Jerusalem Belongs to Christ the King and His True Church, part four

The press of events has been such that no time has been available to offer another commentary on the continuing pursuit of President Donald John Trump by Lieutenant Philip Gerard, excuse me, “Special Counsel” Robert Mueller, who is so desperate to find something—anything—to use against his quarry that he is now resorting to mining through the president’s infamous rants on an instrument of alleged “communication” called “twitter.” As much as I am a critic of the president’s on many matters, including his beliefs about the Zionist State of Israel, which is the subject of this particular commentary, I always give credit where credit is due and have minced no words in describing the efforts of the part of deep state apparatchiks to effect a coup d’etat against the current occupant of the White House.

Although I believe that “twitter” is an absolute waste of a president’s time and energy and that the current president is to blame for much of his investigative woes by not being prepared to govern with an effective team who understood the necessity of a thorough purging of the criminal element within the United States Ministry of Injustice (referred to officially as the “Department of Justice”), to claim that Donald John Trump’s rants on “twitter” constitute any kind of “obstruction of justice” shows how much Robert Mueller is intent on providing the framework for the president’s impeachment should the organized crime family of the naturalist “left” regain control of the United States House of Representatives on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Even the arch-leftist Alan Dershowitz recognizes Mueller’s investigation is a threat to legitimate civil liberties (see An Obstruction Case Agaisnt Trump Would Be Civil Libertarian Nightmare.) The whole “collusion with Russia” allegation is a fantasy that served as the basis of the infamous “FISA” application made by the prima donna named James Brien Comey and the equally smarmy and smug Peter Strzok and has been proved as such even by the release of the highly redacted application itself (see Nunes Says Tha He Has  Been Totally Vindicated by the Release of the Redacted FISA Applicationl), meaning that there was not a legal basis for Mueller’s  appointment by the deep state stooge named Rod Rosentein, who is the Deputy Attorney General of the United States of America.

Mind you, I still carry no brief for President Trump personally as he remains a vulgar, crude caricature of a narcissist who is clueless about First and Last Things as well as about anything to do with genuine history. He is not used to have the word “no” uttered to him and has thus surrounded himself with those who reaffirm his own sense of grandeur and intelligence. This is true to such an extent that some of those who have enabled Trump over the years have become as adept as he has been at bending and breaking the rules and in simply lying or distorting the truth whenever it is “necessary” to do. To wit, although Michael Cohen, the president’s former personal attorney and friend, is certainly no one to be admired, it must be remembered Donald John Trump chose him to be his “fixer.” “Fixers” are not especially noted for loyalty when their “fixing” gets them in legal trouble, and Cohen might just know enough about Trump's seamier business dealings to cause him the kind of legal trouble that Robert Mueller (aka Lieutenant Philip Gerard) can't seem to muster fourteen months after his sham "investigation" began.

Moreover, none of us who criticized William Jefferson Blythe Clinton for his acts of serial adultery, which were enabled by his co-conspirator in intimidating the very women he used an abused, Madame Defarge (Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton), have any right to remain silent about the fact that the triply-“married” Trump has been a serial adulterer in his own right. The difference between Clinton and Trump is that the former used intimidation to silence his victims and the latter has used money to do so. It is a very telling sign of the times when supporters of the “conservative Trump are as indifferent, if not approving, of his lifelong amorality as supporters of the forty-second president were and continue to be. It is as though “Thou shalt not commit adultery” does not exist in the minds of the rulers and the ruled, and that matters more to the welfare of nations than does robust economic growth. Nations whose rulers and citizens scoff at the gravity of sin and the deleterious consequences that must flow therefrom will wind up in such a weakened condition that they will corrode from within as well-financed and organized “anarchists” take advantage of situations where most people are entirely focused on bread and circuses. This is why I do not rend my garments or gnash my teeth over every development that is used by the adversary to agitate the masses.

The "Eternal Home of the Jewish People?

There are some issues, however, that deal very directly with the adversary’s efforts to prepare the way for the coming of the Antichrist that require a bit of commentary, and one of these is the aforementioned uncritical support that President Donald John Trump gives to the Zionist State of Israel, whose leaders are now debating whether to declare their country, which, although a legal fact by virtue of its establishment seventy years ago, has no right from the true God of Divine Revelation to exist, should be declared as what it has always been as a matter of fact if not as yet of law: a Jewish state:

Israel passed early Thursday a controversial bill that officially defines Israel as the national homeland of the Jewish people and asserts that "the realization of the right to national self-determination in Israel is unique to the Jewish people," sparking outrage from Israel's Arab community and provoking concern from the international community.

62 lawmakers in Israel's Knesset voted in favor of the legislation and 55 opposed it. Two lawmakers, Benny Begin (Likud) and Orly Levy-Abekasis (independent) abstained.

As one who has surrounded himself with Talmudists throughout his entire life, including those with deep ties to Russian financial interests, it is

The nation-state law also includes clauses stating that a "united Jerusalem" is the capital of Israel and that Hebrew is the country's official language. Another says that "the state sees the development of Jewish settlement as a national value and will act to encourage and promote its establishment and consolidation."

It passed after a long and stormy debate that began in the afternoon, with lawmakers voting on hundreds of clauses presented by the opposition that objected to different parts of the bill.

Immediately after the law passed, Arab lawmakers tore copies in protest, and were subsequently removed from the Knesset plenum hall. Lawmaker Ayman Odeh, chairman of the Joint List, released a statement saying that Israel "declared it does not want us here" and that it had "passed a law of Jewish supremacy and told us that we will always be second-class citiziens."

Speaking moments after the bill passed into law, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "This is a defining moment – long live the State of Israel."

Netanyahu further said that "122 years after Herzl made his vision known, with this law we determined the founding principle of our existence. Israel is the nation state of the Jewish people, and respects the rights of all of its citizens." (Knesset Passes Controversial Jewish State Bill.)

