Motu Minus Two

by Thomas A. Droleskey

Although there is a report circulating in French "traditionalist" circles that contains alleged "details" of Father Joseph Ratzinger's motu proprio, Summorum Pontificum that "liberates" the modernized version of the Immemorial Mass of Tradition that was promulgated by Angelo Roncalli (John XXIII) in 1962, a specific commentary on this matter will be posted only when the document is released officially.

As the time approaches, however, for the release of the long-awaited motu proprio, which is designed to draw more and more traditionally-minded Catholics into the web of the One World Church, it is very interesting to note that the agenda of conciliarism continues unabated. A little news tidbit contained in the July 4, 2007, dispatch of the Roman version of Izvestia, Zenit, says a whole lot more than it intended to:

Benedict XVI Greets Jewish Athletes

VATICAN CITY, JULY 4, 2007 (Zenit.org).- Benedicto XVI greeted the Jewish athletes gathered in Rome to participate in the European Maccabi Games.

The Pope greeted the young athletes today at the end of the general audience.

The games began today and will continue till July 12. Some 1,000 athletes from Europe, North America, Australia and Israel are participating.

The Holy Father offered "a cordial greeting" to the athletes and organizers, praying that "God covers them with abundant blessings."

Representatives of the athletes then offered the Pope a jersey.

What are the Maccabi Games? Oh, I am so glad that you asked. Here is a description of these games from their own website:

Maccabi World Union

At the 12th World Jewish Congress in Carlsbad (Czechoslovakia) 1921, the secretariat of Jewish sport leaders decided to form one umbrella organization for all Jewish Sports associations, to be named Maccabi World Union.

Its aims were clearly defined: "To foster physical education, belief in Jewish heritage and the Jewish nation, and to work actively for the rebuilding of our own country and for the preservation of our people".

The very name Maccabi pointed the new Zionist orientation of the World Union. The saga of the ancient Maccabees celebrated at Chanukah signified the courageous fight for freedom of conscience and religion, for autonomy and sovereignty - the very goals toward which modern Zionism strove.

With the establishment of Maccabi World Union, Maccabi became an integral body in the Zionist Movement.

Maccabi Tzair

Another positive development was the founding of a youth movement – Maccabi Tzair- Junior (young) Maccabi.

The first groups were formed in Germany in 1926, besides the adult Maccabi movement.

At the World Maccabi conference in Czechoslovakia, in 1929, a decision was taken to form Maccabi Tzair groups alongside all adult organizations.

In 1933 Maccabi Tzair was established in Eretz Yisrael spreading across the country, attracting thousands of youths and children
Thus an educational arm was formed to contribute Jewish and Zionist values to Jewish youth.

Here is the description on the website of the Maccabi's affiliate organization in the United States of America:

Maccabi USA/Sports for Israel endeavors, through sports, to perpetuate and preserve the American Jewish community by encouraging Jewish pride, strengthening Jewish bonds and by creating a heightened awareness of Israel and Jewish identity. The volunteer organization seeks to enrich the lives of Jewish youth in the United States, Israel and the Diaspora through athletic, cultural and educational programs.

We develop, promote and support international, national and regional athletic-based activities and facilities. We strive to provide Jewish athletes the world over the opportunity to share their heritage and customs in competitive athletic settings. We support programs that embody the Maccabi ideals of Jewish continuity, Zionism and excellence in sport.

We distinguish ourselves by:

• Sponsoring the United States Team to the World Maccabiah Games.
• Supporting programs such as the JCC Maccabi Games which introduce American Jewish youth to their heritage by sponsoring sports-related programs and activities.
• Supporting programs that enhance participation of American Jewish youth with their brethren throughout the world.
• Supporting athletic facilities and programs in Israel.
• Being a member of Maccabi World Union and worldwide Maccabi movement.

Does God send His blessings on an effort to promote the identity of a dead religion that He superseded with His own death on the wood of the Holy Cross?

Does God send His blessings on an effort to promote Zionism, which is part of the Judeo-Masonic effort to attack the Catholic Church and to eradicate all mention of the Holy Name of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ from public view?

Does God send His blessings on efforts to support the State of Israel that does so much to wreak bloodshed and violence against all manner of innocent human beings who happen to get in its way, as happened last year in a most graphic way with the bombing of Lebanon, one of many such assaults over the years committed by people who displaced Palestinians from their lands and then put them in the Israeli "refugee" camps?

