Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Writing this in the aftermath of incurring my third concussion since January 14, 2013 (this time, however, I did not close a trunk lid on the top of my head; no, banged my right temple hard into the side of our minivan's hatch while putting in refilled bottles of water at a "Family Dollar" store, which has a machine that charges twenty-five cents to refill a one-gallon bottle with water, as the hatch is broken and does not open up properly), it has become necessary to update this page for the first time in nine months.
Although there is always a need to update this page, I have refrained from doing so in recent years as I know that the readership level of this site is very low and that the financial ability of those readers who support my work is limited. We have been blessed with the help of about seven individuals who have responded to various appeals made privately when circumstances require me to write to them. Our circumstances are such at present that this donations letter has become ncessary in order to meet a few pressing bills not covered by the donations received from these good people, whose non-tax-deductible financial gifts have helped us just within the past ten days.
Some of the items listed on this page's last updating nine months ago will probably be beyond our means to afford anytime soon (quadrifocal lenses, a used washer and dryer). Unexpected expenses have arisen that have consumed what little I have in the way of disposable funds after monies are paid out on the fourth Wednesday of each month. These expenses need to be met fairly immediately.
As always, I hate having to ask the readership of this site for non-tax-deductible donations, but it is simply not right to go make private appeals to those who have been so good to us in other situations throughout the year, which is why I am updating this page at a time when there is much too much month at the end of the money.
Above all else, of course, I ask the prayers of those of you who support the work of this site but who cannot be of any financial help to us now as it is those prayers that sustain this site in the midst of each of the circumstances that unfold according to the Providence of God so that we can glorify Him as the consecrated slaves of His Co-Equal and Co-Eternal Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Donations may be made through the PayPal donation available on this page.
Thank you so very much.