There have been a few “conservative” Catholics who have attempted to defend President Donald John Trump’s decision to move the American embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, which the president has referred to on several occasions as “the eternal capital of Israel,” on the grounds that he has only recognized legally the actual fact of what the Israelis have determined for themselves. Nice try, but the reality of the situation is that Jerusalem does not belong to the Zionist State of Israel either as a secular state or, presently, as the “Jewish state.” Judaism is a false religion. The resettlement of Jews in Palestine that was the goal of the founder of international Zionism, Theodore Herzl, was specifically and categorically rejected and condemned by Pope Saint Pius X when he met with Herzl on January 25, 1904, the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle:

HERZL: Yesterday I was with the Pope [Pius X]. . . . I arrived ten minutes ahead of time, and without having to wait I was conducted through a number of small reception rooms to the Pope. He received me standing and held out his hand, which I did not kiss. Lippay had told me I had to do it, but I didn’t. I believe this spoiled my chances with him, for everyone who visits him kneels and at least kisses his hand. This hand kiss had worried me a great deal and I was glad when it was out of the way.

He seated himself in an armchair, a throne for minor affairs, and invited me to sit by his side. He smiled in kindly anticipation. I began:

HERZL: I thank Your Holiness for the favor of granting me this audience. [I begged him to excuse my miserable Italian, but he said:

POPE: No, Signor Commander, you speak very well.

HERZL: [He is an honest, rough-hewn village priest, to whom Christianity has remained a living thing even in the Vatican. I briefly laid my request before him. But annoyed perhaps by my refusal to kiss his hand, he answered in a stern categorical manner.

POPE: We are unable to favor this movement [of Zionism]. We cannot prevent the Jews from going to Jerusalem—but we could never sanction it. The ground of Jerusalem, if it were not always sacred, has been sanctified by the life of Jesus Christ. As the head of the Church I cannot answer you otherwise. The Jews have not recognized our Lord, therefore we cannot recognize the Jewish people.

HERZL: [The conflict between Rome and Jerusalem, represented by the one and the other of us, was once again under way. At the outset I tried to be conciliatory. I said my little piece. . . . It didn’t greatly impress him. Jerusalem was not to be placed in Jewish hands.] And its present status, Holy Father?

POPE: I know, it is disagreeable to see the Turks in possession of our Holy Places. We simply have to put up with it. But to sanction the Jewish wish to occupy these sites, that we cannot do.

HERZL: [I said that we based our movement solely on the sufferings of the Jews, and wished to put aside all religious issues].

POPE: Yes, but we, but I as the head of the Catholic Church, cannot do this. One of two things will likely happen. Either the Jews will retain their ancient faith and continue to await the Messiah whom we believe has already appeared—in which case they are denying the divinity of Jesus and we cannot assist them. Or else they will go there with no religion whatever, and then we can have nothing at all to do with them. The Jewish faith was the foundation of our own, but it has been superceded by the teachings of Christ, and we cannot admit that it still enjoys any validity. The Jews who should have been the first to acknowledge Jesus Christ have not done so to this day.

HERZL: [It was on the tip of my tongue to remark, “It happens in every family: no one believes in his own relative.” But, instead, I said:] Terror and persecution were not precisely the best means for converting the Jews. [His reply had an element of grandeur in its simplicity:]

POPE: Our Lord came without power. He came in peace. He persecuted no one. He was abandoned even by his apostles. It was only later that he attained stature. It took three centuries for the Church to evolve. The Jews therefore had plenty of time in which to accept his divinity without duress or pressure. But they chose not to do so, and they have not done it yet.

HERZL: But, Holy Father, the Jews are in a terrible plight. I do not know if Your Holiness is aware of the full extent of their tragedy. We need a land for these harried people.

POPE: Must it be Jerusalem?

HERZL: We are not asking for Jerusalem, but for Palestine—for only the secular land.

POPE: We cannot be in favor of it.

[Editor Lowenthal interjects here] Here unrelenting replacement theology is plainly upheld as the norm of the Roman Catholic Church. Further, this confession, along with the whole tone of the Pope in his meeting with Herzl, indicates the perpetuation of a doctrinal emphasis that has resulted in centuries of degrading behavior toward the Jews. However, this response has the “grandeur” of total avoidance of that which Herzl had intimated, namely that the abusive reputation of Roman Catholicism toward the Jews was unlikely to foster conversion. Further, if, “It took three centuries for the Church to evolve,” it was that very same period of time that it took for the Church to consolidate and launch its thrust of anti-Semitism through the following centuries.
HERZL: Does Your Holiness know the situation of the Jews?

POPE: Yes, from my days in Mantua, where there are Jews. I have always been in friendly relations with Jews. Only the other evening two Jews were here to see me. There are other bonds than those of religion: social intercourse, for example, and philanthropy. Such bonds we do not refuse to maintain with the Jews. Indeed we also pray for them, that their spirit see the light. This very day the Church is celebrating the feast of an unbeliever who became converted in a miraculous manner—on the road to Damascus. And so if you come to Palestine and settle your people there, we will be ready with churches and priests to baptize all of you.

HERZL: [At this point Conte Lippay had himself announced. The Pope bade him be admitted. The Conte kneeled, kissed his hand, and joined in the conversation by telling of our “miraculous” meeting in the Bauer beerhall at Venice. The miracle was that he had originally intended to stay overnight in Padua, and instead, it turned out that he was given to hear me express the wish to kiss the Holy Father’s foot. At this the Pope made no movement, for I hadn’t even kissed his hand. Lippay proceeded to tell how I had expiated on the noble qualities of Jesus Christ. The Pope listened, and now and then took a pinch of snuff and sneezed into a big red cotton handkerchief. It is these peasant touches which I like about him best and which most of all compel my respect. Lippay, it would appear, wanted to account for his introducing me, and perhaps ward off a word of reproach. But the Pope said:

POPE: On the contrary, I am glad you brought me the Signor Commendatore.

