic Messias. The first example will deal with the political, the second with the economic, organisation of the world.
States and nations are bound to acknowledge the Catholic Church as the one true Church. Pope Pius XI shows that the naturalistic spirit has gradually come to infect society, because “by degrees the religion of Christ was put on the same level as false religions, and placed ignominiously in the same category with them.” Previously Pope Pius VII had written: “By the fact that the freedom of all forms of worship is proclaimed, truth is confused with error, and the holy and immaculate Spouse of Christ, outside of which there can be no salvation, is placed on the same level as heretical sects, and even as Jewish perfidy.” Now, since the French Revolution, states have placed all forms of error on the same level as the Mystical Body of Christ, and Jews have been admitted as full citizens of the once Christian states. By granting full citizenship to members of the Jewish religion, the state, to all intents and purposes, gives free rein to the naturalistic moulding process pursued by the Jewish nation, in view of the elimination of membership of Christ and the inauguration of the new messianic, era. It thus shows itself indifferent in the struggle between the true supernatural Messias, who has come, and the naturalistic messias, to whom the Jews look forward.
In regard to the economic organisation of the world, Pope Pius XI insists that “then only will it be possible to unite all in harmonious striving for the common good, when all sections of society have the intimate conviction that they are all members of a single family and children of the same heavenly Father and further, that they are one body in Christ, and everyone members one of another (Rom. XIII, 5).” To have lasting peace in society we Catholics, then, must strive to bring back the great truth that employers and employed must treat one another as members of Christ. It is, as we have seen, part of what we promise Christ as King, when we make submission to our Heavenly Father along with Christ as Priest at Mass. Now, the aim of the Jewish nation is to substitute for the supernatural Messias in whom we are members of one body, the rule of the natural messias. Accordingly, in virtue of Catholic principles, we must oppose the efforts of the Jews to get control of the economic organisation of society. How can we succeed in getting employers and employed to treat one another as members of Christ, if we allow social organisation to pass into the hands of those who have persistently denied and rejected His divine mission and for whom the supernatural Kingdom of His Mystical Body is simply a fraudulent attempt to turn Israel aside from its destiny.
We have, therefore, to resist and defeat Jewish efforts to dominate social organisms and mould them along naturalistic lines, in opposition to our Lord and His Mystical Body. The guilds of the Middle Ages, which reflected the solidarity of the members of the Mystical Body of Christ in economic organisation, rendered wonderful services to their members in times of sickness and need, thus efficaciously preventing Jewish money lenders from gaining control of families and property. We too in our day must safeguard the poor and needy from being tortured by Jewish money lenders. Our action in this connection however, must not be merely the negative one of combating illegalities and getting laws suitably amended, but the positive one of setting up organisations which will render services similar to those rendered by the guilds. Besides this safeguarding of the poor and needy, there is the more far reaching question of the creation of money and the regulation of the volume of exchange medium used by Christian peoples. That power must not be allowed to fall into, some would say to remain in, Jewish hands, or to fall into the hands of nominal or erstwhile Christians, Masons and others, who are dependent upon, or in alliance with Jews. We must combat Jewish attempts to bring under their domination individual Catholics and Catholic countries, even more vigorously than we must struggle against Freemasonry, because the Jews form a more strongly organised and more cohesive naturalistic force than Freemasonry.
It is not easy to combat Jewish naturalism in public life and at the same time keep oneself free from racial hatred, which is itself but a form of naturalism. Yet it must be done. On March 25th 1928, the Congregation of the Holy Office abolished the association called The Friends of Israel, which in action and language had departed from the mind of the Church and of the Fathers and had adopted a mode of procedure abhorrent to the liturgy, thus falling into naturalism. Nevertheless in that same decree, the Church insists upon the fact that she “habitually prays for the Jewish people which was the custodian of the divine promises down to Jesus Christ, and this, in spite of, nay rather on account of, their subsequent blindness. Actuated by this spirit of charity the Apostolic See has protected this people against unjust treatment and, as it condemns every kind of hatred and jealousy between nations, so in a special manner it condemns hatred of the people once chosen by God, namely, that hatred commonly designated as ‘Anti-Semitism.’”
Particular attention must be called to the phrase once chosen by God. It is the second time that the Holy See uses the phrase in recent years, the other being in the text of the prayer approved of by Pope Pius XI for the consecration of the human race to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Holy See is evidently insisting upon the fact that there is no longer any chosen people or race, except in so far as the Jews, who were the custodians of the divine promises until the time of Jesus Christ, despite their official rejection of the Supernatural Messias, have not ceased to be the members of His own race. Certain nations have at times shown themselves, to some extent at least, dazzled by the belief that they were the chosen people or race, in the natural order. The pagan cult of race is but a modern manifestation of naturalism.
The Jews look upon themselves now as the Chosen People, because they hold that they are the people destined to bring happiness to the world in the messianic era yet to come. Catholic writers would do well not to pander to this naturalism, by speaking of the Jews simply as the Chosen People, for thus they increase the confusion of thought in modern times. The Jews were chosen to be the custodians of the divine promises until the coming of Jesus Christ, of whom they were to be the fount according to the flesh. They have not ceased to be the race in which the “Word was made flesh,” and as such, they are the object of special love on the part of our Lord. But the naturalism by which they rejected Him and continue to hold that the happiness of the world is to come through their messianic aspirations is false and must be everywhere combated.
