Attention! Attention! Calling All Lemmings! Calling All Lemmings!

Drink Your Naturalist Kool-Aid Before Following The Lead Lemming Over the Cliff and Into the Abyss

by Thomas A. Droleskey

Attention! Attention! Calling all lemmings! Calling all lemmings! Drink your naturalist Kool-Aid before following the lead lemming over the cliff and into the abyss.

Every four years. Every four years. Every four years without fail. Without fail.

Just fill in the blank.

Take your pick.

George Herbert Walker Bush in 1988 and in 1992.

Robert Joseph Dole, Jr., in 1996.

George Walker Bush in 2000.

John Sidney McCain III in 2008.

Willard Mitt Romney in 2012.

Time and time again, adherents of the organized crime family of the naturalist "right" have voted in caucuses and primaries for the supposedly "lesser of two evils" who is said to be more "electable" than others in order to contest the supposedly "greater of two evils" represented by the prevailing boogeymen of the false opposite of the naturalist "left" without once realizing that the devil wins no matter which one of his naturalist minions is victorious in the farce called elections in a "pluralistic" society of religious indifferentism and moral relativism and rank materialism and utilitarianism and legal positivism. The devil can advance his agenda of neutralism more effectively and more permanently in the slower, more methodical manner that is used in presidential administrations of the "right" than he can with the those of the "left" as most adherents of the "right," fearful to do anything to enable their adversaries, remain silent in the wake of the increase in the size and the scope of the power of the Federal government of the United States of America accomplished by one of their "own."

Naturalism of any kind, whether of the false opposite of the "right" or that of the "left," is of the devil (an appendix describing what is meant by the false opposites of the "right" and the "left" is being published again below in light of the fact that a few people have written to me recently to say that they had recently found this site and might be otherwise unfamiliar with the terminology). He is the only winner, therefore, in contemporary elections. The devil seeks to agitate well-meaning people, Catholics and non-Catholics alike, into accepting men who are without any core principles, no less any true understanding of First and Last Things, heedless of the simple fact that no one who advances grave evils under cover of the civil law can do anything other than advance more evil and chaos no matter how well-intentioned he appears to be and no matter how fervently those who drink the naturalist Kool-Aid believe that they are not going to over the cliff if the lead lemming they vote for in causes and primaries gets nominated and then elected.

Remember, then Texas Governor George Walker Bush lost the popular vote to then Vice President Albert Arnold Gore, Jr., on November 7, 2000, by a margin of 543,895 votes, winning the presidency only because Green Party candidate Ralph Nader won 97,421 votes cast by committed leftists in the State of Florida, permitting Bush to win the Sunshine State's twenty-five electoral votes even though he out polled Gore in Florida by a meager margin of 517 votes. There was no national "mandate for the supposed "lesser of two evils" in the year 2000. Once inaugurated, of course, the supposed "lesser of two evils" went on to institutionalize many grave evils in the name of "compassionate conservatism" as he initiated unjust, immoral wars unconstitutionally that helped to bring this nation to the point of fiscal bankruptcy. As I have noted repeatedly, Bush the Lesser made possible the election of Caesar Barackus Obamus Ignoramus on November 4, 2008.

George Walker Bush received 47.87% of the popular vote in 2000. Gore combined with Green Party nominee Ralph Nader to receive 51.08% of the national popular vote. That breakdown is almost identical to the percentage, 46.1%, of the popular vote received by John Sidney McCain III on November 4, 2008, as opposed to Barack Hussein Obama's 52.6%. Admitting that the results in certain states were very close in both elections, it is nevertheless the case that the mythical "conservative majority" does not exist. Bush won 50.74% of the national popular vote in 2004 to John F. Kerry's 48.27% in the wake of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and not because of any "rush" to embrace" "conservatism."