HERZL: [As to the real business, he repeated what he had told me, until he dismissed us:]

POPE: Not possible!

HERZL: [Lippay stayed on his knees for an unconscionable time and never seemed to tire of kissing his hand. It was apparent that this was what the Pope liked. But on taking leave, I contented myself with shaking his hand warmly and bowing deeply. The audience lasted about twenty-five minutes. While spending the last hour in the Raphael gallery, I saw a picture of an Emperor kneeling before a seated Pope and receiving the crown from his hands. That’s how Rome wants it.]   (Marvin Lowenthal, Diaries of Theodore Herzl, pp. 427- 430.)

Judaism has been superseded by Catholicism, and the establishment of the Zionist State of Israel, which was founded as its racialist, militarist Zionist “founding fathers” drove off and seized the property of Palestinians whose families had lived there for over sixteen hundred years, and it is now officially the basis of Israel’s very existence. Pope Saint Pius X recognized that this would be the only result of Herzl’s project, which did not then and has not since enjoyed the favor of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This matters not to Trump, of course, who has long received financing from Russian Jews and whose own daughter, Ivanka Trump Kushner, and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, are his trusted advisors, especially when it comes to his administration’s policies in the Middle East.

Kushner, who rarely speaks in public, was unapologetic in his support for the Zionist State of Israel when he gave an address in Jerusalem on May 14, 2018, upon the opening of the transferred American embassy there:

I am so proud to be here today in Jerusalem, the eternal heart of the Jewish people(Transcript of Jared Kushner Speech in Jerusalem.)

So much for the “secular” purpose of the moving of the American embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, which belongs to Christ the King and His True Church, the Catholic Church, not to the people that Our King used the pagan Romans to expel from the land where He had lived, died, rose from the dead and then ascended into Heaven.

Kushner went on to claim that Jerusalem belongs to all religious faiths:

When we stand together for the principles and the values we share, we shine the light of justice onto the world. Israel proves every day the boundless power of freedom. This land is the only land in the Middle East in which Jews, Muslims and Christians and people of all faiths participate and worship freely according to their beliefs. Israel protects women's rights, freedom of speech and the right of every individual to reach their God-given potential. (Transcript of Jared Kushner Speech in Jerusalem.)

Wrong again, Mr. Kushner.

Every religion other than Catholicism is of the devil.

Kushner also spoke near the conclusion of his speech of the hope for “peace” in the Middle East, doing so as Israeli forces were killing Arab protestors:

As Israel turns 70, the search for lasting peace turns over a new leaf, one of realism and of not being afraid to stand strongly with our allies for what is good, for what is right, and for what is true. When there -- thank you.

When there is peace in this region, we will look back upon this day and remember that the journey to peace started with a strong America recognizing the truth.

The pursuit of peace is the noblest pursuit of human kind. I believe peace is within reach if we dare to believe that the future can be different from the past, that we are not condemned to relive history, and that the way things were is not how they must forever be. It will not be an easy road, and it will be filled with difficult moments and tough decisions, but if we dream big, if we lead with courage, we can change the trajectory for millions from hopeless to boundless. (Transcript of Jared Kushner Speech in Jerusalem.)

Wrong again, Mr. Kushner.

The very Divine Redeemer you reject said the following with His own blessed lips:

At that time, Jesus said to the Scribes and Pharisees, Therefore, behold, I send you prophets, and wise men, and scribes; and some you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from town to town; that upon you may come all the just blood that has been shed on the earth, from the blood of Abel the just unto the blood of Zacharias the son of Barachias, whom you killed between the temple and the altar. Amen I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. Jerusalem, Jerusalem! you who kill the prophets, and stone those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together, as a hen gathers her young under her wings, but you would not! Behold, your house is left to you desolate. For I say to you, you shall not see Me henceforth until you shall say, Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord! (Matthew 23:34-39.)

There will never be peace in the Middle East until everyone in that region converts to the Catholic Faith and say in unison, “Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord!”

(A person who recommended that I appear on Crossfire in 1987 to discuss an outbreak of Palestinian-Israeli violence then was incredulous--perhaps "mortified" is a better word—when I said that I would say just that, that everyone involved had to convert to the Catholic Church, in a live appearance on television. Guess what? I did not appear on Crossfire.)

Every single bit of the Holy Land, including Jerusalem, was sanctified by the Incarnation, Nativity, Hidden Life, Public Life and Passion, Death, Resurrection and Ascension of Our Divine Redeemer, Christ the King.

The "New Constantine"?

Although a writer named Blaise Joseph wrote as early as March of 2016 that then-candidate Donald John Trump was a sort of a “new Constantine,” I would like to remind the very few remaining readers of this site that Emperor Constantine permitted and then supported with the full might of Roman imperial resources the work of his saintly mother, Saint Helena, to recover the true Cross that is hated to this day by Jews, many of whom, especially of the ultra-Orthodox variety, are taught to spit in the direction of any public display of the very instrument of their redemption.

The “new Constantine” sent Jared Kushner to Jerusalem to proclaim it to be the “eternal heart of the Jewish people."

Emperor Constantine sent Saint Helena to Jerusalem to dig up the Holy Cross that had been buried by the Jews themselves.

Here is the account provided by Dom Prosper Gueranger, O.S.B., on the Feast of the Finding of the Holy Cross:

It was most just that our divine King should show himself to us with the sceptre of his power, to the end that nothing might be wanting to the majesty of his empire. This sceptre is the Cross; and Paschal Time was to be the season for its being offered to him in glad homage. A few weeks back, and the Cross was shown to us to be the instrument of our Emmanuel's humiliation and as the bed of suffering whereon he died; but has he not since then conquered Death? and what is his cross now but a trophy of his victory? Let it then be brought forth to our gaze and let every knee bend before this sacred Wood, whereby our Jesus won the honour and praise we now give him!