Does God send His blessings on any effort to reaffirm people in their false religions by acts of omission, refusing to invite them into the true Faith, thereby giving every impression that their salvation is not imperiled by their adhering to their false religion and that, indeed, their salvation is more or less assured no matter their adherence to that false religion?

Does God send His blessings on the following speech, delivered by Dr. Max Nordau on "muscular Jewry"?

Muscular Jewry - Dr. Max Nordau’s Speech

At the second Zionist congress, Dr. Max Nordau delivered a vigorous speech stressing the need for reestablishing a Muscular Jewry. Following his important speech the basis for the foundation of the Jewish Movement for physical education and sports:

“Our history tells us to be strong and muscular, in the past; but for a very long time we have been concerned only with physical self – denial. Others succeeded in weakening our bodies;they turned the Ghetto Jewry of the Middle Ages into a poor miserable people, skinny and helpless.

We could have lived our lives sensibly. However, a healthy body, which we also considered an important goal, never attained the status of utmost happiness with us.

For many years we were prevented from taking care of it. We lacked strength, air, water and country – those elements of the physics of Aristotle. In the narrow streets of the Ghetto we forgot to exercise and stand straight. The rays of the sun never penetrated our houses; an eternal darkness reigned. And eyes, talking in darkness, started blinking nervously. The persecutions never ended; our lives were always in danger, our voices woeful. Only our martyrs could call out aloud: “Hear O Israel, The Lord is our god, The Lord is one”…

The weight has now been lifted. Our will is free. No one will prevent us from attending to our physical recovery. We shall renew our youth: we shall develop a wide chest, strong limbs, a courageous look – we will become a people of valor. Sport is educationally significant to us, the Jews, for not only do we have to recover physically, but also spiritually. It encourages confidence in our own strength. It sometimes happens that we are accused by our enemies of being too self- confidant; but who knows better then us, what little turn there is in it. That’s just what we lake – confidence in our own strength. We are witnessing the growth of new, strong, healthy Hebrew youth. They are still not like those Jews who fought the Greek soldiers and the Northern Barbarians. Nevertheless, they will grow and get stronger. Long live sports. Let the Hebrew sport clubs grow and flourish.

Change a few words here and there, ladies and gentlemen, and you could have a speech given by a minister of the Third Reich, if not by Adolph Hitler himself, in preparation for the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, Germany. "Muscular Jewry"? Are the alternating "soft-core" pornography photographs showing "muscular" Jewish women on the Maccabi websites part of the "pride" of Jewish identity? Is God indifferent to immodesty and indecency? Is God as indifferent to the promotion of Jewish "identity" as  is Father Joseph Ratzinger?

Obviously, a Catholic wills the good of all people, the ultimate expression of which is the salvation of their immortal souls as members of the Catholic Church. We hate no one, although militant Christophobes love to use the means of the mass media they control to brand us as "haters" for seeking to do what the Apostles started doing on Pentecost Sunday, that is, to seek their own conversion to the one, true Church. Then again, the Apostles themselves were harried and persecuted and put to death by the Jews of their day for their fidelity to the mission given them by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to seek with urgency the unconditional conversion of all men and nations to the true Church.

Consider this passage from the Acts of the Apostles:

Then went the officer with the ministers, and brought them without violence; for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned. And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them, Saying: Commanding we commanded you, that you should not teach in this name; and behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and you have a mind to bring the blood of this man upon us. But Peter and the apostles answering, said: We ought to obey God, rather than men. The God of our fathers hath raised up Jesus, whom you put to death, hanging him upon a tree.

Him hath God exalted with his right hand, to be Prince and Saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins. And we are witnesses of these things and the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to all that obey him. When they had heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they thought to put them to death. But one in the council rising up, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, respected by all the people, commanded the men to be put forth a little while. And he said to them: Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what you intend to do, as touching these men.

For before these days rose up Theodas, affirming himself to be somebody, to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all that believed him were scattered, and brought to nothing. After this man, rose up Judas of Galilee, in the days of the enrolling, and drew away the people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as consented to him, were dispersed. And now, therefore, I say to you, refrain from these men, and let them alone; for if this council or this work be of men, it will come to nought; But if it be of God, you cannot overthrow it, lest perhaps you be found even to fight against God. And they consented to him. And calling in the apostles, after they had scourged them, they charged them that they should not speak at all in the name of Jesus; and they dismissed them.