We have, therefore, a twofold programme set out before us. We must, on the one hand, defend our Lord’s rights and, on the other, seek to tear away the veil from the eyes of those whose blindness hurts Him in a special way. This is the programme set before us in these words of the Encyclical Letter, Quas Primas of Pope Pius XI. “If the faithful generally would understand that it is their duty to fight bravely and continually under the banner of Christ their King, then, fired with apostolic zeal, they would endeavour to win over to our Lord those who are estranged from Him or know Him not, and would valiantly defend His rights.”
Pope Pius X insisted in most appealing fashion upon the need for courage on the part of Catholics in the modem world, in the discourse he pronounced on the 13th December 1908 at the beatification of Joan of Arc. To St. Joan’s mind the coronation and anointing of the King of France were ever present, because that anointing did homage to the universal Kingship of Christ and linked up political power with the government of the Lord Jesus. She was the saint sent to remind the world, at the decline of the Middle Ages, of the formal principle of order in the world, the acknowledgment of the Kingship of Christ. The saintly Pope spoke of the heroism of Blessed Joan, and contrasted it with the timidity of so many Catholics in our day: “In our time more than ever before, the chief strength of the wicked lies in the cowardice and weakness of good men . . . All the strength of Satan’s reign is due to the easy going weakness of Catholics. Oh! if I might ask the Divine Redeemer, as the prophet Zachary did in spirit: What are those wounds in the midst of thy hands? the answer would not be doubtful: With these was I wounded in the house of them that loved me. I was wounded by my friends, who did nothing to defend me, and who, on every occasion, made themselves the accomplices of my adversaries. And this reproach can be levelled at the weak and timid Catholics of all countries.” (Father Denis Fahey, The Mystical Body of Christ in the Modern World, pp.269-272; 274- 277.)
The true popes of the Catholic Church fought naturalism. The "popes" and "bishops" of the counterfeit church of conciliarism have embraced "naturalism" by endorsing international organizations bent on global governance and by endorsing (over and over and over again) the errors of religious liberty and the separation of Church and State. Angelo Roncalli/John XIII "opened the windows" of the conciliar church to the world. Behold the refuse that now comes through those open windows as the "bishops" of once totally Catholic Ireland close their eyes to the truth about the European Union in order to endorse an entity that is as opposed to the restoration of Christendom as they are.
Pope Saint Pius X warned of us these days when he condemned the inter-religious spirit of The Sillon, a spirit that is a true governing force of conciliarism itself:
We fear that worse is to come: the end result of this developing promiscuousness, the beneficiary of this cosmopolitan social action, can only be a Democracy which will be neither Catholic, nor Protestant, nor Jewish. It will be a religion (for Sillonism, so the leaders have said, is a religion) more universal than the Catholic Church, uniting all men become brothers and comrades at last in the "Kingdom of God". - "We do not work for the Church, we work for mankind."
And now, overwhelmed with the deepest sadness, We ask Ourselves, Venerable Brethren, what has become of the Catholicism of the Sillon? Alas! this organization which formerly afforded such promising expectations, this limpid and impetuous stream, has been harnessed in its course by the modern enemies of the Church, and is now no more than a miserable affluent of the great movement of apostasy being organized in every country for the establishment of a One-World Church which shall have neither dogmas, nor hierarchy, neither discipline for the mind, nor curb for the passions, and which, under the pretext of freedom and human dignity, would bring back to the world (if such a Church could overcome) the reign of legalized cunning and force, and the oppression of the weak, and of all those who toil and suffer. (Pope Saint Pius X, Notre Charge Apostolique, August 15, 1910.)

Today is the fourteenth and next-to-last Saturday in this Rosary Crusade as we meditate on the Devotion of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Fourth Glorious Mystery, her Assumption Body and Soul into Heaven.
We must pray Our Lady's Most Holy Rosary as never before. All manner of ominous forces are at work in the world. We must use Our Lady's Most Holy Rosary to protect us from the forces that seek the loss of our immortal souls for all eternity in Hell as we use this weapon that Our Lady gave to Saint Dominic de Guzman, the founder of the Order of Preachers, to convert men and their nations to the Catholic Faith and to seek the restoration of the Church Militant on earth.
As noted a few days ago in Let 'Em!, we must not live in fear. While we must, as have the saints of the past, take prudent measures to resist evil wherever possible (and Irish voters do have an opportunity to do this in six days), we should also recognize the fact that major Chastisements are being visited upon us. Worse ones are likely to follow. None of of this, however, should disturb our peace in the slightest as we know that the final victory belongs to the Immaculate Heart of Mary when her Fatima Message for the collegial consecration of Russia is fulfilled by a true pope and all of the world's true bishops.
Remember, the worst thing that can happen to us is die in state of final impenitence, to lose our souls for all eternity. We must, therefore, trust in the tender mercies of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus as we give ourselves unto this Heart of Hearts through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, being willing to suffer whatever calumnies we must as we reject the naturalism of Modernity and the Modernism of the lords of conciliarism, praying their conversion of all of the enemies of the Faith as we attempt to make reparation for our own sins and those of the whole world as the consecrated slaves of Our Lord through that same Immaculate Heart of Mary.