On the day of his birth at Bethlehem we sang these words of the Prophet Isaias: A child is born unto us, and a son is given unto us, and his government is upon his shoulder. We have seen him carrying this Cross upon his shoulder; as Isaac carried the wood for his own immolation; but now it is no longer a heavy burden. It is shining with a brightness that ravishes the eyes of the angels; and after having received the veneration of man as long as the world lasts, it will suddenly appear in the clouds of heaven, near the Judge of the living and the dead--a consolation to them that have loved it, but a reproach to such as have treated it with contempt or forgetfulness.

Our Saviour did not think the time between his Resurrection and Ascension a fitting one for glorying the instrument of his victory. The Cross was not to be brought into notice until it had subjected the world to him whose glory it so eloquently proclaimed. Jesus was three days in the tomb; his Cross is to lie buried, unknown to men, for three centuries: but it is to have its resurrection, and the Church celebrates this resurrection to-day. Jesus would, in his own good time, add to the joy of Easter by miraculously revealing to us this sacred monument of his love for mankind. He entrusts it to our keeping--it is to be our consolation--as long as the world lasts: is it not just that we should love and venerate it?

Never had Satan's pride with such a humiliation as when he saw the instrument of our perdition made the instrument of our salvation. As the Church expresses it in her Preface for Passiontide: 'He that overcame mankind by a Tree, was overcome by a Tree." Thus foiled, he vented his fury upon this saving Wood, which so bitterly reminded him both of the irresistible power of his conqueror and of the dignity of man who had been redeemed at so great a price. He would fain have annihilated the Cross; but knowing that this was beyond his power, he endeavoured to profane it, and hide it from view. He therefore instigated the Jews to bury it. At the foot of Calvary, not far from the sepulchre, was a deep hole. Into this was the Cross thrown, together with those of the two thieves, the Nails, the Crown of Thorns, and the Inscription or Title written by Pilate. The hole was then filled up with rubbish and earth, and the Sanhedrin exulted in the thought its having effaced the memory of the Nazarene. who could not save himself from the ignominious death of the Cross.

Forty years after this, Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans, the instruments of God's vengeance. The Holy Places were desecrated by idolaters. A small temple to Venus was erected on Calvary, and another to Jupiter over the Holy Sepulchre. By this, the pagans intended derision; whereas, they were perpetuating the knowledge of two spots of most sacred interest. When peace was restored under Constantine, the Christians had but to remove these pagan monuments, and their eyes behold the holy ground that had been bedewed with the Blood of Jesus, and the glorious Sepulchre. As to the Cross, it was not so easily found. The sceptre of our divine King was to be raised up from its tomb by a royal hand. The saintly Empress Helen, Constantine's mother, was chosen by heaven to pay to Jesus--and that, too, on the very spot where he had received his greatest humiliations--the honours which are due to him as the King of the world. Before laying the foundations of the Basilica of the Resurrection, this worthy follower of Magdalen and the other holy women of the sepulchre was anxious to discover the instrument of our salvation. The Jews had kept up the tradition of the site where it had been buried: the Empress had the excavations made accordingly. With what holy impatience she must have watched the works! and with what ecstasy of joy did she behold the redeeming Wood, which, though not at first distinguishable, was certainly one of the three Crosses that were found! She addressed a fervent prayer to the Saviour, who alone could reveal to her which was the trophy of his victory; the bishop, Macarinus, united his prayers with hers; and their faith was rewarded by a miracle that left them no doubt as to which was the true Cross.

This glorious work was accomplished and the Church was put in possession of the instrument of the world's Redemption. Both East and West were filled with joy at the news of this precious discovery, which heaven had set on foot, and which gave the last finish to the triumph of Christianity. Christ completed his victory over the pagan world by raising thus his standard--not a figurative one, but his own real standard--the Cross, which, up to that time, had been a stumbling-block to the Jews, and foolishness to the Gentiles; but before which every Christian is henceforth to bend his knee.

Helen placed the holy Cross in the Basilica which had been built by her orders, and which covered both the glorious Sepulchre and the hill of the Crucifixion. Another Church was erected on the site where the Cross had lain concealed for three hundred years, and the faithful are enabled, by the long flights of steps, to go down into the deep grotto which had been its tomb. Pilgrims came from every part of the world to visit the hallowed places where our Redemption had been wrought, and to venerate the sacred Wood of the Cross. But God's merciful providence willed not that the precious pledge of Jesus' lover for mankind should be confined to sanctuary only, however venerable, it might be. Immediately after the discovery, Helen had a very large piece cut from the Cross; and this fragment she destined for Rome, the new Jerusalem. The precious gift was enshrined in the Basilica built by her son Constantine in the Sessorian garden, which was afterwards called the Basilica of the Holy Cross-in-Jersualem (Basilica di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme).

By degrees, other places were honoured by the presence of the Wood of the Holy Cross. So far back as the fourth century, we have St. Cyril of Jerusalem attesting that many of the pilgrims used to obtain small pieces of it, and thus carried the precious treasure into their respective countries; and St. Paulinus of Nola, who lived in the same century, assures us that these many gifts lessened not the size of the original relic. In the sixth century, the holy Queen St. Radegonde obtained from Emperor Justin II a large piece of the fragment that was in the imperial treasury in Constantinople. It was for the reception of this piece of the True Cross into France that Venantius Fortunatus composed the Vexilla Regis--that beautiful hymn which the Church uses in her Liturgy as often as she celebrates the praise of the Holy Cross. After several times losing and regaining it, Jerusalem was at length for ever deprived of the precious relic. From Constantinople was a gainer by Jerusalem's loss. From Constantinople, especially during the Crusades, many churches of the West procured large pieces. These again supplied other places; until at length the Wood of the Cross was to be found in almost every town of any importance. There is scarcely to be found a Catholic, who, some time or other in his life,, has not had the happiness of seeing and venerating a portion of this sacred object. How many acts of love and gratitude have not been occasioned by this? And who could fail to recognize, in this successive profusion of our Jesus' Cross, a plan of divine providence for exciting us to appreciation of our Redemption, on which rests all our hopes of eternal happiness?