Those who think that they can "work within" the Republican Party to "renew" it are as mistaken as those who believe that they can "work within" the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism to "fix" things there. The problem in both instances is simple: false premises are irredeemable and can serve as no foundation of anything other than abyss of personal and social and ecclesiastical chaos. I noted this eleven years ago in Justice Will Lose No Matter Who Wins, which was written during the election stalemate that following the elections on November 7, 2000. Remember also that even though George Walker Bush nominated "conservative" positivists such as John Roberts and Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court of the United States of America, he also tried to foist upon us his pro-abortion pal Harriet Miers (The Triumph of Protestantism and Posturing and Preening) upon us as a Supreme Court nominee. Indeed, the current lead lemming amongst the naturalists of the "right" is merely Bush the Lesser in a Coiffure).

As I noted in 2008 in Apostasy Has Consequences and Do You Hear The People Sing?, the demographics speak for themselves. The concentration camps known as public "schools," aided and abetted in most, although not all, instances by the formerly Catholic schools now in captivity to the counterfeit church of conciliarism, are producing millions upon millions of new voters each year who are trained in the most extreme naturalism currents of the false opposite known as the "left." Obama stands a real chance to be viewed by these new voters as the thirty-third degree Mason named Franklin Delano Roosevelt was viewed by a substantial majority of voters between 1932 and his death on April 12, 1945.

Most of these young graduates accept moral relativism, legal positivism, materialism, utilitarianism, hedonism (defined in its proper sense here of unlimited pleasure seeking), radical environmentalism, feminism, pantheism, the ideology of environmentalism, and other naturalistic currents uncritically. These young people want their bread and circuses. They want their money. And they are going to vote for whichever political party is going to assure them of these things, whether by means of the mythical entity known as the "free market" (see A Really Invisible Hand) or by government interventionism. No amount of "conservative" brainstorming is going to change the internal reality represented by the changing demographics of the country, demographics that are changing also by means of immigration as Asians and citizens of Spanish-speaking backgrounds appear to be aligning with the frankly statist Obama as opposed to the "free market" statists in the Republican Party.

This situation is compounded by the fact that "bishops" of the counterfeit church of conciliarism are absolutely clueless as to how the apostasies of the false church to which they belong have helped to deform the souls of the young people who have graduated from their schools to such an extent that they, these young graduates, think nothing of voting for candidates who support unrestricted baby-killing, whether by chemical or surgical means, at all times under cover of law.

No amount of posturing or preening about how much of a socialist Barack Hussein Obama is matters to the the voters in the "swing" states where this year's general election will be decided. They do not care about the fact that Obama is in the process of putting the finishing touches of the expansion of the the monster civil state of modernity. They do not care and they do not want to know that this monster civil state of Modernity is not the result of an attack on "liberty" but the direct result of the false, naturalistic, anti-Incarnational, religiously indifferentist and semi-Pelagian principles of Protestantism and Judeo-Masonry upon which all modern states, including the United States of America, is founded. All that matters to most voters is their pocket book. They simply do not care to know that Obama is Marxist thug in the pattern of Saul Alinsky.

Indeed, the fact that anyone is confused about our contemporary state of chaos and social disarray is itself quite a commentary on the abyss of ignorance in which we find ourselves as men believe that there is some other way to ameliorate social problems, each of which is caused by the Original Sin (please remember that unbelievers and Jews and Mohammedans and Buddhists and Hindus have souls that are, objectively speaking, in the grip of the devil by means of Original Sin) and our own Actual Sins, other than by their daily growth in the interior life of the soul by means of cooperating with the graces won for us on the wood of the Holy Cross by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and that flow into human hearts and souls through the loving hands of Our Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces.

