As The Travels Resume: A Photographic Essay

Yes, the travels have resumed. Actually, we're staying put in Louisiana, as I indicated in Penance Is Better Than Ever in 2009, part 4, at least until I get a job that could provide sufficient income to pay our monthly expenses , an effort that is ongoing but continues within the Providence of God to bear no earthly fruit. As has been the case in the past, however, I thought that this photographic essay to accompanied the new travelogue would be appropriate.

Ah, those were the days. Feeding ice to our "ice hound," Chase, as I worked in that wonderful recliner chair in the manufactured house. Oh, please, don't remind me!

This is a triple function photograph: It can be seen as a photograph of Mr. Matthew D. Hardin installing Lucy's bunk bed, which it is. It can be seen as a photograh of Mr. Hardin dismantling Lucy's bunk bed. It can be seen as a future photograph of Mr. Hardin in one of Caesar Obamus's detention/internment centers.

Sharon took this photograph of a photograph of our two favorite Franciscans, Father Martin Stepanich, O.F.M., S.T.D., and Father Francis Miller, O.F.M., during our last visit to the Chicago area just before Sister Mary Olive Rowley died. The original of this photograph was taken on January 28, 2009.

 

Pray for our true bishops and our true priests! Say one Hail Mary for them right now!

Well, that's all for now. I'll try to have some more photographs at a later date.

 

Penance is better than ever in 2009, is it not?

All to thee, Blessed Mother. All to thy Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we love you. Save souls!

Isn't it time to pray a Rosary now.