How dear, then, to us should this day be, which blends together the recollection of the Holy Cross and the joys of the Resurrection of that Jesus who by the Cross has won the throne to which we shall soon see him ascend! Let us thank our Heavenly Father for his having restored to mankind a treasure so immensely precious as is the Cross. Until the day comes for it to appear with himself in the clouds of heaven, Jesus has entrusted it to his Spouse, as a pledge of his second coming. On that day, he will collect together all the fragments by his divine power; and the tree of Life will then gladden the elect with its dazzling beauty, and invite them to eternal rest beneath its refreshing shade. (Dom Prosper Gueranger, O.S.B., The Liturgical Year: Paschal Time: Book II, pp. 414-418.)

The readings for Matins on the Feast of the Finding of the Holy Cross amplifies on the description provided by Dom Prosper Gueranger, O.S.B., in The Liturgical Year:

After that famous victory which the Emperor Constantine gained over Maxentius, in the year 312, on the eve of which the banner of the Cross of the Lord had been given to him from heaven, Helen, the mother of Constantine, being warned in a dream, came to Jerusalem, in 326, to seek for the Cross. There it was her care to cause to be overthrown the marble statue of Venus, which had stood on Calvary for about one hundred and eighty years, and which had orignally been put there to desecrate and destroy the memorial of the sufferings of the Lord Christ. The like work Helen did at Bethlehem, by cleansing from an image of Adonis the stable where the Saviour was born, and from an idol of Jupiter, the place where He had arisen from the dead.

Then she had thus cleansed the place where the Cross had stood, Helen caused deep excavations to be made, which resulted in the discovery of three crosses, and, apart from them, the writing which had been nailed on that of the Lord. But which of the crosses had been His was unknown, and was only manifested by a miracle. Macarius, Bishop of Jerusalem, after offering solemn prayers to God, touched with each of the three a woman who was afflicted with a grievous disease. The two first had no effect, but at the touch of the third she was immediately healed.

Helen, after she had found the life-giving Cross, built over the site of the Passion a Church of extraordinary splendour, wherein she deposited part of the Cross, shut up in a silver case. Another part which she gave to her son, Constantine, was laid up in the Church of the Holy Cross of Jerusalem, which he built at Rome on the site of the Sessorian Palace. She also gave to her son the nails with which the Most Holy Body of Jesus Christ had been pierced. Constantine established a law abolishing the punishment of crucifixion for all time coming and thenceforth what had hitherto been a hissing and a curse among men, began to be esteemed worshipful and glorious. (Matins, The Divine Office, Feast of the Finding of the Holy Cross.)

There is a quite a difference between Emperor Constantine and the alleged “new Constantine.” No one who understands the ineffable Sacrifice that Our Lord made of Himself in a bloody manner on Good Friday and that is perpetuated in an unbloody manner at the hands of true priests who offer (a true) Holy Mass can speak of Jerusalem as “the eternal heart of the Jewish people.”

God has spoken definitively about the Jewish religion and He wants those who embrace it in any of its permutations to convert to the true Faith before they die. It is not to hate Jews personally to condemn their false religion and to seek their conversion to Catholicism. Indeed, it is our duty to condemn all false religions and to seek the conversion of all non-Catholics as we strive to make reparation for our own many sins that wounded Our Lord once in time and wound His Mystical Body, the Church Militant on earth, today.

Father Denis Fahey, the great defender of the Social Reign of Christ the King, explained how the Talmudists use the “anti-Semite” card to tar anyone and everyone who opposes them and will not accept their false religion as valid and who dares to place into question their tortured accounts of human history:

Yet all the propaganda about that display of Anti-Semitism should not have made Catholics forget the existence of age-long Jewish Naturalism or Anti-Supernaturalism. Forgetfulness of the disorder of Jewish Naturalistic opposition to Christ the King is keeping Catholics blind to the danger that is arising from the clever extension of the term “Anti-Semitism,” with all its war-connotation in the minds of the unthinking, to include any form of opposition to the Jewish Nation’s naturalistic aims. For the leaders of the Jewish Nation, to stand for the rights of Christ the King is logically to be “anti-Semitic.” (Father Denis Fahey, The Mystical Body of Christ in the Modern World.)

There are still ways, however, wherein God manifests His displeasure with Judaism and their symbols their use as prayer props, including the so-called “Western Wall” in Jerusalem itself:

A large boulder from the Western Wall was dislodged from the ancient structure on Monday morning, tumbling down onto an egalitarian prayer platform.

There were no injuries in the incident near Robinson’s Arch, south of the main prayer plaza, but the rock landed very close to a female worshiper. It damaged the platform where she was praying.

“I didn’t hear or feel anything until it landed right at my feet, ” said Daniella Goldberg, 79. She said she was praying at the site, as she does regularly, when suddenly the boulder crashed down. She told Hadashot TV news she “tried not to let the incident distract me from my prayers” and refused to be drawn on whether divine providence had spared her. “May we all be blessed,” she said.

“Israel Antiquities Authority officials are dealing with the incident,” said Masorti movement head Yitzhar Hess in a statement posted on Twitter, alongside dramatic footage of the stone coming loose and crashing onto the platform, revealing dirt behind the wall.

“This is a wake-up call — we must check the entire Western Wall, both parts, so that heaven forbid there is no disaster in the future,” he added.