Our true popes have warned us about the fraud that is naturalism and the sort of "liberty" that United States Ronald Paul (R-Texas) believe can serve as an antidote to statism, which is but the logical consequence of Paul's own libertarianism as he does not understand and seems very unwilling to accept the truth that Catholicism is the one and only foundation of personal and social order, that the true standard of human liberty is the Holy Cross of the Divine Redeemer as It is held high by Holy Mother Church:

This shameful font of indifferentism gives rise to that absurd and erroneous proposition which claims that liberty of conscience must be maintained for everyone. It spreads ruin in sacred and civil affairs, though some repeat over and over again with the greatest impudence that some advantage accrues to religion from it. "But the death of the soul is worse than freedom of error," as Augustine was wont to say. When all restraints are removed by which men are kept on the narrow path of truth, their nature, which is already inclined to evil, propels them to ruin. Then truly "the bottomless pit" is open from which John saw smoke ascending which obscured the sun, and out of which locusts flew forth to devastate the earth. Thence comes transformation of minds, corruption of youths, contempt of sacred things and holy laws -- in other words, a pestilence more deadly to the state than any other. Experience shows, even from earliest times, that cities renowned for wealth, dominion, and glory perished as a result of this single evil, namely immoderate freedom of opinion, license of free speech, and desire for novelty. (Pope Gregory XVI, Mirari Vos, August 15, 1832.)

For you well know, venerable brethren, that at this time men are found not a few who, applying to civil society the impious and absurd principle of "naturalism," as they call it, dare to teach that "the best constitution of public society and (also) civil progress altogether require that human society be conducted and governed without regard being had to religion any more than if it did not exist; or, at least, without any distinction being made between the true religion and false ones." And, against the doctrine of Scripture, of the Church, and of the Holy Fathers, they do not hesitate to assert that "that is the best condition of civil society, in which no duty is recognized, as attached to the civil power, of restraining by enacted penalties, offenders against the Catholic religion, except so far as public peace may require." From which totally false idea of social government they do not fear to foster that erroneous opinion, most fatal in its effects on the Catholic Church and the salvation of souls, called by Our Predecessor, Gregory XVI, an "insanity," viz., that "liberty of conscience and worship is each man's personal right, which ought to be legally proclaimed and asserted in every rightly constituted society; and that a right resides in the citizens to an absolute liberty, which should be restrained by no authority whether ecclesiastical or civil, whereby they may be able openly and publicly to manifest and declare any of their ideas whatever, either by word of mouth, by the press, or in any other way." But, while they rashly affirm this, they do not think and consider that they are preaching "liberty of perdition;" and that "if human arguments are always allowed free room for discussion, there will never be wanting men who will dare to resist truth, and to trust in the flowing speech of human wisdom; whereas we know, from the very teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ, how carefully Christian faith and wisdom should avoid this most injurious babbling."

And, since where religion has been removed from civil society, and the doctrine and authority of divine revelation repudiated, the genuine notion itself of justice and human right is darkened and lost, and the place of true justice and legitimate right is supplied by material force, thence it appears why it is that some, utterly neglecting and disregarding the surest principles of sound reason, dare to proclaim that "the people's will, manifested by what is called public opinion or in some other way, constitutes a supreme law, free from all divine and human control; and that in the political order accomplished facts, from the very circumstance that they are accomplished, have the force of right." But who, does not see and clearly perceive that human society, when set loose from the bonds of religion and true justice, can have, in truth, no other end than the purpose of obtaining and amassing wealth, and that (society under such circumstances) follows no other law in its actions, except the unchastened desire of ministering to its own pleasure and interests? (Pope Pius IX, Quanta Cura, December 8, 1864.)