And they indeed went from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were accounted worthy to suffer reproach for the name of Jesus. And every day they ceased not in the temple, and from house to house, to teach and preach Christ Jesus. (Acts 5: 26-42)

Would Pope Saint Pius X have sent along "God's blessings" on an effort to promote the "identity" of people whose very movement, Zionism, is at war with Holy Mother Church? Would Pope Gregory XVI or Pope Pius IX have sent along "God's blessings" on any "muscular" effort other than the one described by Saint Paul in his First Epistle to the Corinthians?

To them that are under the law, as if I were under the law, (whereas myself was not under the law,) that I might gain them that were under the law. To them that were without the law, as if I were without the law, (whereas I was not without the law of God, but was in the law of Christ,) that I might gain them that were without the law. To the weak I became weak, that I might gain the weak. I became all things to all men, that I might save all. And I do all things for the gospel's sake: that I may be made partaker thereof. Know you not that they that run in the race, all run indeed, but one receiveth the prize? So run that you may obtain. And every one that striveth for the mastery, refraineth himself from all things: and they indeed that they may receive a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible one. (1 Cor. 9: 16-25)

Those who are steeped in sappy sentimentality or muddleheaded conciliarism (which is related to sappy sentimentality in most cases) are not going to understand that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ does not seek to reaffirm people in their false religions and that He does not look favorably upon efforts to promote a movement that continues to make war upon His Holy Name and the Church that He founded upon the Rock of Peter, the Pope, and the Deposit of Faith that He has entrusted exclusively to her maternal bosom. Alas, Father Joseph Ratzinger (alias Benedict XVI) thinks nothing of passing out "God's blessings" quite liberally to this or that group of infidels or heretics, having bestowed his "blessings" upon a group of Methodists who visited him at the Vatican in 2005 (Methodists, by and large, support abortion and contraception and are quite favorably disposed to perversity in many instances). And this is to say nothing about the conciliar Vatican's efforts to cooperate with the pro-abortion, pro-contraception World Council of Churches.

Those who are steeped in sappy sentimentality or muddleheaded conciliarism, which is full of its own Hegelian paradoxes and contradictions, need to have a healthy dose of Catholicism, which never reaffirms people in false religions and never presumes to send God's blessings upon efforts organized by people who hate Him and His Holy Church and who will never rest, as His Excellency Bishop Richard Williamson of the Society of Saint Pius X noted recently, until we bow to them and worship at their feet. Here is a good antidote to sappy sentimentality and to muddleheaded conciliarism, provided by Pope Pius IX in Qui Pluribus, November 9, 1846:

Also perverse is the shocking theory that it makes no difference to which religion one belongs, a theory which is greatly at variance even with reason. By means of this theory, those crafty men remove all distinction between virtue and vice, truth and error, honorable and vile action. They pretend that men can gain eternal salvation by the practice of any religion, as if there could ever be any sharing between justice and iniquity, any collaboration between light and darkness, or any agreement between Christ and Belial.

The terms that are alleged to constitute the text of Summorum Pontificum do not represent the great "victory" that so many traditionally-minded Catholics have been waiting so long to celebrate. Indeed, one press report indicates, whether as speculation of its own or from the text of the document or Ratzinger's accompanying letter of explanation, the decisions of the false "Second" Vatican Council are non-negotiable, especially as relates religious liberty, ecumenism and inter-religious dialogue. In other words, it will be mandatory that each diocese in the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarsm permit an offering of the modernized version of the Immemorial Mass of Tradition but that said offering can be in but one place, which would, if these reports are true, actually reduce the number of "indult" Masses being offered at the present time in some dioceses. The price for this: plugging one's ears and closing one's ears as Father Joseph Ratzinger, ordained as priest on June 29, 1951, dares to send "God's blessings" on an effort designed to promote a movement, Zionism, that is the eternal enemy of the Catholic Faith.

After all, however, of what concern should this be to Joseph Ratzinger? His faith is that of conciliarism. His goal at present is to silence traditionally-minded Catholics who remain in the structures of conciliarism and to try to "pick off" as many others as he can, realizing as a false "pope" his long-stated "strategy" for dealing with integrists, stated in his Principles of Catholic Theology:

Among the more obvious phenomena of the last years must be counted the increasing number of integralist groups in which the desire for piety, for the sense of mystery, is finding satisfaction. We must be on our guard against minimizing these movements. Without a doubt, they represent a sectarian zealotry that is the antithesis of Catholicity. We cannot resist them too firmly. (pp. 389-390)

Motu minus two, perhaps even closer than that.