The fallen boulder weighed about 220 pounds (100 kilos), Israel Radio said.

The rabbi of the main Western Wall plaza called for public “soul searching” after the incident. “This is an unusual and most rare incident that has not occurred for decades,” said Western Wall Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch. “The fact that this powerful incident happened a day after the 9th of Av fast, in which we mourned the destruction of our temples, raises doubts and questions which the human soul is too small to contain, and requires soul-searching.”

“I thank the creator that a heavy disaster was averted,” he added. (Ancient Boulder Dislodges from Fake, Phony, Fraud Western Wall.)

The “soul-searching” that Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch should undertake is ask the One he hates, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, to remove the blinders from his eyes and those of all other Jews so that he and they could embrace the very instrument upon which they spit and seek to keep from public view, the Holy Cross, as much as the Holy Name of Jesus. Rabbi Rabinovitch would then come to understand that the wall at worship Jews invoke their false gods is not part of Herod’s Temple whatsoever:

No man that hath read the history of the destruction of Jerusalem by the Roman Princes Vespasian and Titus, can be ignorant that it was of that destruction that the Lord spoke when He wept over the ruin of the city. It is these Princes that are pointed at where it is said "For the days shall come upon thee that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee." The truth of what followeth: "They shall not leave in thee one stone upon another" is even now fulfilled in the change of site of the city, which hath been re-built round about that place without the gates, where the Lord was crucified, while the ancient city hath been, as I am told, rooted up from the very foundations.

What the sin of Jerusalem was which brought upon her the punishment of this destruction, we find written after: "Because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation." The Maker of men, through the mystery of His Incarnation, was pleased to visit her, but she remembered not to fear and to love Him. Hence also the Prophet Jeremiah, rebuking the hardness of man's heart, calleth the birds of the air to testify against it, saying "The stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed time and the turtle, and the swallow, and the crane, observe the time of their coming but my people know not the judgment of the Lord." viii. 7.

The Saviour wept over the ruin of the unfaithful city, while she herself as yet knew not that it was coming. If thou hadst known, said He, even thou and we may understand Him to have meant thou wouldest thyself have wept, in place of making merry as thou now dost, knowing not what hangeth over thee. And hence He saith farther: "at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace." While she was giving herself up to fleshly pleasures, and casting no look ahead upon coming sorrows, she had still for a day in her power the things which might have brought unto her peace. (Pope Saint Gregory the Great, Matins, Divine Office.)

And Jesus being come out of the temple, went away. And his disciples came to shew him the buildings of the temple. [2] And he answering, said to them: Do you see all these things? Amen I say to you there shall not be left here a stone upon a stone that shall not be destroyed. (Matthew 24: 1-2.)

Our Lord prophesied that there “shall not be left here a stone upon a stone that shall not be destroyed,” which should teach us that the so-called Western Wall is not part of Solomon’s Temple as modern Jews contend (it is a retaining wall for the courtyard on the Temple mount, not for the Temple itself, which was destroyed, stone upon stone) but another false representation made by those who believe that they remain the Chosen People, which they do not.

Father George Leo Haydock’s commentary on verse two of the twenty-fourth chapter of the Gospel according to Saint Matthew explains the falsity of the Jewish contention that the Western (Wailing) Wall has anything to do with Solomon’s Temple, which was destroyed by the Romans.  in its entirety. It was, to use a favorite phrase of a friend of ours, leveled. Ironically, it was the Jews themselves who destroyed a few remnants of the Temple’s wall in the Fourth Century as they did the bidding of Julian the Apostate to try to produce false archeological evidence to debunk Our Lord’s prophecy:

Ver. 2. Do you see all these things? Examine again and again all this magnificence, that the sentence of heaven may appear more striking. --- A stone upon a stone. We need not look on this as an hyperbole. The temple burnt by the Romans, and afterwards even ploughed up. See Gregory of Nazianzus, orat. ii. cont. Julianum; Theodoret, lib. iii. Histor. chap. xx. &c. (Witham) --- Julian the apostate, wishing to falsify the predictions of Daniel and of Jesus Christ, attempted to rebuild the temple. For this purpose, he assembled the chief among the Jews, and asking them why they neglected the prescribed sacrifices, was answered, that they could not offer any where else but in the temple of Jerusalem. Upon this he ordered them to repair to Jerusalem, to rebuild their temple, and restore their ancient worship, promising them his concurrence in carrying on the work. This filled the Jews with inexpressible joy. Hence flocking to Jerusalem, they began with scorn and triumph to insult over the Christians. Contributions came in from all parts. The Jewish women stripped themselves of their most costly ornaments. The emperor opened his treasures to furnish every thing necessary for the building. The most able workmen were convened from all parts; persons of the greatest distinction were appointed to direct the work; and the emperor's friend, Alipius, was set over the whole, with orders to carry on the work without ceasing, and to spare no expense. All materials were laid in to an immense quantity. The Jews of both sexes bore a share in the labour; the women helping to dig the ground, and carry away the rubbish in their aprons and gowns. It is even said that the Jews appointed some pick-axes, spades, and baskets, to be made of silver, for the honour of the work. Till this time the foundations and some ruins of the walls had remained, as appears from St. Cyril, in his catechism xv. n. 15, and Eusebius, Dem. Evang. lib. viii. p. 406. These ruins the Jews first demolished with their own hands, thus concurring to the accomplishment of our Saviour's prediction. They next began to dig a new foundation, in which many thousands were employed. But what they had thrown up in the day, was, by repeated earthquakes, the night following cast back again into the trench. When Alipius the next day was earnestly pressing on the work, with the assistance of the governor of the province, there issued, says Ammianus Marcellinus, such horrible balls of fire out of the earth near the foundations, as to render the place inaccessible from time to time to the scorched workmen. And the victorious element continuing in this manner obstinately bent, as it were, to drive them to a distance, Alipius, thought proper to abandon, though reluctantly, the enterprise. This great event happened in the beginning of the year 363, and with many very astonishing circumstances is recorded both by Jews and Christians. See the proofs and a much fuller account of this astonishing event, which all the ancient fathers describe as indubitable, in Alban Butler's life of St. Cyril of Jerusalem, March 18thThus they so completely destroyed whatever remained of the ancient temple, that there was not left one stone upon another; nor were they permitted by heaven even to begin the new one. (Maldonatus) (Haydock Commntary.)