God alone is Life. All other beings partake of life, but are not life. Christ, from all eternity and by His very nature, is "the Life," just as He is the Truth, because He is God of God. From Him, as from its most sacred source, all life pervades and ever will pervade creation. Whatever is, is by Him; whatever lives, lives by Him. For by the Word "all things were made; and without Him was made nothing that was made." This is true of the natural life; but, as We have sufficiently indicated above, we have a much higher and better life, won for us by Christ's mercy, that is to say, "the life of grace," whose happy consummation is "the life of glory," to which all our thoughts and actions ought to be directed. The whole object of Christian doctrine and morality is that "we being dead to sin, should live to justice" (I Peter ii., 24)-that is, to virtue and holiness. In this consists the moral life, with the certain hope of a happy eternity. This justice, in order to be advantageous to salvation, is nourished by Christian faith. "The just man liveth by faith" (Galatians iii., II). "Without faith it is impossible to please God" (Hebrews xi., 6). Consequently Jesus Christ, the creator and preserver of faith, also preserves and nourishes our moral life. This He does chiefly by the ministry of His Church. To Her, in His wise and merciful counsel, He has entrusted certain agencies which engender the supernatural life, protect it, and revive it if it should fail. This generative and conservative power of the virtues that make for salvation is therefore lost, whenever morality is dissociated from divine faith. A system of morality based exclusively on human reason robs man of his highest dignity and lowers him from the supernatural to the merely natural life. Not but that man is able by the right use of reason to know and to obey certain principles of the natural law. But though he should know them all and keep them inviolate through life-and even this is impossible without the aid of the grace of our Redeemer-still it is vain for anyone without faith to promise himself eternal salvation. "If anyone abide not in Me, he shall be cast forth as a branch, and shall wither, and they shall gather him up and cast him into the fire, and he burneth" john xv., 6). "He that believeth not shall be condemned" (Mark xvi., 16). We have but too much evidence of the value and result of a morality divorced from divine faith. How is it that, in spite of all the zeal for the welfare of the masses, nations are in such straits and even distress, and that the evil is daily on the increase? We are told that society is quite able to help itself; that it can flourish without the assistance of Christianity, and attain its end by its own unaided efforts. Public administrators prefer a purely secular system of government. All traces of the religion of our forefathers are daily disappearing from political life and administration. What blindness! Once the idea of the authority of God as the Judge of right and wrong is forgotten, law must necessarily lose its primary authority and justice must perish: and these are the two most powerful and most necessary bonds of society. Similarly, once the hope and expectation of eternal happiness is taken away, temporal goods will be greedily sought after. Every man will strive to secure the largest share for himself. Hence arise envy, jealousy, hatred. The consequences are conspiracy, anarchy, nihilism. There is neither peace abroad nor security at home. Public life is stained with crime. (Pope Leo XIII, Tametsi Futura Prospicientibus, November 1, 1900.)

Forget about Bain Capital and Willard Mitt Romney's vulture capitalism, which is a legitimate issue as Catholic Social Teaching opposes the maximizing of personal profits at the expense of the welfare of those whose very means to support their families is jeopardized by such an effort to maximize the wealth of others (Romney was photographed with American paper currency stuffed in his pants and jacket pockets as Mormonism is all about personal wealth, materialism, no matter is contention to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday recently that the photograph was to "celebrate" Bain Capital's first successorship came at quite a human cost; see Why Bain Capital Is a Real Weakness for Romney).

All you need to know about Willard Mitt Romney is that he thinks "contraception is working well" (see Midget Apostates Endorsing Midget Naturalists) and that he advanced both contraception and surgical baby-killing as Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (Mitt Romney Used Polls to Determine Campaign Position on Abortion, Mitt Romney Not Only Gave Money to Planned Parenthood, He Gave It Power and, for a very comprehensive review of Willard Mitt Romney's supposed "conversion" on the issue on abortion, How Pro-Life Is Mitt Romney?). That's all you need to know.

Willard Mitt Romney has engaged in a systematic, robotic effort to target voters by culling information about their purchasing and internet viewing habits in order to cruise to the Republican Party presidential nomination this year (see Voter Data Crucial to Victory). Fundamental principle founded in truth? Winning is the only thing that matters.