Regardless as to when the "motu" is released and its terms officially announced, it should be clear to a few Catholics that there will be no cessation to outrages such as a false "pope" extending "God's blessings" on the enemies of the Catholic Faith as they participate in an event designed to take pride in a movement that is from Hell itself. Traditionally-minded Catholics in the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism who go along with this will simply experience a metamorphosis into "High Anglicans" who beat their breasts in private as "liberals" eat away at more and more "traditional" beliefs, content, however, to have their little corner in the "Anglican Communion." It is now turn for traditionally-minded Catholics in the conciliar structures to swallow hard and to take their place in the "communion" of the One World Church, living side by side with apostasy, betrayal and error just as Catholics who have suffered so long in the underground in Red China are supposed to take their place side-by-side with believing, practicing Communists.

Having recourse, as always to the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary during this time of apostasy and betrayal, may we pray as many Rosaries as our states-in-life permit each and every day, offering our acts of reparation for our sins--as well as those of the whole world--to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through that same Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

It is perhaps the case that, mystically speaking, Our Lord is in the tomb at the present time.We must keep Our Lady company at His tomb as the truths of the Holy Faith are buried from the view of most Catholics and replaced with a synthetic "faith" that encourages people in false religions to continue their lives of error and to continue their participation in movements that aim to eliminate the true Faith from public view once and for all. While praying for the enemies of the Church and willing their good, which is their conversion to the true Faith before they die, may we never flag in our own efforts, no matter how much we are mocked and reviled and humiliated, to lift high the banner of Christ the King and Mary our Immaculate Queen as we exclaim:

The Longer Version of the Saint Michael the Archangel Prayer, composed by Pope Leo XIII, 1888

O glorious Archangel Saint Michael, Prince of the heavenly host, be our defense in the terrible warfare which we carry on against principalities and powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, spirits of evil.  Come to the aid of man, whom God created immortal, made in His own image and likeness, and redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil.  Fight this day the battle of our Lord, together with  the holy angels, as already thou hast fought the leader of the proud angels, Lucifer, and his apostate host, who were powerless to resist thee, nor was there place for them any longer in heaven.  That cruel, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil or Satan who seduces the whole world, was cast into the abyss with his angels.  Behold this primeval enemy and slayer of men has taken courage.  Transformed into an angel of light, he wanders about with all the multitude of wicked spirits, invading the earth in order to blot out the Name of God and of His Christ, to seize upon, slay, and cast into eternal perdition, souls destined for the crown of eternal glory.  That wicked dragon pours out. as a most impure flood, the venom of his malice on men of depraved mind and corrupt heart, the spirit of lying, of impiety, of blasphemy, and the pestilent breath of impurity, and of every vice and iniquity.  These most crafty enemies have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the Immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on Her most sacred possessions. In the Holy Place itself, where has been set up the See of the most holy Peter and the Chair of Truth for the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety with the iniquitous design that when the Pastor has been struck the sheep may be scattered.  Arise then, O invincible Prince, bring help against the attacks of the lost spirits to the people of God, and give them the victory.  They venerate thee as their protector and patron; in thee holy Church glories as her defense against the malicious powers of hell; to thee has God entrusted the souls of men to be established in heavenly beatitude.  Oh, pray to the God of peace that He may put Satan under our feet, so far conquered that he may no longer be able to hold men in captivity and harm the Church.  Offer our prayers in the sight of the Most High, so that they may quickly conciliate the mercies of the Lord; and beating down the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, do thou again make him captive in the abyss, that he may no longer seduce the nations.  Amen.

Verse: Behold the Cross of the Lord; be scattered ye hostile powers.

Response: The Lion of the Tribe of Juda has conquered the root of David.

Verse: Let Thy mercies be upon us, O Lord.

Response: As we have hoped in Thee.

Verse: O Lord hear my prayer.

Response: And let my cry come unto Thee.

Verse: Let us pray.  O God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we call upon Thy holy Name, and as suppliants, we implore Thy clemency, that by the intercession of Mary, ever Virgin, immaculate and our Mother, and of the glorious Archangel Saint Michael, Thou wouldst deign to help us against Satan and all other unclean spirits, who wander about the world for the injury of the human race and the ruin of our souls.

Response:  Amen.