So much for the “fake news” and absolute hoax that is the “Western Wall” as being anything other than yet another means for the contemporary practitioners of a dead, superseded religion to lay claim to that which belongs to Christ the King and His true Church that He Himself founded upon the Rock of Saint Peter, the Pope, and to force the conciliar “popes” and dupes such as Trump and Vice President Michael Richard Pence, who is visiting the Zionist State of Israel this week, to do their obeisance in front of this hoax.

Peace in the Middle East?

Here is the only path to peace:

There exists an institution able to safeguard the sanctity of the law of nations. This institution is a part of every nation; at the same time it is above all nations. She enjoys, too, the highest authority, the fullness of the teaching power of the Apostles. Such an institution is the Church of Christ. She alone is adapted to do this great work, for she is not only divinely commissioned to lead mankind, but moreover, because of her very make-up and the constitution which she possesses, by reason of her age-old traditions and her great prestige, which has not been lessened but has been greatly increased since the close of the War, cannot but succeed in such a venture where others assuredly will fail.

It is apparent from these considerations that true peace, the peace of Christ, is impossible unless we are willing and ready to accept the fundamental principles of Christianity, unless we are willing to observe the teachings and obey the law of Christ, both in public and private life. If this were done, then society being placed at last on a sound foundation, the Church would be able, in the exercise of its divinely given ministry and by means of the teaching authority which results therefrom, to protect all the rights of God over men and nations.

It is possible to sum up all We have said in one word, "the Kingdom of Christ." For Jesus Christ reigns over the minds of individuals by His teachings, in their hearts by His love, in each one's life by the living according to His law and the imitating of His example. Jesus reigns over the family when it, modeled after the holy ideals of the sacrament of matrimony instituted by Christ, maintains unspotted its true character of sanctuary. In such a sanctuary of love, parental authority is fashioned after the authority of God, the Father, from Whom, as a matter of fact, it originates and after which even it is named. (Ephesians iii, 15) The obedience of the children imitates that of the Divine Child of Nazareth, and the whole family life is inspired by the sacred ideals of the Holy Family. Finally, Jesus Christ reigns over society when men recognize and reverence the sovereignty of Christ, when they accept the divine origin and control over all social forces, a recognition which is the basis of the right to command for those in authority and of the duty to obey for those who are subjects, a duty which cannot but ennoble all who live up to its demands. Christ reigns where the position in society which He Himself has assigned to His Church is recognized, for He bestowed on the Church the status and the constitution of a society which, by reason of the perfect ends which it is called upon to attain, must be held to be supreme in its own sphere; He also made her the depository and interpreter of His divine teachings, and, by consequence, the teacher and guide of every other society whatsoever, not of course in the sense that she should abstract in the least from their authority, each in its own sphere supreme, but that she should really perfect their authority, just as divine grace perfects human nature, and should give to them the assistance necessary for men to attain their true final end, eternal happiness, and by that very fact make them the more deserving and certain promoters of their happiness here below.

It is, therefore, a fact which cannot be questioned that the true peace of Christ can only exist in the Kingdom of Christ -- "the peace of Christ in the Kingdom of Christ." It is no less unquestionable that, in doing all we can to bring about the re-establishment of Christ's kingdom, we will be working most effectively toward a lasting world peace. (Pope Pius XI, Ubi Arcano Dei Consilio, December 23, 1922.)

True peace is to be found only in the Catholic Faith. None other. False religions are inspired by the adversary. God loathes each and every false religion, including conciliarism, which corrupts His immutable truths as it celebrates almost everything condemned by His Holy Church throughout the course of the past one thousand nine hundred eighty-three years. It is false, offensive to God and injurious to human souls, each of which has been redeemed by the shedding of every single drop of the Most Precious Blood of His Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, to contend that all religions want peace. They do not.  A false religion is of its very nature at war with the true God of Divine Revelation and either all or part of what He has entrusted to His Holy Church for its infallible explication and eternal safekeeping.

Pope Leo XIII warned us rather specifically about the likes of naturalists such as Donald John Trump and Modernists such as Jorge Mario Bergoglio and those who have preceded him as heads of the counterfeit church of conciliarism:

Everyone should avoid familiarity or friendship with anyone suspected of belonging to masonry or to affiliated groups. Know them by their fruits and avoid them. Every familiarity should be avoided, not only with those impious libertines who openly promote the character of the sect, but also with those who hide under the mask of universal tolerance, respect for all religions, and the craving to reconcile the maxims of the Gospel with those of the revolution. These men seek to reconcile Christ and Belial, the Church of God and the state without God. (Pope Leo XIII, Custodi Di Quella Fede, December 8, 1892.)

This is rather clear.