Indeed, one voter in South Carolina told a reporter for The New York Times recently that the "social issues" did not matter to him. All that matter this year was to "get the economy going again," which is almost exactly what I was told by a now former friend of mine from my undergraduate days at Saint John's University back in the 1970s. The man, who has achieved great success in the banking world, told me in early-1982 that "They [the Democrats] will give him [Ronald Wilson Reagan] everything he wants if he gets the economy going again." I told my then friend that he was wrong, that Reagan had betrayed the cause of truth when he nominated Sandra Day O'Connor to replace Associate Justice Potter Stewart to serve on the Supreme Court of the Untied States of America despite her being a known supporter of chemical and surgical baby-killing and a firm political and legislative ally of Planned Parenthood (see The Supreme Court Watch). How will did it go for the babies once Reagan's policies helped to "get the economy going again"? Not very well, adding to the debt that this country owes to God  that started on July 4, 1776.

Also, of course, forget about the fact that Barack Hussein Obama is a Marxist in the mode of Saul Alinsky and that his wife is said to dislike white Irish Catholics such as the just resigned White House Chief of Staff William Daley (see Obama's real reelection problem), which may or may not reflect her true feelings about the pro-abortion Irish-American Catholic serving as her husband's vice president, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.

Forget about the Trouble Asset Relief Program (TARP) that was started under George Walker Bush but perfected under Obama to reward his multi-gazillionaire supporters in the banking and corporate worlds and others of his political allies with our taxpayer dollars, which have gone into the black hole of Federal debt.

Forget about Attorney General Eric Holder's protection of Black Panthers seeking to intimidate voters in Philadelphia or his efforts to attack voter identification laws to prevent the furtherance of vote fraud.

Forget about the suit brought against the State of Arizona in its effort to protect itself from an influx of illegal immigrants.

Forget about ObamaCare, modeled after RomneyCare, and the attempt to nationalize the American health care industry, steeped in utilitarianism on its very own.

Forget about Eric Holder's Fast and Furious and Obama's rank violation of the Constitution by means of his commitment of the armed forces of the United States of America in Libya and Nigeria and elsewhere (see Hugo Chavez Ortega Obama).

All you need to know is that Barack Hussein Obama supports and has helped to advance the chemical and surgical execution of the innocent preborn. That's all you need to know.

The "debate" that will take place between naturalist and Mormon Americanist Willard Mitt Romney and naturalist and Marxist Barack Hussein Obama over the course of the next ten long, interminable months of predictable arguments will be fought long the naturalist fault-lines of the false opposites of "the left" and "the right." Romney will lose to Obama. And even if he wins, which I doubt will be the case, he will continue almost all of Obama's policies, thereby institutionalizing more and more evil that will make possible the election of Hillary Rodham Clinton or Andrew Mark Cuomo in 2016. And thus it must ever be in a land of one naturalist falsehood after another.

The fights that take place between the false opposites of the naturalist "left" and "right in this country" would not be necessary if this country was known as the Catholic States of America, a land where men and women would understand that no one is truly free unless he yokes himself entirely to the Cross of the Divine Redeemer as It is lifted high by the Catholic Church, a land would understand that civil law must be subordinated to the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law in all that pertains to the good of souls, a land where those in civil authority recognized the Catholic Church as the true religion and pursued the common temporal good in light of man's Last End. The "debate" about who is better able to "get the economy going again" is indeed just another sorry indication of the evil effects of a nation founded on the false, naturalistic, anti-Incarnational, religiously indifferentist and semi-Pelagian principles of Modernity.

Civil law is not meant to be founded on the shifting sands of "popular sovereignty," as many "conservatives" and "libertarians" claim, or on the shifting sands of judicial positivism (the belief that morality is determined by the vote of judges as they assess the constitutionality of various pieces of legislation and/or executive/administrative actions and orders). Civil law is meant to be founded on a due subordination to the Deposit of Faith that Our Lord entrusted exclusively to His Catholic Church.