As noted earlier in this commentary, we must reform our own lives. Pope Pius XI explained that men must reform their lives in cooperation with Sanctifying Grace if they are to be instruments of the peace of Christ the King and credible apologists of the true Faith:

20. Every true and lasting reform has ultimately sprung from the sanctity of men who were driven by the love of God and of men. Generous, ready to stand to attention to any call from God, yet confident in themselves because confident in their vocation, they grew to the size of beacons and reformers. On the other hand, any reformatory zeal, which instead of springing from personal purity, flashes out of passion, has produced unrest instead of light, destruction instead of construction, and more than once set up evils worse than those it was out to remedy. No doubt "the Spirit breatheth where he will" (John iii. 8): "of stones He is able to raise men to prepare the way to his designs" (Matt. iii. 9). He chooses the instruments of His will according to His own plans, not those of men. But the Founder of the Church, who breathed her into existence at Pentecost, cannot disown the foundations as He laid them. Whoever is moved by the spirit of God, spontaneously adopts both outwardly and inwardly, the true attitude toward the Church, this sacred fruit from the tree of the cross, this gift from the Spirit of God, bestowed on Pentecost day to an erratic world. (Pope Pius XI, Mit  Brennender Sorge, March 17, 1937.)

Yes, we must reform our own lives with every beat of our hearts, consecrated as they must be to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. In order to do this, of course, we love God as He has revealed Himself to us exclusively through His Catholic Church with our whole mind, our whole soul, our whole body, our whole heart and our whole strength. We must love others for love of Him, Who wills the good of all men, which is the salvation of their immortal souls as members of the Catholic Church.

In contradistinction to the elegies of praise heaped on the Zionist State of Israel by President Donald John Trump and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, we should make Dom Prosper Gueranger’s prayer for the Feast of the Finding of the Holy Cross, which occurs on May 3 annually unless impeded by one of the Paschaltime feasts, our own in these days when Zionism is alive and well both in the world-at-large and at the Casa Santa Marta:

Christ Crucified is the power and wisdom of God. Thus spoke thine Apostle, O Jesus! and we are witnesses of the truth of his words. The Synagogue thought do dishonour thee by nailing thee to a Cross, for it was written in the Law: Cursed is he that hangeth on a tree. But, lo! this gibbet, this tree of infamy, is become the trophy of thy grandest glory! Far from dimming the splendour of Thy Resurrection, the Cross enhances the brilliance of thy magnificent triumph. Thou was attached to the Wood--thou tookest on thyself the curse that was due to us; thou was crucified between two thieves; thou wast reputed as an impostor, and thine enemies insulted thee in thine agony on this bed of suffering. Hadst thou been but man, O Son of David! all this would have disgraced thy name and memory; the Cross would have been the ruin of thy past glory; but thou art the Son of God, and it is the Cross that proves it. The whole world venerates thy Cross. It was  and the Cross that brought the world to submission to thee. The honours that are now paid it more than make amends for the insults that we were once offered it. Men are not wont to venerate a cross; but if they do, it is the Cross on which their God died. Oh! blessed be he that hung upon the Tree! And do thou, dearest crucified Jesus! in return for the homage we pay to thy Cross, fulfil the promise thou madest us: And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all things unto myself

That thou mightest the more effectually draw us, thou this day permittedst us to find the very Wood, whereon thou didst stretch forth thy divine arms to embrace us. Thou has deigned to give us this holy instrument of thy victory which is to shine near thee in the heavens on the day of judgement; thou hast mercifully confided it to our keeping, in order that we might thence derive a salutary fear of divine Justice, which demanded thy death on this Wood in atonement for our sins. Thou also gavest us this most precious relic, that it might excite us to a devoted love for thee, O divine Victim! who, that we might be blessed, didst take upon thyself the maledictions due to our sins. The whole world is offering thee to-day its fervent thanks for so inestimable a gift. Thy Cross, by being divided into countless fragments, is in all places, consecrating and protecting by its presence every country of the Christian world.

Oh! that we had St. Helen's spirit, dear Jesus, and knew, as she did, the breadth, the length, and height, and depth of the mystery of thy Cross. Her love of the mystery made her so earnest in her search for the Cross. And how sublime is the spectacle offered to us by this holy Empress! She adorns thy glorious Sepulchre; she raises the Cross from its grave; who was there, that ever proclaimed with such a solemnity as this, the Paschal Mystery? The Cross exclaims: 'I held him captive for a few passing hours: he is not here! He is resplendent in the glory of his Resurrection!' O Cross! O Sepulchre! how brief was the period of his humiliation, and how grand the kingdom he won by you! We will adore in you the place where his feet stood, making you the instrument of our Redemption, and thereby endearing you to our respectful love for ever. Glory, then, to be to thee, O Cross! dear object of this day's festival! Continue to protect this world where our Jesus has left thee. Be its shield against Satan. Help us to remember that union of sacrifice and triumph which will support us in all our crosses for it is by thee, O Cross! that Christ conquers, and reigns, and commands CHRISTUS VINCIT, CHRISTUS REGNANT,CHIRSTUS IMPERAT. (Dom Prosper Gueranger, O.S.B., The Liturgical Year: Paschal Time: Book II, pp. 428-430.)

We must be willing to die a martyr’s death, if only the white or the dry martyrdom of humiliation, to defend the Faith. And to this end, of course, we must call upon the help of the Queen of Martyrs, Our Lady, especially by means of using the spiritual weapon that is her Most Holy Rosary to keep us close to her as we are clothed in the garment of her Brown Scapular and adorned with her Miraculous Medal. The graces which she sends us daily from the Treasury of Grace won for us by her Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, are sufficient helps to remain strong in the Catholic Faith, not the false religion of conciliarism, until the end. Never doubt that this is so. Never.

This time of chastisement will pass.

The Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be made manifest.

True, we may not be alive to witness this triumph. We can, however, plant the seeds for it by our patient endurance of the crosses of the moment as we make whatever sacrifice necessary and endure whatever calumny, humiliation and hardship that is required in order to make no concessions to falsehoods, whether of Modernity or Modernism, of any kind at any time for any reason.

The final victory belongs to Our Lady’s Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart as she manifests a true restoration when a true pope consecrates Russia with all of the bishops of the world to her in fulfillment of Our Lady’s Fatima Message.

It is important therefore to give all of the penances and sufferings and humiliations of this present life through that same Immaculate Heart to the Most Sacred Heart of her Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