We are to seek the favor of the highest law of all, that of Christ the King, as Dom Prosper Gueranger, O.S.B., noted in his commentary, contained in The Liturgical Year, on the feast of Saint Athanasius, which we celebrated yesterday, May 2, 2009:

The Court of our divine King, during his grandest of seasons, is brilliant beyond measure; and to-day, it is gladdened by the arrival of one of the most glorious champions of the world of truth for his holy cause. Among the guardians of the word of truth, confided by Jesus to the earth, is there one more faithful than Athanasius? Does not his very name remind us of dauntless courage in the defense of the sacred deposit, of heroic firmness and patience in suffering, of learning, of talent, of eloquence--in a word, of everything that goes to from a Saint, a Bishop, and a Doctor of the Church? Athanasius lived for the Son of god; the cause of the Son of God was that of Athanasius; he who blessed Athanasius, blessed the eternal Word; and he who insulted Athanasius insulted the eternal Word.

Never did our holy faith go through a greater ordeal than in the sad times immediately following the peace of the Church, when the bark of Peter had to pass through the most furious storm that hell has, so far, let loose against her. Satan had vainly sought to drown the Christian race in a sea of blood; the sword of persecution had grown blunt in the hands of Diocletian and Galerius; and the Cross appeared in the heavens, proclaiming the triumph of Christianity. Scarcely had the Church become aware of her victory when she felt herself shaken to her very foundation. Hell sent upon the earth a heresy which threatened to blight the fruit of three hundred years of martyrdom. Arius began his impious doctrine, that he who had hitherto been adored as the Son of God was only a creature, though the most perfect of all creatures. Immense was the number, even of the clergy, that fell into this new error; the Emperors became its abettors; and had not God himself interposed, men would soon have set up the cry throughout the world that the only result of the victory gained by the Christian religion was to change the object of idolatry, and put a new idol, called Jesus, in place of the old ones.

But he who had promised that the gates of hell should never prevail against his Church, faithfully fulfilled his promise. The primitive faith triumphed; the Council of Nicaea proclaimed the Son to be consubstantial with the Father; but the Church stood in need of a man in whom the cause of the consubstantial Word should be, so to speak, incarnated--a man with learning enough to foil the artifices of heresy, and with courage enough to bear every persecution without flinching. This man was Athanasius; and everyone that adores and loves the Son of God, should love and honour Athanasius. Five times banished from his See of Alexandria, he fled for protection to the West, which justly appreciated the glorious confessor of Jesus' divinity. In return for the hospitality accorded him by Rome, Athanasius gave her of his treasures. Being the admirer and friend of the great St. Antony, he was a fervent admirer of the monastic life, which, by the grace of the Holy Ghost, had flourished so wonderfully in the deserts of his vast patriarchate. He brought the precious seed to Rome, and the first monks seen there were the ones introduced by Athanasius. The heavenly plant became naturalized in its new soil; and though its growth was slow at first, it afterwards produced fruit more abundantly than it had ever done in the East.

Dom Prosper Gueranger qualified his opening paragraphs about Saint Athanasius by describing Arianism as having let loose "the most furious storm, so far," that Holy Mother Church had gone through. Modernism, which is the theological adaptation of the falsehoods of Modernity to make "belief" "reasonable" to the mythical entity known as "modern man" with his "modern mind, is by far the worst storm that Holy Mother Church as faced as Catholics have indeed accommodated themselves to philosophical and theological falsehoods suiting the purposes of disorder in their own souls and thus disorder in their nations and in the world quite consistently.

Falsehoods were indeed opposed by Saint Athanasius in his own day, which is why we should always keep alive the truly Catholic spirit he expressed in a letter to his flock while he was in exile and though so ill of by so many many of his fellow Catholics:

May God console you! ... What saddens you ... is the fact that others have occupied the churches by violence, while during this time you are on the outside. It is a fact that they have the premises – but you have the Apostolic Faith. They can occupy our churches, but they are outside the true Faith. You remain outside the places of worship, but the Faith dwells within you. Let us consider: what is more important, the place or the Faith? The true Faith, obviously. Who has lost and who has won in the struggle – the one who keeps the premises or the one who keeps the Faith? True, the premises are good when the Apostolic Faith is preached there; they are holy if everything takes place there in a holy way ...

"You are the ones who are happy; you who remain within the Church by your Faith, who hold firmly to the foundations of the Faith which has come down to you from Apostolic Tradition. And if an execrable jealousy has tried to shake it on a number of occasions, it has not succeeded. They are the ones who have broken away from it in the present crisis. No one, ever, will prevail against your Faith, beloved Brothers. And we believe that God will give us our churches back some day.

"Thus, the more violently they try to occupy the places of worship, the more they separate themselves from the Church. They claim that they represent the Church; but in reality, they are the ones who are expelling themselves from it and going astray. Even if Catholics faithful to Tradition are reduced to a handful, they are the ones who are the true Church of Jesus Christ." (Letter of St. Athanasius)

Let these words continue to be our consolation in these days when it is easier for most people to believe in the mythologies of naturalists in the political realm and the Modernists in the theological realm who esteem false idols than it is to hold steadfast to the Faith without any concessions to conciliarism or its false shepherds.

We turn to Our Lady with every beat of our hearts, consecrated as they must be to Most Sacred Heart of her Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, through her own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, praying as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit. We can crown Our Lady as Queen of our hearts by making reparation for our sins and those of the whole world by enslaving ourselves to her Divine Son through her Immaculate Heart, giving unto whatever merit we earn each day so that she can dispose of that merit however she sees fit for the honor and glory of the Most Holy Trinity and for the good of souls in the Church Suffering in Purgatory and here in the Church Militant on earth.

The final victory belongs to Our Lady's Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. We must consider it a privilege that we are alive in these times to plant a few seeds for the restoration of the Church Militant on earth and for the restoration of Christendom in the world, which cannot be restored if we act like lemmings and drink the naturalist Kool-Aid every two or four years.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon!

Why Do I Refer To The Naturalist "Left" and Naturalist "Right" As "False Opposites"?

Although I have explained the terms that I use on these site any number of times in various articles, I do know that human beings forget. Some people forget definitions and concepts. I have had the tendency in recent years to forget names of people who have crossed our lives only a time or two in our travels across the nation, something that I used to remember quite well decades ago. It's not decades "ago" any longer, I am afraid, which is how some e-mails fall between the cracks.

Thus it is that I thought it useful to rework an explanation of the "false opposites" of the "left" and "right" that I had included parenthetically in the first posting of this article as a more easily readable appendix.

I refer to the "false opposites" of the "left" and the "right" because, despite their differences over  the powers "government" over that of the "individual," both the "left" and the "right" reject Catholicism as the one and only foundation of personal and social order. The adherents of the "left" and the "right" believe that it is neither prudent or necessary to acknowledge that the Incarnation of the Second Person of the Most Blessed Trinity in the Virginal and Immaculate Womb of His Most Blessed Mother has changed human history. Such adherents also reject any suggestions that both men and their nations must be subordinate to Christ the King and the authority of His true Church on all that pertains to the good of souls and that the civil government has an obligation to pursue the common temporal good in light of man's Last End.

No matter the differences between "conservatives" and "liberals," my friends, they both have one mind and one heart in the belief that man does not need the teaching and sanctifying offices of the Catholic Church to guide them in their private and social lives. This is, of course, the triumph of the Judeo-Masonic spirit of naturalism that was dissected so well by Pope Leo XIII. It matters little as to who is or is not a formally enrolled member of the "lodges" when most Catholics and non-Catholics alike are infected with the ethos of naturalism.

Similarly, any civil leader who believes that can, either by himself or with others, pursue genuine order without the help of Our Lady and the use of her Most Holy Rosary is a fool. We must give public honor to Christ the King and to Mary our Immaculate Queen.

That's the point I try to make repeatedly on this site.

Viva Cristo Rey!
